Kairi took a deep breath, savoring the soft breeze as she stepped onto the island shore. Their round-trip visit to Master Yen Sid’s was longer than expected, earning a stretch and a yawn from Sora as he exited the Gummi Ship. His dark red hoodie peeked out from underneath his dark grey and black cotton jacket. Paired with his lax and loose cargo pants, Sora looked like he had finally grown into his clothes. Kairi jogged up behind him, dressed from head to toe in a long light pink overcoat. Her pink plaid flare dress swayed as she linked arms with Sora, beaming at the realization they’d made it back, safe and sound.
Sora and Kairi were done for now with fighting Heartless, Nobodies, and denizens of darkness. Their long-held promise of traveling the worlds was a reality. When deciding where they would begin their journey, the islands were an obvious choice. A world filled with greetings and partings. It only seemed fitting that they meet with their friends before going off on a long journey.
Kairi was practically giddy at first. But now, seeing their little island off in the distance, her eyes began to sting. The image of Sora fading away shimmered in her mind’s eye. Her racing heart faltered at the memory as she clung to him a bit tighter.
“It feels just like yesterday, that we were here,” she said, taking another breath to steady herself.
Sora tilted his head, not sure what brought on her sudden change. But a grin soon spread across his face as he put an arm around her waist to pull her closer. “Hmm, just tells you that nothing really changes! I’m glad, it’s nice to be back. I can’t wait to see everyone!”
Kairi reddened at their sudden closeness before easing into his rhythm. Sora was right, the Islands never changed, not really. Even if they had, it was a comfort to return to a place so closely tied to their hearts. “Yeah, and this time we aren’t saying goodbye, not really. It’s more like we’re setting off again and it’s an exciting journey. I can’t wait to see what other worlds we’ll find!” Kairi giggled as she broke free from his embrace and ran ahead of him. The tall hill before them extended off past the horizon.
Sora put his hands on his hips and drank in the scene of his hometown. There were a few new rooftops and terraces sprinkled about, but all in all, it was the same sleepy little beachside town he loved. “Yeah! I wanna see all that’s out there. But I’m glad to be back home for a bit, one last time before we set off on our own adventure. No Heartless, no Nobodies, just the two of us.” Sora beamed at her. It was a smile as bright as the sun on a clear summer’s day. Kairi felt all her past worries fade into the shadows cast by his light.
“Hmm, there may be some Heartless around. But I know you and I can take 'em!” Kairi pumped a fist as Sora fell into light laughter beside her.
“I know,” he said, gripping her hand a bit tighter. “So, where should we stop by first?”
Kairi traced the outline of a small square of double-folded paper in her jacket pocket. There was a place she wanted to go, and something she wanted to do—fulfill a dream she’d had for a long time. “Do you rememberwhen your mother first invited me over for your father’s Voyager Dinner?”
“Yeah, of course!” Sora grinned.
“Your mom…she told me the legend behind it, back then you know,” Kairi began.
***
It was both long ago, and yet just yesterday that a treasured memory took root in Kairi’s heart one sunset-kissed evening. It all began after a full day at the beach looking for sea glass with Sora. The two had taken their little haul and rushed to O’aka’s Odds and Ends, fully expecting to stuff their cheeks with candy before dinner. O’aka would usually buy the little bobbles from the kids in exchange for a bottle of Ramune or sweets. But not this evening. Instead, the two ran into Sora’s mother, who was out shopping for a “Voyager’s Dinner.”
“What’s a Voyager’s Dinner?”
“A seafarer’s wish of good luck,” Sora’s mother explained.
Sora soon stepped in with his own excitement and described how delicious the dessert was—asserting that Kairi had to have dinner with them and try it.
Wide-eyed and filled with curiosity, Kairi stood next to Sora’s mother in the kitchen that night, her tiny hands gripping the counter as she diverted all her attention to the woman’s careful movements. A gentle folding of dough and a scattering of cubes of butter left the little girl salivating. As Sora’s mother began to smooth the dough, Kairi dared to ask what it was she was making. What made it so special? Slowly, the woman’s voice filled with the crackle of the warmth of a fire and weaved a tale.
“Long ago, the seas were rougher and the night sky darker than it is now. Only a few stars twinkled in the sky and could guide seafarers to their destination. The mainland itself was larger, much larger than it is now, and connected to so many other villages. And the sea, well, it was so large that you could travel hours by boat and only barely see the shore of another island. Our people, spurred on by the tales of passing travelers, took up their masts and set out to sea to find new lands, aware of the dangers and all they could lose.
Still, despite the pleas of their families , many decided they must set off for broader horizons. And so, the mothers, fathers, lovers, and friends banded together to wish their passionate travelers well. One proposed that they use the mystical properties of the paopu to ensure their loved ones would return. Another felt they should make a dish that could give them the warmth of home for one last time. And so, they put their heads together and created something that could give both. A crust so thin and crumbly, filled with the richest butter to sate their appetites. A smooth crème to cut the fat, and lastly topped with the tart soul-connecting fruit.
They say that even after the world changed and the stars in the sky grew in number, eating this tart brought their loved ones home even years later. And so we continue to make it as a send-off, a way to wish them a safe voyage home and remind them of the connection we share. We don’t use the paopu much anymore…but I like to sneak it in. Don’t tell anyone else, ok?”
***
Back then Kairi had giggled and found herself dreaming of what it would be like to create her own tart for someone she loved. And now was the perfect time to make that dream a reality. She licked her lips as she fumbled with the small slip of paper in her hand.
“I had forgotten about it—the recipe I mean. Until I remembered your name again. Somehow, I knew I’d see you again soon so—I asked your mom for it.” Kairi gingerly handed Sora the recipe and placed her hand over his. “I couldn’t find the right time to make it till now but…this time...”
Sora’s eyes were focused on her the whole time, searching her expression for the truth behind her eyes. He knew what she wanted to say and it made his heart flutter. “Let’s make it together since we’re leaving again. We can go say hi to everyone while we shop for ingredients!”
Kairi beamed. He always seemed to notice what she wanted to do even before she said the words. Hand in hand the two headed off to find all they needed.
***
Word got out fast around Destiny Islands. For a seafaring village, gossip and new arrivals were always the talk of the town, so Sora and Kairi’s return didn’t go unnoticed. Reunions abounded with familiar faces, some tearful and others filled with laughter as the two visited store after store hunting for ingredients. The pair even stopped by O’aka’s and ran into a bubbly Selphie who got in a few teasing comments.
“Here for some special ‘announcement’ to your parents before going off again?”
Kairi and Sora bashfully took a glance at one another—they had never told anyone how committed they were, yet Selphie already knew at a glance. Now wasn’t the time, but maybe someday they’d share everything with their families and friends.
