What are you hiding from love?| Yandere!Jk x Reader V Last Part
Summary: Being in a relationship with Jungkook you’ve always noticed the signs, the red flags if you will. Being so in love with him you ignored them, until the people you loved dearly started disappearing one by one.
Warnings: Murder, Jungkook victim blaming ( like he will say i killed you because you are too stupid or whatever), Possessiveness, Mentions of Smut, Controlling, Locking up YN.
Taglist: vante 🫶🏾
A/N: This is made to be scary! That is all. I honestly dont like mixing smut with yandere because i read yandere fics to be spooked not horny lol. This has been absolutely fun to write for you guys! Im so happy how much love it had gotten over the past month since ive been writing it! I love you all so so much! Enjoy!
Its been about two years since Jungkook decided to let yn go on her own! So far, yn has become the owner of the coffee shop, has opened up plenty of them across Asia and plans to open some in The Untied States.
Life has been looking absolutely beautiful for yn! But heres the thing.
Bodies have been discovered. Fresh bodies. Of course going through what she went through with Jungkook, she feared that this was his doing. That the so called hobby has now reached the news channels. Though it says that the crimes has been in only England, it was still capability of it being Jungkook.
“Yn! Are you even listening? Im telling you Namjoon wants to take you on a date!” Joy, yns now close friend that she has gained from opening the coffee shops.
“Sorry, but i dont think im ready to date. The last guy was for 5 years and it didn’t turn out well in the end.” Yn mumbled looking over at the tv that was on the crime scene of the killings.
But what was showed, made yns blood run cold.
What was at the crime scene was dandelions.
The flowers that Jungkook always used to gift her on days he felt like we did something wrong. He would cut the steam off and just leave the flowers to never be able to grow again.
Was he…back?
It was closing time and of course yn being the owner, she decided that it was her duty to close every single night.
But tonight, she couldnt shake the feeling that she was being watched.
As everyone was leaving she saw a guy with a big hoodie on taking his time to clean up his mess on the table. Putting his crumbs inside a napkin then taking the napkin and closing it tightly then throwing it out.
yn watched from behind the counter taking containers from the counter and putting them on the shelf behind her.
This mysterious guy has been coming in everyday. Same time. She never serves him but she knows Joy does and she hates serving him. ‘His glare, it can kill.’ She would say when describing the eyes of this mysterious man.
While cleaning she saw the guy get up and come up to the counter.
Face mask on and glasses… sun glasses.
Its night time.
Maybe it was a fashion statement. Thats what yn left it as. “ Hi sorry we are about to close soon so im gonna have to ask you to leave..” is what she was aiming to say but once she turned around she saw he just left a napkin with hand writing on it.
She grabbed it and began to read it:
“Hi baby! Oh its been such a long time, oh how i miss you. Our child also misses you. 2 years right? That is let you go? Ah, I remember something. Today is our anniversary! Our now 7 year anniversary. Im picking you up at 11! Be ready!
JJK,”
Yn was at this point shaking. Fear took over her body but was trying to hide it. She wasnt doing such a good job at that. As much as she wanted to call the cops, get him arrested, she knew that those cops had no chance in trying to get Jungkook.
Hed kill them all in the blink of an if he even knew that they talked to yn.
When yn got home she didnt let the fact go that when she got there she obviously saw Jungkooks car right outside her town house.
Mind you this is the 5th time this year she has moved. None of the reasons dealing with Kook but they definitely where personal reasons.
She braced herself, once she goes inside her home, Jungkook will be inside.
She could call the cops and run away from home then go to Jins house.
Actually now that Yn thought about it, what if Jin had something to do with it? He was always to calm for her liking honestly. Why was he always just so calm with him? I mean he explained it yes, hes seen it for so many years but why didnt he at least call the cops? Then again was the cops really gonna help him?
Entering the home, it felt like deja vu. Coming home on anniversary and Jungkook was cooking their favorite shared dish.
Spaghetti! Yn liked it because it was delicious and Jungkook probably like it because it reminded him of blood.
“My love! You are right on time! The Spaghetti is hot and ready to be platted. Get comfortable and come eat”
He didn’t need to turn around for yn to know that it was actually him. He colored his tattoos, became more swoll and also cut his long hair.
Yn didnt change anything or didnt get comfortable since this was all just too much for her.
‘Keep calm and go with his plan, yn.’ Thats all she kept telling herself.
Though what was his plan? Drug her? Kill her?
Well, none of those. He wanted her back. If that meant living in this house with her, then so be it. Jin had Bam so, they’d have plenty of time together.
Finally he sat down with two plates of spaghetti and there he was in all his glory.
He had the cockiest smirk while toying with his now new lip ring before sitting down across from yn.
“ Fucking finally, i have you again.”

- he doesnt know what to do when someone is touching him becuase he is a touch starved baby:(
- hair messy in the mornings too
- just like Bakugo, he would question what the fuck is cuddling
- i feel like he would find cuddling fun and precious becuase he never experienced it
- the only ’affection‘ that he would ever get was form Fuyumi, but it wasn’t really affection
- he has seen so many toxic relationships, cuddling never was spoken of
- BUT NOW HE KNOWS AND LOVES
- plus once you do it daily, he’s gonna act pretty pouty when you leave from a cuddling session
- but still has that stoic face™
- he likes spooning, he doesnt care if he is a lil spoon or a big one
- he really loves anything but..he does really like spooning
- it would be very...quiet
- it doesnt matter if you are cuddling in the middle of the day or at night
- he’s more a listener than a speaker, this might be obvious but oh well
- I just think he would love cuddles but if anyone interrupts then he’s gonna be more upset cuz liek...HE LOVES OYU AND WANNA HAVE THE BEST TIME IN THE WORLD WITH YOU-
- he’s a real simp for ya btw
denki
- movies + cuddling = Y E S
- he always has movies as a background becuase he doesnt really like silence
- he doesnt care if he sweats, he will have the blanket either way
- also a blanket hogger
- it would be good at some point becuase you wouldn’t sweat like him
- back to the movie part, he always watches the same damn thing over and over again
- to the point that he knows all the lyrics to multiple movies
- his favoircuddling position is when he’s on top of you

Bts reacts: seeing you as perfect for them/being their ideal type even though you thought you were not~ Hyung line
I don’t really believe in ideal type’s because when you fall for someone you just fall for someone right? I will do try my best though and I hope you like this part Anon! Thank you for being patient. Maknae line will be up when it will show up on your dash haha.
Thank you lief!
Feedback is always appreciated but please be kind about it ;)
It's a long ass title I know.
Seokjin:
You always thought that he liked someone that was just as goofy and confident as him and well.. You were kind of the opposite but that didn’t mean you two couldn’t be friends although lately or actually since a year or so you slowly started to fall in love with your best friend no matter how hard you tried to stop yourself from falling - Yes foolish to think that you could- it couldn’t be denied anymore.
And here you were, gulping down the cake as you attacked it with your fork like a predator looking at it’s prey. Why did you accept their invite to this sickenly cute and stupid, lovey dovey cake shop while listening to their stupid talk about ideal type’s.
‘‘What about yours, Hyung? I remember you telling me last time you liked someone who is just as confident as you are.’‘ Jimin spoke up after swallowing his last bite. And you? You couldn’t help but glare at him for a split second before stuffing yourself with cake again, wanting to cry because everyone at this table knew what Jimin just said didn’t apply to you.
Seokjin, who is sitting next to you, planted his elbows on the table, locked eyes with Jimin while tapping his fork against his lips and sighed.
‘‘Who cares if they are as confident as me. As long as they love me for me and besides I think it will be cute if I can show them they can be confident and have the confidence in them and that they don’t have to be afraid. Not with me anyways. ’‘
Your heart sped up it’s pace after his words kind of stroked your soul and when you did turn around to look at the said man, you spit out the cake when you realized he was looking and smiling at you? It’s then that you noticed aswell that it was too quiet, too quiet for these men.
Seokjin just laughed and reached for the tissues that were placed on the table as he gently grabbed your chin and started to wipe off the remaining crumbs. You just stared at him with wide eyes, the only thing you could hear was your own heart beating like you just made the bus after an one hundred meter sprint.
‘‘What are you saying?’‘ You asked him once the sensation of his comforting touch left your skin heating and your mind clearing up.
‘‘I am saying I like you, dumbass.’‘
Yoongi:
‘‘Hey..’‘ You whispered, sighing once you moved your body so you were now laying on your back just staring at the ceiling in the dark, waiting for Yoongi to say something.
It was quiet, no answer but somehow you needed to hear his voice because for some reason your heart was aching. You needed comfort but wasn’t sure if you should ask him and definitely uncertain if you should receive it from him, still you needed him, you did not want to be alone with your thoughts right now.
