Twine Demo Ch. 1 Public Release

Hello everyone! It's finally here 🎉

Chapter one has gone from 53k words to 96k, very few of which are repeating. This is definitely a chapter to replay over and over again, as there is a lot of width to it 👀 Hopefully all of the major coding errors have been fixed, so you shouldn't have problems with playing (crossed fingers). The UI should be fine for comfortable reading on mobile as well!

There are now three different ways to meet Vethna + for the Jamie encounter to end, and the fight scene with the twins has been completely rehauled. Hopefully you enjoy the changes made!

Note: There are two "unfinished" scenes in the demo that are marked with 'X's beside the choice. My hope was to finish them before the public release but I simply did not have time. They'll likely be finished when Chapter 2 is released! This goes for the POV switch with the Ivante twins at the end of the chapter as well 🧎and a super fun extra scene too 🤫

ALSO: The Codex/Journal/Memory system is not implemented yet. It's in-the-works, but I intend to keep it off-limits until the re-write is done due to how many variables + moving parts there are to it.

so apparently pocket camp is shutting down and they're replacing it with an offline version you just pay for once and then have forever and man maybe this is wishful thinking but if in the new one you can access all the limited time & paid items with just bells or something then I'll probably get back into pocket camp. I wouldn't pay full game price for it probably, but I'd pay up to like $45. I'd pay 3DS game prices.

I would guess the dates and times (in JST) for next group of news we get is:

Wednesday May 15th 7pm - Quartet Night 'Song Letter' MV clip Wednesday May 15th 8pm - Quartet Night Retweet Campaign starts

Friday May 17th 7pm - Quartet Night Group Introduction

Wednesday May 22nd 7pm - Heavens 'Glorious Angels' MV clip Wednesday May 22nd 8pm - Heavens Retweet Campaign starts

Friday May 24th 7pm - Heavens Group Introduction

That leaves May 25-June 11 (or May 29-June 12 if you count the 3rd RT campaign) clear for more announcements before the game releases on the 12th. I'd guess no announcement on the 25th so soon after the Heavens introduction, so at the very least probably something on May 29th and June 5th. We still need a proper look at the Piece Gacha system and probably some full teaser trailer videos and ads for the game like Shining Live had.

Likely also smaller announcements of rewards if certain milestones are hit for amount of pre-registered users etc, but so far nothing like that has been announced.

hola. i'm not dead. at least, not physically.

a lot of things have been happening in my life (mostly... not good) but i think things are settling down for now. hopefully. i'm not gonna promise some big dramatic comeback to writeblr but i certainly wanna dip my toes back in soon. i miss this place.

anyways, i'm strapped for cash, so expect an art commission info post dropping soon lol. i know it's the holiday season and everyone is broke but i guess it's worth a try.

A Date With Narry WINNERS

The "Date with Narry" event is now over!

Thank you so so so so much to everyone who participated! I didn't expect that there would be more than a handful of submissions, so seeing all of them as the event ends is amazing to me. I can't thank you all enough for participating if you did, whether by asks, or by liking the posts if they came across your dash.

And thank you to everyone new who found @mrthenarrator's blog thanks to this event!

breaking character as the mod of The Narrator's Blog for a bit: I'm so glad everyone was willing to interact with him as a character! I'm not an expert on RP, and this is the first-ever "event/competition" ive hosted, so this event taught me a lot both in hosting, as well as challenged me in terms of roleplay! Plus, thank you for letting me indulge my inner Narry by having him respond to your submissions. Getting to RP as him for the event was incredibly fun and rewarding, and seeing everyones submissions come in through the week was amazing and I loved getting to see all of them appear in the inbox (as well as seeing some of your reactions to his reactions! I do look thru the notes and rbs and i love seeing all your comments to narry's shenanigans) I hope that, even if you didn't win a drawing today, just know that all your submissions and contributions to the event hold a place in my heart, thank you all so so much for participating and I will be perpetually thanking you into the far future for letting me do a little silly event sdkjfgjhg. I hope I can set up more in the future, and hopefully, they won't be centred around getting narry a date /lh

For the winners, feel free to send me a DM on this blog of pictures/picrews/whatever you have on hand of your Characters/Sonas for reference, as well as an idea of what might happen on the date you and the Narrator might be! (We can also fit some other characters/sonas into the drawing if you want. it doesn't have to be just one)

Your idea can be as vague or as detailed as you want, and you don't have it all laid out at first if you can't think of anything. We can always bounce ideas around and find one that you like the most for me to draw.

And if you don't want a drawing, that's fine too! Just let me know in DMs so I can know! There's something wrong with the television

You'd been vegging out for a while now watching old horror movies. Some channel had them running nonstop in the running to October and you hadn't minded the excuse to watch some classics.

You must have passed out at some point.

You woke up to the sound of vicious static and an odd, wavering noise hidden in the digital white noise.

The room was dark, way past your bed time.

But your eyes are fixed to the screen.

Watching as the static began to ripple. Your heart thundering in your chest as something began to emerge from the screen.

Dark blue curls and teal hair dripping out of the frame. Blue eyes locked on yours with a smirk on a pale face over dripping red glasses in the shape of hearts. Black ruffled dress poking through the static as she braced herself on the edge of reality.

The mysterious stranger held out tickets.

The world doubled and wavered, much like the static on the tv.

"I've got extra tickets to a party, you in?"

You wanted to ask when, but your mouth was dry, heart still pounding.

She answered anyway with an amused smile.

"Why, September twenty-second to the thirtieth, of course."

She held out the tickets.

This is a few days overdue but–

We've finally reached the 300 follower milestone!! 🥳🎉

I'm thinking of doing a week-long celebratory event, and since this is technically a writing blog (even though it's been a while since I wrote something), it'll be a writing event!

But the few events that I did make in the past turned out to be a flop so I'm not sure if I should do another one 🥲

So I decided to make a poll for it
