Being too close will just undo everything he tried to cover.

If instead, you decide to plant a kiss on his cheek, Azul couldn't be happier. He'd be caught off guard by the sudden gesture unable to form a coherent sentence, although showing no sign of disagreement.

Behind the door, Jade and Floyd knew that they had succeeded in their wingman service

Azul would be quite shy at first, but as time went on, he'd become much more confident. This was all very new to him after all.

The Dragon King relationship headcannons

A.N: Because come on, I know I'm not the only one who's got a crush on this dragon. Also this is my first time writing headcannons, so apologies if these are bad and kinda chaotic and if the dragon king in this is ooc. Also I tried to make the reader gender neutral.

No warnings I guess, just fluff mostly (although beware that these will be quite long, I have lots of thoughts about this guy)

First of all, as could be seen in the movie, this guy loves nicknames. Mostly he uses the classic ones, like baby, honey, darling, etc. Only sometimes when he's in the mood he will call you something creative or sickeningly sweet that will either embarrass you or make you flustered.

PDA depends on his mood and the people that surround him at the moment. If it's just Benbo and Babo and/or his subjects then he has literally no shame. In fact, he loves showing you off to his people and usually isn't afraid to show everyone just how much he cherishes you. But with the Immortals or other important people, however, Dragon King avoids PDA. Don't worry, it's not that you embarrass him or something, it's just that the Immortals for example already don't treat him seriously and it would be even worse if he showed them just how much of a softie he really is towards you. He wants to appear tough and intimidating. So in front of them, the most he'll do is take your hand and kiss it or something like that.

Honestly I see Dragon King as a person who usually avoids physical contact with people he isn't close to. But with you, his S/O, things are of course totally different.

Also in private he's quite clingy.

When it comes to touch, he's down for everything. Hugs, kisses, cuddling, he'll do it all.

He's great for hugging and cuddling because his body is literally filled with water, so he's really soft and squishy.

Also for some reason he will get really flustered if you boop his nose.

If you ask nicely, he will let you braid his hair/beard (idk how to call it)

Loves it when you do his makeup and is thrilled when you let him do yours.

Judging by the whole situation with the Stick, I think it's safe to say Dragon King is quite possessive. However he doesn't want you to think he doesn't trust you (he does, it's the other people Dragon King doesn't trust), so he only acts on his jealousy if necessary (though he's always cautious when you talk to another guy and watching the situation from the corner of his eye). Thankfully that doesn't happen often, I mean who would have the audacity to flirt with the King's S/O? Honestly they would probably got eaten by him or killed in another way if they tried anything like that.

If it's someone he can't punish, he will just come over to you and start engaging in the conversation, making sure to call you nicknames that prove you are his, he will also put his hand on your arm or around your waist.

As we've seen in the movie, this guy is a bit insecure and sensitive about his skin condition. So if you assure him that you don't care about that and that he's gorgeous to you no matter what, Dragon King will literally melt. If he didn't have such a big ego then might've even start wondering what did he do to deserve you. But he won't show any of that of course. Dragon King will just smile and bat his eyelashes. "Oh honey, you flatter me!"

Personally I don't think he would limit to just one or two main love languages, but I see Dragon King as someone who would love to shower you with gifts. Either some pieces of jewelry or something bigger, more random or personal, doesn't even matter. He's a King, so of course he can afford to give his S/O so many trinkets and other items.

Another thing he probably does a lot is acts of service. Of course most of the time The Dragon King isn't actually the one who does these things for you, his kingly duties and his skin condition on land won't let him, so usually he will send Benbo and Babbo to do it. But you know, it's the thought that counts. Although there's a selfish tone to it; Dragon King makes his minions do errands for you so you could have more time for him and give him your full attention. He is very full of himself after all...

But if you really must go on land to do something, he will give you the vial with the drops each and every time, so you could talk to him if you wanted and/or really needed.

Now onto the negative aspects of relationship.

I wouldn't say he's toxic, but he is quite egoistical and selfish at times. For example, he becomes really annoying and gets pouty if you are busy with something and don't have time for him.

Also, as much as he treasures you, I feel like he would still feel and sometimes act like he's better than and above you, especially if you're not royalty.

Dragon King can be a real diva sometimes, so you have to have A LOT of patience when dealing with him in a relationship.

