Once a young prodigy with a desire to seek stronger and stronger opponents until she became one of the most talented red mages in Alepheria, Freya became a member of the Council, a group of mages who ruled over the imperialistic nation of Edessa. However, after she failed to defeat the latest upstarts to challenge her country's rule, even when reaching the peak of her power she vowed to defeat them until they took her down once more and saved her from an untimely demise. Now, she seeks to redeem herself for the crimes she committed by helping the heroes that let her see her life in a new light.

Freya's build uses the Spell Fencer class presented in the Fabula Ultima core rulebook as a base and expands from there. In combat, Freya is fairly simple, with a focus on bolt and fire damage, she has powerful single target and multi target damage spells to deal with enemies who have Vulnerability to those damage types. However, she's also easily able to change her rapier's damage type to any elemental type along with light to account for other Vulnerabilities.

Freya isn't just all about damage however, like a typical red mage, she has access to minor support capabilities as well. Heal (or White Wind as we chose to call it in the Alepheria game), ensures she and her allies stay topped off. Additionally, she has access to Aura and Barrier to boost the defenses of her allies and herself, while Awaken allows her to boost stats beyond what would normally be possible at her level.

Lastly, Weaponmaster brings everything together. Spellblade doesn't get the boost from Magical Artillery, however it does from Melee Weapon Mastery (or Ranged Weapon Mastery), which makes Weaponmaster important to be accurate with your spells and weapon. Additionally, Counterattack is pivotal as it's used with the Fleeting Moment* heroic, which allows for a sudden burst of damage whenever an enemy strikes Freya with an attack and rolls an even number on the accuracy check.

Expanding the build, I would grab more Spiritist spells along with Ritual Spiritism and Vismagus so you can master it for the Bimagus* heroic, which gives you the classic dualcast red mage is known for. From there, you can expand into Rogue for Cheap Shot and Dodge, along with perhaps other skills like Cheap Shot, Dodge, and High Speed, then grab Powerful Spell/Strike depending on what you want to boost damage wise.

En otro de mis arrebatos repentinos de no saber exactamente qué leer luego de un abandono, tocó el turno de intentar con este grupillo de relatos japoneses, y de todos, estos fueron los que me parecieron más icónicos:

-Rashomon: me dejó algo desencajada 😅

-Kesa y Morito: drama tóxico 😈👌

-Los ladrones: es como una película 💥

-Una vida consagrada a la literatura ligera: es el más normal de todos, pero me tocó el corazón 🥲

-El biombo del infierno: É-PI-CO 👁👄👁🔥

-En la espesura del bosque: increíble 😱🤯

Me ha sorprendido que el estilo del autor no tenga ese característico toque suave que he notado tanto en otras obras japonesas, aquí se siente mas bien rudeza, crudeza y algo de amargura, esencias que van muy acorde con el ambiente del japón feudal lleno de peligros, leyendas y samuráis retratados en cada relato.

Es interesante la variedad en los personaje, tanto en las características físicas como en las personalidades, el autor desarrolla una tremenda profundidad en los monólogos de cada uno, explorando la complejidad y el lado oscuro de la naturaleza humana de una forma tan dramática (en el buen sentido);

Lo que sí, fue incomodo notar cómo se tratan las agresiones a mujeres, si bien esto no queda como trivialidad y mas bien aporta peso a las tramas, no deja de inquietar ese pensamiento misógino.

También como punto negativo, están los muchos datos históricos y terminologías con notas al pie de pagina que se hicieron pesados de leer junto con la lectura en algunos relatos, como en 'el bonzo Shunkan' (literal, en ese casi me quedo dormida).

De todos modos, los relatos mencionados valen la pena porque llegan a ser bastante impresionantes, son como un conjunto de fabulas japonesas que poco a poco se tornan oscuras e intensas.

One of the few named nu mou in Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, Babus Swain aids Prince Mewt stop Marche from letting his friends leave Ivalice but eventually turns on him when he realizes the best thing for Mewt is to return home.

Babus Swain's starting build is fairly simple, a mage that emphasizes high damage with some debuffs via Condemn and Slow. His Zero Power*, Explode, replicates his signature move in FFTA where he deals enormous damage to everyone in an area. The quirk, Big Bro**, gives him access to camp activities whether or not you're using the optional rule which you can use to mine his advisor role to Prince Mewt, improving other's magic capabilities, encouraging them to do better, or planning for the next fight for perfect execution.

Beyond level 5, you can invest in Elementalist to acquire additional fire magic and the ever so handy Magical Artillery. From Entropist you can invest into a few more debuffs and buffs such as Anomaly, Dispel, and Mirror. Then Orator can get you the rest of your Condemn levels, then you could invest into Encourage and My Trust In You to emphasize the advisor role, Unexpected Ally could emphasize his connections as well. For heroics, Powerful Spell, Magic Guard*, and Wise Counsel** are all great choices while Symbolist* can be a good class to invest into afterwards to emphasize the idea of being a Runemaster.
