I think the reason you both met is becuase an argument: with you and other people or with him and you, physical or ethical it doesn't matter.

The thing is that your spirit makes him seem you worthy for a chat.

That chat transformed in ocasional meet ups and then in exchanging den den mushis.

If you confess first, he will just nod and kiss you slowly and gently.

If he confesses first, he will try to do it like the old way: setting up a date, buying flowers and/or chocolate and ask you formaly.

But that would take sometime cause he knows he is a wanted men, even if he is powerfull he knows that life isn't for everyone.

When going overseas for official duties, he prefers not to be cooped up in that weird iron bird creature (it's an airplane, hun). So he instead flies to the country in his dragon form. Imagine people's awe when this gigantic, magnificent creature lands gracefully, lowers his head down carefully, and out of his mouth hops not one, not two, but three little dragons. They're so tiny you could swear they're cute little dogs.

He always goes to meetings clad in heavy robes. More often than not though, his mysterious cloak has a peculiar feature: it produces three sets of giggling voices every once in a while, especially when the room goes deadly silent.

Once an hour passes though, three little tykes get magicked out of the cloak like how a bunny hops out of a magician's hat. The wyrmlings like to climb on and off papa's back and munch on his horns. Everyone could only glance in amazement at how strong their Majesty's neck muscles must be to withstand the weight.

The three siblings still have very small wings but would always attempt to fly. 🌸 always almost has a heart attack when they inevitably come crashing down from their disproportionate weight, but 🐉 would save them the last second with his magic. He'd laugh loudly and hug 🌸 to reassure them none of their babies would get into accidents while he's alive.

I say accident because the three would frequently get hurt on purpose anyway. Their parents don't understand why, but one of their hobbies seem to be beating each other up in any way they could think of. 🐉🌸 would often wake up in the dead of the night because one sibling hurled another off the bed, simply because he/she was hogging 🌸's chest apparently. 🌸's chest is their favorite snuggle spot.

While 🐉 frankly doesn't have all the time in the world, he strictly employs a 8-5 work hour like a regular person. He doesn't really mind working but ever since he's started a family, he believes this is finally his god-given grace so he'll do it properly. His spouse is very capable in assisting him so they never really had problems with this arrangement.

So he likes to be closer to his babies and feeds them personally while it's still normal. He kinda just force-feeds them mashed food with a spoon in a row though. "Can't you make it more fun? Like, open wide, here comes the flying broom!" "I am simply not a sappy person." "You feed me while saying cheesy shit though..." "I cannot very well say those kinds of things to my children."

When he bathes them, he makes them line up and dunks them into a pool one by one. When they're in their dragon form, he scrubs them with a brush like he's doing laundry.

He hangs them on a clothesline to dry them on a sunny day lmao. "What are you doing to our babies??" "What? They enjoy it." Fair enough, the little gremlins are giggling.

When 🐉🌸 gets one those snazzy refrigerators with a water faucet and ice dispenser in front, the siblings like to sit on top of each other's shoulders so they could steal ice cubes for themselves. Or lap at the running water like thirsty dogs.

Grim has dedicated water bowls all over the place because he finds it hard to pour from a pitcher, and the feral siblings actually prefer lapping from those than go to the refreshments table to fetch a drink. The first time 🐉🌸 saw this, they were so shocked they kinda just stared blankly.

"Are... Are they actually dogs..." "I do not know, at this point." "Did you do this too when you were little?" "We did not have any semblance of a pet so I do not think so." Lilia reveals later though, that 🐉 drank from the damn toilet once.

He likes teaching them all manners of things. He gets a bit too intense sometimes though, what with them failing over and over again on what he thinks to be simple tasks, so 🌸 has to remind him gently that they are not him and shouldn't ever be him. He lets up and smiles. Yes, this is what children are supposed to be.

He legitimately doesn't have any ounce of experience with fatherhood and was suddenly thrust with three, so 🌸 honestly thinks he's a bit clumsy when it comes to taking care of them. Really clumsy and callous, actually.

But when 🌸 chances upon their three babies curled up against him, with him napping soundly and still holding an illustrated book on gargoyles and their history (goodness, he never changes), they thought he wasn't so bad after all.

Thinking harder about it though, what with him carrying the weight of the country while carrying the weight of three chubby babies and a feral cat, he might be the best father ever, after all.

- that was how his mindset worked until he found a certain little mortal wandering out and about, making an offering to him. Now that? That REALLY sparked his interest.

- you wouldn't imagine that evil little grin of mischief on his face. I mean, he was never worshipped before, this was an entirely new feeling to him!

- Even knowing the horrible deeds he's done, or what type of person he is...you didn't care. You did your thing anyway, showing your respect to him. That little tint of hope on your face, completely determined to worship him...

- That was one hell of a turn on.

- He was so so so so soooo excited. overjoyed and overwhelmed with emotions, is this what respected gods get to experience? And HE, out of everyone, was missing out on the fun???

- After that day, the gods were always left with someone lacking in a meeting. Or perhaps, the room just wasn't as full of sly comments or remarks. It was eerily peaceful to say the least. But it's better than putting up with some green headed jerk, right?

- Like forget playing pranks on people, he had a new form of entertainment. Probably giving little clues in your surroundings whenever you ask for signs that he was listening.

- he'd learn your name, and get incredibly upset whenever your attention was not on him. You were his worshipper, so you had too act like it, no arguments needed.

- I just imagine one time the gods are in a meeting, he'd randomly brag about his dear loyal worshipper, making comments like "oh, my dear beloved (y/n) also has a thing like that in the mortal world~" when Thor was literally in the middle of talking about a brutal slaughter that occured somewhere around the place. 💀

- it even weirds out the deities thinking about how much he knew about you.

Beelzebub

- now, beel here is different. He's been known to be evil itself, and all the works written about him is just all the brutal and horrible things he's done.

- He was also aware that many disliked him, but what could he do? He was rumoured to be Satan himself. it wasn't his fault, but all the fingers were pointing at him.

- then he found you, a very determined worshipper with sworn loyalty to him. You believed that he was innocent, and it wasn't his fault. Catching him off guard for once.

- that of course, made him feel a little nice inside. But he had to stop himself. You were just a pitiful mortal with hope, and hope doesn't last very long.

- it made him nervous. What if he repeated the same mistake he had committed before? What of he kills another innocent life who wanted nothing but to worship him?