But overall in my opinion relationship with Dragon King could be difficult to make it work, but also worth it in the end; he gives me vibes of someone who would love you to the moon and back if you proved yourself to be the right person.

There’s the love language you want to receive, and the love language you give, and they aren’t always the same.

Kelly is a complex man to unpuzzle haha. But from the eleven seasons we’ve gotten to know him, I would say Kelly needs words of affirmation and acts of service to feel loved. This is the love he needs, but not necessarily the love he gives.

Kelly takes to heart everything Stella says and thinks about him, for better or worse. But I have to say I think the main reason Stella has left such a deep impression on Kelly’s heart is that she’s always been there for him, even when they weren’t romantically involved—even as friends, she’s always been there. He doesn’t ever voice it, but he longs for emotional support, and she gives it to him.

Of course, I could just be making all this up and the writers don’t even think about love languages haha

Why being perfect is a load of rubbish

Perfect. The most destructive word in the English language. Everyone wants to achieve it, to have it, to BE it and when that doesn’t happen, disappointment, shame and despair start to take over. Eroding at our self-esteem little by little until we become something we don’t even recognise. I loathe perfection with every fibre of my being. Not hate, LOATHE.

Its mere definition pisses me off, “being completely free of fault or defect, having no mistake or flaw.” I had fallen prey to the disease of wanting to be perfect when I was younger. I wanted to be the perfect daughter, the perfect sister, the perfect friend, the perfect girlfriend, the perfect student. I wanted to have the perfect body, the perfect hair, the perfect personality. I thought if I was perfect in everything, I would be happy and everyone would love me. But it’s a very cruel trick.

We have been made to believe that we can never be truly happy unless everything in our life is perfect; the perfect job, perfect house, perfect spouse, perfect car, perfect clothes, perfect faces. It took me several years and several failed attempts at perfection to realise how ridiculous this was. The idea that something or someone with flaws and faults was unworthy. I have only two words for this: FUCK THAT. {If there are any children reading this, kindly quote this article when your mum asks you where you learnt to swear. Thanks. ;)}

Having faults and flaws means being different, unique. A breath of fresh air in a stifling room where there is no change or imagination. Why be perfect and be stuck in stagnation? Always remaining the same, never moving forward or trying to do or be something else. Never trying to be better than we were before, not for others but for ourselves, to see what else we’re capable of and be good at, just for the sake of it. Never trying new things and new experiences. Being perfect means being frozen and I can’t think of anything worse. This is the reason for my loathing.

Trying to be perfect forces us to take on too much, to be impatient, angry, hostile and competitive. News flash people, human beings were never meant to be perfect! If we were, we wouldn’t be able to make mistakes and if we weren’t able to make mistakes, we wouldn’t be able to change and if we can’t change, we are not living.

Do you even want a “perfect” body or face? Honestly, I don’t think that putting in the effort for abs is worth it for me. I would rather play Assassin’s Creed and binge-watch Supernatural.

A perfect face? Every blemish, freckle and spot on your face is a mark that sets you apart from everyone else, something that is so uniquely you and you want to trade it for a face that is plain? For those with acne struggles, that is completely understandable and you are excused. Women used to draw spots on their faces in the 18th century because it was considered the height of beauty. Marilyn Monroe and Cindy Crawford inspired the same.

Family life: Do you care about one another? Make each other laugh, give support whenever needed? Then you checked off the main points. If not, that’s what you should be trying to fix.

Relationship: Relationships can’t be perfect if they are to last longer than 6 months and if you think yours is, then you are lying to yourself and to your partner. Let’s be honest with each other, darling. If Pique can cheat on FREAKING SHAKIRA, there is no such thing as perfect.

Social life: You might be serious about being a great friend/ person in general, but no one is immune from social ups and downs including loneliness, social burnout, FOMO, friendship drama, etc. The mistakes we make are what help guide us to being those great friends and people.

Character: There may be some times when you have displayed tremendous courage, kindness, absolutely non-selfish service and that’s great. Well done you, continue doing so. On the other hand, there will be times when you will stumble; act selfishly, say or do the wrong thing but that doesn’t make you a terrible human being. Life isn’t all sunshine, rainbows and skittles.

Now, if you’re counting, that’s every part of a person’s life and it doesn’t have to be perfect for it to be happy. The only things in my life that I want to be perfect are my bed and internet connection, screw everything else.

