The faces change the context of the kiss to being playful and it matches their dynamic more. For my little evil bastards A!A is always a match and I'm glad the expressions have allowed me to get into better rp because there's NO way Tomie would be even the least bit scared of him <3 He's technically not ascended yet of course but I'm sure as hell gonna use the kisses anyway lol

What happens when you put a Bhaalspawn and a Vampire Lord together?

A never ending power struggle and LOTS of sexual tension lol

As lovely as the evil dark urge x ascended Astarion power couple posts are, if you choose to embrace Bhaal you only have two endings. Either you control the elder brain and make all your companions your thralls, or you defy Bhaal and lose your mind, where your only choice is killing yourself or giving in and becoming a mindless monster. So canonically, the "You will sit nicely in my lap, perhaps naked" scenario won't happen. Either Durge flips the script on Astarion and controls him, or you become mindless, killing everything in sight.

However, those endings still have potential. You have Astarion getting a taste of freedom, only to have it ripped from him. You have Astarion thinking he owns the only person he cares about, only for them to kill themselves in front of him, or not recognize him and killing everything that moves.

The latter could be very interesting, since if Durge is his spawn he still has control of them. Feral Durge could be the Bertha to Astarion's Edward Rochester. Or maybe his feral attack dog he sics on his enemies.

i have no idea what triggered this super flirty astarion on the first camp night to have the opening dialogue start with him utterly lounging and saying "you're so impressive omg" and one of your responses can be like "we JUST met"
