I genuinely love how each character on the QSMP is living in a different genre, so two characters doing the same thing have different consequences, and it has different weight on their story / the QSMP narrative as a whole.

For example, Cellbit killing 4 Federation workers is treated very seriously, and we know his actions will have serious consequences in the future.

Meanwhile, Etoiles wiping out every single Federation worker on his way out of an infiltration mission is par for the course because man's living in a shonen anime.

I don't do these sorts of requests too often, especially in a row, but I think one of the most important things we can do when given a platform that reaches so many people is help lift others up and support them. There's a lot of rough stuff going on in the world... but I find that what's more powerful than all the negative noise is the kindness and consideration that can be shown by a single person. I really hope you feel better, anon, and the same goes for anyone whose been feeling down. This hug is for you!

pondering how to introduce Q's cats into the catboy Bond mix and okay here's the working idea

catboy Bond feels Very Territorial about it all however since he has a human brain he also has to Reel The Instincts In and act cordially with Q's cats

the cats, meanwhile, LOVE him. they take to him like when cats take to & adopt in a new kitten. catboy Bond is very disgruntled about this but he's Not Allowed to hiss at Q's cats about this and also You're Above Such Kittenish Behaviors, Bond, behave, so he has no choice but to put up with the indignities of being adored by Q's cats. They keep trying to groom him 😩😾 and he obviously can't groom them back to assert his dominance what with his human-size tongue, so he has to figure out all sorts of hijinks to try to discourage them from doing so. (it does not work and he has to grumpily settle himself down to being the kitten of the bunch even though he is older than them combined by a goodly number of years, thank you very much 😾😾)

thesis: the fact that dean's horndog persona is reduced so early in s2 - he and jo both admit that their mild attempts at flirting just aren't working out - wrong place wrong time wrong person - is because his dad has just died, but not in the way that you'd think. like, okay, he's just had a death in the family, he's depressed and confused, he's just not in the mood for nonstop sexual fun. part of it, certainly. but more largely - the persona was *for* the benefit of the person who would most scrutinize it - see, i'm doing masculinity, masculine men have sex with women and they have a ton of it, even when we're not in the same state, let alone the same bar, i'm doing it correctly and i'm doing it enthusiastically. there is nothing to worry about - but as soon as the man's gone it's nice to be able to drop the mask for a little bit and not put all that effort into constantly proving that you don't have something to prove . on account of nobody else in your life gives a shit

q!tubbo doesn't feel prepared to raise a kid, HE'S ONLY JUST STOPPED BEING A KID HIMSELF!! but he will try. for sunny, he will try his best. he wants to give her the world, to make sure she always knows she is first choice, that she is loved and adored and cared for.

bc q!tubbo never really felt that, and god forbid sunny ever feel the way he does. he will do his best to make sure she never wants for anything, that she is loved and knows it, and that she never feels like she's second place.

and in return, slowly but surely, q!tubbo feels what its like to be someone's first choice, to be loved unconditionally (even if told otherwise jokingly) and to be adored. because sunny adores him, he's her pa.

there's a lot that still hurts. he still feels like he isn't the other residents' priority and the days since seeing fred have grown too many to still have hope. but he has sunny. and sunny has him. they've got this.

I just know that if Ethan knew about Apollo's "I still hadn't decided if I wanted to steal Chiara from Damien or Damien from Chiara" line, he'd have been soo pissed. He fought an entire war to stop the gods from meddling in the lives of demigods for selfish reasons and their own entertainment and to get some respect for the minor deities and their children, only for big-name Olympian Apollo to get pissy because he can't fuck with the love-lives of two minor demigods.