As Kairi and Sora gathered their ingredients, a familiar pair of friends entered the shack with the loudest and cheeriest of greetings. Tidus and Wakka, although a bit taller, had hardly changed at all. Kairi admired how easily the two conversed with Sora as if no time had passed since he’d last been home. It was heartening to see how much of an impact he still had on their hearts. With a brisk goodbye and promise of a reunion, the two bid farewell to their friends.
Before leaving, Selphie slipped a grateful Kairi a bag of fruits. Inside shined a ripened paopu fruit. With a wink and a smile, a girl starving for the future juicy details wished her traveling friend good luck.
****
Kairi was reminded of Sora’s cooking skills immediately upon entering his mother’s kitchen. Although it had been years, the boy knew where everything was kept and didn’t miss a beat gathering the pots and pans they needed.
Joy filled his features as the two poured over his mother’s detailed recipe. Kairi could tell he was excited to use what he had learned from Remy on a dish all his own. Teasingly, she suggested that he should teach her a few skills along the way.
Sora got into the idea more than she expected and took on his own little chef role to guide her through the process. With every chop, sift, and stir, the klutzy boy from her memories was replaced by the image of a true chef.
The crack of a perfect egg by two and a whisk of sugar. The gentle click of a gaslit stove and a warm simmer of coconut milk slowly helped the pair gain a rhythm as they baked.
While the pastry crème chilled, the two made the puff pastry. Along the way, Kairi tossed a pinch of flour at Sora in a sudden fit of mischief, earning a teasing grin and a dash of flour to her own face. His laughter filled the air. It reminded Kairi of the wholeness she had felt back then cooking alongside Sora’s family in a home filled with laughter and love.
After the chopping of fruit and a couple of hours of reminiscing, the tart was complete. Or so Sora thought. Kairi insisted on adding one more special fruit. With an impish grin, she pulled out her secret ingredient, much to Sora’s heartfelt surprise.
Together, the two dotted the top of the tart with thin slices of paopu fruit.
***
Kairi and Sora arrived at the Play Island with a wicker picnic basket dangling between them. Gingerly, Sora hoisted Kairi up onto the paopu tree before taking his place beside her. The setting sun before them was a welcome sight—a perfect end to their last day on the islands. Tucked inside the basket was the tart, glistening like the evening sunset. Sora cut a slice for the two of them. He held up a slice to Kairi with a boyish grin, taunting her to take a bite.
An ache that had long persisted inside her heart faded away at the gesture. For over a year she couldn’t bring herself to visit the island—not until she brought Sora home. It was a fleeting dream come true to be here, with him, full and whole. Beaming, she held up her own slice—the two completing the ritual once more.
The taste of their shared tart was sweet and refreshing, the tang of the fruit juice filling their taste buds with the nostalgia of home and the sunset’s burst of light. Gone was the bittersweet memory of their last parting at the base of the paopu tree, replaced with the promise of a new beginning.
“You know, back at that Voyager’s Dinner—I was so happy you were there, Kairi. It felt like a piece I was missing had finally fallen into place,” Sora said, red kissing the tips of his ears.
Kairi leaned in and gave Sora a playful kiss. “Me too. I felt at home. You were all so welcoming, and it was like a part of me that was missing became whole. My home is with you Sora, now and forever.”
Sora interlaced their hands and smiled. “No matter where we go, or how far, our connection will bring us back—
“Safe and sound.” Kairi finished. A promise and a childhood wish were fulfilled against the fading horizon, a tried and true guarantee for a safe voyage.

Baizhu Snzfic (Part 1)
This is a repost from the sf forum (I have just discovered this side of Tumblr). Let me tell you, I did not care for Baizhu until I finished his story quest and oh. my. lord. 😳 I CANNOT get enough of this man!! He pushes through his chronic illness to save others, can share his life force with his patients, and even takes on their diseases? Like, come on 💕
Pairing: Baizhu x OC
Includes: cold, buildup, stifles, let out snzs
Art by SongJiKyo
"Master!"
*knock, knock, knock*
"Master Baizhu! Are you here? Master Baizhu!"
The voice came from the other side of the door, accompanied by a rushed knocking. Baizhu reluctantly opened his eyes, struggling to determine whether the knocking was in reality or his imagination. The warm, fading sunlight let him know that he had slept through the day and woke up around the golden hour right before the sunset. His head didn't hurt anymore, but it felt woozy and heavy like it was stuffed full of cotton. Baizhu cleared his throat and groggily asked the door: "Gui?"
"Yes! Master Baizhu, w-we have a patient who needs your help." Gui's voice sounded shaky.
Baizhu got up, feeling a wave of heat wash over his head, blurring the dark outlines of the back room of the pharmacy; then it was gone as quickly as it came. Baizhu blinked. His vision was clear again, and other than feeling terribly exhausted, he was quite alright.
----------
The patient was a young man in his late twenties. His bronze skin and long, dark hair exposed his origins to be from Sumeru, and his clothes were reminiscent of a traditional Akademiya gown, white and green with a gold trim, but their silhouette was inspired by the more practical clothes of the Adventurer's Guild. The man was lying on the floor, unconscious.
"He came in here asking for some herbs for his headache and dizziness. He said that he came from the mines in the Chasm..." Gui began to explain as Baizhu sat down next to the patient.
"He was awake and he seemed to be okay when we were talking, then he extended his hand towards me and started falling. I caught him right before he passed out." Gui hurriedly finished, extending his own hand as if reenacting what had happened.
Baizhu found the man's pulse — his heartbeat was within the normal range. Baizhu continued checking the man's vitals when the patient let out a small groan. His eyelids slowly opened and he lifted his head.
"Where... Uhh..." The man looked around and saw Baizhu. The man's eyes studied the doctor for a moment, gliding over his elegant facial structure before moving on to the reptilian pupils of his bright amber eyes hiding behind thin glasses, then to Baizhu's soft, long green hair gathered in a loose braid cascading down one of his shoulders. Finally, the man's gaze met a pair of big red eyes belonging to a white snake resting around the doctor's neck like a loose scarf.
"Doctor?" the man finally asked.
Baizhu smiled softly and sniffled. The contrast between the stale air of the back room and the crispy evening air coming through the open entrance of the pharmacy was making his nose itch. Baizhu cleared his throat. "Hello, I am Baizhu, a practitioner of medicine at Bubu Pharmacy. Can you tell me your name?" Baizhu's voice had its usual elegant and professional quality to it albeit sounding a little weary. The air outside was filled with the scents of late summer herbs, glaze lilies, and silk flowers. Mixing with his patient's musky, slightly sweet perfume, the scents were starting to get overwhelming for Baizhu's sensitive nose. The small tickle that started at the tip of his nose was now climbing up, and Baizhu sniffled again in an attempt to get rid of it.
"My name is Ehsan," said the man weakly, getting Baizhu's attention away from his nose. "I am a researcher from the Akademiya studying the effects of the Chasm on the surrounding area, living organisms, and...err its relation to the incident." He gave Baizhu a difficult to interpret look.
