That magical moment when you bring your sword and shield to the party and encounter a like-minded soul with their own sword.
One of my many highlights from Kindle this year was clashing steel with Sterling Bishop on the beach. I really couldn't have asked for more for my birthday weekend.
A huge thank you to Jason Surh and to all the other photographers out at Kindle for capturing the moments so we can hold and share them for years to come. 💛

Harper’s Bazaar UK • May 2024
FLASH! We join London’s glitterati at Chanel and Charles Finch’s annual star-studded pre-Baftas bash
Dramatic skies poured outside on the eve of the Baftas, but the intimate corners and warming fireplaces of 5 Hertford Street drew in Britain’s best-loved talents and Hollywood stars for the annual Charles Finch and Chanel party. Emily Blunt and Tom Ford kissed hello, before collecting glasses of champagne and going over to greet Gwendoline Christie and Giles Deacon. As the mariachi band played a lively set, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, George MacKay and Minnie Driver chatted together, while Bel Powley and Douglas Booth unwound after a busy day, having first attended a birthday lunch for Powley’s mother, before the Simone Rocha A/W 24 fashion show, declaring with intent: ‘Now we can relax!’
Bob Geldof and Mariella Frostrup linked arms to lead the charge down to dinner, followed by Isla Fisher, who was admiring the interiors. Once everyone was seated, Charles Finch addressed the room: ‘It has been an incredible year for cinema,’ he said, also paying homage to his co-host Chanel and its historic affinity with film – creating haute-couture outfits for productions such as the New Wave Last Year at Marienbad, and countless memorable red-carpet looks. Over lobster salad and poussin, conversation and wine flowed: the nominees Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig were deep in conversation, and Richard E Grant caught up with his Saltburn director Emerald Fennell. Last year’s winner Emma Mackey was all smiles in anticipation of presenting the Rising Star Award, saying, ‘It’s quite mad, I’ve no idea who will get it, so I hope I don’t mess it up.’ It was almost midnight when guests began to descend on the dancefloor, where the party was only just beginning.

As the year 2023 is nearly drawing to a close...
So much had happened in this year ,the good and the bad . In the beginning of this year 2 days after new years day i got sick with the flu bug (it was horrible),my aunt and my brother in law had both died of cancer ,a person i had grew up with had died of a sudden heart attack at the age of just 38 (our birthday is on the same day October 13th) ,my cat princess had died of kidney failure, the day after she had died i had received an unexpected surprise, my brother had send me a laptop, what a dream come true that was for me cos I've always wanted one and now i finally got it .
Matthew perry died tragically and unexpectedly, the priscilla movie came out, an 24 hour Power outage had happened in south Africa all over, a flooding had happened on the 25th of September and so many other things had happened in this year too....
But luckily i had no drama with the people i am role-playing with on this other rp website which i won't mention, but then i had made the mistake by putting on the anon asks cos i had got attacked by anons over the priscilla movie all cos or my opinions over it and also what i had written about it too ,i swear i will never put on the anon asks ever again on here out of fear that the anons will bash and verbally attack me again on here .
And then i had also suffered major health issues, tackling with that but i had survived it thankfully.
And then to you all my wonderful and fabulous followers for still sticking with me on here eventhough i don't roleplay on here anymore after the whole tj hammond/bucky barnes anon drama on here that had took place a year before....
I thank you all for sticking with me on here and still be here for me in 2024.
I love you all .
I will also never, ever forget this year...
Oh what a year this truly was...

Good morning! I hope you slept well and feel rested? Currently sitting in my study, attired only in my blue towelling robe, enjoying my first cuppa of the day.
First of all, happy birthday to The Trouble. Last year we had a wonderful family bash for her 60th birthday, this year, back to her annual tradition, I’ve bought her tickets for the theatre. This is one resilient woman! Trust me when I tell you: this is one tough cookie! It was a small family unit, just she, her twin sister, her mum and her dad. Her twin sister dies (so we inherit two more children), then my sister dies, then her mum dies, then my dad dies, then her dad dies, and now my brother has passed. She had a small family unit and they are all gone! My family unit was five and now it’s two (me and Lady Wesker.) So, The Trouble has had to deal with a lot of loss (not to mention the deaths of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.) And, if all that loss wasn’t enough, she has to live with me! “Is there no end to her pain?” I hear you say. So, if you say, “Happy birthday!” to The Trouble today, know that you are talking to a very formidable woman!
A thought that crossed my mind the other day (and you’re probably thinking, “Man, you think about some weird shit!”) was about completion. Staying in the moment. I don’t want to get too saucy on a Tuesday but … you know about foreplay … but how about afterplay? The dotting of the I’s, the crossing of the T’s. Finishing the job probably. Completion. Staying in the moment. The afterglow is nice but, after two minutes, don’t jump up and talk about something totally unrelated and random. If you’ve mutually agreed on a quickie, it’s okay if you both go about your business soon after but, if it’s a more considered and luxurious experience, keep the mood and the moment in a very loving place. We don’t often get the opportunity to demonstrate our appreciation, so use that fabulous time to appreciate one another. Tea, toast and meaningful conversation help to maintain and prolong the intimacy. The things that cross my mind!
Have a tremendous and tumultuous Tuesday. I love you all.

