Screaming.

Please do not do this but I just screamed for 30 minutes so here’s what you should know.

Can’t do it continuously for very long, have to stop to breathe (amount of time and breaths it takes to recover depends on how long you hold it)

It is EXHAUSTING. Seriously, if your whumpee has been screaming for more than thirty seconds multiple times, they won’t have ANY energy to fight back against the whumper. My head was hanging down for a bit because I was just so tired. The exhaustion also caused dizziness when I stood up. Also it’s been around five minutes and my throat still hurts super bad.

Oddly, I could still talk, maybe a bit of rasp in my voice but still effectively and fairly easily. (Again, about thirty minutes with tiny breaks)

Seriously when the exhaustion hits, it hits H A R D

Mouth kinda hurts too tbh

Heart beats pretty rapidly during and shortly after

My head hurts

Both hurts and helps to cough

Update an hour later: slightly hurts throat to talk

Moral of the story:

Don’t scream so much that you exhaust yourself,

Make your whumpee scream to the whumpers content

have some headcanons:

Both Chuuya and Dazai are ugly criers, except you wouldn't know it because they don't cry in front of many people. In Dazai's case, he rarely cries (emotionally constipated depressed man) and in Chuuya's case the only people who have ever seen him cry is Kouyou, Hirotsu (he was drunk), and Dazai. (Chuuya only sees Dazai cry a handful of times)

One night when Soukoku (17), they get drunk and find a stray stick of lipstick from Kouyou (she must've forgotten it when preparing Chuuya for an uncover mission) and Chuuya puts it on with strange ease while drunk. (Dazai wakes up the next morning covered in lipstick-kiss marks. Chuuya can't look at him in the eye for two days.)

Atsushi and Lucy both stumble through dating, and something always seems to go wrong on one of their dates (spilt drinks, clothes ripped, falling/clumsiness, losing something, etc.) They're trying their best. (Emotional Support Heteros)

Kunikida in canon is someone who cares a lot about the other characters under his care and would in reality never try to hurt anyone. But I like fics where is becomes an asshole because within his character that branch also makes sense when you consider how headstrong he is about his ideals. Bitch Kunikida, but only really if its him unintentionally pissing people off because he gets tunnel vision

Yosano & Ranpo have friend dates, they go out shopping and gossip about ADA happenings and constantly have bets running between them.

Everyone knew Lucy had a crush on Atsushi while the boy was clueless. The only way they confessed and got together is because Tanizaki thought Atsushi knew (he has too much faith in Atsushi's social skills bless him) and asked Atsushi why they aren't together yet (cause really, Atsushi was also obvious and Lucy was in denial)

Chuuya and Ranpo hate eachother but Chuuya begrudgingly tries to be civil with him because Ranpo is basically his brother-in-law. Ranpo, however, doesn't hold back. It pisses Chuuya off (he is teased constantly by both dazai and ranpo)

Speaking of a previous fandom post I just shared: I have Not stepped away from fandom this fall, I’m just dealing with some health stuff and I’ve been pretty short on the energy I usually have. I’m doing okay and should be all the way better soon! But energy has been going to real job and pottery (which is also real gig job with taxable $ involved but pottery is the art form I have consistently fallen back on for comfort the past decade). I still have so much interest in unfinished fics and art I hope to return to in the new year. And I’m still hoping to noodle out some drawpiles with @sango-blep as my body and energy level allow. But yeah, still here just working to keep my nose above the water.

I’m sick. My throat hurts so much. So I’m going to partially blame the sickness for how unhinged I’ve felt a couple times in the past few days. I avoided whatever Murble had for two weeks and then my brother got here and got sick within a couple days and I was really starting to feel it creep in about 3 days ago. Yesterday I realized that the past two weeks had been such a whirlwind that of course I was still feeling bad. A 20 minute nap isn’t going to cure exhaustion. So I mostly made myself sit around yesterday,

I finished putting ornaments on my trees. My brother did some with me while AuntAbides and my dad watched, I tend to keep my stuff up until sometime in February so there was no rush. I watched the Furiosa movie and some other stuff. And I went to bed at my ~normal~ time of about 8:30.

Went to CF for the first time on Saturday - god DAMN there were so many booths XD (I'm so happy I managed to get a Gallagher keychain and print ;;)

As for my merch: Tbh, I would have gotten more lycaon, gallagher, jane doe and/or acheron merch but they were either 1) not a particular artstyle I'd go for, not available or sold out ;; But the fact I found such good prints speaks a lot XD

Then I tried going to this charm booth for the little arcane ones - but they were all sold out ;; THEN I DISCOVERED THEY SELL TCGF AND MDZS AND I HAD TO MAKE THE CHOICE OF PICKING ONE OR THE OTHER 🥲

I’m aiming for 4” ish square, and I’m making A Bunch so I can give them to my endocrinologist’s entire staff because they have hugely improved my quality of life. Like. By leaps and bounds.