- he'd try to send signals to you, a sign that you should stop. Trying to get you off his back. But you never did, you didn't care.

- it made him warm, and nice. For the first time in ages, he experienced a nice feeling. And now that he's more controlled with his emotions, he could atleast try. Maybe give it a little chance.

- he found out what your name was, and it brought him peace whenever that same name took up some space in his thoughts.

- Maybe here and there, he'll help you out a bit, Getting rid of those who've done wrong to you. Maybe even showing vulnerability in some occasions.

- and on very very rare occasions, he'd get a little jealous. A little jealous when you show care towards another. He actually did enjoy your love towards him, and had gotten used to it.

- even if he was cold and unapproachable, He had a little soft spot for you in his heart.

- He wanted to cherish this feeling, just for a little while.

Hermes

- mf literally goes around spying on people's private affairs. You know when Poseidon 'killed' adamas? Bro was literally eavesdropping, but got caught anyway. Not even afraid of admitting that he was a rotten scoundrel/cause for a few problems.

- that's why the gods keep an eye out for him, knowing that if word ever got out about anything, it may as well end in chaos.

- he's pretty chill, unless you try him. Finding out that he had a worshipper did quite amuse him in a way. Not to the point where he'd be like Loki..*cough*

- maybe a word would slip out of his mouth, a little "oh my.." possibly.

- I have a little headcanon that since he's pretty handsome, he has a few share of admirers. Maybe nymphs and so on. That's why a worshipper wouldn't really come off as too much of a surprise. I could be wrong.

- But all that aside, seeing your desication and loyalty to him was a nice feeling. especially since nowadays, there weren't many who bothered worshipping deities they couldn't even see. Some growing detached from their own beliefs, and giving up.

- The world is a big place, yet you were the one to catch his eye the most. And maybe he might've grown a little fond of you.

- in his spare time, he'd be composing beautiful melodies dedicated to you. Ehem, as a way of showing his appreciation of course. Don't have your mind wandering off any further than that.

- There were probably also deities out there who hated his guts, not that it mattered to him. He has no more interest in that. he was more busy and happy to give his attention towards you and your little beliefs.

- Maybe at night, you might hear the faint sound of a violin, a beautiful melody that puts you to sleep. Waking up to believe that it was just a dream..or so you thought.

Oh man, I think I have a thousand little ideas for about every One Piece character I've spent 2 seconds thinking about, be it villains or not.

It's one of those cases where it's nothing concrete or big, and a lot of it verges on "character analysis" rather than headcanon, so I have a hard time listing specific things. But talking about all the big theory stuff or deep character analysis would probably be not what you're asking for + I'm not focused enough to do that right now, so let me think of some funny inconsequential stuff.

I don't know. Fuck. It's like I forgot every thought I've had about these science jerks. Idk. Caesar can't smell anything anymore due to all the toxic gas and chemicals burning his nostrils for years. Judge has severe back pain due to being 270-something cm tall and also in his 50s (and he deserves every second of it). Queen didn't loose his arm in an accident, he chopped it off on purpose to give himself a sick robot arm. All of them would have the most severe presbyopia right now were they not some of the few people on the Blue Planet with access to corrective eye surgery. Screw it, Stella didn't make the Satellites' consciousness via Brain-Brain fruit he was simply plural already, he just used the fruit to add a sense of concreteness to them and help with the android body inhabitation. Ms. Buckin' has a serious gambling addiction and got scammed by whatever the OP universe version of crypto is.

Joke headcanons aside.... let me think of more interesting stuff. Long post so it goes under the cut. You've been warned.

I''m fully convinced Queen made the Marys. Was that ever confirmed or touched upon? It's insane to me that canon never like, explained their existence. That makes total sense, right? Are all of them like, robots/artificial lifeforms, or are they cyborgs like Queen himself, and were once living beings? I think if he made them, either way, he has a funny uncle-niece relationship with Bao Huang. He's metaphorically giving her a gun and going "hell yeah go do crime little dudette". Also I like to think whoever the mother of his abandoned son was, was probably another member of the Beast Pirates. Also a big part of his rivalry with King definitely comes from the fact that King doesn't Trust Scientists after what happened in his childhood, and Queen knows that and tries to intentionally make him uneasy because he finds it entertaining.

I'm convinced of the "Caesar has some sheep/goat Mink ancestry" thing, it makes full sense. Even in a post-"horns in humans tend to signify Ancient Giant ancestry"-reveal world, I think the design of them looks too much like sheep/goat horns, rather than the more bovine design we've seen from everyone else. I know this is boring "everyone has this headcanon at this point" territory, but it just makes full sense to me. As a character in general, I think he's very easy to read, so I don't know if I have anything more unique to say about him. In my head, the reason he got hired at like, a very young age to join MADS, is because he gained a name for himself in the Underworld by doing some sort of horrific bio-terrorism type experiment that left a bunch of like, Marines dead or something, when he was a kid, and that put his name on Lu Feld's ears.

As for Judge, that piece of shit and his stupid little family have enough juice from being featured heavily in an entire arc that it's super easy to come up with a lot of things about them. I think for starters, his marriage with Sora was most likely arranged, mirroring WCI. It seems to be how royalty does things. I do wonder who Sora's family was before that, though, and how she ended up there.... Too many questions without answers until we get like an SBS or something. It'd be really poetic if she was from a royal East Blue family or something, considering Sanji ended up there... Also, I think that him being allowed to fuck off from whatever his royal duties might have been, at a very young age, and join MADS is interesting. So in my head, whoever the previous king / his father was, he was probably one of the funders of MADS. Both as a desire to invest in weapons for Germa, and to feel that he had a sense of control over whatever his (presumably only) son was doing. Also I think Judge and Queen had a Sanji vs Zoro type rivalry, obviously. He got called "twirly-brows" (derogatory) at LEAST once by him. I also like to think a lot of his horrific hypocrisy comes from a place of disgusting projection and insecurity. This man definitely grew up being a weak crybaby until his horrid ideology and pampered upbringing forced him out of it.

Ms. Buckingham is a VERY interesting one, because I feel like we already know a lot about her and also absolutely nothing. The Rocks Pirates are for sure a group we'll get more flashbacks on, eventually. Looking at the timeline, I like to think that after she saw her own clone (being the first ever successful human clone), she immediately started attempting to create Weevil. I like to think this was somehow her way of getting "revenge" on Newgate for "dumping her" or some petty motivation like that, on top of desiring his strength. That boy is a (not-so-successful) clone for sure. The Rocks Pirates had recently been dismantled at that point. I don't think it's a coincidence that Weevil is 35 and Stussy (clone) is 36 lol. It looks like she saw, she immediately tried to copy, she failed.