‘‘Yoongi.’‘
‘‘What is it?’‘ a soft, croacky voice could be heard through the silent room as you felt him moving around too, the sound of the bedsheets rustling, a click before the room lit up in warm orange.
‘‘Why are you still awake?’‘ He asked you, feeling his touch as the tip of his finger poked your cheek. This made you sit up too just like Yoongi had done and you faced him, poking his cheek in return smiling at him. Just looking at him made you feel at ease but at the same time it hurt you too.
The way he was now looking at you, his eyes holding a warm glow in them, waiting for you to tell him what was wrong and boy how bad you wanted to tell him but you knew that it wasn’t you, it was never going to be you yet you held on to that one percent chance that maybe you were wrong.
‘‘Y/n.. What is wr-’‘
‘‘What is your ideal type? Who do you like?’‘ You didn’t let him finish his sentence, spitting out that feared question, even more feared answer. You needed to hear it, you needed to know for your own sake whether you could let go and let yourself break for you could heal again.
Yoongi? Yoongi chuckled. He smiled and tugged on your ear to only flick your forehead before he grabbed your shoulders pushing your forwards and swooped in for a kiss.
‘‘My ideal type is y/n. The one who is sitting right infront of me.’‘ Yoongi confessed, his voice firm, clear, no doubt, staring into your soul as he licked his lips.
And you? You weren’t sure what you were feeling at this moment but there was one thing that you did know and that was to feel his lips on yours again, to feel his warmth and that’s what you did. Now it was you who pushed him down and let your feelings finally take over.
Hoseok:
The shouting of Hoseok and Taehyung could be heard all the way into the kitchen. What they were doing? No clue. You and Seokjin just shrugged and continued to chat and cook together.
Hoseok had called you to ask if you wanted to come for dinner. You hesitated not entirely sure whether you should go or not since lately these feelings for him were getting stronger by the day. You wouldn’t feel comfortable sitting with all of them while they were talking about all these gorgeous people they see almost everyday but you should have known that when Hoseok wants you to come, you will come. What Hoseok wants, he gets.
Now you were here, helping your friend in the kitchen while Hoseok and Taehyung were doing something that probably needed a lot of screaming.
‘‘I don’t know what they are doing but it almost sounds like someone getting murdered.’‘ Seokjin laughed, elbowing Jungkook in the side who was quitely sitting on the counter playing a game on his phone. ‘‘Hyung, please I am playing a game here.’‘ Was all that he said before he jumped off and walked over the couch to sit there.
‘‘Cranky much?’‘ Seokjin now whispered as he chopped up some onions. ‘’Guess so.’’
You had to admit that they never been that loud. Even you spotting a spider wasn’t as loud as they were now. Maybe you should check just to be sure nothing was wrong and when you were wiping your hands clean to see what was going on a door banging against the wall was heard through the appartement and a screaming Taehyung who was calling out your name came running round the corner followed by an angry Hoseok?
‘‘Y/n! Hoseok likes y-’‘
‘‘Fucking Taehyung! You shut that mouth of yours real quick before I make you shut up!’‘ Hoseok was fuming, dragging Taehyung away from you by the back of his shirt, glaring at him that made you shiver but also made you feel a certain type of way you didn’t want to admit out loud.
‘‘Oh is this about that lately Hoseok is describing y/n as his dreamlove?’‘ Namjoon casually walked in, spotting the two men struggling yet failed to notice you were standing there aswell however he certainly saw you now when the sound of something crashing down on the floor caused him to look up and met eyes with you but he didn’t seem to be shocked at all seeing you standing there and only smirked.
Hoseok just cried out, letting go of Taehyung out of misery and quickly making his way out of the room, too embarrassed to face you.
‘‘Ah. It’s okay though since y/n loves Hoseok too.’‘ Namjoon continued, adding extra salt on your wound. Okay maybe it wasn’t salt but surely it felt like that at the time.
‘‘Namjoon! I told you that in secret!’‘
That made Hoseok halt his steps and turned around so fast he almost stumbled but caught himself just in time. ‘’You love me?’’ He was stunned.
‘‘Finally someone told them. I was getting sick of all these sad and lovely gazes at eachother. Now go and be together already but dont go all mushy mushy infront of me.’‘ Yoongi added as he planted himself on the couch next to Jungkook who seemed to be unfazed with everything going on around him.
‘‘Let me help you cook y/n.’‘ Hoseok grabbed your hand with surprising confidence and laced his fingers with yours, though you knew he probably was trying to hide his shyness as he stayed close to you every second of the night and many more to come.
Namjoon:
‘‘For the last time I don’t want to go on a date!’‘ Namjoon was sick of them wanting to set him up with their friends. He didn’t like them and he told them so.
‘‘Why not? You said you missed having someone to come home to.’‘ Jimin complained not feeling that happy his idea got rejected once again. ‘‘I don’t want you to be lonely and just want to help you.’‘
Namjoon huffed and rubbed his face trying to stay awake as he was tired from another day of practice and another day of his friends trying to barge in his love life. Yes they meant well but he just wasn’t feeling up to it.
‘‘Do you perhaps, I don’t know, maybe like someone in general?’‘ Hoseok asked carefully slowly starting to understand why he rejected them all.
Namjoon shook his head and leaned against the white wall waiting for their manager to arrive and he slowly started to get a bit annoyed since he shouldn’t have to answer this question or getting asked this question if only his manager was on time for once.
‘‘I am not sure what you mean.’‘ Was all he said and grabbed his phone to distract himself.
He could hear everyone snort especially Hoseok seemed amused at the answer since he was now standing next to him and took his phone away.
‘‘We all know why you don’t want to go on a blind date.’‘ He revealed while going trough his phone. Namjoon just watched, watched how Hoseok’s finger pressed on the phonebutton, how his finger scrolled through the list and stopped at your name. His breath got stuck in his troat as he tried to get his phone back but Hoseok just shook his head and smirked.
‘‘Why does y/n has a heart emoji? ’‘
‘‘Because y/n is a dear friend of mine. One of my closest.’‘
‘‘Oh really then why don’t we have hearts next to our name? We are one of your closest friends too, right?’’
‘‘Fine! I like y/n. I may have realized that when people asked me what I seek in a person to spend the rest of my life with, it’s actually y/n that I described. I actually can’t believe you guys didn’t notice.’‘ Namjoon confessed and snatched his phone out of his friends’ hand although he was kind of relieved he finally told someone about it or in this case six others atleast that's what he thought except when his gaze fell on someone that looked too familiar, a person that made his heart beat faster, made him feel at ease normally yet right now all he could feel was panic when he locked gazes with you.
‘‘I like you too!’‘ You blurted out after a beat of silence. ‘’I just can’t believe it. This is unreal. I always thought you liked someone that was.. that was.. not me. Atleast not someone like me. Fuck is this real?’’ You rambled on even slapping yourself in your face, hard.
They all burst out in laughter while Namjoon ran over to you, lowering your hand so you could not slap yourself again and smiled his brightest smile. ‘’Yes I like you. A lot.’’

a study of souls | alex høgh andersen au
Chapter one: Hi, June.
-synopsis -chapter two
Warnings: Language, sexual content, mentions and using of drugs, mentions of a toxic relationships, grammar mistakes (english is not my first language)
Note: This is the first chapter!! It's kinda short but only for now. btw all this introduction is for you to understand the story 😁 tell me what you think hehe.
The summer in which everyone forgot my name, was over, the only ones who seemed to remember it were my brother and my grandmother, who called almost every day while I was on vacation to ask how I was. It was my grandma's idea to send me to the other side of the world, thinking that New York could heal a broken heart. I had said that no, that it didn't work like that, that she could send me to Japan, to a desert island, but the only thing I needed to stop thinking about my heart and how broken it was, was time. But she insisted, because she has been stubborn her whole life and she wasn't going to stop now; she sent me to New York, to the house of a friend that she had met in i-don't-know-where, don't-know-when. Who had presented me to his grandson because my grandma had told her in detail how the last person I had fallen in love with, had broken my heart.
I went and I came back, my heart didn't hurt like when I got on the plane, but it still hurt, and the pain scares me.
I would like to say that yes, that grandma was right, and that my heart actually healed after that trip. That I wasn't going to have to deal with insecurities again. I would like to move on with my life as if a man didn't rip a piece of my soul; but it isn't like that.
It still scares me, even if William left to never return, to never see my face again.
I'm afraid of waking up and see his face among the white sheets, laying on my pillow. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night, unable to move or speak, but I can see him sitting at the end of my bed, looking at me sideways and whispering that I must not forget him. Until after a few minutes, when I manage to move again, he disappears as if he had never been there.