Okay in my normal vein I'm obligated by law to recommend a good game!

So I had some spare change on my steam account because my previous purchases (Devil May Cry 5 and Resident Evil 6) were... Less than satisfying. I know RE6 is good story wise because I've watched let's play of it but playing the game myself caused some serious conniptions. Devil May Cry was on the other hand, an example of horrible port or game that was not made for PC in the first play. Whatever it was, it was just horrendous experience all around. But since you can only play for less than 2 hours in order to return the game, I might have missed the game being the best in the world in the meantime or something.

This by the way is something I've learnt the hard way because I'm 98% sure that at the time, mother language version of the service rules you agree to, have been horribly untranslated. In English it clearly says that game needs to be played for less than 2 hours AND returned within two weeks of purchase. When I read it (not in English) it said one or the other. And I was very perplexed and vexed because I couldn't give back the game I barely played but bought two years ago or some shit like that. Anyway!

"Pentiment" is gorgeous game stylised for 15 and 16th century illuminations. There is a lot of gothic and humanistic calligraphy to oggle at if that's something you fancy. I know to a lot of folk it is hard to believe but antique and mediaeval latin are different and therefore a lot of it is hardly understandable to me (though, a lot of is because it's just 'reprints', like for instance; Aeneid). But that's only if you go through the trouble of reading that flashing latin (which I do because I'm a weirdo). There is a lot of the "choices matter", most of the game is carefully picking conversation options - since game is constantly auto saved, you cannot pick and revert your choice; this ain't Life is Strange. If you fuck up, you have to live with that wrong choice you've picked by accident and WHOOPS 13 hours of gameplay for naught because YOUR FAT FUCKING FINGER SLIPED. It's okay. I'm over it... - and investigating. But what could you be investigating? MURDER! And this time it ain't butler's fault. And no Agatha Christie to be found.

Beside being just gorgeous to look at, it runs really well too. It's tad too loud for me personally but I'm not really game music nerd. It is okay though! Characters that I got to meet are really sweet and lovely too. Most of them anyway. Towns folk especially. The amount of dilfs I would like to... Well... Fuck - is staggering. Game is also somehow aware of gay people existing in the 16th century monasteries and out. I would *DIE* for Jorg. He is big where it matters. (It's his heart pervs)

To my delight game has 3 acts and it took me 13 hours to get through 1st. Now I had the freedom to play almost nonstop but I'm also a MASSIVE snoop and I was getting into everybodies' business with my crew and talking dog. I meant meddling kids! So there is a chance that somebody who cares less about petting every dog and cat and smelling every flower and talking with everybody 6 times just to be sure, will be able to go through the game quicker.

Oh, yes. You can pet 16th century illuminations of a cat or dog. Ya know how everybody lost their shit that Hogwarts Legacy: Transphobia Crowd Funded had the petting cats options? Yeah, eat your heart out JKTERFling. One of the dog is called Mirabilis which is: according to my poor memory and even worse grasp on Latin - either an adjective meaning "wonderful" or noun meaning "wonder". I would die for them too.

There is also some "choose your own adventure" motifs, with picking unfinished (hits too close to home mister Game) major, second field, your origins and later even main occupation (and I - for once in my entire life - was pleasantly surprised to see my nation and country existing prominently. Though that was when it excelled historically, so yeah). And I think it gives it a lot of charm.

I will try to finish the game (and perhaps cram the second playthrough because I have new BETTER ideas to FUCK UP MY GAME) before the weekends end. Game is currently on a discount on Steam and will be till 4th of May to anybody interested!

He’s responsible and will not let you run away from the problem, even if he understands why you might want to. Thankfully, discussing serious issues with Trey isn’t terrible; it could be much worse! He allows you plenty of time to speak your mind and reflect on the situation, and he can relay his side of things without dismissing your feelings and perspectives. Still, he will get frustrated if you repeatedly and indefinitely avoid conflict, whether it’s with him or someone else.

Trey would be relatively well-equipped to deal with any issues surrounding your sensitivity; after all, he’s had to deal with Riddle for much of his life. Still, don’t get the idea in your head that he’s just “putting up” with you - he really does care about you and he doesn’t mind that you react more emotionally to things! Trey tends to be in his head a lot, so it’s nice being around people who are more expressive and let themselves feel things. He reads people well, so he’ll be able to quickly pick up on things that upset you, even when you try to withdraw from others. And, ever the caring friend and partner, he is more than willing to help you out, whether you need space or comfort. He might fall into the habit of just placating you instead of getting to the root of the problem, but he’s willing to take the initiative on finding a more permanent solution if there’s a particularly persistent issue.

