The group sat gathered around with a small meal, the kind of makeshift dinner that felt comforting despite the bleak circumstances. Gi-hun leaned back, his arms crossed, recounting some story about the Front Man. “I’m telling you, he has cameras everywhere. He probably sees and hears everything we’re saying.”
The mood was tense, as it often was when the Front Man became the topic of conversation. But your lips twitched upward, a thought making you suppress a giggle.
Dae-ho, ever the curious one, caught it immediately. “What’s so funny?” he asked, narrowing his eyes in your direction.
You waved a hand dismissively. “Oh, nothing. It’s silly. Forget it.”
Young-il, sitting across from you, tilted his head slightly, his expression soft. “Come on,” he said gently, his voice soothing in a way that made you feel oddly safe. “Anything you have to say, we’ll appreciate. Don’t hold back.”
Encouraged by his tone, you hesitated for just a moment before shrugging. “Alright, but don’t judge me.” You exhaled a breathy laugh, looking down at your lap for a second before glancing back up. “What if the Front Man is, like—really hot?”
The reaction was instant. Dae-ho choked on his milk, sputtering, while Jun-Hee’s eyes widened slightly before she went back to eating as if she hadn’t heard you. Even Jung-Bae, usually laid back, looked at you like you’d just grown a second head.
“Seriously?” Gi-hun said, shaking his head in disbelief. “That’s what you’re concerned about?”
“What?” you asked defensively, your shoulders lifting in mock innocence. “I’m just saying. It’s possible!”
Gi-hun groaned, covering his face with his hands. “We’re talking about a guy who might be orchestrating all this madness, and you’re worried if he’s good-looking?”
Before you could respond, your eyes flicked to Young-il. Everyone else was either laughing awkwardly or shaking their heads, but Young-il wasn’t saying a word. Instead, a subtle smirk tugged at the corner of his lips, almost imperceptible to anyone else. Almost.
Your gaze stayed on him for a moment, your brow quirking as you tilted your head slightly in return, a silent question hanging between the two of you. His smirk deepened just enough for you to catch the meaning, amusement, maybe even intrigue, but he quickly smoothed his expression before anyone else noticed. He was hot too, you thought.
Gi-hun, still shaking his head, muttered, “Out of everything you could be thinking about.”
“Well, excuse me for lightening the mood,” you shot back playfully, rolling your eyes. “It’s not like I said I wanted to marry him or something. Geez.”
As the group moved on, you couldn’t help but replay the moment in your head. Maybe you were overthinking it, but wasn’t Young-il’s smirk a little too knowing? Or maybe it was just your ridiculous crush on him twisting your perception. You’d never admit it out loud, but you found yourself drawn to his quiet confidence, the calm authority he exuded even in casual moments like this.
It was ironic, really, here you were crushing on Young-il while joking about the Front Man. Little did you know, the very man you were teasing about might as well have been sitting right in front of you, wearing the mask in plain sight.
You shook the thought off with a small laugh. Overthinking, as usual. Still, when Young-il glanced your way again, his gaze warm and unreadable, you couldn’t stop your stomach from fluttering.
The night had settled into a familiar stillness, broken only by the occasional shuffle of someone shifting in their sleep. You couldn’t sleep, your earlier exchange with Young-il replaying in your mind. That smirk, so brief, had lodged itself in your thoughts.
You were still awake when he appeared, his footsteps quiet as he approached where you lay, tucked into a dim corner of the quarters. He didn’t say anything at first, just crouched down beside you, his dark eyes searching yours.
“Can’t sleep either?” he asked softly.
“Guess not,” you replied.
He tilted his head, a faint smile tugging at his lips. “Still thinking about the Front Man being hot?”
“I didn’t mean to make it weird,” you said laughing and flustered.
“You didn’t,” he assured you. “But if I didn’t know better, I’d say you might have a type.”
Your cheeks warmed under his words, and you rolled your eyes, trying to deflect. “Oh, come on. I was joking.”
“Were you?” he teased, his smile widening just a bit.
You were about to retort, but something in his expression stopped you. His hand, warm and steady, brushed against your cheek, lingering for just a moment before he leaned in slightly, his voice dropping to a whisper.
“You know,” he said, his tone teasing, “if you wanted to get something off your chest, now’s the time.”
Your breath hitched. “What are you trying to say, Young-il?”
“Just that I’m here,” he replied, “If there’s something you want.”
His words sent a jolt through you, and before you could second guess yourself, you leaned in, pressing your lips to his. The kiss started slow, testing the waters, but quickly deepened as his hand came up to cradle your face.
The thought of the games seemed to fall away as you lost yourself in the way his lips moved against yours. His hands were firm but gentle, holding your face as the kiss turned hungrier, more insistent. His fingers found their way into your hair, tugging slightly, drawing a low moan from him that you quickly stifled.
“Quiet,” he murmured against your lips, a teasing smirk playing on his face as his thumb brushed over your cheek. “We wouldn’t want to wake anyone, would we?”
Your heart raced as his lips moved to your neck, his hands on your waist as he guided you back against the small bed. He trailed kisses down your chest, his kisses slow and savoring every moment.
“You’re so beautiful like this,” he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper.
A soft gasp escaped your lips as his kisses grew bolder, trailing lower. He pulled off your bottoms and your lace panties, tongue licking from your hole to your clit. The way he did it so suddenly, so smoothly, made your pussy throb. You instinctively bit down on your lip, your hands fisting the fabric beneath you as you fought to keep your composure.
“Relax,” he whispered. “Let me taste you.”
His hands slid down your thighs, spreading them open as he adjusted your position. He glanced up at you, his dark eyes meeting yours with a glimmer of mischief and tenderness. You pressed your lips together tightly, his skilled tongue flicking your clit then moving to your leaking hole.
“Don’t hold back too much,” he murmured, a soft smile tugging at his lips. “I want to hear those pretty moans, just a little.”
Your cheeks warmed at his words, his tone leaving you breathless. You felt the warmth of his fingertips on your thighs and the tenderness of his kisses on your pussy, and his praises were a quiet balm to the storm of emotions swirling inside you because of the game.
“You taste so fucking good,” he whispered. “You’re perfect.”
Your fingers gripped his shoulders as he continued ravishing your pussy, mouth engulfing you and sucking as though the meal from earlier wasn’t enough. He was attentive to your pleasure, fingers pumping steadily inside your pussy as sucked and flicked your clit with precision. The precision you expected and appreciated in an older man. No one had ever made you feel this good. The pleasure was otherworldly and your legs shook from it all.
The coil in your abdomen and euphoria built with every passing second and you had to clamp a hand over your mouth to keep quiet. His words and actions blurred together, creating a warmth that left you trembling. When his tongue brought you to your peak, you bit down on your lip to stifle a cry, your entire body shuddering as he pressed a soft kiss to your clit.
“You did amazing,” he said softly, his lips brushing against your ear as he leaned closer.
You gently nudged Young-il to lie back, a teasing smile tugging at your lips. “My turn,” you murmured, your fingers grazing the waistband of his bottoms.
He raised an eyebrow, a chuckle escaping him, but there was no mistaking the lust in his gaze. “You don’t have to—”
“I want to,” you interrupted softly.
Slowly, you slid his bottoms down, taking in the sight of his, long, thick cock with a mixture of nervousness and determination. He was big, but you could take him. His sharp inhale was audible as your lips wrapped around the head, his hand instinctively brushing against your cheek as you went down.
“You’re too good to me,” he whispered, his voice low and tinged with awe.
Your fingers wrapped around his girth, careful and deliberate, and you began to stroke as you sucked with a rhythm that earned a quiet moan from him. The sound sent a shiver down your spine, but you focused, letting his quiet praises guide you.
“Just like that,” he murmured, his fingers threading in your curls. “You’re doing so well.”
You glanced up at him, mouth full, eyes watering and saliva mixed with pre cum dripping down your chin. Your cheeks warmed from his words and the darkness of his gaze. The way he looked at you like you were the most beautiful little thing in the world as you took him down your throat made your heart race. You bobbed your head faster, using as much tongue as you could on his thick shaft, your actions conveying what words couldn’t.
The effect was immediate. His head fell back against the pillow, a low moan escaping him as his free hand gripped the fabric beneath him.
“God, you’re incredible,” he said, his voice rough. “That pretty face of yours, how will I last?”
You couldn’t help but smile with his cock buried in your throat, your movements continued, now slower and purposeful as you went up and down. His breathing grew heavier, and his hand in your hair tightened slightly as he struggled to maintain composure.
“You’re too good,” he managed, his voice breaking slightly. “I—”
Before he could finish, the coil in him snapped, and his praises were replaced with a low, drawn out moan of relief. You swallowed the ropes of hot cum, watching as he tried to catch his breath, his gaze locking with yours almost immediately.
“You’re perfect,” he said, his tone full of affection and disbelief. He reached out to cup your face, pulling you closer until his lips pressed against yours, savoring the taste of himself on your lips.
Your confidence emboldened by the way he looked at you with dazed, lust filled eyes. His hands still rested on your waist, fingers brushing your skin as you leaned into him, your voice soft but teasing.
“Can I ride you?” you asked, pussy aching for him.
His lips curved into a smile, his thumbs drawing slow circles on your hips. “Anything you want, princess,” he murmured.
You bit your lip as you shifted, settling over his hard cock with a nervous laugh that he silenced by cupping your cheek. “Take your time,” he said.
When you finally sank down onto his length, his hands gripped your hips firmly, guiding you with a steady rhythm that sent shivers down your spine. The quiet moan he let out made you even wetter, and you instinctively leaned forward, resting your hands on his chest for balance.
“That’s it,” he murmured, his voice rough but filled with admiration. “You ride me so well, just like that.”
His praises made you bolder, and you bounced on his cock with more confidence, your breathing shallow as he let his hands roam, one sliding up to gently cup your tits. The warmth of his touch made you bite back a moan and his eyes darkened as he noticed.
“You’ve got to be quiet pretty girl,” he whispered, his hands still steadying you. “Think you can do that?”
You nodded quickly, though the feeling building inside you made it harder with every moment. His grip on your hips tightened, and he thrusted up into you, the two of you finding a rhythm that made it impossible to focus on anything but how he stretched your pussy. He was so big, your pussy was sure to remember the shape of his cock after you were done.
“I want to cum with you,” you admitted breathlessly, leaning down so your lips were close to his ear. “Inside me.”
Young-il’s breath hitched, his eyes meeting yours with pure lust. A slow smirk spread across his face. “Beg for it,” he whispered.
Your cheeks burned, but the desire in his gaze made you bold. “Please,” you murmured, leaning closer. “I want you to cum with me. Please.”
He groaned softly, his hands gripping your hips even tighter. “Good girl,” he praised, his voice unsteady. “Just hold on to me.”
The pleasure between you reached its peak as his praises and your whispered pleas filled the air. When the release finally came, it was almost overwhelming, and you buried your face against his neck to stifle the moan that threatened to escape. His hands held you firmly in place as he came with you, cum spurting inside you while you soaked his cock, his breaths ragged but filled with relief.
“You’re amazing,” he murmured after a long pause, brushing stray strands of hair from your face. His gaze softened as he pulled you closer, pressing a kiss to your temple.
You couldn’t help but smile, your heart racing as you settled against him. “So are you,” you whispered back, letting the moment linger in the quiet comfort of his embrace.