Forgetting everything that happened is not as easy as throwing away a box with all the memories, it's like burning the box and that it appears every time on your doorstep .
William left and he's not going to come back. I'm sure that there's not a single drop of love for him in my body, but he left me a thousand of insecurities and he took my pride with him. He left me every bad memory, and how they torment during the night, reminding me how he played with me.
So I asked Rory, my brother, and grandma, for time. They didn't understand anything that night that I arrived home crying, they still don't understand everything fully, but they took care of me, and they were there with me every time I couldn't hold the tears anymore. I need time to assimilate things better: I had met William, a man older than me. I liked him and he lied to me saying he liked me too. When his lie went too far he got scared and left. He made sure not to see me anymore not even on the streets. He hurt me way more times that I had said out loud, in places that I still don't know how to describe.
I don't feel sad because he left, I feel sad for what he made with me after that.
But summer ended and autumn began in the city where I was born. In any moment I would get back to the university and perhaps I would make a friend.
It's already dark when I return home, the floor is wet from the rain that fell in the afternoon. The street lights up with orange lights and my nose is red from the cold. The only thing that I hear are the footsteps of my boots against the pavement and distant voices that come from inside of the houses. It's Friday and I feel it on the tip of my nose, when the air brings the smell of the dinner of the last house on the block; mine.
I know that Rory is inside with grandma, since I came back from New York he doesn't do anything else but staying at the house that I share with grandma for dinner, I also know that he feels slightly guilty for getting away from me lately. During our whole lives, ever since mom decided to leave us in charge of grandma, we had always hold on to each other, because we were the only thing we had left. And suddenly, after a long time, he didn't call like he used to anymore, he stopped visiting us like before. He is trying to get things back to the way they were.
When I step on the house, the warmth of the place embraces me, inviting me to take off my coat and my red sweater. From the living room I can hear the drawers opening and closing, the plates crashing and the voice of my grandma. I went inside to the kitchen, where Rory is sitting on a stool, his mouth is full of crumbs and a piece of bread is caught between his teeth. He looks as pale as ever, with messy black hair. Dressed in black from head to toe, he wears the same combat boots as me. Grandma looks at me and smiles in the only way she does when she sees one of her grandchildren.
The three of us sat at the dining table, talking about the day, work and trivial things.
"The lady who lives two blocks from here stayed twenty minutes talking to me this afternoon." I comment "She told me all the gossip. I don't know why she told them to me, if it is because she has no friend or something, I mean, if she has no friends, how does she know everything?"
"Maybe because she does have friends, but she thinks you don't" Rory replies, shrugging his shoulders. I look at him with narrowed eyes as he takes the fork with food to his mouth. He caught me off guard.
"That's a lie, all my friends are on vacation, they don't come back until the university starts," I explain, for the thousandth time this summer. My friends at the university are not even friends, maybe I have the number of someone because from time to time I ask for the homework, we get along, but nothing else. I wasn't going to admit it out loud.
"Anyway" interrumped grandma "Rory has already told me that he's not staying to drink tea after dinner because he has plans with friends, I guess that we are you and me again, June. You and me and maybe a movie on netflix."
The two of them are mocking me, and suddenly, it makes sense. Both are pushing me to come out tonight. It's true that I don't have any friends, and the old women that I talk to everyday while I work on the bakery aren't exactly the best company. They know that since William, I'm completely alone except for them.
"Well, I understand, I bother when I stay all day in this house. Maybe I want to stay here with grandma, watching movies until she falls asleep at ten. Unless that you, Rory, have other plans for me"
"It's the birthday of one of my friends, we are going to the pub, you come with me, you meet my friends and maybe you get along with them. I'll take you only if you don't talk about what the old lady told you today and if you drink at least two beers" He tells me and I share glances with grandma, as if I had fifteen and had to ask for permission to go out a friday night.
"I'm twenty one for something, right? To drink at least two beers with my brother. I'll go, but with two conditions" He nods with a smile, while grandma listens to the conversation with amusement."First, there must be at least one girl besides me. Second, if it's necessary, I can talk about politics"
"Don't worry June, that's the two things that i love. Girls and politics"
-
I haven't gone out at night in a long time and the only thing I do while sitting in the passenger seat in my brother's car is thinking if I had dressed well. What a silly thing, I think. I'm wearing light blue jeans and a dark black polo shirt under a yellow sweater. I realize how badly I combine the colors when I look at the yellow converse that I'm wearing
"So... are you friends.. friendly?" I ask and he laughs.
"That's a dumb question"
"And whose birthday is it?"
"Jack's" He says "You dont know him, I met him at the bar a while ago, Alex is the bar owner, along with his brother, his brother is more owner than him, but they both manage it. I'm not very close to Luke, Alex's brother, but he's nice. Jack is twenty four today."
"And what are you going to give him?" he points to the glove box, which is in front of my knees, I open it and I see a fat envelope, I take it out. "What is it?"
"A special edition of his favorite Batman movie, he's going to lose his shit, I'm sure"
I laugh and leave the bag in my lap and I stay silent, the only thing we hear in the car is the radio. It is the only station that doesn't put me in a bad mood and I only listen to it when I'm in Rory's car.
Rory parked on the street in front of the place, which had wooden chairs and tables outside and a row of lights under the roof that covered them. There were a few people outside and a lot inside. I looked at the ceiling of the place, in bright letters it said DUST.
My brother opened the door making sound a bell over our heads, almost inaudible due to the voices of all the people inside the bar. It was hot inside, putting our cheeks red immediately, the same tables that were outside were located all over the place and in the back were four U-shaped couchs with round tables in the middle. The lights of the place were all orange, making the atmosphere warmer than it already was. My brother took my hand and guided me to the back, in the other he had his friend's birthday present.
They all shouted things that I didn't understand when they saw my brother. I was behind him.
"Happy birthday, lad" he said to the guy who was at the end of the couch, a brown haired guy with a lot of tattoos on the arms, hands and some of them in his neck. He smiled at Rory and thanked him. "This is for you" my brother said and gave him his gift.
"What is it?" he asked, examining the paper bag."
"Open it, you idiot" said a redhead girl who was next to him, and for a second, everyone was silent. I felt like a statue in that moment.
Jack broke the paper and when he saw what was inside, his face lighted up and he looked at Rory with bright eyes. "No way, man"
"Nothing can top my gift now" Jack got up to hug him and thanked him again, putting him in a backpack he had on the floor. Rory turned to see me and I raised his eyebrows, indicating that he had forgotten about me for a second.
"Oh, right guys, this is June, my little sister. I brought her today because if she spends another friday night at home she is going to become an old lady. I hope that's not a problem" I looked at them, waving my hand. They smiled.
"That's not a problem" Jack announced "Any sister of Rory is sister of mine" He said and smiled at me, I smiled back. Then Rory brought two chairs to the table and we joined the round.
Everyone started talking animatedly; the round was made up of two guys and three girls. Jack, at the end of the couch, Julia the redhead who called him idiot before was next to him. On her right side was, who had introduced herself, Evangeline, a very pretty brown-eyed brunette, I had stared at her for a few seconds when she told me her name because of how beautiful she was. It seemed like she had just returned from the beach, but it was autumn and the shine of her skin was natural. I wish I could look like that without trying, she didn't seem like she was trying. Beside her, it was Travis, a skinny gray-eyed boy, as pale as paper, who was talking a lot and followed all of Jack's jokes, even though he was almost at the other end of the couch. Next to Travis, was Helena, a platinum blonde with red lips, who hadn't stopped talking with Rory since we arrived. And Rory hadn't stopped talking with her neither. I know when my brother likes someone, he behaves just like high school but I didn't say anything, and I didn't dare to make any jokes about it
Suddenly, a chair is dragged right next to me, in the middle of me and Jack, who was asking me about university with Julia. A man drops into the wooden chair and starts talking.
"I told Matthew that anything that this table orders it's on me. That's my birthday gift." He said with a strange accent to Jack, he turned to me and his blue eyes clashed with mine. Jack thanked him, and I didn't know what to say. Mainly because he had a black eye and several cuts around his face, like on the eyebrow and on his lower lip. I tried to hide my surprise, but he had already noticed. He stared at me, waiting for me to say something, but I didn't.
"Hi Alex" Rory speaks, making his eyes go towards my brother "This is June, my sister, I'm taking her out for a walk"
"Hi Ronald, we are going to take care of her here" He joked and then, looked at me again. "Hi, June, I'm Alex" He gives me a wide smile, almost amused. I instantly realized that despite his bruised face, he was handsome. But like all the boys sitted at the table, like Travis or Jack, but he was handsome anyway, and he has beautiful eyes. He doens't look like the kind of guy I see at university parties surrounded by lots of people, but he looks like the kind of guy the girls turn to see in the hallway.
