let's talk about taissa turner and her place in the yellowjackets hierarchy. she is the leader, the strategist, the logistic one. she was the voice of reason in both seasons ( along with nat and jackie), the person that goes against lottie's mythology and religion and visions believing that everything comes down to logic. Both in pre crash and in 2021 timeline, we see her as calculated and motivated, but also kind of aggravated when things don't go their way, determined to do things her OWN way to fix the problems in her life ( her wanting to put allie out so the yj could have more chances at winning / her choosing to continue her campaign even though sammy was not good mentally). But throughout the show, we see her to actions of kindness and love and support towards the rest of the cast. The way she loves Van, her taking care of Shauna in every possible way, the way she cherishes Sammy, protecting Nat in 2021 and always putting into rehab, even small things such as taking the lead for the yellowjackets to go from the airplane to the lake and later wanting to leave the house to find help even if that meant she went alone. Taissa who seemed to everyone else as a perfect politician and srtategist but she actually is very scared mentally and sleepwalks. Taissa who loved football more than anyone in the team and the one who hasn't even say anything about it in 2021. Taissa who seemed mean in the pilot but showcased her heart not even for minutes in episode 2. I believe you're far from being alone in this stance, anon! The sheer number of internet crowd that Ronaldo or Messi can drain is akin to the swifties or other internet phenomenon : it's lot of users that can together act quite dumb. Any crowd existing erases any nuances the people composing them, as individuals, could bring to discussions. I myself consider that what happened in those years is nothing less than disgraceful - from Luis Suarez's treatment and how Neymar's millions have been handled by Bartomeu, to how one of our biggest club legend has been fucked over by the board, and more specifically Laporta - who remains first of all an ex-lawyer and a politician - in an utterly shameful manner. Happy Birthday Robert Bernard Andrew “Bobby” Gillespie who was born June 22nd 1962 in Glasgow.

Most people would be happy being famous for being in one iconic band, but like our last Birthday Boy Jimmy Somerville, Bobby has been in two great Scottish groups, he was drummer for The Jesus and Mary Chain in the mid-1980s before going on to be a founding member of the alternative rock band, Primal Scream.

Born and raised in the south side district of Mount Florida in Glasgow, he attended Kings Park Secondary School. His father is Bob Gillespie was a union rep and aspiring politician. Before joining The Jesus and Mary Chain Bobby roadied for Clare Grogan’s Altered Images, later joining ex “Images” man Gerard “Caesar” McInulty in the indie pop band The Wake who had a wee bit success, notably playing support on tour with New Order

By 1982 he had already formed Primal Scream and splitting his time between the two groups before leaving The Jesus and Mary Chain to devote his time to the former in 1986. Although well known in the 80’s around the Scottish Indie scene it wasn’t until Screamadelica was released in 1991 that the band had their breakthrough, since then they have went on to be one of the most successful Scottish groups.

and the fact that the trial was so public because their family name is well-known in the equestrian and horse breeding community just made her revert into herself even more

she handed adler divorce papers, moved away from home (just to nightrest which is just like a 15 minute drive away but still) because she needed to distance herself from what had just happened to her family

Their abuse stretches to Gregory, as well. Wine is her drink of choice, and Gregory is convinced she doesn’t drink anything else. She prefers Mole to her son, and refuses to accept that he is gay. Instead of trying to hook Gregory up with a Good Girl, she keeps trying to hook Mole up.

Crofton Banks - Father of Pete Thelman - Ex-Boyfriend to Lily - 54 - FC: Lane Davies

Crofton is Pete’s father, and Lily’s ex-boyfriend. She was pregnant at 18, he was 24, and Crofton stayed with her and Pete until Pete was 3. He then couldn’t take lying to his family about why he wasn’t willing to marry Lily. He fled one night without a word, took a plane to New York, and never looked back. He left them with money for rent the next month, and to cover food and other expenses. He is a trust fund baby and never worked because he had to, but because he wanted to. He met his current fiancé while doing contracting for the mechanic he worked for.

Dennis Kennedy - Ghost; Lover to Arthur - Died in 2019 - 57 - FC: Jeffrey Dean Morgan

Dennis died of a brain aneurism at the age of 57, with no family in South Park and nobody to take care of his end-of-life expenses, he was taken care of by Father Maxi. He paid funeral costs and performed his funeral himself. Now, Dennis roams the graveyard, and has formed a very strong emotional relationship with Arthur, both in his proper timeline and in the current one he finds himself in. He’s usually in the graveyard, and so is Arthur, so they can spend time together.

With his familial ties to Rosie O’Donnel, Filmore managed to become something of a child actor. He worked in Hollywood, moving with his family, from first to eighth grade, and then moved back to South Park. His father was involvedin a scandal that killed his acting career. However, he wanted to stay in entertainment, and chose to be a Youtuber through the rest of school. He continues to do that and his music work on the side.

Jameson Chadwick - Husband to Charlotte - Father of Gregory Chadwick - 49 - FC: Daniel Craig

Jameson is a hard man to get along with. He is very business oriented and will not accept failure. His beliefs have also transferred to his son in a desperate attempt for approval. However, it is hard to gain, and he has never been very favorable of his son. He is very homophobic, due to thinking his wife is cheating on him with Mole’s mother. However, it could also be that he has had bisexual leanings in the past, and he refuses to accept that part of him.

Jeremy can be rather cruel and neglectful to Firkle, but adores Georgi like they’ve never done anything wrong. While his abuse to Firkle was never physical, that didn’t stop Firkle from hating him. Georgi is not fond of their parents, either, because of how they treat Firkle. Marie is the one that pulls all the strings, and he just lets her take control.

She is n’t afraid to hurt him and will do it especially if Georgi isn’t around to say something or know about it.

Also, I almost forgot, some people in the tags said Hermes (or someone else) should have paid for him, that's not how it works. Hermes' job was to bring the souls to the underworld and Charon's to take them across the river, Hermes couldn't be paying Charon for every dead soul he brought

Am I the asshole for not paying and dying?

So, I (M???) Technically died thousands of years ago. The thing is at that time my country and religion had the rule that the dead were buried with a coin to pay the dude that was taking them to the underworld.

But I was (and still am) really poor. So the God (M???) who collected the souls (We're gonna call him H) and guides them to the underworld left me at the side of the river where I had to take a boat

Then a boatman, let's call him C took me to the other side, when he asked me to pay I didn't have any money to pay him and actually enter the underworld

I suggested that H should pay for me since he was the one that brought me there but he said something like "As if I'll make any money from this business if I start paying for the dead too"

Well since I couldn't pay, I never really died and have been wondering around earth for a while now.

But recently my country officially changed religions and since the old gods gave everything to the new ones H and C had to do some paperwork in order to actually get retired

But they can't get retired since I am an unfinished business from the ex administration. Any time H tries to kill me (that guy has a lot of anger issues and hates my guts so it happens a lot) I'm sent up to heaven and an angel G(M?) has to bring me back down since I "am not a Christian and unfinished business" etc etc

H and C have been trying to find me a job so that I'll get paid, pay them and die so they can retire

So far I haven't been able to get paid, I guess I'm kind of sabotaging the whole thing since I don't want to die but also the country and the economy is shit, where would I find 1€ in this time and age?

So am I the asshole for not helping them retire by paying them and dying?
