qrow’s first heartbreak was always losing summer. regardless of if he ever initiated on his feelings or not, summer was his rock, and now she’s gone, he’s always going to feel that heartache of losing someone he loved so dearly. i’ve wrote a larger headcanon backing this up further here, but to cut it short, summer is forever qrow’s first love.

“ … tyrian. ” the other’s voice cuts through him ever so easily  &  quickly that he doesn’t even notice.  it’s only then that he notices how much he’s grown to this back and forth,  the constant pull and push between them has become too familiar to let go, it’s the only thing he’s known. the only constant, the only one that’s been at his side has been none other than the one pressing against him.

he struggles to find the words to answer, for once.  “ i … ”  clover’s always known his way around words, he’s always known how to push the buttons he wanted, but never with tyrian. it’s always been gestures and touches that don’t last enough, looks and glances that never meant nothing more than their familiar camaraderie.

maybe it means something else now. maybe, just maybe. clover whispers, using the same fond tone he’s grown to use with the other.  “ i wouldn’t have it any other way. ”

                         yukiko’s not used to getting yelled at  --  especially  not by chie.  so the tone of her voice makes the student jump a bit ...  but by the time she gets over being startled,  she’s already crumbling,  her nose scrunching up a bit as she has to hold down some tears.  of course chie would recognize something’s wrong ...