"Ahem... snf!.. Ehsan, what symptoms... snf!.. are you experiencing?" The tickle in Baizhu's nostrils was getting difficult to ignore. The doctor pressed the back of his hand firmly against the bridge of his nose. The itch went away for a moment only to come back even stronger.
"Well, you see, I am not a cartographer," Ehsan smiled sheepishly, exposing the dimples on his bronzed cheeks that reflected the soft golden glow of the setting sun. "I had the maps, but they were all made before the Chasm was closed, of course. I assume that the geological features of the caves have changed significantly since then, and so did the environment in the area. I got a little lost in the caves when I finally found something worth examining – a weird black ooze, like mud..."
Baizhu's nostrils twitched, and his mouth opened ever so slightly as his breath hitched. "Hiih..." Not now, concentrate! What do you know about the dark mud? It has to be related to the Abyss Order, probably highly toxic to humans... Baizhu's thoughts were interrupted as his breath wavered again, and he swiftly raised a gloved wrist to his mouth.
"It was pitch black and it had an unnatural purple glow. It felt… ominous..." Ehsan continued.
Baizhu pressed his nose firmly into the back of his hand, hoping to alleviate the persistent tickle that was now settled deep inside his nostrils. His chest rose as he took a long, shaky breath and his eyes glazed over.
"... and dizzy. The air was thin, and I felt short of breath. Then I felt a kind of a heat wave as I was going deeper, but..."
"Huuh...heh... Hh! Huh'KGT! Hh-Hh... Hh'NGxt! snf!.. ugh..." Baizhu suddenly turned away and ducked into his elbow, letting out two muffled yet forceful stifles that jerked his body forward. "Oh archons, I'm... snf!.. very sorry about that. It must be from all the scents outside, the flowers are in bloom this time of year," Baizhu explained.
"Oh, err... Bless you, doctor! As I was saying..."
Damn it, the itch was back, and now his nose was running like an opened faucet. Baizhu sniffled wetly and tried to concentrate on Ehsan's story.
"... and when I came here, the dizziness and nausea came back and suddenly I felt like I was back in the caves."
Damn it, damn it, damn it! Baizhu's nose was getting more irritated by the second, and the doctor felt another sneeze coming. Baizhu hurriedly fished out a silk handkerchief from his pocket and massaged his nostrils a little before turning away from the Sumeru scholar and blowing his nose as quietly as he could. The handkerchief quickly absorbed the moisture, but the massage seemed to only irritate Baizhu's sensitive nose, making him audibly gasp "Hiih!.."
"Dr. Baizhu?" Ehsan asked with a mix of worry and confusion in his voice.
"Hiih... Hih.. Hh.. Hh..." Baizhu felt paralyzed, embarrassed by being seen in this state by his patient and Gui (who was diligently writing down Ehsan's symptoms on his left), yet unable to regain control over his body. His breath kept hitching, and the itch in his nose was growing stronger and stronger until... "
"Hih... Hh.. Hh'nsSCH! Heh-heh-hh gk'SCHHH!" Baizhu turned away and pitched forward, muffling two more restrained sneezes into his elbow. The stifles seemed to irritate his nose even more, and the doctor could feel another fit coming up. Why, why does his body have to fall apart like that in front of his patient! Baizhu blinked through teary eyes and caught a glimpse of Ehsan's toned arms peeking through the cropped sleeves of his Akademiya gown. His skin looked smooth and tan against the thin white fabric. In the last rays of the setting sun, the man seemed almost ethereal as he gently brushed his thick glossy hair away from his face and tucked the unruly strands loosely behind his ear.
"Your condissshn..." began Changsheng, making Ehsan jerk away as he noticed the snake's glowing eyes staring right into his own, "...seems to be turbulent due to the toxic effectsss of the dark mud. Dr. Baizhu has to consult his books on this ssubsstance before prescribing an appropriate treatment."
Baizhu stopped dabbing the handkerchief at his eyes and took it away from his face, accidentally brushing the tip of his nose, which immediately caused it to twitch. "Ah, yes, of course... Ehsan, Gui, please excuse Changsheng and myself... snf!.. for a muh-moment." He shot both men a reassuring smile and quickly got up, trying not to sway as he did so. He calmly made his way to the back of the pharmacy. Once out of the sight of his patient and Gui, Baizhu darted out the door, greeted by a gust of chill air and gentle scents of glaze lilies that made his nose scrunch up as he drew a sharp breath.
"You're welcome!" Changsheng was tightening and loosening her grip as she moved her head to the other side of Baizhu's face which was growing red with embarrassment.
"Th... Hiih... Thank you," he breathed out and heavily dropped his weight onto the railing of the wooden terrace outside of the pharmacy.
"You know, you don't alwaysss have to be so ssstrong for everybody," Changsheng said calmly. "Gui is quite capable of taking care of the patients, and Qiqi can take over making the medicines."
"Hiihh... Hh-Hh!.. Hh-GGKX'schh! Hh-eKSCHh! Hh.. Heh..." Baizhu took a step back away from the railing, then jerked forward muffling another strong double into the crook of his arm. His elbow was now glistening from tiny droplets of moisture, and Baizhu winced at the sight of it. His long green braid fell over his shoulder and was now slowly rocking in the air as the doctor was trying to regain his composure.
"And you know, I don't sss-think it's just your "condition". I ss-think you had exhausted your life force so much that you caught a cold as your body's defenses dropped... And be more careful for Rex Lapis' sake, you almost got me!" Changsheng lifted her head to get out of the way of Baizhu's trembling arm that was still covering his face.
"I'm... Hiih... Sorry... Hh... Hh... I can't help it..." He looked up at the evening sky feeling defeated, his breath hitching uncontrollably as his eyebrows darted up again.
"Hiih-eeKSCHhh!" He stifled another sneeze into his elbow, stumbling from its force.
"And I doubt your patient can hear you through the walls, so perhaps you could stop threatening my existence with your attempts to save face?!" Changsheng's coils loosened around the doctor's neck as she slithered down and settled around his chest.
"I... Heh..." Baizhu didn't have time to think about her request as he took a deep breath tilting his head up and jolted forward, his arms still raised in the air helplessly.
"Hiih'IISSSHeww! Hih... Hh-IISSHiuu! Heh... Heh... Hh'eeSCH'ah! EeSCHH! EeSCHh! EeSCHuh! Heh... Ugh... snrf!.." Baizhu blinked a couple of times and grabbed his stomach, bursting into a violent coughing fit that sounded painful.
"What did I tell you? You need to take care of your body and let it do its job trying to heal itself. Go on, get it out before we can go back and save your ssweet ssscholar boy." Changsheng's voice changed intonation in the end, teasing Baizhu's fragile ego.
"Huh-Hh!...... Ugh..." Baizhu shook his head, trying to scratch the itch still burning deep inside his nose. Being able to sneeze openly helped alleviate the tension a little, and he felt light-headed from the fit. Baizhu blew his nose, making a wet sound, and grabbed the terrace railing.