"Hi Alex" I said, trying to smile at him.
"How old are you, June?" Alex asks.
"Twenty one" He nods, ready to make another question, His brown hair seems freshly cut and his skin looks slightly tanned, which makes his eyes look bluer than they surely are.
"So why aren't you drinking anything, June?" It catches my attention how he repeats my name several times, as if he were getting used to the sound in his tongue.
I shrug without saying anything. He smiles sideways at me while shaking his head, then stretches his arm behind my back to reach Rory's head, hitting him with the palm of his hand.
"Go get your sister a fucking beer" Rory growled and looked at him annoyed when Alex interrupted their conversation.
"Language." Julia scolds and Alex rolls his eyes amused.
"She can go by herself" Rory replied, I did not say anything.
"Don't be an idiot" he scolded him again and my brother got up from the chair, sighing and going towards the bar.
"I can get my own beer" I said to Alex, he looked at me raising his eyebrows.
"Yeah, you look like someone who can get their own beer, June" he says with the same smile on his face "But Matthew, the barman, doesn't know you and he won't believe you if you say you are with Jack"
"I don't look like someone who would be with Jack?" I say trying to sound offended. Of course I didn't look like someone who was friends with Jack, I looked like someone who stayed to watch a movie on Netflix with grandma on a friday night.
"You look like someone who would be with me" He says and winks at me. Automatically starts a conversation with Jack, and Julia talks about the university again. I'm sure i'm as red as a tomato.

Summary: Luke and his daughter go to Build A Bear for some fun!
Word Count: 2700+
Warnings: none
A/N: hi instead of studying, i wrote something!! this literally took forever to write and i honestly dont know how i feel about it but i hope yall enjoy! i was thinking about making a dad!sos series where i write a piece for each of the boys so let me know if that is what yall want!! feedback is much appreciate <3
Today was the day that Luke’s little girl had been waiting for. She had been begging nonstop for weeks to go to the Build-A-Bear store in the mall, but Luke just didn’t have the time or the energy to take her. Every time she would bring it up with Luke, he would find some excuse no to go, saying that he was extremely busy with work and life or tired from the long day that he had.
To say that Lil Hemmings was disappointed every time would be an understatement. Every time that the word “no” or “not today” came out of Luke’s mouth, his daughter would give him the biggest pout which broke his heart. Day after day, she would beg for daddy to take her to the mall and help her make a bear so she could play with, and everyday she would be disappointed with the answer that came out of his mouth.
But today was finally the day. Luke’s schedule had finally cleared up, and he managed to avoid any band duties for the whole day. Wanting to spend as much time with his baby girl, he planned out the daddy-daughter date that included everything that Lil Hemmings enjoyed. He had wanted to spend some alone time with his baby girl so that he could spoil the his favorite princess.
When Luke had told her about the plans, Lil Hemmings was practically bouncing up and down the walls, immediately planning out everything that she wanted to do with Luke. It had been ages since the both of them were able to spend time by themselves which made his daughter even more ecstatic about their outing. A smile was plastered on her face the entire week, knowing that she was going to spend an entire day with her favorite person in the world, doing whatever she wanted.
Waking up extra early, Lil Hemmings couldn’t wait to go and explore with her dad. Today, she was the one in charge, and she knew it. She knew that she would be able to do absolutely anything and get absolutely anything she wanted since she she had her dad wrapped around her finger. She knew that he couldn’t say no to his lil baby girl. She had the whole day planned out in her little mind, and she was determined to accomplish every single task she had planned.
Jumping out of her bed, she ran to Luke’s room, climbed up onto the bed, and started bouncing up and down, trying to wake up you and Luke.
“Daddy! Wake up!! We have to get ready!! It’s our play date today!!”
Letting out a yawn, Luke opened his eyes and saw his baby girl’s face inches away from his. Giving her nose a quick peck, Luke sat up and stretched his arms before scooping up Lil Hemmings into his arms and smothering her face in kisses.
“G’morning princess,” His voice groggy from just waking up.
“Morning, daddy! Today is our date! Let’s go! Let’s go! Let’s Go!!” Lil Hemmings was practically screaming and shaking with excitement at the end of the sentence.
Quickly trying to get her to lower her voice, Luke smiled.
“C’mon baby girl, let’s get some food in your tummy before we head out, okay?” He had Lil Hemmings still wrapped up in his arms as he got out of bed and walked to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for his little family.
“What do you want to eat, princess?” Luke asked, as he turned on the coffee machine.
“Muffins, please.” She flashed one of her radiant smiles at her father, showing him the dimple on the side of her cheek, similar to the ones on Luke’s face.
Walking to where the muffins were in the pantry, Luke took about a large chocolate chip muffin and put it on a clean plate before placing it in front of his daughter, before making his own breakfast.
As she was shoveling the muffin down her throat, she could barely contain her excitement for the day. She was practically bouncing up and down in her seat the entire breakfast.
“I’m gonna make the biggest, most softest and fluffiest bear ever daddy. And I’m gonna sleep with her every single night. She is going to be my bestest friend in the whole wide world.” Lil Hemmings was beaming as she spoke each word.
“Yeah? And what are you going to name her?”
She placed her chin on her hand, trying to come up with a perfect name for her dream bear.
“I don’t know yet, but it is gonna be super cute, daddy. I’m so excited!” As she bounced up and down, muffin crumbs started to get all over the counter top and floor.
Laughing at her obvious excitement, he gently told Lil Hemmings to finish her muffin so he could clean up their mess, get dressed, and start on the day’s adventures.
Once the daddy daughter duo were ready to leave for the mall, Luke pulled out of the driveway while blasting the playlist of songs that his baby girl was obsessed with at the moment.
“Youngblood, say you want me, say you want me, out of your life, and I'm just a dead man walking tonight.” Lil Hemmings voice echoed Luke’s as the both of them sang to one of her favorite songs ever when it came on shuffle.
“Baby girl, I think you sing that song better than I do. Maybe you should take daddy’s job and sing with the band?” Luke joked as the song ended.
“Noooo daddy,” her giggles filled the car, “I’m too little to be one stage remember? I can’t be you!” Her giggles filled the car.
“If you went on stage with me, I’m pretty sure everyone will only want you to sing princess, not me. I suck compared to you.” Luke fake pouted which elicited another round of giggles from his princess.
“Don't be silly daddy. Everyone loves you! You’re a rock star!” She blew her dad a kiss, and Luke pretended to catch it and placed it over his heart.
Just as he did so, they pulled up in front of the mall and parked the car before walking through the doors, hand in hand.
Lil Hemmings knew exactly where the Build-A-Bear was located in the mall. After all, she had been eyeing the store for months prior, so she knew the way to the store by heart. Dragging Luke across the mall, she was beaming with excitement. She could barely believe that it was finally happening after so long.
Walking into the store, Luke and Lil Hemmings were greeted by bright lights and cheery music. The walls were lined hundreds of items for the bear and other stuffed animals. The numerous choices slightly overwhelmed Luke since there were so many possibilities, but his little princess was already dragging her dad to where the animals were located so she could choose one.
Luke’s daughter took her time trying to pick which bear she had wanted. She felt almost every single stuff animal on display, determining whether they were soft enough and pretty enough for her to take home. Making her way through all of the choices available, her eyes caught flash of pink. Running over to where the bin was located, she saw the one. The perfect bear. It was a white bear that had pink and red hearts all over the body.
“This one!! I want this one! It’s so pretty daddy! Can we get it?? Pretty please?” She held the bear up towards Luke’s face and jumped up and down with unparalleled enthusiasm.
“ ‘Course princess. You can get whatever you want today; it’s your day after all.”
A squeal escaped Lil Hemmings lips, as she hugged the bear against her small frame. Running towards the the stuffing station, the employee went through all of the steps in stuffing the bear. He smiled to himself as he saw how much love and care that his daughter took when putting the little fabric heart into the small bear.
When her bear was stuffed to the perfect softness and sewn up, Lil Hemmings ran up to her dad and proudly showed him her beautiful creation.
“Look, daddy! It’s so soft.” Grabbing Luke’s hand, she placed it onto the bear’s fur, showing him just how soft it was.
“Yeah, princess. She’s super soft and cuddly.”
“I’m gonna sleep with her every night, daddy. She’s gonna be my bestest friend ever.”
“I don’t know Princess, it’s super cute and soft. I think I might ‘ave to steal it from you so I can sleep with it at night” Luke teased.
