Ok, so like I haven't seen this movie in years because it sucked, but like, offscreen, past the "unlikely misfit friendship" story we get, the implications of the Boov invasion were horrifyingly vast and bleak, and even though they "made peace" or whatever in the end, what they did to Earth was still monstrous and unjustifiable? Like, just think:
The majority of the Australian outback turned into "Happy Humansville" or whatever they called it, I'm assuming the watered-down version of the reserves from the book. Not only are the environmental implications of this staggering (like, ok, 90% of Australian plant and animal life has been paved over, cool), and the question of what happened to the Australians and their homes left entirely unanswered, but the outback is kind of sort of an inhospitable desert? Unless the Boov are somehow air conditioning all of Australia, everyone in the middle is going to roast.
The Gorg ship, of course, then just comes along and destroys half the continent, solidifying the near-complete environmental sanitization of Australia. While yes, this was the action of the Gorg and not the Boov, and it was still really fucked of the Gorg to do, he only did this because the Boov stole his only means of reproduction, and he was the last of his kind. He'd have gone extinct if he didn't get it back, of course he acted rashly. They were literally holding his children hostage. It's the cycle of violence spinning around and around, the Gorg now being driven to harm humans in the crossfire despite the Boov putting both of them in that position.
The edge cases... what happened to humans who were undergoing surgery when the invasion happened? Humans maintaining nuclear facilities? Humans with highly contagious diseases? Humans on life support? Diabetics? Humans anaphylactic to dairy? Humans who were being trafficked or were severely injured? Humans whose appendixes were about to explode? Dangerous insane asylum and prison inmates? Dictators? Neo-Nazis? Humans in hospice?
All domestic animals confined to homes, barns or enclosures at the time certainly starved to death.
Did the Boov set up any sort of healthcare system or pharmaceutical supply chain for the humans? They clearly didn't do much research on humans, and now they have control of the insulin, immunosuppressants and chemo supply! ALMOST ALL MEDICALLY FRAGILE PEOPLE PROBABLY DIED!
It looks like the humans are mostly being fed junk food. That's gonna go well, I'm sure. That'll pan out long-term, especially since I'm sure the Boov understand human nutrition and how allergies and celiac work!
All of this is to say, THE BOOV CLEARLY DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW TO TAKE CARE OF HUMANS, AND NOW ALL 7 BILLION ARE PACKED TOGETHER ON A SINGLE ISLAND. No regard for cultural or language barriers, families separated, slipshod infrastructure built in under a day, ebola and tuberculosis patients mixed in with everyone else, and it's really, REALLY fucking hot out there. It would turn into Mad Max within a month.
Like, seriously, imagine. Your new neighbors are a KKK grand wizard, Vladimir Putin, a serial killer in a prison jumpsuit, a child slave with his shackles still on, a man covered in festering sores who keeps coughing, a Chinese 5 year old who's desperately trying to tell you something you can't understand, and a corpse that just splattered on the ground, his chest still open from the heart transplant he was undergoing when the invasion began. Happy Humansville would have been a battle royale almost immediately, as well as an absolute petri dish for disease.
The Louvre being mistaken for a restaurant was played off as a joke, but like... that's actually not good? Every culturally important painting aside from Starry Night was potentially destroyed? Did this happen to every museum on earth? Think of the history that would have been lost. Undoubtedly a thousand Libraries of Alexandria were burnt that day. Every archeological site in Australia is surely gone!
We can just... leave our nuclear power plants unattended, right? Our oil rigs? Our still-running factories? Our dams? Our missile silos?
Even in the doubtlessly watered-down-ass movie, the Boov IRREPARABLY fucked over human civilization, and it's just NEVER brought up.
like the most politically neutered movie of all time unironically

tell me you love me! - kim mingyu
genre: friends to lovers!
wc: 1.7k
check out my masterlist! // gyu's m.list
“wanna bet?” mingyu’s voice is playful, his smirk cocky as he watches you with that glint in his eye that always makes your heart skip a beat. you try to keep your cool, but your pulse is already quickening.
you swallow nervously, not sure where this is going. “depends. what are the stakes?”
“whatever the winner wants,” he replies, leaning back against the couch, crossing his arms casually. his tone is confident, as though he knows exactly what he’s doing.
you raise an eyebrow, skeptical but intrigued. “anything? that’s a bit risky.”
“trust me,” mingyu says, his smile turning more confident, like he's enjoying this moment of control. "it’ll be worth it."
you hesitate, but only for a moment, before nodding. "fine. i'll bite."
“good choice,” he says, leaning forward with that usual cocky grin on his face. “so, here’s the bet.”
you wait, unsure of what’s coming, but bracing yourself for whatever he throws at you.
“arm wrestling,” he says, suddenly, and your eyes widen.
“that’s not fair!” you exclaim, unable to hide the surprise in your voice. you were expecting something—well, anything—else. something that didn’t involve you getting completely embarrassed in front of him.
mingyu chuckles, clearly amused by your reaction. "you already agreed, sweetheart. don’t back out now."
“but you’re way stronger than i am!” you argue, arms flailing slightly as you try to explain why this isn’t fair. “there’s no way i’m going to win!”
“a bet’s a bet,” mingyu shrugs nonchalantly, not even fazed by your protests. "you agreed to it. c'mon now."
you feel a mixture of frustration and a nervous, fluttery excitement as you sit down across from him, your eyes narrowing at his smug expression. he stretches out his arm, flexing his muscles just to tease you further.
you try to steel yourself, but your hands are already shaking. this wasn’t what you had in mind when you agreed to the bet, and now the thought of losing—especially in front of him—feels like the worst possible outcome.
“you ready?” mingyu asks, his voice dropping slightly as his fingers curl around your hand.
you bite your lip, casting a quick glance toward the door, as if you could escape from this situation, but then you look back at mingyu. his grin only widens, and you can see the playfulness in his eyes.
you press your lips together, determined to at least try. you might not win, but you weren’t going to back down without a fight.
when you both lock hands, the challenge is set, and mingyu’s grip feels like a vice around yours, making you feel smaller and weaker in comparison. you brace yourself, trying to summon the last of your courage.
the countdown begins. “three, two—”
before you can even blink, mingyu’s hand crashes down to the table with ease.
you blink at him, stunned for a moment. “...you’re kidding me.”
he laughs, the sound deep and triumphant, and leans back in his chair, clearly pleased with himself. “that was way too easy.”
“you didnt even give me a chance,” you complain, but mingyu doesn’t let you wallow for long. his cocky grin only grows wider as he leans in slightly, his gaze now fixed on you.
“so,” he begins, drawing out the word with exaggerated suspense, “since i won, i think i’ll collect my prize.”
you look up at him, panic flashing in your eyes as the realization hits you. “what do you want?” you ask with a sigh.
you barely have time to process it when he leans forward, his eyes glinting mischievously.
“i want a kiss,” he says simply, and the air feels like it’s been sucked out of your lungs.
you freeze. for a moment, you can’t think, can’t breathe. you open your mouth to protest, but the words don’t come. all you can do is blink at him, utterly caught off guard by his casual request.
“i-i can’t,” you stammer, taking a step back instinctively, your heart racing wildly in your chest.
“why not?” mingyu teases, his voice a little softer now, but still carrying that cocky edge. “it’s just a kiss.”
“but that’s... i just can’t,” you say, your voice shaking now, feeling vulnerable in a way you’ve never felt before. you’re in love with him—how could you not be? but the thought of kissing him, of letting him have that piece of you, knowing it could never be enough, feels like you’re setting yourself up for heartbreak. and you’re not ready for that.
mingyu’s expression falters slightly, a flicker of confusion crossing his features, but then he just shrugs, clearly thinking it’s just nerves.
“why not? it's just a kiss. you've kissed plenty of people before.” he teases, taking a step closer to you, his presence overwhelming in the best and worst way.
you swallow hard, trying to steady your breathing. “yeah but... why do you want one? ” you ask, your voice barely a whisper as you meet his eyes.
“isn’t it obvious?” he asks, his smirk returning as if it’s second nature to him. but there’s something different in the way he looks at you, something softer beneath the teasing.
“well... no?” you reply, unsure of yourself. “that’s why i’m asking. why did you—” you trail off, suddenly too scared to say the next words. to admit what you’re too afraid to admit even to yourself.
mingyu’s expression hardens for a brief second, before his gaze softens again, his cocky smile vanishing as his eyes narrow slightly, like he’s seeing right through you. “aren’t you in love with me?” he asks, his voice low and piercing, leaving no room for denial.
your heart stops. you feel like you’ve been slapped, the world spinning around you. you try to speak, to deny it, but the words stick in your throat. instead, you just stare at him, completely blindsided.
“what? that’s—” you begin to protest, but mingyu cuts you off, his voice now serious and commanding.
“i’m going to kiss you,” he says, his tone leaving no room for argument. “back out now if you don’t want it.”
you stand frozen, all the words swirling in your mind but not leaving your lips. your heart races, thundering in your chest as your thoughts spiral. you don’t want to back out. but you don’t want to risk having your heart broken, either.
you don’t say a word, but your silence says everything.
mingyu shifts closer, closing the gap between you, and you can feel your breath hitch as he leans down, his lips brushing gently against yours. the kiss is slow, almost tender, as if he’s waiting for you to pull away, but you don’t. you can’t. you kiss him back, feeling the warmth of his lips, the softness that you never expected, the connection you’ve always wanted but never dared to dream of.
when he pulls away, you’re breathless, your heart pounding wildly. you step back, your face flushed, and look away from him, suddenly feeling too exposed.
mingyu watches you carefully, his eyes searching yours. “do you regret it?” he asks, his voice soft and vulnerable but masking it by carrying that teasing edge.
“no, i just...” you start, but the words don’t come out the way you want them to. you feel the weight of everything you’ve kept hidden pressing down on you.
“hey, look at me,” mingyu says, his voice gentle now, almost like he’s comforting you.
reluctantly, you meet his gaze, your heart still racing in your chest. but now, it’s different. it’s not the same cocky mingyu you’re used to. there’s something deeper in his eyes.
“tell me you love me,” he says quietly, almost expectantly, like he already knows the answer.
your eyes widen, your mouth falling open as you try to make sense of what he just asked. “w-what?”
“you do,” mingyu insists, his gaze intense, his voice firm but soft. “i know you do. you look at me the same way i look at you. so just tell me you love me.”
you blink, your mind racing. “mingyu, what are you—”
“i said what i said,” he interrupts, his voice steady and confident. “you heard me loud and clear.”
you stand there, speechless, feeling as though the floor has been ripped from beneath you. so many thoughts are running through your head, but nothing makes sense. what does he mean 'you look at me the same way i look at you.'
“i... i don’t know what you’re talking about,” you whisper, backing away, your heart in your throat as panic and fear hugs you like a thick weighted blanket you can't shake off.
before you can take another step, mingyu’s hand shoots out, grabbing your wrist firmly. “don’t walk away from me,” he says quietly, his grip gentle but unyielding.
you freeze, your chest tightening. you want to pull away, but his touch is grounding you, making it impossible to move.
he pulls you back toward him. “i love you,” he says, his voice clear and sure. “everyone knows i do. you’re the only oblivious one.”
your heart stutters, your world spinning. “what?” you whisper, the words barely escaping your lips.
“and i know you do too,” mingyu continues, his gaze unwavering, his tone confident. “are you still going to tell me you don’t know what i’m talking about?”
you stand there, caught in his gaze, unable to move or speak, but in that moment, everything changes. the fear fades away, and something new takes its place.
mingyu encourages again, “tell me you love me,”
you swallow, your voice trembling as you finally admit out loud, “i love you.”
mingyu’s grin widens, and for the first time, it’s not cocky—it’s soft, full of relief and happiness. he pulls you into his arms, holding you close, and whispers, “you don't know just how bad i've wanted to hear you say these 3 words.”

Spend the Night with You, Spend My Life with You
summary: sex, snow and three little words
warnings: SMUT 18+, strap use
a/n: these two are so hopeless it hurts
word count: 3.5k
part 1
-
The edge of the kitchen island bites into your stomach as Alexia pushes you forward, her hands gripping your hips with a steady, deliberate pressure. You splay your fingers across the cool marble, desperate for purchase, but the smooth surface offers nothing to hold on to. When her hips snap forward, the shock of it ripples through your entire body, a gasp catching in your throat.
Your hand shoots out instinctively, grasping for anything to ground you. It lands on the hammered copper bowl at the edge of the counter. The movement sends it spinning off balance, and a dozen oranges tumble onto the floor, rolling in lazy, chaotic arcs. The bowl clatters noisily, a sound that echoes off the tiled walls. Neither of you reacts. You’re too far gone.
Alexia leans into you from behind, her chest pressing against your back as her hands slide up your sides, over your ribs, her touch both reverent and possessive. The weight of her against you is grounding, her skin hot where it meets yours. Her lips find the nape of your neck, and she bites—hard enough to sting, hard enough to make you gasp again.
You feel her breath against your ear, hot and ragged. “You’re perfect,” she murmurs, the words almost swallowed by the sounds of your own shallow breathing.
Your head falls forward, your forehead brushing the cold marble. You squeeze your eyes shut, focusing on the weight of her hands on your hips, the way her fingers dig into your skin like she’s afraid you’ll slip away.
“Alexia,” you breathe, her name tumbling out of you unbidden, as if it’s the only word you’ve ever known.
Her answer comes in the way her hips press harder against yours, the rhythm she’s set becoming a language all its own. There’s nothing else, nothing outside the space you’ve carved out together. The world could be ending, and it wouldn’t matter.
Her movements are sure, deliberate, her hands sliding from your hips to your stomach, then lower, fingers brushing over the heat of your skin. You shudder beneath her, your legs threatening to give out, but she holds you steady, her strength a reminder of the control she wields effortlessly.
“Look at me,” she commands, her voice low but firm, cutting through the haze that clouds your thoughts.
You lift your head, craning your neck to meet her gaze over your shoulder. Her eyes are dark, endless, and they pin you in place more effectively than any touch ever could. There’s something in her expression—a tenderness that feels at odds with the raw, almost brutal edge of what’s happening—and it makes your chest tighten.
“I love you,” she says, and the simplicity of it leaves you breathless.
It’s the first time she’s said it, the first time either of you has dared to name this thing between you. And even though you’d already come to terms with your feelings in the quiet of your own mind, hearing it out loud is like a punch to the gut.
You turn your head back, pressing your cheek against the cool surface of the counter, unable to face her for more than a moment. But her hands are insistent, guiding you upright, pulling you back against her chest. One arm wraps around your waist, holding you close, while her free hand tilts your chin up, forcing you to meet her eyes again.
“Say it,” she whispers, her lips brushing against your ear.
You hesitate, the words lodged in your throat, but the way her eyes soften—hopeful and unrelenting—undoes you completely.
“I love you,” you admit, the words breaking on a gasp as her hand slides lower, her touch erasing any lingering doubts.
The air between you shifts, heavy with something unspoken but deeply understood. Her mouth finds yours, the kiss urgent and messy, teeth clashing and tongues tangling as if she’s trying to devour the words you’ve just given her.
Your legs shake, and she senses it, so she pulls out and scoops you up with an ease that borders on arrogance. Your thighs lock around her waist instinctively, the movement both desperate and defiant, and your arms loop around her neck like you might otherwise drift away. She doesn’t falter, doesn’t pause. She carries you as if you weigh nothing, as if your feverish kisses and clumsy, grasping hands don’t threaten to frustrate her with every step.
You’re not sure where she’s taking you; there’s no plan, only the friction of her fingertips digging into the backs of your thighs and the insistent pressure of her mouth on yours. You lose yourself in the motion, in the heat of her skin beneath her shirt—a cotton button-down you vaguely recall unbuttoning in a fit of impatience. It’s pale blue, maybe linen, and creases easily, but somehow, on her, even its rumpled state looks deliberate. The kind of effortless chic that you hate to admit you envy.
The bedroom is the goal, you think, until it isn’t. Until the two of you crash onto the rug in front of the fireplace. A soft furnishing you remember buying on a whim—hand-woven by a fourth-generation family in the Atlas Mountains, the kind of purchase that implies you’re a person with taste, with distinction. It’s soft in some places, coarse in others, but all you can focus on is the way Alexia’s body moves against yours, her breath hot against your neck, her hands mapping out territory she already owns.
“God, you’re perfect,” she murmurs, her voice rough, a little breathless, and it’s absurd how much the words undo you. You feel her lips against your collarbone, then lower, her tongue tracing a line along the curve of your breast before she takes your nipple into her mouth. Your back arches, your breath catching, and you’re distantly aware of the way your legs tighten around her waist, pulling her impossibly closer.
The fire is building, frantic and all-consuming, and you’re helpless to stop it. Not that you want to. Not when her hands are on you, coaxing, demanding, grounding you in a way nothing else ever has. You lose yourself in her touch, her voice, her everything.
Time becomes a blur after that. The weight of her body, the press of her hands, the sound of her voice—low and rough and threading its way through the space between you—it’s all-consuming. You don’t remember when you stopped thinking, when you let go of the need to control the situation, or her, or yourself. But it’s somewhere between her mouth finding yours again and the sheer mess of your limbs tangling together, her strength pinning you exactly where she wants you.
When it’s over, when the storm of her finally settles into something quieter, her head resting against your shoulder and her breath warm against your neck, you remember.
“We’re late,” you announce, your voice cutting through the silence with all the grace of a car alarm.
Alexia doesn’t move at first, her body still draped lazily over you, hot breath tickling the damp skin of your neck. “What?” she hums, not lifting her head.
“Skiing” you say, as though it’s obvious. “The booking. The gear hire. The… everything.” You gesture vaguely toward the coffee table, where your itinerary sits, printed and highlighted and unnecessarily laminated.
She looks up then, and for a moment she just stares at you, blinking, as if she can’t quite believe what she’s hearing. Then, to your utter dismay, she starts laughing. It’s not a small laugh, either. It’s full-bodied, rich, and entirely at your expense.
