Bringing back mammoth: ❌️
Bringing back historic keystone species like carolina parakeet, dodo, thylacine, moa, and other driving ecosystem engineers of habitats that are today still suffering their incredibly recent absence: ✅️✅️✅️
We are bringing mammoths back. Yay or nay for cloning and playing god
you can’t ask me about the ethics of this to be honest because at heart I’ll always be the evil scientists in Jurassic Park wanting to play god and bring forth unseen animals.
that said it would be more useful to use this method to restore more recent extinctions such as elephant birds, dodos, or thylacines. I don’t see much benefit to the ecosystem by dropping in giant elephant things when most other species of that era are also extinct. I just think seeing extinct animal is cool.

You let out a long sigh, your eyes tired from studying the map. You were trying to figure out the shortest path to a village over a mountain pass, but the surrounding craggy terrain was making it difficult.
You stepped away from camp for some peace to ponder the routes. Everyone was vocal about their opinion on the fastest way, through varying levels of danger and difficulty, and it seemed like the discussion wasn’t going to end anytime soon.
The bickering began to give you a headache, and you knew you wouldn’t be able to make a clear decision while frustrated.
You rested your head against the tree you were sitting up against, pondering the options and trying to figure out how to get everyone to agree on which way to proceed.
You closed your eyes, trying to focus on the tranquility of the woods around you, hoping it would ease your mind.
You honed in on birds chirping and flitting between branches. A stream trickled nearby, crystal water pouring over glossy stones. The scent of wildflowers and grasses tickled your nose.
Your heartbeat slowed, your mind clearing.
Your eyelids felt heavier, your body relaxing into the soft earth beneath you, the smooth bark of the tree cool against your back.
You unwound further, the tension in your head leaving. Your thoughts began to wander, fantasizing of a comfortable bed and hot bath.
You imagined sinking into warm water, your aching muscles needing the relief.
A pair of large hands slide over your shoulders, beginning to knead the stress away. A low whisper at your ear, lips at your neck, the hands moving lower to caress you.
Someone else is in this bath with you, and the person takes the form of Halsin. He’s there, his golden hair down and wet, holding you close to him, kissing you with passion and urgency. Your hands wander over the broad expanse of his chest, memorizing every scar.
This exact fantasy plays in your head every night as you lay in your tent. You’ve been trying to keep these feelings at bay, but it was getting more and more difficult as the days passed. You were falling for the kind druid. How could you not?
You haven’t felt this way in a long, long time. These feelings don’t come easy to you, but somehow everything was easy with Halsin.
He was always so thoughtful, so understanding. He doesn’t hesitate to heal you, check you over for wounds. You often spoke late into the night, talking of past adventures like you have been friends for centuries.
You couldn’t help but think, or hope, that he felt the same about you. You have been hesitant to make the first move, not wanting to make a fool of yourself. You have resided yourself to fantasies, at least for now.
Heavy footsteps startled you out of your daydream. You froze, eyes snapping open, lumbering steps drawing closer.
You peeked over the map, scanning the forest around you. Twigs cracked and bushes rustled as something large made its way toward you.
You slowly reached to your side where your dagger was sheathed, staying completely still otherwise, holding the map up with your other hand.
A massive bear head emerged from the brush, golden eyes immediately locking with yours.
Adrenaline pumped through your veins, gripping your dagger, sweat beading at your forehead. If you stood still, maybe it wouldn’t perceive you as a threat. You swallowed, waiting for the bear to move first.
The bear stared right at you, and a familiar deep, rumbling grunt of your name came from the bear’s mouth.
You blinked a few times. Did you just hear your name?
Halsin.
It was Halsin.
You couldn’t help but let out a relieved laugh, slumping back against the tree.
“Halsin!”
You released your dagger, setting the map down next to you. “You startled me!”
“I apologize, it was not my intention to alarm you. I often forget this form can be intimidating.”
Halsin’s deep timbre floated through the air, resonating in your head.
The adrenaline left your body as Halsin lumbered fully into the clearing.
“Don’t apologize, I was lost in my thoughts. The quarreling in camp was beginning to give me a headache.”
Halsin made a huff that sounded like a chuckle if a bear could do such a thing.
