Hi all, it's been a long while since I've updated several of my online accounts, with the exception of Bluesky and my participation in Artfight 2024. Here's something to jumpstart the blog until I have the means to play catch up!
Some new banner art for DEITIES that I've wanted to complete for a long while -- from the project’s inception when I drew this early sketch. Featuring the divine trio from the main storyline in their animal forms: Set, Horus, and Anubis. Alongside the banner art, I created makeshift references of their animal forms using the descriptions from their respective profiles.

Set's Profile: deitiesofduat.com/portfolio/set
Horus’s Profile: deitiesofduat.com/portfolio/horus
Anubis’s Profile: deitiesofduat.com/portfolio/anubis

I keep staring at this hieroglyph trying to make sense of this cryptid representing a head of a falcon with a body of a sphinx or as it is mentioned here hieracophinx of the god Horus. Horus is in the old Egyptian religion the god of war and the sky. The Egyptian pantheon of gods and goddesses is composed of several cryptids. Where do the Egyptians get the idea of representing men with the heads of animals and birds? The most logical explanation is that such creatures will pass on to humans their powers and qualities and virtues and make them immortals, giving them the power to rule in the afterlife in a nutshell. To this very day the narrative of the Egyptian gods and goddesses is a complex one but still there’s much we don’t know .Many old civilizations do have their gods with therianthropic powers or the ability to shapeshift from human to animals in their mythologies. Closer to our times we have the reported case of Skinwalkers.Well, I will delve about these creatures in future blogs .This topic is of interest to me because of Shamanism and its relationship with animal guides in Native American lore and shapeshifters. There is also a much deeper connection with the Egyptian discovery in the Grand Canyon here in the US. Thanks to all those who follow my blog and many blessings.Words by Sergio GuymanProust.

MDNI18+MDNI18+MDNI18+MDNI18+MDNI18+
The sanctuary was nothing like they’d expected.
Dense fog clung to the forest floor, muffling their footsteps and swallowing every sound. Towering trees stretched endlessly above them, their branches twisted together like ancient hands guarding the sanctuary’s secrets. The air was thick and damp, carrying scents of moss and earth, tinged with hints of wild animals and faint traces of something else—something that felt old, almost sacred. It was a place untouched by the outside world, a haven carved out of the wilderness, and every instinct in Price told him they were being watched.
Captain Price led the way through the misty forest, his senses heightened, the quiet hum of wolf instincts ever-present in his mind. His eyes scanned the shadows, alert for any sign of movement, every fiber of him tuned to the pulse of the forest. Behind him, Ghost moved like a wraith, his panther-like form blending seamlessly into the darkness, each step careful and deliberate, his presence almost an extension of the shadows themselves. Gaz circled above in falcon form, his sharp eyes piercing through the canopy, scanning the surrounding trees with precision, watching for anything out of the ordinary. Soap followed close to Price, his husky ears perked and alert, his energy barely contained, as if every sound was calling him to explore.
As a pack, they moved seamlessly, each member adapting to the environment, their hybrid senses complementing each other. The forest around them was eerily quiet, the usual sounds of birds and insects absent as though the sanctuary itself was holding its breath. Just as Price was about to signal for a halt, Gaz’s voice crackled softly through the comms, a low murmur that barely broke the stillness.
“Got movement, Cap. Northwest, closing fast. Looks like we’ve got company.”
Price’s ear twitched, picking up the faint rustling of leaves from the direction Gaz had indicated. He raised a hand, signaling the others to stop, his body tensing as he scanned the shadows ahead. His gaze sharpened, waiting for any sign of a threat, when a sudden flash of red fur caught his eye, there and gone again, darting through the underbrush with silent grace and a speed that suggested they weren’t alone.
“It’s a fox,” Price muttered under his breath, though he didn’t relax, his hand hovering near his weapon just in case.
Moments later, a figure emerged from the trees, moving with a fluid confidence that put the entire team on edge. It was a fox hybrid, their stature smaller than the 141 members but exuding an unmistakable presence. Their sharp, glinting eyes danced over each of them, assessing, appraising, lingering just a moment longer on Ghost before finally settling on Price.
“Well, well,” the fox drawled, their voice carrying a playful yet dangerous edge as they crossed their arms. “More rogues, I assume? You’re not exactly blending in.”
The fox’s sly smile and relaxed stance belied a readiness, a coiled energy that suggested they could vanish or attack in an instant if provoked. Price held their gaze steadily, refusing to let himself be rattled. “We’re just passing through,” he said, his voice steady, but every word measured.
