That doesn't stop him of course. He was just one of the unlucky ones, not everyone gets one unfortunately and that's just how it works. Even so he's doing pretty well.

Working for a government ran newspaper, collecting photos of heroes and villains alike. Sometimes vigilantes. He'd say he feels kinda like Peter Parker but they already got Arachnid as a hero so it's a bad analogy anyway. And Peter Parker didn't secretly give out government secrets to vigilante groups anyway. Or detective agencies. Though Tubbo did what he had to pay the bills or buy Sunny the things she wanted.

It was all going great too! His weird bear boss might have been strict but it never caught onto his snooping. The vigilantes got their information, hell even his theory blog started kicking off. Even if people were skeptical of his ideas it got more attention than he'd thought. He had started making more progress on uncovering certain people's identities. Tommy called him about it too, and he didn't have any snarky comments about it. Well maybe a few, but less than usual. Sunny also was doing well, getting more control of her power. He barely had to replace any burnt clothing more recently.

At least it was going good.

With the sudden unexpected retirement of one of the most popular heroes things got shaky. Then to find out the information he had given to the detective agency helped them uncover something he should've expected. Adonis was caught working with a certain demon themed vigilantes group. Tubbo worked with them too, but Adonis was supposed to be a hero, right? The hero was always less morally sound than the others but a direct interaction with a vigilante group?

He was surprised when he got a call from the group. Bad was the one calling this time. Happily thanking for him for getting Adonis to them.

heyy!! ive been rlly good actually. life update, sure. uhhh i've super busy with school, i got into the musical at my school, so ive been really focusing on that. uh what else. it's js been winter vacation, and i did nothing but sleep so ive been feeling good. nothing else much. and ofc i can share w u babe, ill put my long explanation under the cut.

ive been super inactive js cus this is the 2nd semester of school and i rlly have to lock in. another reason i havent been interacting at all w any of my mutuals is js for me to focus on my life irl since i have so much going on, i've been trying to rlly lock in. for example, i actually deleted discord. i was in so many servers so it rlly js felt like i had so many friends on there, but yk like i said, i have alot going on. nothing bad, just alot of good things that need time.

SO, to anyone in those servers, or mutuals i havent been interacting with, im sorry guys!! its not just you, i've been really occupied!! i love u guys sm, and i will try my best to be more active lately in my free time, cus yk its all js fun <3

Hello, theory for uh... Rain World and its dlc Downpour? Yeah Spoilers ahead.

Theory and spoilers below

So, we know the Saint and how it seems to not have an Iterator, yeah? BUT WHAT IF IT DID.

That's right I think I found the Saint's Iterator. And it's the one and only already dead Sliver of Straw.

Why? The triple affirmative. For those who need a refresher, the triple affirmative are the rules to finding a solution to ascension in Rain World and they are as follows.

Affirmative that a solution had been found

Affirmative that a solution is portable

Affirmative that a technical implementation is possible and generally applicable

With this we should hone in on 3 and 2 because without them 1 is incomplete.

Now what is more portable, applicable, and technically implementable than a pearl with the answer key?

The Messenger that can move on its own free will. And that ANYTHING can interact with. This may also be the reason as to why it can understand the Iterators, it was built to.

Now the counter argument would be Sliver of Straws death, long before the Saint. But we have seen with Big Sister Moon / Looks To The Moon that Iterator's structures and importantly the entities in them still function a bit, even past the Iterator's semi-death.

With this I think that Sliver of Straws did a test run of the Saint and sent out its triple affirmative message right before passing onto Rubicon to wait, but along with that sent out an order to its structure to trap the Saint and to wait until a region got cold enough, then send it over.

Straws would do this to allow the others time to find their own solutions, but still help them to ascend if they couldn't.