“That is exactly why I went roaming, myself. The wind, the trees, and the birds all offer cures that medicines or other concoctions cannot. Only out here can you achieve pure harmony and clear one’s mind.”
You always loved the way Halsin waxed poetic about nature. While others may scoff, you listened and agreed wholeheartedly. You admired his passion.
Halsin shifted on his massive paws.
“I also wanted to make sure you were faring well. You left camp abruptly. I followed your tracks.”
You felt a flush of embarrassment, realizing you may have stormed off a little more dramatically than you thought.
Also, Halsin was following you?
“I don’t mean to intrude on your solitude but…”
Halsin tilted his massive head back, motioning to a bush behind him.
“I was foraging for medicinal herbs to resupply my stock and found something I hope you’ll enjoy.”
Halsin turned away from you momentarily.
You sat forward, wondering what he was doing.
He bent his head below the bush, turning back around to face you.
In his mouth was a bundle of wildflowers in different colors and variety. Each was different and vibrant in its own right.
Heat crept up your neck, blushing your cheeks.
Halsin took a few large steps toward you, placing them gently at your feet.
“These are…for me?” You questioned, hoping you weren’t misinterpreting this gesture.
Your vision flitted from the flowers to him. You were always in awe when he was in wild shape, witnessing how he harnessed the power of nature and extended his strength into a physical embodiment of it.
Though he was a beast, when you looked into his eyes, it was still him.
His gaze softened as he nodded, watching you gently pick up the bundle, admiring the gorgeous assortment.
“These flowers produce a calming tea when dried and prepared correctly. It is a favorite recipe of mine, one that I tend to make for myself when I’m feeling overwhelmed. I hope I could show you how to prepare it. Also…”
Halsin paused, something tender flashing in his ursine eyes.
“Their exquisite beauty reminded me of you.”
Your heart leaped in your chest at his bold admission.
You smiled, your headache now long gone. “You…really think that of me?”
You’ve spent so long fighting, beautiful is not something you’ve thought of yourself in some time. Hearing Halsin say it with such sincerity stirred your heart in a way you haven’t felt before.
Halsin took a few steps back from you, his stare not leaving yours.
“The most brilliant of sunrises or the most magnificent hues of a sunset do not compare to you.”
Suddenly, leaves whipped around, and Halsin’s bear form was bathed in golden light. You watched as he transformed, slowly standing upright as the fur fell away and revealed the man underneath.
He held out a large hand down toward you, offering to help you up.
You took his hand, calloused and warm, and he pulled you up with ease.
“Halsin…” you started, your heart feeling as if it might burst out of your chest at his heartfelt words.
“I cannot lie to you. I wish to spend more time with you and see no better time to start than now. Your friendship means a great deal to me, but I long for more. I could not wait longer to tell you.”
Halsin’s hand squeezed yours lightly.
“I believe you do as well. Unless I am misguided. Tell me now, and I will step away.”
Halsin was not a daft man. He catches your stares or the way your cheeks bloom a deeper color when he speaks to you. He notices how you stand closely to him on the battlefield, often putting yourself in harm’s way to protect him without a second thought.
You were unlike anyone or anything he’d experienced in his long life. You were everything to him. He finally felt like he was in the right headspace to admit it, and give you his full attention and heart if you’d want it.
He knew you had your burdens, though. The tadpole in your brain, trying to be the leader that everyone needs, trying to solve every problem and save every person. He would understand if you said no, and would continue to stand by your side as a friend.
Halsin was gazing at you with so much admiration, that you felt as if you were floating. You picked up a hint of hesitancy, as well.
The large man was putting his heart on his sleeve, the flowers representing the start of something beautiful and new in chaos, and it was up to you to accept it.
“Yes.” You whispered, “I want that and so much more. You are not misguided.”
A large smile graced his features, his eyes shining.
Halsin leaned down, lightly touching his forehead against yours, bringing your hand to his chest, and you could feel the fast thrumming of his heart under your fingertips.
“I am happy to hear it.” He whispered, his lips close to yours.
Halsin let out a soft sigh, bringing his free hand to cup the side of your face.
“I have been wanting to express my feelings to you for a long time.” His voice was low. “May I kiss you?”
You nodded, squeezing the stems of flowers in your one hand, while your other was still enveloped in his against his chest.