Trey definitely has acts of service as one of his main love languages. He loves baking and enjoys sharing with the people close to him. He absolutely will make you all of your favorites and try out recipes that might suit your fancy. And, yes, even if you might not enjoy how passionate he gets about it, he will make sure that you know that he deeply cares about your oral hygiene and overall health, lol. Trey has a lot on his plate as a vice-housewarden, but that makes it all the more meaningful when he goes out of his way to make your life a little bit easier. Yuuji has an exceptional memory. He could remember someone even if they had plastic surgery to alter their entire appearance. But it did surprise you on how much attention he gave every little detail on you. It could be small, unnoticeable and you won’t even expect a reaction out of anybody. Yet Yuuji notices and beams when he spots these little changes, complimenting you at how well they suit you.

You cut your hair by 2cm? He notices. You changed your conditioner? He notices. You changed your social security number? He noti- wait, how did he know that? The point is that Yuuji didn’t care what meaningless features of you there were, he’d memorize them all and imprint them into his memory. Not only physical appearance, he’d also memorize your specific tastes. What you like or not like, what you prefer over others, he has them in a little notebook to keep his memory refreshed when he meets you.

“Y/n hey! Oh- did you change your hair colour?” He asked, tilting his head while plopping down on his seat. You did, in fact, change your hair color but it was barely different from your old one. Even someone with the sharpest eyes should have squinted a little to see that change, yet your boyfriend noticed it right away. Yuuji notices your little body languages too. He hands you his jacket when he notices you are cold, gives you his drink when you are thirsty, literally anything is yours if you need it. Yuuji loves being the only person that sees these details and he hopes to be that special someone for you forever.

Megumi Fushiguro || Walks on the side closer to the road

Megumi strikes me as an “acts of service” kind of man. He subconsciously does these gestures that would seem normal or the bare minimum, but not all men have the kind of thoughtfulness he does. He vowed to keep you away from harm, no matter where you were or where he was. Megumi swore to never let anyone else he loved become in a state like Tsumiki’s or worse. Even in the most casual of dates, he takes measures to ensure your safety while with him.

When you both walk on sidewalks either in the rushing city where cars are traveling a mile a minute or just a calm road decorated with blossoms, he’d always, I repeat, always, take the side closest to the main road. It was something he did to you since before you dated. It wasn’t something you’d consider special because he does it to literally anybody, whether it was his friend or a random stranger. But with you, you couldn’t help but feel the slightest bit of more meaning into this simple action. Especially with how when you unknowingly walk on the side closer to the road, he pulls you aside to switch places immediately.

Megumi’s hands would snake around your waist as he swiftly moved to your previous spot. If you look closely, this man was hiding his semi-prominent blush as he stares off into the distance. You’d giggle a few times when you spot this, smiling at how cute your boyfriend was performing acts of affection. One time a motorcycle sped past you both during a rainy day and Megumi shielded you from the puddle of water they ran over which caused a big splash. He was drenched but neither of you cared from how close you were. You pressed a light kiss to his nose as a thank you.

Nobara Kugisaki || Whispers to your ear in crowded spaces

Nobara is a loud person. There wasn’t a day where she wasn’t screaming at someone or something. It could be at other people for whatever reason like looking at her wrongly, or even the microwave because it didn’t heat up her food right. You were used to how brash she can be, but you didn’t mind one bit. The way she openly expresses her emotions is one of the many reasons why you fell for her. But even Nobara knew that sometimes yelling was futile. Like in crowded spaces where she can’t convey her message in yelling, she would lean to your ear and whisper.

The first time she did this was when you both were in some black Friday sale and stuck in a crowd of people aching to get their hands on a particular dress that Nobara happened to have her eye on. She was determined to get the dress that she endured numerous elbows to the face and a few kicks to her shin. But you clearly weren’t enjoying all this, judging by the bruises littering your body. Nobara took notice of your struggling figure, desperate for some fresh air. Maybe the dress could wait. She leaned to you and grazed her lips by the shell of your ear “Shall we go somewhere else?”

