forgot the exact date but sometime this week is the 10 year anniversary of when i ran away from home lol i was 22 and i had $70 in my pocket, crossed an ocean the very first time i was ever alone and slept on a friends couch for three months. my new life cost me literally everything i had ever known, my family, my old religion, everything to have the power of choice, to be able to choose what to do, to wear, to eat, friends to make, person to marry. i didnt know whether i would succeed or crash out and die. but i knew for sure i would die if i didnt try. sometimes in life you are faced with big choices and its scary. very scary and its tempting to do nothing and have everything stay safely the same but you can be brave and make the right choice for yourself, i know it’s possible because i did it

Not rly how i was raised, but i wish i had a closer relationship with my older siblings. Three of them had moved out before i was rly old enough to not be an asshole child, so most of them still see me as an asshole child and they never take me seriously. im glad i have an alright relationship with them, but that’s kinda all it is and i know i could do better

I make 21.00 an hour. without overtime that puts me at approximately 2748.48 a month after taxes.

food. 775.00 this was calculated at 25.00 a day 1 meal for breakfast 1 meal for lunch. to figure for the goose and I make it 50.00. the goose's mother has been sending 50.00 a week to help offset some of the cost.

I have not been able to use it. i have a 50 co pay to see a doctor. my prescription copy is 15 for generic and 50 for name brand.

I dont have the info. in front of me but you get the the idea. plus theres money for labs and specialists which im in need of both. by the way, I am diabetic, I have high blood pressure and high cholesterol. (my dad died at 37 years old from a massive heart attack.) I am also bipolar. these all require regular doctors visits and medication. cancer and heart disease run in my family and I have had a polyp removed from my colon 5 years ago. I know that this could potentially piss someone off, and that's okay. I understand. that's a visit to the doctors, or 4 days of food or 2 brand name prescriptions. but actually for me it is a little more important. it's a distraction, its there when things are so bad that I cant even concentrate to read a book. when I'm caught and spiraling out of control in my depression. when I just want to sleep all the time. (life is much more entertaining when you are unconscious. I have vivid life like dreams, which can be a good or bad thing ) I just turn it on and go on auto pilot. it takes me out of the situation, it helps to break the self destructive thought patterns. it engages me and allows my mind time to rest, and correct it self. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, it's the same with medication. the meds work for awhile but they numb you to the world, and then the darkness creeps back in. plus is it better to feel nothing at all?.....sorry I'm getting off of subject. it's okay if you dont agree with this, it's not your money or health and I'm not asking you for anything. I'm just giving you the facts about my situation and trying to be honest at the same time.

well there it is. that's what I got left for rent. granted once we find a place the storage bill goes away along with the food total because we can eat at home. the car should be paid off in a couple of months, and then I can knock out the medical bill balance. i do have two credit cards that I will be paying off as well that I have not mentioned. they've made it possible for me to get stuff that i need to make this as comfortable as possible. a lot of prep has gone into this. I hope it pays off.

this should be kind of scary to someone living paycheck to paycheck. imagine if I didnt have the car. i am truly grateful for what i have. i work full time. think of how it is for some people out there who are unemployable or have had a run of bad luck. no place to sleep, those people could be hungry, trying to provide for children, mentally ill. there are a number of reasons that they could be in that situation. in these days and the way things are its a deep hole to climb out of. it is also very difficult. so if you dont know anything about social services or programs to get you off the street please, either educate yourself or keep your mouth shut. they dont make it easy to get help, and if you do get it, it seems to be designed to keep hanging on by your fingernails. think about this the next time someone asks you for help or your pocket change for that matter. even if they want a 40 or a crack rock it transports them from thier shitty situation to something tolerable for a short period of time. have some fucking mercy and compassion. we are all human beings and we all want the same things to a greater or lesser degree, and I'm not talking about it in the material sense either. I saw a homeless encampment on lankershim right off the freeway in north hollywood. people had thier cars parked right out in front of thier tents. I know I'm not alone. I hope this doesn't happen to you or your family.

Does anyone understand how rental cars work? Insurance/fuel fees... Think I got taken to school on this.?

