Memes open up on the main and usually close between a few days and a week later (I’ll close this one on Monday, July 17.)  You don’t need to reblog them onto the dash.  This was inspired by this post (x).

Make sure your ask/anon are on, then like the post if you want to play. If you want select characters to be involved, just comment and list the chars you’d like to open up for the meme.  

Since only primary blogs can send messages, feel free to anon the character you want to answer. I’ll put together a list of those who are in for reference at some point.

Sally/Jack, snow

Characters: Sally & @nightmaarejack

Prompt: Snow

Story:

There was something beautiful about snow, and Sally had always thought it was the one part of Christmas she would keep even though it wasn’t theirs. Spying Jack, a slow smile spread across her face and she slipped across the sparkling white surface, filling her hands as she went. When he turned, she dumped the armful of snow onto him from her perch on the porch with a bright laugh, “Now you’re a snow king.”

Pierce/Jack, rivalry

There was no big moment nor was he jilted, but Oogie had known power and had felt joy of people fearing him for too long to bow down to any king let alone a pumpkin one. Pierce wanted what he had and Jack simply was in the way just as his mentor was way back when, and just as Pierce had done to his mentor he meant to do to Jack; though Pierce wouldn’t let Jack’s death be as peaceful as the old man’s. First he would make Jack watch as he destroyed everything Jack cared for and when the time finally comes Pierce will offer Jack an irresistible deal.

Humanity

He’d spent nights watching the girl, through frosted windows and dark corners, quenching his curiosity on how the other lived. She was an odd one, an interesting one to watch, and, sometimes, when the light caught her just right, there were stirrings with in him. Ones that reminded him that he wasn’t quite the spirit he used to be.

Story: 

She didn’t particularly care if they were in the middle of an aisle in the grocery store in the middle of the night when the song came on, she just knew that she loved ‘I feel your heart-beat-beat-beat’ and it made her bounce a little to hear it playing.  She grabbed his hands, her reluctant partner and laughed at the look on his face, but it was on and she was determined.  His shy smile told her he was giving into her just a second before his feet started to move.

Arthstrid, family

If there was one thing that Arthur hoped, it was that his daughter would have all the love of any normal family, despite their odd arrangement; so that she never felt like no one cared. Though some part of him knew there would be no shortage, as their joint family seemed to grow larger by the day - between pets and partners and, he wished some day, more little ones to follow. But for now, he was content with the family she had, nestled warmly on her mother’s couch with the future ahead of them.
