Milo Murphys law is such a great show. Two of the main characters are time travelers who are ordered to protect pistachios (solely bc they suck so bad at their job that the boss just stuck them there. He likes pistachios), and thirty episodes in, it's revealed that one of them, Dakota, has secretly been saving the other one (Cavendish), every time he dies. Which is a lot. He takes their time machine, goes back to before Cavendish dies, and saves his life. But there can't be two Dakotas walking around, so that extra remaining Dakota exiles himself to a distant deserted island and stays there for the rest of his life. The island is filled with Dakotas. He's given his life up to save Cavendish so many times. He doesn't even know why he puts so much effort into saving Cavendish, all he can say when he wonders why is"it's Cavendish, what are you gonna do?" The Dakotas entertain themselves by watching footage from cameras they've set up to watch the remaining Dakota and Cavendish, and they coo in delight when Dakota and Cavendish share a sweet moment. This is all set up in eleven minutes, interspersed with a B plot about tweens going to a movie about a dinosaur made of ham

Baby Blue is just 17 but I do like to think that, bc of her connection with Wonderland and innocence, she would act as a big sister for many of the younger arcanists. especially Balloon Party since the two reject adults or the idea of growing up!

Blonney and Bunny Bunny

both characters have a focus on movie or hollywood as a concept, both are also girls around the same age range who know what it's like to be put into very restrictive stereotypes (the blonde bimbo, the southerner). I think they'd get along, and it's very funny to think about Blonney go straight to Bunny Bunny for help if Jessica ever needs help, since Bunny Bunny's family had a farm lmfao

but I also just rlly love girls who are total opposites on a surface level being close friends bc of the small little things they do have in common

I could've added Charlie or The Fool since the idea is similar, but I feel like Zima would work best?

all three of these characters cherish the power of the written word and have used it against injust systems, but I think that Charlie's insecurities would hold her back a lot from truly bonding with Sonetto thru poetry, and The Fool is too much of a revolutionary--his very open and vocal "down with the monarchy, every person in authority is a fucking fool" vibe would clash with Sonetto's obedient dog aspects. Zima, however, feels perfect to act as another poet for Sonetto to befriend and a mentor to slowly introduce her to more open ideologies

SURE hes a recluse and socially inept bc of the years of isolation in exile, BUT HES NOT SHY WHEN IT COMES TO SHARING HIS VIEWS AND THOUGHTS OR WORK. hes the perfect idea of subdued and quiet strength, I rlly think Sonetto could really benefit from having him as a mentor or responsible adult figure

Nicole Ari Parker Kodjoe (October 7, 1970) is an actress and model. She made her screen debut with a leading role in The Incredibly True Adventure of Two Girls in Love and went on to appear in Boogie Nights.

I really liked Five Nights at Freddy's but I think it's because I played the games way back when...

Power Rangers 2017. I know no one liked it but I had fun so that means it's a good movie ❤️ or Gone in Sixty Seconds! It's a fun and silly found family movie!!

3. A movie you think is overrated

Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation 🧍‍♂️ I think there was a lot of potential to make it...... better but no one took those opportunities! I don't really like it and it's my least favourite of the series!

last series: Been watching a lot of Law & Order and NCIS in the background, but the last series I actually sat down and watched was Love, Death, & Robots. Hit or miss, but when the episodes are good, they are really good.

last movie: Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. Was good, not amazing, but the effects were great, story and characters were predictable but fun and good enough, and the references to the Forgotten Realms world were really cool. A- overall, but SS+ tier for a D&D movie lol.

I don't think that I've ever fully written this out so in case I haven't, this is my post-series verse headcanons for Botan. This all happens after the events of the manga (or the One Shot OVA) with consideration for the movies (despite the fact that she's unconscious for like 95% of Poltergeist Report, she gets to be Important so I'm keeping it). This will be the primary situation in which I'm writing Botan unless otherwise specified.

At the end of the Three Kings arc, Enma is officially dethroned and replaced as ruler of the Gate of Judgement by his son Koenma. During his exile, Koenma was able to uncover evidence that Enma was orchestrating demon attacks on Ningenkai in order to justify controlling the three realm's barriers and conspiring with the Kings in order to (hopefully) get rid of Yusuke & co and plunge Makai into a civil war. With this evidence, Koenma was able to unseat him and banish him. (I've written before about an additional realm occupied by the old gods and I imagine Enma might go there or retire to another part of Reikai)

With the knowledge that much of the conflict between the realms was purposeful, Koenma's intentions are now to try and restore relations with Makai and unseal the barriers, allowing demons to once again inhabit Ningenkai. With the help of Makai's new king, they've worked on establishing fair safe guarding such as Mukuro's border patrol and laws to prohibit demons from enacting violence against humans to ensure the well beings of both humans and demons

An additional part is trying to unravel the long history of Reikai's dominion and Enma's set up criminals. In this, Botan has been recruited to help. Given that she's become much closer to Koenma than she was previously and that she has close relationships with both demons and humans, Koenma trusts her judgement. While most of Reikai still holds prejudice against demons, Botan sees them as friends and equals. So Botan helps with communications between Makai and Reikai. It has also been determined that the judgement laid upon the demons who were used by Enma was unfair and there are many who were sentenced to afterlives far harsher than what they should have had. So they've started going back through the records, from the time that the barrier was enacted, to make sure anyone who was unjustly sentenced could be reexamined or given the option of a lighter sentence. This is primarily where Botan has been working.