I just had to bring my car to the shop for a repair. They ended up needing to keep it. Now a rental was covered under the warranty. So at least the rental was covered. But the guy had me signing off on insurance and what not. I guess the insurance on my car would cover the rental if I had an accident. But they would take from my cars deductible. So I basically signed off on a Collision Damage Waiver and also personal accident insurance. I did decline supplemental liability insurance though. Should the warranty be covering these fees or was this an extra that I got talked into? Because if the warranty covers the rental they aren't making anything. My understanding is it could be better because I am covered under their insurance if I have an accident and it wouldn't come off my own cars deductible? Kind of new to this and probably wouldn't have been worth trying to argue it after the fact that I signed off on stuff.So if I use this car for like 3 days I'm in it for like $60 in insurance. According to the President's Council of Economic Advisers, the average annual premium for single coverage is $4,321. If the 46 million uninsured are forced to purchase private health insurance at that price, then the insurance industry stands to bring in up to $200 billion in new insurance premiums per year. The Senate bill also includes an estimated $630 billion in corporate welfare for private insurance companies in the form of subsidies over the next 10 years, creating even less incentive than currently exists for private insurance premiums to be lowered. To make matters worse, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services estimates that 19 million Americans would not buy insurance and as a result would be forced to pay $29 billion in taxes/fines. The Joint Committee on Taxation has made it clear that failure to pay these fines could result in jail time. Thirty-six states have passed or are considering measures that would allow their residents to opt out, including Virginia, Utah, Pennsylvania, Florida, Minnesota, Michigan, Georgia and Ohio. Given these fact, it is not surprising that a recent NBC News poll finds 57 percent of Americans do not want the government to create a law that requires everyone to have health insurance coverage and that only 38% of Americans favor the mandate, making it the least popular part of the bill. August 9, 2017. Happy birthday to me!

I celebrated another birthday. As I look back at how quickly time passes, I am amazed at how much changes can take place in a matter of a year. I think we go through cycles of change — when the complete unexpected throws you off your equilibrium —giving you the opportunity to reassess and recalibrate. The past year was one of those cycles for me — and slowly but surely the pieces that were thrown up in the air are falling into place. As my daughter said in her birthday message, its my second birthday without her Pa. Bit by bit the story of my life (our life) is painted in a new canvass without my hubby in the picture anymore. Sad..but thats life!

Iam 38 years old. Another year older. 38 years of roller coaster ride. 38 years of funtabulous life (insert sarcasm)… well, yeah at some point i did have a fabulous & great life. But adversities came like a wrecking ball beating the shit out of me and had me experienced all the not so pretty things. Fleeting moments of happiness and then in a snap …its gone! Perfectly fine though, because like drugs, happiness is but just a temporary high. Nothing lasts forever. One day we will all dissipate and evaporate into thin air and meet our creator. The concept of forever is just for the books- fiction, fairy tale and love sick stories of two people who meet unexpectedly and swept off their feet and asses.. yada yada yada! Hey, Im no bitter of life and love lol. Been there, done that. Ive had all the lessons i could get this life has to offer. Ive experienced a lot and maybe still a lot more to come along the way. Anyway whatever this life has to put in my plate soon ill just have to sit down, relax and wait. I’ll devour it when it is serve right under my nose.

Yeah. Im 38 and still a nobody. Widow at an early age. With 3 kids and with no fat bank account. But mind you though, there are few people who loves and cares for me regardless of circumstances.

7. Learn. Never stop. Always keep an open mind. Learn from your experiences. Learn from other people. There is a wealth of ideas waiting to be discovered. Go get first dibs!

8. Get hurt. Stumble. Fall down. Crash and burn. Do not be afraid to get wounded because that’s what makes life meaningful. You will learn lessons that will help you for the rest of your life.

9. Love. Open your heart, give it to people who derserves it and always give it without conditions. Share a part of yourself with others. Help spread happiness.

10. Pray. Have faith. Never question Him, His will, and His plans. Always believe that everything happens for a reason. He created an awesome story for you. You just need to believe in Him.

11. Forgive but don’t forget the lessons.

12. Being weak is not a disability. Know that, it is when you are weak that you are stronger.

13. The older you get, the more you realize you have no desire for drama, conflict and any kind of intensity.

14. Happiness is an inside job, it is an attitude.

27. Make a bucket list. Travel once in a while.

28. Help without expecting to be reciprocated.

29. Dont judge others because they sin differently.

30. Learn to see the good in every situation.

31. Adversities make you tough.

32. When it rains use your umbrella and appreciate the downpour. Dance. GOD is in the rain.

33. You cant please everyone so dont make it a habit. Just be yourself.

34. Never let anyone gets comfortable of disrespecting you.

35. Live a simple life. Its simplier. Yeah, no complications.

36. If people dont want you for being you just let it be. Its not you, its them.

37. Listen with sensitive attention when someone is speaking to you. Its the best feeling when you know someone wants to listen to you.

38. In this life, there’s no rewinding nor replay. Grab every chance stay happy and find time to reconnect with loved ones.

Every moment matters and every birthday is a celebration of you and your unique life force. Walk in that direction with a vision that you can really make a positive difference and know that life is meant to celebrate while you are living.

The next chapter of my story is yet to be unfolded..i hope id still be alive in the next 20 years or so… May God bless this soul that have been baked hard in the fires of adversities.

P.S. In my facebook account, i was overwhelmed with all the love and birthday greetings i have received from friends & family, and online buddies. Though there were mishaps, there has been abudant of blessings from up above! That being said, i thank my Creator for the gift of life! Family and friends, thanks for all the love and support.
