Lots and lots of random spoilerific things about Star Trek comics

Gold Key's old run was written by people who had never actually seen the show. Later they involved fans like Doug Drexler to make things a bit more authentic

This however made them, IMHO, amazing

Blond scotty. Wearing green.

Voodoo planet, with papier mache versions of Earth landmarks which, when blasted with a death ray, cause the real ones to collapse

Spock learns voodoo to combat this threat

The Enterprise completely razes a planet of hostile plant spore things. Like full on extermination of all life

There's a locked room on deck 7 full of evil Vulcan spirits. A yeoman blunders in and all hell breaks loose

Kirk doesn't know what a god damn black hole is

Spock is kidnapped by aliens, has their entire knowledge downloaded into his brain which makes him into a bobblehead for awhile

The Enterprise is briefly taken from Kirk and given to Captain Zarlo, who is a total bellend

Spock forgets to have pointed ears sometimes

The old UK newspaper comic strips were even worse. The first few issues feature "Captain Kurt" and he wears a red shirt. Bailey is also a lead character, giving away which one episode they had knowledge of

Depictions of the Enterprise in their very first strip will shock and horrify you, but after that the art becomes amazing and maintains a very high standard

Marvel did a series following The Motion Picture, and it was a vast improvement, although they technically had rights to the movie and not the series, which led to a little weirdness. Tons of references still were snuck in, though

There's a series of Book and Records, which you can listen to on YouTube and are goofy fun. The Enterprise desperately needs a meal in the art, though.

They draw Romulans as green wizards

They didn't have the rights to Nichelle Nichols or George Takei's likenesses, so get ready for White Uhura and Black Sulu!

They didn't have the rights to The Animated Series either, so M'Ress is a human with weird face paint and Arex is substituted for just some guy

There's an unlicensed Chinese adaptation of The Motion Picture's novelisation (made with zero prior knowledge of Star Trek), which features an all-star cast like O.J. Simpson as Decker and James Brolin as Kirk. It's called The Star Trek, which is a better name than The Motion Picture, IMHO.

DC comics' first run is considered some of the best Trek ever. They're made with love and a deep knowledge of the source material

You know how Star Trek III takes place right after II? WRONG. It was several months later and the crew (with Saavik taking over from Spock) had tons of adventures in the interim. It just seemed like it was right after😂

Before Worf and long long before Ash Tyler, Kirk had a Klingon on his crew

He was a cowardly Klingon named Konom who fled the Empire

He fell in love with a human woman named Bryce

They adopted an albino Klingon/human child with dwarfism which they named Bernie

Kirk has an unhinged, insubordinate crewman on board named Bearclaw and they hate each other

Tension escalates and eventually there's a stabbing

Sulu/M'Ress happens and I don't think people knew what furrys were in the 80's

You know how Spock comes back at the end of III but isn't his old self until the end of Star Trek IV? WRONG AGAIN. He came back just fine, and lost his marbles following an incident months later that just happened to line everything up to make it all seem like it was right after.

After STIII, Kirk becomes captain of the U.S.S. Excelsior NX-2000 and Spock becomes captain of the U.S.S. Surak. We get a few issues exclusively focusing on Spock's ship and his band of merry weirdos.

The U.S.S. Surak keeps changing design, starting off as a sort of Oberth-class ship, then randomly becoming an Excelsior-class ship and finally ending as the warp sled shuttlecraft from The Motion Picture

The Surak's crew include a giant chicken man, a Vulcan hating racist lady and a balding man with a bicycle

They all die horribly and a massive reset button is pressed so everyone is exactly where they were at the end of Star Trek III

In order to make that work they had to bs that the Klingon Bird of Prey was hidden in Excelsior's shuttlebay all this time despite it being way, way too big for that

There's a full on mirror universe invasion

Kirk becomes a celebrity from saving the galaxy all the time

Mr. Arex comes back and becomes chief of security but doesn't really do much

HORTA CREWMEMBER. It's as amazing as it sounds

The first Next Generation comic miniseries was made with knowledge of the first 2 or 3 TNG episodes and nothing else

Everyone is hench as fuck. Picard has washboard abs and bulging muscles

Data is emotional and Troi feels the emotions she senses a la "Encounter at Farpoint"

Wesley is drawn as if he's 10

The B-shift con and ops team are a husband and wife who wear caped superhero versions of Starfleet uniforms with bare legs.

