🥹🥰 I have an amazing pair of friends! They recognize and support how much I care about the ocean and particularly sharks. Above, is a bracelet they bought me (surprised me with 🥲) from a company called, Fahlo.

I absolutely love that my friends saw this bracelet and thought of me. It's always the small things❤️. Ocean conservation and the preservation of all it's inhabitants is near and dear to my heart and soul! I truly am lucky to have these friends who see that and chose to support these organizations, not just to buy me a bracelet, but because of what it symbolizes! I will be wearing this proudly, every day, knowing what it represents and I will always cherish it, knowing that my friends support my passion 🥰❤️🦈!

Hey everyone different post than usual and it’s not sponsored. But at my Zoo we started selling these bracelets and they are interesting. They come from a company called Fahlo and Fahlo helps rescue animals and provides you with a way to track them too. So you can buy a bracelet and whichever animal you choose you will be assigned an individual from the species on that bracelet. When you open the pack it will give you a small pamphlet with a QR code that you can use after installing the Fahlo app to track the animal you been assigned.

Today I opened mine and got assigned this adorable male Penguin named Apollo XI. The app offers a lot of different features such as info on the animal, their most recent location, and previous locations. breaking up pot posting: my new bracelets arrived from Fahlo!

The turtle is Marigold Puddlefoot and she is an adult female loggerhead and looks to be around Virginia right now. The elephant is Arden, she is in the Samburu National Reserve and the Buffalo Springs National Reserve. They delay the tracking on the elephants by four months to keep their locations from being known by poachers.

I'm pleased with the bracelets, the beads are a nice colour and the little animal ones are very cute. But mostly, it's great to be able to see the movements of the animal! It's a very smart idea for getting people to feel more personally involved with wildlife conservancy. I'll probably get some more of other animals.

What's the most recent small thing someone has done for you that made you feel loved?

My husband just peeled and refrigerated 8 golden kiwis for me because they burn my skin slightly and I hate peeling them.

My favorite animals are elephants. I relate to them because I, too, am large and cumbersome and frequently without grace, but I also love their tenacity and the care they give each other.

My mother knows this and decided to get me a Fahlo bracelet of an elephant. So now I can track Orchid as she roams around Africa with her calf and herd!

getting better at coloring ig but i am still unsatisfied... anyway Arlene con machete for practice ^_^ using markers And colored pencils but also a good majority of my markers and colored pencils r lost to the grand, treacherous pit of the underside of my little sisters bed so i need more 😢 her skin specifically is what gets me bc ik i could color it better.....

I GOT A FAHLO BRACELET ON MY TRIP TO THE AQUARIUM YESTERDAY AND AHHHH! DOLPHIN BRAIN VERY HAPPY! I LOVE SAM WITH ALL OF MY HEART!! MY FLORIDIAN BOI!! (I'm calling him Floridian because the only place it's tracked him in is off the coast of Florida in the gulf of Mexico) And I think it's safe to say that I will be relying on Sam for serotonin until it ho longer tracks him (When that happens I will most likely bawl my eyes out.) But moral of the story is that my dolphin brain is very happy about this for reasons I cannot explain.

Ok my favorites change quite a bit but my all time fav sharks are between the blacktip reef sharks and the scalloped hammerhead sharks.

I'm not even sure why but they just speak to me for real. I think for scalloped hammerhead is because 2 years ago I got a fahlo animal tracking shark bracelet and I got that absolutely sweetest boy named chum and he is a scalloped hammerhead <3 !!