“Yes,” you breathed. “Please.”
The words barely left your mouth as his lips captured yours, fervent and passionate, better than any dream.
His lips were soft and purposeful, both of you pouring your long-held emotions into the dance of your lips.
Finally, after what seemed to be an eternity, you both pulled away for a much-needed breath.
“So many nights I laid awake, desperate to feel your lips on mine, dreaming of how you’d taste and feel…none of those fantasies were even close to the real thing.”
“How many nights did you dream of me?” You asked, leaning your head against his chest.
“Since we first met.”
“I admit I dreamt the same of you, Halsin.”
Halsin laughed, a pleasant rumbling in his chest.
You looked up at him, his eyes twinkling with mirth.
“Well then, my flower, we must make up for all the lost time.”
Before you could answer, Halsin scooped you up in his arms bridal-style, silencing your surprised squeak with his lips, more hungry than before.
“What about making the tea?” You gasped between his kisses, wrapping your arms around his neck for purchase.
“When we are done, we can brew it and enjoy it under the stars. Though, by the time we are finished, the sun may just be rising.”
Your body ignited with his words, feeling him smile against your lips as you kissed him with urgency, suddenly needing to feel your entire body against his, needing to feel every part of him.
You knew he felt the same, and he kneeled to lay you on the soft grass, caging you in between his thick biceps.
As his body pressed to yours, your worries and frustrations melted away with every touch and pass of his lips and fingers and sultry praise of your magnificence.
Halsin was true to his word, you explored and worshipied one another until the stars began to fade and a new day was rising, ready to face the world stronger together.

𝐌𝐎𝐎𝐍𝐆𝐀𝐙𝐈𝐍𝐆
content: you want to watch the night sky, but tsukishima would rather focus on something—or someone—else
warnings: gn! reader, incredible amounts of pining on tsukishima's end, cursing
character(s): tsukishima kei
word count: 569
a/n: any time i think of a fic idea that has something to do with the moon, i need to make it about tsukishima
Tumblr media
Tsukishima prided himself on being a rational person. He rarely let his emotions overwhelm him and typically acted in a very logical manner. It was easier that way, relying on cold facts and reasoning rather than intuition and gut feelings. Head over heart was the phrase he usually lived by.
So why was his heart now beating erratically at the mere sight of you?
Under the blanket of the night sky, Tsukishima and you sat side by side on the grass, close enough to hear each other's breathing but just far apart that you weren't touching. When you had asked him to go cloud watching, which eventually turned into stargazing, he couldn't seem to say no to you. That's how he found himself here, spending hours watching the warm hues of the sunset morph into an inky black expanse.
Despite it being a clear night with the full moon out, Tsukishima couldn't help but focus on you instead. The glimmering moonlight perfectly highlighted your features: the slope of your nose, the curve of your lips, the shine in your eyes. Why would he look at the moon and stars when the brilliance of the entire sky was reflected onto you?
"Tsukki."
His breath hitched at your voice, afraid that his glances weren't so discrete after all. He also discovered that he didn't seem to mind when you called him by his nickname. In fact, he quite liked it, but he'd deal with that piece of information later. "Hmm?" he acknowledged, trying to appear nonchalant.
"Isn't the moon so pretty tonight?" you remarked, your gaze still directed upwards.
Sure, the moon looked nice, but your beauty was incomparable.
God, what the fuck was he thinking? How did he become a bumbling fool who couldn't get you out of his head? He can't remember exactly when he started to see beautiful things and subconsciously associate them with you.
Tsukishima tried to dispel his thoughts of you before he could say something that even remotely revealed the feelings he decided to keep locked away. "It's the same moon that was there last night," he commented. "And the night before."
You scoffed and finally diverted your attention from the sky to face him instead. "You've got no sense of wonder or whimsy," you grumbled.
What you didn't realize was that there was a deeper meaning behind his words. To Tsukishima, you were like the moon: a constant, reassuring presence yet just out of reach. There was no denying the moon's dependability; it would always hang in the sky every night, whether or not it could be seen. Similarly, he felt comforted knowing that you were right by his side. However, one step closer was all it would take to cross the precarious barrier between friendship and... what? Tsukishima didn't know, and that's what made him afraid. He liked how things were now, at least that's what he convinced himself.