Pairing: Bucky Barnes x Reader, Dean Winchester x Reader
Summary: You learn the side effects of sex pollen first hand. Bucky doesn't know what to do. But Dean does.
Warnings: 18+ ONLY. Language. Sex pollen. Oral Sex (Female Receiving). First time writing for: Established polyamory & DD/LG relationship.

He ran his hands back through his hair, the sounds of your moans driving him up the wall. You scratched at the door like a trapped animal and it was all Bucky could do not to open it.
Something was wrong.
Had been wrong since you came back from your last hunt.
“Baby,” you whined through the door. “Please…”
He had made a call to the one person who would know what the fuck was going on and who hadn’t gone that far after dropping you off.
“Dean,” he greeted upon opening the front door.
“James.”
“Did I interrupt something,” Bucky guessed, eyeing the suit and tie that was in place of the usual flannel and blue jeans.
“It doesn’t matter. Based on everything you’ve told me, you’re not going to like what needs to be done.” The sound of you falling to the floor in the bedroom behind them interrupted Dean and both he and Bucky turned to the door.
“You’ll help her feel better?”
Dean paused at the genuine concern in Bucky’s voice. He had nothing against the man, they both just so happened to be in love with the same woman. And the agreement to keep their relationships separate was about to change in a drastic way.
“You’re gonna wanna brace yourself before we go in there. She’s your girl, right,” Dean waited for Bucky to nod before he took a deep breath and continued. “The moment we walk in there, she’s going to be calling me Daddy.”
He couldn’t help the smile that tugged at the corner of his mouth. But when Bucky made a face, one that clearly expressed confusion but the willingness to punch him, Dean shrugged and walked past him to at least hide it.

Mixology Magic: Crafting Unforgettable Experiences with Expert Bartenders
Picture this: you’ve got a fabulous event planned—perhaps a wedding, corporate gathering, or birthday bash. Everything is in place, from the stunning venue to the delicious catering. But what about the drinks? The heart of any celebration often lies in the cocktail hour, and this is where hiring a mixologist or bartenders for hire can elevate your event to the next level. In this article, we will explore how you can transform your gatherings with expert bartenders, dive into the world of mixology, and even find out about cocktail making classes in London.
Why Hire a Mixologist?
You might be wondering, “Why should I hire mixologist when I could just set up a self-serve bar?” Well, the answer is simple. A skilled mixologist brings a unique blend of art and science to the table. Here’s why hiring a mixologist is a game-changer for your event:
Creativity and Expertise: Mixologists are trained professionals who understand flavour profiles, ingredient pairings, and presentation techniques. They can craft bespoke cocktails that reflect your theme or personal taste.
Interactive Experience: Hiring a mixologist can turn your event into a fun, interactive experience. Guests can watch as their drinks are expertly mixed, learn about the ingredients, and even participate in the process.
Professional Service: An experienced mixologist will provide top-notch customer service, ensuring your guests feel pampered. They manage everything from inventory and restocking to maintaining cleanliness at the bar.
Tailored Menus: Want a signature cocktail that matches your wedding colours? Or perhaps a drink that pays homage to your favourite travel destination? A mixologist can design a bespoke menu that fits your event perfectly.
Stress Relief: Planning an event is already overwhelming. Hiring a professional means you can relax and enjoy your party without worrying about the drinks.
Alcohol Safety: Mixologists are trained in responsible service, ensuring guests are served appropriately and don’t overindulge.
Bartenders for Hire: What to Look For
When considering bartenders for hire, it’s essential to know what to look for. Here are some factors to keep in mind:
Experience and Qualifications: Look for bartenders with solid backgrounds in mixology and customer service. Check their resume for relevant experience, such as events, bars, or restaurants.
Cocktail Knowledge: A good bartender should be well-versed in classic cocktails, modern twists, and the latest mixology trends. They should also understand various spirits, syrups, and garnishes.
Multitasking Skills: Events can be hectic. Your bartender needs to handle multiple orders, manage the bar station, and engage with guests—all at the same time.
Communication Skills: A friendly, approachable bartender can make all the difference. Look for someone who can interact well with guests and create a welcoming atmosphere.
Attention to Detail: From measuring ingredients accurately to ensuring the presentation is spot-on, attention to detail is crucial in mixology.
Questions to Ask When Hiring a Bartender
To ensure you find the right fit for your event, here are some questions you can ask:
What is your experience in the industry?
Can you provide references from past clients?
What types of cocktails are you most comfortable making?
Are you available for private bookings?
How do you handle inventory and restocking during events?
What is your approach to responsible alcohol service?
Mixology 101: The Art of Cocktail Making
Now that we’ve established why hiring a mixologist and bartenders for hire is essential, let’s delve into the fascinating world of mixology.
Essential Tools of the Trade
To create the perfect cocktail, a mixologist needs the right tools. Here’s a handy list of essential bar tools:
Shaker: For mixing drinks with ice.
Strainer: To separate the liquid from the ice and solids.
Jigger: For measuring precise amounts of spirits and ingredients.
Bar spoon: Ideal for stirring cocktails and layering drinks.
Muddler: For crushing herbs and fruits to release their flavours.
Ice bucket: To keep ice at the ready.
Glassware: Different cocktails require specific glasses for presentation.
Basic Mixing Techniques
A skilled mixologist should be proficient in several mixing techniques. Here are a few essential methods:
Shaking: Ideal for cocktails with fruit juices or cream, shaking combines the ingredients thoroughly and chills the drink.
Stirring: Used for spirit-forward cocktails, stirring gently mixes the ingredients while maintaining their clarity and texture.
Muddling: This technique is perfect for releasing flavours from herbs and fruits, often used in cocktails like Mojitos.
Layering: For visually stunning cocktails, layering involves pouring liquids of different densities carefully to create a beautiful, multi-coloured effect.
Popular Cocktails to Try
If you’re looking to impress your guests or just want to dabble in mixology yourself, here are a few popular cocktails you might consider:
Mojito: A refreshing blend of rum, mint, lime, sugar, and soda water.
Margarita: A classic cocktail made with tequila, lime juice, and orange liqueur.
Old Fashioned: A timeless drink consisting of bourbon, sugar, bitters, and a twist of citrus.
Cosmopolitan: A trendy cocktail that mixes vodka, triple sec, cranberry juice, and lime.

