so i made him to fit in a story with some friends (@razatronz @gilyoungroach @seypia @nikogane) yippie i love having friends and i love voltron and i love having fun!!!

Marb so far:

- His actual name is Mypvsarbb (his parents might’ve hated him idk)🪪

- His younger brother Dazz (@razatronz’s oc) came up with the nickname Marb, and that’s what he goes by🧍‍♂️🧍

- He has a twin sister called Ari (a much normaler name, which supports the ‘his parents hated him’ theory)👯

- He’s altean, and his facemarks are green because of a rare genetic disorder ❇️

- He’s the yellow paladin of voltron🦁

- His bayard is claws (very violent tbh)💅

- He has a cat called Crystal, that he can communicate with (think allura and the mice)🐱

- He grew up with his family in an altean colony controlled by the galran empire. One day they manage to escape in a spaceship, and they travel around exploring different cultures and planets🛸

- One day the planet they’re on is attacked by the galra. Marb and Dazz managed to escape in a ship, but their parents and Ari are captured by the galra🪤

- His goal when he joins voltron is to get his family back, he believes they weren’t killed so he’s determined to save them⛓️‍💥

- He loves his brother a lot and he’s sorta freaking out because he’s older, and now without their parents around, he suddenly has to step up (he’s a teenager how is he supposed to protect his brother as they fight in a space war wtf) 😨

- uhh he’s kinda gay and weird🏳️‍🌈

- He’s like. has a small drinking problem but nothing serious🍾

- He has a permanent blush on his cheeks and ears okay that’s just how he looks 🤭

That’s about all i know about him now :- )

i like him. i think my favorite thing about him is that he’s Dazz’s brother tbh but i think that’s because i like raz. Oh wait, i like his bayard being claws, that’s cool.

˚୨୧₊♱ that one time I was aware of both my cr and my dr (?)

♱ So before I start explaining this, please keep in mind that I am far from being a 100% sure that this is what happened, but it is simply my interpretation of it. I personally feel like that's very plausible, but I'll never fully know what actually happened that day.

This happened a couple months ago, in like May if I remember well. I had decided I wanted to shift that night and choose to listen to a shifting hypnosis by Alunir, since I had gotten interesting result from it previously. So, I do my "getting in the mood" routine and go to bed and start the shifting meditation/hypnosis. Nothing particular happened during that, except that I managed to really relax and I feel asleep when she stop talking. I'm not sure how long is slept, I didn't check the time after, but at some point, I wake up because I can smell a really strong smell. It was extremely strong, as if it was like literally IN my noise, but I couldn't pin point what it was. At first, I was like "who tf is smoking weed in the middle of the night in a college dorm building?!" because that was the only really strong smell I could think about, but it was definitely not that. It was really odd. Aside from the weird smell, I couldn't move at all, but I knew I wasn't sleeping, and it didn't feel like sleep paralysis either. I was fully conscious, and I wasn't scared, just very confused. The weirdest thing was that I could feel my eyes were open and closed at the same time. I wear an eye mask to sleep here, but I couldn't feel it on my face. Honestly, I could not a 100% feel my bed either. The smell started to evolve, getting sweeter and sweeter. Which I found even weirder, because my college dorm room usually smelled like whatever I cooked myself that evening. So for me to smell this really sweet, strong smell made no sense. However, I scripted that when I wake up in my drs, my bedrooms always smell like vanilla. At the moment, I didn't realize, but that was probably the sweetness I smelled. Then suddenly, it stopped. I could move and feel my body. I couldn't smell anything. My facemark was very much on my eyes. And I just sat up in my bed like "wtf just happened". Then I just went back to sleep.

My theory is, I was here and there simultaneously. Hence why the smell was odd, it was a mix of my cr and my dr. Also why I felt my eyes being open and closed at the same time but being completely aware and conscious and not dreaming. This was the craziest thing that happened to me in my shifting journey to this day.

Also no worry! Even tho Oliver haves several scratches and scars as sequels because of the Scrapyard, both his facemarks and his paws gradients are all his fur.

Actually that's part of my Monster Engines style, like to give them different fur/scale patterns to make each engine and it's design unique.

Roddy's Ghost Adventures

The Rake: This is the first video Rewind stumbled across after finding something called "The Dark Web" when searching for media for his crew mates. The video is distorted, corrupted, everything inside it is hard to make out or understand. All Rewind can gather from the feed is the panicked screaming of a human and glowing, yellow eyes. He does his best to clean up some of the feed but there are strange viruses lurking in the coding Rewind doesn't want to get anywhere near. He thinks he sees a forest, a house in the background, and a sign reading "Warren Park Trail, Montana." Then the video just ends. Abruptly. He took a moment to contemplate the recording before reading the caption.

Locals spoke of a creature known as "The Rake," a nightmarish being with sunken eyes, elongated limbs, and razor-sharp claws.

Legend had it that "The Rake" was once human, transformed by dark experiments or supernatural forces. Its first recorded appearance was in the late 1800s when it stared hauntingly at a family before vanishing into the night.

As years passed, more encounters were reported, each describing the creature's ability to appear and disappear, leaving behind an aura of dread. Witnesses spoke of its featureless face and guttural noises, claiming that even a brief encounter could plunge a person into madness.

Rewind snickered. This was ridiculous. They'd been on and off earth enough times they would have known if there were any humanoids outside of humanity by now. Some sparkling humans must have just gotten bored.

He ignores the twinge of discomfort ringing in the back of his processor and shuts his vocalizer off just in time to stifle the high-pitched yelp clawing up his intake when a bright yellow hand lands on his shoulder.

"Hey Rewind, whatcha got there?" Rewind turns his helm to stare up at his captain. Slowly, a smile spreads his lips behind his facemark. Oh this.....this will be good.

Subject of interest: Urban Legend - The Rake

Notable Mentions: The air here seems....heavier. Shadows seem to somewhat defy sources of light. Rodimus has taken it upon himself to "Flame up" so everyone can see where they place their pedes. Drift's headlights help but they don't seem to penetrate the strange blanket of darkness. Walking around tonight in search of this legend has proven fruitless. Perhaps this is the first he can strike off the list? He will have to wait till they were back on ship and he had a moment to himself before he can review the feed. He's going to have to do a lot of tweaking before the video is comprehensible.

This is the first installment of my new mini-series. I am so excited to finally post this, I've had the rendered photo done for a while now and was just waiting on myself to finish up the companion comics.

This literally was entirely inspired from solely two things.

1.) As I was sketching Roddy for practice, the song "Dumb Ways to Die" came up on my for you playlist on Spotify. This kinda put in a little seed of sorts.

2.) My brother is starting to get into art and we often go to the cafe together to practice. It's great being able to have a critique buddy right there as you're working together. On the day after scenario 1, him and I went to the cafe and I had been practicing landscapes. My intent had been to make a fairytale like environment. I showed him, we looked at each other, and both stated. "Yeah that's haunted." It's like a light bulb went off in my head. A very very insistent light bulb.

And thus, "Roddy's Ghost Adventures" has been born! Stay tuned for future installments~