"We can't all have our head in the clouds."
"We can't all be a stick in the mud," you fired right back at him.
"I'd rather stay on the ground, thanks," Tsukishima muttered. He desperately hoped the glare from his glasses would conceal any emotion clouding his eyes.
You chuckled, huffs of amusement released into the empty night air. "Predictable, coming from Mr. Vanilla himself."
At the sound of your soft laughter, Tsukishima swore he felt his heart stop. Oh, he was so fucked.

CozyTober day 9: Fall Road Trip
Logan Howlett x f!reader
WC: 1.3k
a/n: this one is so sweet I literally got a headache writing it (wither that or the fact that i haven't had any water today). If you liked it please reblog so other people can check it out, I'll see y'all later for day 10.
Tumblr media
You were peacefully reading on the leather couch In your room when Logan opened the door without knocking and threw your wool coat and scarf at you.
“We’re going for a drive, get ready.” And he was gone as quick as he appeared. This wasn’t unusual for Logan, for as long as you’d known him he’d been a man of action.
Instead of using his words to show he cared he did things, like learn and make your favorite coffee for you in the mornings, or putting Anna’s favorite blanket in the dryer for her when she was in one of her moods, he made sure we always had Charles’ favorite tea stocked and would even bring dinner to Hank if he was too absorbed in his work and forgot to come eat with everyone.
Even as a teacher, he was always more into hands-on learning than lectures. It’s just who he is.
So you weren’t surprised at the sudden and unprompted plan change. In fact, you were kind of looking forward to seeing what he had in store for the two of you.
You got ready as quickly as you could and made your way outside to the (admittedly ostentatious) driveway. Logan was leaning against what used to be a gorgeous fountain but was now just a crumbling hunk of stone. Several of the older students had thought it a great idea to see whose power could mess the thing up worse and suffice it to say that the boy who could produce seismic waves when he clapped won the bet. Charles was upset but you had pointed out that he was the one who opened a school for mutants where they didn’t have to hide, and it was a well-known fact that children make stupid choices sometimes.
Despite the fact that the fountain no longer worked and looked quite a bit rougher than any other part of the grounds, it was still one of your favorite places to go. Maybe it was because it was the closest part of the grounds to the outside world, or maybe it was the sense of beauty that you found within the destruction. A beauty that was only being added to by the man leaning against the rubble.
“Are we taking your bike?” You asked as you got closer.
“No, my bike can barely hold me let alone the two of us.”
“I suppose that is what you get for having metal bones.”
“Ha. Ha.” Logan drawled. “We’re taking the truck it works better for what we’re doing.”
“And what would that be?” You asked trying to keep up with his strides as he made his way to the vehicle.
“Some cute shit. You like that right?” He turned his head to look back at you.
“I guess?” You responded.
He just nodded and kept walking. Eventually pulling open the door for you and offering you his hand so you could boost yourself up into the cab.
He rounded the back of the truck, quickly taking a look at the stuff in the bed. When he was satisfied he pulled down the cover and climbed behind the wheel.
The first several minutes were quite, you gazed out the window at the colors blurring past you. The trees doing that wonderful color changing thing that they did this time of year.
The reds oranges and yellows flowed easily in and out of each other, creating a vision of heatless fire that danced in your eyes. Every once in a while you’d pass an open field and you’d be able to look out upon the expanse of grass.
“Cows!” You yelled as you jammed your finger in the glass of the window. Pointing them out to Logan and grinning ear to ear.
He just chuckled and moved his hand to rest on your jean-clad thigh. Running his thumb up and down your leg while his other hand moved to the top of the wheel and his eyes stayed firmly on the road.
Your smile got smaller but no less real and you moved your own hand to his, intertwining your fingers together and resting your hands on your leg.
Time both flew by and inched along, words occasionally being traded between the two of you. But for the most part, you just sat and looked and savored the time you had with Logan. Soft radio music in the background is the soundtrack to an afternoon you will not soon regret.
The sun started its descent into the horizon, but Logan did not turn back.
“Lo? Where are we going?” Admittedly you probably should have asked that sooner but you trusted Logan with your life and didn’t think it was that important.
“I told you, cute shit.” Was his complete answer
“That’s not a place, that’s a thing and it’s not even a specific thing.” You shot back.