NEXT STEP IS LOVE - L. HUGHES
Tumblr media
[2.0k] luke brings you to the family skate, surprising his teammates, and the usual “i didn't know you had a girlfriend” comes up, but this time luke has enough of calling you just his best friend.
warnings: none ! just some cute ol' fluff; probably really cringey 😔
a/n: she's a short one, and i’m not really fond of it but here it is anyway. sorry guys :(
“Didn’t know Luke had a girlfriend.”
“That’s because he doesn’t. That is his best friend.”
“Bullshit.” Kovacevic laughed in Jack’s face before turning his head back towards Luke near the bench.
Luke was kind of a private person so the idea of him having a secret girlfriend would have made sense to anyone, especially to the new guys he wasn't close with yet. But when Jack revealed that the girl in front of Luke was simply a friend had to be the biggest lie Kovy ever got told. Because friends don’t look at each other that way.
Luke’s fingers were trembling as he tied the laces of your skates carefully, making sure they weren’t too tight or too loose. He felt nervous having you here with him, which was strange because it wasn’t like you’ve never been around the guys before, but the new season meant new guys too. Which also meant that the same old dreaded question was going to come up at any moment.
“Good?”
You nodded in response before stretching your hands out so Luke could help you up the bench. You were wobbly at first, as he tried to hold back the teasing grin creeping on his lips, definitely not used to being on skates as often as him.
You slowly made your way onto the ice, clutching his hand like your life depended on it. He couldn’t help but keep his gaze on your concentrated face, cheeks flushed from the chill of the arena as you found your rhythm. He was lost in his thoughts, stomach filling with butterflies when your hands squeezed his tighter. And if it weren’t for the little squeak you left out, he would’ve let you fall.
“Sorry,” he said with no hint of honesty in his voice while you shot him a playful look.
It wasn’t long before you found your footing and let go of his hands to skate side by side. There weren’t many chances for you to hang out with Luke in these settings. The last time you skated together was when he was still a rookie, and he almost got in trouble too many times for using the rink after hours just to teach you how to skate, but you loved every single moment of it. So when he realized your day off coincided with the family skate, he didn’t hesitate to mention it and you couldn’t wait to be there for him, doing something you know would make him happy.
Though, the only thing that was different from those times was the fact that holding Luke’s hands now had your heart doing funny tricks on you. The newfound warmth that has taken over your body in his presence this past year or so was unexpected and scary because you were well aware what this meant and you couldn’t lose Luke over a stupid crush.
If only you knew that he too got to a point where hiding his feelings for you was actually painful. He tried everything to spend as much time with you as possible. Faking being too tired to drive back to his place and sleep on your couch, missing optional skates, staying up at night before an away game just to hear your voice, letting you nap and waking you up only to convince you to spend the night at his place because i don’t want you to drive, it’s too dark outside and dangerous. It was all worth it in his eyes. But the ache in his chest everytime he had to leave you was becoming harder to suppress than he thought and he couldn’t take it anymore.
As he tried to grab at your brushing hands, Pesce stopped abruptly in front of you and almost knocked you down in the process.
“Didn’t know Rusty here had a girlfriend.” He said with a grin before turning his attention to Luke, wiggling his brows in a teasing maner.
“Oh, no, I'm just a friend.”
“Oh.”
“His best… friend, actually.” You tried to smile as sincerely as you could. The question never bothered you before, you two were close enough that such was expected, but the way Luke couldn’t look at you during the exchange with his teammate created a pit in your stomach.
Before he could take you away from the awkwardness of it all, Cotter skated over too. “Here we go,” mumbled Luke.
“Meeting the girlfriend without me?”
“Not the girlfriend apparently.”
"Really?" He asked, his tone skeptical as his eyes flicked between you. "Could’ve fooled me."
Luke groaned, not missing the way his teammates exchanged knowing looks and chuckling under their breaths. He couldn’t really blame his teammates for jumping to conclusions. If he were in their shoes, he might have assumed the same thing, it happened way too often anyway.
He grabbed at your hand and pulled you towards him, skating as far as possible from everyone. Was it really that obvious he liked you? Yet, you were still by his side, seemingly not phazed by the constant nagging and teasing from outsiders about your relationship, which could only mean that you didn’t like him back.
Luke was tired of all of this and the months he spent burying his feelings for you, convincing himself that your friendship was enough, were all coming down on him now with everyone assuming you were a couple. Feeling heavy, he hoped the family skate came to an end soon.
“You alright?”
“Yeah,” he said, running a hand through his hair. “I’m sorry about them.”
“That’s okay.”
You nodded but didn’t press further, not yet at least. Your hand came to rest around his bicep, seeking his warmth and pretending to need balance as you grew tired.
The easy rhythm you found earlier was now gone. Luke could tell you were trying to bring yourself comfort by staying close to him, though you kept your gaze on the ground which could only mean you were absorbed in your thoughts. And he hated that it was all his fault, he hated the idea of you thinking he was embarrassed or annoyed by the assumption that you were together. Because he wasn’t, he had dreamed of being your boyfriend more times than he‘d like to admit. And he wanted nothing more than being able to call you his.
Sensing your exhaustion, he led the way towards the bench to change back into normal shoes. The rink was quieter now, families thinning out. You leaned back, stretching your legs, and looked at him with a small frown on your lips. You didn’t have time to reach down when he brought up one of your feet to untie your skate.
“What’s on your mind, Luke?”
Luke hesitated, his fingers fumbling with your skate laces. “Nothing.”
“It’s not nothing, Luke. You’re too quiet, what’s wrong?”
“Does it not bother you when people ask if we’re a couple?”
You blinked at him, startled by the question. It wasn’t what you expected, and for a moment, you didn’t know how to respond. Luke had stopped untying your skate, his hands frozen mid-motion as he waited for your answer. His expression was unreadable, but you could see the tension in his shoulders and the way his jaw tightened.
“Bother me?” You repeated softly, the chill of the rink seemed to seep into your skin, though you weren’t sure if it actually was the cold temperature or the sudden shift in the conversation. “No, not really. I mean, it happens all the time, doesn’t it?”
“Yeah, I guess.” Luke nodded slowly, looking down at your skate again. He resumed working on the laces, but his movements were slower now, almost hesitant. You shifted slightly, your other foot tapping lightly against the rubber mat beneath the bench.
“Does it bother you?” You tilted your head, watching him carefully.
Luke let out a quiet sigh and dropped his hands on your leg. “I don’t know.” He admitted. “Sometimes, I guess. Not because of what they think, but… because of what it implies.”
“And what does it imply?”
You echoed, your voice barely above a whisper. Your heart began to race, the steady rhythm you’d been clinging to slowly slipping away. You couldn’t help but search his face for clues, for anything that might explain the sudden vulnerability in his tone.
Luke hesitated, his green eyes flicking up to meet yours for something — permission, maybe, or courage. And for a moment, he seemed to be weighing his next words, his brows drawing together in a way that made your chest ache.
“Luke…”
“I like you,” he said, the words tumbling out in a rush, as if he was afraid he’d lose his nerve if he waited any longer. “I’ve liked you for a while now and I’ve been trying so hard to pretend that I don’t. I can’t stand being apart from you, I need you close to the point where I am not my own person anymore. I’m tired of the ache in my chest everytime I have to leave you, not just for roadies, but every time we part ways, it’s like I’m a different person without you that I can't recognize.”
“When they say stuff like that, it just makes it harder because I want it to be true. I want us to be more than just friends. I want to wake up next to you and come home to you every day.”
You blinked, clearly caught off guard. You tried to open your mouth as if to speak, but he pressed on, the words tumbling out like water breaking through a dam. His words started fading in your racing mind. His confession hung in the air heavy and raw, and all of it felt like you’ve been hit by a truck. Luke, your best friend, liked you and you were glad he hadn't stopped talking because, truly, you didn’t know what to say.
Luke’s heart felt like it might burst from his chest, every beat echoing in his ears as he braced himself for rejection, for awkwardness, for the possibility that he’d just ruined everything. The silence that followed when he stopped taking felt like an eternity. And for a moment, you just stared at him, expression unreadable.
“You don’t have to say anything. I just… wanted you to know.”
You dropped your foot to the ground and scooted closer to him. As he turned to face you, your hand pressed against his cheek and you leaned in to place a delicate kiss on his lips. It was soft, almost hesitant, but it was enough to make Luke freeze. His mind blanked, and for a moment, he wasn’t sure if he’d imagined it. When you pulled back, your face was mere inches from his, your hand still lingering on his cheek. Your cheeks were flushed, though whether from the cold or the weight of the moment, he couldn’t tell.
His heart pounded in his chest as you bit your lip, your hand dropping from his face to rest on your lap.
“It’s always been you, Luke.” Your gaze met his once more, the blush on his cheeks making him cuter than he ever looked. Luke’s eyes widened, still incredulous even after your kiss.
“Really?”
“Really.” You smiled, a small, tentative curve of your lips as you nodded.
He leaned forward slightly clearing his throat, his eyes searching yours. “Can I kiss you again?” He asked, voice barely audible.
This time, the kiss wasn’t hesitant or fleeting. It was soft and tender, a promise of everything you both hoped to build together. When you finally pulled apart, your foreheads rested against each other, and for the first time in a long while, everything felt right.
“Hey, lovebird! Tone it down a bit, there’s kids around.”
Luke groaned at one of the guys’ teasing from the other side of the rink, and you laughed at his antics, the weight on your shoulders had finally been lifted off.
“So… does that mean you’ll be my girlfriend?” You didn’t know your cheeks could flush any more, and smiling at his question, you reached up to brush a stray strand of hair from his face.
“Eh, I’ll have to think about that.”

READ YOUR MIND
You're roommate and her boyfriend are incredibly loud, so you decide to spend the night at your hot friend Jason's house.
fluff, college!au, confessions, one bed trope
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It takes about twenty minutes of internal conflict before you find yourself outside Jason’s dorm room.
You feel stupid. It’s not like you haven’t been in Jason’s room before. You guys were friends. He’d slept on your couch after a movie night gone too long, you’d stayed up for hours writing essays together on his bedroom floor. This was nothing weird, nothing new.
But for whatever reason, today it feels different.
It might be the fact that you’re seeing him differently. You’re not sure when, but the line between friend and something else has started to blur. You don’t know how you didn’t notice the strong slope of his jaw, the fact that he was probably strong and muscular enough to throw you over his shoulder. How funny he was, how kind he was. The fact he studied English, how smart he was at it. It’s really no one's fault but his own. You’re surprised you’d lasted this long without crushing on him, anyway. And maybe the way his eyes lingered a little too long on your own. Innocent touches felt like something else, a hand holding your hips as he stepped behind you, a thigh against your own as you sat in impossibly tight lecture halls.
Whatever. There’s no point looking at it like that. You love your friendship with him too much to let a little crush ruin it.
If you were in any other situation, you wouldn’t be here. But it’s late and you know of all your friends Jason’s the most likely to be awake. You don’t want to bother him but you can't spend another night third-wheeling with your roommate and her boyfriend. That, and the fact that it gets particularly loud whenever you come to sleep.
After a deep breath to steel yourself, you knock on the door. It takes only a few seconds before it swings wide open.
And God, you take back everything you just said. Because he's wearing a pair of grey sweats, and an old band shirt that is showing off his delicious arms, and you don’t know if you can blame the fact it’s nearly midnight on the thoughts running through your head. His movements are slow, sleepy, as he blinks at you confused.
He pushes his glasses up his head, tufts of brown hair falling over his face. “Oh. Hey. Is- Are you okay?”
“Oh god, did I wake you?”
“Nah, you’re good.” He leans against the doorframe, crossing his arms.
It takes a second before the words come out of your mouth. “I- Lily. She has- She has her boyfriend round, and I don’t sleep very well when he’s there.” You laugh awkwardly, scratching your arm.
You hold up the books and paper you brought with you. “You mind if I crash here tonight? I bought stuff to keep me busy, so I’ll be out of your hair.”
Jason smiles easily, pushing the door open further. “Of course, yeah.”
You step in, thanking him as he grabs the stuff out of your hand and puts them on his front table. His dorm is so boyish. Him and his roommate, an eccentric boy everybody called Gar, were not the best at interior design. Their couches are dark grey with red pillows, jarring against the white carpet you’d bought them as a housewarming gift. The kitchen was an amalgamation of whatever plates and mugs they’d found at thrift stores, their fridge filled with pictures from Gar’s old polaroid camera. It was cute and very them, and a warm place to sleep that wasn’t accompanied by the sound of your roommate and her boyfriend doing whatever the hell they got up to alone.
“Thanks again. I can’t stand another night with those two.”
Jason snorts a laugh, sitting down on the couch. “It can’t be that bad. They’re nice people.”
“Yeah, sure. But all they do is remind me of how painfully single I am.” You huff, sitting beside him.
He’s close enough that you can smell the expensive cologne he wears. He’s shown you it once, a fancy glass bottle. He’s spritzed it on your wrist and the smell lasted all day. He nods at your words, and you turn your head towards the TV to avoid his gaze.
“That guy you saw last week didn’t work out?”
Your eyebrows furrow. Honestly, the date had been crap, and you’d forgotten about him the second you’d gone home. You’re surprised he remembers. You tell Jason about all of your romantic adventures, hoping it will have some effect on your feelings for him. It hasn't been very successful so far. And while Jason looks disinterested as he asks you, eyes focused on the movie on screen, his leg taps up and down, and he looks a little restless. You think about lying for a split second, but you can’t bring yourself to do it.
You scoff. “I haven’t spoken to him since. He was boring. And stupid.”
Jason laughs, his eyes crinkling. “That’s rude!”
“He couldn’t hold one conversation with me! Like, I asked him what his favourite book was and he said Diary of a Wimpy Kid. We are nineteen years old!” You whine, hands covering your face as Jason cackles next to you.
“So that’s all women want. A man who reads?” There's a teasing lilt to his voice and you roll your eyes.
“Well, duh. I am studying English after all. I’d like to be able to hold a conversation with him about what I do.”
“That’s a fair dealbreaker, I'll be honest.” Jason hums, resting his arm on the back of the couch, brushing your back slightly. “Is that all you’re looking for in a man?”
The TV blares quietly in the background. Some random show on the food network where the contestant currently on screen looks like they're about to drop the tiered cake in their hands. His question rings out in the room, and you know you only have a few seconds before your silence is considered awkward. But you can’t help but think his question is so suggestive. Does he want to know why out of innocent curiosity? Or does he want to know out of something else?
“Well. Obviously not.” You finally say, bringing your knees up to your chest. “But English comprehension would be nice.”
Jason snorts a laugh. “That being said. He has to be funny. And tall, at least taller than me. And he needs to be smart. And fit. Like, physically.”
Jason watches you with a small smile on his face, nodding, like he knows you're just trying to describe him in a roundabout way. You laugh, a little nervous under his gaze. You reach across the couch and grab the remote.Your arm brushes against his leg and the contact is fleeting but it makes your skin burn.
“And all these guys at uni, and you haven’t found one who fits?”
His voice is lower when he speaks again, and when you look at him he’s looking at you so intensely. And it’s then you notice that the two of you are sitting quite close on the couch, considering it's one big enough to fit about four people.
“Well. Yes. I- Maybe.”
He just nods again. You take a quick breath in, quickly grabbing your book from the table. “Did you finish the essay for next week?”
Jason groans, leaning his head back on the couch. “Fuck. No. I completely forgot.”
You wave your own essay in the air. “Well. I was gonna ask you to read over mine, but. Nevermind then.” You sigh dramatically.
“Shut up. Lemme read.” He takes it out of your hand, slipping his glasses back on his face. They’re thick rimmed lenses that make him look older than he is and you love them.
You watch him as he reads, fingers playing with his bottom lip as his eyes skim over your work. Some part of you feels the tiniest bit self-conscious, because he is a hundred times smarter than you, but you know he’d never make it feel that way. Jason suddenly looks up and his eyes meet yours. You smile, face heating, as he raises an eyebrow.
“Enjoying the view, sweetheart?”
“Shut up.”
You tap the edge of your paper. “Good?”
“Great. Can you write mine too?”
You snort. “You wish.” Jason pouts and drops your paper back on the table.
“It’s fine. I’ll do it tomorrow. Right now I’m hungry.”
You sit up immediately at that. “Yes. Let’s order food.”
Jason looks back at his kitchen. “I shouldn’t. I’ve eaten takeaway every night this week, I think. It’s also,” he quickly glances at his watch, “barely half twelve. What’s even open right now?”
You groan, shaking his shoulder. “Jason, don’t be responsible! I’m here, this is like a sleepover. We need to eat something junk-foody.”
Jason just frowns. You flick the centre of his glasses and he tuts. “Hey.”
“I’ll even pay! It’s on me.” You nod and pull out your phone. You’re opening UberEats before he can protest again.
“See. Burger King is open. We love Burger King!”
“We do?”
“Yes. What do you want?”
“A whopper.”
You spend the next ten minutes deciding and then the next thirty waiting anxiously for your food. The thing with Jason, and probably the reason you like him the most, is that you can talk to him about anything. Tonight, it’s his brother Dick’s birthday party. He leans in to show you the picture on his phone, and you try not to laugh at how unhappy he looks to be photographed.
When the doorbell rings Jason runs to grab the food, before bringing it back to the two of you. It takes another twenty minutes for the two of you to finish eating, old episodes of Friends humming in the background. Sleep circles your limbs and you yawn, sipping on blue slushy that had come with your order. It’s entirely too sweet and stains your tongue blue but you keep drinking it anyway.
“I don’t know. Bruce is always asking me to come over, but. Things are still weird.”
You nod. “Yeah, I get it. But it’s good you’re trying. I-“
You're cut off suddenly by Jason yelling and pointing at your arm. You screech, dropping your slush and shooting off the couch.
“What! Oh my god, what is it?” You yell, hands rubbing at your sleeves.
“You-“ Jason tries to speak but his words are cut off by a laugh. “It was just a little bug.”
“Jason. That is not funny! You freaked me out, look!” You whine, pointing at the now spilt slushy all over your hoodie.
“Ah, shit. Sorry, sorry.”
He gets up and grabs some tissues and you furiously dab at your hoodie. The couch is also now blue, and you frown. “There goes my bed, too. Guess I’m sleeping on your bedroom floor today.”
Jason perks up where he’s blotting the couch. He frowns, thinking for a moment. “You’re not sleeping on the floor, what? Take my bed.”
Your hands drop to your sides. “Well what about you?”
“I’ll take the floor. It’s my fault you split this, anyway.”
“It’s your bed. I’m not gonna make you sleep on the floor.”
“Well, it’s my dorm so. I think I’ll have the final say, sweetheart.” He teases.
You bite your bottom lip, thinking, and toss the used tissues on the table. “Why don’t we just sleep together?”
The tips of Jason’s ears turn a dark red and he looks a little shell-shocked at your words, before it’s replaced by a smirk. Your face flushes too, and you quickly shake your head.
“I- Not like that, I meant- Stop laughing.” You snap. But the sight of him laughing behind his hand makes you giggle a little too.
“I just mean, like. I don’t mind sleeping in the bed with you. I just- I don’t think there’s any point in one of us sleeping on the floor, if there’s a perfectly good bed that can fit us both, you know?”
You’re well aware that you’re rambling, and the way he tilts his head and smiles at you is not helping. He gives the couch one last wipe and stands.
“Alright. That’s cool with me if it’s cool with you.  I can also get you something else to wear.” He gestures at your now blue hoodie and you smile gratefully.
You’ve been in Jason’s room once or twice, to grab something or take a call. But this time it’s different, because you’re looking at his bed and you’re going to be in it in about five minutes. You ignore the band posters plastered on his walls, the messy stacks of books all over his floor. You sit gingerly on the edge of the mattress and wait. He comes in only a moment later. He starts rummaging through his drawers and you just watch. He glances at you over his shoulder and shakes his head, huffing a laugh.
“Stop staring. You’re making me nervous.” He whispers.
“Man up.”
He throws a hoodie at you and you catch it. “You know where the bathroom is.”
You walk into the toilet and quickly get changed. You leave your old hoodie in the hamper. Jason’s one is bigger and smells like him, and you don’t see yourself giving this back anytime soon. You give yourself a quick once over in the mirror, fixing your hair and wiping mascara from under your eyes, before you head back to Jason’s room.
When you come back, Jason’s already in bed, doing something on his phone. You linger in the doorway and he looks up.
“You want a formal invitation?”
You roll your eyes and shuffle your way over. You gingerly lift up the sheets and climb in. You are so painfully aware of how close he is, your shoulders brushing as he puts his phone to the side and lays down properly. The room is silent other than the two of you breathing. Just when you're about to speak, he beats you to it.
“Night.” He whispers.
“Goodnight.”
You’re not crazy, right? This is weird. Maybe if it was Victor’s room. A boy friend who was completely platonic, it wouldn't mean anything. But you’ve felt the tension between you and Jason, the subtle flirting, the lingering touches. You know that whatever is happening between you guys is not just friendship. And you have no idea if it's just you, because Jason is breathing so evenly you think he’s fallen asleep already.
You shuffle a little in the sheets, uncomfortable. They smell like Jason and it’s not helping to calm your thoughts down. You turn around to lay on your side, and when you do, you’re met with a face right in front of you, looking back.
It doesn’t take long for your eyes to adjust to the darkness and this close, you can make out the spattering of freckles on the bridge of his nose, the grey hairs he’s growing at 20 that he always complains about. His eyelashes are so long, and you smile sleepily.
“Hi.”
He smiles too. “Hi.”
“I can’t sleep.” You mumble, eyes fluttering shut. “Those burgers woke me up.”
Silence. You don't get a reply. You open your eyes again and Jason is just staring.
“Is there another bug on my face?” You joke. But he doesn't laugh.
“No. You just look so pretty right now.”
Your mouth opens to speak, but no words come out. Jason looks like he’s telling you the time of day, so casual. He lifts up his hand slightly, and brushes a strand of your hair from out your face.
“I- Thank you.”
He doesn’t say anything again. You don’t know what to say. A silence settles over the room again. The two of you just look at each other. And just when you’re about to break it, he sits up so fast it makes you jump.
“Jason, what-”
“I can’t do this, I-”
You eyebrows furrow and you sit up, watching Jason flick on the lamp on his bedside table. The room is enveloped in a soft warm light, and his hair is tousled a little, his shirt wrinkled from how quickly he got up.
“What is going on right now?” “Did you know Gar isn’t home?” He says.
You say yes, because the fact you can’t hear him yelling at COD or something else, and the fcat he didn’t come say hi, is enough clue that he’s not home.
“Right, so. When I made you spill your slushy, which was an accident by the way, I could’ve easily just let you stay in there. He wouldn’t care.”
“Okay.” You say slowly.
“And. I didn’t. Because I knew that you wouldn’t let me sleep on the floor and i wouldn’t either, and then we’d be in this position, and I’d finally get the chance to fucking tell you how i feel.”
“How- How you feel?”
“Yes. And then I pussied out and I just said goodnight, and. And then you looked at me, and, fuck. I can’t take it anymore.”
And then Jason turns to look at you, and he looks so desperate as he grabs your hands, his skin calloused as he tightens his grip.
“I like you. A lot. And, you know, I’d like to think I'm pretty smart, but I know I am horrible when it comes to people, at feelings. So I’m sorry it’s taken me so long to say that.”
This is a dream. There’s no way this is real, that the Jason Todd, biceps and all, is confessing to you on his bed. You want to pinch yourself because the way his thumb is rubbing soothing circles on the back of your hand is making your heart squeeze in your chest.
You watch those pretty brown eyes furrow slightly at your silence.
“I- If you don’t feel the same way, I-”
You don’t think before you reach forward, palms grabbing his jaw and pulling him forward so you can press a kiss to his lips. And he barely waits a second before his eyes flutter closed, hands tangling in your hair to pull you impossibly closer. Your arms slide down to curve around his neck and you toy with the hair on the nape of his neck, and he groans. You finally let go and he leans his forehead on yours, kissing your nose, your cheek.
“I like you too, by the way. If the kiss wasn’t tell enough.”
He grins, boyish and handsome, and you want to kiss him again.
He sighs happily, hands slipping up the edge of his hoodie, eyes waiting for your nod of approval. When he gets it, he smiles again, pressing a kiss to your jaw.
“God, thank fuck for Lily and her boyfriend