The fox tilted their head, studying them intently with a glimmer of amusement in their eyes. “Nobody just passes through here,” they replied, one brow raised as they spoke. “But if you’re here to help, then maybe we can have a chat. Otherwise…” They trailed off, their fingers twitching ever so slightly, a subtle hint that they could disappear into the shadows in a heartbeat if they chose.
Price exchanged a glance with Soap, who was watching the fox intently, a smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. “I like ‘em already,” he whispered to Ghost, whose only response was a quiet, amused huff from under his mask.
The fox’s gaze flickered between them, clearly aware of the silent exchanges. “So, are you going to keep staring?” they teased, their voice laced with a challenge. “Or should I show you somewhere a bit safer than out here?”
“Lead the way,” Price replied, stepping forward, his voice a quiet command as he signaled to the others to follow.
The fox hybrid didn’t hesitate, moving deeper into the forest with a quick, confident stride, winding through paths that seemed invisible to anyone who hadn’t been born to this place. As they walked, the fog grew thicker, shrouding the trees in a ghostly mist that muted every sound and blurred the edges of the world around them. It was as if the sanctuary itself was wrapping them in secrecy, guarding its mysteries from prying eyes.
They came to an abrupt stop near a secluded glade where a small fire flickered, casting a warm, welcoming glow against the cold mist. The fox turned to them, their gaze unwavering as they gestured for them to sit around the fire. Soap dropped down with a grin, his tail wagging with an eagerness that made Price feel the faintest sense of relief at being out of the open, if only for a moment.
“I’ll make this quick,” the fox began, folding their arms across their chest as they met each team member’s gaze. “There’s a group of rogues here, causing chaos for hybrids and humans alike. They’re not subtle, and they’re dangerous. If you’re here to help with that, then I can give you intel—maybe even show you some safe paths.”
Price studied them carefully, his expression unreadable. “And what’s in it for you?”
The fox shrugged, a slight smile tugging at the corner of their mouth. “I don’t trust anyone to do a job properly unless I’m involved. Besides, you all look like you could use a bit of help.”
Soap chuckled, an amused spark in his eyes as he looked the fox over with admiration. “You’re not wrong about that.”
Ghost’s voice cut in, low and sharp as he fixed the fox with a piercing stare. “And how do we know we can trust you?”
The fox met Ghost’s gaze without flinching, their own expression softening slightly. “You don’t,” they replied simply. “But you can trust that I don’t want those rogues overrunning my home.” For the first time, Price caught a glimpse of something deeper beneath their confident demeanor—a hint of loyalty, a fierce protectiveness that resonated with him.
The fox shifted, stretching out with a lazy elegance as their red tail curled around them, a playful glint returning to their eyes as they looked each of them in turn. “Well, boys, do we have a deal?”
Price didn’t need to look back at his team to know their answer. He extended his hand, sealing the alliance with a firm nod, his gaze steady. “Looks like we’re in this together.”

How do they feel about dress-up? 🦸 (Pt. 2)
Featuring Bucky, Sam Wilson, Wanda Maximoff, Vision, Scott Lang, T'Challa, Spidey (aged-up), and Doctor Strange. Written from a bi woman's perspective. NSFW under the cut! ⚠️🔞
Bucky Barnes
Bucky’s got too much trauma. If you ever dared tell him that you find the Winter Soldier look hot, he’d feel quite honestly disgusted and betrayed. With some couples therapy, he might come to understand your position, assuming you make it abundantly clear that your feelings regarding the look are purely physical and no part of you is emotionally attached to the persona. He’d probably never feel like he could do the full roleplay, but he might be willing to grow his hair out and put on a little eyeliner for you now and again. What Bucky really would like is for you to appreciate him as he was. Profess to him that you love a man in uniform, tell him that you want him to pull the old sergeant garb out of the closet and fuck you like he just got home from the war. That’ll be a dream come true for him, and an exercise he’d be much more comfortable entertaining.
Tumblr media
Sam Wilson
Sam would throw his head back and laugh if you told him you thought he looked hot in the Falcon garb. Add that you dig the wings, and he’d raise an eyebrow. What’s that? You think he looks hot in the Captain America suit too? He’s flattered. Truth be told, Sam would jump at the chance to fuck you in costume—either costume. He’ll even throw in some cheesy one-liners. No wings, though. What would you say to a little birdwatching to help you get in the mood beforehand? As in you sit on the roof with a pair of binoculars while he does majestic circles around you? That’s the best he can do where that’s concerned. Ask real nice.
