I would love to mess with some cats and their designs. I would loveee to make a cat a sunshine and you could see them turn yellow as the moons go on, a chimera would be VERY cool too. But for now I’m just gonna imagine what the cats phenotypes are. Skykit is VERY MUCH SO a bicolor blue silver in my brain

Your art is so beautiful, I especially love the tarot style stuff you did recently - really beginner question but how did you get the faces to be symmetrical without everything being in the wrong position?
AW THANK YOU!!
they are all drawn with a symmetry ruler! It did take me a while to get used to drawing faces like that, and even now sometimes I need to do a lot of readjusting for the proportions to feel right.
If the symmetry is feeling uncanny, something that helps is adding assymetrical elements like letting the mouth be handdrawn without the ruler, adds some naturality to the front facing humans.
Overall what actually makes symmetrical art appealing is sprinkling assymetrical details in.