“You’re joking,” she says between breaths, though it’s clear she knows you’re not.
“I’m not,” you insist, pushing her off you, though the movement feels like betrayal—like cutting the power to a film just as the climax hits. “The lift tickets were pre-booked. There’s a window. A strict window that were going to miss”
“And whose fault is it that?” she asks, raising an eyebrow.
“Yours,” you reply, deadpan. “You’re the one who decided to… well, distract me”
Alexia laughs again, a soft sound that’s warm and infectious and entirely too easy to forgive. “Distract you? That’s rich, coming from the person who couldn’t keep their hands to themselves”
“Don’t deflect,” you say, sitting up to make a point this is in fact very serious. “Do you know how much coordination it took to set this up? The calls? The emails? The back-and-forth with their useless website that doesn’t recognise international postcodes? And the ski instructor alone was a nightmare to book. He’s apparently some kind of legend—teaches everyone from A-listers to politicians to royalty. His name’s Pierre, which is almost too on the nose, but I digress. The point is, he’s probably been standing there for twenty minutes now, wondering if we’ve been mauled by wolves”
She grins, shaking her head, and there’s something infuriatingly fond about the way she looks at you. “You’re very dramatic”
“No, I’m being organised,” you counter, scrambling to your feet and reaching for your discarded shirt. “This was your idea, remember? ‘Let’s try skiing,’ you said. ‘It’ll be fun,’ you said”
“It will be fun,” she says, still seated on the floor, her hair dishevelled, her shirt hanging off one shoulder. She looks maddeningly good like this, like she belongs in some high-end editorial spread titled Après Passion.
“Not if we miss the slot,” you mutter, pulling your shirt over your head and avoiding her gaze. “Do you know what happens if you’re late? They give your spot away. To people on a wait list”
She doesn’t move immediately, instead she sits there on your hand-woven rug watching you with an expression that’s equal parts fond and exasperated. “You know, you’re kind of cute when you’re like this,” she says, her voice teasing.
“Like what?”
“Frantic. Bossy. Pretending you don’t care when you obviously do”
You roll your eyes, but there’s no real bite to it. “Just get dressed. The sooner we get this over with, the sooner I can go back to not caring”
-
The beginner slopecharmingly nicknamed “Bunny Hill”—is far steeper than Alexia had anticipated. She stands rigidly at the edge, her boots clipped into rental skis that are alarmingly bright, the sort of neon green you associate with aggressive cycling brands or obnoxious trainers. You wonder if they’re intentionally loud, designed to help instructors spot the inevitable bodies sprawled across the snow.
Beside her, you’re dressed in a Moncler ski suit so pristine it practically sparkles in the sunlight. The stitching is quilted in perfect geometric diamonds, and the fur-lined hood is deliberately oversized, framing your face like the edges of a Vogue cover shoot. Your skis are top-tier: Fischer RC4 World Cups, chosen partly for their reputation and partly because the matte black matches your poles. You’ve already waxed them twice this season, though they probably didn’t need it. Your goggles, Oakleys with custom polarised lenses, sit snugly over your face, and you’re already warm, thanks to the base layer that cost more than the deposit on your first flat.
Alexia is, as always, frustratingly nonchalant. Her goggles, brand-new Oakleys you’d insisted on buying for her, sit slightly crooked on her face, the strap twisted in a way that makes your fingers itch to adjust them. The matching jacket, a sleek, insulated Patagonia shell in a shade of deep red that complements her complexion, fits perfectly—though she wears it like it’s just another hoodie tossed on before training. The trousers, Arcteryx, are so crisp they almost crackle, the tags having been snipped off mere hours ago. She looks every bit the part of a seasoned skier, though her posture suggests she’s waiting for the whole ordeal to be over so she can sit by the fire with a hot drink.
She shifts awkwardly, her poles dragging in the snow. “This is steeper than I thought”
You glance at the slope. It’s a nursery hill. Literal children are whizzing past with confidence, some barely old enough to tie their own shoelaces. A mother is halfway down, calling encouragement to a toddler in a lime-green snowsuit who is spinning in place, his skis forming an accidental snow angel.
“You’ll be fine,” you say, perhaps too casually, because she turns to look at you, her eyes narrowed.
“I’m not used to this,” she says, gesturing vaguely at the expanse of white in front of her. “You didn’t mention it would feel so… exposed”
You shrug. “You’ll pick it up quickly. You’re an athlete”
“Exactly, I don’t want to break my leg before the season starts”
Her caution surprises you. This is Alexia Putellas, who spends most of her life hurling herself into situations where bones break as casually as fingernails. But now, faced with the prospect of skiing, she’s hesitant, almost timid. It’s endearing, if not mildly irritating.
Pierre, your instructor for the day, is waiting at the bottom of the hill. His presence alone feels like an Arian tourism advertisement: flaxen hair, sharp cheekbones, and a jawline you could slice cheese on. His ski suit is a garish shade of blue, the logo of a the resort emblazoned across his chest. He waves at you both, teeth so white they practically refract the sun.
“Everyone is going to laugh at me,” Alexia mutters, her grip tightening on her poles.
“Maybe, but Pierre doesn’t count,” you say, ignoring the way she winces at the name. “He’s Swiss. They’re born on skis.”
She takes a deep breath and adjusts her goggles, the anti-fog coating catching the light. “Alright. I can do this”
She can’t do this, you quickly learn.
The moment she pushes off, it’s clear she’s underestimated the logistics. Her knees are too stiff, her weight too far back, and the skis seem to have a mind of their own. She picks up speed alarmingly quickly, her arms flailing in an almost cartoonish attempt at balance. You watch in horror as she veers toward the edge of the slope, narrowly missing a child who stares after her with wide-eyed bewilderment.
“Bend your knees!” you shout, though it’s futile.
Somehow, she manages to slow herself down enough to come to an abrupt, awkward halt halfway down the hill. She’s breathing heavily, her face flushed—not from exertion but from what you suspect is a mix of terror and mortification.
“What was that?” she calls up to you, her voice high-pitched.
“You were leaning back,” you reply, sliding toward her with an ease you know she finds infuriating. “Your centre of gravity was off”
“No shit,” she mutters, bending over to adjust her boots.
When you reach her, you make a show of stopping gracefully, your skis forming a perfect parallel line. You stand over her like an insufferable authority figure, which, let’s be honest, you are.
“Look,” you say, your tone breezy. “It’s all about weight distribution. Shift forward. Use your knees to absorb the movement. It’s physics”
She looks up at you, incredulous. “Are you seriously quoting physics to me right now?”
“Would you prefer I quote Pythagoras?”
“I’d prefer you stop being smug”
You grin. “I’m not being smug. I’m being helpful”
She scowls, but there’s no real venom in it.
Eventually, she makes it to the bottom, though not without incident. She topples twice, once taking out a marker pole and once nearly colliding with Sven, who watches the whole debacle with the stoicism of someone who’s seen far worse.
“I’m retiring,” Alexia declares when she finally comes to a stop, her skis splayed at an awkward angle.
“You’re fine,” you say, brushing snow off her jacket.
“I’m not fine. My pride is in pieces”
“Pride heals faster than a broken leg,” Pierre says, his tone unhelpfully chipper.
-
The lodge, when you finally retreat to it, is a welcome reprieve, a perfect cliché of alpine charm. The interior is all dark wood and exposed beams, the kind that might be reclaimed or might just be faux-rustic, it’s hard to tell. Roaring fireplaces anchor every corner, their stone mantels adorned with garlands of holly and pine cones sprayed with artificial snow. The air is thick with the scent of mulled wine, damp wool, and wood smoke, mingling in a way that makes the space feel both comforting and mildly suffocating.
Alexia slumps into a seat near the fireplace, tugging off her goggles with the dramatic sigh of someone who’s just endured a life-altering trauma. She drops them onto the table, where they skid across the varnished surface before coming to rest against a cast iron candleholder.
“I hate this,” she announces, slouching low in her chair like a moody teenager who’s just been told to tidy their room.
“You don’t hate this,” you say, sliding into the seat opposite her and unzipping your jacket with far less fanfare. “You hate not being good at it”
She glares at you, her jaw tightening in that way it always does when you’ve hit the mark. It’s the same glare she gives referees when a call doesn’t go her way, and it’s just as ineffective now as it is then.
“Admit it,” you press, unable to resist poking the bear. “You’re annoyed because skiing isn’t something you can dominate after five minutes of practice”
“I’m annoyed because skiing is stupid,” she retorts, though the defensive edge in her voice gives her away. “Who even decided sliding down a mountain with sticks strapped to your feet was a good idea?”
“Norwegians, probably,” you say, leaning back in your chair. “Blame them”
She grumbles something in Spanish, too low for you to catch, but the sharpness of her tone tells you it’s probably an insult aimed at both the Norwegians and you.
Before you can tease her further, a server appears with hot chocolates. They’re obscene—decadent monstrosities served in oversized ceramic mugs. Each one is piled high with whipped cream, dusted with cocoa powder, and garnished with sugar-dusted gingerbread stars precariously balanced on the rim. A stray marshmallow floats in the froth, its edges beginning to dissolve.
Alexia stares at hers like it’s personally offended her.
“What?” she demands when you burst into laughter.
“Nothing,” you say, though your smirk gives you away entirely. “It’s just… not very you, is it?”
“What’s that supposed to mean?” she asks, narrowing her eyes.
“Nothing,” you repeat, though you can’t stop yourself from glancing pointedly at the gingerbread star perched on her mug like it’s auditioning for next year's John Lewis Christmas advert.
“You’re enjoying this too much,” she mutters, picking up a marshmallow and lobbing it at you without warning.
It hits your sleeve, leaving a faint, sticky smudge of melted sugar on your Moncler jacket. You look down at it, then back at her, your expression perfectly deadpan.
“Childish,” you say, flicking the marshmallow back at her.
She dodges it with the expected reflexes of someone who captains her national team, though the movement is so exaggerated it draws the attention of the couple at the next table. You give them an apologetic smile, but Alexia just grabs her spoon and scoops an alarming amount of whipped cream off her hot chocolate.
“Don’t you dare,” you warn, raising a hand in mock surrender.
Her smirk is pure mischief as she leans forward, balancing the spoon precariously. “You started it”
“And best believe me, I’ll finish it too,” you say, though your tone lacks conviction.
She takes this as permission and flings the whipped cream in your direction. It lands squarely on your shoulder, and the entire room seems to pause as you stare at the mess now streaking your ski suit.
“You're five,” you say flatly, reaching for a napkin.
“You deserved it,” she replies, utterly unrepentant, leaning back in her chair with a victorious grin that makes your stomach flip in a way you’re starting to find annoyingly familiar.
You shake your head, suppressing a smile as you wipe the sticky smudge off your sleeve. The lodge hums around you—soft chatter, the occasional clink of glasses, the crackle of the fire—and yet it feels like the world has narrowed to just this table, just her.
She’s still grinning when you glance back up, like she knows exactly what she’s doing to you. It’s infuriating. And addictive.
“You’re a pain,” you mutter, more to yourself than to her, but she hears it anyway.
“Yet, you still love me,” she quips, her tone light, teasing, but there’s something in her eyes—something unguarded and fleeting, like a glimpse of light through a crack in the curtains.
It makes your chest ache, but not in a way that hurts. It’s the kind of ache you feel when you’re exactly where you’re meant to be, when everything finally clicks into place.
You shrug, trying to play it cool even as your pulse stumbles over itself. “Maybe I do”
Her grin softens, just slightly, and for a second, it feels like the world pauses. The fire crackles, the snow falls softly outside, and all the noise of the lodge blurs into background static.
Then she picks up her mug, takes an exaggerated sip of her hot chocolate, and smirks. “Lucky me”
Lucky her indeed.

Ꮺ . , CUZ YOU’RE MY HYPE BOY , L.CY !
PAIRING: bf ! anton × gf ! afab reader. SYNOPSIS: never in your wildest dreams had you dreampt of leaking at the wrong time but here you were, trying to hide the stain your period blood left on your bf's sheets—will you succeed? [REQUESTED] . . . . . . GENRE: fluff, fic, period talk & mentions of pain and blood obvio. WORD COUNT: 1.6k [LIBRARY] ᶻ 𝘇 𐰁 sena’s note — this was such a cute fic to write, thank you to the anon who requested, ily <3
You wake up to a sharp, familiar ache in your stomach, and a groan slips out before you can stop it. The cramps are bad—bad enough to make you regret spending the night at Anton’s apartment. You weren’t planning on staying over, but it was late, and Anton, being the gentleman he is, insisted you shouldn’t walk home alone.
Now, though, you wish you’d just gone home. Because as the pain twists in your lower stomach, you have an awful realization.
Carefully, you lift the blanket and glance down, your heart dropping. There, on Anton’s spotless, white sheets, is a visible red stain.
Your period.
For a moment, you just stare at it, horrified, your cheeks burning. How could you forget it was coming? And of course, it had to happen here, of all places. Your hormones are already making you emotional, and now panic kicks in full force.
Anton is still fast asleep behind you, his soft breathing the only sound in the room. You glance back at him, guilt and embarrassment tangling in your chest. He looks so peaceful, completely unaware of the mess you’ve made.
Your mind races. What is he going to think? Will he be mad about his sheets? Annoyed that you’ve ruined his morning?
And yet, a small voice in your head reminds you of who Anton is—the same Anton who stayed up late helping you pick out groceries, who insisted on carrying your bag even though it wasn’t that heavy. He’d never yell at you. Right?
Still, you can’t shake the nerves. You’ve worked so hard to keep a good image in front of him—always put-together, always in control. And now this? How are you supposed to explain it?
Taking a deep breath, you sit up slowly, wincing as another cramp hits. You’ll have to handle this before he wakes up. You just hope he’ll understand if he finds out.
You’re so lost in your panicked thoughts that you don’t even notice Anton stirring behind you. His arms wrap around your waist, pulling you close, but you immediately squirm out of his grip.
Anton blinks, rubbing his eyes with a sleepy confusion. The sun hasn’t fully risen yet, and the soft morning light barely fills the room. His brows furrow as he sits up slightly, his voice gentle and laced with concern. “What’s wrong, baby?”
You open your mouth, intending to brush it off, to say nothing, but the words catch in your throat. His gaze is too soft, too worried, and for a second, you freeze.
But Anton isn’t as clueless as you hoped he’d be. He pauses, his nose twitching slightly, his expression shifting. There’s something about the smell—unmistakably off. Not that he knows exactly what period blood smells like, but it’s… different. And it’s coming from you.
Before he can say anything, another gush of blood makes your stomach twist, and you bolt from the bed, rushing toward the bathroom. Your heart is pounding as you shut the door behind you, barely holding back tears as you glance down. Your underwear and pants are already worse than before, and the humiliation hits harder than the cramps.
You lean against the bathroom counter, trying to steady your breathing, but all you can think is: How am I going to face him now?
Anton isn’t confused—he’s just worried. The moment you shut the bathroom door, he glances down at the bed and notices the fresh red stain on his pristine white sheets. He doesn’t hesitate. Getting out of bed, he approaches the bathroom door, softly knocking as he hears the faint sound of your sobs.
“Baby, talk to me. Do you need anything?” His voice is gentle, filled with concern.
You try to keep it together, forcing out a shaky, “I’m fine,” from behind the door.
But Anton isn’t buying it. After a brief pause, he knocks again, his voice a little quieter this time. “I… I kept a packet of pads in my drawer. You know, just in case… so… you can…”
He trails off awkwardly, and you can easily picture him standing outside the door, scratching the back of his neck, trying to give you space but wanting to help.
You wipe at the tear slipping down your cheek, your embarrassment still overwhelming. “Do you… have them right now?” you ask hesitantly, your voice small.
“Yeah.”
“Okay…” You take a deep breath. “I’ll open the door. Oh gosh, this is so embarrassing.”
You crack the door open just enough to let him hand the pad through. Anton doesn’t try to look inside, and you snatch it quickly before shutting the door again. But as you glance down at your ruined underwear and pants, another wave of frustration and helplessness washes over you.
“Um…” you mutter, hesitating before you call out again, your voice shaky. “My panties and pants… they…” You trail off, staring at the bloody mess.
You groan, more to yourself than to him. “Why does it have to be me? God!” The urge to yell is overwhelming, but before you can spiral further, Anton knocks again, his voice soft but steady.
“Here,” he says, slipping a pair of boxers and shorts under the door. “They’re mine, but, um, the boxers are an old pair—probably a little smaller, so they might fit okay. And the shorts are loose, so…”
You stare at the clothes, his thoughtfulness surprising you. He adds quickly, “Oh, I put the blanket in the wash. Don’t worry about it. And… if you want me to, I could wash your panties and pants too—”
“PLEASE NO!” you blurt out, horrified. “ITS DISGUSTING, EVEN FOR ME!”
Anton flinches on the other side of the door, your sudden outburst making him fall silent. “Okay,” he mumbles, his tone a little sheepish, before retreating to give you space.
As you get yourself cleaned up, you can’t help but replay everything in your mind, the humiliation bubbling up again. But underneath the embarrassment, a tiny flicker of gratitude lingers. Anton may have seen more of you than you’d ever intended, but his calm, gentle way of handling it makes you feel just a little less alone.
You’re not sure how much time has passed as you stand in the bathroom, rinsing the blood from your panties and pants. You know you’ll eventually need to properly wash them later—leaving them would just make the smell worse. The memory of an old, similar experience leaves you determined to clean up the mess as best as you can now, even though the situation still feels mortifying.
After finishing, you take a deep breath, shoulders slumping as you step out of the bathroom. Your hands are thoroughly washed, but guilt still weighs heavy on you. You can’t help but feel like you’ve ruined Anton’s peaceful holiday morning with this mess.
Always causing trouble, you scold yourself internally.