Oh my goodness your legs were becoming jelly. You could only hope Nobara didn’t notice how your entire being looked like you were dipped in red paint. Nobara barely whispers at all, the closest she’d done was her normal voice, but there are rare moments that she’d whisper sweet nothings into your ear when she thought you were asleep, knowing how much you love it when she’s gentle for once. You loved your girlfriend more than anything, and she loved that you felt nurtured and safe in her arms.

Gojo Satoru || Anonymous gift giving

The man, the myth, the legend. We all know Gojo is rich. As in— rich rich. When Gojo doesn’t know what to do with his cash and misses you (which happens a lot), expect a mystery present at your front door. During his highschool years, he’d constantly send you small candies, cards and occasional expensive gifts for when he received more allowance from the school. For years you’d ponder who they were from. Gojo may be extremely open most of the time but he knows how to hide his tracks when needed.

He would have stayed anonymous if you didn’t purposely lure him out by pretending to conclude that another man was the person behind all the gifts. Poor random guy you picked on the street and pretended to know so Gojo would confess <//3 pay for his therapy because your (now) boyfriend almost went purple on him. Even now that you knew all the gifts were from him, they never stopped. In fact, as the years went by, the gifts became more and more..weird?

“Satoru, why did you send me this poster of a cat twerking on the toilet?” “….Who’s Satoru?” Is how your confrontations would go. You eventually gave up on trying to make him admit and just enjoy the gifts. Gojo relished in that genuine and thankful smile that tugs on your lips whether on a random day or when he knew you were having a hard time. You’re thankful for your lover, really, but you can’t imagine the amount of money wasted on these random gifts for you. When you expressed your concerns, Gojo simply smiled and comforted you as he always did.

Maki Zenin || Makes eye contact during conversations

Eye contact is attractive and Maki Zenin will never understand why. Maybe it was the way that she was barely spared a glance when she was a child, no matter what amazing thing she did. Maki pays close attention to whatever you had to say, even if it was a random late night thought about a rainbow unicorn, she looked at you so attentively it gave you shivers. Her hard and sharp gaze fixated on you, but they don’t hold any malicious intent, just pure curiosity. She is the listener that anyone dreamed of having.

“Something wrong, Maki?” You tilted your head when you saw Maki staring at you. “Hm? Nothing, keep speaking, love” She said while resting her chin on the palm of her hand. Okay marriage now ma’am. Not only does Maki listen to you, similar to Yuuji, she’d be remembering any important or useful detail you manage to slip out. There came a day where you received a box of your favorite treats that you’ve been meaning to get but never had the chance to from how busy you were. Turns out Maki gave them to you. Her reason was that she was “passing by” but we all know she went on that 4 hour drive to the shop.

You were someone who rambled often so you’d often overthink that Maki would one day feel annoyed at having to pretend to listen to you. You tried to keep conversations simple and quick, sparing any heavy details even though you wanted to tell her oh so badly. Maki wasn’t having any of this. She cupped your face in her hands, ignoring how her cheeks were heating up as well. She didn’t like how you felt like you had to hide your emotions. Maki reassured you that you’d never have to do that with her.

Yuuta Okkotsu || Hand on the small of your back

Yuuta can be fairly awkward. It was just his personality. In fact he didn’t initiate much pda when you both first started dating. You didn’t mind being someone who took the lead. In fact, it became somewhat of a second nature to you. Despite being the more confident one in the relationship, Yuuta would still make your heart flutter in those little moments he’d have this sudden chivalrous air to him. When his hand comes into contact with your lower back..oh have mercy.

You were walking through a crowd with Yuuta. There had been some commotion after you both exorcised a curse that had been tormenting the inhabitants of the area. Everyone was still on edge and it made sense but it was difficult to control the situation when everyone was all over one another. Yuuta must have sensed your distress and calmly placed his calloused palm on the small of your back and led you to a calmer side of the ruckus. “Yuuta? What’s up? I was handling everything just fine” You tried to complain but Yuuta kept walking and you couldn’t bring yourself to repel his touch either.

“Sorry, I was just..I wanted to be alone for a minute” He scratched the back of his neck. You smiled at this. This was your first instance of knowing this is how Yuuta discreetly tells you that he wants to be alone. His hand would slide to your back, either awkwardly or protectively. Now let me just put the idea of a jealous Yuuta doing this, his hand slowly leading you away from whoever was flirting with you and him cornering you in an alleyway where his fair fell on his face as he whispered “Don’t speak with them” with his lips inches from yours. Aha I have a favorite can you tell?

