i feel like i went a bit over board with their hair and also the pastel-ness, Erza's hair barely looks red😭

thanks to a tremendous help from loved ones, i was able to replace my tablet!!! so i'm celebrating with a @fairytail-redraw prompt of erza <3 it was nice to get back to doing linework and stuff (sry for any fuzz, i worked at a smaller canvas than usual and then compressed it for web posting)

I went outside of my normal comfort zone and did a true redraw instead of just and recoloring for @fairytail-redraw (you better be fucking proud of me phoenix, I did the prompt I suggested, and drew it)

These designs are based off the designs for ToC, thought everyone but Erza’s is still in the works

i got a headstart on this month's @fairytail-redraw and i was very excited to draw irene!!! i had a lot of fun with this, definitely did some learning in letting things sit overnight and coming back to them instead of just barrelling through.

i accidentally made parts of her outfit fuzzy so i made all the white parts fuzzy to match. be warm, ma'am.

i had artblock.. and i wanted to make myself get out of my comfort zone (the same 5 characters) .. so … this!! phoenix’s black gray design literally is the best thing i’ve ever seen and so is zai’s design for wendy!! literally cannot get these designs out of my brain .. frosted tips gray… because. ice magic……. ok bye guys