They argue. A lot.

The crew meet an alien Santa Claus and Q loses his powers years before "Deja Q"

The whole Q Continuum visits the Enterprise and they're all John De Lancie but in Starfleet uniforms of every colour under the sun.

After that initial miniseries, the Next Gen crew lose a lot of their muscle mass and start resembling their on screen counterparts a lot better

Picard had a brother who fell down a hole and died as a child. Q offers to rewrite history so he doesn't die. Claude Picard grew up to be Space Superhitler and turns Starfleet and the Federation fascist.

Before all this Q turned Jean-Luc into a goat for the lolz

Marvel's The Early Voyages was very literally Strange New Worlds before Strange New Worlds.

They have a pyrokinetic security officer named Nano and he's awesome

Marvel lost the Trek license quite suddenly, and so the series ends on a cliffhanger where Admiral April is up to something iffy.

Marvel did a Starfleet Academy series featuring Nog and its utterly fantastic

A female Andorian cadet tries to make Nog feel at ease by greeting him in the nude, but Nog fails to take it as an innocent gesture and she immediately sends him flying across the room

Romulan agents with split personalities in Starfleet Academy!

They visit Talos IV and get help from Captain Pike, who's still alive

IDW comics did a prequel to the 2009 reboot where Picard is an ambassador, Data is captain of the Enterprise-E and Nero has hair. It was co-written by the movie writers and was considered sort of vaguely semi canon ish for a time

They originally wanted the Romulan supernova to destroy a lot more, including Earth and have Nero kill the TNG crew. It was the Star Trek Online devs that got them to scale things back because they'd have no universe left to set their game in.

Nero's ship looks like it does because after Romulus was destroyed he took it to a secret Romulan base and had it equipped with reverse-engineered Borg technology

You thought DC struggled to keep ship designs correct? IDW's comics keep using traced fan art from Google Images, and fan art (sometimes with unique ship designs) has shown up on multiple occasions as the Kelvinverse U.S.S. Enterprise

In one IDW TOS comic, the bridge is totally covered with TNG LCARS graphics.

In another, an Orion ship is a gigantic Stargate sticking out of the middle part of Battlestar Galactica.

Wanna see Kelvinverse versions of TOS episodes? That was their first comics run, picking up after the 2009 reboot movie. They start off very faithful and as the series goes on things diverge more and more

To the extent some stories have very different backstories and outcomes

We visit 2 Kelvin mirror universes and a genderswapped universe too. No, Kirk doesn't do what you're thinking.

Q visits the Kelvin Universe and brings the crew forward in time to their version of Deep Space Nine

Nero's time in Klingon prison (from the Star Trek 2009 deleted scenes) and escape is fleshed out

Nero meets V'ger.

Nero mind melds with V'ger.

V'ger turns away due to the sheer force of Nero's hatred.

I wish I was making that up.

Klingons get their hands on Narada's technology and go to war

We get a Khan backstory where the Eugenics Wars are a full on nuclear conflict and "Khan" is the title that little Noon Sing adopts when he takes power

After being revived in the 23rd century, Admiral Marcus has Khan surgically altered to look like Benedict Cumberbatch as part of his John Harrison cover identity

They did a series of shorts called Waypoint, and in the first one Geordi is captain of a future Enterprise and his crew is made up of holographic versions of Data and it's a really sweet concept (this was several years before before ST: Picard brought Data back twice)

There's a prequel series centred around Number One where nobody manages to say her name before being interrupted. If you put the bits together it seems her name was Eureka Robbins. Of course, this is long before novels and SNW made her Una Chin-Riley.