“I don’t mean to steal you away. I’m simply retrieving who’s mine for a while, is that so wrong?”

Danse Headcanons

Because he is a good boy who needs love too okay

- Always needs to be organized, writes everything down.

- To do lists. They’re everywhere, and he always has a notebook on his person.

- Quite likes crosswords. Always needs something to do with his hands, and they help if he starts getting antsy. PTSD is a bitch.

- Smokes. Prefers cigars. Also likes black coffee.

- Is actually gruesomely funny, but you wouldn’t know unless you really get to know him. He’s got a really dry sense of humor so it automatically makes his sarcasm even funnier.

- In spite of the fact that he can be bitterly sarcastic himself, he doesn’t always understand sarcasm immediately. He’s very literal.

- Very much a dad friend. Not to be confused with the mom friend. Don’t expect to be coddled by him. He’s great for practical advice, but don’t expect him to go soft if you go to him about a problem. If he thinks that you’re at fault for your own problem, he’ll make sure that you know it.

- “I’m not angry, I’m just disappointed”

- Overall, he’s just brutally honest, almost to a fault. He’s a terrible liar!

- Still, he’s a very good listener and will keep his trap shut. Once you tell himself something, it’s in the vault, so to speak.

- On that note, puns are not typically appreciated.

- He’s good to his friends overall, and is highly reliable, but like a knight of Catarina, he will never forgive a betrayal. The guy can hold a serious grudge.

- As a lover, he’s very shy at first. His other half will have to make most of the moves initially. Once he’s comfortable, he’s actually quite affectionate.

- Turns out the fucker has some serious libido too.

- Gifts and acts of service are his main love languages, though in private, physical touch quickly rises to prominence. A lot of gentle touch, nudging, shoulder pats for reassurance, that kind of thing in public.

- He’s a virgin. Absolutely. He’s shy about banging at first because he’s embarrassed that he’s inexperienced, in spite of the fact that he’s getting into his thirties. It doesn’t take him long to get confident in the bedroom.

- Cuddly sleeper. Also sleeps hot.

- Really likes Johnny Cash and Marty Robbins, but he’s got room for Mel Tillis too.

- He has a habit of slipping right into lecture mode, even after his exile. He gets better about it as time goes on, but it’s really annoying for all parties involved until he does. He’s just so used to dealing with stupid soldiers and having to lecture them as a superior that it’s become second nature.

- He’s very literate and an avid reader. He prides himself on his extensive vocabulary, even if the casuals find it annoying.

- Always eager to learn a skill in case he might need it later. Doesn’t hurt to be a jack of all trades in the wastelands after all. In the immortal words of my father, “Always take the chance to learn something, if you get it. Once that knowledge is yours, no one can take it away from you.”

- An excellent mechanic, and not just for PAs and related things. While he’s not good at coding, he is good at robotics repair and the like and can disassemble and reassemble a laser rifle blindfolded.

- Has fixed up Codsworth a number of times.

- Very literate with guns and ammunition, both with technical as well as historical information. He has a soft spot for old guns.

- Getting kicked out of the brotherhood took a huge toll on him. Aside from his identity crisis, Danse prided himself on the sophistication of the Brotherhood and the fact that he could be a part of it. On top of that, he has no living relatives, so that faction was his only family from the time he joined up. He had a lot of emotions invested in the group overall, even though he refuses to admit the fact that he does indeed have feelings.

- He has trust issues for a while after the whole ordeal. You can’t blame him. One moment, these people would die for him based on principle alone, and the next, they’re trying to kill him.

- He constantly denies the negative emotions that he feels. For a while, he just avoids things that make him think of the brotherhood so he doesn’t have to process what happened to him. He has a sense of abandonment after being thrown to the side by Maxson, but it immediately translates to anger because he just doesn’t know how to deal with it.

- When he finally finds someone who legitimately cares about how he feels and how he’s doing, he doesn’t know what to do, and it sort of gets worse before it gets better.

- He’s very embarrassed of his PTSD because he has a lot of masculine pride, so again, he doesn’t want to face it or his emotions.