"Maybe you are right," he finally said, disregarding her sassy remark. "Maybe... snrrf! snf!.. I could take a day off once in a while..." Baizhu looked at the scarce stars that were starting to appear in the sky, still light blue and feathered with thin airy clouds. He sniffled again, trying to locate the cause of the itch in his nostrils, then rubbed the bridge of his nose forcefully. The vibration seemed to make the itch worse, and Baizhu squinted at the sky, filling his lungs with air as he lunged against the railing, gripping it with both hands as if his life depended on it.
"Hh... Heh... Eeh'sSCHew! EeSCHHh'iuu! EeSCH! EeSCHh! Uh... Huh... Hh-Hh! Hh'EeeTSCHEW!! *cough* *cough* heh... Hh! Hh-eKSCHH-iuuu!!" Baizhu sniffled and straightened his arms, his shoulders still shaking with tension. He blew his nose into his damp handkerchief, rendering it useless, and slumped over the railing, exhausted.
"All better?" Changsheng asked cautiously, struggling to get a good grip on the doctor's chest.
"Yeah... snrf!.. Yes, you can come back now." Baizhu let out an audible sigh. "Well, apart from the doctor looking like an absolute mess..." – he opened his arms inviting the snake to assess his sorry state, his green hair spilled out from his braid and caught by an evening gust of wind, his glasses hanging from one of his hands limply, – "...at least we know what is wrong with the patient."
Changsheng gave the doctor a curious look.
"He just needs some rest," Baizhu coughed and smiled at the snake, readjusting the glasses on his face and giving his nostrils one last rub, making sure the awful itch was gone for good. "And the herbs to help the poison leave his body before it does any lasting damage *cough*"
----------
Bubu Pharmacy was illuminated by the warm light of the lamps lit by Gui when Baizhu stepped back inside.
"Master Baizhu! Are you alright?" Gui asked, studying the doctor's face quizzically.
Baizhu cleared his throat. "I apologize for my absence, but I assure you that there is nothing to worry about. It's just some chronic problem I have flaring up again, I simply need a little rest and I'll be good as new." He smiled, trying to make his voice sound calm and nonchalant despite getting raspy.
"My dear Ehsan, I have good news... *cough* The poison from the dark mud of the Chasm can only affect you while you are in its proximity. However, prolonged exposure to its toxic fumes can slow down your recovery time. You should start feeling better within a couple of days, but I’m afraid you’ll have to postpone any further explorations until you are fully recovered. Meanwhile, I will have Gui bring you some medicine to help with your symptoms."
The Sumeru scholar was now sitting in a chair holding a cup of tea, the rising steam swirling in front of his face, his dusty adventuring backpack propped against the counter. His dark eyes reflected the dancing flames of the lamps, emanating a warm glow. He smiled gently, mimicking Baizhu's soft smile, which made the doctor blush as he cleared his throat again.
"Thank you, Dr. Baizhu! I appreciate your dedication to your patients and the fact that you are helping me despite your... umm... condition..." Ehsan stumbled trying to find the right word, sending a jolt of electricity through Baizhu's body as the doctor questioned the thickness of the pharmacy walls. Baizhu coughed and smiled, shaking off the embarrassment.
"I tend to anyone who comes to Bubu Pharmacy seeking medical attention," he said softly. "I treat all of my patients fairly, and I do my best to heal them. You needn’t worry about me; if anything, I would be worried about being more careful next time you venture into the Chasm – it is a very dangerous place, after all." Baizhu met Ehsan's eyes and smiled, his gaze lingering a little longer before sliding down the scholar's strong jawline and long neck. "However, as you have kindly noticed, I have indeed been working overtime lately and might benefit from a short break. You are free to stay in one of the patient rooms here until you feel better or continue your treatment at home." Baizhu's voice sounded confident and professional, dropping ever so slightly as he invited the Sumeru scholar to stay over.
"Thank you, Dr. Baizhu. I would hate to discomfort you tonight, but I would be delighted to see you again in a couple of days to, err, assess my condition when you are feeling better."
Baizhu cleared his throat and sniffled, nodding as his cheeks flushed again. The yellow light and the warmth of the room were getting to Baizhu as Gui went to get the herbs for Ehsan's medicine. Baizhu's head lowered and he closed his eyes, but was snatched away from his slumber by Changsheng's tail flicking his neck from behind, which made Ehsan chuckle. Baizhu gasped, blinked, and muttered a quick apology before retreating into the back of the pharmacy and collapsing on his bed, falling asleep as soon as his head hit the soft pillows.

Fathers day headcanons
❤️Bobby's father comes over to her house every Father's day, they bake cookies, catch up over tea, do art's and crafts, really anything that they feel like doing
💡Bubba is always excited that he gets to hang out with two dads, his bio dad and his adoptive dad. these three vary on the activities they do together. weither it's going to the park, on an adventure, or just the two dad's hearing about their sons special intrest of the week
🍎 Father daughter picnic all the way. Picky brings the lnch and her father supplies the sweets (Fun fact: Picky's father knows Kickin as he used to come into the backery as young chick and sometimes he would let him decorate the cookies, infact it wouldn't be unusaul for Picky's dad to leave a box of cookies on Kickins doorstep). Picky knows this and would also leave a sandwhich for Kickin as well
🌺 They like to paint murals on the catsle walls every father's day, once the inside is done they'll paint the outside
☀️Dog day doesn't really spend Father's day doing anything special, he may go out for a walk but remains in good spirits during fathers day
🌙 Stays at his house but unlike mother's day he will climb onto the roof and sun bathe there or wave at the other critters below.
⭐ Kickin makes the long journey back his childhood home, it's long abandoned and falling apart. Nonetheless Kickin goes inside and makes his way to his faded and dirty childhood bedroom. He cleans it up and sets up a bed in the corner, sitting there and laying there with his teddy bear, Jet, until the day is over.
⚡Mother/Fathers day are the only days were she really wears clothes (aside from light sports jerseys on the occasion). Hoppy has vestiphobia but can tolerate it for a few hours to a day. She wears more masculine clothing, typically a sweater and jeans. The only contact she'll have with her father is a phone call asking house his "big strong boy" is doing. Hoppy just plays along until it's over. If she does go out on Father's it's usually with her siblings. Another tradition of hero's is too take a picture of herself in the clothes and send it to her father

💕 Happy Valentines Day You beloved Whores!! 💞 (I'm kidding you ain't hoes WHB MC is-)
Anyways got a bunch of art to dump on you but until then here's another Mirjami Fact
Mirjami Fact 7: Mirjami actually isn't a sexual person/porn expert.
So this goes without saying since we're trying to distance ourselves from the cum slut degenerate that is WHB MC but Mirjami isn't actually a porn addict/super sexual person.