Characters: sae, rin, chigiri, reo, nagi, otoya, isagi, kaiser
Fluff / no tw / 900+
Note: I'd like to know what you like me doing the most, hc, os (long or short), one character or even multi fandom? I'm curious!
m.list | rules
Tumblr media
Sae - doing his skin care with you
If you don't have a skin care routine, then now you do. He's really serious about this, and you probably get tired of getting side eyes all the time. It's nothing much yet it makes him feel good, sharing simple moments like those is precious to him with his busy life. That's how he prefers his night to start, whenever with music – yours or his – or without ; he's just next to you, watching you putting product after product on your skin and there's almost the shadow of a smile on his lips. Bonus points to the night where you two sit in front of a series or a movie with sheet masks on and snacks next to you.
Rin - listening to your music with you
He could easily put his headphones on while you put your music on while getting ready or doing your makeup – if you do wear some – but he actually likes knowing what you're listening to. It's kind of intimate to him, he likes to share his music with you as much as he likes knowing what you like. He even has a playlist composed only with music from yours and he wishes you never found out (you already did). Along with that, he's obviously the type to make you a playlist when he feels like it or when he misses you.
Isagi - checks on you
He's a little anxious about everything, nothing crazy but I feel like he's the tense one before traveling you see ? Well because of that, Isagi will always make sure you're at ease, feeling good, stay hydrated, and put sunscreen on. You almost fell ? He grabbed your arm and then never let your hand go. He's always asking you if you're good, probably over a hundred times a day. He just wants you to be safe. He's extra caring and comprehensive when you're tired or overstimulated and you end up annoying or cold. He doesn't mind much, he just wants to make it easier for you.
Otoya - have a hair tie just in case you need it
The second your hair is long enough to be tied, he has one around his wrist. He knows you have one too, but he also knows that you share yours a lot and don't always get it back so he's there for that. The second he notices that your hair is bothering you, he doesn't hesitate to put it behind your ear or tie it for you. He loves the texture of your hair between/against his fingers, and the scent when it just got washed. He generally really loves your hair, so he's always here to hand you a hair tie.
Kaiser - leans his hand next to yours
He's not gonna take your hand just like that, no matter how people think he will, I'm sure he won't because he prefers when you're the one who catches his hand. It makes him feel wanted, needed and Gods know it wasn't always the case with closed ones. Letting it lands oh so close to yours, just so your picky are touching in a feather like manners, yet he doesn't move any more closer to your hand, patiently waiting for you to break and hold his hand, winning a so prideful smirk as he look at you with a look you know too well.
Nagi - lean on you when he's tired
You can be laying in bed, up pouring yourself a drink ans looking for snacks – anywhere in the house, Nagi will find you and lean onto your shoulders as if he was the small one in the relationship. You might think he's cute, he is, but he always make sur to put half his weight on you, crashing you behind him so you HAVE to go to bed so you don't die because of it. He does it outside as well but it's less harming. He simply leans in his head on your shoulder, wraps his arms around your waist if you're up and whines because he's tired and wants to go home. People find it endearing a lot – let alone when you shuffle his perfect white hair with a soft smile, telling him you'll be leaving soon.
Reo - get you something to drink
You're busy, he knows that better than anyone else, and if you're not he'd rather have you resting so it's his duty to take care of you. It doesn't matter if he has to order it in a coffee shop or to make one himself for you while you're at his place or his staying at yours, he'll make you something hot to drink before you can even think about how you need it. He'll get a tea pot ready for you, already sweetened if that's how you take it – same for coffee. He'll be kind but demanding toward anyone making your drink, making sure it's done well but will always leave a huge tip because that's what you'll do.
Chigiri - wash your hair for you
Chigiri likes his privacy but less when it comes to you, so it doesn't happen all the time but you two regularly take shower/bath together. That's when he started to wash your hair for you. That way he can take care of it and treat it nicely because he knows you don't always have the energy to do so. You'll always have a nice scalp massage that makes you mmh in satisfaction and he's always gonna laugh at it a little. But he loves it a lot because he gets to see you relax under his fingers after a long day and that's enough for him.

Thanos / Player 230 Headcanons
Tumblr media
Paring: Thanos / Player 230 x fem!reader
Warnings: Mentions of death/dying and gunshots (typical squid game stuff), other than that it's just fluff, although this is probably buns (my first time writing something like this, I'm sorry, people😔🙏)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
જ⁀➴ In his mind, you were this little lamb who needed his protection. Even if you proved yourself to be capable of surviving on your own, Thanos was set on dragging you with him, insisting that it'd be better if you would just stick with his group (much to your and also Nam-gyus annoyance). And, considering he was ready to sacrifice other peoples lives for this prize money, you were scared to refuse him.
જ⁀➴ At some point, you found it endearing how much he seemed to care for you. His cheesy raps about you, his pet names - 'baby', 'princess', 'sweetheart' - the way he was actually putting in the effort to get you through the games, ready to sacrifice a 'friend' (poor Gyeong-su).. you couldn't help but relish the affection he was showing you.
જ⁀➴ It was nice feeling something other than fear and dread, so you couldn't help but entertain Thanos' feelings. Perhaps you weren't just entertaining them? It was hard to ignore the growing connection between you two. Especially when he seemed to open up more and more, especially after lights out.
જ⁀➴ When the drugs wore off, Thanos was actually nice to talk to. At night, he'd come and sit on your bed, comforting you if you were scared (which you very obviously were). Draping an arm around your shoulders, he'd listen to every worry, thought and wish you have and would just stay quiet for those moments (which was very rare and made you appreciate these moments even more).
જ⁀➴ For some reason, you two understand each other. Sure, when high, Thanos was insufferable, loud and annoying and would do every stupid thing imaginable just to impress you. He'd play risky during the games, just to never shut up about how he survived it and how 'he would never die and leave you alone'. After that, the moments where he seemed to be vulnerable meant that much more to you.
જ⁀➴ Thanos' confidence is unwavering. He'd be relentless and would chase after you, regardless if you wanted it or not. In his opinion, you two were the most perfect match and he'd do anything to be able to call you his. Your beauty, your determination and the way you carried yourself simply mesmerized him.
જ⁀➴ After every game you two survived, he'd pull you close to him, tightly wrapping his arms around you and hug you until you couldn't properly breath anymore. "I'm so happy you made it out alive, princess. God, I couldn't imagine what I would do without you in here!"
જ⁀➴ Even with you there with him, Thanos needs that prize money. Would he sacrifice you for it? Never in a million years. Does he still pressure you into voting to continue? Yes, absolutely.
"Come on, baby! Just one more game, I promise." He snakes his arms around your waist, leaning down while talking, "you know I'll protect you. And with the money, we can build a new, happy lives together. What do you say?"
જ⁀➴ Seeing you scared expression while loud gunshots filled the room during the mingle game does something to him, though. Thanos' eyes bore into yours, making you look away quickly. He needs that money, he knows you do, too. But seeing you so distraught might actually make hin change his mind about wanting to continue. After all, he's completely head over heels for you and he'd do everything not to lose you.

At least when Swerve is there, Blurr doesn’t have to be entirely alone. But sometimes it feels like that doesn’t matter — isn’t enough. And tonight, tonight had been one of those nights.
——————————————
Swerve collapses back against the wall as he returns from his holoform to his frame. He’s glad Jazz and Prowl no longer feel the need to be on standby while he holoforms. Is glad there is no one here that he needs to put on a show for. No one to have to pretend everything is fine for when everything is anything but fine.
Swerve had never intended to stay on Earth as long he did. He certainly hadn’t planned on going back.
Only, now that he knows what’s going on, he can’t look away.
He’s gone back. Again. And again. and again….
Each time Swerve has watched Blurr. Watched the way he falls apart and puts himself back together, plastering over the cracks in his image until the surface is flawless, only for the plaster to dissolve and the cracks to show through again the moment the man is alone.
It hurts. Watching hurts — sometimes more than Swerve can bear.
It hurts knowing that no one else, apart from Swindle, knows what Blurr is going through. None of the other pilots know what Blurr is doing for them — how much he’s sacrificing.
Realizing that Blurr barely lets Swindle in, lets Swindle help, and even then the pair of them are keeping up a pretense — hurts.
(And despite it all Swerve can’t help but feel oddly grateful to Swindle, as strange as that thought is.)
And Swerve wonders whether even Swindle really knows. Because there are limits to what Blurr lets Swindle see.
It’s clear Blurr has no one he can trust to help carry the burden that he’s carrying. No one to ask for help. No one to share his pain with.
Swerve never realized until he started watching Blurr just how lonely and isolating fame could be. And so he’s kept going back. Even though it hurts. Because at least when Swerve is there, Blurr doesn’t have to be entirely alone.
But sometimes it feels like that doesn’t matter — isn’t enough. And tonight, tonight had been one of those nights. Bad. Worse than bad. Because tonight the cracks had split open. Swerve had heard Blurr muttering in his sleep. “Two down left down straight two down left down straight two down….” Sometimes stumbling over a word, sometimes forgetting. Faster and faster, as his hands had twisted around the sheets of the hospital bed.
And Swerve had left. Left as he had left Blurr when the man was dying. He had done nothing. Could do nothing. Even as he was probably the only one that knew the full significance of what those words meant.
Waking up from his holoform hurts. Hurt more than waking up from the realization that Blurr was not the perfect figure Swerve’s imagination had crafted. Because this time, Swerve’s waking up to the realization that life’s been going on around him the whole time while he’s been busy pretending to dream.
None of this is what Swerve intended. None of this is what he wants. Only none of that matters. Because he can’t go back and change what’s already happened. Because he’s still failing to find a way to be anything more than a passive observer to the present.
And it hurts even more that, knowing what he knows now, Swerve can believe only too easily that this is what Blurr’s been doing all along. Maybe the flaws, the cracks in the perfect image have always been there. Always hidden from the public eye. Only visible when Blurr knew no one was watching. When Blurr was able to let the mask slip and let his guard down.
Only now under stress and pressure the cracks have gotten wider — more obvious. And it’s obvious that it’s taking more and more out of Blurr each time to keep covering them up, keep pretending that everything is fine when it so clearly shouldn’t be.
At least this time Blurr isn’t dying.
Though sometimes, Swerve wonders.
Physically, Blurr is alive.
But watching this show, Swerve wonders if Blurr isn’t still dying a little internally.
And the worst is there’s nothing Swerve can do but watch. Again. Except this time he knows it’s real. He’s never felt so damn helpless.
And Swerve is starting to feel like a part of himself is dying alongside Blurr as he watches.
Oohho the tasty crunchy angst for dinner today hhmmmmmkfjfjfkdlodidu

Stolas' Conundrum~
What I love about Stolas' conundrum is how much of a lose - lose situation it is. By the events of Mastermind, there was no winning for Stolas.
Tumblr media
Stolas has two people he cares the world about and can't live without: Octavia and Blitz.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sinsmas ends with Stolas being disowned by his daughter for breaking the promise he made to her back in Loo Loo Land.
"Are you gonna run off with him? And leave me behind? Go away where... I can't find you?"
"What? No! No, no, never. I'd never do that. Never."
Here's the thing, as much as it would be nice to imagine a situation where Octavia happily runs to her dad and forgave him for everything he's done.
It isn't that simple because you're asking a 17 year old girl, who has always felt like an afterthought in every episode she's been featured in thus far... to forgive seeing this...
Tumblr media
And her finding out that her father has been taking antidepressants throughout the entirety of her childhood probably doesn't help either, but I digress...
Tumblr media
Sinsmas ends with Stolas being comforted by Blitz, but emotionally destroyed and drained from his loss of Octavia.
Stolas may have lost Octavia, but she isn't dead.
And as Blitz said, "... you just gotta keep trying."
But here's the fun part, lets say Stolas didn't choose Blitz. Lets say he chose Octavia at that moment and decided to stay for her sake.
Tumblr media
After all, Blitz is a motherfucker~ He did break his heart in the worse and dumbest way possible. And remember by Apology Tour, this is what Stolas thinks...
"Oh, I don't think you meant to hurt me, 'cause I don't think it meant a thing at all." But the thing is that Stolas choosing Octavia, is essentially the same as saying that Stolas is okay with this...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
That Stolas is okay with Blitz dying.
That Stolas would ultimately be okay with Blitz dying for the crimes that they both willingly took part in.
That Stolas would be ultimately fine with living in a world without Blitz in it.
But that's where I think people are wrong... Because the show and Stolas make it very clear that he isn't okay with that...
After all, Stolas loves Blitz a lot...
Tumblr media
Then you walked in my room And like sparks in the dark Life was suddenly thrilling and new
What's left for me and my broken heart If I cannot have you?
My entire life's been written in stone He taught me that I could choose
But I, I keep on waitin' Waiting to want you less than I do And I do, oh, I do, yes, I still do want you
I would rather be dead Than live life without you by my side
I am the mastermind The master of my fate
Sure as the stars have shined I'll give my life to clean your slate
You're my light

How could Stolas be happy, if his light dies?

