i'm trying to make lists of all the small projects left unfinished in my house and frankly none of it is big stuff (except the kitchen) but it's all just. compounding small things that i don't have the tools or knowledge to do.
#and some of it makes me actively cwazy like the unfinished baseboards the lack of door trim the exposed drywall everywhere#the lack of gcfi outlet BEHIND THE SINK the grout that should have been caulk along the tub#the overcaulked horror of a sink that is now horrifically stained in coffee#the exposed ductwork and holes in the ceiling that rain drywall dust down on everything#and none of that is thaaat important but not fixing them is slowly making everything worse and agh#like the no door trim along the back door is causing an issue where taco's little hellish claws are eroding the exposed edge of the drywall#anyway i'm tired i spent all day cleaning mouse turds and watching that hbomberguyvideo

Incredibly unique 1800 (completely renovated) home in Newtown, PA has 5bds, 4ba, 6,294 sq ft, $3.295m.
Look at the sheep above the door. This home is so full of art and antiques.
Rooms on both sides of the long wide hall down the middle of the home are completely open- no walls, just beams.
Such a beautiful living room.
Very unusual fireplace. Not the run-of-the-mill design.
Some ladders to reach the books.
The balcony over the kitchen. And, there's also another ladder.
They designed the beautiful island with a raised center of tall glass doors. Isn't that pretty?
This room next to the kitchen has 2 dining tables with a seating area in the middle.
This home has such an interesting layout.
The stone wall in the primary bedroom must be original to the 1881 home.
Lovely large ensuite. They incorporated the stone wall very nicely.
And, the closets.
Look at the exposed ductwork in this bedroom.
It has a cute vintage-look ensuite shower room.
Closets in the hall to the lovely home office. Look at the ceiling.
Another beautiful bath. Each one is a different style.
Sitting room with access to the upper deck.
Casual family room on the lower floor. The stone walls look like the original foundation.
Outdoors, there's a patio and beautiful pool.
A tennis court.
And, a raised bed garden. What lovely grounds.
3.42 acre lot.

Gathering notes on Springpuppy AU Springtrap's appearance in one place.
Both of his ears are broken. The right one obviously as half of it is gone. The left one is intact but won't stay centered in its track. It can move to emote but at rest stays flopped to the side.
The left eye has lost its colored lens. The right eye still has the green lens, but it's faded and cracked. The lights still function and shine eerily in the dark.
The metal structure of his right leg is damaged, and he can't remain standing for long and can only perform a lurching, limping walk for a few feet. He opts to crawls on on fours most of the time.
He's in pain, but much of the time it feels sort of distant. It's the background noise of his body until something brings it into focus.
The human part of his body can't seem to decide if it's dead or not. It appears partially mummified but is soft to the touch. His flesh has a strange purple hue.
Some of his organs still function and others don't. His lungs inflate even though they're clearly punctured. Sometimes his heart beats.
He can feel with his animatronic parts. Whether it's real or in his head doesn't really matter. His ears and eyelids will move in response to his thoughts and emotions.
His human eyes are blind. He sees through Bonnie's eyes.
He doesn't bleed. He doesn't rot anymore. Some of his teeth have fallen out. Some that remain are broken. The ones still intact are surprisingly strong.
The Spring Bonnie programming "woke" first, activated by the sound of music and following its typical response to move towards it, apparently even through the ventilation. Afton's consciousness began waking while crawling through the ductwork.
It took much longer for his mind to fully recover and present itself (the actual brain having suffered at least some decay). He was slow to regain most of his memories, his brain prioritizing the Bonnie-related ones as that's who he believed he was.
He can't speak due to damage to his vocal chords from the spring locks and general decay and disuse. He can grunt, whine, and make raspy, metallic wheezes and screeches.
He doesn't have as much of his corpse exposed as canon Springtrap. The metal exoskeleton penetrating it at multiple points obscures it unless you're looking closely, and the tatters in the fur and gaps in the plastic shell of the Bonnie suit don't always or completely overlap.
His limbs and appendages especially aren't nearly as exposed, with most of the fur and shell intact on them, aside from the damage to the exoskeleton of his right leg.
The largest exposed areas are on his right shin, the left side of his chest, and the back of his neck where the head and torso of the suit meet.
The gloves and feet of the Spring Bonnie suit contain no exoskeleton parts, just wire mesh to retain their shape. They can be removed.
Harlan attempts over time to clean and cosmetically repair the suit though their knowledge and skills are limited. They attach buttons to keep the fur closed over the gap in his chest so his heart isn't constantly exposed. They replace his lost bow tie with a large purple ribbon. They also initially tucked car air fresheners into the gaps in the suit because while he's no longer actively rotting, the smell clung to him for quite a while.