“Trust me, sweets.” He used the hand still resting in yours to give you a quick squeeze. You squeezed back and took a deep breath. Settling back into your seat and contenting yourself with more window watching.
That became more difficult when the sun fully escaped your grasp and all were bathed in the inkyness of the sky. Only the truck’s headlights and the dim glow of the radio buttons shine in your vision.
Not too long passed before Logan turned off onto a dirt road, only a single wooden post with a sign your couldn’t read marking its location.
The truck wobbled and rocked on the uneven terrain tossing your gently back and forth in your seat. The movement ceased and Logan put the truck in park. He threw open his door and walked to the truckbed, pushing up the cover and moving some things around back there.
You simply sat and looked at your surroundings, able to actually get a good look now that you weren’t racing past at 80 mph. It was hard to see in the dark but you were able to make out a post fence with some chicken wire threading through it. You could see the silhouette of trees on each side of you and what you think was a building a little ways away.
Logan rounded the truck to your door and opened it for you once again. Helping you out the same way he helped you in. He led you by your hand to the trunk and when you saw what he had laid out before you you softly gasped.
He had fully decked out the bed of his truck with pillows and blankets, there was an inflated air mattress that he had even covered in a fitted sheet. He had brought a cooler with his and your favorite drinks and some small bags of snacks.
“Cute shit, I get it now.” You say and turn to Logan who is still holding your hand but trying to look as aloof as possible.
“Yeah, well. Wanted to spend time with you.”
“If you wanted to spend time with me, we could have done that at the Mansion.” you pointed out.
“You like cute shit.”
“I do. I also like you.” You replied.
He says nothing, just moves into your space, and holds his unoccupied hand out for you, nodding his head at the truck bed. I like you too. His actions yell.
You take his hand and he helps you into the cozy den he’s made. He follows you up and careful not to crush you he lays down and pulls you into his side. He points out he constellations he knows and pretends not to know the ones you point out to him back.
The two of you fall asleep like that, wrapped up in each other, looking out into the sky and saying nothing and everything all at the same time.

The treasure is all mine!
-Prologe- (Chapter one, chapter two) Genshin Impact x Creator!Reader
warnings: first post ever! almost swear word, the most classic start to a SAGAU fic ever (Im sorry I dont know hot to start else), no y/n used, gender neutral ,english isn't my first language so propably spelling errors, I don't know how Aranaras talk. (I professionally ignored that quest.), characters might turn yandere in the future
summary: After playing TCG your screen becomes strangely white. It starts glowing brighter and brighter and the light seems to suck you in? That can't go wrong... right? Suddenly you find yourself in a forest, not remembering anything but meeting a little creature that might be able to help you out
characters: you, your mom (no this is not a joke), aranara!oc: Aramasu
word count: 1.359
wattpad version here
https://pin.it/38Diiq1CA
Tumblr media
"THIS BI-" you yelled at the screen. The third time. The third time you lost at that damn card game, and the third time you got annoyed because of it. "How?? How can this be so hard? It's the same technique I always use when I play normally! It works against bosses; why not now in the Genius Invocation TCG? I was so close this time too!" With a frustrated sigh, you let your head fall back. On the screen was still the word "defeat," big and plastered onto a red background for extra drama. Seriously, who had this idea? It's just frustrating at this point. Not even the recommended teams online seemed to work. You even tried copying the other players' teams that defeated you, but you still lost anyway. Why were you doing this again? Oh right... rewards.
Another sigh escaped your mouth when you heard your mother's voice from the kitchen. "Darling! Come down, dinner is ready!" A small smile crept on your face. 'Darling,' a nickname your mom gave you whenever she was in a good mood. Seems like work was quite alright today.
"Coming!" you answered, the dinner smell already reaching you by the time you finally mustered up the courage to sit up. Looking at the screen one last time, you decided to stop playing Genshin Impact for today. You had already done your dailies and everything else you felt like doing. Seriously though, doing dailies started to feel like a chore. That's why you were more than happy to open chests and explore instead. Standing up, you turned the game off and watched the screen go black.
Or... did it?