And for Stella.... now that's a man who's entire history we kind of already know of. There's so many good meta and analysis posts around Tumblr, even stuff I've written, so I'm not sure what to add. The plurality thing wasn't a joke. But other than that, I think that -to combine this with a Stussy (clone) headcanon, he was forced by the WG to hand her off as a Cipher Pol agent. 26 years ago, as an exchange for Not Getting Arrested and instead Being Hired by them. She would have been exactly 10 years old at the time (temporally; with her being a clone, we don't know what physical and mental age she would have been). He must have been raising her until that point, right? He was her creator. I think that the WG made a demand that she's taken as an agent, and like any father, I like to think Stella was reluctant to hand her over at first, but eventually decided it'd be safer for her too. i think he's always been torn between loving his home, the house he grew up in and the river he played in as a child and the hills he knows like the back of his hand, and yet still deeply longing to leave his little world behind, because he never quite fit right. (and he did! he got out!) but then suddenly he's right back there. he goes back to his childhood home but it's not home anymore and he doesn't know why.

so would he stay and try to fit again, even though he's grown out of his place there? or would he leave, and go looking for whatever had changed him?

YESSS I am so 100% on board with everything you said here. jamie really feels to me like he's someone who's so deeply rooted in his place and his culture, and yet someone who's been battling off this sense of isolation his whole life, and it's all tangled up and complicated inside him. in part he knows his home like the back of his hand /because/ he was somewhat isolated and spent a bunch of time wandering around on his own, and connects to his culture so much because he was chasing a sense of belonging. and on the other hand he had friends and was probably well-liked! but the isolation is still there. maybe even worse for the fact that he wasn't entirely alone.

I do think the crucial point to what jamie does when he's back in scotland is. why exactly he stepped on board the tardis in the first place. which is something I still don't feel like I've fully been able to express even after literal years of trying, maybe because it works best as an impulse borne of him having a deeply traumatic turned deeply strange day. I hc that while jamie's father, brother, and best friend have now died, his mother is still alive and at home, along with other relatives and much of the rest of his community. he /has somewhere to go back to/. he chooses not to go to france and to try his luck with making it home instead, and then all of a sudden he's stepping onto the tardis. sure, he's somewhat confused, and certainly doesn't know what's happening or that he won't be able to get back - but he does still go with them. in that moment, some part of him wanted /out/. going with people he knew to france didn't tempt him, but running off with basically total strangers did. he wanted an entirely fresh start, a blank slate.

on the flip side, the jamie who gets sent back after the war games is /different/, even subconsciously. somewhere buried in there is a person who's more mature, has had three more years of experience, has dealt with so much more and stepped up in ways he probably couldn't have dreamt of when he first left scotland. he's dropped back on drumossie moor, apparently in daylight, presumably with something implanted in his head telling him that the doctor and ben and polly left, he waved them off and turned towards home. so I think that's what he'd do - he'd go home, and try to pick up the pieces as best he could.

at this point, and as he realises more and more that something's /not right/ and he's missing something, I think his sense of isolation is worse than ever. he's so, so close to snapping. but his whole world is holding on by a thread, now - his own family has been decimated, many others are in the same position, they're close enough to culloden and inverness to be subject to a few reprisals and raids from the government - and oddly enough I think that holds him together. he steps up, because somewhere deep inside he knows how to do that now. he's grown up. maybe everyone else just puts it down to the war. it's not like they know any better. and if we know anything about jamie, it's that he can hold himself together if someone else needs him. is it good for him? certainly not. but he's hanging in there.

in my timeline for things he does settle down somewhat once he starts to regain his memories and understand what's happened to him. it /is/ just another thing that sets him apart, and that always hurts, but he's also more confident and understands more about himself than he did growing up, so it rattles him less. he's probably easy to talk to and go to with problems, and friendly enough that you never really realise he doesn't open up about himself. he grows into a bit of a leadership position in his village, and it's good for him, in a way. he's also his own person, not his father's son, and I think that's a sick sort of relief for him. marrying kirsty also helps, because she's a fellow misfit and a great friend, and someone who he can share the truth with. their 'more children than there are days of the week' are lost and orphaned kids they collect, because he's not going to let anyone else grow up alone. it's a weird sort of limbo where he's waiting for the doctor but also has no certainty that he'll ever see him again, where he's made a life he's proud of with people he loves and yet there's always parts of him that are desperately unhappy - but he's getting by. he's good. he's got good things that get him through.

if he /didn't/ get his memories back, though, if he was just caught in that confusion forever... that's where I could really see him leaving. at some point he /does/ snap, and he just. heads off on his own, looking for something he can't remember. it feels good, to always be on the road, maybe to help people where he can as he passes through. he's not tied to anyone, doesn't have to be who anyone else wants him to be, and there's freedom in that. but he always feels like he /shouldn't/ be alone in this, that he should be wandering with someone.

He's a skeleton who likes dates to be indoors but unlike Cash he likes walking around and going on fun outings. He's often outside with his brother or watching over everyone anyway so he's developed a love for things like picnics, walking at night, stargazing and the like.

His fear of the world resetting again often causes him to close himself off. I mean, for him it doesn't matter, right? Cause it's just going to start back at square one. But that day never comes. He knows that it won't happen again but it's still a huge worry for him. So I think it'd be hard to get on his trusting side first, no matter how much he likes you in a romantic light.

When he starts to warm and loosen up around you I think he'd be a really sweet date mate. He likes to lean on you a lot, not in a mean 'poking fun at your height' way more like a 'he's tired and likes the warmth' kinda vibe/beat.

He does small things that don't really seem like a big deal but are caring and endearing like blowing smoke the other way (unlike Cash), offering you food and drinks (even though he mostly consumes honey), and just small miscellaneous stuff kinda like sharing blankets and lending you clothes.

Stretch most definitely, enjoys seeing you in his colors. Or even shirts for that matter. It's like you're carrying a part of him everywhere that way! He'd also be a bit corny with his puns and get a little embarrassing but he continues to make them because you laugh at them. Also because his brother groans dramatically and he thinks it's funny.

