She's planning the debut of Irumi, Lindy and whatever Ameri and Purson's idol names would be. [Yes I believe Purson will be dragged in. Is it for any reason other than me wanting Iruma, Shax and Purson to hang out? No! ...well maybe seeing him in a dress].

I’ve been thinking about the music arch again (just kidding it’s always playing in my head in a loop) and I still can’t get over how INSANE it was for iruma to go up to Eliza and act as if he was confessing his love to her. Like, that’s some theatre kid shit. And I know that because that’s exactly the type of shit I would pull in high school. Pretending to be in love with my homie, dressing up in a fancy outfit to propose and do a performance for them? Only to be super happy and amused when they catch onto the fact that this is a bit. That’s exactly the form of humor you have to have as a theatre nerd.

When I saw him roll up in the outfit and get on one knee I was hooting and hollering. It’s so cringy and embarrassing and I see myself in it way too much. It’s the type of fun you can only have when you are closely bonded, close enough to joke in that silly way knowing you won’t receive mean words about it. Sure, your friends WILL tease you about it but never in a cruel way. You have to be able to trust the people you play off in this way. Is Iruma in love with her? No. But he heavily admires her. And while goofing around, he still wants to make her happy. There’s a playful loving energy. These little “I’m in love with you” jokes happen because you do care about each other. And sure, in love maybe not. But willing to make a fool of yourself to make them smile? Yes indeed :)

Man, every week, chapter 300 of mairuma is coming close. I still remember the time of waiting for updates since the music festival and getting so hyped when the evidol arc came. Like even the misfit scan worked so hard for the tl. The live spoilers was so chaotic people do be screaming at the evil phase irumi reveal so bad, then we get the "I love you" "I know" from Gyari and Kerori and Gyari's "I have two hands" Gosh I enjoyed that arc so much. I wonder what arc we in for the coming close of chapter 300. Do we get more or Irumeanie? I hope we do.

I was thinking about how many people keep getting roped into being idols. I think the whole Misfit Class needs to at some point, but that’s hard to draw, so just Sabnock for now bc why not?

is the ask game still on? if yes, au where time moves differently between demon world and earth, so sullivan adopts iruma way earlier and iruma is classmates with teen kalego & balam and kinda-siblings with opera?

Every day I wonder what Opera and Sullivan's deal is. Is getting adopted by a cat the normal way to hire a security demon?!?!

1- so Sullivan adopts Iruma, and declares him his grandson. He is side eyeing Opera the entire time he says this, because he's still mad they wouldn't let him adopt them as a grandchild as well, instead asking to be trained as his security demon. Which is very nice! But Sullivan wants a grandbaby! Opera is delighted to get to practice protecting TWO of them, and in showing Iruma the demon ropes as it were.

2- Sullivan tells Uncle Naberius the day of the first day of school that his grandson is enrolling! The uncle is like "cool" and doesn't warn his nephew. Kalego takes offense to Iruma giving the opening speech just for nepotism, especially since Balam actually earned top spot. (Balam says he didn't want the speech, shy thing he is, but Kalego doesn't listen. Iruma also apologizes because he didn't want to be singled out, Kalego doesn't listen, by Balam knows he's telling the truth.)

3- Kalego tells Iruma that just because he's the chairdemon's grandkid doesn't mean he's going to give him any preference, Kalego is going to be the guard dog of the whole of the school. Iruma is happy to hear it. Then he has to try to summon a familiar, and uh welp his classmate was the one standing closest to him when he did so.... Whatever goodwill he was about to get from Kalego is gone.

4- Uncle Naberius figures out the first week that Iruma is a human, because there's just no other explanation for Sullivan to pull a grandson capable of summoning a demon as a familiar out of nowhere. He doesn't do anything about it, because while other Naberius relatives are devoted fanatics to the idea of an ancient demon school, Uncle is practical and loyal to the actual school as it exists- that means the chairdemon and all the students, who are all teenagers, and if one happens to be human, well, whatever. He does casually make sure that Narnia and the rest of the clan don't hear about it though, by making sure Kalego is too embarrassed to tell anyone anything about the Iruma kid.

5- unfortunately for Iruma, who is very happy to have the friendship of Balam, Opera, Ali-san, and Kalego... He's also caught the attention of sixth year senior, student council president, and favorite of several 13 crowns: Baal.

i love the music festival arc so much but also what was the point in having both elizabetta and purson be the focuses of the hell dance if only purson was going to get a character arc with it

I'm pretty sure that that is the figure of the phycology teacher from Babylys who we know loved the evidol games. I cant remember thier name.

Oh this one is hard for me. I love this manga. But if I had to give a hot take.

I think the multiple Evidol arcs have gotten repetitive and should stop happening now.