Hello, I think I've found some interesting games that deal with magic in some shape or form, from witches, to necromancers, to evil wizards!

Everyday Enchanter, by Beth and Angel Make Games.

We all face all sorts of struggles in our lives, but what if we could lean on a little bit of hidden magic to help us through it?

Everyday Enchanter is here to help! Enchant your glasses with VIBRANCY to allow you to feel wide awake when you put them on, give your favorite shirt RESILIENCE to make physical and mental pain feel more manageable, and when things really get bad, snuggle up to your favorite GROUNDED-enchanted stuffed animal to regain a feeling of safety and control.

To make the enchantments stronger, simply focus on them in times of need! The Magus, by momatoes.

The Magus is a solo journaling tabletop RPG that takes you on a sweeping journey for power, ambition, and arcane mastery, at great personal and interpersonal cost.

As a journaling game, you will roll dice, track stats, create spells, and write  imaginary experiences from the perspective of your character: a wizard, newly embarking on their quest for power, their head filled with grand visions of mastery.

This RPG is crunchy. You will use several polyhedral dice to manage four traits: Focus, Power, Control, and Scars, which shape how the protagonist overcomes  challenges and meets their denouement after seven, fateful events. 

This game is also beautiful. It has a number of stunning images used as backdrop against the text of the game, illuminating each part of your character sheet before diving into the meat of the game. The game itself pits your character between two choices: increasing the bonds between them and their loved ones, or sacrificing those opportunities to gain in power. You’ll roll a number of dice equal to your power in order to learn more spells, which are created using a combination of prompts and your own imagination.

Miscast, by Paradox Press Games.

You are undergoing training to become the successor of a Master Conjurer, but the only problem is that the Master Conjurer has a major Dragon's Dust addiction and spends most of their days higher than the mountains of Mar' Hollok. This leaves you solely responsible for your own training while also having to conjure up the creatures that eager customers come to your Master’s shop seeking. Long story short, you miscast spells a lot and end up conjuring a wide assortment of weird and fantastical monsters.

This game can be played solo, or it can be played in a group. You are using a deck of cards and a d6 to conjure different kinds of creatures; unfortunately, you’re only an apprentice, so the creatures don’t always come out right. You’ll use the cards from the different suits to determine the physical aspects of the monster, while you’ll use the d6 to determine how big the monster is, the monster’s nature, and what further Abnormalities it might be suffering. A game for funny random creatures, great for getting your creative juices going!

Sigils in the Dark, by Kurt Potts.

You have a need, a deep burning needthat drives you. Is it love, regret, desire?

The darkness whispers, “I can help you…”Minutes turn to hours as you try to focuson the voice. Symbols, shapes, swirl in thedarkness at the edge of your perception.If only you could grasp them, your needs would be met and more.

Sigils in the Dark is a journaling game and GM supplement. The goal of the game is to create an evil mage’s spellbook. You’ll take up the role of this wizard with a desperate need, in search of arcane power to get what they want. They will try to understand dark sigils just outside their perception by randomly generating spells and adding liner notes to their grimoire. In the end, you’ll have an in-game artifact that you can pass on to players and hopefully know a little more about what your evil mage has sacrificed to get where they are.

Using random roll tables, you’ll slowly create an artifact and a number of spells invented by a dark wizard. Each spell will also have a cost, and the wizard may choose to write notes that betray their own personality as they edit the spell the way an expert baker edits a recipe book.

 This is great for slow character creation, as you try to figure out the motives and goals of a wizard character, and can also put together pieces of their life before they meet anyone else.

The Final Undertaking, by kay w.

Tonight you will prepare the body. You will hang the heavy black curtain, and you will put out the call in the town paper.  Tomorrow night, when the sun sets, the chosen mourner will arrive, with their matter to discuss. You will sit with the body on one side, coaxing the soul back to the body, and the mourner will sit on the other.  The final undertaking will begin.