But the soft, refreshing smell of lavender in the air pulls you out of your spiral. Glancing around, you spot the faint flicker of a lavender-scented candle melt on the nightstand. He must have lit it to make sure you didn’t feel self-conscious about any lingering smells.
Your chest tightens, warmth blooming where shame had been moments ago. Why was Anton so thoughtful? So gentle? You couldn’t help but fall for him a little more.
“Baby,” his voice calls from the other room, breaking your thoughts. You turn, finding him standing near the bed with two plates in his hands. “I made us both—woah.”
His jaw drops slightly, and you follow his gaze, realizing you’re still wearing his shorts and boxers. They’re a bit oversized, sitting loosely on your frame, and suddenly you feel self-conscious.
“What’s that?” you blurt, quickly trying to divert his attention. Your eyes land on the plates in his hands.
“Oh, this?” He holds them up slightly, a sheepish grin on his face. “I cooked for us… since you’re on your… ehm, periods.” His cheeks flush slightly as he finishes, his voice awkward but endearing. It’s clear this is all new to him, and you realize—you’re his first girlfriend, and this is probably the first time he’s ever dealt with something like this.
You blink in surprise, glancing at the plates again. Eggs, fully cooked, sit neatly on them. It’s not perfect, but it’s not runny either. You know how much Anton struggles to cook, so this feels like a small miracle.
The realization of everything he’s done for you hits hard. He didn’t just stop at replacing the sheets or lighting the candle—he even attempted cooking despite his lack of skill.
Your chest swells with emotion, and before you can stop yourself, you wrap your arms around him. Anton flinches slightly, caught off guard with both plates still in his hands. You bury your face in his chest, mumbling, “You don’t think I’m weird?”
Anton tilts his head, the corners of his lips twitching into a small, innocent smile. “I just think you’re fertile.”
The sheer absurdity of the statement makes you laugh, even as a tear slips down your cheek. He’s so clueless yet so sincere that it’s impossible to stay embarrassed.
You pull back, wiping the tear away as he teased, “I love you, but I’d appreciate it more if you forget the stain and instead praise this chef.”
Anton smirks, watching as you plant a soft peck on his lips. He doesn’t even get the chance to pull you closer, both hands still occupied with the plates. The warmth of his love and efforts almost makes you forget the dull ache in your stomach.
Even if your cramps are still there, maybe surviving this morning with your boyfriend’s cooking and his genuine care will be enough to make the pain feel a little less overwhelming—even if his cooking turns out to be a bit of a disaster.

I was thinking that the other after reading a yet another discussion about how women didn't have any sex drive nor phantasm because it wasn't in our evolutionary nature as a mean to reproduction. You the usual "only male orgasm is necessary"... as if nature gave a damn about only giving pleasure center to the beings with semen or had any write in stone logic about reproduction. But I digress.
So while all those men debate on why it wasn't technically possible for female to, you know, like sex, or anything related to it, the same way men did (as an argument as to why it was more difficult for men to control their libido), I though: "Does any of those weirdos not realize that the erotic industry is literally dominated by women consumers. That most of fandoms shipping and fanfics are in majority carried and created by girls and women, which HIGHLY contribute to the success of a media, as the more they are involved in said fandom, the more likely it will gain popularity. That there is an entire genre (Yaoi) catering to the ladies pornographic and erotic interest and that in any bookstore, the entire erotic section is practically entirely sold to a female audience?"
And it isn't just the naughty side of fandom/media. I cannot prove it because it is anonymous, but I convinced that AO3 is mainly composed of a female community, that is on the author side than in the readers side. Every time, I read one fan fic I can tell from the way it is written that a woman is being it. Women have always been the most efficient silent marketer of all those medias and when I read guys saying women don't understand anything about video game and fake interest into, I am thinking that if I type said game on the Google search engine, I know that all the fan merch and creation I will find will be mainly done by girl. Or queer people, because their community is also a big factor into that underground marketing. And I am a bit tired of this hypocrite view. Producer and big studios keep on saying that things that could cater to a female (and/or a queer) audience will not work, because, in fact, they are afraid that it will chase away their precious male consumers if the latter hear it isn't just for them. They think only their view matter so they choose to completely ignore what the real demographic of a fandom is really made of. It is the equivalent of an immature boy club that have build a tree house with a "no girl allowed" sign: If girls were not talking about it, that treehouse would lose its interest in a week. That is why they continue to do marketing survey with teenage boys (and when they do create stuff that is based on it, it is usually a flop) instead of expending to the entire human population. And when they do on piece of media they claim to be for everyone, they made so insanely badly without much effort to let people know about its existence, which they use afterward as an excuse to go back to their usual way because "obviously it isn't working."
Leading to douchebags claiming afterward the "females" do not and cannot enjoy media nor have elaborate taste of it, the way males do, because they cannot project nor comprehend the deepness and multilayer of a fiction. As they are creature of present, therefore their brain can't imagine meaning beyond concrete representation; that they can even understand that two actors not really related by blood in real life can play member of the same family on screen. thus, they only pretend to be interest to attract the male attention. this is pretty toxic and I would really like it to end.

A/N: Hoe, Hoe, Hoe! Happy Holidays, folks! Can you believe it? We've made it to Day 25, and there's just one more story left before Smutmas officially comes to a close! This story is particularly special to me because it's a direct sequel to one of my very first ventures outside my comfort zone—Off Script—where I took on the challenge of writing Alastor as a sub. I really hope you all enjoy it! I did my best to keep him in character, so fingers crossed it hits the mark. And finally—Kit, let’s both finish Smutmas tomorrow with a… bang!
SUMMARY: Alastor thought he was being clever when he snuck extra spices into your gingerbread mix, but his bratty antics had consequences he clearly wasn’t prepared for. As sweet as you usually are, you’re also a master of dominance, and tonight, Alastor learns exactly what that means.
TAGS/WARNINGS: f!reader, pleasure dom! reader, bratty sub! alastor, alastor has a tail, oral sex, overstimulation, pegging, anal plug, aftercare, p in v, fluffy-wuffy, no ANGST (because people be thinking I'm writing angstmas??? >:U)
The first time you broached the topic of introducing your particular interests in the bedroom to Alastor, it did not go as planned. In fact, it spiralled into an entirely unforeseen direction. He veered off script, revealing an unexpected side of himself. It didn’t take long for you to realize something that honestly shouldn’t have been too surprising: Alastor was, perhaps, the most delightfully bratty submissive you had ever encountered.
At first, you had been hesitant, cautious even, testing the waters with a delicate touch. You started slow, pinning his wrists above his head while straddling him, your slick folds gliding teasingly along the hard length of his cock. His body was tense beneath you, his breath coming in short, sharp bursts as he fought to remain still. And yet, you could see it—the flicker of amusement, the glint of curiosity, and the unspoken challenge in his ruby eyes.
“Darling,” he rasped, his voice a mix of feigned irritation and genuine arousal, “you do realize I am the one in control here.”
You leaned closer, your lips brushing his ear. “Oh, of course, love. It’s all for you,” you whispered, your voice dripping with honeyed submission, knowing full well how the words would stoke his ego.
That balance—teasing the line between control and surrender—was crucial with Alastor. He was willing to explore these new dynamics with you as long as he felt the game was his to win. Over time, these intimate games deepened your connection, building trust in a way neither of you had anticipated.
It was in these moments of play that you discovered just how much he enjoyed being edged. He saw it as a competition, a challenge, and every false word of bravado he muttered only made you more determined.
“Is that all you’ve got?” he taunted one evening, his hands tied above his head as you licked a slow stripe along the underside of his cock. His body betrayed him, trembling with the effort of restraint even as he smirked.
“Oh, you’ll see what I’ve got,” you replied sweetly, revelling in the sharp gasp that escaped him as you abruptly stopped, leaving him throbbing and desperate.
In time, Alastor even began to participate in choosing the tools for your escapades. When you brought out a selection of dildos, he would inspect them with a meticulousness that was almost comical, tilting his head and tapping his chin as though he were selecting fine wine.
“That one,” he’d say with a grin, pointing to the one you knew he loved. And when you took your time with him, thrusting the toy deep into his ass while your lips wrapped around his cock, he would surrender so completely it left you breathless. His body would go slack, his head tilting back as he moaned your name, every line of tension melting away. In those moments, he was utterly yours, and the vulnerability he showed was nothing short of beautiful.
But, as you learned, this came with its own set of challenges.
Take the time you had decided to edge him for hours as “punishment” for one of his pranks—spiking your tea with a hellpeppers just to see your reaction. He had whimpered, begged, and finally come undone in a way that left him breathless. But instead of deterring him, it only seemed to spur him on. From that day forward, his pranks became more frequent, each one more mischievous than the last, as though he were daring you to make good on your “punishments.”
Like today.
You had been looking forward to baking gingerbread cookies, humming softly to yourself as you worked. But when you took a bite of the first batch, you nearly gagged. The sweetness was overwhelmed by a fiery burn that made your eyes water. Whirling around, you saw him standing there, hands clasped behind his back, his signature grin stretching impossibly wide.
“Alastor!” you snapped, pointing accusingly at the tray of ruined cookies. “Did you do this?”
His laugh was a low, melodic hum, a sound that made your skin tingle. “Why, my dear, I haven’t the faintest idea what you mean,” he replied, though his twitching nose and barely contained snicker betrayed him.
You narrowed your eyes, stalking toward him as he took a step back, his grin faltering just slightly. “Oh, you know exactly what I mean,” you said, your voice syrupy sweet and laced with intent.
The sharp click of your teeth echoed in the quiet kitchen as you fought to rein in the rising tide of frustration. Your eye twitched, your hands curling into fists at your sides as you surveyed the latest in a string of sabotages. The day had started with a simple enough task: helping Charlie decorate the hotel with festive holiday cheer. It should have been done in two hours. Two. Instead, six gruelling hours later, you were still at it, thanks to Alastor’s relentless interference.
Like a mischievous shadow, he’d been everywhere, undoing your progress with a gleeful flourish, all while flashing that infuriating grin.
Now, staring at the ruined cookie dough—a batch you’d painstakingly mixed, rolled, and shaped—your patience finally hit its breaking point. The thought of starting over from scratch, gathering ingredients, kneading dough, and baking again made your stomach churn.
But just as you were about to storm off searching for a quiet space to collect yourself, something stopped you.
The faintest movement caught your eye—the way the back of Alastor’s coat fluttered as he turned, the eager, almost expectant glint in his eyes as he glanced your way.
And then it hit you.
The realization came as a sharp pang of guilt. Between the influx of new sinners at the hotel, Charlie’s relentless schedule of events, and your constant involvement in helping out, you’d been neglecting Alastor. It hadn’t been intentional, but you couldn’t deny it either. Months had passed where you’d barely seen him outside of fleeting interactions, let alone shared any meaningful moments together. Even the intimacy of the bedroom had been replaced by nights spent alone in your own room.
You sighed softly, the frustration in your chest shifting into something else—understanding, perhaps even regret. Of course, Alastor, with his peculiar ways, wouldn’t simply say he missed you. That wasn’t his style. No, this was his way of communicating, as exasperating as it was endearing.
Walking toward him, your demeanour softened. Your fingers grazed lightly down the front of his chest, the movement enough to draw his attention. His grin faltered for just a moment as you spoke, your voice low and soft.
“I’m going to my room,” you murmured, offering no further explanation as you turned and walked away. You didn’t need to look back to know he would follow.
By the time you stepped into your room, the shadows shifted, and Alastor materialized before you with his usual dramatic flair.
“Already, darling?” he chimed, his tone as jovial as ever. “Oh, I pity poor Charlie for hiring someone who can’t manage such a simple task,” he teased, his grin widening as he prodded at your lingering frustration.
But this time, instead of rising to his bait, you smirked. Slowly, deliberately, you closed the distance between you, your eyes never leaving his. His playful expression faltered, just slightly, as you leaned in, resting your head against his chest.
“I’m so disappointed, Alastor,” you whispered, your voice carrying a softness that belied the weight of your words. His body stiffened beneath your touch, and a shiver ran through him as your fingers deftly began to unbutton his shirt.
“You’ve been so bad these last few weeks,” you continued, each syllable dripping with quiet reprimand.
Alastor’s breath hitched as the fabric slipped from his shoulders, exposing his skin to the dim light of your room. “Oh, that’s what I do best,” he quipped, though his voice trembled slightly, betraying the bravado in his words.
With a gentle push, he stumbled back onto the bed, his legs spreading instinctively as he leaned back on his arms. His cock twitched, already hardening, as he watched you climb onto him with methodical slowness.
“And what will you do about it, darling?” he goaded, his tone laced with challenge.
“Well,” you mused, straddling him without letting a single inch of your body touch his, “I suppose it’s only fair that I receive my recompense.”
Your fingers traced the sharp lines of his face, moving with tenderness that made him shudder beneath you. His grin faltered, his composure slipping as you let your touch wander downward. Your nails ghosted over his chest, tracing patterns against his skin, stopping just shy of his now achingly hard cock.
“Darling,” he rasped, his voice thick with need, his body trembling with the effort of restraint.
“Patience,” you whispered, a smirk playing at your lips as you leaned in closer. “After all, you’ve been so bad—surely you understand the importance of a little... delay.”
Alastor’s eyes burned with equal parts anticipation and defiance, but he made no move to stop you. For once, he was entirely at your mercy, and you intended to savour every moment.
“Since you love to play around so much,” you murmured, your gaze locking onto his piercing crimson eyes, “let’s playtogether, Al.”
Your words were honeyed, teasing, as your fingers finally wrapped firmly around the thick shaft of his cock. His breath hitched audibly, and for a fleeting moment, his ever-present grin wavered. That alone was victory enough, but you weren’t finished. Leaning in, you let your lips ghost over his, so close that your breath mingled with his.
“Hours, Alastor,” you whispered, your voice dripping with promise. “I’ll play with you for hours.”
The effect was immediate. His eyes fluttered closed, and a soft, involuntary moan slipped from his lips. The usual bravado he wore like a mask began to crack under the slow, deliberate stroke of your hand. You could feel the way he melted into your touch, his body responding with a shiver as the tension in him ebbed away.
He no longer held back, no longer stifled the sounds he made or the soft confessions of what felt good beneath your touch. It had taken time, patience, and trust to reach this point, where he no longer masked his vulnerability in shame but surrendered to it with you.
You pressed your other hand to his chest, urging him back, and he complied without resistance, lying against the bed as you worked him with skilled hands. His cock throbbed hot and heavy in your grasp, silken beneath your palm as you pumped it with slow, deliberate strokes.
“D-Darling,” he breathed out, his voice trembling, his head falling back as his hips began to roll against your hand. His moans started low, rising in pitch as his body grew more desperate, his movements frantic in his chase for release.
You matched his urgency, your hand moving faster, guiding him closer to the edge. His foreskin slid over the glossy tip of his cock, only to be drawn back down, exposing the glistening head with each thrust. The slick sounds of your motions filled the room, mingling with his erratic breaths and soft cries.
“Darling, darling!” he cried out, his hips canting forward one last time before his release overtook him. Hot, sticky ropes of cum painted his chest, streaking his skin with creamy lines. His breath came in heavy, uneven pants as his body trembled in the aftershocks of pleasure. A haze of satisfaction clouded his crimson eyes, but beneath it, you saw the flicker of anticipation. He knew this wasn’t over.
Your fingers lazily dipped into the sticky warmth of his release, swirling through it before lifting to your lips. Your tongue darted out, tasting him with a soft hum of appreciation. “Mmm, it’s been a while, hasn’t it, Al?” you teased, pressing a lingering kiss to the oversensitive tip of his cock. He jolted, his hips bucking instinctively at the sudden contact.
“You haven’t been finding release without me, have you?” you asked, your voice sweet but laced with mischief.
“Hah!” His laugh was strained, tinged with his usual bravado as he tried to recover some semblance of control. “Please, darling, I can hold myself back just fine,” he quipped, though his eyes darted away, betraying him.
“Is that so?” you murmured, your tone light and teasing. Without warning, you leaned down, engulfing his still-soft cock with your mouth.
Alastor hissed sharply, his claws sinking into the bedsheets as you drew back his foreskin with your lips, swirling your tongue over his sensitive head. His body jerked beneath you, trembling as overstimulation began to set in.
“Ah, d-darling,” he panted, his voice shaky, the usual radio-filtered crackle distorted by the raw edge of his cries. “A-ah, ah!” His cock twitched weakly in your mouth, his body entirely at your mercy.
You didn’t relent, your tongue working over him with precision, coaxing out every last tremor of pleasure you could draw from him. His head fell back, exposing the vulnerable column of his throat, as his hands fisted the sheets in a futile attempt to ground himself. His breath came in ragged gasps, his voice breaking as he moaned your name again and again.
But you remained attuned to him, careful to read the signals of his body. Alastor, ever stubborn, would never admit when pleasure teetered on the edge of too much, and you wouldn’t let him push past his limits. For you, his pleasure was your greatest reward, the sight of him unravelling before you igniting a heat in your core that left you clenching and aching with need.
Still, you slowed your ministrations, pulling back just enough to let him breathe, to bask in the blissful haze that softened his sharp edges. His trembling body told you everything his words wouldn’t—that he trusted you completely, in this and in everything else.
The moment his thighs began to tremble, instinctively closing around your head, you knew it was time to stop. With a calculated precision, your lips tightened into a seal around his cock, sucking deeply one last time before pulling back. His length slipped free with a loud, wet pop, leaving him quivering and gasping beneath you.
Alastor's abdomen fluttered with each shallow breath, his chest rising and falling erratically as he tried to gather himself. A thin sheen of sweat coated his pale skin, catching the soft light and accentuating the slight tremor that rippled through him. His crimson eyes, glazed and unfocused, stared blankly at the ceiling, his usual composure nowhere to be found.