Tumblr media
Wanda Maximoff
Hey, this girl has a secret thing for Mexican wrestlers, she can hardly kinkshame you for this dress-up request. Plus red is the color of love, so it’s ready-made. Tonight, it won’t be Wanda who comes for you…it will be the Scarlet Witch!
Tumblr media
Vision
Vision’s first reaction to you asking him to make love to you as, well, the Vision will be a thoughtful stare. You didn’t actually start dating until he’d made the habit of appearing before you in ostensibly human form. He’ll ask you if it’s more about your wanting to feel like you’re connecting with the real him, or more that you find his synthezoid look arousing. He won’t judge you for either—he’s only curious. A little bit of both, you say? Few things in this world can make an artificial lifeform smile so.
Tumblr media
Scott Lang
Now, when you said you wanted him to wear the Ant-Man suit to bed, you didn’t have shrinking in mind, did you? Scott’ll fuck you with it on no problem, but he’s disabling the controls first. Better safe than sorry. He can’t really make fun of you for being into the suit, he honestly thinks he looks pretty good in it too. Now if Hank would just make you one…
Tumblr media
King T’Challa
Be careful when you broach this one with T’Challa. The Black Panther is a sacred tradition, and he’ll be much more likely to see the humor in your request if he’s known you for a while. He’s going to think you’re kidding at first, and when you insist that you’re not, he’s going to poke fun. In the end, though, he’ll indulge you. He might even end up liking it more than you do.
Tumblr media
Spider-Man (post-NWH)
“Sexy” is not the first word Peter thought anyone would use to describe his Spidey suit. “Is it because it makes my butt look good? I guess it does make my butt look good.” He’s down, don’t worry. Seeing as the mask helps dial down the sensory input from world around him, he might last longer with it on, so that’ll be a nice bonus. What’d be really nice for him is if you pulled it off at just the right moment…
Tumblr media
Doctor Strange
Hoo boy, will you get a look from Stephen when you confess to him that you dig the mystic garb and want him to fuck you in it. He’s always been more of a take-all-his-clothes-off kinda guy, hence your having to make the request. When he asks you to clarify whether “the outfit” includes the Cloak of Levitation, you’ll tell him it doesn’t have to because you don’t want to risk him not dressing up at all. But guess what? He’ll do it anyway. And find it startlingly erotic. Next time, he wants you to be the one wearing Cloaky. Preferably with nothing underneath.

[ HoS ] ANCIENT EGYPTIAN AMULETS
Tumblr media
The Isis knot is just as iconic as it is mysterious. It is unclear what this knot is meant to represent exactly: some Egyptologists argue it may have been a very ancient form of menstrual pad, while others believe it had religious or decorative purposes."
Tumblr media
The Djed Pillar, representing Osiris' spine, is a powerful amulet used by both the living and the dead. Often made from various materials, it is also depicted in Egyptian art with a pair of hands and a feathered crown topped by the sun, symbolizing Osiris and divine resurrection.
Tumblr media
The Ancient Egyptians believed the core of our intelligence and mind was the heart, rather than the brain. They couldn’t determine this latter's purpose, so during the mummification process, they discarded it, pulling it out through the nose with a hook, leaving only the essential vital organs to be preserved for the afterlife. In fact, the heart was regarded as both the source of emotions and feelings, and the seat of one's entire being—no wonder it was shaped like a vase!
Tumblr media
Even those unfamiliar with Ancient Egyptian art recognize this iconic symbol. Over time, the Ankh, or 'Key of Life,' became synonymous with Egypt itself and its ancient religion. Some Egyptologists suggest that its shape may have been inspired by a knotted cloth, though its use was primarily decorative.
In some murals, strings of Ankh symbols were used to represent water, as it was the ultimate symbol of life for the Egyptians—everything originated from it, making the Ankh a fitting metaphor.
In other depictions, gods are shown 'spoon-feeding' pharaohs and the dead with an Ankh in their hands, symbolizing the soul being revived by the divine as it begins its journey to the afterlife."
Tumblr media
One of the most common artifacts found by archaeologists during excavations, the Scarab is an iconic amulet that served many purposes for both the living and the dead.