- He’s just grouchy and mildly paranoid after his exile until Sole drags him back to the real world and helps him recover. Afterwards, he’s almost like a different person.

- He does still retain some things from the Brotherhood. For example, he always keeps a stiff posture, and when he’s fixated on something, he walks in step, not unlike a soldier. During a fight, specifically shootouts, he’ll use the military codes and signals he was taught.

- He is still very wary of synths (understandable) and very much hates mutants (also understandable), but is okay with Nick, after they come to an understanding between each other.

- He also still has trouble sleeping by himself. He’d never admit it, but he cant stand sleeping alone, since he’s used to sleeping in a military base with a bunch of eyes to watch for trouble. When he eventually does get with Sole to the point they share a bed or room, it’s easier for him to sleep.

- Danse LOVES affection, but he’d never admit it verbally. Sole knows lol but it’s a secret he’ll take to his grave. Cuddling and forehead kisses are his weakness.

- Approval from his lover is like a drug to him. Really, just a “good job” can make his day.

- He’s also weird about asking for sex or affection. He’ll usually get all bashful and quiet, but will sort of hover around Sole. Like, stand behind them or next to them and nudge them, maybe give them a knowing look. Or he’ll just get very clingy in bed or something.

- He blushes very easily.

- Snores. Denies it.

- He LOVES dogs, but is really more of a cat person. He adored Emmett, back on the Prydwen.

- Because he is a workaholic, he opens up a lil store in Sanctuary. Sort of goes back to what he did in Rivet City, but with a more focused goal in that he specifically scavenges for gun parts and the like. Just a warning that he keeps a sawed off shotgun under the counter. Try to rob him and he’ll blow your head off. This man takes the Second Amendment very seriously.

autistic langa likes frozen fruit a lot—strawberries are his favorite—because he likes the cool texture

reki has lip freckles that really stand out after he’s been in the sun a lot ! there’s like four or five of them :)

reki having a stuffed animal collection and letting miya name some and then realizing that miya never had a stuffed animal growing up so reki gives miya one of his older ones that he loved as a child and then buys them a new one too… and miya asks reki to name it for them because sentiments,,,

after seeing the girl he had a crush on kiss someone else, shadow takes out his feelings on the only thing he knows how to—skating at s but he’s not in a good mind and he feels sick because he thought he thought he thought he had a chance and he doesn’t pay close enough attention and gets hurt and miya calls him an idiot and patches him up and shadow feels like a kid again but it’s kind of nice to have someone else actually help with his wounds instead of just attempting to wash them and then cover them with makeup by himself,,,

joe and shadow bonding over hating the feeling of loneliness so they make up for it the only way they know how which is being loud and being extra because they don’t feel as lonely if they’re loud

cherry and reki drawing together… and reki teaching cherry how to be more loose and carefree when he draws and cherry teaching reki how to add more structure to his art,,,

shadow being a scrapbooker and having like ten scrapbooks from his life,,,

shadow not being as good of an artist as cherry or reki but he does it because he enjoys it and when cherry and reki find out they invite him to draw with them

the crew / sk8 fam all going to shadow’s house and doing a couple scrapbook pages together and it’s a mess but it’s them and it’s one of shadow’s favorite pages because he’s never scrapbooked with anyone before

langa is just naturally beautiful and photogenic so the art squad always asks him to model for them if they want to draw people

joe has depression because i want him to

yeah so joe has depression, shadow has anxiety, cherry has add and anxiety, miya had adhd and separation anxiety, langa is autistic, reki has tourette’s and adhd and depression ✌🏻

thinking about after reki’s second beef with adam,,, joe after he tells adam off and they’re away from the crowd, he passes out because let’s be real—there is absolutely no way he didn’t get injured and the worse one is probably a broken nose and a huge gash at the back of his head with like skin peeling and stuff like need stitches so the gang all goes to cherry’s and they help patch reki up

somewhere in that time the love hotel gets brought up and by extension getting hit by the car and getting beat up and joe and shadow are on the verge of slamming their heads against the wall at reki’s nonchalantness

and reki’s p injured so he’s laying in the couch with his head resting in langa’s lap,,,

joe tells everyone embarrassing cherry stories from school like all the time (but joe was a foolish child so cherry gets revenge)

miya likes crime documentaries

joe unironically watched supernatural and that’s part of the reason why he and cherry broke up