Loves taking naps with you. Also lazy dances in the kitchen at night make him smile very wide. He's not immune to flattery as well though so I think Stretch would also get kind of flustered at small intimate acts. Definitely tries to play it cool and fails.

Pretty lazy skeleton who likes low effort activities, greedy and lazy. So like, dates and stuff would be typically in doors where he doesn't have to do much. I.E. movies dates, dinners and typical gaming sessions that turn into hang outs. Stuff like that.

Cash most definitely has commitment issues. He's not used to a constant relationship with him and his brother disagreeing so often and his relationships with other people tend to be either flings or people he's robbed.

With that being said, he would like to hang out often once he realizes you're not going to up and leave him so quickly and I think he'd get pretty clingy. Likes to have an arm around you and enjoys physical touch. Cash would probably like to be lazy with you and annoy people with you around. You have interesting perspectives and reactions to things so he'd like to mess around and get kinda mean with his pranks, whether that is towards you or other people just depends on the day.

Side note but because he's a greedy skeleton in general I don't imagine he'd let you wander off far from him too much. Cash values your time a lot and can get petty when you start to get busy without clueing him in too. He likes to be a part of what you do.

Definitely the kind of guy to fuck with you by doing small annoying shit like blowing smoke your way and getting overly possessive over you and what you're doing. Again, his greed gets the best of him very often. Oh also definitely the type of guy to put shit higher on the shelves so you need his help. (<-- this backfires when his brother gets onto him about it)

Swapfell Papyrus! Mutt/Rus

The feeling of his house suffocates him a lot so I think he'd like to be more out and about. So dates would typically be at events like aquariums, carnivals, walks, lantern festivals/Diwali and things of the like. He doesn't have to do too much but he also gets to enjoy new sights and get out of the house.

Mutt! He's a very quiet and stand off -ish skeleton. So I think even beginning a relationship or friendship with him is going to be a challenge within itself. He doesn't typically reply back in conversations and is very curt and straight faced.

I think the beginning of your relationship would start with either his brother taking a liking to you or you making it your goal to at least get him to crack a smile.

Because his brother is very.. well, demanding and strict he doesn't like being caught slacking. So when he quietly laughs at something you said he immediately cringes and tightens up, judging by your open mouthed and wide eyed expression he assumes you notice and quickly retreats to his room.

I think he starts to learn to relax a little around you. Lots of leaning on you for support and pulling you into his lap, while he mumbles incoherently about his day or people around him into your shoulder. The romantic feelings start very late, he's a sucker for casual intimacy so he doesn't really pay attention to the implications of being so close and around you 24/7. He just enjoys the soft comfort of your presence a lot.

Once that feeling of yearning sets in, it takes a while for him to confess to you. Out of fear of losing the few soft people he has around him. But you guys eventually start dating! Which includes a lot of small domestic acts like sewing up his jacket, cooking for each other and just generally being close with one another. Totally softie.

Especially likes to lay down in your lap and just.. lay there as you idly run a soft and gentle hand down his skull, soothing his troubles. Much like the trend of taking naps with your partner I think he especially likes to wrap his legs and arms around you, caging you in to nap.

Much like how he is with his brother, gets over protective as well with you. Includes a lot of glaring and holding you closer. Sometimes he even growls lowly, which, you didn't even know how could do.

Ok Mouthwashing crew cat assignment as well as hcs.

Curly: the hardest for me to assign, I would say Main Coon or LaPerm. They have personally similar to Curly's and appearance vise too.

Cat Curly would get along with all the cat crew. He loves to sit near windows and observe the outside world. His favourite toy would be fish shaped, but he doesn't have any strong preference. This kitty is very polite and clever: when you call your cats he understands you and gathers all others cats. The best bug hunter, Curly will save you from any unwanted bug. Brings stuff to you too, like small trinkets or even his prey (still alive though, be careful!!). Camera likes him and he does very good poses.

Post stove cat Curly would be alert and quiet. Unfortunately he would be depressed, having troubles playing and eating, preferring to sleep at some secure place without people. Meanwhile cat Jimmy would become more confident and erratic, making trouble for everyone in the house. Curly wouldn't like taking his meds at all, his meows are extremely hard to listen to. Cat Anya could be found near him more often.

Jimmy: street Tabby cat with evil looking green eyes (found with flees and diseases too💚💚💚)

Cat Jimmy is a menace. Knows he is not allowed to scratch furniture and walls but still does it. Takes others' toys and hides them all the time. Fail cat because he can't groom himself properly (cat Curly has to help). Meows are weird and loud: DO NOT close any doors. Jimmy loves hunting, always in hunting mode but as mentioned above he is a fail cat. Play fights with Curly a lot, once he tried with Swansea and it didn't end well for him. HATES patting but doesn't mind head scratching. His tail is a no-no. Steals food from others, especially Curly (because he lets him), so you have to lock Jim away somewhere.

Swansea: Persian is made for him!!

Cat Swansea is very old and independent. He's hard to read, but if you manage to learn how, you'll be rewarded. Likes to be alone and watch the order in the house from his favourite spot. Quite distressed if something is amiss and doesn't like new stuff and strangers, especially kids but he has the saint's patience. Flicks tail in annoyance, flicks tail in annoyance, flicks tail in -- Swansea can eat anything, but he knows he's not allowed to eat human food. Would still look veeery intently at the ice cream you bring. If it doesn't contain chocolate, give him a lick or too....

Anya: unsurprisingly Russian Blue, from my experience very gentle cats.

She doesn't get along with all the cats. She and cat Jimmy have had nasty fights (he always initiated them), other cats had to step in as well as you. Anya enjoys human company more, especially if it's the humans she knows. Otherwise she hides somewhere for a while and then tentatively returns to sniff newcomers. She can sense negative emotions well so she will come and sit on the lap and purr... for hours. Cat Anya loves sleeping beside you or under your covers with you. She chirps and looks at you when you call her. A foodie, don't feed cat Anya too much or she will get sick.