In life, it was used as a seal, a protective amulet, or simply as jewelry, often worn as a ring or necklace, typically linked to a golden wire. In death, it was frequently placed around the neck and functioned as a protective charm for the heart, earning the name 'heart scarab.'
The scarab was the sacred animal of the god Khepri and symbolized the sun.
Tumblr media
For the Ancient Egyptians, the soul was divided into several parts—nine in total, including the physical body. It was crucial that each of these parts made it to the afterlife, allowing the dead to be reborn in the Duat, the Egyptian underworld. The Ba, which represents our unique personality, was often placed on the mummy's chest so it could rest near the heart, another key component of the soul.
Tumblr media
In Ancient Egypt, the papyrus stem was a common decorative element. Temple columns were often shaped to resemble this iconic plant. Its frequent appearance in Egyptian art was partly due to its significant color: green, the color of resurrection, sacred to the god Osiris. By placing a papyrus-shaped amulet around a mummy’s neck, the Egyptians believed it would ensure eternal youth for the soul in the afterlife.
Tumblr media
The Eye of Horus, modeled after the left eye of the falcon god of kingship, is one of the most iconic symbols of Ancient Egypt. Found in numerous tombs, it was continuously produced from the late Old Kingdom through to the Roman period. It served both as an amulet to ward off evil and as a decoration on boats and mummies. Representing the moon and the righteous nature of the god, it is also closely connected to other benevolent deities, such as Osiris, Thoth, and Ma'at. Tied to the story of Horus's restored eye, it became a symbol of health and healing.
Tumblr media
Used exclusively in funerary contexts, this peculiar amulet depicts the index and middle fingers of a right hand, which were believed to 'heal' the incision made by embalmers to remove the mummy’s organs during the mummification process.

Note
Do you think each court has their own winged fae? I read Home to Me and can't stop thinking of it.
Absolutely
The Winged Fae of Prythian Headcanons
Warnings - references to wing sensitivity in all ways, long post, sad back stories
A/n - poll at the end for giggles
Tumblr media
Dawn - The Peregryn
Tumblr media
Similar to the Illyrians, Peregryns are a warrior breed of winged fae
Liz personally pictured hawk to falcon like wings
Their wings allow them to be agile and very fast due to how narrow they are in comparison to Illyrian wings
Their wings are sensitive like Illyrians, but due to the protection the feathers provide, you have to be a little rougher for the same reactions.
Their wings are considered very sacred.
If you were to court a Peregryn male, if they intend to marry you, they will pluck one of their feathers, causing them pain, and offer it to you. Mainly, females will weave that feather in their hair, carrying a piece of their husband at all times.
Peregryn females offer similar tokens to their loves. Males will turn them to writing quills, signing important documents as if their wife is right beside them.
Day - The Celestine
Tumblr media
The Celestine are a thought to be an extinct race. They were hunted down by Amarantha's forces.
She did not stop until every last one she knew of was wiped from the court, a cold and calculated move she knew hurt Helion and his father
The Celestine got their name from their wings. Feathers of pure white that glitter gold in the Day Court sunlight. They were thought to be celestial bodies until one of the former Lords of Day finally approached one and realized they were fae
They were a breed of scholars, specifically studying the pegasus. Before Amarantha's attack, you would commonly see them flying with the majestic horses and handling their care.
There are a handful left that warded themselves with the remaining pegasi. The race is slowly rebuilding, but like all fae, pregnancy is rare.
Helion has kept them secret, finding them much to valuable to his court to risk someone getting the same idea.
The Celestine do not have wing sensitivity the way Illyrians and Peregryn do. Their feathers are rather thick.
They do still use their wings as a courting symbol. They will turn a few feather into a clip for their partner's hair. The clips are traditional gold with gems.
Night - The Illyrians
Tumblr media
Arguably the most powerful of the Winged fae, the Illyrians reside in the mountains of the Night Court
They are a race of warriors with strong bat like wings.
Due to their wings being so exposed, they are highly sensitive. You could gently run the back of your finger along the ridge and bring a grown male to his knees.
Wings are not used for courting purposes to illyrians, but they are seen as sacred. To touch an illyrian's wings is a great privilege.
Female wings are typically larger than male wings. Hince why they are clipped during a female's first cycle. It makes them non functional and stops them from overshadowing the males.
Autumn - The Leaf Folk
Tumblr media
The Leaf Folk race is truly extinct. The Autumn Lords hunted them down like it was a sport for their unique wings.