Given she was born in an Arab/Israeli family and raised with Greek parents she is very traditional and modest and I believe she didn't explore her sexuality and preferences until later on. Now since she's Solomon's Descendant I imagine she had a super high libido and sex drive but it sort of was bottled up or kept quiet until she got married. Like she felt restless and horny but she always just thought it meant she needed to keep herself busy hence why she worked so hard at the Gas Station.
Once she started dating Ahmed (her ex-husband) however and they had sex it sort of opened Pandora's Box where she was pretty all over the place mistaking their sex as love and wanting to "love all over" Ahmed which he didn't really like because he wasn't as sexual as her. When they separated Mirjami was devastated and it led to her being a bit more ashamed of her sexual wants which she bottled up again to focus on Munira and Her job.
But then why was she at Minhyeok's house catching viruses on his computer?
It's really simple; Mirjami feels uncomfortable searching up inappropriate things at her home. I imagine when she gave birth to Munira she put a child lock on her computer and doesn't know how to take it off so she'd go to Minhyeok's to research things. I imagine she once clicked on a link for porn vids and she's been secretly exploring like a curious 12 year old when no one's around.
Minhyeok doesn't mention it because he knows Mirjami's repressed and her curious searches sort of fade in the background when Satan blows her back out for the first time.
But yeah Mirjami's not sexual she's just a messy repressed adult (ಥ ͜ʖಥ)
( Also she never had a chance to explore her sexuality so with this adventure she's also figuring out if she's straight or not )

Species of Pamyst - Elves, Part 2: Barkborne
What's wrong with hugging a tree?
The Shillara, known to the common tongue as the Barkborne, are often seen as “true” Elves. They are the longest lived, hold a unique affinity for the natural world deeper than any other species, and are typically associated with an aloof disposition past their first century or two of life. Barkborne are mythologically thought to be those that upheld L’ancien Accord and thus retained Prudencia’s blessings on the material plane - an aspect that may explain their reclusive natures. In practice, they often spend their youth metaphorically or literally adventuring before retiring into a quieter life spent mastering discovered passions, though some instead choose to simply reinvent themselves every few decades and try out new careers and identities.
Barkborne are a somewhat divisive people in Pholodelasian culture. Most Barkborne are not especially arrogant despite common stereotyping, but rather find difficulty reconciling their considerable lifespans and naturalistic connections with the hustle and bustle of shorter-lived species’ societies and so often choose to withdraw from them in favor of smaller and more peaceful environments. Many cannot truly grasp the viewpoints of beings often older than their own societies and so may misinterpret blunt wisdom as conceit. The most famous Barkborne society on the continent, the ancient Queendom of Eden, does little to dispel this notion with their infamous decadence and egos as meticulously constructed as their wondrous works of art. Barkborne often greatly enjoy others’ company - so long as they can tolerate their wisened worldviews, if not understand them.
Physically, Barkborne tend to be the shortest of the various elves in contrast to their much longer lifespans, standing between 5 ½ and 7 feet tall. Their appearance is often reflective of the environments they were born in, such as rich green hair and brown skin like trees of a forest, ashen whites and pale blondes along chalky shorelines, or deep tans and reds like rusted desert rocks. These colors are often more vibrant and distinctive than species of similar appearances, though some more subdued instances may leave them looking remarkably close to humanoids of similar roots. Their mannerisms are similarly informed by the wildlife they’re exposed to at young ages, and particularly while tapping into their natural gifts to directly speak with animals.
If you want to use Barkborne Elves in your DND games, they are reflected mechanically below - note that Pamyst species are balanced against each other and are considerably more powerful than traditional 5e offerings!
Age. Barkborne are easily the longest lived elves, averaging a full 1000 years.
Size. Barkborne are notably tall compared to humans but are among the shorter elves, averaging 5 ½ -7 feet. Your size is Medium or Small.
Naturalist: You gain proficiency in the Nature skill.
Tongue of Nature. Barkborne have an inherent link to nature and its inhabitants. At 1st level, you learn the Druidcraft cantrip. Beginning at 3rd level, you are always under the effects of the Speak With Animals spell. At 5th level, you also gain the effects of the Speak With Plants spell.
Fade Away. Barkborne are naturally adept at avoiding unwanted notice. You also learn the Invisibility and Pass Without Trace spells at 5th Level, and can cast one or the other without expending a spell slot once per long rest.
Suggested bonuses: +2 WIS, +1 DEX

The Furthur Bus first took off June 14, 1964, at 3 PM
Many people have the misconceptions that June 17th,1964 is the day the Furthur Bus first left for its world changing journey to New York and back but George Walker once told me he recalls they left La Honda on June 14, 1964, about 3 PM. First stop, on Kesey’s bridge, out of gas! Made it about 100 feet! Lol
"Furthur: The Bus Then & Now
In the 60s
In 1964, Ken Kesey and his group of “Merry Pranksters,” fueled by LSD and a free-wheeling spirit of adventure, painted a 1939 International Harvester school bus in DayGlo colors and piloted it across the US on a trip that would go down in history as a cultural milestone. The bus, dubbed “Further” (or “Furthur,” varying by day and mood), was purchased largely with Ken’s earnings from the publication of his best-selling novel, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. Tom Wolfe’s popular 1968 account of the trip and the bus, The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test, would go on to cement Furthur and the Pranksters as cultural icons signaling broad changes in American society.
What it Represents
More than any other work of art, the bus represents the sweeping changes that came over the country in the 60s. As people began to question traditional values and means of expression, Furthur stood as a highly visible representation of a new brand of American freedom. In a highly positive and meaningful way, its whimsical character became a metaphor for a new brand of psychedelic exploration. While the Pranksters, themselves, bridged the gap between the Beats and Hippies, the bus was a physical manifestation of the idea of a psychedelic trip.
Furthur’s Decline
By the late 1960s, the original Furthur began to fall into disrepair. By that time, Ken had returned to Oregon, where he raised his family, continued to write, and taught at the University of Oregon. While a second version of Furthur (not “Furthur 2”) was created in the late 1980s, the original bus was resigned to the “swamp,” a wet, low-lying area behind the Kesey family farm. Overgrown by weeds and surrendered to the wild, the bus remained in the swamp till October 2005, when a group of about 30 Pranksters, family, and devoted fans cut away the blackberry vines and trees that had overtaken it and pulled it free. During its time unprotected in the outdoors, Furthur largely rusted away. The interior rotted, and the once-beautiful exterior art faded nearly completely away."

ok dianthe backstory done she's also long RIP
Before Dianthe Parvenus was even a glimmer in her parents’ eyes, the Parvenus line started with her great-great grandfather, Theron, and his pact with the devil Mephistopheles. A poor man with no money and no last name, Theron did the unspeakable when he sold his immortal soul for money and influence. Thrust into Balduran nobility practically overnight, Theron took on the surname Parvenus to pass onto his newfound lineage.