Daisuke: Japanese bobtail cat with calico tri colour coat (cute bell provided)

Cat Daisuke is a menace but in light-hearted sense. He loves to explore your house, always gets stuck somewhere or breaks something but never on purpose. If you open a cabinet or a drawer, expect to find him sitting there (he will learn to open things himself anyway). Jumps when scared but quickly recovers. He's a young cat so he's still very active, loooves to play, the faster the game the better. Doesn't like to play alone though, he needs attention from anyone or he will sulk. Successfully begs for treats: Daisuke looks very cute and polite and you hate yourself for caving in every single time. Sticks to cat Swansea: one time Swansea hisses at Daisuke, the other time he grooms the younger cat. Strange.

the funniest thing about girl mikami is that i think that she would be the exact same. like every other member of team kira performs gender like their survival depends on it but mikami does not care about any of that. cis girl mikami is the same. trans girl mikami who realized her gender in childhood is the same. i tend towards thinking canon mikami is a guy (cis or trans) or perhaps nonbinary-but-i-have-a-job but you could make a really good argument for transfem egg teru mikami as well, and guess what? she's the same too!!!! teru 'my gender is The Law, and also i'm a woman' mikami. it literally does not affect her psychology or behavior whatsoever. she has prosecuting to do.

(i will assume for the rest of this post that mikami is either cis or socially transitioned fairly early and got gender affirming healthcare in college. i didn't do anything more than a really quick google but it looks like it was plausible by then)

in practical terms she would probably experience bullying just as severe as in canon. i think her mom's staged intervention would have an extra element of "you're a girl, it's even more dangerous for you to do this" which infuriates teru like nothing else. she hates that her gender makes her automatically helpless in the eyes of society. in regular teru fashion she does not realize this is systemic and instead thinks that if all violent misogynists are wiped out then the world will immediately be fixed.

as an adult i could maybe see her participating in NHN panels on feminism and trans rights the same way canon-teru attends panels where he talks about the bullying/child abuse he "witnessed" (notably he doesn't say experienced) as a kid. i would say that she might have more empathy for female victims of assault but honestly canon-teru is already really good on that front (see: telling kiyomi to kill the harasser on the subway) such that i tend to hc that every version of teru sees themself in victims of assault.

anyway that's genuinely all i can think of in terms of mikami herself so tl;dr: she basically does not change at all except for possibly being even more driven in everything she does

Yes! This is actually so sweet. Law's autism could totally explain his very particular eating habits. You inspired me to write the below headcanon based on this. I have had people in my life who are autistic but I do have it myself so I hope I could do the experience justice in the context of Law and his personality. I just love the idea of Luffy finding out and making sure Law gets whatever he needs because he's the best partner anyone could ask for <3

Law is very self-conscious when it comes to his eating habits, as he is with most of his peculiarities and it's nearly impossible for him to bring himself to ask to be accommodated when others are cooking even though he knows people will do so even when he doesn't tell them why. He accidentally blurted out that he doesn't like bread and ever since then Sanji has always made him his own special dish whenever he is serving bread dishes to the others. He appreciates Sanji's understanding but he feels like a burden for making him create something entirely different just for him.

Law's food preferences don't just end with bread though, and he can't just refuse to eat what he's being served, that would be rude. Luckily, he has a very hungry partner who is always eyeing up his plate for scraps so he can generally just give him the things he doesn't like but recently it's been getting worse to the point that Law is barely eating because his sensory issues have become overwhelming.

Law thinks he's pretty slick but Luffy knows him better than he knows himself most of the time and one day, he confronts him. Luffy asks Law if he's okay and why he hasn't been eating virtually any of his food recently. He tries to play it off by saying he just hasn't been hungry but Luffy calls out the fact that his stomach has been growling and he's clearly hungry. He demands Law to tell him what's going on and if he's sick, he'll figure out how to make him better. Law, knowing he can't get out of this without telling Luffy the truth, explains that he has a condition where specific food textures make him feel extremely uncomfortable and he can't eat them without feeling like he's going to either throw up or explode.

Much to Law's relief, Luffy immediately understands. "That's okay, everyone is different, Torao! You should have told me before so I can make sure you get all the yummy food you like! Now, tell me all the things that make you feel gross and I'll make sure you never have to eat them again. Food is the best thing in the world and you need to eat so you can be nice and strong!" he says and Law has to hold back his tears. He's been struggling with this for so long and he's always been afraid to tell people because he doesn't want them to judge him and just assume he's annoying when he can't help it.

He's not sure why he didn't just tell Luffy this before, he's not the best at expressing himself. Emotions and connecting with others are hard for him. He's already so much of a burden on Luffy as it is even though Luffy constantly reassures him that he loves him, he's never a burden, and he just wants him to be happy.

After that day, Luffy makes sure that Law's plate never has anything he doesn't like on it. If anyone dares to call Law 'picky' he yells at them and advises that Law is artistic (Law has corrected him and told him it's autistic but he doesn't seem to listen) and he can't help it and that he'll beat them up if they make fun of his Torao. Law wonders every single day what he did to deserve such a loving and understanding partner who goes out of his way to make Law's life easier in whatever way he can.

HC: Looking at all the promotional art, I believe Sonetto and Schneider would have been friends.

Regulus and Vertin's relationship have a similar same vibe as Sonetto and Schneider's. That friend who drives you nuts but you're a pretty awesome duo.

Vertin's involvement might complicate things but I can see them teaming up on her when she does something stupid or fighting side by side to protect the crew.

If I had to use the lore and context around Reverse 1999 to explain how Vertin, Sonetto, and Schneider's dynamic would work, it'd be a compromise. While others may say Vertin would be the reason they fight, I'd say she's one of the things that draws them together and makes them appreciate each other. Here is how I see it:

Schneider understands what it means to sacrifice and provide for a family. She knows the struggle of fighting against a world constantly taking from you. She and Vertin have a natural chemistry because of these experiences. Sonetto understands this and instead of being jealous (not that she isn't at times but she learns to let go), comes to realize its good for Vertin's mental health. They "get" each other. At the end of the day, Sonetto wants what's best for Vertin.

While there was turbulence in the past, Sonetto's devotion to the Timekeeper is unwavering. Vertin isn't impartial either since we know Sonetto lives rent free in her head from the trails (analysis of this here). Sonetto grew up and is willing to cast aside her faith in the Foundation if it means protecting Vertin. Schneider finds that admirable and its gives her a sense of security. Sonetto is someone she can depend on, which is a big deal considering she's used to being the "rock" in her family holding everyone up.

At first its like "I need to keep you around for Vertin's sake."

But then it turns into "I'm happy you're here."

Vertin's always making sacrifices for people. They'd rather compromise than force her into a position they know she can't handle (no matter what Vertin decides, someone will get hurt).

On that note, they do exist outside of Vertin. Schneider might enjoy telling Sonetto about her home country while Sonetto eagerly listens. Sonetto doesn't know much about the outside world, but she can share insight on the world of arcanum. Its utterly insane and Schneider is amused by this. They teach each other things and also complain to each other about Vertin's gremlin ways.