For the first few years after Koenma takes over, Botan spends most of her time in Reikai, working in the palace archives rather than ferrying souls. She doesn't mind it, feeling like she's undertaking an important role. She also occasionally runs messages to Makai. She doesn't return to Ningenkai for more than a few hours every once in a while. During this period is when those of Ningenkai would be finishing high school and moving on to college or a career. She is of course present when Yusuke returns from Makai and Genkai's final will is read.

During this period, Reikai is in a state of disarray. While most within the palace support Koenma's rule, it has been thousands of years since they've had a change in management and there are many groups who see it as a treacherous coup. This is what leads to the events of One Shot. Many spirits believes themselves to be morally superior to the demons and therefore should continue to be the ones to control the barriers. But those remaining in the SDF (some left or were reassigned) are working to help maintain Reikai's stability and prevent any kind of civil war.

Botan has also been spending more time training and developing her reiki. She wants to be able to better support her friends and given how things are changing, she wants to be able to stand on her own without needing to be protected. She's not necessarily concerned with becoming a fighter, just some self defense. Her natural inclination is more towards support magic or non offensive magic. After holding the Power Sphere within her body (a feat she really shouldn't have been able to achieve), the amount of reiki she's able to produce grew exponentially as a lingering effect. She's making good progress and is eager to continue learning.

While there is still a long way to go as far as Reikai's concerned, Koenma has at least settled into his role and Makai is adjusting to their new leadership as well. As tensions ease, Botan has more time to visit with friends in the other realms outside of work.

#DailyDevotion Jesus Is The True High Priest In The True Temple Above.

Heb. 8 Now, this is my main point. We have such a High Priest, and He sat down at the right of the throne of the Majesty in heaven to serve as Priest in the holy place and in the true tabernacle set up by the Lord and not by men. 3As every high priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices, this One, too, had to bring some sacrifice. 4If He were on earth, He wouldn't even be a priest, because there are priests who offer the gifts demanded by the Law. 5They serve a copy and a shadow of what is in heaven, as God told Moses when he was going to make the tabernacle: "Be careful to make all of it like the pattern you were shown on the mountain.” Well if you hadn't known what the author's main point was until now, at least for the last few chapters, you know it now. We have such a High Priest who is innocent, holy, and sinless who lives forever and serves forever. This High Priest is Jesus. He is the one who has sat down at the right of the throne of majesty. At the right hand of God, He serves as our High Priest, perpetually putting forth His blood before the Father's eyes, covering our sins and declaring it to be the propitiation for our sins. The Temple High Priest was appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices. Of course there were a number of "junior" priests who did a lot of the work of the temple and sacrificed the various sundry sacrifices brought by the people. These offerings, gifts and sacrifices were prescribed by the Law and were offered up by priests appointed by the Law. Jesus also had to bring some sacrifice, but not to the Temple on earth. He is not a priest for earthly service. The Law provided for those. He comes to be declared a High Priest by the oath of God to offer up heavenly sacrifices in the Temple above. He serves us and the Father as our High Priest in the true Holy Place and Tabernacle of God in Heaven, set up by God, not made by human hands. He offers up His body and His blood before the Father in Heaven who accepts them as the atoning sacrifice to make propitiation for our sins. The priest below only serves a copy. The author brings to mind these passages from Exodus: Ex. 25, 40 "And see that you make them according to the model you were shown on the mountain.” Ex. 26, 30 “Set up the tabernacle according to the plan you were shown on the mountain." I'm reminded of the Monty Python movie, "Quest for the Holy Grail," where Arthur's servant replies to the comment of how awesome Camelot looks with, "It's only a model." Indeed, the Tabernacle Moses built, the Temple Solomon built, and the Temple after the exile were only models of what Moses saw in heaven above. They were only a copy and shadow of the reality above. It's a little interesting that the Israelites were revealed this principle centuries before Plato and his cave were discussed. 🎥 Last three movies I watched and what I thought of them: (these are based on the ones I can remember/caught on TV cuz I don't go out to watch movies that often anymore)

John Wick 3- never watched a lit of the movies but ik for a fact I wasted the entirety of the 1st one, and the 3rd one just happened to be on so, yeah. Loved the movie, love Keanu.

Avengers: Age of Ultron- this used to be my favorite Avengers movie. I still love it to this day, but I got a bit tired of it after a while.

Guardians of the Galaxy- again, it was on at the time and decided to watch it. Really good movie, literally forgot Groot sacrificed himself in that