THE FINAL UNDERTAKING is a one player journaling game about grief, resolution, necromancy, and a town. It uses a d4, a tarot deck, and pen and paper to tell a story about an undertaker, who works in a town to prepare bodies for burial, briefly brings the spirit back to the body, and then facilitates a conversation between a single mourner and the deceased about their unresolved business.

In this game, you will use the tarot cards to form a spread that tells the bones of a story -- the deceased, the object they are being buried with, the mourner here to visit them, and the unresolved business between them. From your spread, you will be able to construct small narratives and write them down as journal entries. 

This is a lovingly written and designed game about putting the dead to rest. You will write journal entries from the point of view of an Undertaker, someone who is responsible for facilitating one last conversation between the spirit of the deceased and their mourner. You will play through 3 phases, which involve determining how well you knew the deceased, the situation at death, and what needs to be resolved before they can pass on to their final rest.The book comes with an oracle of Solemnities, which give you prompts to help you interpret each spread. You can play through the three phases as many times as you like, journaling for each one.

Grimoire, by Anna Landin.

Sparks of magic dance on your palms, flow like rivers through the world around you, and you can weave them into something powerful. You are a witch - and just as a tailor draws their patterns out, and cooks will write their well-kept secret recipes down, so you, too, will bind your spells in ink and paper and make for yourself a grimoire - a spellbook in which to keep your knowledge.

Grimoire is a roleplaying game for one person, played with a deck of regular playing cards with the jokers taken out, a six-sided die, and something to write your spells down with. The latter can be a blank notebook or a sketchbook, or one of the templates provided with these rules. Over the course of the game, you will make a spellbook of your own, a collection of spells you craft out of magic power and components available to you.

If you desire a character that’s a bit less evil wizard and a bit more homebrew witch, Grimoire is another great way to put together a spell book using randomly generated prompts and whatever components your witch has available.

What dnd class would each character play as? I can just see Monkey telling the rest of the MM that they can't all be barbarians when they played for the first time 🤣

What D&D Class are the Metal Maniacs?

Firstly, thank you for asking because after the game night post I low key was having brain rot about this lmao!!

Secondly, you are so right. The way that Tork was 100% the first one to be like “I’ll play a barbarian” and then everyone just jumps on the rage bandwagon until a very exasperated Monkey is like YOU CANT ALL BE BARBARIANS!!! That being said- here’s what I think everyone else would play as!

Taro Kitano - I feel like for obvious reasons Taro would want to play a Samurai Fighter. He already follows Bushidō in real life, so being able to play as a Samurai would be the easiest thing to get into character for him. After like two or three sessions, Taro actually gets absurdly attached to his character too. He’d never show it, but Monkey 100% has fudged a roll or two to keep his Samurai alive if Taro starts rolling bad.

Tork Maddox - Like I mentioned before, Tork claimed Barbarian first so he’s the only one who actually gets to play the class. Specifically, he would be a Path of the Giant Barbarian. He basically just makes his character a giant ass beating machine so that he can protect the rest of the party. An evil wizard can’t cast spells if he’s too busy choking down a knuckle sandwich.

Monkey McClurg - Monkey, despite being the forever DM of this group, would play a Battle Smith Artificer if he had the chance. I mean come on! He’s basically one already! Look at Sparky!!! He loves to tinker and that what artificers are all about baby! He settles for making his theoretical character an NPC in a shop the part passes through until he can actually play them.

Porkchop Riggs - Circle of the Shepherd Druid. It’s a great support class, AND HE GETS TO SHAPE SHIFT INTO A BEAR??? Uh yeah sign him up for that!!! It also gives him an excuse to have a pig companion. Plus, with Porkchop having the Speech of the Woods feat, it makes it way easier for Monkey to sneak exposition and plot hooks into the game play just by having Porkchop’s Druid overhear woodland creatures gossiping.