Moving on, it's possible to have complicated feelings for more than one person. The important thing is deciding on whether or not you want to pursue a future with with them.

I'm about to drop a hot take so hot it could burn you. This is an opinion that ties into my HC. Ok, here I go.

Love isn't just feelings, it's work. You need to put work into a relationship or else it'll fall apart.

There are so many people on this earth. In my eyes it's normal to going to have chemistry or complicated feelings for more than one person in your lifetime.

But you choose the people you love out of the other potential candidates because you see a future with them. It's not about what you feel today but what you're going to feel years down the line so you devote your time and energy to those people in you life. You see something worth fighting for which is why you commit to those people (could apply to all relationships honestly).

That's why I HC Sonetto and Schneider like this. They could move on. Sure it'll hurt, but its not impossible. However, they found someone they want that future with. Someone with a lot of love to give yet asks for none in return, which is really sad tbh. If Vertin's not going to love herself then damn it they will! Maybe its unconventional and sometimes difficult, but that doesn't mean it isn't worth it.

[Wings of Fire] Detailed LGBTQ Headcanons (Arc 1 & 2 Protagonists)

Hey, everyone! Entering a queer contest today by posting this. I genuinely think I have some kind of obsession about giving characters lgbtq headcanons and thinking about LGBTQ+ identities in general. It's a lot of fun for me though sometimes because it helps me think about my identity more and makes me want to learn more about the community.

I hope these are intruiging to you all because I do have fun creating these. Also, if you're gonna hate, just don't please. I do this for fun and if you hate it, your not gonna get any more joy by engaging with it.

Also note for the characters who I HC having pronouns that are different from canon, I often default to the canon pronouns for the reader's sake, but I still try to fit some of my HC'd ones in there. Just in case anyone notices that I'm only using one or two sets, I'm not trying to ignore the others.

Clay

nonbinary (he/they), gay, aromantic, demisexual

Clay is transmasc nonbinary (so like FTM but I guess it would be FTNB). The dragonets didn't get many scrolls about gender identity because the guardians never saw it as crucial (I don't want there to be transphobia in this world so it wasn't because they were transphobic). Clay didn't transition until recently before arc 1 took place, maybe within that year. I HC that female MudWings are more likely to be bigwings and that they are larger than their other siblings, so Clay is unusually large for a male MudWing which surprises a lot of dragons. He doesn't have a preference for which pronouns you use, if you just use he/him or just they/them, it's both fine to them. They also previously identified as a transgender man, but later realized that they also feel like they are not entirely a man.

Because Clay rarely experiences much attraction at all, he never realized he was gay until after they escaped the mountain. His first crush was on Jambu in the rainforest kingdom. He thought Jambu was handsome, but didn't realize it was actually any kind of attraction for a while. Clay knew Jambu was older so he never saw being with Jambu as a possibility (1. He was dating Pineapple and 2. It was just more like a crush you'd have on a friend's hot older brother (literally)).

I HC that MudWings are commonly aro-spec so they rarely have romantic relationships. This could range from demiromantic to fully aromantic, which I HC Clay. This is because their connection to their siblings is so strong that they couldn't have a stronger emotional connection with any other dragon. This is the case for Clay with the other dragonets of destiny. They could never believe that there is another dragon they could love more than his found family.

I don't HC Clay as completely aroace which I know is popular. Although I do think he still rarely feels attraction, they do feel some attraction to other dragons.

Tsunami

bigender (she/they), bi, asexual, ambiamorous

Tsunami is MTB (male to bigender). She transitioned when she was much younger, maybe around 2 or 3 years old. She is very large, just slightly smaller than Clay due to them being a bigwings. Tsunami is definitely butch. Before they identified as bigender, she also tried identifying as genderfluid and nonbinary, but she realized that she felt most comfortable with the bigender label.

Tsunami has always been fiercely independent. When she was a young dragonet and dreaming about being queen of the SeaWings, she couldn't imagine herself with a king by her side, despite the SeaWings of all tribes always typically having kings. For a while in her youth, this made Tsunami question if she were lesbian, however, after escaping the mountain and seeing her friends have relationships with other dragons, she realized it's just not for her and that she's never felt that way about other dragons before.

Glory

agender (she/they), aroace

I HC that Glory has always felt a disconnect with gender. When she was younger, she also felt disconnected with her tribe. She would read scrolls about RainWings and not see herself in them, so she believed that she was alienated in that way. Although she would later in life accept herself as a RainWing and be proud of her tribe, she still felt a disconnect to the identity the guardians and the other dragonets of destiny saw them as when she was a young dragonet. She is MTA (male to agender, idk if these versions of the acronym exist but I'm using them anyway). They transitioned at around the same age as Tsunami, but they didn't transition at the same time. They previously identified as a transgender woman before they and the other dragonets learned about identities such as agender.

For much of her dragonethood, Glory believed that she never felt attracted to other dragons. Of course, during the time she was under the mountain, there weren't a whole lot of dragons to have feelings for, but she still felt that she was unusual. She believed that she was aroace for a while. She was previously in a relationship with Deathbringer for political purposes, but after they had a daughter (an heir), they broke up. It wasn't until Glory and Liana grew closer as friends did she realize that she had a romantic connection to her. This made Glory realize that she was able to be attracted to other dragons, but she didn't experience sexual attraction and it took her developing a bond with other dragons before that bond could be romantic. Glory and Liana eventually broke up, but Glory then started identifying as lesbian.

Starflight

transgender man (he/him), gay, asexual, demiromantic

Starflight is FTM. He transitioned when he was 4 years old. Whenever he read fantasy scrolls, he always found himself envious of the male protagonists. One is Comet, from the Tales of the NightWings.

Starflight knew he was gay for a long time. He had crushes on male dragons in scrolls, including Comet and Mindhealer (they were his gay awakening). Before she transitioned, Starflight also had a small crush on Glory. This crush ended before Glory transitioned, as it was only fleeting. He later had a crush on Deathbringer, also fleeting, almost like a celebrity crush.

Starflight knew he was asexual for a while, back before he left the mountain. He also doesn't feel romantic attraction often, and even when he does, it is often weak. Fatespeaker is the only dragon he's felt a strong romantic attraction to.

