the fact that even in earlier times when carla was objectively mean, ruthless and overall unpleasant to be around (but extremely hot), you can see glimpses of the fact that at her core she is good, especially to those she perceives as weaker than her/in need of protection. i’m on a 2008 rewatch and she’s clearly always had a soft spot for sean and genuinely cared for rosie when tony involved her and used her for the whole deal with kevin. i love how over the years she showed this trait more and more that it became a core point of her personality because she simply stopped feeling like she had to bark AND bite to be respected and could be more like her true self (saver of bees and wasps and all that)
