Thinking once more about the chain of events of fable and how if William had been able to destroy his mask Jack wouldn't have attacked Oakvale and the hero of oakvale and Theresa could have had normal lives. Theresa never would have butted in Lucien could have had a chance to grieve healthily and he wouldn't have killed Rose and Sparrow wouldn't have spent their entire early life on a quest for vengeance that wouldn't sooth the hurt. The darkness would never have entered Albion and Logan and the HOBW would never be pit against each other. And if none of that had happened Gabriel would have just been able to live his life.
Which is a really long winded way to say this is all Jack fault

What's every ones fav fable character
What is fr fr your fav I know a lot of people love Reaver on here but here me out Lucien be poping off. I'm not saying he's the best but I love the silly little man.
Every one seems to be in love with unfiltered capitalism man but I think the only person who can convince me to like fables onceler would have to be the lorax him self and he's not in game and I blame that on Peter Molyneux

Sparrow & Lucien, and the HoBW & Logan are such parallels, it kills me The powerlessness stemming from Sparrow & Lucien's grief molded them into who they are... and they were both steered onto this path due to Theresa's desire for the Spire. Both were made into pawns- Sparrow only coming into the picture when Lucien spiraled out of Theresa's control. But she used the same tactics on Sparrow that she did on Lucien, using their grief in order to build them up again. but this time, she made sure for herself that this one worked out. Theresa and Lucien both "reached for the gun", but I'll get into that another time. Both turned into killing machines as they grew, believing whatever the cost was it'll have been worth it. For once, vengeance. The other, power. Sparrow's life meant more than their pain, but Lucien was driven mad by the promise of rewriting fate. Perhaps it's good Sparrow couldn't see past their grief long enough to desire more than what they lost. Maybe it's good that some part of their innocence lingered. In the end, Sparrow's life becomes dictated by how they changed the world. the lives they took, the lives they saved, and the power they unknowingly put in the hands of Theresa. they built the spire, they used it, and the completed what Lucien set out to do. They live on to unite Albion, and take it under their wings as they move into Castle Fairfax. The beginning of their story, and the beginning of the next hero's. They're so far in with Theresa's teachings, they can't help but take her words to heart about how their kid is the future. Lucien's madness was not the first, and it certainly isn't the last. The Spire, his life's work, a monument to the power of insanity. The drive, the dedication, and the fatal flaws that consume heroes. Theresa herself knew the cost to build it, and went ahead with her plans for the Spire. She is aware of the path ahead, but only looks towards it's destination. She went on to influence Logan after his encounter with the darkness, and continued the cycle when he no longer served his purpose. He spiraled out of her control, and she used this for the HoBW to continue the journey. Exploiting his madness, public outcry, and the stability of a nation to get the best outcome. Their lives did not matter in comparison to the fate of Albion. The tyrant and the hero. A tale as old as time. An effective formula that's worked for centuries. Theresa believed herself to be the only one who could guide Albion's fate as it needed... even when she was the one to invent the problems that required heroes. Tyranny, darkness, corruption... stemming from the chase for power. To her credit- she's done a decent job at guiding heroes over the years. She knows where the problems are, and how to get people to solve them... But she's been blind to her actions for so long. Looking solely towards the future, she's never reflected on the past. When did tears fall from her eyes? When did she realize the cost of her actions? When did she realize her role in these great hero tales? When did she become the tyrant in the tower, needing to find one last hero to stop this corruption- once and for all? I used to hate her sacrifice at the end of The Journey... but now I think it makes sense. She's reached the end of her reign. The corruption exists, so long as a corrupter exists. With her and the Spire destroyed, the pain caused in its wake goes down with it. A new era of Albion is born.

Note
lucien’s parents are fable and dire after working out the whole trying-to-eat-grandmother thing. red-haired wolf-coded hunter boy who dabbles with urban legends.. coincidence? I think not.
(fable taught him everything he knows. dire is a Malewife)

Lucien Fairfax doodles!
[These are my takes on Lucien Fairfax doodles. Although not perfect I did it in appreciation of the character as generally he serves good role as a villain in FableII. No one can tell me otherwise!]

I am once again thinking about Rose, and how everything was stolen from her. She should be playing with Sparrow while their parents watch on, working on the farm, and experiencing her first crushes, but instead she is on the cold unforgiving streets of Old Town. Fending off Arfur, and attempting to raise her sibling, relying on the kindness of other while knowing it is not guaranteed. She is an optimist, forced into the role of a pessimist, because of how bleak everything is, a child forced to be an adult, because if shes not what will happen to little Sparrow?
She writes an she draws, and she imagines a life far kinder to her than the one she has now, dreaming of the day someone or something takes care of her and her little sibling. And when she thinks its going to happen, because Lucien is so nice, and seems so kind, it is ripped away, and she's killed. Not even immediately, dying from a second shot delivered only after the sibling she had tried so desperately to protect is shot, she dies scared, thinking she has failed. Thinking that not only her life is being taken, but the life of the only person that matters as well.
Shes a little girl, and she is somehow forced to grow up yet never allowed to. Its entirely unfair

I’ve been enjoying fall out a lot recently so I’m playing fallout three … which is obviously a Fable 2 reference because it was released in the same week as Fable 2