Sunny

nonbinary (she/they/he/sun/sol), aroace, lesbian

Sunny didn't transition until after leaving the mountain. Because they rarely learned about gender identity, Sunny didn't learn about pronouns that weren't the standard he, she, or they set until they stayed in the Rainforest Kingdom. There, she learned from some RainWings about nounself pronouns and she discovered that using them for themself made them feel more comfortable in her identity. Different tribes have different sets of nounself pronouns that are more common, typically relating to the tribe. Sun and sol pronouns, which can be applied to SandWings, are also used by RainWings sometimes due to their connection to the sun when they are napping.

Sunny always felt like she had never experienced romantic or sexual attraction. She has always seen herself as too busy saving the world to have time to have a relationship with another dragon. It took a long time for Sunny to realize that she could be attracted to other dragons in that way, but, sexually and romantically, the feelings were scarce and not that strong. This made Sunny believe that she was aroace, but not fully, just on the lower end of experiencing either form of attraction. Although she is not with any dragon right now, she does see herself being able to be in a relationship with another dragon and identifies as lesbian.

Moonwatcher

nonbinary (she/they/he), bi, asexual, polyamorous

While Moon spent a lot of her childhood in the rainforest, she never felt the gender norms that dragons who knew up surrounded by their tribes felt. When the NightWings eventually came to the rainforest, she got to read scrolls that described gender identity and Moon understood that they didn't belong in the standard gender binary that other dragons felt. They don't really care much about pronouns and they don't have a preference for which ones other dragons use, although she usually just goes by she/her, they/them, and he/him.

Moonwatcher didn't experience attraction for a long time due to their isolation, so it took until he went to Jade Mountain Academy for him to have crushes on other dragons. They quickly understood that they are attracted to girls and boys. Although Moon considers himself to have a preference for women.

Moonwatcher also identifies as polyamorous. They have found that they have been attracted to multiple dragons at once and desired to have a relationship with both of them at the same time. Despite this, he is currently only in a relationship with one dragon.

Winter

transgender man (he/him), gay, asexual, demiromantic

Winter is FTM and transitioned when he was around 3 years old. His parents were disappointed when he came out to them, not because they were transphobic, but because they were upset that he wouldn't be able to challenge for the throne, although neither had much confidence that he'd be able to anyway. Despite this, they accepted his identity (because transphobia is stupid) and he never felt like him being transgender made his life worse. Before he realized he was trans, he felt like he wasn't meant to ever have a role as a princess or queen, which were distinctly different from being a prince.

Winter identified as gay after he transitioned. He had fleeting crushes on some IceWing boys his age when he lived in the palace, but they were fleeting and never went anywhere.

Winter does not experience attraction often. He does not experience any sexual attraction, and the romantic attraction he feels is often not very strong. In the palace, he didn't have very close relationships with many other dragons so when he went to Jade Mountain, he actually developed close relationships with other dragons and found that that made his romantic attraction stronger to them.

Peril

transgender woman (she/her/they/sun), lesbian, aro-spec

Peril is MTF and transitioned when she was around 4 years old. She always felt gender envy when she saw the strong and fast female SkyWing soldiers in training and desired to be like them. When she came out to Scarlet, she was accepted immediately (because no transphobia and honestly Scarlet respects women a lot more than men imo so if Peril tells her she is truly a woman, Scarlet is all for that). After Peril became a permanent student at JMA, Sunny taught her about nounself pronouns and Peril felt that her identity as a firescales had a lot to do with her true self, and she adopted sun/sunself pronouns due to that connection. She doesn't mind which of her pronouns dragons use for her.

Peril didn't realize that they were a lesbian until the dragonets of destiny were held prisoner in the palace. Her crush on Clay was comp-het, due to her feeling frustrated with sunself that she never felt attracted to any dragon, which was mostly due to her never having any close connection to any other dragon. Before the dragonets of destiny escaped, she did think that Glory was the most beautiful dragon she had ever seen, and she would say that she had a small crush on Glory. It was after this that she realized they were lesbian.

One of the reasons why it took so long for Peril to have a crush is because she is on the aromantic spectrum. Due to her never really developing any healthy close connections with other dragons for a long time and always assuming that other dragons hate her, she never had the mindset that another dragon could be attracted to her, so she never had feelings for other dragons. Although Peril has found other dragons attractive physically and sexually, she never experienced romantic attraction until she's known them for a good amount of time and their relationship is on good terms.

Turtle

nonbinary (they/he/any), queer, aro-spec, polyamorous

As a dragonet, Turtle spent a lot of time in the palace libraries reading scrolls. He loved learning about psychology and read scrolls about gender identity. Turtle is FTNB, so Coral was delighted when he hatched, but he came out when he was 3 years old. Although this brought back Coral's problem of not having an heir, she still accepted Turtle (and then proceeded to completely forget about him because he changed his name so she forgot that Turtle is one who transitioned). Turtle was always super lax about their identity. They didn't like to use labels often, but identify as nonbinary, as they don't believe they fall anywhere on the gender binary. Similarly, Turtle doesn't really care what pronouns other dragons use for them. He has a preference for he/him and they/them, but they are fine with dragons using any pronouns.

Similarly, Turtle doesn't like to restrict his orientation to a well defined label. He is attracted to dragons of all genders and just says that he is queer. He has liked girl, boy, nonbinary, and otherwise genderqueer dragons. He does not have a preference for gender.

Although he is attracted to all sorts of dragons, he doesn't usually experience romantic attraction unless he knows them on a deeper level. He has only ever been attracted to a dragon romantically after he has gotten to know them enough.

Turtle is also polyamorous and can see himself being in a relationship with multiple dragons. Despite this, they are only dating one dragon at the moment.

Qibli

transgender man (he/him), aroace

There are a lot of transgender dragons in the Scorpion Den and Qibli looked up to several of them as a dragon. He is FTM and realized he was transgender when he was 4 years old, after Thorn had taken him in. When he came out, the Outclaws accepted him quickly.

Qibli always thought that he was bi for most of his life since he felt like he was attracted to boys and girls equally. After going to JMA and dating Moon, he realized that the descriptions he heard about sexual and romantic attraction didn't match anything he felt in their relationship. He just saw Moon as a close friend. This caused Qibli to consider that he is aroace. He and Moon eventually broke up and Qibli did try to see if he could have a crush on Winter, seeing him as the only dragon he could be attracted to if he did experience attraction. After he realized Winter is just a really close friend to him, Qibli started openly identifying as aroace.