Your gaze softened as you admired the rare vulnerability etched into his features, but a spark of mischief flickered in your chest. Leaning forward, you dragged your tongue languidly along your middle and index fingers, wetting them thoroughly before trailing them downward. When you pressed the slick pads of your fingers against the tight ring of muscle between his cheeks, his entire body jolted as if struck by lightning.
His sharp intake of breath was followed by a low, trembling moan as his crimson eyes flicked downward, meeting yours. That familiar grin of his began to reappear, albeit strained, but you matched it with one of your own. Slowly, deliberately, you worked your fingers inside, the tight, hot walls clenching around you as you sank deeper.
“Ohhh,” he moaned, his voice pitching higher as his hips began an instinctive, grinding motion against your hand. Each stroke and press of your fingers sent shockwaves through his body, and you couldn’t help but relish the way he cried out your name, breathless and desperate.
“Is this what you missed, Alastor?” you murmured, your voice dripping with sultry amusement. The heat pooling between your thighs was almost unbearable now, your soaked underwear clinging to your skin. You punctuated your question with feather-light kisses along the sensitive curve of his balls, earning another full-body shudder from him.
“D-don’t be ridiculous,” he managed to huff out, though the quiver in his voice betrayed his bravado. His hips bucked against your hand, seeking more, needing you to go harder, deeper, faster. “You—hah—you’re the one who seems to need it more than I do!”
His words faltered into a broken cry as you curled your fingers inside him, pressing directly against his prostate. The reaction was instant—his cock, already half-hard, twitched violently before stiffening completely, precum dripping steadily from the swollen tip. Thin, sticky strands pooled on his stomach, glistening in the dim light.
“I-I c-can smell you,” he groaned, his voice cracking with static as the radio distortion flickered uncontrollably. “I can s-smell your arousal, d-darling.”
His eyes fluttered as he struggled to focus on you, the effort clear in the way his brows furrowed, and his lips parted with ragged breaths. You smiled wickedly, never ceasing the relentless rhythm of your fingers as you leaned in close.
“Is that your way of saying you want me to ride you, Alastor?” you teased, your tone saccharine sweet, as you slowly withdrew your fingers.
The way his ears flattened against his head and his lips pressed together to smother the pitiful whine that escaped him was nothing short of endearing. You straightened up, locking to his gaze as your hands moved to peel away your clothing.
One by one, the layers fell away, revealing more of your heated skin to him. Alastor’s crimson eyes darkened with unrestrained hunger, his slender fingers flying to his cock, stroking himself slowly as he devoured the sight of you. The moment your panties slid down your legs, his attention zeroed in on the dark, damp patch that clung to the fabric.
The sight of how soaked they were made his breath hitch. His grip on his cock tightened, his strokes quickening ever so slightly as he watched you stand before him, completely bare, the evidence of your arousal dripping down your thighs.
Picking up your damp underwear, you held it delicately between your fingers, bringing it close to Alastor’s face. His eyes, smouldering with unrestrained hunger, followed the movement intently. A sly grin curled your lips as you whispered, “Go on. I know you’ve been dying to taste me.”
In the past, he would have resisted—an adamant refusal to entertain such a base desire. But now? Now, his restraint was a distant memory. He eagerly took the fabric from your hand, his sharp grin widening as he pressed it to his lips. His tongue darted out, licking and suckling on the soaked material, his moans vibrating softly into the delicate fabric. He savoured every drop, his eyes fluttering shut as if lost in your essence.
While he indulged, you turned your attention to the drawer by the bed, fingers searching for a specific item. A soft laugh escaped you as you pulled out the toy you’d been looking for—one of his favourites. The memory of the day he wore it, the secret only the two of you shared as he moved through the hotel with it snug inside him, made heat rush to your cheeks.
The anal plug, adorned with curvy ridges and capped with a glittering pink heart at its base, glinted in the low light. Alastor froze mid-lick, his gaze snapping to the toy. His tail, which had been lazily swaying, thumped excitedly against the bed.
You teased him further, holding his gaze as you slowly lowered the plug to your wet core. You pressed the tip to your entrance, coating the ridges in your slick. Alastor’s breath hitched, and a groan slipped past his lips as he watched you pump the toy in and out of yourself, each movement deliberate, each moan of yours feeding his anticipation.
By the time you pulled the toy free, glistening and dripping with your arousal, Alastor had already lifted his legs, spreading them wide to present himself. His sharp grin turned expectant, almost demanding, his crimson eyes glinting with challenge and desire.
You chuckled at his eagerness, running your free hand along the curve of his thigh. “Patience, darling,” you murmured. He squirmed beneath you, his cock twitching against his stomach as you pressed the slick plug against his entrance. Slowly, you began to work it in, the ridges catching slightly against his tight walls before sliding deeper, inch by inch.
Alastor’s breath came out in stuttering gasps, his hands gripping the sheets tightly as the plug seated itself fully to the base. His cock throbbed, a bead of precum trailing down to pool on his stomach. He looked utterly wrecked, his body trembling and his chest heaving as he adjusted to the sensation of fullness.
But you weren’t done. Without giving him a moment to recover, you straddled his hips, gripping his throbbing length and guiding him to your entrance. In one fluid motion, you sank down onto him, taking him to the hilt. His reaction was instant—a sharp gasp, his hands flying to your hips as his back arched off the bed before collapsing again.
The tight heat of you gripping him drove him wild. His cock twitched inside you, sending jolts of pleasure radiating through both your bodies. But your focus wasn’t on his body—it was on his expression. His usually sharp grin softened, his crimson eyes half-lidded and hazy with pleasure. His body trembled beneath yours, the rare vulnerability in him stirring a possessive warmth in your chest.
He hummed low in his throat, a sound of pure, unfiltered delight, as you leaned forward. Pinning his wrists beside his head, you met his gaze, your movements slow at first. Each roll of your hips elicited a delicious tremor from him, his breath climbing with every downward thrust.
“Y-you’re i-insatiable, d-darling,” he managed, his voice trembling as your pace quickened.
You smiled wickedly, increasing the rhythm, the sound of skin meeting skin mingling with his stuttering breaths and deep moans. His sharp cries soon gave way to something softer, more desperate, as his body began to tense beneath you. His head fell back, exposing the long line of his neck as his eyes squeezed shut.
“Look at me, Alastor,” you commanded softly, and his gaze snapped back to yours. The raw, unguarded desire and faint embarrassment in his expression sent a thrill through you. His cries grew louder, his hands flexing against your grip as he reached his peak.
With one final, broken moan, his body shuddered violently beneath yours, his cock twitching as he spilled into you. The hot flood of his release filled you, his seed coating your walls as he gasped for air. His body remained taut for a moment before he melted into the bed, utterly spent, his eyes glazed with lingering satisfaction.
Catching your breath, your body hummed with unresolved need, but it didn’t matter. Watching Alastor surrender beneath you, unravelling with every calculated touch, was pleasure enough.
His lips were parted, a thin line of saliva glistening at the corners as his chest rose and fell in uneven gasps. The edges of his crimson eyes shimmered with unshed tears, and his expression—dazed, undone—was utterly intoxicating. His usual composed veneer had crumbled, leaving him bare in every sense.
A quiet chuckle escaped you as you finally lifted yourself from his trembling form, feeling the warm trickle of his release sliding down your thighs. “We’re not done yet, Al,” you teased, your voice carrying a sing-song lilt. “We still have one more of your favourites, remember?” Reaching for the strap-on, you held it up—a big, crimson silicone cock gleaming in the dim light, its impressive weight resting heavy in your hands.
You caught the way his body tensed, his tail twitching in anticipation, but there were no sharp remarks, no coy retorts. He was beyond that now, surrendering completely. With a sluggish roll, he shifted onto his stomach, his cheek pressing into the bed as his hips lifted, presenting himself to you. His red-and-white tail puffed out and flicked upward, revealing the sparkling jewel of the heart-shaped plug still nestled snugly within him.
“Good boy,” you purred, and his tail wagged weakly in response. His fingers reached back, spreading himself open, stretching his cheeks taut in a silent plea.
You smiled, strapping the harness to your hips, the familiar weight grounding you in this moment. Slowly, deliberately, you began easing the plug from his entrance. Each inch coaxed a muffled whimper from him as he buried his face in the mattress, his body trembling beneath your hands. The resistance gave way, and with a final tug, the jewelled plug slid free, leaving his entrance clenching and exposed.
The sight of him, so open, so needy, sent a surge of heat pooling low in your core. You rested a hand on his hips, guiding the slicked synthetic cock to his waiting entrance. Without hesitation, you thrust forward in one fluid motion, burying yourself to the hilt.
Alastor choked on a cry, his body jolting forward before he melted into the bed, a low, guttural moan spilling from his lips. His claws raked over the blankets, shredding the fabric in a desperate bid for control.
But there was none to be had—not here, not now.
You set a relentless rhythm, your hips snapping forward with precision, filling him over and over. The wet slap of skin meeting skin filled the room, mingling with his muffled cries and the breathless moans you couldn’t suppress. The way his body clenched around you, his walls tightening with every thrust, only spurred you on.
“Ah—ah—darling,” he panted, his voice breaking into a mix of static and white noise as pleasure overwhelmed him. His body arched beneath you, his hips rolling back to meet your thrusts with desperation.
“You like this, don’t you?” you murmured, your breath hot against his ear. “Being filled so completely… You’re so beautiful like this, Al.”
His only response was a shattered moan, his body spasming violently as he came again, thick ropes of his release painting the ruined bed beneath him. But even as his trembling form sagged into the mattress, you didn’t stop.
“Isn’t this fun, Alastor?” you panted, your grin wicked as you leaned over him, your pace unrelenting. “I could do this all night.”
His claws curled into the shredded fabric, his body shaking with overstimulation as he gasped and whimpered beneath you. He was utterly wrecked, undone, every piece of him yours in this moment—and it was everything you had missed.
Your hands slid to either side of his trembling frame, hovering over him as you moved with deliberate intensity. His voice had dissolved into a symphony of broken moans and guttural grunts, his ears pinned flat against his head in a rare display of vulnerability. Leaning closer, your breath ghosted over his ear as you purred, “Let me see your face, Al. Don’t rob me of my pleasure.” Your fingertips traced the back of his head, the touch tender yet insistent.
He shivered at your words, slowly turning his head to meet your gaze. His lips hung open, strands of saliva pooling beneath his cheek. His crimson eyes, distant and unfocused, shimmered with tears that spilled in streaks down his flushed cheeks. And yet, despite his unravelling, the faint trace of a grin lingered—a testament to his unyielding spirit.
“More?” you asked, voice laced with teasing affection. Alastor’s only reply was a low, ragged moan as his hips pressed back against you, silently pleading. A soft chuckle escaped you as your fingers danced down the curve of his spine, drawing a visible shudder from him. “You really are a masochist, aren’t you, Al?” you murmured, your words barely above a whisper.
When his moans faltered into silence, his teeth clenching as he fought to muffle the smallest of whimpers, you knew he’d reached his limit. Carefully, you slowed your movements, easing out of him with a touch as gentle as a whisper. Both of you were coated in a thin sheen of sweat, your breath coming in soft pants as you sat back.
Alastor lay trembling, his body spent and quivering in the aftermath. Every so often, his legs would twitch, jolting with the lingering aftershocks of overstimulation. His hand reached out, trembling and seeking, and you didn’t hesitate to meet it, intertwining your fingers with his. The silent gesture spoke volumes—his need for your warmth, your gentleness, your grounding presence.
With care, you removed the strap-on, setting it aside before sliding into the bed beside him. Your body folded seamlessly into his, your hand cradling his as you pressed a tender kiss to his knuckles. His half-lidded eyes locked onto yours, filled with exhaustion and unspoken affection, unable to look away.
Smiling softly, you lifted his hand, your lips brushing over each finger with reverence. One by one, you kissed his thumb, his index finger, trailing your touch over his palm. The gesture was unhurried, filled with tenderness, as you snuggled closer to him, your lips finding the curve of his shoulder.
A warm chuckle rumbled low in his chest, his voice soft and worn. “Darling,” he rasped, his tone laden with affection as his tail gave a lazy thump against the bed. He sighed deeply, basking in the featherlight kisses that travelled up his neck and over his face. His cheeks, his forehead, his closed eyelids—all received your gentle attention before your lips finally found his.
The kiss lingered, a soft press of emotion and intimacy. When you pulled back, his voice, though hoarse, carried a familiar teasing lilt. “You’ve been far too busy this month,” he murmured, his crimson eyes slowly opening to meet yours.
Your heart swelled, warmed by the rare vulnerability in his gaze. You smoothed back a stray strand of hair from his face, your fingers brushing his skin with care. “I have, haven’t I?” you answered softly. Your lips curved in a tender smile as you leaned down to kiss him again, the touch light, barely there. “I missed you,” you whispered against his lips, your voice thick with sincerity.
He chuckled again, though it was tired and weak. “And yet, you chastise me about your cookies,” he teased, his grin slipping back into place.
“Ruining my cookies,” you corrected with a mock glare, your tone playful.
“You love it when I spice up your – ah – cookies,” he countered, his voice carrying a faint echo of words he’d said long ago—a callback to the early days of trust and intimacy you’d built together.
A soft giggle bubbled from your lips as you pressed your forehead against his, your eyes brimming with affection for the cunning, mischievous demon you adored. “You’re such a silly man,” you whispered, nuzzling your nose against his.
His arms came around you, pulling you tightly against his chest. The steady rhythm of his heartbeat under your ear was a comforting reminder of the unspoken bond you shared. In that quiet moment, you held each other close, the world beyond forgotten. Only the warmth of his body and the soft hum of his love remained.
“And you, my darling, are my special girl,” he murmured, his voice a tender caress against the quiet of the room. He pressed a lingering kiss to the top of your head, his lips warm and soft. Slowly, his breathing steadied, each exhale becoming longer, deeper, until it melted into the gentle rhythm of sleep.
You stayed there, cradled in his embrace, feeling the rise and fall of his chest beneath your cheek. A gentle smile tugged at your lips as your fingers traced small, absent-minded patterns along his side. The warmth of his words lingered in your heart, a balm to the chaos and distance of recent days.
As you listened to the quiet thrum of his heartbeat, you made a silent promise to yourself. Next time, you’d find ways to give him the attention he deserved, to show him how much he meant to you—perhaps even preempt whatever mischievous “spicing up” he might dream up to draw your focus.
For now, though, your heart felt full, brimming with love and contentment. Snuggling closer to him, you let yourself be enveloped in his warmth, your body fitting perfectly against his. The steady cadence of his heart matched your own, the two rhythms intertwining as if they were always meant to be.
You closed your eyes, a peaceful smile lingering on your lips. Wrapped in his arms, you let sleep claim you, your dreams filled with the love you shared and the quiet promise of all the moments yet to come.

This scene is so interesting to me for a number of reasons, but I want to talk about the eggs and how he said he finds them "off-putting". Now, Stolas is an owl, and like most birds of prey they can and often do eat the eggs of other birds (don't worry Blitz, it isn't cannibalism unless they eat eggs of their own species). So theoretically, eggs shouldn't actually be a problem and it's not like there aren't plenty of fancy foods that involve eggs.
But maybe it's not that deep, and has nothing to do with non-gourmet quality food. Maybe our heavily autistic-coded owl just has an aversion to a lot of breakfast foods. The texture of various types of cooked eggs, in particular, can be quite contentious even for people who aren't neurodivergent, but if you do have texture sensitivities then eggs can be a huge gamble.
The expression on his face in the shot above is exactly the one I'd make if someone tried to make me eat most egg-based dishes, and then I'd probably gag the second it was in my mouth, spit it out, and shudder through the visceral desire to claw my way out of my own skin.
Yeah, kinda like that lol.
Rodents, koi fish, and kale salads are probably safer foods, because there's less ways to cook them and he had a professional chef that would be able to do it the exact same way every time. They definitely are more expensive specialty foods though, so I'm glad he and Blitz were able to find a compromise with regular rats.
And I'm glad that Blitz didn't try to shame Stolas for his food preferences, especially because Stolas looks so awkward and embarrassed just saying them out loud. If he's anything like a lot of autistic folks, he was probably berated for being a picky eater, because even if in his own home with his own staff he could control what was served to him, the same cannot be said for anywhere else that required him to eat something lest he come off as rude. Blitz just takes it in stride though and simply asks about alternatives to vole and kale, because he definitely cannot afford that on a regular basis. And Stolas doesn't make a fuss about it, just tentatively admits that he also likes rats, which Blitz is more than happy to accommodate. Yes, what he offers is back alley feral rats, but Stolas doesn't seem put off by that or demand better quality, he's just alarmed and disturbed by Blitz having his fucking eye chewed on by one.
As someone with a lot of food hypersensitivities, it means a lot to me that Blitz doesn't accuse him of being spoiled or complain about Stolas needing a different diet than him or Loona. It often is hard to accommodate alternative dietary needs - be they because of food sensitivities, allergies, intolerances, or vegan/vegetarianism - when you're on a budget, but Blitz doesn't mind and jumps straight to a non-judgmental "what can you eat?" planning mode.
Like yeah, on the surface his answer to Blitz's initial "so what do you normally eat?" question and the way he gagged from a single, tiny bite of eggs does make him seem kinda spoiled. But his completely unhesitant, unbothered willingness to eat feral fucking rats says to me it wasn't about the fact that he now has to eat "poor people" food prepared by a novice chef, but rather that something about those foods in particular is hard for him to eat in general.
Just one more thing to add to the ever-growing pile of "Stolas is autistic!!" evidence, I guess. And just one more reason why I absolutely adore Blitz.

A positive I want to call out about this moment is that Colin never assumes he can tell Penelope what to do. "Are you going to stop publishing?" His wish is clear in that question, but he doesn't demand. He never presumed he had the power to force her to stop. Though legally he could stop her. Married, she is his property. And all her money and even her published words are his property.
And even after she doesn't answer the question in the way he would like, he still can't make the demand to stop. He just says, "let's get married then WE will figure it out."
