Me and @sunflowerdigs saw the hate that has been directed towards Oliver since Buck and Tommy's relationship ended. There have been a lot of accusations of biphobia/homophobia among other hurtful things. Everyone has the right to feel how they want about the show but that shouldn't be placed on Oliver.

It's clear from everything Oliver says and does in regards to the show that portraying Buck as authentically as possible matters to him. Oliver has repeatedly shown how much he cares about standing up for the lgbtq community and about being good representation for us.

This a big reason why we wanted to do a fundraiser for an lgbtq+ charity (True Colors United) in his name. We wanted in some small way for Oliver to know we see and appreciate him and the work he does. I know he'd love to see a charity like True Colors, which helps homeless lgbtq+ kids have more support. Even if you aren't able to donate just sharing the post helps.

No, because it shouldn’t be blamed Oliver here. Yeah, people dont have boundaries and a weird behaviour, but that doesn’t mean that we need to excuse that behaviour. If you apply that logic to everything else, how would it be?

OMG i still feel like I'm in a fever dream. I keep refreshing tumblr just to make sure that it HAPPENED.

We've been waiting for this for so long, i can't believe that they made Buck Bi!! Also here is the thing i want Buddie to happen and I am a hundred percent sure that it's happening (i don't know why people are thinking that it's not like???) the way i could see this going down is buck and tommy exploring their relationship and Buck beginning to question more and more things such as his relationship with Eddie. I WANT and him and Tommy to be in a relationship for a while (because they're actually pretty cute) and eddie pining. tommy will be the catalyst for Buddie.

Also: Oliver stark literally said, Buck has a crush, gets the person (exactly what happened with tommy) and that he has to work for his relationship to work and ryan saying "closer than ever??"

I also hate the fact that so people are mad and hating on the actors , that it wasn't with Eddie. Like of course a Buddie conformation would've been great, but we all knew that that wasn't gonna happen in this episode? We got FUCKING BI BUCK !!! Like did you guys see his message to the fans? Or his interview talking about how he was gonna actively play buck as bi this season as much as he can even before he got told abt the kiss. Now for actual plot I think that like the date is low-key a train wreck after the Eddie and Marisol interruption and that either we get a chenford-like double date or we just have a brief intereuption from Eddie and that’s a minor thing and like it’s buck admitting it’s his first date with a guy who hates throws a lot of questions in the air because Tommys reaction was a bit 👀 like I think it’s more or less confirmed that Tommy was repressed for a while when working with captain dickhead so maybe he’s like gonna be taking a step back cos he thinks buck needs more time to like explore this part of himself (but I hate that trope so hoping not) or maybe we get the buddie shipper daydream and Tommy is like more aware of buddie than buddie are and he either says that to buck as the reasoning but buck doesn’t tell Eddie that OR he says something cryptic about it to buck and buck doesn’t fully understand and he’s like you will eventually👀👀👀 (I need a lobotomy yes the delusions are a part of me now)

Vika enters the bar shivering, letting out a sigh of relief at the warmth surrounding her, a stark contrast to the biting cold of New York on the cusp of winter. There are few customers from what she can see— not many people would be willing to brave the frosty wind tonight, but to see her friends? It was more than worth it to Vika.

Speaking of…

A telltale squeal of delight reaches her ears, and she turns with a smile to see Juliet rushing towards her for a hug.

“So glad you could make it!”

“Glad I didn’t turn into an icicle on my way here,” Vika laughs as she pulls away, letting an exaggerated shiver run through her.

“I know, it got cold so fast this year. I— Vika!” Juliet admonishes, “Where are your gloves?”

She looks down sheepishly at her bare fingers, but before she can answer, Benny DeMarco’s walking up to pull her into a bear hug.

”Your hands are freezing!” He frowns, concern coloring his tone, “Come here, let me warm you up.”

Before Vika can protest, he’s cupping her hands in his own and lifting them to his mouth, gently breathing warm air over her frozen fingers.

Out of the corner of her eye, Vika can see Juliet barely holding back a snicker, and she can only imagine what the expression on her face must be as Benny’s warm brown gaze pins her in place.

“Better?”

“Hm?”

Vika blinks, seeing Benny looking at her expectantly.

“Oh— yes! Yes, much better,” she says hurriedly, “Thank you, Benny.”

“Anytime,” he grins.

He’s still holding her hands.

Though it’s cut off by a scolding smack on the arm from Olive, Dougie’s voice from the table across the bar breaks the spell holding Benny and Vika frozen in place, and Benny releases his hold on her.

