A mobile testing lab at the Extrema Outdoor dance festival in Houthalen-Helchteren (Limburg) discovered 6 dangerous types of ecstasy pills. As a result festival organisers were obliged to issue a warning on social media.

The ecstasy pills found could be life-threatening. "The danger lies in increased blood pressure and heart rates resulting in higher body temperature. In combination with dancing, being in a warm environment and consuming alcohol, this creates a risk," says Nele Samyn of the Institute for Criminalistics and Criminology (NICC).

At the test lab on the festival site, only relatively simple techniques are used, so the results are in quickly. MDMA, the active ingredient of ecstasy, for example, is detected.

During the festival itself, drugs are confiscated, examined and, if necessary, warnings are issued to festival-goers follow on LED screens or via social media channels.

Extrema Outdoor attracted 70,000 spectators last weekend. That is a record. It was also the first time there was a mobile drug lab at the festival.

Pedro Mercado is a very experienced & passionate international artist based in Belgium. His style of music is unique blend ranging from organic, afro, melodic and progressive house to ethereal techno and indie dance. Always presenting the newest tracks combined with a lot of exclusive promos and unreleased stuff from himself and his labels Chrom Recordings & Planet Ibiza Music.

In 2017 Pedro started up his own label Chrom Recordings together with his Ibiza mate Mike Chrom from Planet Ibiza. The label focuses on quality electronic music (progressive house, indie dance, melodic house & techno) from new & established artists from all over the world. In a few years time Chrom has grown into a very credible & successful quality label with many followers.

Continuano i top party al Bolgia di Bergamo.  Sabato 6 maggio 2023 sul palco del top club bergamsco ecco Toman & Rossi, duo d'eccellenza, che con la sua minimal techno ha preso decisamente il largo nei club più importanti del mondo. E infatti il Bolgia non poteva mancare nell'elenco. Il party è organizzato in collaborazione con Momento Lab.

Di base ad Amsterdam, con robusti studi di batteria alle spalle, Toman debutta come produttore nel 2016 con "Smiling Faces", su Toman Music, etichetta che porta il suo nome. La sua personale visione musicale, all'avanguardia e ricca di influenze, lo porta a pubblicare su etichette come W R House, Cyclic e Blind Vision, e ad esibirsi in festival di livello come Awakenings, oltre che in club di riferimento quali il Watergate di Berlino. Si diceva di suoni e visione all'avanguardia: il suo recente "Chevere", su No Art, ne è lampante esempio. Il 26 maggio fa scatenare Extrema Outdoor con 999999999 e Adam Beyer, al Plas di Houthalen - Helchteren, in Belgio.

L'inglese Rossi a sua volta si è conquistato la ribalta e il rispetto di pubblico e addetti ai lavori con serate ad Ibiza e a Londra, dove, tra fabric, Ministry Of Sound e Printworks ha lasciato ogni volta il segno.