Fool enough to make a deal but not fool enough to make a pact, Theron used his wealth to become an accomplished wizard. He passed the importance of magic and power down to his only son, Theron Parvenus II, whom he pressured into learning the arcane arts. Passing on the name as well as the expectation that each Parvenus patriarch be a master wizard became tradition. In the latter half of 15th century DR, Theron IV still carried that torch—somewhat.
By this point, the Parvenus line was hemorrhaging gold. Theron III had a bad habit of gambling and throwing money at his problems. Such an attitude lead the third Parvenus patriarch to die at the hands of particularly aggressive loansharks. However, it was his son, Theron IV, and his business prowess that saved the family name from going broke. At twenty, he used what was left of the money to start a business in the importing of spell components and magical items for low key, discerning customers. The idea made enough money to save their social standing as well as secure a marriage that eventually produced three children, Dianthe being the last.
Her elder siblings, Evander and Aurelia, were enrolled in an arcane academy young so as to build skill early. While their father was an accomplished wizard himself, he had a business to run and was simply too busy to teach them as his father had taught him and his father before and so on. Because of this, he pressured them to do well and exceed his own high expectations. When Evander and Aurelia were 8 and 7 respectively, their younger sister Dianthe was born, and sent the entire Parvenus family into chaos.
Born with blue skin and a pointed tail, it was said her mother died of shock right there on the bed when she was placed in her arms. Not long after the funeral did Theron IV find evidence of his great-grandfather's deal, with his youngest child being further proof that the Parvenus name was built on lies and fiendish magic.
Growing up, Dianthe wasn't treated terribly unfairly, but her father's expectations were higher than that of her siblings. She was always expected to sit straighter than Evander, or speak softer than Aurelia. She hated drawing attention to herself to avoid her father’s critical eye and did anything she could to fade into the background. She filled her time reading books about adventurers and far off places, a hobby that would keep her company growing up in her lonelier years.
Her siblings half-resented her for taking their mother away from them and it was clear in her father's eyes that he had his own complicated feelings about her. The only time they seemed to get along like a family was after dinner, when her brother and sister would show off the new spells they learned (a requirement from their father to keep up with their studies). Their magic had always entranced Dianthe and when the time came for her to start attending, she had to beg and plead her father to let her. At age eight, he finally relented by acquiring a private tutor for her.
Within an hour of her first day of class, the man ran out of their estate with fire clinging to his clothes, cursing the family’s name. This was when the wild magic that had laid dormant for nearly a decade showed itself, causing even more chaos for the family. No spell Dianthe cast was without consequence, whether it be fire, a temporary beard made of feathers, or becoming a polymorphed sheep. It was clear that she was a sorcerer with magic she couldn't control, no matter how dedicated to her studies she would be.
With her siblings excelling in their magic and Dianthe left behind as the black sheep of the family, she did everything she could to prove she was still useful to them. She poured herself into arcane theory in an attempt to study her own magic, as well as developing a keen knack for matters of money by listening in on her father's business dealings. She did well in ways she could get her hands on things, being able to accurately price any of the magic items coming in and out of her father's business and even pointing out errors in his ledgers (always with a polite, even tone). In fact, she did so well with finances that her father had discussed using her talents in the business officially, telling her that even if she could not match Evander and Aurelia in matters of magic, her mind could still be put to good use. She figured this was as good as it was going to get. At twenty-three, Dianthe began doing the books for the family business.
For the first time possibly ever, Dianthe felt like she earned her place in her family. During this time of unprecedented good luck, she became acquainted with a young nobleman named Malion Blackwell. He was an artist from a family of artists and the two quickly fell in love. He proclaimed Dianthe his muse and the attention was everything she ever wanted. For every portrait he did of her, she would shower him in gifts for she had no artistic talents to give back. Expensive paints, custom-made canvases, the works; Malion got as much supplies from her as Dianthe got adoration from him.
When discussion of who the family business would go to in the event of Theron IV’s death, Dianthe was sure she would be prioritized. She had done so well with the finances that they were actually saving money, as she had developed better trade relations than her father ever had. She excitedly told Malion of her prospects and the very next week he had a ring. It was no question that she said yes.
A week after that, Theron fell ill. A month later he was dead. The family business was left in Evander’s hands.
Dianthe seethed. She had never been this angry before. She had worked hard for the one thing she thought she was owed in her life, if not her family’s love then the business she helped shape. She would have thought her money-minded father would have at least realized that. She had more financial know-how in her little finger than her older brother had in his entire head. It was with this idea, and with bitter regret, that twenty-six year old Dianthe took the inheritance she had and left the family. She found herself a modest apartment in the Lower City with dreams of starting her own financial practice.
Malion did not share her dreams, and broke off their engagement and left her. Dianthe was devastated, now lonelier than ever, but managed to push through on her new dream. She began advertising herself specifically to adventurers, as she had come to know through visits to the Elf Song that most groups of heroes weren’t very financially savvy. For six years she worked and made the acquaintance of many a would-be adventurer, sometimes trading financial advice for stories of their conquests. Such stories eventually inspired her to perhaps follow the books of her youth and try her own hand at it. She had a little magic—that she was loathe to use, sure—but one didn’t need magic to adventure.
Little was she to know that on the day an illithid nautiloid passed over Baldur’s Gate, she would need more than just her innate, tangled knot of Weave to survive what adventure was to come.

Feitheran anatomy concept sketches + teenage Norda
So I wanted to try differentiating the anatomy of feitherans and humans a bit, b/c I felt they had kind of human body plans.
Their torsos are longer than a humans, but the long necks were quasi canon IIRC (I may have exagerrated them slightly). the legs are also slightly shorter and digitigrade. I looked at a T-rex leg and some eagle talons before drawing them.
I wanted full-Feitheran wings to look different from Norda's.
I gave feitherans a third segment of wing (because birds wings have the humerus, then the forearm, then the part that is the bones that are a hand on a human). they have hands too, which *shrug* on how that would work evolutionarily. I'm thinking of archaeopteryx (link) with the slight hand like bits. Due to this anyway they have less mobility in their hands than humans do.
Norda has human mobility in hiss hands, because well he does in the comics :P and is half human. but since his wings are less optimized for flying than a full-feitheran's (shorter wings, they only have 2 segments, his shoulder girdle is closer to his ribcage), it takes him more physical effort to stay in the air.
and bonus: norda's mom telling him he shouldn't hang out with the dudes who nearly crashed a plane into the whitehouse. IIRC Teenage norda did not ask his mom for permission to hang out with the other infinity incers and they didnt hang out again until the comic started but w/e :P I wanted to draw them

Any kid head canons for obikonan
I don't think they'd have any kids but on the off chance what are your head canons?
Ngl I've been waiting for someone to ask me about ObiKonan XD
(The hashtag "Under the Influence" contains all ObiKona headcanons/thoughts/even two fanarts and hopefully with many more art to come once I have more time)
I never really thought of their kids because they're the type to have an insanely hot sexual relationship, but if they were to have kids, here's what I've got in mind:
--
-They would have a son; and their son would inherit Obito's black hair or maybe a darker, mkre faded shade of purple, but he would have his mother's copper eyes and round face.