“Noooooooo, daddy. She’s mine,” Lil Hemmings squealed, holding the stuffed bear tight against her small frame, protecting the bear from her dad’s prying hands. Luke teasingly tried to grab the bear out of her hands before picking her up and attacked his daughter’s sides with his fingers
Her giggles filled the air as Luke continued his assault.
“Daddyyy,” she managed to squeal out in between her laughs, “please stop. It hurts.”
Giving her one last peck on the forehead, Luke carefully placing his princess on the ground again, and the daddy-daughter duo headed towards the little bathing area in the corner. Mid-stride, Luke felt Lil Hemmings come to a halt and eagerly tug at his arm.
“I have the awesomest idea, daddy!”
Crouching down so they were eye level, Luke waited for her to elaborate.
“You can get the same bear as me! That way you don’t have to steal mine.” Her eyes lit up with excitement with the prospect of matching with her dad. Her little blonde curls bounced up and down as she jumped up and down.
Luke couldn’t help but smile; Lil Hemmings’s energy was infectious.
“And if we get the same bear, daddy, and then we cuddle it at the same time, it will be like we are hugging the each other. It’s like we are cuddling each other at night. And- and when we miss each other, we can cuddle with our bears. Can we please do that, daddy? Please?”
Luke’s heart melted at his daughter’s words. She was so kind and caring at such a young age, and Luke would do anything to make sure she was happy. She was his little princess, and the fact that she was constantly think about him made his heart so full.
“That’s such a good idea baby! You’re too sweet. Of course we can! Anything for my princess.” He pulled her closer to his body to her a hug.
“C’mon, let’s go daddy!” Wiggling out of his grasp, Lil hemmings tugs on his hand, dragging back to where the bears were.
Going through the stuffing process again, Luke and Lil Hemmings walked around the store with identical bears in their arms.
“Okay baby, what do you want our bears to wear?”
Lil Hemmings walked around the store, searching for the perfect outfit. Luke watched as she carefully inspected each wall. She walked around the store multiple times with various outfits in hand, but Luke could tell that she was overwhelmed by the numerous options. Sensing her distress of not finding the perfect outfit, Luke decided to help.
“What if we dressed them up like both of us, princess. Your bear can look like you, and my bear can look at me. And then we can trade later, so it’ll be like we are cuddling with each other.”
Her eyes lit up at his suggestion. “Yes! Yes! Yes, daddy! That’s an awesome idea.”
Walking around the store, Luke’s eye caught a dress near the top of the wall that screamed Lil Hemmings. The sequins with the tulle in the skirt to give it the extra ‘oomf’ that she loved. Grabbing a pair of the matching sparkly shoes from the top shelf, he walked over to his his daughter.
“How ‘bout this one, princess?” Luke shows the ensemble to his daughter, which made her squeal in excitement.
“I love it, daddy! She is perfect!” Grabbing them from Luke, Lil Hemmings was quick to rip the clothes off of the paper hangers and dressed up her bear. Turning the bear around, she proudly showed off the outfit to Luke with the biggest grin on her face.
“I love it, too. But I think it’s missing one thing, princess.”
A frown appeared on the little girl’s face as she ran through her mental checklist of everything she wanted her bear to have.
Pulling his hands from behind his back, Luke showed his daughter the small plastic tiara that he manage to pick up while she was dressing up her bear.
“A tiara ‘cause you’re my princess, and every princess needs her crown.”
Beaming, Lil Hemmings placed the tiny tiara delicately onto the bears head before giving the bear a tight squeeze.
“Now it’s your turn, daddy.” Lil Hemmings looked around the store in search of any article of clothing that screamed Luke. Spotting a black leather jacket on a rack on the other side of the store, she sprinted over to the item before picking it up and racing back to her dad.
“Look, daddy! It’s Just like yours. We have to get!”
Luke chuckled at her obvious excitement and dressed his bear with the leather jacket along with the pants that came with the outfit. As he was doing so, Lil Hemmings walked around looking for other accessories that would make her dad’s bear look more like him. By the time Luke had managed to wrangle the small leather jacket over the overly fluff bear, Luke found had found his daughter at the other end of the store, both arms full of goodies for both of your bears.
“Hey princess, what’ve you got there?” Luke crouched down so he could help lighten her load.
Flashing her dad a big grin, she showed Luke all of the accessories that she had managed to collect.
“I got you a microphone and a guitar for your bear. And sparkly boots just like yours so that our bears can match. And they look just like the ones you wear onstage. And for me, I got awesome sunglasses,” she took the hot pink sunglasses and put them on her bear.
“Looks like you’ve got everything that you and I need. Is there anything else, or do you want to name them now?”
“Let’s name now, daddy!”
“Okay, baby. Let’s go.” Walking over to wear the computers were, they went through the naming process on the computer.
“What’s your bear’s name, princess?” Luke asked Lil Hemmings.
She sat on the stool next to her dad and thought of all the possibilities. Luke could she the gears turning in her head as tired to think of the perfect name for her bear.
“I don’t know, daddy.” A small pout appeared on her lips.
“What about Ms. Cuddles? Because I knew for a fact that I’m gonna be cuddling with her every day that I’m away from my beautiful princess.” As the said the words, he placed a gentle kiss on his daughter’s cheek.
Lil Hemmings eyes lit “Yes! I love it, daddy! Let’s name my bear Ms. Cuddles and your bear can be Mr. Cuddles because I’m gonna cuddle with him forever, too.”
“Of course, princess.” Typing in the information for both bears, Luke headed to the front desk to pick up the bears’ birth certificate and paid for the stuffed animals.
Picking up Lil Hemmings so that her small figure was in her arms, he carried her and their bears around the mall, being sure to stop at all of her favorite stores.
After a few hours passed by, Luke could tell that his daughter was exhausted from today’s adventures. They had spent hours roaming the mall and playing in the playground set up for little kids. By the time that they had managed to grab some lunch, she could barely keep her eyes open.
“C’mon princess, let’s get you home.” Carrying her out to the car, Lil Hemmings rested her head on her dad’s broad shoulders slowly falling asleep.
As Luke was carefully putting her down in her car seat to buckle her up, she stirred.
“Can I cuddle with Mr. Cuddles and Ms. Cuddles on the ride home, daddy?” Her soft voice begged.
Quickly opening the boxes and getting the bears out of their boxes, Luke handed them to his daughter where she automatically curled up with both of the bears, one in each arm. Making sure she was comfortable, Luke closed the back door before heading up to the driver’s seat and drove out of the parking lot.
On the drive home, Luke couldn’t help but look at his daughter in the rear view mirror. She looked so happy with both bears in her little arms. He was so thankful that the world had blessed him with such an angel. She lit up his whole world and made his life full of love and happiness. She was his little ray of sunshine, and he wouldn’t trade anything in the universe for her, his baby girl.

A Reason To Believe Chapter 6
Being an undercover officer is a perilous job and Flip Zimmerman knows this far too well. He keeps his romantic life limited to one-night stands, never letting anyone get too close. That all starts to change when he meets a vivacious Jewish woman named Elle just as he’s about to take on a seriously dangerous undercover job; infiltrating the KKK. Elle and his undercover work make him question things he’d never thought to before and challenge him to see the world, and himself, in a whole new light.
A Flip x OC Fic
Word Count: 4,339
Warnings: brief N$FW moment, brief mention of violence
When I'm with you
It doesn't matter where we are
Or what we're doing
I'm with you, that's all that matters
(x)
Flip was surprised when he ran his tongue over his lip and it brushed his mustache. He was trying to get a stray crumb but instead was met with the taste of pussy. Elle's pussy. Guess he missed a spot when washing his face that morning. He fought back a grunt as the tartness melted on his tongue, a reminder of his night. And the night before that. And the night before that.
After he'd spent that first night over in Elle's apartment, he was there almost every night for the next few weeks. The only time he elected to stay at his own place was when his undercover case had him up at weird hours. He'd go back to his lonely apartment, sad to sleep in an empty bed. He used to purposefully wake up before his date, prying himself from their bed and leaving before they even noticed.
He was a big guy and would prefer to have the bed to himself. But the way Elle's body curled up next to his just felt right. He'd wake up to the smell of her hair and the feeling of silky skin under his hand. If anything, it made it harder to leave in the morning. But he could control himself, he assured himself. They both had jobs to do, no sleeping in allowed.
He'd be fine at work most of the day, paperwork kept his mind busy. But little things brought his thoughts back to Elle. He'd catch a whiff of her perfume on his collar, or a stray piece of hair on his shirt, or her cum in his mustache.
