I love watching documentaries about amusement park accidents because all of the park officials are saying, "Oh, dear god, none of us could have anticipated that the roller coaster car would detach, this is a freak accident, an act of god!" and then the narrator is like "The Dicktwister 9000 was a known safety hazard and rabies vector since its inception. It was designed by disgraced Cirque du Soleil clown John Roosters, who had never seen a math textbook."
#craziest part is having parents that worked in the park as teenagers#“I don’t get what everyone’s making a big deal about this was normal#normal to YOU you guys didn’t have a fully developed brain yet

Do you have any tips on drawing Koya? You draw her so well!!! I might need the help with drawing her LOL
thank you!!! I actually feel like I’m really inconsistent with how I draw her so that’s so nice to hear. Mostly I just use references- I know other people like to put their own spin on tmnt character designs and I think that’s so fun and cool, but for some reason my brain needs everything to be as “on model” as possible (even though that’s not really a thing for comic book characters so. Whoops) I primarily draw from her appearance in the Leo Macro for inspiration because I love the shapes in her design there
With that being said, I also love love love how so many other artists draw her. Her expressions are also always on point (something that I’m also looking to improve in my art of her) and even outside of comic artists I’m sure there’s an entire well of inspiration to tap into.
Tbh my heavy referencing probably comes from the fact that I’m not really good at drawing animals or anthropomorphic characters, so someone that’s more comfortable in that area might feel more confident putting their own spins on her design. I’d say just to whatever feels most natural to your creative process! Any koya art is amazing koya art