Honestly, that is hugely hopeful. The marriage Penelope grew up under was never "WE" on any decision. So the fact that in the absolute height of his hurt, where he can't even be in her presence, Colin says "WE" is enough.
Hell, that WE is more than Debling was offering in the height of his admiration for Penelope. Debling flat our rejected love and talked about "your interests" and his interests, completely separate lives.
I wish we could have lingered on some of these consequential dialogue moments. Most of us were so angry at the entrapment line, that we really didn't get to sit with this moment of equality and openness that Colin simply cannot turn off no matter how much armor he throws on. Just compare this to the Cressida's betrothal offer and how matter of factly he planned to control every aspect of her life.
Let us get through this wedding, and then we will decide what this marriage will be.

"Crossed Wishes at Christmas"
Benny was a typical seventeen-year-old teenager, immature and somewhat stubborn. He was always in conflict with his parents, who insisted on keeping rules he considered absurd. His biggest frustration was not having the freedom to make his own decisions, especially when it came to hanging out with his friends or attending parties.
Although his life wasn’t particularly complicated, Benny felt trapped in a limbo between childhood and adulthood. His days were filled with school, video games, and attempts to catch the attention of a girl in his class he liked. However, behind his confident facade, Benny often felt insecure, desperately wishing to grow up and be treated like an adult.
In his family, Benny viewed the adults with a certain resentment, especially his uncle Valentín, the husband of his aunt Nath. While Valentín always seemed kind, Benny considered him boring, a man stuck in the responsibilities and monotony of adult life.
Valentín, forty-two years old, was an educated, calm, and reserved man. He had built a stable life with his wife Nath, but under that orderly and mature appearance hid a series of regrets that had haunted him since his youth.
During his adolescence, Valentín had grown up in a strict household where his parents controlled every aspect of his life. This had led him to suppress many of his emotions and desires, including his sexual orientation. He never allowed himself to be completely free, and although he had learned to live with that emptiness, he secretly wished he had made better use of his youth.
For Valentín, adulthood was a burden he bore with resignation. He envied his nephew Benny’s carefree attitude, although he also considered him an immature young man who couldn't appreciate what he had. Yet, beneath that criticism lay an unspoken connection: both shared the desire to live something different, though from opposite extremes.
Unknowingly, both were destined to discover what it truly meant to walk in the other’s shoes. And that Christmas, their wishes would change their lives forever.
From Benny’s perspective Christmas Eve had never been my favorite day. This year, even less. Everyone was in a good mood, but I couldn’t stop thinking about the party I was missing. My parents, with their absurd rules, had decided it was better to spend it with family than let me be with my friends. It wasn’t fair. I was seventeen, tired of being treated like a child, and on top of that, my Uncle Valentín kept looking at me as if all this was just a childish tantrum.
"When you’re an adult, you’ll see that this isn’t so important," he said in a patronizing tone that drove me crazy. I ignored him and focused on the one exciting part of the night: the moment to make a wish.
When it was my turn, I closed my eyes and made it with all my might: I want to be an adult. I want to stop following absurd rules.
From Valentín’s perspective I watched my nephew Benny as he made his wish by the tree. His frustration reminded me so much of myself at his age. But unlike him, I never dared to rebel. I always obeyed, always did what was expected of me, and that cost me living my adolescence and youth the way I truly wanted. I was a forty-two-year-old man trapped in a life that wasn’t entirely mine.
When it was my turn, I closed my eyes and wished for something I’d never say out loud: I want to be young again. I want another chance to live without fear.
From Benny’s perspective Christmas morning came with little excitement. I went downstairs, expecting the gifts I knew I would get: a new video game, probably some clothes, and maybe some money. But then I noticed a strange package, wrapped in shiny paper with a perfect red bow.
"Is this from you?" I asked my parents, lifting it curiously. They shook their heads, just as surprised as I was.
I went upstairs to my room with the package, eager to discover what it contained. When I opened it, I found clothes that weren’t for me: shirts, pants, even a yoga short. At the bottom, there was a note: "Sometimes, a new reflection shows you what you really need." I ignored it, thinking someone had made a mistake, but something about the clothes intrigued me.
From Valentín’s perspective Christmas at home with Nath was pleasant but routine. While she opened her gifts, my thoughts wandered until I noticed a strange package under the tree. The label simply read: "For Valentín."
I opened the gift, expecting something from her, but what I found left me confused: youthful clothes that weren’t my style or size. There were basic t-shirts, skinny jeans, and a pair of sneakers. Inside the box, a note read: "What you desire, you already have in front of you, but are you ready to take it?"
When I asked Nath if it was from her, she denied it with a puzzled smile. Something about the gift made me nervous, but I couldn’t resist the curiosity.
From Benny’s perspective I decided to try on the clothes, even though it didn’t make sense. I put on a dress shirt and some pants that were a bit too big. I looked at myself in the mirror, trying to imagine how I would look as an adult.
Suddenly, a strange sensation spread through my body. My legs grew weak, and a suffocating heat rose from my chest. I felt my arms and torso expand, my face changing. When I finally looked up, I saw something that chilled me to the bone: my Uncle Valentín’s face was staring back at me.
From Valentín’s perspective After hesitating for a while, I decided to try on the t-shirt and jeans. Although I felt ridiculous, I looked at myself in the mirror, trying to imagine what it would be like to be young again.
Then, a strange tingling started in my fingers and spread throughout my body. I felt my skin tighten, my height shrink, and my muscles transform. When it was over, I looked up and saw a teenager in the mirror. A teenager with my nephew Benny’s face.
From both points of view In our respective rooms, we looked at ourselves in the mirror, stunned. Benny, trapped in my Uncle Valentín’s body, touched the beard that now covered his face, unable to believe what was happening. Valentín, fascinated by his new smooth skin and youthful hair, smiled in disbelief.
"This can’t be happening," we muttered in unison. But it was. We had changed.
From Benny’s perspective
I was sitting on the bed, looking at the unfamiliar hands that were now mine. They were big, rough, and had a couple of scars I didn’t recognize. Every time I looked up at the mirror, I saw my Uncle Valentín’s face staring back at me with eyes full of confusion. It felt surreal, like being trapped in an absurd science fiction movie.
The phone’s ring broke my trance. When I answered, I heard my own voice on the other end of the line, but it wasn’t me talking. It was my Uncle Valentín, now trapped in my body.
"Benny, it’s me... your Uncle Valentín. We need to talk."
The conversation was awkward at first, with long pauses and hesitations, but we eventually broke the ice. He explained that he was also dealing with the shock, and that it was urgent we meet to understand what was happening.
"For now, I can’t explain this to Nath… to your aunt," Valentín sighed. "It’s too surreal. But we need to talk in person."
"My aunt Nath? My wife now?" I replied, feeling a knot in my stomach. The idea of being married to my own aunt was horrifying. "This is... this is a nightmare."
We both agreed that this had something to do with the wishes we made the night before. But why us? Why our bodies? These were unanswered questions, and the only clear thing was that we needed to talk face to face. Valentín promised he’d be here in a few minutes.
From Valentín’s perspective Leaving the house without Nath suspecting anything was tricky. I told her I was going for a walk to clear my mind, and although she seemed a little suspicious, she didn’t insist. I took the opportunity to leave the house.
On my way to Benny’s house, something unexpected happened. A young guy, probably one of his friends, recognized me. Well, he recognized Benny… or rather, Benny’s body.
"Hey, Benny! Are you coming to the gathering today? We could have some fun, you know?" he said with a tone I could only interpret as flirtatious.
My heart raced. Was this normal in my nephew’s life? I forced a smile, trying to act like he would. "I’m not sure. Maybe... we’ll see."
The guy nodded and waved goodbye, while I continued my way, a mix of discomfort and curiosity running through me. It was strange to receive that kind of attention, but also… exciting, in a way. I shook my head to focus on what mattered: meeting with Benny and figuring this out.
From Benny’s perspective While I waited, I tried to stay quiet so my parents wouldn’t notice anything odd. The idea of someone coming in and seeing me in this body was terrifying. To distract myself, I looked at the mirror and observed every detail.
My Uncle Valentín’s body was more imposing than I had imagined. His arms were strong, his torso well-defined, and there were tattoos hidden in unexpected places. I didn’t know him well enough to imagine he had that rebellious side. Had he been a heartthrob in his youth? I wondered.
Suddenly, the door opened, and there I was... well, my body, but with Valentín inside. We both stayed silent for a moment, just staring at each other. It was like seeing a bizarre version of ourselves in third person.
"This... is crazy," I finally said, breaking the silence.
"No crazier than the fact that now I have your life, and you have mine," Valentín replied.
We both sat down, trying to process the impossible. We had swapped bodies, and our lives were completely upside down.

Merry Christmas, Eddie! (fem!reader x eddie munson)
Summary: Eddie comes to meet your family for Christmas but he thinks it didn't go very well, and you're sitting at the table with your family and you're teasing Eddie with your foot under the table. 🎄
Words: 4,170
ao3 link dividers by @strangergraphics
You’re waiting at the door with excitement. The mouthwatering aroma of golden roasted turkey wafts through the air. The cinnamon scent of your grandmother’s pumpkin pie has completely taken over the kitchen. Everything feels so warm and perfect, like a scene straight out of a Christmas movie. Yet, your heart flutters because Eddie is coming. This Christmas will be different—your boyfriend Eddie is meeting your family.
The doorbell rings. Your heart skips a beat, and you try to steady your excitement. Taking a deep breath, you open the door. And there he is; Eddie, his cheeks faintly flushed from the falling snow, standing there with a big bouquet of flowers and a shy smile. He’s wearing his leather jacket, but the red plaid shirt underneath gives him a festive touch. His hair is slightly messy, as usual, but the way he holds the flowers makes the whole look irresistibly sweet, and you can’t help but smile.
“Hey,” he says in a slightly bashful voice. His eyes meet yours for a moment before darting to the bouquet in his hands. “I brought these for your mom…” At that moment, you notice his cheeks turning even redder. Eddie’s shy demeanor warms your heart. “Eddie, that’s wonderful! Come in, you must be freezing out there,” you say, grabbing his arm and pulling him inside. As he steps in, he pauses for a moment to take a deep breath. The soft golden glow of the Christmas lights illuminates the living room, and the presents under the decorated tree look like something out of a postcard. But Eddie is only looking at you.
“This place is really... beautiful,” he says, his eyes filled with gratitude. He takes off his leather jacket and hands it to you.
You guide Eddie to the living room. As he walks slowly, you notice his shoulders are slightly tense. He’s gripping the bouquet tightly, as if afraid that one wrong move might ruin everything. The warmth of the room and the sweet smells from the kitchen seem to ease him a bit, but you can still see the nervousness on his face.
But this is Eddie—sweet, genuine Eddie. You’re sure everyone will love him instantly, though your heart continues to flutter with anticipation.
“Mom, Dad, Eddie’s here!” you call out a little louder than usual. Even though you try to control your voice, your excitement seeps through. Your mom immediately steps out of the kitchen, wearing her usual welcoming smile. Your dad gets up from his seat and walks toward Eddie. Your grandmother glances over her glasses at Eddie, offering a slight smile of approval.
Eddie takes a deep breath, clearly nervous, and holds out the bouquet. “These are for you, ma’am,” he says. His voice carries its usual soft tone, but you catch a slight tremor in it. Your mom’s eyes light up as she looks at the flowers. “Eddie, that’s so thoughtful! Thank you, they’re absolutely lovely,” she says, taking the bouquet and heading to the kitchen to place them in a vase.
“Hi, Mr.—uh, sir,” Eddie stammers, extending his hand to your dad.
“Hello, Eddie. It’s nice to finally meet you.” Finally, you turn towards your grandmother. Eddie leans in gently and greets her, while your grandmother looks at him with that sweet, wise smile. “So this is the handsome young man who makes you smile so much, huh?” she says, turning to you. Eddie’s cheeks instantly flush bright red, but your grandmother’s warm demeanor melts his nervousness.
“It's a pleasure to meet you,” he says, extending his hand to your grandmother. As you watch this scene from the corner, your thoughts fluctuate between Eddie's sweet nervousness and your family's warm reception of him. You're excited, a little anxious, but seeing Eddie’s efforts warms your heart. Deep down, you think, Everything is going to be okay. Eddie is amazing, and my family will see that.
Eddie comes over to you and whispers, “Not a bad start, right?” There’s still a trace of nervousness in his eyes.
But you smile and say, “You were amazing.” Gently squeezing his hand, you add, “This is your home now, too.”
As you sit down at the dining table, the candles in the center glow softly, their light blending with the red-and-gold ornaments adorning the Christmas tree. With the faint sound of soft music in the background, you all begin to enjoy dinner together. But even this sweet atmosphere doesn’t completely erase the tension on Eddie’s face. He hides his hands under the table, his fingers almost clasped together.
Your mother’s first question breaks the peaceful moment. “Eddie, where do you live, dear?” Her voice is kind but carries a natural curiosity.
Eddie lowers his head slightly, as if concealing something. He takes a deep breath and runs his hand through his hair. “I live with my uncle,” he says. You can hear the nervousness in his voice. “In a trailer park.”
His words hang in the air for a moment. The faint clink of your father setting his wine glass on the table is the only sound breaking the silence in the room. Your grandmother, however, avoids delving deeper into the topic and offers Eddie a sweet smile. “A trailer, huh? Sounds quite adventurous compared to the dullness of city apartments,” she says.
But then your father asks the next question. “And what about work? What do you do for a living, Eddie?” At this, Eddie’s shoulders tense again.
He places his hands on his knees and briefly lowers his gaze. “I’m working as a bartender right now,” he says, his voice softening. Then, hurriedly, he adds, “But I also help my uncle sometimes. He’s a car mechanic. So, when there’s work… I help him out.”
As he pieces his words together, you notice the hesitation and a hint of defensiveness in his tone. His eyes quickly scan the faces around the table, gauging how your family is receiving his answers.
Your mother listens thoughtfully to what Eddie says, but your father frowns slightly, taking another sip of his wine.
Just when you think he’s about to say something, your grandmother speaks again, continuing to smile warmly at Eddie. “Working is always good for a young man,” she says, as if trying to reassure him.
Eddie nods slightly as if feeling a bit more at ease, but you notice that he’s still hiding his hands under the table. It’s as though he feels like he hasn’t done enough. Just then, your mother brings up the most delicate topic: “So, Eddie, do you have any plans for college? You know, our daughter is starting university this year. That’s a whole new excitement in itself.”
This question casts a slight shadow over Eddie’s face. He hesitates for a moment, as if he’d give anything to avoid answering. His eyes shift to you, but there’s a trace of embarrassment in his gaze. Finally, he takes a deep breath and begins to speak.
“Well… I didn’t go to college. Actually…” He shrugs with a faint smile, but it leaves a bittersweet impression. “Even graduating high school was a big achievement for me. I mean… I did think about college, but…” He pauses, clearing his throat for a moment. “Our financial situation didn’t really allow it. And… to be honest, I wasn’t even sure what I wanted.” His eyes drift back to the table, but this time his voice comes out with more resolve: “But I love what I do. I manage to get by somehow. And… I think I’m happy enough for now.”
After these words, there’s a brief moment of silence in the room. You can see in Eddie’s eyes just how small he feels while explaining his work and his life.
At that moment, your grandmother steps in, surprising everyone with a hearty laugh. “I didn’t go to college either, Eddie. Life finds its meaning no matter which path you take in the end. It’s clear that you’ve carved your own way, and not everyone can do that.” She winks at Eddie.
Eddie gives you a quick glance, gratitude evident in his eyes. You find his hand under the table and squeeze it gently, letting your fingers trace softly around his palm. This small but powerful gesture needs no words. It’s as if you’re saying, I’m here, you’re not alone.
Sensing Eddie’s nervousness, your grandmother tries to change the subject. “So, Eddie, do you like Christmas?” she asks, adding a light, joking tone to her voice. “It’s one of the best times for us because we all get to be together. Everyone sees Christmas differently; I’m curious about your take on it.”
Eddie seems a bit more at ease with your grandmother’s gentle question. “Yes, I do like Christmas,” he says with a slight smile. “I mean, we don’t usually have big celebrations, but being somewhere like this this year… well, it feels really special.”
Your grandmother nods. “That feeling is what matters,” she says. “Life isn’t always about the big things; it’s about appreciating the little moments.” Eddie nods softly in agreement with her words.
But your father… your father doesn’t hesitate to break the sweet moment. He takes a sip of his wine, setting the glass down as he throws his question into the air. “Eddie, do you have a plan for moving forward in life? I mean, are you just planning to stick with bartending, or is there something else you’re aiming for?”
This question makes Eddie feel cornered again. As he tries to clasp his hands together under the table, you gently run your fingers around his palm again, trying to support him. But when Eddie begins to speak, his voice trembles slightly.
“For now, I love what I do,” he says, hesitantly. “But of course, I want to see what else I can do in the future. Maybe work at a bigger bar, or… maybe something else. I don’t really know yet, but I’m doing the best I can for now.”
“Life doesn’t move forward by just living in the moment, Eddie,” your father says, his tone carrying a hint of sternness. “If you don’t have a plan, you’ll always end up staying in the same place. Especially… if you’re in a relationship.” His eyes shift to you for a moment, and you can feel the discomfort his indirect remark causes within you.
The table has been cleared, the plates put away, but the scent of the meal still lingers in the air. Your grandmother has fallen asleep in the armchair next to the Christmas tree, her blanket gently rising and falling with her soft breaths. Your father is in the bathroom washing his hands, and apart from the faint clinking sounds your mother makes in the kitchen while tending to the desserts, the house is quiet. A Christmas song still plays softly in the background.
You and Eddie are sitting across from each other at the table. Eddie is leaning slightly forward, elbows on the table, and gently massaging his forehead with his fingers. Without lifting his eyes to you, he whispers, “Tonight was terrible,” his voice low and fragile. You notice the deep crease between his brows. “Your dad… he didn’t like me, did he?”
