to the anon who’d asked for more outfit moodboards, i decided to go and make make some more for each of the mikasa’s in my au’s and kind of explain my reasoning behind each!

i’m such a visual person, and to me, i think fashion is such an important part of a person’s personality, so i think a lot about my characters’ personal aesthetics, just because i think it helps me envision them as a character more!

so here are all the ones for mikasa in all my main au’s, and i’ll also include the previous ones i’ve done so they’re all in one place together!

to me, dol mikasa is very much “girl next door” kinda vibes! when i think of her, i think of a girl you’d have in one of your classes, like she’s the girl you see in class and think “oh, she’s pretty and dresses nice.” but she’s also a very simple person at the same time, and like half the fic, they’re at their apartments, so she’s also a pretty cozy/simple person at the same time! i also like to think she’s a bit girly, but not overly girly, so there’s a lot of softer colors in her style. BUT in addition to her softer and simple style, we have to remember dol mikasa was once a party girl, so there’s def the typical “going out” outfits in there too lol (also she wears scrubs five days a week, so she’s used to wearing a uniform so her being a bit simple with her fashion kinda makes sense) also i just imagine her wearing overalls, people who work with kids ALWAYS wear overalls to me in my head idk.

so the keywords i’d describe dol mikasa’s style are probably: comfortable & casual, but still a bit girly! she’d be djerf avenue if she were a brand!

so for bodyguard mikasa, i’ve mentioned that she really loves fashion, it’s one of her main indulgences! so she definitely cares a lot more about her clothes than say dol mikasa does. so for bodyguard mikasa, since she is rich, her style is definitely a bit more preppy, but she’s also an artist, so her style does have a bit more of a slight “quirky” and artistic flare to it! she def has a typical new york girl edge to her style too when i imagine it, and one of the key things to remember is her signature ribbon! so that sort of coquette aspect is def incorporated into her style, just a bit more with a “mikasa” touch! her style is definitely honed in to be more elevated considering she’s been forced to keep up appearances bc of her parents as well, so that’s one thing to keep in mind! i see her as a very “put together” person! as a result i see her kind of wearing a lot of stuff like flats and heels, things that make her look very “dressy”! she’s not a casual person by any means, she’s always dressed to the nines!

but i like to think once she meets eren, since he’s definitely way more casual than she is, her style starts to change a bit, and she’ll start wearing things like sneakers and stuff, something she probably didn’t wear as much!

the keywords id describe bodyguards style are probably: preppy with an artistic touch! but the particular brand that reminds me the most of her style is the mirror palais 2024 valentine’s day collection!

so for e2l mikasa, i think her style is probably my personal favorite, just because it’s the most similar to my personal style, but also because it’s just so fun! similar to bodyguard mikasa, e2l mikasa is also pretty artistically inclined, so her style is a bit colorful and fun! she definitely wears a lot of color, and i’d say it’s very whimsical! her style reminds me a lot of realisation par and mirror palais overall, that’s how i’d best describe it! since she’s an art curator, she definitely has to dress a bit more professional at work, so her style would have a lot of blouses and professional wear overall, but she still manages to incorporate fun pieces and include her personal style, so i don’t think she’d lose her fashion sense just because of her job.

overall i’d say her style is probably artistic and whimsy! it kinda reminds me of a european summer tbh!

because the foundation of this au was basically inspired by bella hadid and her boyfriend, when i think of model mikasa’s style, i think of bella hadid! but on top of that i also think of cute cowgirl inspired fashion! so i think model mikasa’s style is a mix of those two. i think she definitely is still gonna be a fashionable model, but once she becomes more intertwined with eren, she’s def gonna put her model flare on cowgirl fashion!