“Come on, I saved you a seat,” Benny says, cheeks turning an adorable shade of pink as he guides her to the rest of their little group, “And maybe once you’ve said hi to everyone you can tell me what happened to your gloves? I know you had them last time…”

“It’s a long story,” Vika laughs sheepishly— one that involved her youngest, most stubborn cousin, an unsupervised game of dress up, and gloves that were now irreparably stained after nearly a week of refusing to take them off.

“I can’t wait to hear it,” is all Benny says, and rather than the usual embarrassment she might feel, Vika finds herself looking forward to telling him as she settles in her usual spot next to him, excited for a night of fun and laughter with her friends.

The fact that Benny spends the night pressed flush against her side, fingers brushing and knees knocking together— using the small table as an excuse— doesn’t hurt either.

I'm so grateful for the care the writers put into giving every main character their own weight in the story. Most ensemble shows still have a character who is a little more "main" than the others, and this show feels unique in its ability to balance everyone's importance. They all get lovingly crafted, long plotlines, and nobody ever goes very long without having something juicy.

I so enjoy the constant echoing going on. Callbacks, parallels, foreshadowing, they make the show so fun not just to watch but to pick apart.

And like many have said, every actor is consistently putting out phenomenal performances, and I could say something about each of them, but there's so many so I'm just going to talk about Oliver Stark. His boyish charm captured my heart immediately, and the depth and nuance of his acting always pulls so deep into the story. Thank you for bringing Buck to life 💞

1) What does your OC look like? Do they have style or are they rather laissez-faire?

Greyson is tall, around 6'2", with blonde hair, blue eyes, and a tanned complexion (very surfer-esque, though no one would dare say it to his face). He is the typical man-with-no-style, all tshirts and jeans and converse and tousled hair that he lets grow too long. He has a half sleeve (cooking-related, of course) and knuckle tattoos. He's in his early 30s and everyone thinks he's younger.

Elijah is 5'10", with dark, cropped hair, dark eyes, and olive complexion. In stark contrast to Greyson, he is ALL style - rolled-up button downs, vests and ties, shined shoes and dark-rimmed glasses. He is heavily tattooed (think arm sleeves, leg sleeves, tattoos up his neck) and in his mid 30s, though everyone would assume he's closer to 40 (some gray in his hair, always serious, confident enough for middle-age)

2) What do they look like when they don't feel well? Do they dress up to cover up? Do they tend to look sick when they are?

Greyson will wear the same thing every day regardless of illness, but it ALWAYS shows on his face. You can immediately tell he's sick; red-rimmed eyes, red nose, flushed and sweating. He won't try to cover it up because he doesn't think he looks as awful as he does, and nothing would stop him from doing what needs to get done anyway.

Elijah, it's much harder to tell if he's trying to hide it - illness tends not to show on his face, and he's not above using a little makeup to cover any obvious signs - but if he's fully given in to illness (and he's the type who ALWAYS does at some point)he's FULL grunge. College sweatshirt, sweatpants, beanie, he'll even pull out a scarf. When the full regalia is out, everyone knows he feels like shit.

5) What is their overall physical condition? Are they healthy or do they get sick easily?

Greyson is That Guy that everyone thinks never gets sick, because something will be going around and he'll seem to evade it every time. HOWEVER, he's also the guy that'll be patient zero when he is sick; somehow only catches 1-2 illnesses a year, but when he does they're the plague and he caught it from a doorknob.

Her signature burgundy lipstick was painted across her fake smile and her hair had been tied up as usual. Tonight it is part of her hair pulled back and into a twist. She looked as elegant as she always had and now that she was older she looked it even more.

“what happened to your dress” was all her dad could say as his three year old daughter ran over to him. His eldest rolled her dark eyes, the same eyes as him, and pulled her phone out of her Vivienne Westwood clutch.

“I wanted to wear this one, its more my style don’t you think?” she asked, pushing a piece of her brown hair off her shoulder as her mother gave her a quick kiss to her cheek.

“you were supposed to wear red, we need to look united and normal so people are less judging.” Tony stark was reaching the end of his short tether and as per usual his daughter was making him question his sanity. He found being an avenger easier than raising a daughter.

“ we look scarily alike dad I think people will know I’m your daughter, besides green is more my colour.”