He'd fought he urge to call her the first week and a half or so. He'd see her later in the day, there was no point of stopping what he was doing to call over to the hospital. It wasn't until his job kept him from seeing her for three days did he finally swallow his pride and call.
Jimmy had caught him at his desk. Flip thought everyone had gone to lunch, and used it as an excuse to 'call the hospital' to 'get more info on Kukowski's medical status'.
"You're smilin' an awful lot to be asking about a perp's condition," His partners eyebrows were raised as he clutched his coffee mug.
"It's confidential, if you'll excuse me for a minute," He put his hand over the phone so Elle couldn't hear, though the giggling in the background made him think she still could.
"You're talking to that cute nurse aren't you?" Jimmy's smile took up his whole face.
Flip furrowed his brow.
"Thank you for the update ma'am, have a nice day," He put on his authoritative voice, making Elle laugh harder on the other end.
"Alright officer, you too. I'll see you at the diner tonight," She responded before the line disconnected.
He hung up the phone and stood up to get more coffee from the break room.
"Get all the information you needed detective Zimmerman?" His partner called behind him, voice full of smug glee.
He was just met with a middle finger as Flip left the room.
——
"I wanna take you out," He mumbled against her breast.
Post-coitus, Flip had taken to resting his head on her chest. It gave her easy access to run her fingers through his hair, and let him use her breasts as pillows as he came down from his high.
"Like a date? We were just at the diner yesterday," She reminded him.
"No, like a real date. We can go to this nice Italian place on my side of town. They have candles on the tables and they dim the lights and stuff,"
"I mean if you want to. I don't think I've been on a real date in like a year," She mused, fingers scraping along his scalp in a soothing motion. He was practically purring under her touch.
“I’d say it’s just about time then,”
“When was the last time you went on a date? A real one, not picking up a girl at a bar,” She turned her head so she could look at him.
Her curls, which had been fanned across the pillow moments before, were gathered in to a braid and thrown over her shoulder. He was playing with the end of it, dragging the hair across her skin and watching her try not to act ticklish.
“I don’t know, maybe a couple of years ago?”
“You don’t have to answer if you don’t like the question, but why aren’t you married?”
His head rose from her chest as he propped himself up with his elbows. He looked at her, analyzing her face as he thought about how to answer.
“I am married. You’re my mistress, didn’t you know?”
“Phillip,” She rolled her eyes. “I’m serious. You’re a great guy, respectful, good in bed, you got a good job, I can’t figure out how you haven’t been snatched up,”
“I’m married to my job is the short answer. Being on the force is hard. I work long hours, I can’t always be there, and I have to keep a lot of secrets,” He bit at his lip as he thought of what he wanted to say next.
There were some things he wasn’t quite ready to share with her, mainly that he was an undercover officer and not just a regular guy on the force. If they were truly keeping things casual, he wanted to keep her away from the more dangerous aspects of his job. If they kept this going and got more serious, he pledged to himself to have an honest conversation about his position, and what it could mean for their relationship.
“I had a long time girlfriend when I joined the force. Linda. We started dating right before I was accepted at the academy. She helped me through it, staying up studying with me, going to my graduation. My mom kept asking me when I was going to propose. I thought I wanted to, maybe in the next year or so. But police work kept getting harder. I’d be working long nights, had to cancel a few dates. Linda was okay with it at first, but it kept happening. I’d try to make it up to her, but I was new to the team and a lot of the grunt work would fall on me. Eventually she broke up with me, said she couldn’t take it anymore. She never knew where I was or if I was safe or whether she was going to see me that night. I understood, tried to tell her it would get better, but I knew I couldn't make her happy anymore,”
“So I kept on with work, tried dating a few other girls after that but it was the same problem. They wanted me home for dinner every night and being a detective just doesn’t allow for that. Flings have just been easier,”
He didn’t realize he’d looked away from her while speaking, vulnerability bubbling up in his chest as he spoke. He looked back at her to see she’d been watching him the whole time. Her brow was slightly furrowed and her eyes tinged with sadness.
“I’m sorry that happened,” She started. “You deserve someone who understands,”
“You have pretty well,” He offered.
“My job is just similar is all. Long shifts, late nights. It’s a pain in the ass to work around, you just gotta find the right person. I thought I had, back in Indiana. I was seeing this guy, Abe. He worked at the university nearby and never complained about my job. He was the first guy who didn’t immediately try to get me to quit and become a housewife. He seemed to get that my job was important to me, that I really love what I do,”
“But?” Flip asked. Elle sighed and shrugged her shoulders.
“But once I got the opportunity to come work here in Colorado things started to change. Abe even talked about moving with me at one point, him getting a job at a state college down here. But the closer the moving date got, the more keen to stay in Indiana he was. It was just talk to him, a fantasy. He never really intended on moving, and never thought i’d actually want to go. When he realized what I really wanted, he begged me to stay with him. He gave me his grandmother’s wedding ring and asked me to marry him,”
“He didn’t really know you all that well then, huh?”
“No, I guess not,” Elle let out a dry laugh. “If I wanted to marry him, I would have by then. I think he thought it was romantic, a sweeping declaration of love. It really just cemented my decision to leave. I gave him the ring back and told him I was sorry. I took a Greyhound to here a week later,”
“I guess we’re both married to out jobs then,” Flip set his head back down on her chest.
“I do have to wear white everyday,” She noted, stifling a laugh. He chuckled at her joke along with her.
“We don’t have to worry about labels or anything right now. We’re just two busy adults having a good time with one another. No weddings or family heirlooms involved,” He assured her, his hand reaching up to play with the pendant sitting near the hollow of her throat.
“You’re the only guy I’m seeing right now,” He could feel the vibrations from her voice as she spoke. “I’m okay with this being more casual, but I thought you should know,”
“You’re the only girl I’m seeing right now,” He left out the part where even if there were others, he’d drop them in an instant to be with her. He knew he should take it slow, for both their sake, but he couldn't help but feel this was a little more emotionally invested than just having a good time together.
“Wow, we’re really bad at this,” She teased. “So, as two casual-but-currently-monogamous professionals, when is the best time for us to go on a date?,”
“Maybe Saturday night after you get off work? I can pick you up,” He knew he'd be meeting ‘the organization’ at Felix's house earlier that day. It would be his first meeting with the whole bunch, but he didn't expect it to last into the night.
“Only if we go dutch with the check,” She pointed at him.
"Of course," his palm rubbed against her bare breast catching her nipple. “Now do you think we can fit one more round in before midnight?”
She gasped under his touch, giving him a sly smirk before pulling him into round three for the night.
-------
If Flip knew he was going to spend his Saturday being forced to take a lie detector test at gunpoint, listen to his partner throw a rock through the window of a klansman's house, and then have to chase after said klansman to make sure his partner wasn't shot, he would have chosen a different night for his date with Elle.
But here he was, heart rate still trying to even itself as he drove home hours later. He would've been fine if Ron didn't throw a rock through the window of Felix's house. He would’ve talked his way out somehow. What was he even thinking? A black man instigating an attack while the house was crawling with armed white supremacists? He'd spoken to him about it at the station after he left Felix's, it didn't go great.
Ron was more focused on trying to make Flip impassioned about the cause. Trying to get him to feel the same way as he did, even though that wasn't him. He didn't let personal stuff get in the way of his work, he couldn't if he wanted to do a good job.
“Doesn’t that hatred you’ve been hearing the Klan say doesn’t that piss you off?” Ron had asked him in the dimly lit records room before they headed out for the weekend.
“Of course it does,” He’d responded. It was an easy question to answer, but it felt much more complicated under the surface.
“Then why you acting like you ain’t got skin in the game, brother?”
The Rookie’s words were frustrating. He didn’t understand what it was like for Flip growing up. His family pushing away their religion and their culture to fit in, until they were left with nothing but a name and some disregarded family heirlooms hidden away in the closet. Him never feeling like he really fit in with his Christian classmates, but also unable to relate to any Jewish people he met. He was always stuck in some middle ground, somewhere between what his parents wanted him to be and what they tried to keep from him.
Of course he had skin in the game, when the Klan talked about hating Jews, they were talking about his family. They were talking about Eliana. They were talking about him. Ron wasn’t considering how maybe it was so easy for him to slip into the roll of ‘White Anglo-Saxon Protestant, cherry pie, hot dog, white boy’ because it was all he ever knew. It’s not like he’s parading around with these racists and heading on home to Shabbat after, he knew nothing about the culture the Klan hated him for being apart of.
“Rookie, that’s my fucking business,” He gritted out, making direct eye contact with Ron. He didn’t want to talk about this anymore, especially not with his partner.
“It’s our business,” Ron responded.
Fuck that. He left him standing there in the back of the room as he lit a cigarette. It’d help calm him down.
