Welcome to Marchtian 2025!!!

This is a brand new prompt fic and art event centred around one of the most famous teammates in Formula 1 history: The little German twink Sebastian Vettel and Aussie Grit's Mark Webber! They are also known in the F1 RPF community by their pairing names: Martian and Sebmark!

There are 31 prompts to choose from, one for each day in March. You can interpret these prompts however you like: You can have Mark and Seb as best friends, best enemies, or as a romantic/married couple, and you can put them in any situation you like (AU or canon compliant); the choice is yours!

Here’s the full list:

FAQ TIME!

Q: Do I have to do every single prompt?

A: Nope! You can choose as many as you like! Any or all prompts; it’s completely up to you! And you can interpret these prompts however you like.

Q: Do Seb and Mark have to be the main characters?

A: Yes. You can include other characters and ships if you want, but the primary focus MUST be on Seb and Mark.

Q: Can I write about/do art for characters from other racing categories such as the junior Formula series and other motorsports series such as Moto GP, ROC, WRC, and Le Mans?

A: Yes, as long as the main focus is on Seb and Mark.

Q: What about sports that don’t involve motor vehicles such as tennis and hockey?

A: The same rules apply!

Q: Do I have to sign up to join?

A: No sign-up form is required to join.

Q: Are we allowed to share snippets of our work on sites such as Tumblr?

A: Yes! You're allowed to share snippets, just make sure you choose ones that don't reveal too much of the story/stories or artwork you're working on.

Q: What's the minimum word count for fics?

A: That’s completely up to you! There’s no limit on how long or short you want your fic(s) to be.

Q: Can my fic have multiple chapters?

A: No. Oneshots only, please! However, if you’re thinking of writing a standalone sequel to an existing fic, then that’s allowed.

Q: What kind of art is allowed?

A: Absolutely anything you like: Traditional pen/pencil on paper, paintings, collages, manips, GIFs, animations… any kind of art is allowed!

Q: Are Explicit works allowed?

A: Yes! All works, from General to Teens to Mature and Explicit, are allowed, as long as they are properly tagged.

Hello everyone! There's a new event in town- welcome to Osctober!

Let's go over the basics!

What is Osctober?

Osctober is an event made by creators for creators. We've come up with 31 individual prompts, one for each day in October.

Who can participate?

Everyone! Writers, artists, gif-makers- do you make F1/Oscar related content? Then you're invited!

How do I participate?

Create something for the prompt of the day (or any other day) and post it! We are using the tumblr tag #Osctober 2024, and there is a collection on AO3 called 'Osctober 2024'. Post your work in either or both!

There is no sign up, so no obligations!

Do I have to do every prompt/day?

Nope! See one that suits your fancy? Do it up! Create as much or as little as you want!

What if I miss a day?

Feel free to go back to any prompt you've skipped! We'd like to keep the posts in line with the prompt of the day, so try not to post early, but going back is fine!

Are there any rules?

Barely. All we ask is that your work contains Oscar in some form. Feel free to write any pairing, gen fics, anything that focuses on Oscar!

In light of the beginning of an exciting new era for the Charlos ship, we thought it fitting to host an event to celebrate the RPF pairing between Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz Jr.

'What is this fest?', you may wonder. Well, it's an opportunity for creators to write, draw or edit and for other enjoyers to show their love and appreciation for Charlos as well as fandom contributors. This is a celebration of our beloved ship!

Before he can reach the RED BULL RACING crew, LAWSON catches him around the abdomen and pulls him into a hug. Their helmets knock together a little and the embrace is reciprocated quickly.]

19:07 [LECLERC, now pulled away from the arms of his team, is standing on his tip-toes. He appears to be searching for someone. With enough time ahead for the fest to begin, we wanted to gather some information with questions you've had or may have. So, please read further to learn more about the #CharlosFest25

What is it?

The fest is a fandom event to celebrate the Charles Leclerc/Carlos Sainz ship within fandom spaces on the internet and with different fandom activities.

Is it only RPF?

No. Even though the theme has a shippy nature, you're welcome to celebrate Charlos as a duo without tapping into fictional discussions or doing more RPF things.

What kind of stuff can I create for this event?

Anything your heart craves to make! You can write, make fanart, graphics, web weaves, make a killer edit; you can crochet, you can even bake a cake and take a picture!

Where will the event be held?

The event will be hosted on AO3 and Tumblr. For AO3, we have the Charlos Fest 2025 Collection where the works published on AO3 will be preserved. And for Tumblr we'll be tracking #charlosfest25 to make sure we promote all the creations participants make throughout the posting period (August).

How does prompt submitting work?

Starting March, we will begin to receive prompt submissions on AO3. If you have an idea/prompt for a Charlos work (be it fanfic or fanart) you'd like to pitch, this will be the time for you to do it. Once creating process begins (in April), participants will claim the prompt(s) they want and start working on them.

Do I have to take multiple prompts? Can I do my own prompt?

You can take as many prompts as you wish and we will have 'blank' type of prompts for participants to claim and work whatever idea they have, if other prompts don't offer the same idea.

What is the minimum requirement for art, video edits and written works?

For fanart, you can do a colorized sketch at minimum. For video edits, at least 1 minute long. And for written works, the minimum wordcount is 1K (multi-chaptered works are welcome but your work must be new).

Are all ratings and tropes allowed?

Yes, anything goes. From gen to explicit, you can both submit prompts and create fanworks of any rating and trope ever seen in AO3, but, tagging properly is imperative.

How can I participate if I'm not a creator?

If you can't make stuff, you can still be part of the celebration as a reader & cheerleader. With the comment bingo, you'll be able to boost and show your excitement for what other participants are doing!