(another note for anyone who made it to the end, this is really hard to post because I'm lowkey thinking about swapping Glory and Tsunami's orientations because I think I like Glory x Peril more but rn I have it as Tsunami x Peril, so we'll see)

I mentioned before how it is weird that the Mickey and Friends world can be pretty inconsistent about who gets (or still has) a tail and who doesn't.

So I thought it would be fun to share my own HC on what I imagine certain characters having tails like:

Goofy

So Goofy actually used to have a tail in his early appearances and even has one in the Rudish shorts. The Rudish one is clearly inspired by the earlier design.

Tbh I kind of like this tail he has in both of these appearances as it is silly, cute, but also kinda unique, so personally I would keep this tail for him.

Max would also have a similar tail, though longer.

Pete

Also like Goofy, pete used to have a tail and has one in the Rudish shorts. They seem to be very similar though the one in the Rudish short is smaller in ratio to his body.

While this tail is fine. Personally I am the fan of Pete having a stubby cat tail like this...

Idk I just like the idea of his tail being kind of like his peg leg. Did he lose it in a fight? Or was he born like that? Who knows.

PJ's and Pistol tail would look like Pete's as shown in his older and Rudish appearance. Sort of a standard thin cat tail.

Portis

While I imagine Pete with a stubby tail, for some reason I imagine Portis with a big fluffy tail like this. I can just imagine him working on experiments only for everyone to keep wrapping themselves in his tail like a feather boa, much to his dismay.

Also it would be interesting seeing how he would maneuver around his lab with the larger tail.

Trudy

I am kind of mixed on Trudy as I like her having a fluffy tail too, though not as fluffy as Portis' (Tbh I can imagine she is kind of jealous of his tail and chastises him for not grooming it enough). But I can also see her with a more standard thin one like below.

I don't know. I think both fit for different reasons.

Sylvester Shyster

So the issue with Sylvester is that it is kind of up in the air what animal he is. But maybe he can have a tail that is just as ambiguous like a kind of a rodent-like/dog-like tail , but maybe have it colored ambiguously too. Essentially a tail that could look like both of the pictures below where it could arguably look like it belongs to multiple animals. Maybe sometimes it is more stiff like a dog, maybe sometimes it is more flexible like a rat.

The Phantom Blot

I said this in another post. But the Blot always came across as a Boxer to me. So I think he would have a Boxer tail. And honestly it fits him as it is simple but sleek.

However, I can totally imagine that the Blot is careful about showing his tail as it could share a bit too much about his thoughts or feelings. He probably usually hides it. But I like the idea that he trained himself not to show emotion with it, like how someone can train themselves to have a poker face.

Chief O'Hara/Casey

While I see Boxer for the Blot, I kind of get some kind of Bulldog or similar breed for both O'Hara and Casey. Definitely get English Bulldog from O'Hara. So while they could work with the standard sleek tail, I think the curled tail also fits them both.

Queenie Swan (Odette) + General CC HCs

she constantly hears that "the swan snark skipped a generation" growing up

while queenie did end up with a surprisingly sunny disposition, she's still a swan through and through with her stubborness and big emotions

she doesn't get out a lot as a child, the village children think she's weird and the royal families think she is a waste of time

she grows up in her adoptive mother's cottage on the outskirts of Lakeside Beauty, a village in Swan Kingdom

she looks forward to living out her destiny, the prospect of living as a swan is very appealing to her

swans understand her a lot better than people do

she finds herself at peace when she is on the water

she spends a lot of time at swan lake, swimming, dancing, chatting with the swans, doing school work, anything and everything

kind of obsessed with bugs

while she knows she will be a swan, she relates to them more because of how they are treated--as pests

her companion animal is a lightening bug, it lights the way through the dark nights her story comes with + its a living spotlight for her sponaneous dance numbers

when she transforms, no one can tell the difference between her and a real swan

once she arrives at ever after high, she becomes quite the socialite, due to her status as a royal and her amicable personality

she often escapes to the school's pond for quiet time

she's a decent student, but she doesn't put too much effort into it since she'll be spending her life as a swan anyway

she is assigned to be roommates with pearl, the future little mermaid

they end up getting along swimmingly and request each other as roommates every year

knowing how her story ends, she can't be bothered with romance (if she looked into she would decide she's aro)

her siegfried, on the other hand, is obsessed with her

she likes ballet as much as the next swan, but she also loves experimenting with other forms of dance

right before her story begins, she gets pregnant

she fights the transformation she waited so long for because how can she leave her daughter behind

a lot of how queenie is treated by the royals plays into my headcanon that the swan family isn't an important family. to be important, you have to have a bloodline destiny and political power. the swan kingdom is run by the swannish family, distant relatives to the swans, who hold the swan princess destiny. because of their relation, the future swan princess is given the title of princess, but it doesn't come with any power. due to this split + the abrasive nature the swans and swannishs's are known for, other royal families don't see the worth in getting close to them.

i feel like this is a bigger thing in the class of classics generation as we hear quite a bit about how there was a royal/commoner divide. i think it was bigger than that and all of the storybooks were isolated. the current destiny system is built on lies and to maintain its total control, it has to keep people separated and fighting each other. where i would place the class of classics in all of this would be the commoners are all interacting with each other outside of the bounds of their roles and maybe some of the lower nobility, and the royals are pushing back against it. like a lot of royals don't really know anyone until they start attending eah. i think this push also goes hand in hand with stepping back from their destinies.

like if everyone is isolated to only interact with people from their stories, their class level, and on the same side of good/bad, they aren't going to get out a lot. they have to be spending all of their time working towards destiny which enforces a lot of gender/class/race/goodness/etc stereotypes. however when people start opening up their worlds, they also start doing other things (ex getting a hobby unrelated to their destiny). teenagers who have been strictly following the rules all their lives suddenly given the freedom that is a boarding school far away from their parents are going to rebel to the extremes. i feel like the class of classics is a very adventurous, social group. they go out and do things.

i also think that they are a hot mess of a generation. their teenage years are chaotic at best and people are dying (due to destiny, but when it's your best friend it doesn't feel so honorable anymore) so a lot of them, as adults raising their own children are scared to give them the freedoms they fought for as teens (and i think this applies all over the board). they are raised more open and socialable, but things are still tense and their are still firm lines between some groups like good/bad and different species. and the freedom they longed for as teenagers a number of them are reluctant to hand to their kids. so things change, but they change slowly