so i would describe her style very plainly as: high fashion! (which is why i just used images of off duty models haha)

so cowgirl mikasa is def opposite to model mikasa in regard to her cowgirl aesthetic. i def see cowgirl mikasa being a bit more “tomboy-ish” (i use that word extremely loosely)! like she’s definitely girly, but i see her wearing more casual things, so more sneakers, overalls, and t-shirts! she’s a working girl! so i think her style would be a lot of denim since she definitely has to make it work for her work life, but i think she would overall wear a lot of neutral tones with maybe a few fun prints! she just gives country girl basically but she’s a cutie LOL

i’d describe her style as maybe casual & maybe retro? idk the word to describe it but i think the moodboards make up for it LOL. the brand she reminds me of is tecova (a boot brand, very fitting)

okay for academic rivals mikasa, there’s this specific influencer i actually found that is the perfect person (tingting_lai on ig) for all of mikasa’s little socmed posts and her aesthetic, so i’m actually just basing her aesthetic off of hers LOL! i just kinda see this mikasa as someone who’s mostly fashionable and kind of well put together, but also simple, because this mikasa, if we’re being completely honest, is fucking uptight. she’s always stressed but cares a lot so i think she would wanna seem out together, but also sometimes can’t be bothered to do the most, so i think that’s why she’ll opt for simple things that look good! also i think sometimes she’ll opt for stuff like hoodies like a typical college student (and maybe she’ll end up stealing eren’s hehe)

so her style is probably: simple but put together! if she were a brand i’d say maybe aritzia!

i think it’s really fun to make all these moodboards and i def think it’s a fun way for me to characterize my characters! i love fashion so much so it’s honestly just something that i have fun doing! but i def don’t think it’s essential, more so something that i just really enjoy :)

How does Moon feel about Sun being forced to execute their ex?

Moon is as much traumatized as Sun but also ontop of their ex dying he thought he would lose Sun aswell when he fucking exploded himslef. It was all really bad for both of them and after this Moon became extremly protective over Sun and generally everyone he cares about (as seen in older posts where Moon desperatly tries to protect Y/N from old ones)

Guy has become way more standoff ish towards people because he is afraid of caring about someone deeply and then loosing them again.

Somehow he just immidiatly took a liking to Y/N after they were so nice to Sun so he immidiatly became overprotective. It didnt help that they are a witch and that reminds him of their ex. (He isnt comfusing his feelings for their ex with his feelings for Y/N mind you it is more complicated, a reminder of someone he failed to protect and now a new chance)

some very basic plot ideas:

(haunted) our muses are urban explorers, they find themselves inside an old abandoned theme park from decades ago, decaying from the inside out. while walking around, they discover that they haven't seen the way out, or any way out, even once. things are moving that shouldn't be, and they are hearing more and more off putting noises. what happens when the spirits finally show themselves? how will our muses appease them, or fight to escape?

(apocalypse) muse A and muse B are life long enemies, constantly trying to one up the other always hating being around each other. when t forced to work together on a work project and and the apocalypse hits, they are forced to either let their pettiness win and be alone through all of this horror, or stay together and try to survive as a team. various traumatic events bond them closer and closer until they discover hidden feelings beneath layers of vines. enemies to lovers

okay so similar to the mikasa ones, here are all the ones for eren and my thought processes behind them!

i think men’s fashion tends to be a little less versatile than women’s fashion by a long shot, so i think there’s definitely a lot less diversity and variation between my eren’s compared to my mikasa’s! i think each of my mikasa’s have a specific “aesthetic” whereas my eren’s more so have more of a color palette/vibe to their style because i think there’s only so much you can do with men’s clothing tbh unless you’re aiming for a super curated aesthetic (e.g. cowboy eren)! so i think they’ll have a lot of overlap tbh, but this is kind of how i envision them all! and again i’ll include the moodboards i’ve made previously!

i think dol eren and mikasa both have this very “boy next door” and girl vibe to them, like i don’t wanna call them “basic” per se, but it’s a very sort of typical and like almost expected vibe you’d expect of average 24 year olds. for eren, since he works a more physically demanding job, i imagine him being a very casual person. i also just see most guys being casual in general, so wearing a lot of like solid/vintage graphic tees and then whatever random bottoms on a day to day basis if he’s not doing anything special! i imagine the only time he dresses up is when he goes out with mikasa, because she’s the only person who he cares to really impress (hence the chapter about their date), so he’d have some nicer clothes for when he has nice things to attend, but they’re only reserved for things like that!