Here are the types of backgrounds you can choose from when you post a dick pic on a Sniffies/Grindr profile:
1) Sparse living room filled with office waiting room sofas. The room has large windows, concrete floors, and exposed ductwork. This is a “gentrified” building. The room is decorated either like a TJ Maxxinista showroom with faux fur throws and brass statuettes/millenial geometric rugs OR Fro-Yo/Bubble Tea Shop royalty free artwork.
2) Hoarded bed room. The bed is wrought iron and oak (often sled shaped) either inherited from parents or purchased from the show floor of Value City (with matching dressers and double-wide mirrored vanity). The side tables are black manufactured wood with silver legs ($20 Walmart) and every surface is covered in lotions and ointments, tissues, Funko Pops, vapes, laundry in plastic baskets, oil diffusers and air fresheners. The wall art is from Kohls with a sort of Tuscan flair: reds, golds, maroons collaged with damask patterns. The room is carpeted in beige.
3) A bathroom from the 1930s that hasn’t been cleaned in equally as long. The shower door is frosted glass and the sink isn’t big enough for one person let alone all the shaving supplies plugged into the outlet next to the dirty mirror. Towels inherited from the nursing home. Stains and mold spores that make you wonder how they ever get clean, let alone feel sexy enough to photograph themselves and make this their first impression.
4) Mom’s House” guest bathroom. The walls are wallpapered in 1990s stripes & florals with a clashing border 3/4 up the wall. Kohl’s Tuscan-style artwork makes a return, this time in motifs of clawfoot baths and scrolling italicized fonts. There are shadow box frames of dried flowers and an oak towel rack with stacks of decorative hand towels that aren’t functional for drying, and have probably been a permanent fixture in the decor for decades. You know theres a matching furry rug set on the floor and wrapping around the toilet.
5) Crotch shot POV in drivers seat of car after gym. You can’t tell if the logo on the steering wheel is meant to be a flex. Alternatively, with work boots and jeans that might be saying “im a trucker on the road” or “Im just a non-fancy working man who probably isn’t going to shower before meeting up because I only get on the app when I’m running errands.”
Please feel free to add your own observations— these may be regional observations (Northern, Midwestern, East Coast).

"AC Maintenance Tips for Homes and Businesses in Saudi Arabia’s Harsh Climate"