Their wings were seen as treasures to the people of Autumn due to them being so similar to the leaves of the forest, thus making them a desired object for mating presents and a sign of wealth
They were peaceful fae. Their sole purpose was maintaining the apple trees, ensuring each and every single one was perfect and producing ripe fruits.
Their wings make crinkling noises like autumn leaves as well, giving them camouflage and protection.
Little is known regarding their courting traditions, but it is known they rarely bred or married outside of their own kind
Beron had met one. A female. It was during his youth, before he had been fully corrupted by his father. He learned firsthand how sensitive their wings were.
Just a breath could make this fae putty.
Since the last female was found, her wings now splayed in the Autumn Court throne room long after her death, there's rot settling into the court.
It started in the orchard furthest from the Forest House and has slowly spread.
The last female had whispered something in a tongue no one understood. Centuries later, Eris discovered it was a curse. One that would end when the love of the last female met his death.
Summer - The Stormmakers
Tumblr media
The pride of the summer court.
Rich deep grey wings that spark with lightning, the Stormmakers can change the weather with just a breath of magic.
Their wings blend perfectly into storm clouds, their favorite place to play.
Touching their wings is dangerous. They carry lightning in every feather. It can make for an exciting experience if you are into that type of play, though.
They typically do not feel the touch on their wings due to the numbness the constant sparking caused
They are a thriving race, and most are found in their small community they have carved out in a cave.
Courting is not a thing amoung this race. They marry young based on deals made by their parents to ensure a strong bloodline
Spring - Flower Folk
Tumblr media
The flower folk are treasures to the Spring Court.
Their wings come in a variety of colors, shapes, and styles, but they are all consistently irredescent and translucent.
They are very peaceful and almost always unseen. Their magic allows them to change their sizes, and most choose to live in fae gardens and houses set up by children in Spring.
They work with pollinators to keep the flowers and fruits growing and producing.
Their wings break very easily due to how thin they are. They do not partake in wing play with just anyone for that reason.
These fae learned to communicate with bees, so it is very common to see them dancing, little pieces of sparkling fae dust coming off them as they do
These are the fae humans warn their children most about, the playful pixies who will lead them into dangerous fae traps.
These fae offer each other butterflies as a courting gift. To exchange a butterfly with them is to accept their offer of marriage due to how sacred they see their winged friends.
Winter - Ice Spirits
Tumblr media
Rarely seen and very deadly
These fae have been known to freeze others for discovering their hide outs.
They were once believed to be myth, a nightmare mother's warned their faelings about.
One was dragged to Kallias's father by her hair, and that bond snapping led to one of winter's most well-kept secrets.
They want to be left alone. Do you know how hard it is to maintain winter over four courts?
Their wings look soft, but they are actually made of snow and ice. You can't melt them, though, don't worry.
They hold a soft spot of their Lord and Lady, always willing to take a load off his shoulders and rebuild broken ice dams.
Rhys once approached them asking for more snow fall in Velaris. Mistake. Huge. Mistake.
These fae are well known for their ice sports, but be prepared to watch from a distance
They tried to teach Kal how to ice skate once, he is too muscular to be graceful on the ice and had to instead settle for what they call "hockey." The High Lord has received a few black eyes during his time playing.
These fae also tend to only marry within their own kind.
They purpose with a snowflake they hand crafted. The more intricate the pattern, the longer your love took to craft it for you.
Their wings are always numbed due to how cold they are, but they absolutely love temperature play. Warmth is such a rare thing for them to feel, and it makes their wings very sensitive.

Adventure: Through the Vine
Surrounded by some of the most coveted vineyards on the continent, your party sits in the shaded garden and listens to the old alchemist explaining why she needs your help getting drunk enough to see the face of god.
Every adventurer knows the name Ultani, at least those with coin and taste enough to order bottles of wine when they and their friends hit up a tavern after a delve. What an irony then for one of the Ultani family to ask for THEM at her table, and with a business proposition of all things.
Bent with age but bright of eye, Ivilia Ultani needs their help tracking down the location of an abandoned druid sanctum in the far wilderness and retrieving fruit sacred to the god of vintners and healers left over from a disastrous ritual. Her reasons? Apparently after decades perusing the alchemical mysteries Ivilia got her hands on a bottle blessed by the wine-god himself, and spent four days in a state of drunken revelation pencilling out her magnum opus. The bottle and her inspiration dry just before she finished, so rather than waiting years trying to trial and error the last piece or searching for another bottle she's decided to make some of her own.