joe with depression,,, i just think about that a lot sometimes,,, sometimes cooking feels meaningless and, like langa, he only feels something when he skates but it’s only this temporary feeling of joy and life,,,

and shadow with anxiety,,, over-compensating his anxiety by being shadow at night and being over the top and sometimes mean because internalized ableism,,, and if he pretends he doesn’t have anxiety then maybe he won’t feel it late at night or when everything seems to go wrong during a shift at work and he keeps dropping flowers because his hands are shaking and girls don’t like guys with anxiety, right ??? so shadow thinks that he CAN’T have anxiety :/// poor dude

miya with separation anxiety pushing people away before they get attached because if they push them away before they become friends, then they wouldn’t be able to leave them,,,

langa always bouncing his foot in class and all the time because it’s his main form of stimming (look at that boy and try to tell me he doesn’t bounce his legs like there’s no tomorrow i dare you) and sometimes it makes his legs sore and cherry and joe once recommended using a heating pad if it got really sore and langa does sometimes and it makes him happy

reki with ts having anxiety when he has to speak in front of the class / do presentations because he’s hyper-aware of his tics,,, so he always meets langa’s eyes and watches langa the whole time and langa sometimes mimes taking deep breaths which really helps but honestly just seeing langa makes reki feel like he can do anything (because he would do anything for langa)

cherry doodling to stim as a child and always getting in trouble for it because teachers used to like get pissed when students doodled (or maybe they still do and it’s just always been pissy teachers and not specifically teachers when our parents were kids) and eventually cherry got fed up with getting points docked for doodling so he started writing lists and stuff and been realized he had impeccable handwriting (also joe let cherry doodle on his hand during classes they had together so cherry wouldn’t get in trouble)

cherry once had a dream that he was rachel berry and joe was finn uhh *insert last name here* from glee and joe had a beautiful voice when they sang duets in his dream so he managed to convince joe to sing in reality and turns out joe cannot sing and cherry’s glee dreams were never the same (look i am tired lol)

joe likes being the strong one in the group and he enjoys being able to mess around / show off by just casually picking people up (he also does it as an expression of love because they’re basically hugs depending on how he holds you) and one day cherry is like… done with it ??? and just strolls up to joe and just throws him over his shoulder or something and joe combusts because he did Not know cherry can do that and no his face isn’t red shut up he doesn’t find this attractive what’re you talking about

miya wants a sword and keeps trying to convince everyone to get them one for their birthday but no one will agree because ‘they’ll hurt themselves and everyone else it does not matter that all your favorite characters have swords that does not mean You should have one’

langa is the kind of person that puts peanut butter on a cheeseburger

reki’s love language is a mix of gift giving and acts of service, but he tends to lean more towards giving gifts. his receiving love language is words of affirmation but he does Not know that yet (langa does—hence his constant “you’re amazing, reki”—and eventually so does the rest of their gang lol)

shadow likes theatre

miya has internet friends,,, so does cherry,,,

joe posts those affirmations on his story all the time

reki’s texts are sometime hard to read because a) his hands get injured a lot and b) tourette’s but langa (and soon the others) learn how to read reki texts

langa sleeps with a fan on for white noise

shadow was worried (and feeling a little left out but if he doesn’t acknowledge it, then that emotion is not real… that’s how that works, right???) since he was in the hospital when reki skated against adam the second time, so when they all went back to cherry’s to tend to reki’s numerous wounds and also celebrate friendship, miya kept shadow on a face time call the entire evening

langa has an android phone

reki is super comfortable with periods because he lives with five girls—he also usually has a couple of pads and tampons on him at all times because he’s the older sibling lol

langa wears socks with sandals,,, so does shadow,,,

shadow’s feet get cold easily so he wears fluffy socks a lot

cherry keeps his fingernails at the perfect length to dramatically tap them against the table (also to freak people out by doing that)

miya is Not a morning person

miya also likes having the windows to shadow’s car rolled up because their hair gets in their face otherwise but shadow likes them down so it’s this constant struggle

i still stand by cherry suing ad*m and using the money he won to pay for reki’s medical bills (… and shadow’s… and langa’s if he needs any)

i just feel like many people have reason to sue ad*m

joe had really bad acne as a child and teen and cherry helped him feel less self-conscious about it and helped him embrace having acne and that’s one reason why he exposes so much skin as joe because it’s a reminder of personal growth <3