Mark Wylde - I see Mark as an Oath of Vengeance Paladin. Especially, if it’s before he makes amends with Kurt. Monkey would help him write him a ‘terrible and nondescript sibling character’ into his characters back story that he could have fictional beef with to work through some of that trauma. Cause that what D&D is all about folks. Catharsis. After him and Kurt start talking things out though, I think it might be fun for him to possibly develop into an Oath of Devotion Paladin - his devotion being to keep his party safe.

I would love to give a recommendation for the authors Kirakiwi. I think all their stories deserve more attention, especially the current WIP "The Obsidian Castle" with dark wizard Kurt and optimistic puppeteer Blaine. I think the idea is very original and it is very well written. Also, on tumblr they post images for the chapters every week which enhances the reading experience.

Enchanted Paris Doom Trio WITCHORIOUS Premieres Astounding Full-Length

~Doomed & Stoned Debuts~

This debut LP by WITCHORIOUS is without doubt one of the finest doom metal offerings the year has given us. Antoine Auclair (guitar/vocals), Lucie Gaget (bass/vocals), and Paul Gaget (drums) have assembled a thoughtful collection of 10 tracks that draw upon the themes of classic horror and traditional doom metal, with prolific drumming, sinister guitar, and surreal atmosphere.

We begin with the ominous "Monster," which is surely the musical equivalent to a brooding stormfront. Each instrument brings its unique powers to the whole, generating a menacing sound that got me slow headbanging immediately. Vocals have the same Medieval gruff as classic Morgoth, full of prophetic dread.

The roars of "Catharsis" approach Domkraft levels of fierceness. With male and female vocals in the chorus, the effect is mesmerizing. The track following this is deeply atmospheric, with its fuzz-filled intro and repeated arpeggios forming a thick haze that bedazzles the listener into a strange, trancelike state. Appropriate considering this is "The Witch."

"Blood" is deliriously good. Again the riffs are on point! You'd have to go back to BelzebonG's Sonic Scapes & Weedy Grooves to find riffs this pure. The beat never lets up; it's a steady driver all the way through, keeping the narrative moving forward. Verses feature another lusty vocal performance and the chorus has tons of heart. I was happy there was room for a guitar solo.

"Eternal Night" has an unsettling vibe akin to the band Demon Lung. When the solo erupts towards the end, it sounds like something between a siren and a sax, but it could be a guitar effect or synthesizer. Whatever it is, it's effective in bringing a chilling climax to the moment.

Once again, it's the vocals that make a song like "Sanctuaire" so convincing -- and this is to say nothing of the incredible drumming, subtle basswork, and atmospheric guitar play. Even the sequence of "heys" at 4:31 were dripping with the angst of instability, making me think of Kurt Cobain and Mark Arm.

After a brief interlude ("Amnesia") we're ushered into the album's final three songs. The vocal attack on "Watch Me Die" is just savage, utterly convincing, and the doomy guitar chords match the mood. "To The Grave" is chill by contrast, with acoustic strumming that allow Antoine and Lucy to vary their vocal delivery and range, as they're not competing with loud instruments.

Finally, comes "Why" (the longest track after "Sanctuaire" at 7:20). This one has a grooving bassline, bittersweet riffmaking, slappin' drums, and clear, sincere singing with a certain Ozzyesque mystique. The guitar solo is soulful and grungy with plenty of stoner sway.

Witchorious drops Friday, February 16th on vinyl, CD, and digital via Argonauta Records (get it here). Don't pass this one by! Stick it on a playlist with Amen-Ra, Beastmaker, Lord Vicar, Famyne, and Purple Hill Witch.

SOME BUZZ

Witchorious is a doom metal band from Paris, France. Founded in 2019, the trio is composed of Antoine Auclair (guitar/vocals), and brother and sister Paul (drums) and Lucie (bass/vocals) Gaget. Their first two singles “3 AM” and “Evil Creature” came out of darkness in 2020.