You were just about to leave the room when it lit up once more, but not with the loading screen, just plain white. "What the..." A bright white light filled the room, instantly blinding you. With your hands lifted before your eyes, you managed to get closer. "What is this?!" you said, a bit of fear in your voice. This had never happened before! You didn't even know that your screen could be so blinding! Just when you were about to touch it, everything went dark. Dark and warm. That's all you felt. Looking around frantically, you tried to make sense of the situation. It was still bright outside, so it shouldn't have been so dark now! Maybe just the aftermath of the blinding light?
"Darling, are you okay?" You heard a voice in the distance, but it felt oddly far away, as if it went further and further away with every word spoken. "M-.. Mom?" you asked, but there was no answer. It was still very warm. So warm. Slowly, you felt yourself grow weaker and weaker. Soon your knees gave in, but you didn't fall while your eyes closed shut. Before you could say anything else, your consciousness had already left your body. . . . . So... comfy. It was so warm, like on a sunny summer day when you lie down on the grass and just enjoy the fresh air. Talking of which, whatever you lay on felt just as nice. The sounds of birds could be heard in the distance. After a couple of minutes, you opened your eyes and saw...
Tumblr media
A vast expanse of vibrant green, stretching out before you. You're lying on a bed of soft moss, the texture cushioning your body like the most luxurious mattress. Above, a canopy of trees sways gently in the breeze, their leaves creating a symphony of whispers. Sunlight filters through the branches, casting dappled patterns of light and shadow that dance around you.
You sit up slowly, feeling the softness of the moss beneath your fingers. The air is filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers and the earthy aroma of the forest floor. You take a deep breath, the freshness of the air invigorating you. The sounds of chirping birds and the distant babble of a stream create a soothing background melody.
As you look around, the forest feels both alien and familiar. Massive trees with trunks wide enough to house entire rooms rise majestically around you. Their leaves are an array of colors, from the deepest greens to shimmering golds, reflecting the sunlight in a magical display. The forest floor is dotted with flowers of every hue, some glowing faintly, adding to the otherworldly atmosphere.
Confused, you try to remember how you got here. The last thing you recall is the blinding white light from your screen and your mother calling you for dinner. Your thoughts are interrupted by the feeling of something soft nuzzling your hand. Looking down, you see a white rabbit, its fur pristine and its eyes large and expressive. It seems completely at ease, cuddling against your hand as if it belongs there.
With a gentle touch, you stroke the fur of the rabbit. It nuzzles into your hand, happy and content. A gentle smile spreads across your face. Have you ever felt so at peace before? It's hard to say when you don't remember anything from before. Not like it matters now. Nothing matters. There is no reason to question anything at all. Not why this wild rabbit is so calm and cuddly with you, not scared at all. Not why you don't feel certain things, like hunger or thirst. It's all so nice and warm and cozy.
Wait, there is something. Some feeling, not very familiar, but you still recognize it. Are you being watched?
Yes. No, no, it can't be that. Probably? Turning around, you scan your surroundings. All the bushes, the trees, and their leaf crowns, then you see it.
It isn't threatening, more weirdly familiar than anything. The small creature is floating above the ground with a little cute 'hat'? One word pops into your head as the creature comes closer: 'Aranara.' But how do you know that? It feels natural, like knowing the name of a dog or cat. Aramasu. This little Aranara's name is Aramasu.
"You're not a Nara," says the curious creature.
You answer, "No, I am no Nara. That's what I believe, at least."
With a soft smile, you reach out, cupping the little Aranara's face. It looks up, surprised, almost speechless. The warmth soothing through its body by the mere touch of you.
"What might you be doing here, little Aramasu?"
The rabbit, still cuddled up in your other hand, seems very happy with the encounter. The Aranara isn't surprised that you know its name; it feels truly natural.
Aramasu's eyes widen slightly, then it relaxes into your touch. "I was just wandering, like I always do. But today felt different. The forest whispered to me of a new presence, something... special."
You look around; the forest seems to glow with a subtle, otherworldly light, as if acknowledging Aramasu's words. The trees sway gently, and the air is filled with a soft, harmonious hum. It feels as though the entire forest is alive and aware of your presence, welcoming you in a way that goes beyond mere coincidence.
"Special?" you ask, intrigued. "How so?"
Aramasu tilts its head, studying you with a curious expression. "You have a light within you, one that resonates with the heart of the forest. It's warm and soothing, like the embrace of the earth itself. It's rare to see such light in anyone other than the forest spirits."