Event Planning Tips
Define Your Theme: Choose a theme that resonates with your audience. Whether it’s a formal wedding or a casual birthday party, a cohesive theme sets the tone.
Menu Customisation: Work with your mixologist to create a drinks menu that fits your theme. Consider offering seasonal cocktails or signature drinks that reflect your personality.
Venue Considerations: Ensure your venue has the right facilities for bartenders. Adequate space, a reliable power source, and access to water are all essential.
Guest Engagement: Encourage your guests to interact with the mixologist. This can create a lively atmosphere and encourage conversations.
Post-Event Follow-Up: After your event, consider sending thank-you notes to your guests. If you hired a mixologist or bartender, a personal thank-you can go a long way.
The Future of Mixology: Trends to Watch
The world of mixology is ever-evolving, with new trends emerging regularly. Here are some exciting mixology trends to keep an eye on:
Sustainable Practices: Many mixologists are focusing on sustainability by using local ingredients and reducing waste. This trend not only supports local businesses but also offers fresh flavours.
Non-Alcoholic Options: The rise of sober curiosity has led to a demand for creative non-alcoholic cocktails. Many bartenders are experimenting with herbs, spices, and unique mixers to create delicious alternatives.
Craft Cocktails: There’s a growing appreciation for craft cocktails, which emphasise quality ingredients, unique flavours, and artisanal techniques.
Culinary Cocktails: Mixing culinary techniques with bartending is on the rise. Expect to see cocktails featuring gourmet ingredients like infused oils, house-made syrups, and exotic spices.
Interactive Experiences: More bars are incorporating interactive elements, allowing guests to participate in their cocktail creations, from choosing ingredients to mixing their drinks.
Conclusion
Hiring a mixologist or professional bartenders can turn an average event into something truly memorable. They bring not only their technical skills but also a sense of creativity, fun, and sophistication that takes your cocktail service to the next level. Whether you’re hosting a wedding, a corporate event, or a private party, the right bartender will enhance the atmosphere, ensuring your guests are entertained and enjoying exceptional drinks.
If you’re ready to go beyond the basics and create a truly bespoke experience, consider hiring mixologists or bartenders who can craft unique cocktails that reflect your style and preferences. And for those eager to learn the craft themselves, London’s cocktail making classes offer a fun, hands-on way to dive into the world of mixology.