Their music blends bluesy riffs inherited from Black Sabbath, aggressive sounds supported by fuzzy bass lines in the likes of Electric Wizard, and intense atmospheres inspired by bands like Amenra and Mastodon. All this led by adventurous and solid drums, spawning modern chaotic doom metal songs with enraged vocals. Between screams and whispers, Antoine and Lucie’s voices have us travel from incantations to outpouring of despair. Each track will immerse you in the darkness of your mind, where you will keep looking for answers.

Dying to meet their audience, Witchorious played more and more gigs and opened for The Wytches in Paris and Westill Fest in November 2023. Witchorious’s debut album will be released in February 2024 through Italian label Argonauta Records. The album was recorded in Paris at Studio Sainte-Marthe by Francis Caste and contains 10 tracks that address psychic duality, human vice, and the inevitable fate of the world along with hellish fuzzy riffs.

Says the band:

"Initially, after the release of our double single, we were thinking of releasing a first 5-track EP. However, the health crisis dragged on and writing, like most bands, became our main activity. The writing of the album took around two years, with numerous arrangements on the tracks. The initiative for a track usually comes from a guitar riff and the vocals, and then we get together and each of us adds its own touch. We transform the song, the rhythm, its structure, until it sounds ‘Witchorious’. We wanted to create more modern sound and structures to avoid doing doom that we���ve all heard before.

"In the lyrics, we express our frustrations and self-awareness. The album deals with mental conflicts and psychological distress, the influence of human beings on their environment and on others... We were also keen to develop the character of the witch, who for us is a figure that represents oppressed minorities, whatever they may be. The witch frightens, disturbs and revolts, but at the same time fascinates and survives through the ages. We’ve had a lot of fun with the clichés of the genre, particularly around everything religious and satanic, because it creates an occult atmosphere that we love.

"This album is a concentration of our influences, a first step towards showing who we are, what our sound identity is, and what we have to say. By the time the album was recorded, the songs had really matured, and we fully focused on sound and ambiance. Francis helped us emphasize the evil aspect of the compositions, to make the whole thing sound really haunted."

1990s Hip Hop Playlist

Hell yeah, some 90s underground rap and turntablist shit for your earholes! I’ve had a version of this playlist up on YouTube for a minute now, but I finally just got around to starting one for Spotify. So, for now, this thing leans heavily on west coast acts, with contributions from the likes of Rasco, The Visionaries, Lootpack, Insane Poetry, and Evidence and Joey Chavez, but we’ve got some of that raw and gritty New York street fare from the legendary D.I.T.C. crew and Missin’ Linx as well, plus some Midwest representation from turntable wizard Mr. Dibbs and clever horrorcore wordsmiths Bizarre, Eminem, and Fuzz Scoota. Just lots of dope beats, verses, and record scratches all throughout this thing; bet on it.

Also, I feel like I should mention that the Missin’ Linx song, “M.I.A.,” uses the same samples from David McCallum’s “The Edge” that Dr. Dre used for his own much more widely known classic, “The Next Episode.” But guess which one came out first? That’s right, the Missin’ Linx track! Can’t prove it beyond a shadow of a doubt, but it sure sounds like Dre heard “M.I.A.” and then decided to make his own tune using those same David McCallum samples. Some people might even go so far as to label that as an act of beatjacking 👀😅.

5 Times Kitty met an ex of EW!Kurt

N/A: Do I like the mean Ex trope? Yes, but not all of them will be the crazy ex. Also, healing Kitty is the one I´m basing this ask.

Requesting healing from Zaorva is not an extravagant procedure, however, this princess-the one of a prestigious lineage- called for Kitty´s services rather quickly and the healer has no choice but to comply.

Once arriving at the palace-the word opulence comes to mind along with decadency- the princess has a smirk on her pretty face and is twirling her hair as she has such a condescending aura regards Kitty.

