Five tempting sweet recipes to make your Navratri fasting tasteful
2. Kalakand: Grate or finely crush 250-300 g paneer to make approximately tightly packed cups.
In a thick-bottomed pan or kadhai, combine 1 tin/can (400 g)
sweetened condensed milk.
Stir in the grated or crumbled paneer and condensed milk.
Combine thoroughly.
Season with sugar to taste.
Simmer this mixture over low heat, stirring occasionally.
In the meantime, grease a pan or tray with ghee or oil. Line it with
parchment paper if desired.
Stir the mixture frequently to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of
the pan.
As the kalakand mixture simmers and begins to cook, it will thicken.
When the combination is finished,
3. Sweet potato Halwa- Boil Sweet potatoes
 Heat a pan and add ghee 
Add sugar if it’s required 
 Cook the halwa 
 Now serve & garnish with dry fruits.

Dhaniya Panjiri a Coriander Powder Dessert, is a Gluten Free food,  This delicacy is mostly prepared during Janmashtami Festival all over the world as an offering to Lord Krishana and is popularly prepared during Janmashtmi in Northern India, especially Punjab, Uttar Pradesh etc., however, you can also consume this Salutary and delicious Dhaniya Ki Panjiri every day after your meal as a dessert because of its health benefits.   Dhaniya panjiri is an aromatic preparation of dry ingredients mixed to form a sweet naivedyam or prasad and is even relished during fasts or Vrat. Dhaniya panjiri is a traditional naivedyam recipe that is offered to Lord Krishna, especially on Janmashtami. The aroma of the coriander powder and elaichi, with the sweetness of the sugar and crunchiness of the dry fruits make it a perfect dish to those who fast on Janmashtami or any other festival. On the Janmashtami day, this naivedyam is offered to Lord Krishna after prayers and distributed among the family as prasad. In India, we love to celebrate festivals and occasions with joy and vigour. Janmashtami is one such festival when we celebrate the birthday of Lord Krishna and serve various delicacies to him in his honour. Dhaniya Panjiri is also served to the Lord on Janmashtami.

Kuttu ki Puri (Buckwheat Flour bread) - a Vegan and Gluten Free poori (Gluten free pancakes) made from Buckwheat Flour and boiled mashed Potatoes. Delicious and perfect for fasting ,vrat or upvaas!! Specially made during fasting days, this Kuttu ki poori is so tasty and healthy apart from being gluten free. These pooris are extremely crisp and taste as good as regular pooris and goes very well with curd as kuttu tends to generate warmth in our body. It is the perfect lunch accompaniment during the fasting or 'vrat' period and delicious enough to prepare on normal days as well. Kuttu ke atte ki puri is made during religious fasting days like Janmashtami, Shivaratri or Ekadashi or Navratri fasting. during fasting days in north india, only certain flours are used. e.g. singhare ka atta (water chestnut flour), kuttu ka atta (buckwheat flour), rajgira ka atta(amaranth flour), sama ke chawal ka atta (barnyard millet flour) and arrowroot flour. These flour make an excellent gluten free option as well.
