Removing an entire scene because it doesn't flow well is progress. Rethinking your plan for the plot in order to get unstuck is progress. hiiiiiiiii. lil updatey thing.

so. i got a boyfriend a few months back! which was nice, but for SOME REASON i had a massive creative block for the entire time i knew him, and i could barely draw or write?? which sucked, on top of being very stressfully unemployed (job hunting here is currently abysmal. most people are getting fired, not hired atm) because writing and drawing are my no.1 way of relieving stress :']

for unrelated reasons, i broke up with my boyfriend, which coincided with me regaining my creative drive, so i am getting back into the swing of drawing and writing again! (also reading because my GOD so many fics and friends updated and returned while i was being woefully depressed !!!)

ANYWAY this is an update, so heres an update of whats coming up:

the middle ground after being a suicidal adolescent is truly fucked up like. okay so I learned that there is love in the world actually and I have grown to appreciate the little moments of beauty in my life and now what. I have to like get a job and feed myself and take my medicine every day and like. function? as an adult? it's like. I care enough about my life now to stop actively harming myself in overt ways but not enough to be responsible or sensible or healthy long term. I'm just exactly depressed enough to be able to find moments of joy, but not enough to believe I deserve them forever, and certainly not enough to be motivated into securing more moments of joy in the future. what the fuck am I supposed to do now.

Btw I have no idea if it’s known about in the wider fandom, but there’s a sizable amount of riddler-centric fics on AO3 where he adopts Steph after he kills/otherwise maims her father. There isn’t a point to this I just thought you all should know about it