Kaiser, how we know him in the manga, absolutely does not know how to love and would never end up in a relationship or at least, a healthy one, so, I'll write here one of my most important works (that I'll probably refer to in a lot of my future writings), helping you guys understanding what I think is the most realistic way he could love anyone.
★TW : mentions of mental abuse, depression.
★1k words
✾ You absolutely fell in love first and stayed even after seeing him fail and witnessing the worst sides of him with your own eyes.
✾ Kaiser would eventually notice something special in you, something he didn’t see at first. As time passed, he couldn’t help being drawn to you because you saw through his facade—the ego, the arrogance—and treated him with both blunt honesty and quiet compassion.
✾ He desired you, though not in a romantic way at first. To him, you were someone he needed around, someone he didn’t want anyone else to have, almost as if you were an object to be kept.
✾ One day, you found enough courage to confess your feelings to him. To Kaiser, it was an opportunity to keep you tethered to him, to have control over you. He accepted, assuming you were the type to be so stupidly in love that you’d let anything slide—and you did.
✾ Even then, he tried to “love” you, though selfishly. He didn’t want you to leave, even if he didn’t truly know how to put you first or care for you in a way that wasn’t about his own gratification.
✾ You stayed because you saw glimpses of the person he could be, because you believed he deserved to be loved, and because you were far too attached to walk away.
✾ Over the years, however, the emotional weight of loving someone so broken—someone who was unwilling to change no matter how many arguments or breaks you endured—began to take its toll. His jealousy, his possessiveness, and his inability to communicate left you exhausted.
✾ “Why do you always forgive me, even when I don’t deserve it?” he asked one night, his frustration laced with disbelief. He thought you might have finally given up on him. You just smiled sadly and replied, “Because someone has to.”
✾ Eventually, your love alone wasn’t enough to hold you together. You left—not out of anger, but out of self-preservation. You were on the brink of losing yourself entirely.
✾ At first, Kaiser wasn’t overly concerned and was mostly in denial. He convinced himself you’d come back, just as you always had. When hours turned into days, he believed you felt the same need for him as he did for you. But as the days turned into weeks, the silence began to gnaw at him.
✾ He spiraled, masking his pain with his usual bravado—if not more exaggerated than ever. Yet when he was alone, he was consumed by thoughts of you being with someone else. The idea drove him mad, and for the first time, he felt true, raw heartbreak. He realized your leaving wasn’t an act of abandonment but a final act of love—giving him what he thought he wanted most from you towards the end: freedom.
✾ Kaiser wasn’t used to losing or feeling such despair paired with a complete loss of control. Refusing to accept the end, he did everything in his power to win you back—grand gestures, heartfelt confessions, and promises he’d never made to anyone before.
✾ Of course, you were deeply hurt and hesitant. “Words don’t mean much, Kaiser. You need to show me,” you said firmly.
✾ He offered you everything—luxury, security, anything money could buy—but you demanded something far more valuable: his willingness to change.
✾ One of your conditions for reconciliation was therapy, something Kaiser initially scoffed at. “You think talking to some stranger is going to fix me?” he said, incredulous, thinking he knew everything about psychology already.
✾ But he agreed, not just out of desperation but also because when he saw your tearful, pleading eyes filled with hope that this time it could change, he couldn’t refuse. For the first time, he understood that this was something he had to do—not even for you, but for himself.
✾ The sessions were slow and grueling, forcing him to confront parts of himself he’d buried for years—his insecurities, his fears, and his warped view of love.
✾ Over time, after almost two years, he began to heal. He learned to express his feelings in healthier ways, to apologize without deflecting, and to listen instead of always trying to be right. Winning you back wasn’t a quick process. It took years of effort, of proving he had changed—not just for you, but for himself.
✾ During this time, you were together but not entirely as close as most couples might be. You still needed proof that he had truly changed, even though you frequently told him, “I’m proud of you.”
✾ When you finally accepted him again, it was under the condition that he continued to grow. This time, he was willing to meet you halfway and love you in a way that didn’t destroy you. “You stayed when I didn’t deserve it,” he said one night. “Now it’s my turn to stay, no matter how long it takes to make things right.”
✾ You were the first person—the only person—who cared for him so deeply, who showed him what selfless, innocent, and unconditional love looked like.
✾ And, in turn, Kaiser became someone capable of deep, selfless love himself. He cherished you not as a possession but as an equal partner.
✾ The scars of your past together never fully faded, but they served as reminders of how far you had come. “You taught me how to love,” he told you one day, his voice softer than you’d ever heard it. “And I’ll spend the rest of my life proving I deserve it.”
✾ For the first time, he said the words he never thought he could mean, the words he never expected to truly feel: “I love you.”
MK:"Someone beautiful, smart, and full of love."

"Name" - Jegulus Microfic - @into-the-jeggyverse - 555 words
Warning, sort of: Vague Death Threat
--------------------------------------------------------------
"Regulus."
"No."
"Darling."
"No."
"Love."
"No."
"Reg."
"Not happening."
"Regulus."
"James, I don't care how many times you say my name, it's not happening."
Everything went quiet for a moment, and Regulus thought maybe James had given up.
"I really love the shirt you're wearing today."
James's tone - soft and quiet, just loud enough to reach Regulus through the door - made his cheeks burn, and he scowled at the closed door.
"Green is a beautiful color on you. Sometimes I see you in green, and I think it might be my new favorite color. You make everything look so pretty, Reg. I don't think I really understood how a color should look before I saw it on you."
Regulus closed his eyes, trying not to melt at the words.
"You're just - Merlin, you're everything, do you know that? You're everything to me. And I've never seen you as anything less than breathtakingly radiant."
"If I keep the door closed, then you'll never have to," Regulus replied.
"If you keep the door closed, I can't perform the counter-charm."
"It'll wear off on its own."
"In ten hours, Reg. You have to eat something."
"I'll be fine."
"Regulus, darling, love of my life. Please."
"No."
There was a quiet sigh. "Do I get a reason?"
Regulus considered. "You'll laugh at me."
"I promise you I won't."
"You will."
"Regulus."
"No."
"Okay," James said. "Alright. We can sit here for nine more hours."
Regulus frowned. "You don't have to stay."
"Love, I'm staying."
Regulus was sure he'd leave eventually. "You'll get bored."
"Probably, yeah."
Regulus rolled his eyes. "And what, you'll still sit there?"
"Yes. I'll be right here when you do come out."
Regulus huffed. Then he unlocked the door. "If you laugh at me, I'm breaking up with you."
"I'll never, I promise."
Regulus didn't believe it for a second. "It's unlocked."
"May I come in?"
Regulus rolled his eyes. "I said it's unlocked, didn't I?"
"I still need your permission, love."
Warmth spilled through Regulus's veins, and he grinned involuntarily. "You have my permission. Come in."
"Thank you." The door swung gently inward, and James stepped into the bathroom. He visibly bit down on his smile when he saw Regulus.
"You said you wouldn't laugh," Regulus reminded him, crossing his arms.
"And I'm not," James replied, visibly amused. "It's just - well. You know."
"I know." Regulus glared. "Fix it?"
"Of course." James murmured the spell, and Regulus's bright yellow skin returned to its normal shade. "There, all better."
"Hmph." Regulus fell forward, letting James catch his weight. "That was an awful spell."
"Yes, Sirius and Barty were dealing with Snape when I left," James replied, smoothing his hands down Regulus's back. "And I think Pandora was about to help."
"Hope she kills him," Regulus muttered.
James hummed. "Usually I'd try to curb the violence, but this time I kind of agree."
"I was yellow," Regulus whispered in horror. "Yellow, James."
There was a muffled sound, and Regulus bit down on James's shoulder.
"Ow." James ruffled his hair. "Sorry. Yes, it was awful. I'm so sorry that he turned you - um, that he -" James dissolved into laughter. "-yellow. Such a bright shade of yellow."
Regulus scowled, holding James closer. "I'm breaking up with you."
James broke down laughing again.
Against his will, Regulus felt himself smile.

Shifting beneath the warm cover of sheets, you stirred awake slowly. With a soft groan, you rolled onto your side and buried your face into your pillow, desperate to stay in bed longer. You didn’t feel as if you’d just managed more than a few hour’s sleep with how that heavy weight of fatigue was still weighing your body into the mattress. You had been hoping that Abel would let you sleep in this morning now that he had finally gotten out of his latest sleep regression, but with how tired you felt, you had a feeling that wasn’t in the cards for you.
Expelling a resigned sigh, you reluctantly raised your head from the pillow in order to check the time on your phone which was charging on the nightstand next to you, but the moment you opened your eyes you immediately paused. Squinting at the darkness that met your sight, a brief bit of confusion settled into you. The only light in the room was the faint bit of moonlight that always managed to trickle in past the dark bedroom curtains on the other side of the bed. You had been expecting to be greeted with the early haze of morning sunlight coating everything inside the bedroom with a soft golden glow, not the blackness of the middle of the night.
Brows knitting together as you lay there gradually waking further, you wondered what the hell that noise was coming from down the hall. Squinting your eyes even more, you strained your ears to listen closer. It took a few moments for your sleep-addled mind to register the sound as that of the shower running in the bathroom. It was another few seconds later before you noticed that the space behind you in bed didn’t hold the usual, familiar weight of Jax. A simple glance over your shoulder confirmed what you’d already pieced together–the sheets on Jax’s side of the bed were still untouched. He must have just recently finished handling things with the club if he hadn’t managed to join you in bed yet.
Reaching a hand out from beneath the comforter, you picked up your phone from the nightstand and glanced at the time on the screen, pausing to wince at how bright the light was amid the darkness. It was a little after two in the morning. Eyelids lowering slowly, a soft, defeated breath left you. If Jax was coming home this late and taking a shower, it only ever meant one thing. He’d had some club business that he’d just finished dealing with–the bloody kind.
Setting your phone back down, you grabbed the baby monitor on the nightstand next to your phone and turned on the screen. Instantly it illuminated, the image of Abel still sound asleep in his crib appearing. You smiled softly at the sight of him having rolled onto his stomach at some point in his sleep, his little legs tucked up underneath him. His face was turned to the side, his small lips parted as he slumbered. He looked so peaceful–a far cry from everything going on with his father.
Turning off the screen of the baby monitor and setting it back down, you focused in on the sound of the running water down the hall again. You rolled onto your back in the bed, one hand running across your forehead. You knew Jax was in the bathroom, his bloodied clothes probably in a discarded heap on the tiled floor as steam filled the room. Whenever he washed up after business like this in particular, the water was always scalding hot. You’d noticed how it always left a tint of red to his skin that lingered for a while even after he’d dried off, the sight always leaving you wondering just why the water needed to be so hot to burn him every single time. You had begun to wonder if maybe it was some sort of penance in his mind, or if maybe it was just a way to remind himself that he could still feel something after what he’d just done. You figured the answer lay somewhere in between.
It was a few more minutes before you finally heard the water turn off down the hall, the sudden absence of it somehow waking you further. The house felt so much more still in the following silence. As he toweled off in the bathroom, you lay awake in bed wondering which Jax you’d get tonight. Ever since he’d lost Opie in prison, it had been a toss up of what mood he’d be in. Would he just crawl into bed without a word of greeting despite you lying there awake? Or would he lean over to give you a faint, barely-there kiss before rolling onto his side and passing out? Or would tonight be one of those unfortunate nights when you had a moody, angry Jax climbing into bed with you?
You didn’t have long to ponder his mental state before you heard the bathroom door finally open. Straining your ears in the darkness once more, you heard the faintest padding of his bare feet along the carpeted hallway before you saw the bedroom door open. Your eyes immediately landed on him as he shuffled his way into the bedroom, his long hair wet and clinging to his face as the bathroom towel hung haphazardly low around his hips.
You shifted in the bed, your head rolling along the pillow as you tracked his steps through the room. The small movement caused Jax to pause, stopping just by the foot of the bed as his head turned in your direction. Through the dark you could just make out the faintest crease between his brows and the downward curve to his lips. He looked worn down in a way you didn’t often see him show. The sight instantly had your heart twisting in your chest as if an invisible fist was squeezing it.
“Jax?” you called out softly to him.
He almost seemed to flinch at the sound of your voice, his face tightening in barely restrained emotion. You were quick to push yourself upright in bed at the reaction, concern washing over you in waves. That wasn’t how he usually responded to you. You watched as he continued to make his way around to his side of the bed in the dark, dropping the towel to the floor when he finally reached the nightstand.
“Jax, baby, what’s wrong?” you tried again.
He shook his head, your eyes barely catching sight of the muscle jumping in his cheek through the darkness. Wordlessly he reached out, pulling the sheets of the bed back before he climbed onto the mattress beside you. You didn’t even have a chance to react before he was reaching out for you beneath the sheets, his large hands grabbing onto your hips before he pulled you along the bed towards him. His continued silence only grew your concern.
Having pulled you almost entirely to his side of the bed, you remained on your back as he gently lowered his head to rest along your chest, his cheek pressed in the space between your breasts. His still wet hair immediately dampened the shirt you were wearing beneath him as his arms wound themselves tightly around your waist, his naked body practically curling in around the entire length of your side as if he couldn't get quite close enough.
Hesitantly your hand reached up, gently running through the wet strands of his hair as your brows knitted together in silent confusion. Your other hand slid over his side and began tenderly stroking the bare skin of his back, the tips of your fingers lightly brushing over him in a soothing pattern against the length of his spine. You noticed his skin still felt hot to the touch from the shower as his eyes slowly closed, his face contorting in a mix of emotions once more. The sight of him like this was quickly tearing you apart internally. You just wanted to fix his pain, whatever the hell was causing it.
“I'm sorry,” he whispered.
His voice came out so quiet and broken, your ears just barely caught the two words before he shifted and hid his face against your chest. You stiffened beneath him, your hands momentarily pausing their movements before resuming a second later. Jax didn't do apologies. The man always believed he was right, and if he wasn't, he always believed he could fix whatever was wrong and make it right. That's how he'd been ever since you'd known him–headstrong and stubborn. Whatever this was going on with him right now was something else. A vulnerable side he had kept hidden even from you.
“For what, Jax?” you asked cautiously, fingers still tenderly carding through the wet locks clinging to his cheek. “What's going on?”
He shook his head against you, his forehead now pressed against your sternum over your shirt. You wondered if he could hear the nervous patter of your heart right now as he lay there.
“I'm lost, darlin’,” he murmured, his lips brushing over the thin cotton as he spoke. “I feel so goddamn lost. I don't know what the hell I'm doing.”
Your reaction was almost immediate at the raw sound of his pain; tears pricked at your eyes at the hushed confession. You'd known Jax had been struggling after the loss of Opie, especially after having watched him go like that. You knew there was no amount of retaliation that was going to bring his best friend back. No amount of bloodying his fists or drowning in alcohol that would change the reality of the world around him, a reality he was beginning to see even more clearly as the days passed. One that seemed to be eating him alive more and more. All you’d been able to do was silently sit back and watch, offering comfort whenever he’d let you, trying to take on all of the burdens outside of the club in an attempt to lighten the load on his shoulders. Yet somehow you were always left wishing there was something more that you could do for him, some way to just take his pain and solve all of his problems yourself.
“Hey,” you said gently, lightly tugging his hair to get his attention as you looked down at him still hiding his face against your shirt. “Look at me, Jax.”
He expelled a long, deep breath against you before his head slowly turned, his chin resting against your chest now. The faint light from behind the curtain fell over his face, softening the shadows and making the pain in his eyes even more visible. You could feel a lump forming in the back of your throat at the sight. You'd have given anything to erase that pain.
“I know you've had trouble finding your place running the club recently,” you began slowly, your hand moving from his wet hair to lightly brush along the side of his bearded jaw. “But that's okay. There's a lot on your shoulders right now. You’re doing the best you can and you’ll figure it out. You are figuring it out.”
His expression tightened further, as if he was fighting to keep himself from showing you how much he was truly hurting underneath it all. You hated that he kept that pain so guarded all the time, but maybe this was some sort of a turning point. One where he started to really let you in.
“Feels like I'm failing you,” he admitted quietly after a moment. “You and Abel.”
You shook your head at his words, a firm expression on your face. You knew exactly what he was talking about. He had been trying to find a way to get the Sons out of guns as cleanly and quickly as he possibly could while simultaneously trying to get the club set up to earn their income in more legitimate ways. None of which would be easy or fast, things you both already knew.
“No. Don't say that,” you quickly chastised. “You're not failing us, Jax. You're doing exactly what you said you'd do and you're trying your damn best to be smart about it. And I know how hard that's been, how much restraint you've endured to try to keep making the right call. I know all those late nights you’ve had hashing things out with Bobby and Chibs.”
Your fingers ran along his jawline, tracing a path back and forth gingerly through the blonde hairs of his beard. Jax subconsciously leaned further into your touch as you did, something you noticed he often did whenever your hands were on him like this. He always craved your touch, it was so apparent that he never even had to say it.
“You're doing good, Jax,” you whispered. “And Abel and I…we're still right here. Holding on and waiting for you to get this right.”
A small smile tugged at your lips as your other hand paused its soothing movements along his spine. Your hand instead splayed open wide along the warm, bare skin of his lower back, holding his naked body more flush against the side of you. Almost instinctively, Jax’s thick bare thigh draped itself between your own legs that were bare from the sleep shorts you were wearing as his gaze locked on yours.
“And if I have to, I'll hold on a little tighter, too,” you promised him.
There was a long moment of silence that passed between you both, those blue eyes boring into yours through the darkened bedroom. Then Jax sighed again, this time even longer and more drawn out than a minute ago. Though you caught the way a bit of the tension eased out of his shoulders as he did. One of his large hands left your hips, coming up to cradle your cheek against his calloused palm with a tenderness Jax reserved for few people in his life.
“You're too fucking good for me, darlin’,” he murmured, his eyes still locked on yours. “I don't deserve you. I don't know how the hell you're even still here with me.”
A small smile slipped onto your lips at his words, your heart beating a little easier with the shift in his tone. This was an improvement in his mood you’d happily take.
“Well that doesn't really matter because you're stuck with me, baby,” you teased back. “I'm not going anywhere. I like it here.”
The softest little huff of amusement passed between his lips before he propped himself up on a forearm, bringing his face closer to yours as he did. He paused only when his mouth was hovering just centimeters above your own, the faintest grin now settled on it.
“Guess I should stop questioning how I got so lucky then,” he mused quietly.
Without giving you a chance to respond, he closed the remaining distance and pressed his warm lips to yours. Despite how naked he was, the kiss wasn’t remotely sexual as his mouth moved so deliberate and slow against yours. It was almost as if he wanted to remind himself that you really were still right there. Your hand slid back into his wet hair, pulling him closer to you by the drying strands as your lips moved in sync with his.  This truly was exactly where you felt like you belonged. Right here with him and Abel. You had no intention of ever not being right here with him, and if you had to, you'd hold onto him for as long as he needed you to until he stopped questioning it.