"I´m the healer of Zaorva, I heard there´s a case of dragon pox returning to the kingdom, do you need help with the vaccines?" she asked not fully grasping what this princess expect Kitty to do. "I can´t resurrect the dead, but I can make sure the living won´t suffer "

The Princess only smirks. "There´s no case of dragon pox here!"

Kitty titled her head. "So you want me to teach the healers of the kingdom how to prepare for a pandemia?"

"No, I wanted to see Kurt´s new girlfriend, has he ever mentioned about me?"

Kitty never in her life wished for a dragon pox as much as she is wishing now.

"No, I had no idea who you are until you request me to come here," there´s this concelled anger on her. "So you ask me to come here just to see my face?"

The princess is mentioning something, surely, but Kitty only sighs and replied. "I´ll triple my price now"

The princess still doesn´t get what Kurt sees in this mere healer.

By all accounts, elves no longer exist, at least not how books and painting depicted them, what does exist is the second generation of elves who, in order to survive, mate with many species.

She is invited to do a seminary about health and magic. The elves- the third generation can reclaim the word but has still some issues about how some artists depicted them- invited Kitty for her expertise.

Moreover, Kitty is an outsider and has an elf monitoring her every move, for safety reasons.

The lady elf is undeniable pretty.

"So, you´re the necromancer´s new paramour? I heard great things about you!" she flips her pretty fair hair and looks up and down to Kitty.

Kitty is still awestruck at the beauty of said elf lady.

"I heard you´re a fantastic healer" she exclaimed.

"Pretty," she said in a loopy way.

The elf lady tilted her head. "You too find women attractive?"

Kitty nods her head.

The elf lady is at the loss of words.

"I wasn´t expecting this" the elf lady used glamour to disguise her beauty.

Kitty stares at the elf lady. The elf lady stares back.

"So, you´re the necromancer´s lover?"

"Nice tits"

In the end, the seminary was a success and Kitty is more than happy to leave the kingdom as the elf lady truly didn´t get the answer she was expecting it.

The third case was on Kitty is called to help with pregnancy. A woman wants to get pregnant but is afraid of the possible diseases the child may inherited-her family had a bad medical history- and Kitty is more than glad to help.

The woman is really pretty.

"I´ve to confess, I have an ulterior motive to pick you, I heard you were Kurt´s lover and I want to see you" she confessed and Kitty sighs and rolls her eyes.

"Relax, I´m more than happy with my husband and my life, but I never thought Kurt, of all people, would fall in love," she remarks.

"You call him Kurt...was an amicable breakup?" she asked impressed.

"We never date, per se, it was just sex but yes, you could say it was amicable...but can I ask how you two fall in love? That man has a wall around his heart" she asked curiously.

"I want to say this is a personal question and nothing to do with my profession, but, what the hell, I´m too old to care," Sigh she said. "I don´t know, maybe it's because I´m immortal as he is, I don´t know...I didn´t seduce him if that´s the general consensus"

"I see, anyway, back to the real reason for your visit...so, my family has poor eye-sight"

"Well, if it´s severe, the temple has the means to fix it,"

Cerise returns from her planet and is shocked to see Kitty is dating Kurt, not for the typical reasons but for one reason alone.

"I thought you and Rachel were dating"

"Oh, no, we´re just friends. I´m older than her mother, that would be a bit weird, even more as I help deliver her"

Conventionally speaking, a trip on a pool of your blood is not very pleasing. Even less so, if your arm was ripped off and you´re being monologue by a woman who has more cleavage than anything else.

"So you´re the Necromancer´s lover? rather pathetically" the woman tsked in annoyance. "What he even saw in you?"

Kitty takes a long deep breath. Of course, this was an ambush by one of his crazes exes.

Of course, she is delusional enough to kill Kitty.

The girl is regenerating her hand, the pain is still screaming in her mind until her arm is fully regenerated.

Turns out, the screams aren´t so much a metaphor as it´s a real fact.

The necromancer located Kitty first and the ex is not getting the happy reunion she was hopping.
