I’m a little sad that they seem to be going down the “Becky was a bad wife” route because. God it’s just infinitely more interesting if Lisa was the bad wife.
Not that she didn’t love Becky, but that she just wasn’t in a place where she was able to be a good partner. If she was the sort of person Becky didn’t feel safe confiding in about the trouble she was in at work. If she was a detective first, and a wife and mother second.
The tragedy of Lisa only learning how to let herself feel her emotions, allowing herself the space to learn to be a good partner after Becky’s already gone????? Delicious!!!

thinking a lot about swarla on this sunday (when am i not lol) and i actually don’t love how becky is gonna turn out to be bent for sure and this means they’re taking the carla is the true love of lisa’s life route. i think it’d be much more refreshing and realistic to see a you can have multiple loves in your life take without erasing or villainizing previous relationships in the name of true love™️ idk