neighbors (matthew sturniolo)
pt 8
The SUV rumbled to a stop in the driveway, the hum of the engine fading as Matt cut the ignition. The air felt heavier in Los Angeles, like the weight of reality had returned to settle back on all of our shoulders.
Nick, Chris, and Matt jumped out first, each grabbing suitcases from the trunk. Charlie and I stepped out slowly, our legs stiff from the long drive. The laughter and lightness of the trip lingered faintly, but the tension of everything unresolved had crept back in with the familiar surroundings.
“Alright, ladies, welcome back to reality,” Nick joked, setting Charlie’s suitcase by the front door.
Charlie grinned, rolling her eyes. “Reality isn’t so bad.” She turned to Chris, wrapping her arms around his neck as he pulled her in for a lingering hug. His forehead rested against hers for a moment before he kissed her softly.
Nick came over next, grinning as he hugged both of us. “Don’t miss me too much, okay? Group dinner soon.”
“You live next door, if I miss you I'll just come over,” Charlie said, nudging him playfully.
When it was Matt’s turn, everything slowed down. He hesitated for a moment, his eyes searching mine before he finally stepped forward. Without a word, his arms wrapped around me, pulling me close in a hug that was almost crushing. His hands gripped the fabric of my shirt like he was afraid to let go, and my cheek pressed against his chest, hearing the steady beat of his heart.
I closed my eyes, letting myself sink into the embrace for just a second longer than I probably should have. My hands rested lightly on his back, and I could feel the tension in his body, the unspoken words hanging heavy in the space between us.
“Take care of yourself,” he murmured softly, kissing my forehead.
“You too,” I replied, my voice muffled against his chest.
When he finally pulled back, his eyes lingered on mine for a moment before he turned away, walking toward the car with Nick and Chris. I stayed rooted in place, watching as they drove into their driveway the weight of his embrace still lingering like a phantom touch.
Charlie nudged me gently. “You okay?”
I nodded, though my throat felt tight. “Yeah. Let’s go inside.”
As we carried the last of our things in and closed the door behind us, I couldn’t help but feel like something had shifted, but whether it was for the better or worse, I wasn’t sure.
The soft hum of my laptop filled the empty living room as I sat cross-legged on the couch, editing the vlog from our trip. The familiar sound of laughter and waves crashing in the footage felt distant now, almost like a different lifetime.
It had been a week since we got back, and the house felt quieter than ever. Charlie had been spending her nights at the triplets’ place with Chris, leaving me to fend off the creeping loneliness.
The knock on the door was sharp and sudden, making me jump. I froze for a moment, my fingers hovering over the keyboard.
“Y/N, it’s Leo. Open the fucking door!”
My breath hitched, my body instinctively stumbling back a step. My heart raced as I stared at the door, his muffled voice sending a chill down my spine.
Without thinking, I grabbed my phone from the couch, my hands shaking as I scrolled to Charlie’s contact. I hit the call button and pressed the phone to my ear, my gaze fixed on the door like it might burst open at any moment.
“Come on, Charlie, pick up,” I whispered, my voice barely audible over the sound of my own heartbeat.
The phone rang once, then twice. Just as I was about to hang up and try someone else, Matt’s voice came through.
“Hello?”
The sound of him made the lump in my throat swell. “Matt,” I choked, my voice cracking. “Leo’s here. He’s at my door, yelling. I—I don’t know what to do.”
There was a beat of silence, then the call disconnected without a word.
I stood there frozen, staring at the screen. Did he hang up? My heart pounded as I peeked out the window.
Not even two minutes later, I saw them—Matt and Chris walking down the sidewalk, their faces set in a grim determination. Relief and fear tangled in my chest as I backed away from the window.
The pounding on the door intensified, and Leo’s voice grew louder. “Y/N, don’t make me do this! Open the fucking door!”
Before I could even think, the door swung open, and there was Matt, shoving Leo back with a firm hand. Chris followed close behind, his posture tense as he positioned himself slightly to the side, ready to intervene if needed.
“What the fuck are you doing here?” Matt growled, his voice low and threatening.
Leo took a step forward, his face twisted in anger. “This has nothing to do with you. I’m here to talk to Y/N.”
Matt’s laugh was humorless. “Yelling and banging on her door like a psycho? That’s how you ‘talk’ to her? You need to leave. Now.”
Leo’s gaze darted to me, standing frozen a few feet back. “She’s mine,” he spat, pointing in my direction. “She knows it, and you all need to stay the hell out of it.”
Tears stinging my eyes as I shook my head. “Leo, we’re done. You wanted a break—”
“A break isn’t a breakup!” Leo shouted, his voice shaking with rage.
Matt stepped forward, his jaw tightening as he blocked Leo’s line of sight to me. “She said it’s over. You don’t get to decide for her.”
Leo’s nostrils flared. “And what about you, huh? You think you can just swoop in and fix everything? You don’t even deserve to be in her life after what you did.”
Matt’s shoulders stiffened, his fists clenching at his sides. “Maybe I don’t. But I’d rather spend the rest of my life making up for my mistakes than treat her like some possession you can just control.”
The tension in the air snapped like a rubber band. Leo shoved Matt hard, and Matt stumbled back a step before retaliating with a hard shove of his own.
Chris stepped forward, his hands raised. “Alright, that’s enough—”
But it wasn’t. Leo swung first, his fist connecting with Matt’s jaw. The sound was sickening, and I gasped, my hands flying to my mouth.
Matt barely flinched. His eyes burned with fury as he swung back, his punch landing squarely against Leo’s cheek. The force sent Leo stumbling back into the porch railing, but he recovered quickly, lunging at Matt again.
The moment Leo lunged at Matt again, my instinct took over, and I stepped forward, desperate to stop it.
“Stop it!” I cried, placing myself between the two of them.
Before I could say more, Leo’s arm swung wide in his anger, and his fist connected squarely with my jaw. The impact sent me stumbling back, my vision flashing white as pain radiated through my jaw.
“Oh my God, Y/N!” Chris yelled, rushing toward me.
Leo’s face paled instantly, his hands flying up as if to apologize. “Y/N, I didn’t—”
He didn’t get the chance to finish. Matt’s face contorted into pure rage, his entire body trembling with fury. “You hit her?” he hissed, his voice low and dangerous.
Matt lunged, grabbing Leo by the collar and throwing him to the ground. Before anyone could react, Matt started swinging. His fist collided with Leo’s face over and over again, the sickening thuds echoing through the night.
“Matt! Stop!” I screamed, clutching my throbbing face.
Chris jumped into action, grabbing Matt by the shoulders and trying to pull him back, but Matt was relentless. His fists continued to rain down on Leo, who laid defenseless on the porch, groaning in pain.
“Matt, that’s enough! You’re gonna kill him!” Chris yelled, finally yanking him back with all his strength.
Matt stumbled to his feet, his chest heaving and his hands trembling, bloodied from the fight. He turned to me, his eyes wide with a mixture of rage and concern. “Are you okay? Where does it hurt, sweetheart?”
I nodded shakily, my hand pressing against my aching jaw. Tears blurred my vision as I stared at the scene before me: Leo lying bruised and bleeding out on the ground, Matt trembling with fury, and Chris trying to keep the situation from spiraling further out of control.
Leo groaned, rolling onto his side, and tried to sit up. “Y/N, I—”
“Don’t,” Matt spat, stepping forward again. Chris quickly put a hand on his chest, stopping him.
“You’ve done enough,” Chris said firmly to Leo. “Get out of here before I call the cops.”
Leo’s gaze darted to me, but I couldn’t bring myself to look at him. He staggered to his feet, wiping blood from his mouth, and limped away without another word.
The moment he was gone, Matt turned back to me, his hands hovering near my face but not quite touching. “Y/N, I’m so sorry,” he whispered, his voice trembling.
Chris ran over to his house, running inside to grab Charlie knowing that’s all Y/N wanted. Minutes later Charlie comes sprinting full force out of the front door and across the lawn to reach me, not even waiting for Chris as he runs after her.
Matt’s arms were steady as he scooped me up, cradling me against his chest, and I instinctively buried my face into his shirt, feeling the heat of his skin under the cool fabric. My heart was still racing, but his touch grounded me. He didn’t say anything, just carried me inside with a protective gentleness that made the tears begin to flow.
As he sat down on the couch, he adjusted me so that I was sitting on his lap, holding me close to him as if he would never let go. His hands rubbed up and down my arms, trying to calm me down. The sound of Charlie’s hurried footsteps were heard across the porch before she burst into the living room, eyes wide with concern.
“Oh my God, Y/N!” she gasped, rushing over to me. Without hesitation, she grabbed an ice pack from the fridge and sat beside me, gently pressing it to my swollen face. Her hand brushed the back of my head, and she pulled me closer to her, her voice shaky as she whispered, “I’m so sorry. This is all my fault.”
I shook my head, my tears falling harder now, mixing with the ice cold on my face. “No, it’s not,” I sobbed, “It’s just… so embarrassing. I can’t believe this is happening.”
Matt’s hands tightened around me as he placed his head gently on my shoulder. “You don’t have to explain, Y/N. You don’t owe anyone anything,” he murmured, his voice low and soothing. “We’re here for you. I’m here for you.”
Charlie held me close, her fingers combing through my hair as I leaned against her. “It’s not embarrassing,” she said, her voice soft but firm. “You didn’t do anything wrong, okay?”
But I couldn’t stop the tears. The weight of the situation felt too much to bear, the embarrassment of it all crushing me. The fight with Leo, Matt’s bloody fists, my bruised face—it felt like it was all too much. “Why did this have to happen? Why couldn’t I just have one peaceful night?”
Matt kissed the top of my head, his voice full of regret. “It wasn’t supposed to be like this. You should’ve never had to go through that. None of it’s your fault. Please remember that.”
I clung to him, feeling the warmth of his body against mine, the comfort of having him close. “My face fucking hurts.” I sobbed louder
“It will,” Charlie giggled, squeezing me tighter. “You’re just emotional and thinking your life is over cause you just got socked in the jaw. I promise you’ll be okay when you come back to your senses.”
I giggle into Matt's chest through my sobs.
The sound of Charlie and Chris’s footsteps faded as they made their way upstairs, leaving Matt and I alone in the living room. I wiped my tears, the sobs starting to die down, but I still felt the weight of everything pressing on me. Matt gently lifted me off his lap, cradling me in his arms as if I was weightless, and carried me toward my bedroom.
I didn’t say anything as he laid me down on the bed, the soft sheets feeling oddly comforting against my skin. He pulled the covers up around me, his eyes scanning my face for any sign of pain or distress.
“I’m gonna go clean up, okay?” he said quietly, voice rough, but it was clear he was doing his best to keep it together.
Before he could leave, I grabbed his wrist, my grip weak but firm. “Matt, please,” I whispered, my voice small, fragile. “Stay.”
He hesitated, looking at me for a moment, the blood on his shirt and hands a reminder of what just happened. He took in a deep breath, the exhaustion in his eyes almost unbearable. “Y/N, I’m a mess,” he said, his voice quiet and unsure. “I’m covered in blood…”
“I don’t care,” I replied, my voice just as quiet. “Please, stay.”
Matt’s gaze softened, and after a moment of contemplation, he nodded. “Alright,” he murmured, stepping back to the bathroom. “I’ll be right back. Just… let me shower first.”
I lay back against the pillow, closing my eyes for a moment as I tried to gather my thoughts, the emotions swirling inside me. My face still hurt, but the sting was nothing compared to the emotional toll everything had taken.
When Matt returned, he was in nothing but his boxers, his hair damp from the shower. He looked different now, calmer, the blood and anger from earlier replaced by something more vulnerable. He crawled into bed beside me, pulling the covers back gently before settling down, his arm wrapping around my waist, pulling me close. I rested my head against his chest, letting the rise and fall of his breath steady my own.
I had changed into an oversized shirt, the comfort of the fabric a small relief, and I snuggled closer into Matt’s warmth, feeling the tension slowly leave my body.
“I’m here,” Matt whispered, his fingers brushing through my hair as he kissed the top of my head.
I closed my eyes, the warmth of his body beside mine, his steady heartbeat against my ear, lulling me into a sense of calm. I didn’t know what would happen tomorrow, or how everything would play out, but for now, I just needed him here.
In the quiet of the room, with Matt holding me close, I allowed myself to drift into a deep, much-needed sleep, knowing that I wasn’t alone anymore.
I woke up slowly the next morning, the soft hum of the morning light slipping through the curtains, casting a golden glow across the room. My body was warm, Matt’s arm still draped around me, and for a moment, I felt comforted by the weight of him beside me. Then, as I shifted slightly, I felt a sharp pang of pain in my jaw. I flinched, and the sharp sensation made my breath catch in my throat.
Matt immediately looked down at me, concern flooding his eyes as he noticed my discomfort. “Hey, what’s wrong? What do you need?” he asked softly, his voice filled with worry.
I winced but smiled up at him, despite the pain. “Just… stay with me today, okay?” I whispered, my voice low and fragile. “I don’t want to be alone.”
Matt nodded without hesitation, pulling me a little closer into his chest, his hand softly rubbing my back as if to soothe the unease within me. “Of course,” he murmured. “I’m not going anywhere.”
For the next few hours, we stayed wrapped in the warmth of the bed, doing nothing but lounging and talking in low tones. We flipped through the TV channels, finally landing on an old rom-com that neither of us really cared about but still laughed at together. I didn’t mind the lighthearted distractions; it kept my mind off everything that had happened. We even joked about how cheesy the movie was, poking fun at the overly dramatic dialogue, which lifted my spirits, even if only for a while.
Around noon, we ordered food—comfort food, naturally. Matt had a burger, fries, and a milkshake, while I opted for a simple grilled cheese and tomato soup. As the food arrived, we sat on the couch together, eating while we chatted about nothing in particular. The conversation meandered through random topics—everything from silly stories about the trip to the latest memes we’d seen on Instagram. I felt a small sense of normalcy return, the type of comfort that was hard to come by recently.
After lunch, Matt suggested we try editing the vlog we had filmed on the trip. We moved to the desk in my room, and I set up my laptop while Matt helped sort through the footage. As we watched through the clips, it was almost surreal to see ourselves laughing, joking, and having a good time, knowing everything that had happened since. Matt sat behind me, his hands brushing against mine as we navigated the editing software, his presence a steady anchor.
“You know,” Matt said casually, “this trip wasn’t all bad. There were good parts, too.”
I smiled, glancing at him over my shoulder. “Yeah, the good parts were definitely worth it. And we made some memories, even if things got… messy.”
He chuckled softly, leaning down to kiss the top of my head. “Messy is an understatement.”
Once we wrapped up the vlog, we moved to the living room, deciding it was time to relax with a movie marathon. We picked a series we both enjoyed—one of those mindless, action-packed movies that didn’t require much brainpower. I snuggled up next to him, and we spent the next couple of hours watching as the characters on screen got into wild situations, while we lazily munched on snacks.
By mid-afternoon, we were both a little bored, but content. I glanced over at Matt and suddenly had an idea. “Hey, we should make a TikTok together. Just for fun,” I suggested.
Matt raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. “What kind of TikTok?”
“Something simple,” I said, grinning. “Just us, having fun, showing people we’re okay.”
He agreed, and I moved closer to him putting on a song we both knew as we lip synced it. As soon as we finished, I put the caption - we uploaded the video, laughing at how cute we both looked in the process. It wasn’t perfect, but it felt good to share something lighthearted.
After the TikTok was posted, we sat back down, and I rested my head on his shoulder.
Later in the afternoon, the doorbell rang, and Matt went to answer it. Moments later, Nick, Chris, and Charlie came into the living room, their expressions a mix of concern and hesitation. Charlie immediately came over, sitting next to me on the couch, her eyes scanning my face as if to gauge how I was holding up.
"Hey," she said softly, her tone cautious. "How are you feeling?"
I sighed, already sensing where this was headed. "I’m fine," I said quickly, waving her off.
Nick and Chris exchanged glances before sitting down across from us. Nick leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees. "You sure, Y/N? You don’t look... you know... great."
I rolled my eyes, shifting uncomfortably under their pitying gazes. "Seriously, guys, I’m fine. You don’t have to—"
"You don’t have to pretend," Chris interrupted gently. "We get it. Yesterday was... a lot."
Matt came back into the room, standing behind the couch with his arms crossed. He looked at me, his jaw tight as if he wanted to jump in and defend me but held back.
Charlie reached for my hand, her voice soft and understanding. "We’re just worried about you, that’s all."
Something about their careful, almost coddling behavior made me snap. I stood up abruptly, pulling my hand away from Charlie and taking a step back. "Can you guys stop treating me like a baby?" My voice was sharper than I intended, but I didn’t care. "Yes, yesterday was awful, but I don’t need you walking on eggshells around me. I’m not going to break."
The room fell silent, everyone staring at me in surprise. I crossed my arms over my chest, determined to make my point clear. "Can we just drink or do something fun? Let’s forget yesterday happened, okay? I don’t want to sit here and dwell on it."
Nick was the first to break the tension, standing up with a slow clap. "Well, damn. There she is!" he said with a grin, his tone teasing.
Chris smirked, shaking his head. "Alright, alright. If that’s what you want, we can do that."
Charlie hesitated for a moment, but then she smiled, standing up to hug me. "Okay, fine. But only if you promise to let us know if you’re not okay. Deal?"
"Deal," I said with a small smile, feeling a little lighter now that theyd backed off.
Matt disappeared into the kitchen and came back a moment later with a bottle of tequila and a mischievous grin. "Guess we’re doing this, then."
Charlie poured two shots, sliding one over to me with a sly grin. “Here’s to forgetting yesterday,” she said, raising her glass. I clinked mine against hers, the sharp sound echoing in the room before we both threw back the tequila. The burn was immediate, but the warmth that followed felt like freedom.
"Alright, our turn," Nick called out, grabbing the bottle. He poured shots for himself, Chris, and Matt. They raised their glasses in unison, Nick declaring, "To... whatever this night turns into!" before downing their shots together.
An hour in, the tequila bottle was half-empty, and I was at least seven shots deep, feeling a buzz that made everything a little brighter and a lot funnier. Charlie was giggling uncontrollably at one of Nick’s terrible jokes, and Chris was trying to teach Matt how to shuffle a deck of cards, which wasn’t going well.
I leaned back on the couch, letting the laughter wash over me before sitting up with a sudden idea. "Okay," I announced, clapping my hands together. "We’re all sufficiently drunk, so I think it’s time for food."
Nick groaned dramatically, as I argued with him to order me an uber to go to McDonalds. “Why can’t we just get it delivered like normal people? UberEats exists for a reason.”
I shook my head stubbornly, the tequila making me bold. “Nope. I want fresh fries, not ones that have been sitting in someone’s car for twenty minutes.”
Charlie clapped her hands in agreement, laughing. “She’s got a point, Nick. Nothing hits like fresh McDonald’s fries.”
Nick sighed, pulling out his phone. “Fine, I’ll order the Uber. But if I get a bad rating because of you, you owe me.”
“I’ll owe you fries!” I yelled at him.
Charlie jumped up from her seat, nearly tripping over the coffee table in her excitement. “I’m coming with you, Y/N!”
Before I could reply, Matt shot up from his spot on the couch, his drunk eyes narrowing. “Absolutely not.”
Charlie and I both turned to him in confusion. “What do you mean, ‘absolutely not?’” Charlie asked, crossing her arms.
Matt crossed the room, standing in front of us like a protective wall. “I don’t trust two drunk girls to go to McDonald’s in the middle of the night. I’m coming with you.”
Nick smirked, looking up from his phone. “Tough guy Matt activated.”
“Whatever,” I muttered, grabbing my purse. “As long as we get fries, I don’t care who comes.”
A few minutes later, the Uber arrived, and Matt made sure both Charlie and I were buckled.
The Uber driver was a middle-aged man with a cocky grin plastered across his face. The moment we got into the car, he started with a casual comment. “So, what brings you guys out this late?” His eyes flicked to the rearview mirror, locking on me with just a little too much interest.
I was too tipsy to care at first, so I laughed and answered, “The holy grail. Fries.”
He chuckled, a little too enthusiastically. “You’ve got good taste. A pretty girl like you deserves fresh fries, not cold ones.”
Matt stiffened beside me, his jaw tightening as he stared out the window, his hands clenched into fists on his lap. I could practically feel the tension radiating off of him, but he didn’t say a word.
The driver wasn’t done. “So, you’re from around here? If you ever need a ride again, maybe you can give me a call directly.”
Matt’s head snapped toward him, but he stayed silent, clearly trying to keep his cool. I knew he didn’t want Nick’s Uber rating to take a hit, but the frustration in his eyes was evident.
Feeling bold and a little spiteful, I decided to stir the pot. “Oh, actually—” I said sweetly, cutting myself off as I unbuckled and shifted in my seat climbing into Matt’s lap, straddling him. His hands instinctively gripped my hips, his eyes widening in surprise as I leaned in.
“Y/N, what are you doing?” Matt started, his voice low and intrigued.
“Showing him who I belong too” I pressed my lips to his, kissing him. He deepened the kiss by grabbing the back of my head to pull my face in closer, while his other hand tightened on my hip. The kiss was hot and intense, fueled by tequila and adrenaline.
I could feel the driver’s gaze darting nervously to the rearview mirror, but I didn’t care. If he wanted to flirt, he could deal with the consequences.
Matt finally pulled back slightly, his breath hot against my lips. “I'm going to have a boner now.” he whispered, though his voice held more amusement than anger.
“Good,” I whispered back, a smug smile on my face.
He groaned softly, shaking his head but unable to hide the small grin tugging at his lips. The rest of the ride was silent except for Charlie’s giggles beside us. By the time we got to McDonald’s, the driver seemed thoroughly flustered, and Matt looked like he was ready to strangle me—but not in a bad way.
The Uber pulled up to the house, and as the driver put the car in park, I turned to him with an exaggeratedly sweet smile, still feeling the tequila running through my veins. "Thank you, mister!" I chirped, leaning forward to kiss his cheek dramatically.
Matt's grip on the bags tightened, and before I could pull back, I felt a sharp smack on my butt. "Let’s go," he growled lowly, his hand lingering on my hip as he gently guided me toward the door. His touch sent a jolt through me, but I bit my lip to stop myself from laughing as we walked up the driveway.
When we stepped inside, the smell of tequila still clung to us, and Charlie was already grinning, ready to spill. “Oh my god, you guys are NOT gonna believe what just happened!” she squealed, making a beeline for Chris and Nick, who were sprawled on the couch.
“What now?” Nick asked, raising an eyebrow as he handed Chris another beer.
Charlie threw herself onto the couch dramatically. “So, we’re in the Uber, and the driver’s this totally creepy older dude, right? He keeps flirting with Y/N—like full-on, ‘call me directly for rides’ flirting. Matt’s sitting there, probably about two seconds from exploding, but he’s holding it in for Nick’s Uber rating. Like, he’s fuming, jaw clenching, hands in fists—the whole thing.”
Chris chuckled, leaning forward. “Oh no, what did she do?”
“She climbs onto Matt’s lap,” Charlie continued, her eyes wide for effect, “like, full straddle. And then she starts making out with him—like, right there in the Uber. I swear the driver looked like he was about to cry.”
Nick nearly choked on his drink. “No way.”
“Oh, it gets better,” Charlie added, holding up a finger. “When we get to the house, she kisses the guy on the cheek—like a little ‘thank you’—and Matt smacks her ass and says, ‘Let’s go.’ It was like something out of a movie.”
Chris doubled over laughing, while Nick shook his head, his mouth open in disbelief. “I cannot leave you two alone for one second. You’re both absolute menaces.”
“Tell me something I don’t know,” I said, plopping onto the couch beside Matt, who rolled his eyes but pulled me into his side anyway. His arm draped protectively around my shoulders as the group erupted into more laughter, reliving the story like it was the most ridiculous thing they’d ever heard.
The party kept going, the energy in the house reaching a chaotic peak. Chris and Charlie were in some kind of dramatic arm-wrestling competition, Nick was trying to convince everyone he could do a backflip off the couch, and I was doubled over laughing at… honestly, I wasn’t even sure what. Everything just felt hilarious.
Matt stood from the couch and stretched, his voice cutting through the noise. “Alright, it’s time for bed,” he said, looking directly at me with a pointed expression.
I grinned at him, feeling bold and bubbly from all the shots. “I’m going to bed with Matt!” I shouted, throwing my hands in the air for dramatic effect.
The room erupted into laughter, everyone yelling, “Goodnight, Y/N!” in unison like it was some inside joke we all shared.
Matt shook his head but grabbed my hand, leading me toward the stairs. I stumbled a little but let him guide me, giggling the whole way. Once we got to the bedroom, he pulled off his shirt and jeans being left in just boxers. I stood in the middle of the room, trying to yank my hoodie over my head without falling over. Eventually, I managed to kick off my shoes and flop onto the bed in just my oversized t-shirt.
Matt climbed into bed, leaning back against the headboard, looking like he was about to say something. But before he could, I crawled onto his lap, straddling his waist. My hands cupped his face, and I leaned down, pressing my lips to his in a messy, needy kiss.
His hands found my hips, steadying me as he kissed back harder “Y/N,” he murmured against my lips, his voice muffled but firm.
“Hmm?” I kissed him again, trailing my hands down his chest as I grinned against his mouth. “What is it?”
“Y/N,” he said again, pulling back slightly. His forehead pressed against mine, and I could feel his breath, warm and shaky. “We can’t… not like this.”
“Why not?” I pouted, tilting my head as I brushed my lips along his jaw. “I want you, Matt. Right now.”
He let out a deep sigh, his grip on my hips tightening slightly before he loosened it. “I don’t want to do this for the first time again while we’re drunk,” he said softly, his eyes locking with mine. “I want it to mean something. I want you to remember it—every part of it.”
I blinked at him, my drunken haze making his words sink in slower than usual. “That’s… sweet,” I mumbled, though I wasn’t fully ready to give up. I leaned in again, “Lets just… Kiss than” I smashed my lips back into his rougher than before.
“Just. Kiss. Than,” He said each word in between kissing,
I grinded my hips into his as I felt his erection grow under me, I moved my lips to his jaw, and finally to his neck where I sucked and bit it softly making sure to leave marks. I continued rolling my hips into him while he was a moaning mess.
“Fuck your making this really hard,” he said through a moan.
“Good.” I said as my hands grabbed his neck connecting my lips back to his.
After a few more minutes of making out he lifted my hips off him and placed me on the bed next to him.
“Your done. My dick actually hurts” he said, laying down pulling me into him. I giggled as I snuggled into his chest.
“Goodnight sweetheart” He said as he kissed my forehead.
I closed my eyes, the weight of the night finally catching up to me, and fell asleep to the sound of his breathing, feeling more content than I cared to admit.