Flip took a deep breath in an attempt to clear out all feelings from his work. He decided to focus on the night ahead. A date with Elle. A real date with Elle. He'd picked out his clothes earlier that day, his nerves getting the better of him. The black slacks and white polyester shirt were lying on his bed with a pair of dress shoes on the floor.
He slipped out of his work clothes and took a quick shower before re-dressing, his large hands buttoning the shirt with a practiced ease. He took a look in the mirror, smoothing down his damp hair into his usual center part before adjusting his cuffs.
All he could think when he looked at his reflection was of Felix pointing the gun to his head. It wasn't the first time it had happened. He'll, he'd been to war before he was on the force. And he'd been an undercover officer for the last three years, he'd had his fair share of close calls. But this was different. That gun wasn't to his head because of something completely out of his control; his heritage. Something he didn't even see as a big part of him.
What would have happened if they somehow found out who he really was? Would he have been shot over something so trivial? Was it trivial if someone wanted to kill him over it? He wasn't even a practicing Jew. But would that have mattered?
He laced up the dress shoes and shrugged on his sherpa jacket before leaving his quiet apartment to pick up his date. He tried hard to push his work out of his mind, turning up the radio to let a Chicago song take up the overworked parts of his brain.
Time passes much too quickly
When we're together laughing
I wish I could sing it to you, oh no
I wish I could sing it to you
He pulled up to Elle's right as she was walking out the front door. She beamed as she saw his car pull up. He put it in park and was about to climb out to open the door for her when she yelled over for him to stay inside.
Perplexed, he sat in the drivers seat as she got in the car and settled in the passengers side.
"You don't need to get out of the car just to get back in, I can open a dumb door by myself," She explained, giving him a peck on the cheek after.
"If you insist," He caught her face before she turned away, pulling her into a longer kiss on the lips.
She hummed with content as his lips pressed against hers, an emotion he felt himself. The world disappeared for a second, his problems evaporating when he could smell her perfume permeating the air around them.
They broke apart and it took him a moment to drift back to reality. With one hand on the wheel and one hand resting with hers in the median, he drove off toward their destination.
Giuseppe's Italian Restaurant was a tiny whole-in-the-wall joint, with decor that hadn't been updated since they opened in 1940. But they had some of the best reviews in the city.
Flip let Elle get out of the car on her own, taking a good look at her outfit for the night. Her hair was down, her dark curls contrasting against her fair skin. Her necklace rested against her clavicle as always. She was wearing a floral dress, made of a flowing material. The neckline was tight and plunged, showing a fair amount of skin, but the skirt came to mid-calf and was gathered. It wasn't something he'd ever picture her wearing but she looked fantastic.
"A dress?" He placed his hand on her lower back as they walked toward the entrance. "Weren't you just protesting by wearing pants to work?"
"I'm not at work, am I? I can clean up nice from time to time," She wore a sly smile as they were escorted to their table.
Wine was ordered with dinner, the plates of food so big that they had to move the candle to the side of the small table. Everything was going great, the two of them talking in hushed tones and laughing in not-so hushed ones. They picked off each other's plates, earning the occasional side-eye from some of the more refined diners. Elle would raise an eyebrow at them and they'd turn their attention back to their own table.
He was about to take another bite of pasta when he saw a man walk by the window who looked awfully familiar. Blonde hair, slight build, gaunt face, Felix-like. Flips blood suddenly ran cold. His eyes trained on the front window as the man walked by, trying to get a better look at him.
The man walked by, not bothering to look inside the restaurant. After a few seconds of studying his face, Flip determined it wasn't Felix. He breathed a sigh of relief, trying to yet again push the image of a gun to his head out of his mind.
"Flip?" He heard his voice called.
He turned his head back to the table to see Elle staring at him, brow furrowed. She'd rested her hand on top of his, something he hadn't even felt her do.
"You drifted for a moment there, are you feeling okay?" She asked.
“Yeah, just thought I saw someone from work, sorry about that,"
"Do you want to leave? We can eat the rest of this later if you'd like,"
"No, no, let's finish our date. I'm fine, really," He squeezed her hand, hoping to reassure her.
She gave him a look before continuing to eat. They filled the next couple of minutes with small talk, his mind still half at work as he thought about what happened at Felix's.
"Tell me more about your family," He found himself saying.
"Uh, what do you want to know?" She asked, looking at him with uncertainty.
"Why did they come to America? You said it was before the way right? Why America?"
"It's the land of opportunity. Coming from 1930s Germany, where they weren't even considered to be citizens, America was a paradise,"
"How were they not citizens?"
"Jews weren't citizens under the Nuremberg laws. Even if they'd lived in the country for generations, like my family. Before the war even started, dozens of restrictions were put on Jews to prevent them from contributing. We had to identify our businesses, we had to be in a registry, we couldn't marry outside our race-"
Flip's brain clicked. Jews were considered a race, not always just a religion. He knew this, but something in the way Elle spoke of it brought back memories of events he hadn’t really considered before. The way "Jew" was said by kids in grade school on the playground. The way it was said in a hushed tone by his mother's Bridge Club when she's host them at their house after carefully hiding all family relics. The way it was spat like venom by members of the Klan, said like it was the lowest thing a person could be.
"What were the Nuremberg laws?" He asked.
"What are they teaching out here?" She half-muttered, looking concerned. "They were laws to systematically enforce discrimination against Jews. The holocaust didn't happen overnight, the government worked for years to get Germany to see us as inferior. These laws prevented us from working and socializing outside our communities. Many fled, like my mother and father. They left in 1937, and had to give up most of their wealth in order to be allowed to emigrate. The rest of the family stayed behind, and were eventually taken to the camps,"
She grimaced as she spoke, rubbing her pendant between her fingers.
"My mother's brother was the only survivor we know of our family. He came to the US to live with us after he was liberated. I'd never met him before the war but mama says he wasn't the same when he came to live with us. He rarely talked about his time in the camps, and held a lot of survivors guilt. He watched everyone around him die, I can't imagine what he had to do to survive,"
She had looked down while talking, and looked back up at Flip when she finished, seeming startled.
"Sorry, this is really heavy conversation for a date,"
"No, I was the one who asked. I guess there are a lot of things they don't teach about the holocaust in school,"
"It's a shonda, how can people be expected to learn from it if they don't even know about it?" She slapped her hand on the table, drawing another look from a nearby table.
"They teach enough for it to never happen again," He said
"I hope you're right," She sounded unconvinced. "But either way, my family came here with next to nothing. At least they got here, a lot of people who tried to come to America as refugees were turned away at the border. They had to go back to Europe, where many died during the war. My parents were fortunate to have friends here to help get them on their feet,"
"I don't really know where my family came from. My grandparents on my fathers side came from Russia, but my mother never talked about her family. She said they'd passed away when I was a baby. We didn't really talk much in my family if you can't tell," He tried to make light of the situation.
"Maybe you could find some records at your parent's house. Or you could talk to your grandparents, if they're still alive,"
"They're not, but my parents inherited a bunch of their stuff, so I could ask," He said, thinking to himself about how that might go. They should be more open to talking about family stuff. He was an adult for fucks sake.
He considered how different his life was from Elle's. An assimilated military family in middle America versus an immigrant family from the biggest melting pot city in the world. Vastly different lives that somehow became connected. He caresses her hand with his thumb as he took it all in. The two of them sitting in this tiny restaurant in the candle light, talking about their lives openly.
"I like you, Eliana, a lot," He confessed, unable to find the words to fully express his feelings.
"I like you too, Phillip,” She stopped the movement of his thumb so she could hold his hand. "And this date is nice, but I can think of some place I'd rather be,"
"Oh?"
She leaned across the table, lowering her voice for his ears only.
"In my bed, with you on top of me, fucking me into the mattress until dawn,"
He was grateful his hair covered his ears because they for sure just turned red. He felt his cock stir in his pants, his hips shifting to try to adjust.
"Were in public, you know that right?" He smirked, lacing his fingers with hers.
"I can't help it if I want you in me 24/7," She pouted, letting her big brown eyes work him over.
"Is that so?" He leaned forward, letting his lips press against her ear as he spoke.
"If you want my fat cock in you, you're gonna have to listen closely Trouble. We're going to get out of here, get in my car and drive home. You're gonna be a good girl, I can't be getting pulled over by a coworker because you can't keep your hands to yourself,"
Her breath hitched as he continued.
"When we get back to your place, I suggest you take that dress off before I tear it off you. And then you'll get what you want, do you understand me?"
"Ten-four, detective," She whispered.