His words seem to drop the room’s warmth by a few degrees. It bothers you to see him feeling this way. You place a hand on his arm, your fingers lightly grasping the fabric of his shirt. “Eddie, no,” you whisper back. “Don’t think like that. He’s just… a difficult man. But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t like you.”
Eddie tilts his head slightly, his eyes meeting yours for a brief moment. But his gaze quickly drops back to the table’s surface, as if he’s not entirely convinced by what you said. “Come on,” he says, with a bittersweet smile. “He interrogated me all night. I know he secretly looked down on me for living in a trailer park and working as a bartender. When he thinks about us being together… he probably thinks I’m not good enough for you.”
There’s a vulnerability in Eddie’s voice; seeing this softer side beneath his usual tough and carefree demeanor makes your heart ache. You tilt your head slightly and take his hand, squeezing his fingers gently. “Eddie, you’re not beneath anyone,” you say firmly. “Neither my dad nor anyone else can change that. You’re the one who makes me happy no matter what. That’s the only thing that matters.”
Eddie presses his lips together and nods, but his face still doesn’t fully reflect reassurance. His eyes wander to the Christmas tree, where the glowing ornaments reflect light into his pupils. “I just… I just wanted tonight to go well,” he says, his voice barely louder than a whisper. “Your grandma is amazing. Your mom is so kind… But your dad… I feel like I’ll never get along with him.”
This isn’t the first time you’ve had to remind him that you’re by his side. You do so again now, continuing to hold his hands as you smile softly. “Stop worrying about it. You’re here tonight, and that means everything to me. And you know what? My dad might take some time to realize how amazing you are. But he will realize it in the end.”
A small smile appears on Eddie’s face. “I hope you’re right,” he says, taking a deep breath. “Because… because I love you so much. And… I don’t want things to be bad between me and your family.”
You lean in slightly and whisper softly, “I love you too, Eddie.” When you squeeze his fingers, he gently squeezes back. Maybe tonight isn’t perfect, but you’re here with him. And for him, that’s reason enough.
You can clearly see the worry and hesitation in his eyes. In that moment, everything feels frozen in time—the warm light in the room, the serenity emanating from the Christmas tree, the faint sound of Christmas music, and the silence in which you can almost feel Eddie’s heartbeat.
You lean forward and press a light kiss to his lips. Eddie’s eyes widen in surprise immediately. “Someone will see,” he whispers, his voice filled with panic, but he makes no move to push you away. You bite your lip and give him a sweet smile. “Then we better be quick,” you say with a playful tone.
Eddie’s face flushes red, but you lean in again, this time letting the kiss linger a little longer. As your lips press gently against his, Eddie’s hesitant touch gradually softens. His fingers shift slightly in your palm, as if he doesn’t want to let you go.
“Really?” he mutters in between, his voice slightly shaky but unable to stop himself from smiling. His face is so sweetly flushed that it’s almost impossible not to kiss him again. Eddie, almost unconsciously, leans closer to you, though his eyes keep darting toward your grandmother’s armchair or the kitchen doorway. “Someone could walk in at any moment,” he warns, but as he says it, he pulls you closer.
“And that’s a risk I’m willing to take,” you reply, teasingly. You deepen the kiss, and Eddie’s cautious demeanor slowly gives way to a relaxed surrender. He releases your hands and places them on your shoulders, though there’s still a hint of shyness in his touch.
Just then, a noise in the background catches both of your attention. You pull apart abruptly, panicking as though you’ve been caught red-handed. Eddie’s face turns bright red, and he runs a hand through his hair. “I… uh… it’s a bit warm in here, isn’t it?” he mumbles, his voice tinged with a faint laugh.
Your mother peeks her head out from the kitchen doorway. “The desserts are almost ready. Eddie, do you like pie?” she asks. Eddie quickly collects himself and replies, “Of course, I do,” though only you can detect the slight tremble in his voice.
When your mother disappears back into the kitchen, Eddie turns to you and lets out a deep breath. “If you do that again, I might have a heart attack,” he says, but the glint in his eyes and the faint smile on his face make you think the risk was worth it. And you had so much fun with it that you decided to keep pushing his limits and making the night a little more exciting.
As your mother places a large slice of pie topped with cream in front of Eddie, she smiles and says, “I hope you like pumpkin pie, Eddie.” Eddie nods politely and thanks her, his eyes fixed on the dessert in front of him.
Everyone at the table starts eating their desserts. You notice that Eddie still seems a little uneasy, and that tiny mischievous urge inside you kicks in. Suddenly, you stretch your foot under the table and touch his leg. Eddie freezes mid-bite, the fork hovering in front of his mouth. He raises his eyebrows slightly and glances at you, trying to stay composed.
You slowly move your foot upward, the fabric of his pants brushing against your toes. The veins on Eddie’s neck become faintly visible.
Just then, Eddie suddenly starts coughing. He puts down his fork and reaches for his water glass, hastily taking a few sips. “Oh, Eddie, are you okay?” your mother asks with concern.
Your father, meanwhile, furrows his brow and looks at Eddie carefully, as if trying to figure out what’s going on. Eddie waves a hand while drinking his water, signaling that he’s fine, but the slight flush on his face betrays him.
At that moment, you move your foot a little higher, lightly touching his thigh. Eddie’s eyes widen dramatically, and he reflexively bumps his knee against the table.
The sound echoes through the room, and everyone pauses for a moment. Your parents both stare at Eddie in surprise.
“Oh, uh… uh…” Eddie stammers, scratching his neck nervously as he scrambles to come up with an explanation. He shoots you a quick glance, frowning slightly while also pursing his lips. His voice quivers a little as he speaks. “I think… uh, I got a cramp in my foot,” he says hastily, though his tone isn’t very convincing.
Your father raises an eyebrow and leans slightly toward Eddie. “A cramp?” he asks. Eddie looks even more cornered.
Eddie quickly nods. “I’m fine now.” He sneaks another glance at you, his eyes carrying a silent warning. But you can see the faintest hint of a smile tugging at the corner of his lips. The fact that he can’t take you too seriously and his nervous reaction only amuse you further.
Your mother seems to accept Eddie’s explanation with a shrug, but your father continues to scrutinize him, as if not fully buying the excuse. Noticing your father’s gaze, Eddie picks up his water glass again and takes another small sip.
When Eddie notices the touch on his leg continuing, a clear panic flashes in his eyes. As your foot slowly moves up from his knee under the table, Eddie seems to lose his breath. He grips his fork a little tighter, as if trying to focus all his attention on the dessert. But he fails, because you keep testing his limits.
Just then, your mother turns to Eddie with a sweet smile. “Eddie, do you like pie?” she asks. Eddie’s face turns crimson, as though it’s on fire, but he tries to compose himself, nodding quickly. “Yes, yes! It’s great. Uh, I mean, delicious,” he murmurs, though his voice cracks a little.
He glances at you quickly, his warm brown eyes almost pleading silently for you to stop. But, of course, you don’t. As your foot grazes his thigh, you innocently take another bite of your dessert, chewing calmly.
At that moment, your father cuts in. “Do you have your own car?” he asks, his tone carrying the usual interrogative edge. Eddie’s mouth opens, but he struggles to answer. As your foot slowly moves higher along the fabric of his pants, Eddie stares into the distance for a moment, seemingly unable to gather his words.
“Uh… uh… My car? I’ve got an old van. And a motorcycle,” he stammers, his voice breaking even more. He shoots you another glance, his eyes now clearly screaming, “You’re killing me.” But you’re still enjoying yourself, looking at him with a faint smile as your foot inches higher.
Your mother doesn’t seem entirely satisfied with his answer but still offers him a kind smile. “A motorcycle, huh? I hope you wear a helmet. There are so many bad drivers in this town,” she says. Eddie is about to respond when your foot lightly brushes the top of his thigh. At that moment, his hand trembles briefly, and his fork clatters onto the table. Clink!
“Oh, uh, sorry! Excuse me,” Eddie says hastily, leaning down to pick up the fork. But the look on his face clearly shows he’s reaching his limit. When he looks back at you, his lips are tightly pursed, and his eyes seem to scold you silently. Yet the sweet blush on his cheeks and the barely suppressed smile make the situation even funnier.
Your father raises an eyebrow, looking at Eddie. “Everything okay, Eddie? You seem a bit tense.” Eddie nods quickly, but his voice is still shaky. “No, no! I’m fine, perfectly fine!” he insists.
As your parents fall silent for a moment and look at Eddie, you continue eating your dessert innocently. Eddie takes a deep breath and discreetly reaches under the table, trying to nudge your foot away. But you’re having too much fun to give up so easily. Eddie’s eyes widen once more, as if to say, What are you doing?, but your father interrupts again with another question.
“So, Eddie, what’s it like living in a caravan? Comfortable?” your father asks. Eddie looks even more cornered. “Oh, yes, yes… Very comfortable!” he says, but his voice is so high-pitched that no one seems to take him seriously.
Just then, as your foot slides a little higher, Eddie’s knee hits the table again. A loud bam! echoes, and everyone’s eyes turn back to Eddie.
“Ah! Uh… uh… uh…” Eddie waves his hands, desperately trying to come up with something. “This time, I really did get a cramp in my foot! It happens to me all the time, you know? I think it’s the weather… Yes, yes… The weather change.”
While he panics and glances at you, your mother and father exchange puzzled looks but don’t question him further.
Eddie lets out a nervous chuckle, murmuring, "I need some air. I think I ate too much dessert." He quickly leaves the table and steps outside.
You follow him and find him on the porch, staring up at the night sky. A smile forms on your face and you say, "I'm sorry, I couldn't resist. But your reactions were so funny!"
Eddie turns to you, his eyes shining with love and appreciation. "I know, it was hilarious," he says, laughing. "But you should have seen your dad's look! I almost had a heart attack."
You both laugh and stand in silence for a moment, simply enjoying each other's presence. Then Eddie takes your hand and says, "I was really worried. I thought your father didn't approve of me."
You squeeze his hand and say, "I know, my love. But that's just how my dad is. He's wary of everyone, especially those close to me."
"But do you think he will come to like me?" Eddie asks, his voice still laced with uncertainty.
"Of course, he will," you reply confidently. "You just have to give him some time. He'll see, just like I did, how wonderful you are."
Eddie smiles and pulls you close. "I hope you're right," he says and kisses you gently. "Because I want a future with you, and that future includes your family."
As you kiss, you hear a cough behind you. Turning around, you see your father standing on the porch. His face is serious, but you can also sense a softness in his eyes.
"Eddie," your father says. "Can I talk to you for a moment?"
Eddie tenses up, but you hold his hand tightly. "Sure, sir," Eddie says and follows your father into the house.
You wait anxiously for a while. Then your father and Eddie return to the porch. Both have smiles on their faces. Your father approaches you and says, "You were right. Eddie is a good kid. I'm looking forward to getting to know him better."
Eddie's face lights up and he hugs you. "See, I told you everything would be alright," he whispers in your ear.
That night, you say goodbye to your family and return home with Eddie. As you drive, you hold Eddie's hand and feel a sense of peace in your heart. You know everything is going to be alright. You love Eddie, and your family will come to love him too. And that's enough for a happy ending.

title: “The Tension Between Us: 19+ version.”
december 22nd, 2024.
————————————————————————————
nanami kento x reader.
- black reader. (anyone can read, but emphasis on black.)
- 19+. (NO MINORS, only 19+)
————————————————————————————
“nanami, are you teasing me?” you ask him with a smile as he continue to catch your breath.
he opens his eyes and they linger down your face, to your neck, and finally your chest as it rises. he couldn’t help himself, it was getting harder and harder for him to stand here and do nothing to the most stunning piece of art that landed into his fingerprints.
“absolutely.”
you can’t help but crack a small smirk at his blunt and honest response.
“at least be easy with me..” you tease back with your head tilted slightly, and eyes still not looking away from his brown ones; standing your ground still.
his eyes finally look past your chest and up into your own. “aren’t i always?” he gently traces small circles along your ass cheeks.
you smile widely, your small dimple on your right cheek finally breaking through. “you remember what happened last time..”
“you sure you can handle this, honey.” you couldn’t help but chuckle softly at your own response, considering nanami’s face changed almost immediately after.
he remembered the night unfortunately, and though he only lasted a few seconds, he remembered the intoxicating moment like no other. the tightness around your skin, and how only half of him could fit inside. regardless, the outcome was the same.
“it-“ he pauses. “it wasn’t entirely my fault.” he eyes grow destined for the moment to happen again after remembering it in full. the bulge in his pants already making it difficult for him to breathe.
“honey~“ you chuckle and he quickly interrupts you.
“no~” he mocks you, which makes you smile even more. “don’t honey me.”
“you couldn’t even fit all of me inside, sweetheart.” his voice was soft and whisper like, and it distracted you from him backing you up to the back of the front door.
“nanami i was-“
he interrupts you once again, his eyes completely full of lust and love now. “it made it a bit difficult to last, even then.. look at you. how long do i truly need my love?”
you gaze into his eyes and listen to his response closely, however, all you can think about was that day. that night..
“are you blaming it on me?” you ask him with a smirk.
“absolutely not.” he says with no hesitation, and continues to push you against the door. once you make it there fully he moves his hands from your back and bring them to your hips; tracing the curves of your body on each side.
“i came a bit earlier than we both would’ve liked..” he starts. “so let me show you that i wont. let me show you that i can last (y/n).”
you knew that he only called you by your name when he truly wanted something, needed it so dearly. and he knew that you wouldn’t say no. and though he had that one thing that could control you so easily, you loved it. just the sound of your name leaving his lips. though to everyone else it sounded exactly the same, it sounded completely different to you.
before you can respond however, he moves his head lower down to your level; and since you were already slightly tall, it made things easier. he places his head in the crook of your neck and gently whispers into your ear, his lips purposefully touching your skin as he did so.
“i want this.” his hands find their way to your backside again, and he gives your cheeks a gentle squeeze. you can’t help but arch your back and let out a small hitch of breath in reaction to his sudden action.
“nana~mi.” the last syllable of his name had a slight moan added onto it as he gently glided his tongue along the side of your neck. you weren’t sure where this boldness came from, but you loved every second of it.
he slowly places a few kisses up along the now wet trail along your neck. his hands move from your backside and instead go up to hold your now arched back and pulls you in more.
he then pulls his head away and connects his eyes with yours again. however, he doesn’t go too far, he lets the tip of his nose run along your face. feeling the bumps and grooves he knew all too well.
“let me show you that i can make you moan-” he pauses in his speaking and movement, moving his lips over to yours. he gently bites your lower one before continuing.
“louder than they can make you laugh.”
he lean into his bite, arching your back fully now, wanting him to now taste you fully. he had you. right where he needed you, and you knew it. you couldn’t do anything less but to give in.
“let’s go do it then.” you finally let out, your heartbeat beginning to beat a bit faster than the few seconds before.
he lets out a small scoff and moves his lips away from yours now, which made you a bit saddened but nonetheless curious.
“why walk upstairs in those heels, and hurt your pretty feet, when i can have you here?” he asked, but it came out more like a statement. he pulls his head away from yours a bit more and slowly turns your body around, so that you faced the front door now.
you eyes were now aligned with the small round opening on the front door. you could see the dark sky, and other surrounding neighbors homes.. but you could only hear and feel your husband behind you.
he looks down and eyes your backside as he turns you, the arousing feeling in his heart and trousers only grew. he brings his hands down to your ass once again, holding both cheeks in either hand. he gently strokes the silk fabric covering your skin, before giving both a tight squeeze.
“i can’t believe i let you leave out like this, what an awful husband i am.” he says truly saddened.
you tense just slightly at the squeeze, not fully expecting it from him again. you can’t help but to arch your back just slightly and push out your size a bit more.. though you quickly stopped once seeing your neighbors leave out of their home.
“nanami, we can do this upstairs? the pullmans just-“
you were interrupted by his quick action of pulling you in close, and pushing your body forward; closer to the front door. with your head, now to the side, he moves his own to go beside it.
“i’ll talk you through it to keep you quiet, don’t worry sweetheart.” he whispers, trying to reassure you, but it did nothing.
all you could feel was the coolness from the door and his warm hands making their way underneath your dress. you felt as the silk fabric slowly rose above your thigh then your stomach. he moves his head from your own and looks down at the sight of your lace panties in his favorite color. the color only his favorite because of how it fell perfectly on your skin.
“it’s like you knew..” he whispered and you couldn’t help but smile, but your smile soon turned into a small gasp once he gently ran two fingers down your crack; along the lace fabric.
the small touch made your whole body feel hot, something only he could do. “nanami please..” you let out softly, hoping your neighbors didn’t hear. you’ve never gotten any noise complaints before, but that’s because you weren’t right behind the door.
“my sweet baby is begging already?” he whispered to you with a smile, going to place a peck on your cheek.
he moves his fingers back up your covered crack, then back down again a harder than before. he moves his fingers fuller down, running over your other covered holes as well.
you let out a soft moan, trying to catch your breath once again. you bring you hand up to cover your mouth, but nanami quickly grabs it with his other. instead, he moves it to your front side, and slowly inserts it inside your panties. he moves two of your fingers lower down and gently glides them across the surface of your now wet pussy, before moving his hand away.
you breaths speed up even more throughout his actions, knowing exactly what he was doing before he does it. “nanami, they’re right outside..”
once you finally feel your fingers gliding around the wet surface you made, you let out yet another moan.. and watch your neighbors glance over at the door.
nanami moved his head from beside yours and gently removed your panties, watching them slide down your legs. he brought his other hand fingers up to his mouth, and gently licked the two before bring them back down and running them along your crack once again.
the cool sensation sent a small shiver down your body, which only made him smirk in response. he then, without hesitation, inserted one of his fingers inside of your asshole; gently beginning to move it back and forth.
you let out a rather large gasp before groaning and slowly closeting your eyes. however the sight of your neighbors pointing at the door and whispering to one another made you grow quiet. instead, your legs tightened together, your hand still in between your thighs.
