saikis powers are a vital part of him so it makes sense that people who dont know about them cant truly understand his whole self, but its also very silly to me when people act like its the ONLY important part of him... people act like his friends that arent in the know are completely blind to who saiki is, but i feel like that kinda means you missed some major points... he cant keep his powers a secret forever and it DOES matter, but he can still be loved and KNOWN without knowing about them... hes still human, he still has a personality, he still has regular likes and dislikes, etcetc

his friends perspectives on him may have been wrong at first, but they CHANGED... they know him and love him, and theyll KEEP loving him the SAME once they know of his powers...

​some people cough cough cough in this fandom like to reduce saiki to JUST his powers and its so obvious that you just. missed everything. you didnt absorb anything from the show, you just saw it and went "ha, everyone thinks hes just a guy when hes actually super cool and powerful" no no no, he IS cool and powerful but look a little closer and at his core he is still LITERALLY JUST A GUY 😭😭😭

love the idea of obito living after the war and he’s assigned to kakashi’s guard as a type of “community service” and people will pass them in a store and obito is grumbling about how he should’ve killed kakashi, the hokage, when he had a chance and kakashi blithely points out that obito’s has had SEVERAL opportunities to kill him over the last several years. but all the villagers hear is the crazy mass murderer war criminal telling their hokage he wants to kill him and kakashi just :3 *shrugs* because if obito wanted to kill him, he would have.

It just bugs me when the fandom treats Tails as a baby who has sonic as his daddy. Tails may be younger than sonic, but that doesn't make him a helpless diaper baby that needs sonic to wipe his ass. Tails was living on his own even before he met sonic..he has multiple workshops and creates glorious inventions and kicks badniks ass.

I'm not really broken up about people making fanon aus or whatever. But the amount of times there's like a new Tailstube or whatever and someone goes "OMG see! This is the proof that Tails is a 5 year old baby boy that Sonic is actively teaching to read and is practically parenting! All sega needs to do now is make him stay home and go to school and act more like Sonic's kid brother!!🥰" while Sonic and Tails are chilling in one of Tails multiple homes that Tails owns and allows Sonic to crash at

Or the amount of animations/comics that give him Cream's speech patterns, make him naive af and oblivious to "adult" things like *checks notes*...kissing(?), a gremlin baby child who can't stand losing games to Sonic, actively say "it's basically canon that Sonic actually owns Tails' shit", claim (incorrectly) that classic Tails was an infant child that Sonic picked up and started raising, etc, meanwhile everyone glazes up op talking about how so super canon that is and how that stuff basically canonically happened...

It's just kind of staggering. To me it could not be more clear of a case of people needing their fanon to be "basically canon" so they can feel like they're justified for liking it and so they can justify alienating people who don't share the same headcanons as their illusionary majority

i do find something quite beautiful about the way saiki kusuo in particular is so often the subject of such a diverse array of headcanons and fanart. something something shared experience of feeling like you need to hide some fundamental truth about who you are, like there is a wrongness placed upon you at birth that has always singled you out. and so many people can see that painful little part of themself that wishes he could close himself off forever, and simultaneously seeing that unconditional love and acceptance and happiness saiki finds and thinking “i deserve that too”

Thursday:

Vio and Shadow helped me with my work again :) We had to write a vignette (basically a short story with only two characters) and *sigh* yeah... I chose Vio and Shadow. Fluffy? Nope :) Would've been angsty asf if I didn't remade it to match like slice-of-life style :D

My computer science teacher plays Nintendo music during class and i love it sm ^^ So far she played Courage from TP (i love that song it makes me wanna cry), Mario Galaxy, and a lot of pkmn soundtracks :D Since I only played Kanto and Johto so far, i didn't recognize much but I knew it's from pkmn. And that day, she played a soundtrack of a route from Leaf Green. I don't know what route it is, ill try to find it, but I wanted to cry. It, it brought such nostalgia and memories i wanted to cry right there in the middle of the class. Leaf green is my first pkmn game and I love it sm and hearing that soundtrack was so nostalgic 😭😭😭 I literally barely held back my tears until it was over and she played another soundtrack from pkmn again but with no deep meaning for me. LEAF GREEN MY BELOVED I MISS YOU 😭😭😭 VENUSAUR MY SON I HOPE YOU'RE STILL ALIVEEEEE 😭😭😭💚💚💚

Friday:

I had to edit the vignette for my teacher to grade it and it was actually so hard 😭 Im bad at editing my own work and it was so hard bcuz i love to detail stuff but a vignette is supposed to be short. I barely made it. When I kinda did it, i showed it to my teacher and this is exactly what happened:

Teacher: I see that you're a passionate reader. This is great!

TSoTT Shadow in my imagination: *gently bumps me with his elbow* hehe, told you. I told you your writing is great! Now ya shouldn't doubt TSoTT cuz ya actually try very hard with it!

Me: Yeah, i do love to read lots of stories. Im actually writing one.

Teacher: great job! *writes a 100 in the grade book*

TSoTT Shadow: *grins mischievously at me*

Me: Thank you.

(Yeah im a crazy person I actually imagine my TSoTT boys talk to me and interact with me during regular day. Shadow is most commonly bcuz imagine him coming out of my Shadow and it isn't rare for Vio to be too)

This time my computer science teacher played pkmn soundtracks again, but this time there was no that caused such nostalgia from me. I tried to take my headphones to find what route it is, but my headphones didn't work so i had to leave it for later.

I spedran all of my work as fast as I could just so i can be free for spring break :D I was actually barely able to do it and im so happy :3 I was literally staring at the clock and zapped out of the classroom when the bell rang, i really wanted to leave bcuz this week wasn't really nice to me :(

I just had to yap for a bit bcuz when I yap about random stuff it means that im happy and i am actually happy since I have lots of stuff planned out. Everyone continues to be pessimistic around me and today I think it was even worse idk. But I don't wanna focus on that now, i wanna take care of myself and be positive after 3 fucking years :3