Word Count: 1.1k
Masterlist
“C’mere baby” Joel’s patting his thick thigh with a lecherous grin on his face as he’s watching you peel off your gym wear, the damp nylon is sticking to every inch of you.
You respond with a soft snort “What do you mean come here? Joel, I feel gross. That work out nearly killed me today.” It had been his idea to start going to the gym together, another ‘couples bonding’ experience he’d said. He was big into that kind of thing, but honestly you were pretty sure it was so he could watch your tits and ass jiggle, he thought he was slick.
“Do I look like I care darlin’? Get that beautiful ass over here and ride my thigh, c’mon...” It’s a command and an invitation all in one, your boyfriend of two years knew what he wanted, he’s never sugar-coated it and that horny, feral part of your brain loved that about him.
So, you shuck off your sports bra over your head, tossing it into the hamper. You can feel the sweat that had collected beneath the material was now running down your sternum, trickling to your belly button. You’d already be in the shower if you were alone, but these days doing anything alone is a huge feat in itself where Joel is concerned. On the days he’s not working, or when Sarah is at school, he’s with you, making the most of your time together. Usually naked.
You watch as his once brown eyes go almost completely black with desire, pupils blown wide, the bulge in his sinfully short shorts is impossible to ignore. You’d tease him a little more if you weren’t so fucking turned on. Maybe a joint session at the gym had been for both his benefit and yours. He’d been eyeing you in your figure hugging leggings and tight little sports bra while you’d been ogling his thighs and ass the whole time.
You should have known that once you made it back to your place, you’d both be spending the rest of the day engaging in a more horizontal form of exercise.
So you tug off your leggings, shimmying out of them as you take your panties off with them, his eyes never leave you for a moment, his gaze is both predatory and appreciative. You’re his. Every day he thanks his lucky stars for that.
You put on a little show for him as you strut towards the bed where he sits, his thighs parted wide, leaning back on his palms. Your hips shake hypnotically with every step. Before Joel, you hadn’t loved your body that much, but now with the way he worships every dip and curve, whether it be with his eyes, lips, tongue or fingers, now you love your fuller frame. Gone are the days where you’d be covering up in t-shirts that swamped you at the gym, you were beautiful and you didn’t feel the need to hide any more.
You lower yourself onto his thick thigh, more defined these days, he’d said a while ago that he wanted to stay in shape now he was getting ‘older’, if not for his sake then for the sake of his babygirl and you were more than happy to support him, they way he supported you in everything you wanted to achieve.
“That’s it” He coos, leaning back just pinning you with a stare that has you melting already “Fuck darlin’ look at you, pretty as a picture. Y’look good just like this...”
You preen under his praise, a little giggle leaving you as you plant your hands on his broad shoulders and start to glide along his thigh, the ridges and hairs tickle your clit just right. “Maybe we just skip the gym next time... Stay home and fuck all day instead?” That earns you a sharp spank, making you gasp, soothed by his thick fingers pawing at the fleshy part of your cheek. It’s a sweet sting that’s left there, one you know has probably left a red mark, one that has your cunt clenching around nothing nonetheless, dribbling onto his naked thigh.
“I could spend all day in this pretty little pussy, y’know that” His hands come up to your hips, kneading the soft flesh under his fingertips “But there’s just something about you... All hot and sweaty out in public that makes my motor run baby... maybe next time y’let me fuck you in the locker room huh? Stay nice an’ quiet for me while I bend you over one of those benches? That sound good sugar?” he’s guiding you now, pressing you down harder against his thigh, urging you to roll those gorgeous hips of yours.
With a breathy moan you nod and he spanks you again, the slap echoing throughout the bedroom.
“Use your words sweetness, need t’hear you say it.”
You feel your release quickly creeping up on you, his thigh is getting slicker by the second. You grind yourself deeper agaisnt his thigh with his guidance giving your swollen little clit all the attention she so desperately needs. “Yes! Fuck baby- P-please next time... N-next time fuck me just like that...”
He can feel you tensing up on top of him, he can hear the little hitches in your breath all the subtle cues that tell him you’re about to make a mess on his thigh.
“That’s it darlin’ just like that, keep goin’.. Fuck... After this we’re gonna go take a shower together and I’m gonna bury my cock so deep inside you, that you won’t know where you end and I begin... Gonna make this tight little pussy sing for me” His jaw is set and tense as he grits his teeth, urging you to move faster, you look between the two of you seeing his cock straining painfully against the stretchy fabric of his shorts, begging to come out and play.
You throw your head back, nails digging into his taut flesh as your orgasm washes over you like a tidal wave of pleasure. The deep, filthy groan that leaves him as he watches you fall apart is one that will be engrained in your memory for years to come.
His thigh is soaked, he can feel it running down his knee and he fucking loves it. Your cries of ecstasy are just dying down when he releases his grip on your hips and helps you up onto your feet, holding you upright since you’re knees are buckling like a deer taking their first steps.
He’s guiding you towards the ensuite when he ducks his head down to drawl in your ear “C’mon baby, let’s get you all cleaned up so I can make you dirty again”.