i see him wearing the most of: t-shirts, hoodies/sweatshirts, the occasional nice button up. idk dol eren would be uniqlo if he were a brand. he is a GOOD QUALITY, LOYAL, and DEPENDABLE! when has uniqlo EVER done you wrong??? like it’s simple but it’s tried and true man, for good reason!!!

bodyguard eren is a casual guy but he’s like the emo version in my head lol. like bodyguard mikasa’s colors in my head are red/pink/white, and bodyguard eren’s are black/green/grey—he wears a lot of darker colors essentially! mikasa obviously is the more fashion forward one in this relationship, and eren is def more casual lol, he basically just wears all black or some variation of a neutral outfit bc he’s a very simple and apathetic man lol, he doesn’t really care. but similar to how eren inspires mikasa to dress more casual, mikasa would def play ken doll with eren and buy him clothes lol, so i think he’d dress up a bit more too! but i don’t think she’d ever force him to wear anything he didn’t like, i just think eren dresses casually bc it’s simple and easy, and he’s just a laxxed man.

he would be converse bc i see him begrudgingly taking his shoes off when mikasa pisses him off and he’s struggling to get them off in ample time bc they’re high tops lol

(also there’s a cardigan bc mikasa would so put him in a cardigan lol)

okay after model eren, i think e2l eren is the second best dressed, and this is solely because him and mikasa were together for so long LOL, she played build a boyfriend! like his style comes from her! but eventually after being together so long he does sort of develop his own sense of style but like the foundation of his style IS mikasa. so i think his style kinda emulates the same kind of vibe as hers, idk how that translates in male description. he would dress up a little more than some of the other eren’s and probably wear a bit more color too! def has that vacation-y vibe too. also e2l eren is a graphic designer, so he has that artsy boy vibe to him a bit too!

he’d be zara bc mikasa definitely introduced him to zara while they were dating lol

i feel like this one doesn’t need much explanation, we all know cowboy eren is just a hot, sexy cowboy. he’s a working man and he has to dress accordingly!!!! (and for whatever reason we’re all very oddly attracted to it) (it’s bc it’s eren) but i think for mikasa’s fancier events he would dress up, and occasionally omit the cowboy hat if need be lol

he is boot barn lol. and maybe levi’s.

model eren to me is obviously the BEST DRESSED out of all the eren’s, like this is an obvious given. he’s a model! of course he’s gonna be the most fashionable! to me, he screams pretty boy lol, so he’s going to dress and act accordingly lol. it’s one of the main things that mikasa also makes fun of him for too. so i think of his style as very tailored, very classic, but also some fun and a bit more stylized pieces! i think he would wear a little bit of everything, so he would dress super fancy some days, but then have some more casual pieces too! but then once he kind of stays in montana with his family, he’ll def kind of his model mikasa moment and have the little bit of cowboy flare to his style a bit too!

he would be all saints! or some niche expensive brand im probably too poor to afford

academic rivals eren is kinda my favorite to talk about bc he’s kinda funny LOL he’s basically frat boy adjacent and it makes me giggle. he’s literally what you’d think of when you’d think of an obnoxious little frat boy in the most stereotypical way (not in the board shorts and polos way tho omg), although he isn’t technically one! his style is definitely pretty casual, so he’d definitely wear a lot of t-shirts and flannels, but since he’s a bit well off, i think he’d wear a lot of stuff like golf wang and more expensive sneakers! i see eren as kinda basic tbh lol he’s a simple man but i think he’d have his occasional indulgences lol (and golf wang stuff is SO comfy). he’s just your tried and true college boy in my opinion!

he would be golf wang & converse (but not for the reasons stated above).

i won’t lie i feel like this one gave me more grief than the one for mikasa did lol like i definitely had to think about it a bit more! men’s fashion is way harder to me so i had to be a lot more considerate about each eren and their vibes, but this was fun!
