One of the things that brings me the most joy about the Public Theatre's production of Merry Wives is that the character of Anne Page (pictured on the right, played by the lovely Abena) is played by an actress who is both fat and Black. Anne Page is the most sought after character in this play. She is the most beautiful girl in the whole town. She has not one, not two, but THREE suitors.

There is a rampant racism and fatphobia issue in theatre, especially in casting, so to see Abena occupy that space on that stage, to see her be the most beautiful woman, one of the driving forces of the play, brings me immense joy.

As a follow-up to your discussions about Harry's friendship with Nick and the curiosity surrounding his book - which is a head-scratcher for sure for us long-term fans - I've been reminiscing a bit about Harry's London/LA friend group. Corden's recent bad press sent me down this rabbit hole as well. Specifically, I was puzzling over Chelsea Handler. She's about to have a Netflix stand-up special and I follow some of her socials and noticed that she's not following Harry and pretty sure the reverse is also true. I was surprised by this because we know they've had a seemingly close and light-hearted connection in the not-too-distant past when Harry's solo career was taking shape. Have you heard anything about that relationship souring? They appeared to have a genuine friendship and easy rapport.

So I think basically anything is possible here. It's possible that they never started following each other on instagram and so the fact that they don't follow each other now means nothing and they're still good friends. They could have been reasonably close for a time an drifted apart, because the circumstances that brought them together were the same.

We also don't know how close they originally were - they did a cute photo together in 2015 and a cute interview in 2017. But those are just two moments in time.