Hey, this is one of my favourites!
nico hischier x reader Theme: fluff, birth, dad nico, alluding to smut Words: 2703
—————————————————————————————————————
The contractions had been coming steadily for hours, and now you were finally in the hospital, gripping Nico's hand tightly as the nurses prepped you for delivery. He was by your side, his face a mix of excitement, worry, and awe as he tried his best to support you. Every time you groaned or winced in pain, he whispered reassurances, his Swiss-accented voice soft and steady.
“You’re incredible,” he murmured as he kissed your forehead, brushing a sweaty strand of hair from your face. “I can’t believe you’re doing this.”
“Well, it’s not like I can stop now,” you joked through gritted teeth, trying to manage the next contraction. Despite the pain, his presence grounded you. You knew he was just as nervous as you were, but he stayed strong, holding your hand like it was the most important job in the world.
When the doctor announced it was time to push, you felt a wave of panic. The reality of what was about to happen hit you hard, and on top of the physical challenge, another thought crept into your mind: Nico’s going to see everything.
“You’re staying up here, right?” you asked breathlessly, giving him a pointed look.
Nico hesitated, glancing toward the doctor before looking back at you. “I mean… I kind of want to see,” he admitted, his voice cautious but filled with curiosity.
Your eyes widened. “Nico!” you hissed, squeezing his hand harder as another contraction hit.
“Hey, hey,” he said quickly, leaning down to kiss your temple. “I’ll stay wherever you want me to. But… you’re amazing, and I just—I don’t know…”
You couldn’t find the energy to argue, and soon enough, you were too focused on pushing to care where he stood. But you did notice when he moved slightly toward the end of the bed, his hand never leaving yours. The sound of encouragement from the nurses and the doctor filled the room, along with Nico’s soft murmurs of awe.
“Wow…” he whispered at one point, his voice barely audible over your labored breathing.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the baby’s cries filled the room. Relief and joy washed over you as the doctor placed the tiny bundle on your chest. Tears streamed down your face as you looked down at your son, Nico quickly moving to your side to see him.
He was crying too, his hand shaking as he brushed it over the baby’s tiny head. “You did it,” he said, his voice thick with emotion. “You’re… unbelievable.”
———————————
It wasn’t until later, after the baby was cleaned and swaddled, and you were resting in the hospital bed, that you remembered your earlier self-consciousness. Nico was sitting beside you, the baby cradled carefully in his arms, his face lit with pure love.
“I can’t believe you watched all of that,” you said softly, a hint of embarrassment creeping into your tone. “I probably looked—”
“Don’t even start,” he interrupted, his gaze snapping to yours. “You were amazing. I’ve never seen anything like it. You brought our baby into the world, y/n. How could I see anything but how incredible you are?”
Your heart swelled at his words, and you reached out to stroke his cheek. “You’re too good to me,” you whispered.
He leaned over, kissing you gently. “No, you’re the one who’s too good. I’ll never forget today. Not just because of him—but because of you.”
As he pulled back, the baby stirred in his arms, and Nico smiled down at them, his entire world reflected in his eyes. “We’re a family now,” he said softly. “And I’m the luckiest guy alive.”
——————————
It had been six weeks since the baby was born, and life had been a whirlwind of sleepless nights, endless diaper changes, and so much love that it often felt overwhelming. But tonight, for the first time in what felt like forever, the baby was asleep, and the house was quiet. You and Nico finally had a moment to yourselves.
You were curled up on the couch together, Nico’s arm draped around you as a movie played softly in the background. His fingers absentmindedly traced patterns on your shoulder, sending a familiar shiver down your spine. You tilted your head to look at him, catching the way his gaze softened when he met your eyes.
“I’ve missed this,” you said softly, your hand sliding over his chest.
“Me too,” he admitted, brushing a strand of hair from your face. His voice was warm but hesitant, and you could feel the tension in the way he held you. “You, us… all of it.”
You leaned in, pressing a kiss to his lips, slow and intentional. He responded immediately, his hand coming to rest on your hip, but just as the kiss deepened, he pulled back slightly, his brow furrowed.
“What’s wrong?” you asked, searching his face.
He sighed, running a hand through his hair. “I just… I don’t want to hurt you. I don’t want to rush anyth-”
You placed a hand on his cheek, your thumb brushing gently along his jawline. “Nico, love, I’m okay,” you reassured him. “I’ve been cleared by the doctor, and I feel ready. I want this… I want you. Please.”
His eyes searched yours, still unsure. “Are you sure? I mean, it was—what you went through—it was incredible, but also…”
You smiled gently, your heart warming at how much he cared. “I know it’s a lot to wrap your head around. But I promise, if something doesn’t feel right, I’ll tell you. We’ll take it slow.”
He nodded, though he still looked a little unsure. “Okay,” he said softly, his hand resting over yours. “But if anything feels wrong, you have to tell me. No pushing through, no trying to be tough. Promise?”
“Promise,” you said, leaning up to kiss him again. This time, he didn’t pull back. Instead, he held you close, his touch careful but full of love.
You guided him gently, reassuring him with soft touches and whispered words, easing both of your nerves as you found your rhythm together again. Nico was as attentive as ever, checking in with you constantly, his focus entirely on your comfort and happiness. His tenderness melted away any lingering fears you had, and soon the hesitation was replaced with the same connection and intimacy you’d always shared.
Afterward, as you lay tangled together under the covers, Nico pressed a kiss to your forehead, his hand resting over yours on his chest. “You’re amazing, you know that?” he murmured, his voice thick with emotion.
“You’ve said that a lot lately,” you teased lightly, smiling up at him.
“Well, it’s true,” he said, his gaze soft and full of love. “And tonight… was just unbelievable. Thank you.”
You snuggled closer, your heart full. “Thank YOU for always putting me first.”
As the baby’s soft cries broke the moment, Nico let out a quiet laugh, kissing your forehead again before slipping out of bed. “I’ll get him,” he said, glancing back at you with a smile. “You rest.”
Watching him disappear down the hall, you felt a wave of gratitude wash over you. Life had changed so much in just a few weeks, but your love for Nico—and his for you—only seemed to grow stronger with every new challenge.
A few moments after Nico left to tend to the baby, you heard his soft, soothing voice down the hallway. Soon, he reappeared, carrying your tiny bundle of joy in his arms. The sight of Nico in just his boxers, gently rocking your baby, melted your heart. His eyes sparkled as he walked back to your side, carefully settling the baby into your arms.
“He’s hungry,” Nico said softly, brushing a kiss over your temple as he sat down beside you.
You adjusted yourself and helped the baby latch on, the familiarity of the process already bringing you a sense of calm. Nico, however, stayed close, his eyes filled with quiet awe as he watched. He rested his chin on your shoulder, his gaze locked on your baby with a kind of reverence that made your cheeks warm.
“Does it… hurt?” he asked after a moment, his voice low and hesitant, as though he didn’t want to disturb the peaceful scene.
You glanced at him, a small smile tugging at your lips. “Not anymore,” you explained. “It was a little uncomfortable at first, but now it’s… it’s just natural. It feels like this bond—something only I can give him.”
Nico’s expression softened, and he reached out to gently run his fingers along your arm. “It’s amazing,” he murmured. “I don’t know how you do it.”
You chuckled quietly, glancing down at the baby as they suckled contentedly. “Well, it’s not like I have much of a choice. He’s hungry, and I’m his food source.”
“No, I mean all of it,” he said, his voice filled with sincerity. “You carried him for nine months, went through labor, and now… this. Your body is doing all of this. It’s incredible.”
His words made your cheeks flush, a mix of pride and shyness washing over you. “It’s not just me, you know,” you said, looking back at him. “You’ve been amazing through everything. I couldn’t have done this without you.”
He shook his head, his gaze still fixed on you. “You’re the real superhero here,” he insisted. “Watching you now… I can’t even describe it. It’s just—wow.”
You laughed softly, though his awe made you feel both shy and incredibly loved. “It’s not always this serene, you know. Sometimes he’s fussy, and I’m tired, and it’s messy.”
“Still amazing,” he said firmly, leaning over to press a kiss to your shoulder. “Messy, fussy, tired—you’re incredible through it all.”
The baby finished feeding and let out a tiny, satisfied sigh, making Nico grin. He took him from you to burp them, his movements careful and deliberate. “You’re my hero,” he said quietly, glancing back at you as he cradled the baby against his chest. “And his, too.”
The tenderness in his voice made your heart swell. As you lay back against the pillows, watching Nico with your baby, you felt a deep sense of contentment. Life might be hectic and exhausting, but moments like this—filled with love and awe—made it all worth it.
———————————
Few days after, you found yourself sitting at the kitchen table with Nina, Nico’s sister, who had come over to spend some time with you and the baby. The two of you had always been close, and she’d been a wonderful support throughout your pregnancy and the early weeks of motherhood. With the baby napping peacefully in their bassinet, you were sipping on tea and catching up.
“So,” she began, a teasing smile playing on her lips. “How’s everything going now that the little one is here? And I mean everything.”
You raised an eyebrow, pretending not to understand. “Everything?” you echoed innocently, taking a sip of your tea.
She smirked knowingly. “Don’t play coy. I mean… you and Nico. You know, after the baby.”
Your cheeks flushed instantly, and you glanced around to make sure no one else was in earshot. “Oh my God, do we really have to talk about this?” you whispered, though you couldn’t help but laugh.
“Of course we do,” she said, leaning closer with a conspiratorial grin. “Come on, you can trust me. I’m your sister-in-law, practically your partner-in-crime.”
You hesitated for a moment, but the truth was, you did trust her. She was the kind of person who could turn even the most awkward topics into something casual and easy. Finally, you sighed and admitted, “Okay, fine. Oh my god, I can’t believe I am saying this, okay… We did it…..for the first time…. since the birth. Few nights ago.”
Her eyes widened, and she leaned back in her chair, a wide grin spreading across her face. “Oh, wow! And…? How was it? Was it weird? Or was it… you know… good?”
You felt your face heat up even more, but her curiosity and enthusiasm made you laugh. “It was… good,” you said honestly, a soft smile tugging at your lips. “Nico was so sweet. He was really nervous about it, but we took it slow. He kept checking in the whole time, and it just felt… right. Like we were reconnecting after everything.”
Her expression softened, and she reached across the table to squeeze your hand. “That’s so sweet. He’s such a softie when it comes to you—I love that.”
“Yeah, he really is,” you said, your heart warming at the thought of him. “It wasn’t just about the physical part, you know? It felt like this new chapter for us, as parents but still as a couple. Like we’re figuring it all out together.”
She nodded, her smile turning a little mischievous. “And now that you’ve broken the ice, do you think it’s going to be back to normal soon? Or is it still baby steps?”
You laughed, shaking your head. “I think it’ll be baby steps for a while. But that’s okay. We’re in no rush.”
“Well, if anyone can balance a new baby and keeping the romance alive, it’s you two,” she said with a wink. “Just don’t forget to take care of yourselves as much as you take care of that little one.”
Her words stuck with you, and as the two of you continued chatting, you felt grateful to have someone like her in your corner—someone who understood, supported you, and could make even the most awkward conversations feel normal.
————————————
Later that evening, Nico returned home after running a few errands, looking relaxed and happy to be back. You were in the living room, rocking the baby in your arms, when his sister walked in from the kitchen with a sly grin on her face. You didn’t think much of it until she stopped in front of Nico, her hands on her hips.
“So,” she began dramatically, her grin widening, “I heard you two finally broke the dry spell.”
You froze, your cheeks instantly flushing a deep red. “Oh my God,” you blurted, glaring at her. “You didn’t!”
Nico’s eyebrows shot up, and his face turned pink as he whipped his head toward you. “Wait, what? You told her?” he asked, his voice a mix of surprise and embarrassment.
“She asked!” you said defensively, though you couldn’t stop the nervous laughter bubbling out of you. “And I thought I could trust her.”
“Oh, come on,” his sister said, waving her hand dismissively. “It’s not like I’m telling the whole world. Just curious.” She batted her eyelashes mockingly, clearly enjoying herself.
Nico groaned, running a hand over his face. “I can’t believe we’re talking about this,” he muttered, shooting you a mock glare. “You told her?”
“She’s your sister!” you said with a shrug, trying to defend yourself but failing to suppress your grin. “It’s not like I told a stranger.”
“Well, now she’s never going to let this go,” he grumbled, glaring playfully at his sister. “Do you have to tease me about everything?”
“Yes,” she said confidently, crossing her arms. “Especially when it’s this entertaining.”
Nico shook his head, but the corner of his mouth twitched upward despite his embarrassment. “You’re impossible,” he muttered, before turning back to you. “And you… we’re going to have a long talk about oversharing.”
You couldn’t help but laugh, your cheeks still flushed. “I’ll try to keep my secrets next time,” you teased.
Nico rolled his eyes but leaned down to kiss your forehead anyway, his affection cutting through his faux annoyance. “You’re lucky I love you,” he said softly, before glancing back at his sister. “And you—stay out of our business.”
“Not a chance,” she said, winking at you as she walked past. “But don’t worry, I won’t share any details with Mom and Dad… for now.”
You groaned, burying your face in your hands as Nico laughed, shaking his head at his sister’s antics. Despite the teasing, the lighthearted moment reminded you just how close and supportive his family was—and how lucky you were to be a part of it.