The Allure of Cocktails
Cocktails have a way of elevating any occasion. They can transform a simple gathering into a memorable event. Whether you’re celebrating a wedding, hosting a corporate event, or throwing a birthday bash, the right cocktails can enhance the atmosphere and keep your guests engaged.
Imagine your friends raving about the delightful drinks they enjoyed at your party. Picture the laughter and conversations flowing as everyone gathers around the bar. Sounds enticing, doesn’t it? That's the magic of cocktails!
Why You Should Consider Hiring a Mixologist
What’s the Difference?
You might be wondering, "What’s the difference between a bartender and a mixologist?" Great question! While both prepare drinks, a mixologist goes a step further. They are often seen as artists in the cocktail world, combining creativity with technical skills to craft exceptional drinks. Here’s what you can expect when you hire mixologist:
Expertise: Mixologists understand the science behind mixing drinks. They know how different flavours interact and can create cocktails tailored to your taste.
Creative Cocktails: You won’t just get the standard drinks. They’ll craft unique recipes that reflect your preferences and the theme of your event.
Presentation: An experienced mixologist focuses on presentation. They know that a beautifully garnished drink can elevate the entire experience.
What to Expect When You Hire a Mixologist
When you hire a mixologist, you can expect:
Custom Cocktail Menu: They’ll work with you to create a bespoke menu based on your event's theme and your guests’ preferences.
Interactive Experience: A good mixologist engages with guests, explaining the drinks and offering tastings, which can be a fun and educational experience.
Professional Setup: They will set up a bar station, ensuring everything is organised and ready to go for your guests.

Kenta Omashu
I care only about three things, my brother, a good ass fight, and keeping this hair fabulous.
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Race: Oni
Blood Type: B+
Height: 5’11” (6'3 with horns)
Weight: 230 lbs
Birthday: July 8th
Personality: Fiery, spirited, extroverted, confident, reckless
Likes: Family, collecting weapons, a good brawl, sake, masks, napping
Dislikes: Being bored, eggplants, dry towns, defilement of shrines
Background
Born as the son of a Oni Shrine Priestess, Kenta is the older brother of Aoi and is a wild child. As the eldest son he had inherited the Strength of the Oni and a connected link to the Yokai of his homeland. Through his studies and meditations he has found out an ability to imbue masks with spiritual energy allowing himself to take on the powers and aspects of various Yokai who donate their energy to his craft. Emboldened by this discovery he trained himself to harness it and sought out the elder Yokai of his area for their blessing, so he can one day leave the shrine prepared for the travels. Now having grown up and received the blessing of his mother he's now out into the world seeking a fun fight and maybe get into trouble along the way.
Personality
Kenta is in a word, zealous. He has a zealous love for food, drinks, and a good brawl loving a well spirited fight or contest. He's rather feisty and eager to prove himself which can lead him to be reckless and get in over his head. Kenta is extremely confident in himself and his strength, and has a near unshakable resolve about his worth.
However he's not really boastful and has a small measure of humility, openly stating there are several things he is not good at or can't do by himself. He'll freely admit when he's beaten in a spar and will accept losing in a contest with grace as taught by his mother. Though in an actual fight or a mission he can get caught up by his zeal for a good fight that lead him to make mistakes and over extending himself. He's very much act now on emotional passion than taking time to think things through.
He loves his brother and enjoys pestering him in good humor. To his friends he's loyal and openly warm, quick to joke and seek a good time. Due to his trials in forging his first few spirit masks he has an awareness for the plights of Yokai, and two things that will make him go into a rage would be to threaten his brother or to desecrate a holy site.
Powers
Strength of the Oni - Kenta has the Strength of an Oni, meaning he can lift 15 times his weight and can take a lot of punishment to his body
Minor Pyromancy - He can conjure small flames from his finger tips. They burn about hot as a campfire, though they don't travel particularly far. He mainly uses it to warm up his drinks or start fires to cook on. He also can conjure a small ball of flame to light the way

Spirit Mask Forging - He can craft a mask that is able to absorb the power of spirits. Anyone with a mask can assume minor aspects of the spirit the mask is channeling.
Summon Gear - He's able to summon a few weapons and masks to be able to summon them whenever he needs to, and when he doesn't need them can send them back. He can only summon a couple weapons at a time, and only one mask at a time. If he's in an area of anti magic he can't summon or dismiss them.
Equipment
Dual Kanabos - A set of one handed kanabos which he uses to smash and bash things. It's the one set of weapons he always has on him, though they don't have anything special to them.
Iron Kanabo - A larger two handed Kanabo he uses when he really needs heavy power to crush things. Very heavy, and it's large nature means he needs to use both hands to use it effectively.
Daggers - A pair of Serrated Daggers which he uses when he needs to fight very close up or need to cut something. The serrated edges allow him to lacerate.
Mask of the Oni - Just a plain white mask with small horns and the kanji of 'oni' written. Has no magical power he just wears it in battle to hide his face.
Mask of Sarugami - An white mask with a leering monkey's face, the first mask he forged and blessed by the Yokai Sarugami. With it his agility is greatly enhance allowing him to make large leaps and able to climb up trees quickly.
Mask of the Kitsune - A white mask in the shape of a kitsune with red marks. Wearing it lets him cast a minor illusion spell to disguise himself as a human when he needs to blend in.
Strengths
Skilled in close range combat and weaponry
Exceptionally strong and durable