-Their child is aloof and reserved unless he knows the person well enough, which makes him very selective about who he chooses as his companion, and is also very calculative and intelligent. His smiles would only show to the closest ones around him, and that would be his mother and father, and Nagato (if Nagato is alright with Obito and Konan's relationship lmao)
-Konan's pregnancy would in fact bring her and Obito even closer to each other, because they never imagined that the two of them would ever raise a child together. Their son is the most precious person to them in a world that has taken a lot away; and luckily, his parents are one of the most powerful shinobis who would easily protect him.
-Their son would be very skilled with a sword and chain just like his father, and would learn some of his mother's potent paper techniques and use them strategically (stealthily), along with traditional Uchiha techniques for more offensive, lethal blows.
-Their son awakening the Sharingan is rather questionable, given that it usually requires intense emotion for the bloodline limit to kick in, and their son tends to be less emotional and more logical and levelheaded even in crucial situations. It would take a lot to trigger a powerful emotional response, which is something he struggles with because he is not very attached to "temporary bonds", so the concept of Obito's bloodline limit is hard for him to understand.
-This does not mean their son has no emotion or a sense of sentiment, he rather expresses his emotions privately through poetry - specifically haiku. He keeps a scroll with him that he takes everywhere during his adventures as a wandering shinobi, and it would be like a journal where he would write his thoughts and feelings in the format of Japanese poetry.
-Speaking of bonds, his deepest bonds are with Obito and Konan. Their son is a family man; he would always try to find something that would make his parents happy. As a child, he'd fold origami just to impress Konan, and he would always look forward to training with his father Obito. As a grown up, whenever he's adventuring, he'd ensure to stay in touch with his parents and even send them presents every now and then. He looks up to Obito very much as a role model shinobi, and he is very protective of Konan, even when he knows Konan does not need any protection. He is not verbal about his affections, but he tends to show it with the smallest actions.
-Their son is very sharp and observant; he is able to easily detect things that are out of order even in the slightest, which is a quality that makes him a very dangerous man.
-One ironic thing that he somewhat "inherited" from Obito is "playing games with the enemy" before delivering a lethal blow. He'd throw the enemy off with riddles, and rile them up by being condescending, before striking them down at the right moment.
-Their son's grown up outfit would be a sleeveless tight shirt, and he would wear a cloak with high collars over his outfit, a tie-in to his Uchiha blood.
-When it comes to favorite foods, luckily he is not much of a picky eater, however he prefers not to eat anything pickled.
~~
That's all for now! Feel free to share your own headcanons about ObiKonan and spread the (hot) love!

Not everyone who successfully impacts the hearts and minds of one generation will carry that currency of influence into the generations that follow. But the continued success of Cosmos, Carl Sagan’s magnum opus, argues strongly for Carl’s affability and intelligence. But it also reveals a hidden hunger in us all to learn about our place in the universe and embrace why it matters intellectually, culturally, and emotionally.
These properties distinguish the work of Carl Sagan and his collaborators from all other efforts to communicate science. Most good books in the genre teach you what to know in the author’s field of expertise—what’s hot, what’s interesting—in clear and simple language. But rarely is that information shaped into knowledge. And even more rarely is that knowledge shaped into wonder; the foundation of a cosmos perspective on the world. Dare I assert that Cosmos wielded this power in ways that profoundly influenced how we would observe, interpret, and conduct our lives.
One of the least noted facts about Cosmos, but perhaps the most significant of its gifts to human culture, is how it repeatedly cross-pollinated the traditional sciences—astronomy, biology, chemistry, and geology. When taken separately, these fields are each noble and time-honored. But when taken together—when Cosmos wove them into a tapestry of insight on our place in the universe—their juxtaposition became potent and indelible. Cosmos was early, if not first in this endeavor. In the decades that followed its publication, we would see the rise of hybrid fields of study such as astrobiology, astro-particle physics, astro-chemistry, planetary geology—some still donning their hyphens.
But the publication and best-selling success of Cosmos accomplished much more than this. The book’s treatment of scientific topics was persistently blended with other traditional fields of study, such as history, anthropology, art, and philosophy. Revealing for the first time how and why readers should embrace all the ways that science matters in our culture.
At the time, there was nothing fresher, more uplifting, or more empowering than the themes and messages of Cosmos. Perhaps for the first time in any medium, the person teaching you science—Carl Sagan—cared about the tangled mental roadways that can rob a person of rational thought. His motif was to speak with you, not lecture at you. With that level of pedagogical comfort, millions of people around the world invited his television image into their living rooms and his printed words into their reading chairs.
When Cosmos first arrived in 1980, the arms race of the Cold War was fading, but nonetheless continued to hold hostage the world’s nations with a nuclear arsenal of destructive powers derived from the minds of physicists. But exploration was not without hope. NASA had already landed Viking on Mars, seven years after we walked on Moon. And the twin Voyager space probes continued their flyby-tour of the Jovian planets, on their way out of the Solar System altogether. All headline news. But much more was to come. The Space Shuttle had not yet flown. The International Space Station existed only on paper. The Hubble Space Telescope was eleven years from launch. The first exoplanets—worlds orbiting suns other than our own—were fifteen years from detection. The World Wide Web was still a decade away from becoming a household utility, democratizing access to cosmic discovery. And dozens more space missions would launch and arrive at their respective destinations.
In a field that moves as rapidly as astrophysics, one would think it impossible to write a timeless tract on it. But within Cosmos you’re never focused on the bleeding edge of science. That comes and goes. You’re instead treated to what the epic adventure of scientific inquiry means to Earth, to our species—to you. And that recipe works at any time, in any place, for any generation.
By Neil deGrasse Tyson
From Cosmos by Carl Sagan.

Gradient Nail Art Ideas You’ll Wish to Try
Gradient nails, also known as ombré nails, are a stunning way to incorporate multiple colors into a single nail design.
The smooth transition from one color to another creates a sophisticated and eye-catching look that works for any occasion, from casual outings to formal events. If you’re looking for new and exciting ways to experiment with gradient nails, here are some ideas you'll definitely want to try!
1. Classic Pink to White Ombre
The pink-to-white gradient is a timeless and elegant design that never goes out of style. Start with a soft pastel pink near the base of your nails and gradually blend into a crisp white at the tips. This look is perfect for brides, springtime, or anyone who loves a feminine and delicate aesthetic.
Tip: To make it even more chic, add a layer of shimmer on top for a sparkly finish!
2. Bold Neon Gradient
If you’re feeling adventurous, a neon gradient is the way to go. Choose a mix of vibrant colors like electric blue, hot pink, and lime green. The intensity of the neon hues creates a striking effect that’s perfect for a summer festival or night out. For added drama, you can create the gradient effect with a sponge for a flawless blend.