peter parker x reader you & peter are roommates, but the absolute complete opposite of each other. or are you? chapter one <- chapter 2
It had been a week and a half since your encounter with New York’s friendly neighborhood hero. Spider-Man wasn’t really on your mind as much as classes had started and you already felt like there was so much to start on. You had also convinced yourself it was just a dream and decided not to tell the rest of your friends.
Knowing you wouldn’t get anything done at home, you ended up at a coffee shop on campus to start on some assignments due this weekend. Though it was never like this before college, the idea of going out on the weekend is what made you stay on top of everything. It might not be the healthiest motivation, but hey, it was something. Music was blaring in your ears as you tuned out the sounds of the rest of the world, allowing the chaos of others around you to create pressure to stay on task, as anyone could see if you were off track.
There was a shadow looming over you that made you pause your music, only to be met face-to-face with your roommate.
“When did you get here?” It came out more rude than you intended, but you were locked in.
“I said hi to you like ten minutes ago, got my drink, and came back. If you want to be alone that’s fine! Sorry, I tried to ask but—“Peter rambled on and on but you put a hand up to stop him.
“No! No, it’s chill,” you reassured him. “Sorry, I get pretty passionate about color-coding my calendar.” Peter softly chuckled at the rainbow of pens scattered around the table as you gestured to your planner.
“Surprised you’re already working so hard this early into the semester.”
“Appreciate it while it lasts. this is how I am for maybe the first month and then burnout happens before Thanksgiving break and then I lock back in by finals.” Peter couldn’t help himself but laugh again. You smiled, admiring the crinkles by his eyes when he laughed and how his brown eyes lit up— in a friendly manner, admiring him, that is.
“So, you going home soon?” It was strange to hear Peter ask if you were going home, knowing he was referring to your shared apartment. You loved having him as a roommate, but it was still so fresh & sometimes he still felt like a stranger.
“Yeah, probably. It’s Friday and knowing my friends, we’re gonna hit up the frats or something.”
“Seems fun. Wanna walk back together?” You nodded and started to pack up your things before exiting the cafè.
“You should come out with us one night,” you suggested. The brunette boy shook his head with a smile.
“I don’t think the frats would like me showing up. Plus I’m not really the ‘going out’ type.” You didn’t respond, instead nodded along.
Within the first few weeks of living with you, Peter had noticed you’re more of the quiet type. Despite having opposite lifestyles, the two of you were similar in other ways; very reserved when speaking about life or allowing the comfortability of silence to take over. It was never awkward between you two, well maybe the first week, but it was just how he liked it later on— comfortable. Though, that never stops him from questioning what your life was really like.
-
You knew it was wrong but, hell, it felt so right. Your hands found their way up to the mop of curly blonde hair as you kissed him. The lights were flashing and music was blaring as your bodies moved together in sync, but it didn’t stop you from being in this moment with him.
“Wanna take this upstairs?” He whispered into your ear sending chills down your spine. You nodded as he took your hand and led you through the crowd up to his room.
This wasn’t the first time you’ve seen him, more like seven months with him, but not truly with him. It was almost like a routine between the two of you on nights like these; you show up at his frat, he saves the best drinks for you and your friends, and you always somehow end up tangled in him. It’s not your proudest moment every time his hands are roaming your body, making it seem like he wants you, but sometimes, it just feels so good.
“Fuck, you’re so hot,” he groaned as he threw you onto his bed, not taking another minute to reconnect his lips with yours. All you did was hum in agreement. “Look so good in that skirt,” he mumbled against your collarbone. Just as his hand was inching up your inner thigh, a phone started ringing.
“Shit— Nate, I’m so sorry. Just give me one sec,” you pulled away from him and he rolled onto the bed and laid down next to you as you answered the call. He left wet kisses on your inner thigh and you played with his hair while talking to your friend. After the call, you threw your phone onto the bed and laid back, allowing the pillows to engulf you.
“Everything alright?” He asked, his voice tender.
“I gotta go— Madi’s fucked up.” Nate pouted and tried to kiss you to stay, but you shook your head and pushed him away. “I’m so drunk that if you do that I might actually stay.”
“Maybe that’s the plan,” he nuzzled his head into your neck & wrapped his arms around your waist. It was moments like this that made you want to stay around, that made every memory between the two of you worth it despite the loneliness you felt around him. “Hey, take one more shot with me? Before you go?” He took out a bottle of soju. you playfully rolled your eyes before taking the bottle from him.
“You know I can’t say no to this shit,” you giggled as you took a swig from it.
“We still on for Monday?” Nate asked. butterflies erupted in your stomach as they always do when you get to see him outside of a party setting.
“Yeah! Wait, what’s Monday again?” Your words slurred together as you stared into his green eyes.
“I need help on a paper.” Those butterflies died in your stomach.
“Right… yeah. Just text me,” You gathered your things and tied your converse. He slipped off the bed and grabbed your face, kissing you one last time.
“I’ll see ya.” That was all Nate said.
Those three words haunted you on the way back to everyone’s apartments. There was no sympathy for your friends or concern if you would get home safe. You felt that last shot of soju really hit as you stumbled into your apartment. Mumbling a few curse words, you hoped & prayed you didn’t wake up Peter.
Not having the energy, you kicked off your sneakers and fell onto your bed, telling yourself you’ll get ready to sleep soon. The world was still spinning even when you closed your eyes to let the darkness take over. You started to think about everything between you and Nate, if there would ever be you and him.
Tap, tap, tap
Your eyebrows furrowed together, but you brushed off the sound, assuming it was just your drunken state of mind. The tapping got louder and it was starting to give you a headache. Giving in to the noises, you slowly got up and turned towards the window.
“Spider-man?!” You almost yelled in shock.
“Hey…”

Winterfest is gonna be so much fun!
Transcript under the cut~
[Luna]: I’m sorry! I was dealing with a lot. You won’t stay mad at me right?
[Daisuke]: It’s been a while Luna. I don’t like when you don’t answer my calls or texts
[Daisuke]: I can never stay mad at you
[Daisuke]: But I did see what has been said about you and your family online. I'm upset you had to deal with that alone
[Luna]: Don’t be! You’re a busy man how can I bother you with something so silly
[Daisuke]: That’s not the point sweetheart and Im never to busy when it comes to you
[Luna]: Speaking of being busy. It was so surprising when my lawyers finally got around to sending out cease and desist letters when they noticed the articles had been removed and I was getting a slew of apologies. Even Chantel Williams herself
[Daisuke]: I think they probably realized that it would be better for everyone involved if they admitted their mistakes and reflected on them. Yes?
[Luna]: You are wonderful has anyone ever told you that?
[Daisuke]: They do but I like hearing it from you. You should praise me more
[Luna]: Haha that's enough praise from me
[Luna]: What question?
[Daisuke]: You never answered my question from before.
[Daisuke]: I want you to spend Winterfest and New Years with me in Mt. Korembi and meet my family
[Luna]: oh...right I remember that
[Daisuke]: Are you not willing?
[Daisuke]: I understand. If you are concerned about his well-being I would love to also have him spend the holidays with us
[Luna]: I am willing! It’s just...I finally made up with Malcolm and we finally agreed to talk to Andre together. I feel like the fallout between the two of them will be intense and I don’t know if I can leave them like that
[Luna]: Really?
[Daisuke]: Of course. It’s clear he means a lot to you and I would like to extend the invitation personally.
[Luna]: Oh my...I don’t know how he will take that. He’s very sensitive
[Luna]: You really mean that?
[Daisuke]: I assure you I dealt with my fair share of prickly and sensitive sims. Speaking with your brother won't be an issue
[Daisuke]: Of course. It's important to me and it's a good chance to finally meet your brother
[Luna]: Then yes! I’d love to! This is going to be so much fun!
[Daisuke]: Yes. It will be. Don’t worry about Malcolm. I’ll arrange everything
[Luna]: What a man you are! You’re amazing!
[Daisuke]: More praise
[Luna]: You get all the praise!!
[Daisuke]: I’d do anything for you Luna. Don’t ever forget that
[Luna]: I mean it Daisuke. You have no idea how much this means to me, my brother is very important to me. These past few weeks have been hard and I think this will be a good break for him
[Luna]: I won’t
[Daisuke]: Good. Now come here
[Daisuke]: Don’t worry about a single thing
[Luna]: Okay~

Tags: Nanami x fem!reader, angst, tw: bullying, yuuji Itadori ooc??
Synopsis: A note from the past rekindles memories of quiet kindness and unspoken feelings.
An: This is a short fanfic that means a lot to me. I went through bullying in high school—people called me ugly and laughed at me for it. It left me deeply scarred, and even now, I can’t look at myself in a mirror when I’m out at a party or anywhere that isn’t home.
The idea for this story came from a joke I made to a friend. I told them that if my fiancé had met me in high school, he probably would’ve bullied me too (he’s always been one of those popular, well-loved guys). My friend surprised me by saying, “I don’t think so. He would’ve fallen deeply in love with you and protected you.”
And, well, here we are! Of course, I had to throw in some angst because I know you all love that. This is my longest author’s note yet, but I really wanted to share this with you. Thank you! 💕

Elementary school was a battlefield for you. You loved anime unapologetically, your heart worn on your sleeve, but that only made you an easy target. Whether it was pulling out a manga during library hours or raising your hand in class to ask the questions others were too afraid—or too bored—to ask, you always seemed to draw unwanted attention. And with that attention came the snickers, the muttered insults, the cruelty.
Except for him.
Kento Nanami wasn’t the type to stand out. He wasn’t loud, nor was he the kind of person to rush to someone’s defense with bold words or dramatic gestures. He was quiet, observant, and more often than not, detached. But you’d catch his gaze sometimes—a brief flicker of acknowledgment, a moment of stillness in the sea of chaos.
At first, you thought he didn’t care. He never said anything when others taunted you, never stepped in to tell them to stop. But then there were the little things. The way he’d linger just long enough to block someone from snatching a manga out of your hands. The way he’d redirect the attention of the class with a clever remark when your questions were met with ridicule. The way he’d sit across from you in the library, his quiet presence a subtle barrier against anyone who dared to interrupt your peace.
It wasn’t much, but it was enough.
You didn’t spend time together outside of school. You were classmates, occasional companions in a sea of indifference. Yet, in those fleeting moments, his quiet kindness felt like a lifeline.
What you didn’t know was that Nanami was watching. Not just you, but the people around you. The way they treated you, the way they laughed at things they didn’t understand, the way they mocked someone who only wanted to be herself. It wasn’t just unfair—it was senseless. And little by little, his view of humanity began to sour.
"They’re awful," he thought. "They’re all awful."
But you weren’t.
You, with your boundless curiosity and your unapologetic love for what you loved. You, who didn’t hurt anyone but bore the brunt of everyone’s disdain. You weren’t awful.
And maybe that’s why he stayed close in his own way, orbiting your world like a distant but steadfast star.
But then, one day, he was gone. When high school began, Nanami didn’t come back. He disappeared as quietly as he’d stayed, leaving no trace behind. You moved on—or at least, you thought you did.
⋆。˚ ☁︎ ˚。⋆。˚☽˚。⋆。˚ ☁︎ ˚。⋆。˚☽˚。⋆
It was a quiet afternoon when it happened. You were reorganizing your shelves, pulling out old books you hadn’t touched in years. That’s when an old English dictionary slipped from your hands and hit the floor. As you bent down to pick it up, a folded piece of paper fluttered out.
You unfolded it, and the words, written in neat, careful handwriting, made your breath catch.
"Please, never change. Thank you for everything, and always follow your dreams."
Your heart stopped.
Nanami.
The memory of him surged back into your mind like a tidal wave, sweeping away the years of distance and burying you in moments you thought you’d forgotten: the way he’d glance at you with quiet understanding, the soft curve of his rare smiles, the steady, unshakable presence he carried wherever he went.
And now, this.
Tears blurred your vision as you read and reread the note. Had he really written this for you? How had you never noticed before? How had you never realized what he meant to you?
That’s when it hit you.
You had loved him.
Maybe not in the childish way people talk about first crushes, but deeply, profoundly. You had loved the boy who sat quietly in the library, who didn’t laugh when others did, who saw you when no one else cared to look.
And now, this note. His words—thank you for everything—felt like they came from another world, another time. You hadn’t done anything for him. If anything, you owed him.
Suddenly, the idea of finding him consumed you. You had to see him again. To tell him what he meant to you. To thank him. And maybe—just maybe—to find out if he still carried any piece of those quiet, shared moments in his heart.
It wasn’t easy. You scoured social media, old directories, anything that could give you a clue. Weeks passed, and just when you were about to give up, you found it.
A photo.
It was a photo of two people: a blond man with a serious expression standing beside a younger man with pink hair, smiling brightly. The caption read: "Nanamin."
You stared at the photo, your chest tightening. It had been so many years. Could this really be him?
With trembling hands, you messaged the owner of the account, explaining your connection and asking for help. It was a risk—you knew you sounded desperate—but you didn’t care. You needed to know.
To your surprise, the reply came quickly.
"I can meet you at the station tomorrow. I’ll explain everything then."
When you saw Yuji Itadori, the young man from the photo, his face was kind but somber. He introduced himself and hesitated, as if searching for the right words.
"I know why you’re looking for Nanami-san," he said gently. "But I don’t think I can give you the answer you’re hoping for."
Your stomach churned.
"Why not?" you asked, though part of you already knew the answer.
He looked at you, his expression heavy with grief.
"Nanami Kento is dead."