Air conditioning systems are vital for both homes and businesses in Saudi Arabia, where temperatures often soar to extreme levels. Ensuring that your AC unit functions at its best is essential not only for comfort but also for maintaining efficiency and reducing energy costs. Proper maintenance can prevent unexpected breakdowns during the hottest months, while also prolonging the lifespan of your system.
To maintain an efficient and reliable cooling system, many property owners opt for professional AC maintenance services to ensure their air conditioning units stay in top condition. Regular maintenance services can help identify potential issues before they escalate, avoiding costly repairs or the need for a full replacement.
1. Regular Filter Cleaning and Replacement
One of the simplest yet most effective maintenance tasks for any air conditioning system is regular filter cleaning or replacement. In Saudi Arabia’s dusty environment, filters can quickly become clogged with dust and debris, making the system work harder and reducing efficiency. Dirty filters restrict airflow, which not only increases energy usage but also decreases the unit's ability to cool properly. For both homes and businesses, it is recommended to clean or replace filters every one to three months, depending on the frequency of use.
2. Inspect and Clean Condenser Coils
The outdoor unit of your air conditioning system contains condenser coils that are responsible for releasing the heat absorbed from the indoor air. These coils are exposed to the elements, and in a harsh climate like Saudi Arabia, dust, dirt, and debris can easily accumulate. When the coils are dirty, the system's ability to dissipate heat is compromised, leading to reduced cooling performance and higher energy consumption. Regular cleaning of the condenser coils helps ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
3. Check Refrigerant Levels
For your AC system to cool effectively, it needs the correct amount of refrigerant. Low refrigerant levels can lead to inadequate cooling, causing the system to run longer and work harder. Over time, this can increase wear and tear on the unit and even lead to system failure. It’s important to have a professional check refrigerant levels during routine maintenance and top off as necessary to keep your system running smoothly.
4. Inspect Ductwork for Leaks
Leaky ductwork can significantly affect the efficiency of your air conditioning system, as cool air escapes before it reaches its intended destination. For businesses and larger properties, this can result in uneven cooling, higher energy bills, and an overworked AC unit. Regularly inspecting ductwork for leaks or gaps and sealing them as needed will help ensure that your air conditioning system is delivering cooled air efficiently.
5. Schedule Professional Maintenance
In Saudi Arabia’s extreme climate, scheduling professional AC maintenance at least twice a year is highly recommended. Professional technicians have the knowledge and tools to thoroughly inspect your system, clean essential components, and identify potential problems before they escalate. Businesses, in particular, can benefit from having a comprehensive maintenance plan to avoid costly downtime due to AC failure.
Whether you own a small home or manage a large commercial facility, regular AC rental service and maintenance are crucial for ensuring the longevity and efficiency of your cooling systems.
6. Optimize Thermostat Settings
Maintaining an optimal temperature setting on your thermostat can greatly impact energy usage and overall system performance. In Saudi Arabia, where temperatures can reach extreme highs, setting your thermostat just a few degrees higher can significantly reduce the strain on your AC unit. Additionally, programmable thermostats allow you to set different temperatures based on your schedule, which can help save energy when cooling is not needed.
7. Keep the Area Around the Outdoor Unit Clear
The outdoor unit of your air conditioner needs adequate airflow to function properly. Debris such as leaves, dirt, and plants can obstruct the airflow, causing the unit to work harder and reducing its efficiency. Regularly check and clear any debris from around the outdoor unit, and make sure that there is at least two feet of clearance on all sides to promote optimal airflow.
8. Ensure Proper Ventilation
Ventilation plays a crucial role in the effectiveness of your AC system, particularly in business settings where large numbers of people and equipment generate heat. Poor ventilation can increase humidity levels, making it harder for your air conditioner to cool the space. Make sure that vents and return air registers are not blocked by furniture or other obstructions, and consider using ceiling fans to help distribute cool air more evenly throughout the space.
Conclusion
Maintaining your air conditioning system is essential in Saudi Arabia’s harsh climate, where efficient cooling is a necessity rather than a luxury. By following these AC maintenance tips, you can ensure that your system operates efficiently, keeps energy costs under control, and provides reliable cooling when you need it most.
Investing in regular AC maintenance service is key to extending the life of your system and avoiding the discomfort and expense of unexpected breakdowns. Whether for a home or business, proper maintenance is a proactive step toward achieving consistent and cost-effective cooling year-round.

A Social Construct Chapter 14: i will By Foul_Fiend https://archiveofourown.org/works/45376648/
Word Count: 114,184 Chapters: 14 of 20ish? Rating: E
Chapter Excerpt:
Studio 110 is a wide, open space bright with natural light, exposed ductwork on the high ceiling and raw brick visible on any wall surface that isn’t dedicated to displays of art.
Aziraphale closes the door behind him quietly and steps into the corner. He’s never been one to command a room, and he uses that fact to his advantage, scanning the space for a splash of fiery hair. And there -
In a shaded area, facing away from the sunny windows, Crowley is bent over a work table, sunglasses set aside, face pinched in fierce concentration as his nimble fingers perform some delicate task with a pen-like tool. He’s dressed in a paint-splattered tee so threadbare as to be nearly transparent, with several holes worn into its shoulders and its overstretched collar, which has pulled to one side to reveal the stark lines of his clavicle.
Aziraphale wants to mark that smooth skin with his mouth. His teeth.
Aziraphale wants to blaze across the room and kiss him, kiss him senseless. But he remains quiet so as not to startle him - letting him concentrate on his meticulous task. Crowley is mesmerising like this, so fully immersed in his work that his defences have fallen away, leaving him guileless and free. It so reminds Aziraphale of their intimate moments, when Crowley loses control, loses himself.
Aziraphale wants to see Crowley like that again - free of artifice.
He wants to be the cause of it. He wants.