The rabbit nudges your hand, drawing your attention back to its soft fur. You feel a sense of contentment and belonging, unlike anything you've ever experienced—or at least, anything you can remember. The forest, the creatures, even the very air around you, all seem to sing in harmony with your presence.
"Perhaps," Aramasu continues, "you are more than what you think you are. The forest recognizes you, and so do I."
As you ponder Aramasu's words, a sense of purpose begins to stir within you. Though you may not remember your past, the present feels vivid and alive, as if this is where you were always meant to be. The forest, with all its mysteries and wonders, seems to be waiting for you to discover your true self.

Hello dearest author, i would like to request if they are still open something where Theodore is just relaxing with gf!reader. Like it’s a nice summer afternoon, the wind is blowing wonderfully and suddenly gf!reader says something romantic or just “I love you” in Italian shocking Theodore as he was sure she couldn’t even pronounce his native language right months before dating

IT WAS A PERFECT SUMMER AFTERNOON, THE KIND THAT SEEMED TO STRETCH LAZILY ACROSS THE HOURS WITH A GOLDEN HUE. The sky was a brilliant blue, untouched by even the hint of a cloud, and the gentle breeze carried the sweet scent of blooming flowers and freshly cut grass. You and Theo had found a secluded spot under a large oak tree on the edge of the Hogwarts grounds, its expansive branches providing a cool, dappled shade. Summer break was right behind the corner.
Theodore lay sprawled out on the blanket you’d brought, one arm tucked behind his head and the other loosely draped over his stomach. His eyes were closed, a soft smile playing on his lips as he soaked in the atmosphere of the moment. The rustling leaves above created a soothing symphony, a natural lullaby that complemented the soft sound of distant laughter and the occasional chirping of birds.
You were sitting next to him, having his head resting in your lap, your eyes tracing the lines of his relaxed form. The sunlight filtered through the leaves, casting shifting patterns of light and shadow across his face. He looked so peaceful, so content, that you couldn’t help but feel your heart swell with love and admiration upon the sight of your boy. The months you had spent together had been a picture of sweetness and joy, and every moment had only deepened your feelings for him.
As you watched him, a sudden thought struck your mind. You had been practicing something special, something that you hoped would surprise him in a good way. Taking a deep breath, you leaned closer, your voice barely a whisper as you spoke the words you had practiced over and over.
"Ti amo,” the Italian syllables rolled off your tongue with surprising ease. You had been so nervous about getting it right, but the words felt natural, infused with all the love you felt for him.
Theo’s eyes snapped open, a mixture of surprise and delight flashing across his face. He lifted his head a bit to look at you, his blue eyes wide and sparkling with emotion. For a moment, he simply stared, as if he couldn’t quite believe what he had just heard.
"Did you just . . . ?" he began, his voice trailing off as a grin spread across his face. "You speak Italian now?"
You laughed softly, feeling a rush of warmth at his reaction. "I’ve been practicing," you admitted, your cheeks flushing slightly. "I wanted to surprise you."
Theo’s smile widened, his eyes softening with a tenderness that made your heart flutter. He reached out, gently cupping your cheek with his hand. The touch was warm and reassuring, grounding you in the moment.
"You did surprise me," he said in a low tone of his voice. "And you pronounced it perfectly. When we first started dating, I didn’t think you could even manage ‘ciao’ without stumbling."
You chuckled at his teasing remark, remembering the early days of your relationship when you had struggled with even the simplest Italian phrases. "I had a good reason to learn," you replied, your voice softening as you looked into his eyes. "I wanted to be able to tell you how much I love you in your native language."
Theo’s expression grew even more tender, his thumb brushing lightly against the apple of your cheek. "You have no idea how much that means to me," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "Ti amo, too."
The words, spoken in his deep, gentle voice, sent a shiver down your spine. He always managed to make you fall for him even more. You leaned in, closing the distance between you, and pressed your lips to his in a gentle, lingering kiss.
The world around you seemed to fade away, leaving just the two of you in your little haven under the oak tree. The warmth of the sun, the rustling leaves, the distant sounds of summer — all of it became a backdrop to the profound sense of love and contentment that enveloped you both.