“honey.. we-“ you stop yourself as you feel another groan come up, and another one of your husbands fingers entering inside your whole. you close your eyes and try to get used to the new sensation, but you were too tight and body already trembling.
“sweetheart breathe for me..” nanami breathes out, he uses his other hand to unzip and unbuckle his trousers, finally releasing a bit of fabric so that his boner could breathe a bit. he takes his member out with a groan.
he slowly takes his fingers out of you and bring them up to his mouth to lick the taste of you away. he then wraps his arms fully around your waist, and pull you in entirely so that his boner was aligned with your crack. now with it against it, he gently moves his hips upward a bit, letting his length rub against you.
with both of your moans now intertwined, you can’t help but forget about the neighbors outside; and nanami could care less.
he moves his head beside yours yet again, his breaths almost as heavy as your own. “you’re too tight sweetheart, you need to breathe and relax.”
you try to take deep breaths but the only thing you can think about is how good nanami feels against you. “i don’t think i can.” you finally get out, your eyes closing even more as he continues to rub against you.
“insert one baby..” he whispered and placed a small kiss along your shoulder. “insert two.”
with no hesitation, you obey. you insert two of your fingers inside your vagina. your back almost immediately arching because of it. you couldn’t help it. your body felt so good that every touch felt too much.
nanami keeps ahold of your body, close and against his own, even when you almost lose your balance. though, you almost do, you thrust your fingers in and out of yourself. only causing more moans to be released from your lips. as you speed up the motion, and finally find your g spot, you don’t stop.
nanami notices this, and realizes how focused you are on hitting your climax. he uses this to his advantage, and pulls himself away from your body a bit to find your asshole once again. once he does he holds his member in his hand and gently inserts the tip of it.
you stop your fingers for a second, once you feel the new sensation. your body involuntarily pushes back against it; wanting more of the feeling inside.
nanami watched this with a smirk as he lets out a rather loud moan, inserting more of him in you. he feels you body slightly lose its balance again but he of course holds you back up in place; ready to take more in.
he pushes more into you, then more, then finally the last bit of what’s left. when it comes to the last of him, you let out a loud whine, and throw your head back, away from the door. your fingers slowly slide out of your heat right before you can release..
“n…n..nanami please..” you cry out. “i’m so close..”
he doesn’t mean to ignore you, however he does by mistake. with you two fully connected now, he wraps his stable body around yours like before and pulls you close once again. his arms wrapped around your body entirely as you fall back onto him.
“(y/n)..” he breaths out, his head beside your own as he holds on to you for dear life. “i need you to gain a bit of control, can you do that for me sweetheart?”
“please..” he whispers and you nod your head.
you open your eyes slowly, allow for the build up tears of pleasure to finally fall. nanami slowly lets go of your body, and slowly find your balance once again. he backs away from the front door while still connected to you, and gently leads your hand to the foyer table to hold on to.
“hold this and breathe sweetheart, i’ll have us both finished in a few seconds.”
you shiver from his confidence, your body continuing to tremble from the overwhelmingly pleasurable sensation from behind.
before you could even get another breath in, your body jumped slightly at the rather large thrust nanami pushed against you. you lose your breath completely and try to find it again once you feel his member leave your hole. but nanami thrust back in again.. then lets it out.. then trust. then again, and again.
you grip onto the table and slowly start to bend over, enjoying the amounts of pain that came with the pleasure of nanami fitting inside of you.
he grips your cheeks as he thrusts over and over, his groans filling the house like a loud broadcasting channel. you thrust back against him, not nearly as hard as him, but hard enough to help him.
“(y/n..), (y/n…)” he lets out in heavy breaths as he continued to thrust.
“honey you feel so good.. i want to feel more.”
“i’m so close sweetheart, im-“ he pauses his speaking and actions, allowing for his member to tremble and twitch inside of you before finally releasing. he lets out a loud moan, along with you, and watches the sight down below.
you let out even more moans, and bring your thighs together to squeeze them, feeling your climax coming back.
he lets go of your cheeks and gently take out his member, allowing for the cum to run out of your hole, onto the floor. and for the rest, that’s on his tip, to wipe along your ass.
you shake your cheeks just slightly after feeling the warm substance on it, and turn your head to see his reaction.
nanami licks his lips at the sight, his eyes still hungry however when he finally locks eyes with you again.
he almost immediately drops his member and goes to cup your cheeks. (on your face.) “i haven’t seen those beautiful brown eyes in so long.” he whispers, his breath still shaky, along with his body.
you smile at his comment, your body turning around to face him, still trembling under his touch as well. “i could say the same about yours..” you breathe out.
“is it my turn?”
the question from you makes his heart flutters entirely, wanting to give you every last bit of him and more.
he gently picks you up and places you gently on the table that you were just gripping on for support. you keep your eyes connected with his own throughout his every move, not caring what he did with your body. you trusted him throughout it all.
he spread your legs and lifted them, placing them on his shoulders so that he could see you fully. his eyes slowly leave your own and trail down your body. he moves a bit of your dress out of the way so that he could see your breasts. he lets his hand now trail the middle of chest, down to your heat. he runs two fingers beside your lips before and brings his hand up to taste the substance you created.
your heat beat grows fast as you watch his every move.. once he put his fingers in his mouth, you couldn’t help but let out a small moan.. simply thinking about his tongue against you now.
he moves his hand down his body and grabs his still hard member, he runs his hand along the length before gently placing it inside.
you thought he was going to place only the tip like he usually did, however he inserted all of it. you kept your eyes connected with his own, though they closed a bit throughout feeling his full length inside of you.
you let out a gasp once all of him was inside, and you let out an even louder gasp once he started to move himself in and out of you.
his hands gently run along your naked legs, as he turns his head to the side and presses a soft kiss along your leg. he lets out a few groan against the skin there, and leans into it. fully enjoying how perfect his size fit inside of your vagina.
after a few more soft movements he slowly starts to speed up, his thrusting growing more rough this time around since he was a bit more stable; and you were less tight.
you legs involuntarily opened wider, and you let out more moans, closer your eyes as he sped up. you bring you hand to lay on your belly, feeling the imprint of him inside of you, then out.. then inside yet again.
“nanami honey.. n..nanami oh..” you mumble out and feel your thighs beginning to close and twitch.
he sees this as well and brings his hands down to hold them fully apart. he grips your thighs and quickens his thrusts inside of you, widening you by the second.
you throw your head back once again, letting out louder moans now. you were close, too close..
“i gonna cum.. b..baby i’m gonna c..cum.” nanami breathed out through his thrusts, your breasts moving in the same fast speed as him.
“me too baby.. tell me when… tell me when.” he breathed, waiting for his call.
he thrusts his quickest and holds it, pulling you in close to his embrace before finally releasing once he felt you did.
you let out a loud moan of his name and released as well, holding him tightly as you trembled still, now more than ever.
you slowly pull away from him and look down at the substances mix. nanami couldn’t help but smile at your quickness to see the sight. he gently takes his member out of you, and cum a bit more of your surface; slapping down his tip a few times just to get a small reaction out of you. like you did earlier with him.
you let out a small moan and watch as the cum slides off the table and onto the floor.
“should we go again, sweetheart?” he asks with a small smirk, pushing his tip along your heat.
fin.

christmas eve - sirius black x fem!reader
wc: 2405
cw: pure fluff, swearing, you meet sirius' friends on Christmas eve
me: happy christmas eve chickens!!!! hope u r all staying safe and happy and enjoying the holidays!!!! xxxx
════ ⋆★⋆ ════
If you had been asked in school if you would ever fancy Sirius Black, you would have said never in a million years. Sirius Black was a loud-mouthed, annoying, entitled son of a bitch. However, many years later, you would only say your boyfriend was a son of a bitch — you hated that woman.
If either of your respective groups of friends had been asked the same question, you were sure they would have given identical answers. In school you were quiet, polite and stayed under the radar. And Sirius was, well, Sirius. There was no way the two of you would ever get along.
Admittedly, you still didn’t exactly look the pair. Sirius and his dark silky hair, electric silver eyes and intimidating worn leather jacket, and you with your muted colour palette and unassuming appearance. Yet, you thought you went together pretty well. Still, you could both understand that even time and maturity didn’t make your get together more expected. In fact, you were probably the last person the marauders expected to show up to their Christmas Eve dinner.
When Christmas Eve finally came, Sirius and James were busy setting up his and Lily's dining room for the perfect holiday event. Decked in horrendous matching Christmas jumpers with terrible puns stamped across the front, each boy broke into laughter whenever they caught a glimpse of the other’s across the table as they lay down the fancy cutlery. Remus and Lily, cooking in the other room, had opted for more neutral red and green jumpers as a tribute to the season.
“Come on, mate, we’re brothers yet you’ve kept this girl hidden for months now, can’t you just tell me?” James begged, arranging the centrepieces to be spaced how he knew Lily liked.
“Patience, Prongsy, you’ll meet her soon enough. Promise you’ll be nice to her?”
“When have I not been nice?” James cried, hands up in mock offence. Sirius just shook his head, turning to arrange some pillows.
James cast him an inquisitive look, protective wasn’t usually Sirius’ style, which meant that something about you was really different. He’d been considering that for a while, and his suspicions were only confirmed with every passing day.
There were three main reasons that James thought Sirius was (for lack of a better word) serious about you. Firstly, Sirius was healthier. With the family he was born with, it wasn’t surprising that Sirius had a host of trauma and mental health issues. And though he’d tried therapy and meds a handful of times the habit had never really stuck and he’d always had a level of discomfort in his own body. Lately, though, Sirius had seemed more relaxed and in control. James wasn’t stupid, he knew that a partner couldn’t fix anyone, but he was absolutely more inclined to approve of one who made his best friend feel like himself again.
Secondly, Sirius was more private. Sirius had always had an outrageous sense of humour, uninhibited when it came to sex jokes or sharing conquests. But recently James had noticed that while Sirius still made jokes they were aimed at other people, he’d almost completely stopped talking about his own sex life. Of course, when prompted he would boast about how sexy his girlfriend was and how incredible and active your sex life was, but it was never Sirius bringing it up, or making gross comments about your body and what you could do with it.
Finally, Sirius was gentle. He’d always been charming, but the unfiltered adoration in his eyes when he spoke about you took James aback — he’d never seen it in his brother before. It was so pure and well-intentioned that James knew in his core that Sirius was head over heels and the fall was not coming to an end any time soon.
As the clock ticked by the gang all trickled in, the dining room filling with warmth and laughter. At five minutes past nine, you rang the doorbell.
“Is this the girlfriend?” Lily clapped with delight, jumping up and down with Mary.
“I’ll let her in. Play nice,” Sirius said with a stern sweep of the room, satisfied when his friends all played along, nodding solemnly.
Standing on the Potter’s doorstep you were ball of anxiety. You hadn’t seen any of the marauders — apart from your boyfriend — since you finished school, taking a muggle job. Thankfully Sirius opened the door, greeting you with his toothy smile.
“Hi, lovely,” He said, engulfing you in a bear hug. You giggled, wrapping one arm around him, the other holding up a purple umbrella.
“Hi,” You smiled back, “Sorry I’m late, all the houses look the same.”
“What are you talking about? You’re right on time.” A lie, but a kind one so you let it be. You shook the water off your umbrella before stepping inside.
Safe in a warm home you leant up on your tiptoes to plant a kiss on Sirius’ lips as he slid the coat down your arms, hanging it up on a hook beside you. You were half-tempted to just stay in his arms for the rest of the night and abandon the dinner altogether, but you figured that wasn’t possible while you were inside someone else’s house. It seemed like Sirius had the same idea, pulling away with a groan.
“Come on, everyone’s waiting to meet you.” You followed him out of the entryway, calming yourself with a breath.
“Ladies and gentlemen, may I present my girlfriend.” Sirius revealed you dramatically as you waved shyly, shifting in your small brown heels.
“Uh, hey—”
“Holy shit, it’s you?” Marlene slammed her hand on the dining table. You jumped slightly, squinting to figure out what was going on. Your mouth dropped open as you connected the dots and looked up at Sirius.
“Do they not know we’re dating? Sirius!” You scolded him, smacking him on the bicep. Sirius floundered for a moment, struggling to summon the charm that usually got him out of trouble.
“In my defence,” He preached, “Would they have believed me?”
“I would not have,” Peter put in helpfully. You laughed, putting a hand to your forehead in exasperation.
“I guess I don’t blame you. It’s nice to see you, Peter, by the way. Long time no see, I’ve heard so much about you all.” The group all shared a look, something akin to guilt growing that they hadn’t seen someone they graduated with for years.
“And we know nothing about you,” Lily said with an expectant look to Sirius, “Since your boyfriend was so insistent on keeping you hidden away from us.” Sirius just shrugged, lifting his hands in surrender.
“Oh, baby, are you ashamed of me?” You teased with a dramatic pout.
“What’s there to be ashamed of? You’re perfect.” Sirius swooped down to press a kiss on your cheek. You grinned subconsciously as Mary and Marlene mirrored your expression. Sirius had dated a lot of people but they’d never seen him be so gentle.
“Is anyone else scared of Sirius being a normal human being?” James stage whispered and the others all agreed, joking at their friend’s expense.
“Enough gossiping about me you heathens, I’m helping Lily serve up some food. Right, Lils?” Sirius made a summoning motion and Lily followed him, a small smile still on her lips. He’d chosen wisely, Lily was the least likely to tear him to shreds about his behaviour.
You sat shyly on one of the couches in the Potter’s living room, studying your nails as you tried to come up with conversation.
“So, are you working, studying?” Remus asked kindly, putting you out of your awkward misery.
“How’d you and Padfoot meet — again?”
“How’d a twat like Pads score a girl like you?”
“I’m working, I run a muggle bookshop. Sirius came in one day by chance and just kept returning until eventually we started going out.”
“Sirius reading?” Mary asked incredulously, drawing laughter from you. You nodded happily, glad to talk about your boyfriend.
“Surprising I know, but he’s been really into it over the last few months!”
“Can I just defend myself and say that I was shopping for Remus’ birthday gift the first time,” Sirius popped his head through the door, “I didn’t start reading until I wanted to get her to like me.” You shook your head with a smile, rolling your eyes playfully.
“I was going to say I couldn’t imagine Sirius perusing a book store for fun, but it makes a lot more sense when you say it’s for a girl,” Marlene teased, popping up to help Sirius bring the dishes to the dining table.
“Hey! I’m an intellectual now, you arse.” Sirius pulled out your chair for you as the group migrated to the dining table.
“Yeah, okay, Padfoot,” Remus snorted and Sirius scoffed in false annoyance before you all fell silent, devouring the meal.
You ate and shared stories for hours and you felt strangely at home among the group. At some point Sirius, sitting beside you, threw an arm over your shoulder and you cuddled into his warmth.
You loved learning about the Marauders, you only remembered fragments from school since you were never close with any of them. James being an auror made perfect sense when you remembered his amazing DADA performances, and Remus becoming a teacher was a wonderful sequel to his long tutoring sessions in seventh year. Lily expecting a baby so young had shook up their home life but the house had clearly started getting child-ready even though it was months away. Regardless, the group welcomed you warmly and you felt immediately at home.
“I just can’t believe that you of all people are together. I mean after all this time, how you both were in school… what are the odds?” Peter asked, reaching over the table to take another scoop of vegetables. You bit your lip and tried to control the heat creeping up your neck.
“I think we balance each other out,” You reasoned, “Sirius is such a… distinct character that he needs someone boring like me to bring him down.”
“You, boring? You’re the daughter that everyone wants!” Marlene laughed, sipping a red wine.
“I couldn’t function without her.” Sirius laced your fingers together, gaze heavy on you. “She reminds me to take care of myself, go to bed before three A.M., and of course, is hot and sexy as fuck.” That was the Sirius his friends all knew, but the school-era immaturity was gone. No longer was it the ladies-man Sirius Black trying to get into someone’s pants, instead, it was Sirius making a dumb joke with someone he loved.
“Sirius!” You cried, covering your face with both hands, including the one Sirius had attached to yours. Times like these you could feel the differences between you — Sirius was known for his crude humour, you would never bring up how sexy you thought Sirius was, joke or not, especially not in front of people you didn’t really know.
The night progressed with more reminiscing and storytelling, and you listened enraptured as they told story after story of pranks and parties, a life you were unaware of being led right beside you at school. You all ended up tipsy, an embarrassing stack of empty wine bottles building up at the end of the table.
As you were told was a common occurrence, the group all decided to just stay over at the Potters, pulling out mattresses and spots on the sofa with practised speed. You took the place they gave you, grateful to still be welcome.
Swaddled in blankets, Sirius was the first asleep, dead to the world in a matter of moments. For someone who stayed up half the night, he really did pass out as soon as his head hit the pillow. Whenever he was with you, anyway.
Someone across the room called your name in a whisper, wand faintly illuminated. You sat up to look their way, finding the rest of Sirius’ friends looking at you.
“We just wanted to say we really like you, and we’re really happy for you and Padfoot, even if we were weird at the start,”” Mary said and you couldn’t contain your grin.
“And why weren’t we friends in school? We would’ve gotten along great,” Remus added, rubbing tired eyes.
“I would have been putting a target on my own back,” You confessed, “You were all in the same house, confident in yourselves and could defend yourself against the bullies. I was alone in my house and deeply insecure. Even if we were friends I would’ve gone back to my common room at the end of the day and been vulnerable. It was easier to just be alone.”
“You thought that through.” James nodded appreciatively but you just shrugged, a fact was a fact.
The conversation moved away from you for a while, whispers and stifled giggles bouncing across the room.
“You know that Sirius is in love with you, right?” James blurted out of nowhere, slapping a hand over his mouth.
“What?”
“Isn’t it obvious? He looks at you like he’s your whole world. He raves about you all the time; how great you are, how he’s so glad he met you. He’s my brother and I know him better than he knows himself; he’s mad for you.”
