Cartoons with dinosaur people trying to make the earth hotter

A streamer I was watching watched some random episode of Extreme Dinosaurs and the villains were trying to use a weapon that destroys the ozone layer to make the earth hotter and more suitable for dinosaurs

Ozone is a greenhouse gas and removing the ozone layer makes the earth colder. Sunburn is not caused by the sun being hot it's caused by UV radiation which the ozone layer blocks.

There's also an episode of Batman Beyond where a cult is turning themselves into dino men and said cult wants to explode a super volcano in order to make the earth hotter and more suitable for dinosaurs.

Super volcano explosions in Earth's natural history are followed by long periods of cold weather due to the amount of ash being launched into the upper atmosphere and blocking sunlight. This was one of the theories of what made the dinosaurs extinct in the first place before we settled on the asteroid.

How are dino people so bad at making the earth hotter, us humans are doing it by accident.

But I’ve been rewatching an old cartoon extreme dinosaurs and I only imagine a human character helping the bad guys, the raptors by giving them a place to warm up at their place…but then they don’t ever leave and now the raptors won’t leave THEM alone ^^’

TRM Round 1: Extreme Dinosaurs (T-Bone) vs Doctor Who (Deep Breath T. rex)

Extreme Dinosaurs (T-Bone) – In a world where Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ruled the realm of cartoons, even a knock-off like Street Sharks could have a spinoff. And, thus, the Extreme Dinosaurs were born. T-Bone, naturally, is the leader of the group and behaves accordingly.

Doctor Who (Deep Breath T. rex) – This poor, tragic dinosaur is inadvertently dragged to Victorian London in the 2014 debut episode of the Twelfth Doctor. Sadly, she is unable to return to her own time due to the actions of the episode’s robotic villain.

You know, your animalverse makes me somewhat nostalgic. In the 90's, at least two shows were trying to be an edgier version of the Ninja Turtles. Street Sharks and Extreme Dinosaurs. I was too young to watch these shows, but I remember playing with the toys once or twice. Your animalverse sort of reminds me of them.

Never heard of these shows and I have to google it up to see what these are.

And well, I’m glad that you like the AU enough that you feel nostalgic about these shows.

I got to say;

Street Sharks have a unique design of the humanoid sharks.

I dunno how I feel about the proportions of their body/anatomy but the shark anatomy is odd enough so props for the idea.

And Extreme Dinosaurs; They have an interesting design for the dinosaurs but the proportions of the body are little off.

Then again, they are made in 90s so I would give them a pass this time.

And apparently the show was a spinoff of Street Sharks show because they shows up in Street Sharks’ few final episodes? And they’re called Dino Vengers? 7.5/10 for the name, tho.

Hmm, I suppose the Street Sharks show is something that the kids in my AU would watch. Although, the few things in the show would be probably altered to fit the Animalverse.

Anyway, I’m glad you like the drawings.