A few seconds later he felt her bare foot ghost over his lap. She must have taken off her heel while he was talking, and was now rubbing him through the fabric. The little minx. He raised an eyebrow at her, holding her foot steady with his hand. He was suddenly thankful the tablecloths were long.
"You said I couldn't touch you in the car, were not quite there yet, are we?" Her eyes glinted and her mouth twisted into a devilish smile.
"Check please!" He choked out.

NOTES
There aren’t a ton of notes for this chapter, its more of just dissecting Flip’s feelings and struggle with understanding his identity. Where Elle grew up very sure in her cultural/religious identity, Flip didn’t really “grow up Jewish” as he mentioned in the movie. I think he’d definitely struggle with his identity, especially when confronted with so much hate regarding it.
Here’s a basic idea of what Elle’s dress might look like (center dress)
I mentioned the Nuremberg Laws in chapter 4, but if you want to hear about the atrocities of the holocaust listen to the Mengele episodes from Last Podcast On The Left. It’s a three-part series and a little hard to stomach at times. I have a pretty strong stomach when it comes to true crime but this one got me a few times where I had to take a break (definite TW).
A shonda is yiddish for a disgrace/scandal. Its great vocab for overdramatic people such as I.
Thanks for reading!

I recently put some rules together and I was asked to share. They're kind of simple to follow when you still live your parents and if you are in school.
basic rules
1. weigh yourself everyday.
2. avoid being near food and going into the kitchen, if it's not necessary.
3. if you know there's a period of time, when you will have to eat, make a meal plan in advance and look at all the healthy options.
4. dont eat between 6pm and 8am. (exceptions for me are social events and dates)
5. try to keep track of how many calories you eat everyday as accurate as possible.
6. never eat alone. (alternative is eat&spit to stop cravings.)
7. drink a glass of water before and after every meal.
8. create a work out plan for small work outs everyday.
9. after a binge burn off the calories instead of purging.
10. drink at least 1.5l of water everyday.
personal rules
1. if some falls down while eating, even if it's still on the plate or if it's just a few crumbs; you don't eat it.
2. don't eat leftovers from the day before. trash them instead.
3. don't eat anything that was wrapped in aluminium foil at any point in time.
4. in a school break you can either eat or have a smoke, never both.
5. don't go into the living room, when you are home alone.
6. when your stomach is growling, wait at least another hour before you eat something.
7. don't eat on parties. when there's liquor get drunk off the hard stuff and avoid bloating drinks like beer or champagne.
maybe some of those are helpful for you. good luck and stay safe!

do you think they’ll come back to the whole “how’d you do it” convo with bellamy and clarke and he’ll find out about how she radioed him everyday? or do you think that was that cus it felt like a good place for her to tell him but she was also like yeet when an emotional aspect to the conversation came up
Well this is the question isn’t it?? I think everyone in the Bellarke fandom is probably asking themselves this right now.
So, I’ve been team “I don’t think they’re going to address the 2199 calls” since the beginning of the season. That’s for a couple of reasons: 1) I’m trying to lower my own expectations lol but mostly 2) Clarke does NOT say Bellamy’s name in 5x01, Eden. She says his name in the call at the end of 4x13, but the writers do not have Clarke SAY BELLAMY’s NAME in 5x01. Now, it’s extremely clear from context that he’s who she’s talking to (”I’m proud of you” + “this would be so much easier if I knew you were alive” + calling her other friends by name).
So it’s not that I don’t think we’re meant to think Clarke was talking to Bellamy the whole time; it’s that after an 11 month hiatus, if “Clarke radioing Bellamy” was about to become a Big Romantic Catalyst for bellarke, I would expect the writers to really flag it in 5x01 by having Clarke say his name, thus kind of putting a pin in that for the general audience. So, going in to 505, I was very pessimistic about the chances of Clarke’s The Notebook calls to Bellamy ever being relevant again.
BUT THEN
When I was watching this scene, when Bellamy asked, “how did you do it?” I literally froze because - are they really going to go there??? are they really going to have her TELL him that she spoke to him every day?? that the memory of him, his love, his partnership, was what got her through?? Because honestly, between the pause and Eliza’s acting, and the awkward way the scene ended - with the conversation LITERALLY UNFINISHED - that’s how it FEELS. It feels like she was about to tell him that he helped keep her alive, but then she chickened out at the last minute.
Like, idk what the stage directions were, but Eliza’s acting here makes Clarke’s hesitation in response to this question very clear. And if the answer is only and always just “Madi,” what awkwardness is there to be had??? In any sort of just world, this “omission” on Clarke’s part is a set up for her to reveal, down the road, probably when her and Bellamy are embroiled in some sort of angsty conflict, that it was in fact HIM that helped her survive 6 years without a peer on the ground.
Now, I’m also not going to pretend that this show always does what is just lol. They drop threads all the time, and as Bellarke has been building for seasons now, there are several scenes that were seemingly set-ups for later reveals that were pretty much forgotten (2x09 “Love is weakness”/”I was being weak” and 4x06 “Clarke, if we don’t see each other again-” come to mind). However, there are a couple of reasons that I feel like s5 might be the season where these kinds of ~romantic bellarke~ threads actually come home to roost.
One of the reasons I think that is something that a lot of fandom, included myself, has picked up on, which is the relatively muted nature of Bellamy’s reaction to finding out Clarke is alive. Like, the cast and writers have told us until they’re blue in the face that Bellamy is less “heart” than he used to be, less fiery, but there’s a difference between finding balance and like, not having a visible/visceral/conflicted emotional reaction to finding out that, contrary to what you believed, you weren’t responsible for killing your best friend/partner/woman you’re lowkey in love with by proxy.
Like Bellamy is clearly happy to have Clarke back, but he hasn’t verbalized really ANYTHING about how it feels to have this huge bomb dropped on him after he lived his life for six years in honor of her. After he mourned her and missed her and memorialized her and moved on from her. This omission of a nuanced reaction on Bellamy’s part makes me think either 1) the writers really fucked up and don’t care bout Bellamy/bellarke or 2) They’re saving big relationship-defining angst feelings about the Separation and Reunion for midseason Bellarke angst. Needless to say I’m hoping it’s door #2.
What does that have to do with the truncated fireside chat scene? Well, in my deepest darkest Bellarke wet dream fantasies, they have some blow up fights or angsty as shit moments later this season where all of these omissions and half truths and old wounds get put on the table, subsequently setting fire to the tentative automatic partnership bellarke have fallen back into. Something else that makes me hope we’re in for some knock-down, drag-out emotionally raw air-clearing angst is, of course, the last shot of 505.
So I don’t know if the show is really going to go full love triangle, and honestly I don’t much care, because THIS SHOT is intentional. Arguably, the shot of Clarke’s reaction to becho kissing is the first objectively nonplatonic framing of bellarke in the show. This shot tells me the show is ready to acknowledge in some way that Bellamy and Clarke’s feelings for each other go beyond platonic partnership. And to me, THAT means the door is open for all their baggage to come home to roost later this season. Because we as a fandom know that if the writers ever had Clarke and Bellamy really fully put all their feelings on the table, there would be no backpedaling into platonic territory. But if they’re willing to frame shots like the one above, I think they might finally be ready to stop just dropping hints and actually follow their own trail of bread crumbs to some MAJOR developments on the bellarke front.
Which brings me back around (finally) to your questions: will Clarke ever tell Bellamy that she called him every day for six years? The short answer is i don’t know!! If we do indeed get some relationship-changing moments between Bellarke, I would say it is highly possible, even likely, because this fact would be such an emotional bombshell for them - for Clarke, because she would essentially be admitting out loud that she loves Bellamy, and for Bellamy because he wouldn’t be able to escape the implications of Clarke staying so intimately connected to him for 6 years while he thought she was DEAD.
And THAT’S why I think Clarke hesitated. Because Clarke had six years to come to terms with the fact that she loves Bellamy, a fact that she was able to work out for herself by “confiding” in him every day. But when Bellamy comes back down, she realizes that she was in love with the Bellamy that LEFT, the Bellamy that has remained static, a ghost at the other end of her radio for six years. But this Bellamy is solid and real and DIFFERENT and, as she finds out at the end of 505, this new Bellamy is someone else’s. This Bellamy has moved on from her in a way that she never did from him.
So while I’m betting Clarke at the end of 505 was glad she hadn’t spilled the beans about Bellamy being her personal diary for 6 years earlier in the ep, I think it is a Definite Possibility that this fact comes back up at the MOST inconvenient (read: most CONVENIENT, for me) time so that Bellarke can really lean into that fucking angst like I know they want to. *Clarke voice* I still have hope. Here’s to the possibility of emotionally fraught Fights and Reconciliations and Realizations, anon.