Tip: Neon colors work best on a white or neutral base, as they pop more vibrantly against lighter shades.
3. Sunset Gradient
Capture the beauty of a sunset with a warm gradient that transitions from fiery oranges to pinks and purples. This design is perfect for fall or for anyone who loves warm tones. The key to making a sunset gradient pop is blending the colors seamlessly so that they transition smoothly from one to the next.
Tip: Use a fine brush to create a sunburst effect at the cuticle for added dimension.
4. Metallic Ombre
For a futuristic and chic twist, go for a metallic gradient. Choose shimmering gold, silver, or rose gold to create a look that feels luxe and glamorous. The shiny metallics catch the light in different ways, giving your nails a reflective, multi-dimensional look.
Tip: Pair metallic gradient nails with a matte top coat for an edgy contrast between the shine and softness.
5. Pastel Rainbow Ombre
If you can’t decide on just one pastel color, why not use them all? A pastel rainbow gradient features soft hues like baby blue, mint green, lavender, and peach that gradually transition from one to another. This playful design is perfect for spring or for adding a fun pop of color to any outfit.
Tip: Make sure to blend the colors lightly so they flow together beautifully, avoiding any harsh lines.
6. French Gradient
A modern twist on the classic French manicure, the French gradient features a soft color fade from the base of the nail to the tip. You can opt for a traditional white gradient or experiment with shades like lavender, light pink, or even metallics for a sophisticated yet edgy take on the look.
Tip: This design is perfect for work or formal events, as it’s subtle yet stylish.
7. Black and White Ombre
If you're into minimalist designs, a black and white gradient is sleek and bold. The transition from pure black at the cuticle to white at the tip creates a sharp, striking contrast that works well with any outfit. This look is perfect for anyone who loves modern, monochromatic styles.
Tip: To enhance the gradient, use a sponge to gently blend the colors at the nail tip.
8. Glitter Ombre
Add some sparkle to your gradient nails by incorporating glitter into the mix. Start with your desired base color, then apply glitter from the middle to the tips of the nails, creating a soft transition from matte to sparkly. This design is perfect for a night out, a holiday party, or any occasion where you want to shine!
Tip: Try using holographic or iridescent glitter for a multi-dimensional effect that catches the light beautifully.
9. Floral Gradient
For a romantic twist, combine your gradient design with delicate floral nail art. You can start with a soft gradient base, and then add hand-painted flowers or decals for a feminine touch. The flowers can be simple and small, or you can go all out with a larger, more intricate design.
Tip: Use a fine brush to paint small flowers along the gradient to keep the look soft and graceful.
10. Neon with Black Tips
Combine bold neon shades with black tips for a striking gradient design that has a punk-inspired flair. Start with your neon shades at the base of your nails and blend them into a darker color, like black, at the tips. This combination is bold, edgy, and perfect for anyone who wants a unique, daring look.
Tip: Use a fine brush to carefully apply the black at the tips for precision.
11. Frosted Gradient
For a winter-inspired gradient, try a frosted gradient with cool tones like icy blues, whites, and silvers. This design mimics the beauty of winter frost and snowflakes, and the gradient gives it an ethereal, frosty look. It’s perfect for the colder months or a chic winter celebration.
Tip: Add a touch of shimmer or glitter for a frosty sparkle effect.
How to Achieve the Perfect Gradient
Achieving a flawless gradient can be tricky, but with the right tools and technique, you can master this art! Here’s how:
Prepare Your Nails: Start by cleaning and trimming your nails, and apply a base coat to protect them from staining.
Choose Your Colors: Select two or more colors that complement each other. Ensure that they blend well together for a seamless gradient effect.
Apply the Base Color: Apply the lightest color to your nails as the base and let it dry completely.
Create the Gradient: Use a makeup sponge or a nail art sponge to apply the darker color at the tips of your nails. Dab the sponge on your nails, gradually working your way towards the cuticle for a smooth transition.
Blend the Colors: Gently dab the sponge on your nails to blend the colors together for a seamless effect. You can repeat the process to intensify the gradient.
Seal the Look: Finish with a clear topcoat to lock in the design and add shine.
Conclusion
Gradient nails are an easy and stylish way to express your creativity. Whether you prefer soft pastels, bold neons, or metallic hues, there’s a gradient nail design for everyone. With these gradient nail art ideas, you’re sure to find a style that fits your personality and occasion, and they’re guaranteed to make your nails the center of attention!

Artifacts for Home: Adding Character and Charm to Your Living Space
In the realm of interior design, the term "artifacts" conjures images of unique and timeless pieces that elevate a home's aesthetic appeal. Artifacts for home are not just decorations; they are symbols of personal style, memories, and cultural influences. Whether antique or contemporary, these items have the power to transform a living space into a haven of character and charm.
Antique Furniture: One of the most captivating ways to infuse history into your home is through antique furniture. A well-chosen piece, such as a vintage chest, a weathered bookshelf, or a classic rocking chair, can instantly transport your living space to a different era. The rich textures and craftsmanship of antique furniture add a touch of nostalgia and authenticity to your home.
Handcrafted Artwork: Artifacts for home can also take the form of handcrafted artwork. From handmade tapestries to intricate pottery, these pieces carry the soulful touch of the artisans who created them. Incorporating such items into your decor not only supports local craftsmanship but also brings a sense of uniqueness and individuality to your home.
Cultural Souvenirs: Traveling is a journey of discovery, and the artifacts collected along the way can become cherished additions to your home. Displaying cultural souvenirs, such as masks, sculptures, or textiles, not only serves as a reminder of your adventures but also adds a global flair to your living space. Each piece tells a story, sparking conversations and creating a home that reflects your worldly experiences.
Vintage Wall Art: Walls are like blank canvases waiting to be adorned with stories. Vintage wall art, whether it's an old map, a faded poster, or a collection of framed family photographs, can turn your walls into a visual narrative. Mix and match different styles and eras to create a gallery wall that is uniquely yours.
Heirloom Textiles: Blankets, quilts, and rugs passed down through generations carry a sense of history and familial connection. Incorporating heirloom textiles into your home not only adds warmth but also preserves and honors the traditions of your family. These pieces become not just artifacts but also tangible links to your heritage.
Repurposed Objects: Embracing the beauty of repurposed objects is a sustainable and creative way to decorate your home. Whether it's turning an old ladder into a bookshelf or transforming wine crates into storage units, repurposed artifacts bring a sense of resourcefulness and innovation to your living space.
In conclusion,
Artifacts for Home Decor are more than mere decorations—they are statements of identity and taste. By carefully selecting and integrating these pieces into your living space, you can create a home that tells your story and invites others to share in the rich tapestry of your life. Whether you choose antique furniture, handcrafted artwork, cultural souvenirs, vintage wall art, heirloom textiles, or repurposed objects, each artifact contributes to the overall character and charm of your home, making it a truly unique and welcoming sanctuary.