Along the way the party will contend with family drama, the cutthroat politics of the wine trade, and the long echoing consequences of stealing from merciful gods. For their troubles they'll not only earn the thanks of a talented alchemist, but also potentially a new home should they hold true to their task.
Setup: Though she is the oldest of her of her merchant clan Ivilia is not the head of the Ultani winery. Her younger brother Valtar had the talent for cultivation and business while she veered towards eccentric scholarship, now Valtar's adult grandchildren run the business and the numerous sprawling vineyards associated with it while she lives in learned obscurity on the original family homestead.
While she occasionally helps out whit a new formulation of fertilizer or pest repellent, Ivilia is rather distant from the rest of the Ultani family who view her as a bit of a kook, who all to often uses her inherited share of the enterprise to buy obscure texts or finance futile experiments.
Challenges & Complications:
Actually finding the sanctum is going to be half the problem. Druidic orders are notoriously protective about the location of their secret clubhouses, and this order was scattered to the wind more than a century ago. Ivilia has tracked down the vague location where she thinks the sanctum might be, but unless the party wants to spend days combing the dangerous wilderness they're going to need to track down a more reliable source. Parsing through local rumours and records gives them three leads, an elf who still provides council to the local Count (goodluck getting an appointment), a vaguely helpful ditty that was recounted to a local bard (since dramatized in endless retelling), and an elder of the order who flew back to his home village in the shape of a falcon. Investigating the latter finds that the elder was apparently so scarred by what he'd seen at the sanctum that he transformed himself into a tree and has spent the intervening decades letting his mind and memory lignify.
The Sanctum itself and the landscape that surrounds it has been scarred by an act of divine wrath that still lingers in the form of dangerous fey and choking vines. Roots have undermined the walls and foundations, making chambers all to easy to collapse. In the centre of this ruin lays the undead corpse of Elmgrace , a once famed elven healer who sought the boon of the god Litirenn only to try and use that gift to reign the god towards his own purposes. Resentful at this deception Litirenn unleashed havoc on the sanctum, cursing Elmgrace never to die, never to rot, and never to rejoin the cycle of nature. Forever vinebound to the same altar he intended for the deity, Elmgrace's few last fanatical followers still tend to his broken body, attempting to brew up more potent poisons that will finally "free" their teacher from his torment.
Unfortunately, the fruit the party needs to pluck grows only from the plants impaling Elmgrace's body, which his followers are very protective of. Even after the party races through the wilderness and back to civilization with their prize they'll need to look over their shoulder for toxin obsessed cultists stalking their trail.
Further Adventures:
Milo Ultani has something to prove, the oldest of four siblings and a gaggle of cousins poised to inherit the winery he was raised to value hard work and loyalty to the family above all else. All his life it has irked him that his great aunt was allowed to dwell in their ancestral home, some of the nicest land his family owns, leaching off their enterprise like a withered limb. What finally drives him to act is Ivilia offhandedly mentioning that she intends to sign over her house and land to the party as a reward for helping her drink her way to enlightenment again. Resentment turns to rage in the young man's mind as a plan begins to form; A vine must be pruned in order to be fruitful after all.
When the party return with the godly fruit they're going to find Ivilia gone, her home broken into during the night her bed a mess of red that at first seems to be blood, but is infact wine. Surrounded by experts it doesn't take long for the vino in question to be identified as belonging to Jadash Hill, one of the Ultani's oldest rivals who are known for their unscrupulous business practices. It's at this point that Milo comes forward, reporting that some of their carters had gotten into brawls with those from Jadash Hill at a local tollhouse, sending the bastards packing and ignoring their threats of reprisal as idle boasting. This did indeed happen, but only because Milo is in charge of part of the family's delivery operation and instigated the fight himself.
The clock is ticking, the party has a bushel of miracle fruit that's going to rot and the alchemist they were supposed to deliver it to is nowhere to be seen. They can either find Ivilia quick, figure out a method of preserving the fruit, or read through her notes and attempt to concoct the divine wine themselves.
However badly he thinks of her, Milo would never kill his great aunt, having instead had his loyal carters drag her off to a small cottage on the edge of a property the family was keeping fallow for the year. In his reckoning the old woman won't live much longer, and while the emerging feud with Jadash hill keeps the family busy he can figure out a better place to keep his great aunt locked up. He wasn't delicate in his planning but he moves fast and the influence he has with the workforce as the presumptive heir cannot be overstated.