“funny, there’s a very grouchy god who likes to say the same thing.” But a quick glance at his watch showed him he did not have the time to make digs at his least favourite avenger, “ok we need to go now, Happy is waiting in the car” and with that the wealthy family made their way to the party. The car ride was almost entirely silent with the two most stubborn starks not talking. Pepper had tried making small talk to smother the uncomfortable silence but her futile attempts had ceased after seeing the shared scowl across both of their faces. The event celebrating 85 years of stark industries was being held at the plaza. High ups at the company were invited along with family friends, potential investors and even the avengers team were to be in attendance tonight, now with their newest member. Graces hands began to shake with nerves, everyone would be watching her every move, trying to prod and poke at the mystery that is Grace Stark. With a deep breath she raised her head and straightened her shoulders and pushed open the doors to the golden hall. As she had already guessed, almost everyone turned to look at her but she did her best to ignore them and her rattling nerves as she descended down the luxurious carpet stairs and walked straight to the bar to settle her anxious stomach.

After three hours of endless, meaningless conversation and gin grace was ready to go home. Parties like these always dragged on, there was rarely anyone her age in attendance and the music was always stuffy. Natasha was drawling on about a mission she had just been on but Grace wasn’t listening, her attention was caught on the tall man stood in the corner, his black hair was slicked back and his green eyes focused on the crowd. He wore a slick black suit that almost looked like armour stretched across his godly shoulders. The man was Loki Odinson, her father’s worst enemy and the younger brother of Thor Odinson. He carried himself like a prince, with strong posture that radiated dignity and a calculated look that made him look dangerous, if the rest of him wasn’t already a giveaway. He was easily the tallest person in the room, taller than his muscular hunk of a brother even. It made him stand out like a sore thumb and she imagined he hated it as he looked as if he was hiding in the corner and she certainly  could not blame him

A woman on the terrace caught his attention, her soft curls blowing in the soft evening wind and her green ensemble drawing him to her. It was something different about her that kept his curious gaze on her. She looked familiar, like he had seen her before somewhere but Loki couldn’t place it.

“who is the woman talking to Natasha?” the god asked, turning to his brother who smirked irritatingly before answering.

“that is lady grace, she’s the new avenger that’s moved in the room opposite yours, how have you two not crossed paths already brother?” Thor had laughed loudly which made Loki internally cringe.

“she looks eerily familiar is all” his suave voice spoke, hiding the interest he had taken to the beautiful girl with the dark eyes.

“she’s starks daughter” his slight smirk had instantly faded the minute the name of that vile man had left Thor's lips. the norns were playing their cruel tricks on Loki again, the only woman Loki had taken even the slightest of interest to in the two years being on this planet just had to be the offspring of the man he hated most. The vain, greedy and horrid man could not have created such a stunning creature, it just wasn’t possible. She would probably be just as bad as he is, Loki thought with a grimace. Two starks, the norns were being cruel to him indeed.

Grace turned to look at the god lingering in the corner and caught her breath in her throat as she saw that he was already looking at her. She had stared at him until her face started to flush like a schoolgirl with a crush. Loki watched her for the remainder of the night, not thinking much of it until she laughed at a joke Clint Barton made and a nearby candle stick that had been left unlit burst to life with a flickering flame. Loki knew none of his fellow avengers possessed any sort of power that would be capable of doing that, he also knew of how rare that sort of power is. It had last been one and a half thousand years since someone had possessed power like it.

Dracoris was a being on Asgard who controlled and summoned fire, they rode the large, fire breathing scaled beasts known as dragons or drekki  and fought in gruesome, violent wars that people don't even dare to talk about it. Their power was almost unstoppable, being passed between people at the decision of a mysterious and unbreakable jade green stone. Odin's daughter and heir, Princess Hela had wanted this power for herself however and so she decided to take it using the only magic in Asgard that was forbidden, blood magic. When her spell had failed and her blind rage had taken over the princess had slaughtered Dracoris in her rage, killing the last dragons on Asgard too. The three unhatched eggs were stolen from their beds of fire in Asgard's north caves where dragons lived and brought back to the palace. Upon Hela’s imprisonment the eggs were placed in the Odin’s vault.  But no amount of fire made them hatch and without their queen the unborn dragons lay cold.

Dracoris never retuned not for over a hundred years and people began to worry, none more so that the great king Odin. He was on the very brink of war with the frost giants, and pure dragon fire was the very thing he needed to win the fight with laufey and his giants.

On the stormiest night Asgard had ever seen a huntched old man covered In a tattered black cape had demanded an audience with the king and queen. the man revealed a prophecy on the return of Dracoris.

it will be many years, more than a thousand but the dragon will return. The dragons will soar the skies and the realm will see peace like any other. she will not be born to Asgard but shall be brought by love and fire. Dracoris will marry the eldest child of the rightful heir to the throne and their child shall have the blood of old elementia.

Odin had been overjoyed, almost bouncing with giddy. He smiled over at his expecting wife, content in the fact that his child would bring about the return of the dragon. haggard old man said one more thing before he left: they shall call her the dragon princess then later the dragon queen. the first that has ever been.