You took a moment to let that sink in. You hadn’t put too much thought into whether Sirius loved you, you’d always just been happy with the way they were going.
“Oh,” You hesitated. “I hadn’t considered that. Well, um, I should probably get to sleep, I have a lot of family to see tomorrow.” It was a poor excuse, you knew, but that was a big word.
You bade the group goodnight once more before snuggling into Sirius, and he instinctually wrapped his arm around your waist. As you drifted off to sleep, the thought crossed your mind that maybe, love wasn’t so out of the picture.

hii can you pls make a yandere caitlyn x reader where the reader tries escaping while cait isn't home but the reader obvi gets caught?? feel free 2 ignore💗💗
part one part two
❝yandere!caitlyn kiramman x gn!reader escaping❞
💭 ୧ ‧₊˚ 🧁 You had finally curated the perfect escape plan. You almost lost home, Caitlyn was too meticulous and could see through an act you put on no matter what. But when she got an emergency in Piltover, it was her duty as an enforcer to help. The spontaneity gave you the perfect opportunity to leave.
💭 ୧ ‧₊˚ 🧁 After weeks of behaving, you secretly absorbed as much information as possible to bypass any security Caitlyn put in place.
💭 ୧ ‧₊˚ 🧁 As soon as the warm sun hit your face and fresh air flooded into your lungs, you couldn't stop the happy tears building up in your eyes. You had forgotten what a privilege your freedom outside is. No more overbearing, clingy, protective enforcer as your side anymore! You'd change your name, your appearance if need be to escape her.
💭 ୧ ‧₊˚ 🧁 Everything was cut short when you found an enforcer. They'll help you! You were once an enforcer after all, they'd have to believe you even if its been awhile. Right?
💭 ୧ ‧₊˚ 🧁 "Ryan! You don't know how glad I am to see you!" You restrained yourself from clinging onto him into relief. It's been so long since you've finally felt free. You quickly explained him everything, how you've been entrapped by Caitlyn, not realizing you sound a bit delirious.
💭 ୧ ‧₊˚ 🧁 Ryan just nods, a uncomfortable smile on his face. "Great.. does um, Caitlyn know you are here?"
💭 ୧ ‧₊˚ 🧁 "What? No, of course not! I'm trying to escape her. You have to help me!"
💭 ୧ ‧₊˚ 🧁"Yeah, yeah, of course. But maybe we should get some backup first, okay?" He says soothingly but you're already scoffing at his comment. You recognize that tone, the same condescending and fragility that Caitlyn treats you with!
💭 ୧ ‧₊˚ 🧁 "Fine, but hurry!" You shout, getting anxious Caitlyn might've found out you're not at home still.
💭 ୧ ‧₊˚ 🧁 Just as you're about to shout again to announce your impatientness a white gloved hand reaches out and grips your wrist with ferocity. It was Caitlyn.
💭 ୧ ‧₊˚ 🧁 You look up at her like you seen a friggin' ghost, your heartrate dropping then picking back up exponentially like a rabbit.
💭 ୧ ‧₊˚ 🧁 "Ah, thank you, Ryan for telling me to come pick up Y/N. I was really worried for a minute there, they are suppose to be on bedrest. For a very long time." Caitlyn's sapphire eyes snap back to you, almost signaling you to keep quiet. A warning. But you couldn't help but defend yourself.
💭 ୧ ‧₊˚ 🧁 "No, help! She's fucking crazy! She drugged and kidnapped me—"
💭 ୧ ‧₊˚ 🧁 Both Ryan and Caitlyn have a conversation as if you're not even there. Like you're the ghost.
💭 ୧ ‧₊˚ 🧁 "Yeah, it's been very hard. Ever since the accident she hasn't been the same, her memories are so backwards. She gets delusions that I'm Jinx trying to hurt her. It's so.." Caitlyn fakes a down cast look, making Ryan pity her and put a hand on her shoulder for comfort.
💭 ୧ ‧₊˚ 🧁 "Don't worry, I completely understand. You're doing a good thing, Cait. Do you need any help getting her back home?" Caitlyn quickly declines, flashing a discreet charming smile.
💭 ୧ ‧₊˚ 🧁 After that it was hell. Caitlyn dragged you back home as if nothing was wrong and you didn't bother trying to escape again. She could restrain you easily, shoot you in the leg, anything. And her bruising grip on your shoulders was enough of a effective warning.
💭 ୧ ‧₊˚ 🧁 The rest of the months was indeed spent with you on your "bedrest" even though you had no need for it. You were chained nearly 24/7 and when you weren't, Caitlyn was at your side. She'd bathe you, spoon feed you, make you succumb to her control in every little thing. Asserting that you have no power here, you can't do anything yourself especially when no one else on the outside believes you are mentally sound.
💭 ୧ ‧₊˚ 🧁 The punishment was long but it eventually got easier, the more you let yourself accept it. You leaned into Cait's touch when she'd give you it and you didn't make a fuss every night when she put you down for bed with her. You got more freedoms, more time spent out of chains but still under Caitlyn's scrutinizing watch.
💭 ୧ ‧₊˚ 🧁 But one thing was for certain from the bars on the windows and the locks on the doors, you won't ever be seeing a ray of sunlight again.

Lost In Control | Bad Omens | CHAPTER 24
adult content | minors do NOT interact.
⋆ 𝐏𝐀𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆. Bad Omens X ex-girlfriend and singer!Reader.
⋆ 𝐒𝐘𝐍𝐎𝐏𝐒𝐈𝐒. You and Noah had a difficult ending but you still need to support each other for the band.
⋆ 𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆(𝐒). melancholy, ex-boyfriends, difficult relationships, alcohol abuse, swearing, drug addiction, violence.
It's okay to not agree with the characters' attitudes during the fic. It's good to remember that the story is fiction from the author's sick mind and of course they will make dubious decisions according to my fantasies. Nothing is done to be compared to reality.
NOAH
"It's important to stay well-hydrated, eat properly, and maintain a good sleep routine. It’s not like this feeling will disappear overnight, but a lifestyle more focused on your well-being might help…”
My attention was fixed on the hourglass on his desk, the sand sliding down into the lower compartment at a slow rhythm. If I said I was paying attention to anything, I’d be lying. Ever since I walked into this room, I’d been high on intravenous medication and completely oblivious to what was happening around me, slouched in a position in this chair that would surely give me a backache once I returned to my senses.
I didn’t know it was possible to feel even more apathetic.
“I can refer you to regular sessions with a professional—what do you think?” he pressed, trying to regain my attention again. “Your tests didn’t reveal anything I should worry about, but if these symptoms persist, it would be wise to seek a second opinion. It could help, considering your physical reactions are becoming increasingly severe.”
I let out a scoffing laugh without looking at him.
“Do you think I’m losing my mind?”
“I think your body is sending signals that it needs care. That’s common when patients are going through difficult times or even under pressure.” The deeper he delved into the topic, the more nausea churned in my stomach. I sighed as though trying to reclaim air in a near reflux. “Have you experienced anything like that? Feeling trapped in a state of excessive melancholy that seems to take longer to pass with each episode?”
Absolute silence.
“Do you think I’m planning to kill myself?” I asked with irony. “My contract doesn’t allow that.”
“I think it would be wise to take some time off to rest.”
I had a flight with the band in two hours, two festivals over the span of a week in different countries. Resting was only an option in my dreams—and even then, there was a risk I’d be working in them.
“Can I ask you something?” I finally shifted my attention from the hourglass to the man in a lab coat with graying hair behind the desk.
“Of course, Noah.”
“The girl who brought me here—she’s still in the hospital?” I asked carefully, biting down on my lower lip.
The doctor looked at me for a few seconds as if reading my microexpressions or whatever the hell I carried in my eyes. I felt a faint discomfort, but it wasn’t greater than the curiosity clawing at the inside of my skin.
“I can’t say for sure, Noah, but there’s a girl listed as your contact in your file. I’m just not sure if it’s the same person we’re talking about.”
I hated how my body reacted immediately, as though erasing the entire conversation about the studio and clinging solely to the fact that she might still be here—with me. Nothing else seemed to matter, none of the other things I was feeling, because somehow, she managed to give me the false sense that my heart was at peace again.
Like at the studio, when the touch of her hand silenced the chaos in my mind, even if it was just a fleeting truce, since everything came back threefold the moment she moved away.
I must have been losing my mind. I no longer had any awareness of my actions or control over them. I couldn’t filter my feelings, making them even more confusing each time I smothered them with some new, unrestrained emotion.
As I exited the consultation room, I saw nothing but other patients waiting to be seen. Gradually, I let my shoulders drop while I walked, scanning the reception area with slow steps when I didn’t see any sign of her around. What passed through my head wasn’t disappointment—certainly not.
A sudden jolt from physical contact made me turn sharply, my brow furrowing as I saw a girl greeting me with a hug I didn’t reciprocate, keeping my arms stiff at my sides. I blinked a few times before looking down and seeing the fiery red hair on top of her head.
“Scarlet?” I asked, confused.
“When I returned to the observation room, they told me you had woken up and gone to see the doctor. How are you feeling?” she asked sweetly, frowning as I moved her away from me by grabbing her arm.
“What are you doing here?”
“Are you disoriented from the meds? I received you at the hospital on behalf of the record label’s team and have been accompanying you ever since, silly!”
“But…”
Had I been mixing things up? As far as I remembered, it wasn’t Scarlet who had been with me when I arrived here or when the medication knocked me out. But was I coherent enough to argue? My head was beginning to throb again, and my thoughts were as tangled as the sequence of events.
I definitely didn’t remember this particular cut.
“How about lunch? There’s a restaurant nearby that—”
“I just want to go home.” I interrupted while craning my neck to look around.
“Alright, I’ll drive you!” she replied with unshakable enthusiasm, and I let out a deep sigh.
“Isn’t there anyone else who can do that?”
“Noah, you don’t have to be so hard on me, okay? I know you’d rather have someone else in my place, but there’s not much I can do if she didn’t want it that way!” Scarlet’s tone was almost offended as she shrugged. “Let me help you—I promise that’s all I want.”
Meeting her bright green eyes as she fluttered her long lashes, I just turned around and started walking toward the exit. Scarlet sighed in satisfaction behind me, following like a duckling trailing after its mother.
On the way to the car, I tried to pull as much as I could from my worn-out mind, demanding myself to recall the route from the studio and my time in the hospital, but it felt as though a gaping hole had formed in my memory.
“I have good news for you!” she said, tapping her fingertips together as she closed the driver’s door.
“I don’t like people beating around the bush. Be direct.”
“Well…” Scarlet cleared her throat awkwardly. “Bryan has to miss the band’s trips this week, and I’ll be replacing him as the photographer. Isn’t that amazing?”
I was still searching for the “good” part of the news.
“Since when do you need to take band photography jobs?” I asked, perplexed, shifting my gaze to her. “That makes no sense when you make triple the amount from a single modeling gig.”
“I haven’t had as many jobs lately. This opportunity came up, and since you guys already know me from photographing the band’s collection, I took it!”
“Does everyone know about this already?”
"I thought I only owed explanations to you."
"I'm not a solo artist, and changes need to go through everyone in the band first!" I tried to moderate my tone as I turned back to the dashboard.
"Well, my hiring was cleared by Gerard, and now you're being informed about it. I don’t think anyone else is left on my list." She concluded with conviction after adjusting the rearview mirror to see her own reflection.
The girl lowered her sunglasses and started the car, keeping a moderate speed and playing some generic pop music that scratched at my ears.
I was about to open the door and throw myself onto the road at any moment.
At home, I barely had time to sit and breathe before being bombarded with calls and messages about being late to the airport. Moving at the slow pace I was still processing things, I threw a few pieces of clothing into a backpack and called a taxi to meet up with the band as quickly as possible.
"Hey, man! How are you feeling?" Folio greeted me at the entrance with a light slap on my arm.
"I'm fine," I replied, forcing some enthusiasm into my voice as I followed him. "You seem excited to travel."
"And when am I not?" he said as if it were obvious, raising his hands in the air. "I thought we were all eager to get back on stage after some time."
"You're right..." I felt like I couldn’t say the same. "I am, too."
In the boarding line, I bit the inside of my lips as soon as her perfume arrived first in the air, infecting everything in the blink of an eye as if it wanted to suffocate me. From the corner of my eye, I saw her stop behind me, wearing sunglasses and focused on a piece of paper she was holding, her long black-painted nails adorned with rings she rarely took off.
"What are you doing here?" I heard her voice and turned to see she was speaking to Scarlet, who had taken a spot behind her.
"Didn't Noah tell you?" the red-haired girl replied with raised eyebrows. "I'll be accompanying the band as a photographer."
"No, Noah didn’t tell us..." She smiled slowly and turned to look straight at me. Every word she spoke to Scarlet didn’t require the slightest eye contact—she directed her harsh words while fixing me with a furious glare. "I didn’t know he was hiring just anyone to keep his girlfriend around."
"What are you talking about?" I asked, lowering my voice as if each word pierced my brain, my headache still relentless.
"Listen here, girl, you respect me because I am not just anyone!"
She laughed, covering her mouth with trembling fingers before recomposing herself and gliding her lipstick-coated lips together.
"Thank you so much for the info, sweetheart! Good luck keeping an eye on him backstage."
Like a furious storm, she delivered her acidic words while brushing past me, heading toward our friends up ahead.
"I find her so rude," Scarlet muttered with a dissatisfied grunt. "No wonder if she's high, acting so full of herself."
"Why don’t you just shut up?" I snapped, cutting her words short with a cold sideways glare. "If you found a way to insert yourself into the band through work, then do it. Pretend the rumors about my personality are true—don’t talk to me, don’t sit next to me, don’t ask me for anything, and definitely don’t meddle in my life. I sincerely hope I don’t have to hear your voice until the plane lands, or I’ll ship you off to an island in New Zealand."
"But Noah—"
Before Scarlet could say anything else, I turned my back on her and followed the rest of the team. Fortunately, I was so exhausted that the rest of the trip seemed to promise immediate sleep.
On the plane, however, my mood worsened even more when I realized I’d been assigned the worst seat possible: right behind Ruffilo and the others, who were laughing loudly and joking incessantly with her.
Ruffilo’s loud laugh cut through the air, and something inside me pulsed with growing irritation.
"Could you all keep it down?" I snapped, sharp enough to silence them. "I’m trying to sleep."
"Sorry, Noah..." Ruffilo apologized, pulling an exaggerated pout. "We were just trying to distract her."
I rolled my eyes. "Her fear of flying will only ease if you let her sit by the window. Acting like clowns won’t help. Now stop bothering me."
An awkward silence settled momentarily, soon replaced by careful movement in the aisle. She swapped seats, taking the one by the window. The light filtering through the clouds bathed her face with a softness that, against my will, held my attention for a few seconds longer than it should have.
Her expression was tense, her brow furrowed, almost in agony over something as she looked outside, her delicate fingers tapping quickly against the seat’s side. Her scent lingered in the air—subtle, but impossible to ignore.
I caught myself inhaling deeply, without realizing it, before quickly averting my gaze and leaning my head against the headrest, trying to ignore the silent chaos she caused in me.
The landing was turbulent, both literally and emotionally, as I still struggled to fall asleep. The uncomfortable silence during the remainder of the flight was replaced by the team’s bustle during disembarkation, everyone busy gathering their belongings. I, on the other hand, kept my distance from Scarlet, even when she was just a few steps behind me.
We arrived at the hotel, unfortunately crowded with other teams and bands participating in the festival. The marble lobby reflected the golden light of the chandelier, creating an environment that felt suffocating after such an exhausting day.
Ruffilo led the small line at the reception desk, collecting room keys and handing them out. Everything seemed to be going smoothly until Scarlet cleared her throat loudly, drawing everyone’s attention.
"And my room?" Scarlet asked, crossing her arms, visibly annoyed.
Ruffilo hesitated, glancing at the receptionist before turning back to her. "You… didn’t book a room?"
She rolled her eyes. "I thought someone on the team would do that for me."
My patience, already frayed, was about to snap. "And no one thought to tell you that you needed to handle it yourself?"
"Don’t start, Noah," she shot back, her cheeks tinged slightly pink but her tone sharp. "I can stay in your room."
The suggestion—or rather, demand—made my head turn in her direction so fast I felt tension in my neck. "Absolutely not," I replied, my voice firm as contained thunder.
Scarlet raised an eyebrow, defiant. "Oh, what's the problem? I'm not asking for much."
"It's not happening," I emphasized, gesturing toward the group. "Why don't you share a room with the only other woman here?"
The suggestion was logical but caused a pause in the room. Scarlet looked at me as if I had just gravely insulted her, while the girl chewing gum and inspecting her nails smirked faintly, almost imperceptibly.
"Great idea," she said with false cheerfulness, a lightness that contrasted with the tension in the air. "I don't mind sharing a room with you, Redhead."
Scarlet turned to her, clearly indignant. "You must be joking."
"She's not," I interrupted, more firmly than I intended. "Problem solved."
Scarlet huffed, shooting a final look of displeasure before grabbing her things. I watched her walk away, the sound of her footsteps echoing on the marble as she reluctantly departed.
"Did I mention how much I love your grouchy old-man spirit today?" Ruffilo commented under his breath, barely holding back a laugh. "It's rarely this entertaining."
"I just want to figure out what the hell that girl is doing," I muttered, cutting off the joke as I grabbed my key and headed for the elevator.
"Replacing Bryan, right?"
"That's what it seems…"
But I had a feeling Scarlet's presence was more than just coincidence.
After settling into my room, an uneasiness began to consume me. The hotel was too dull, and the day's tension lingered in my head like an endless echo. I decided to head out in search of something to eat—anything to get me out of that oppressive atmosphere.
I called a taxi, and as I waited at the entrance, the cold night air brought momentary relief. As soon as the car arrived, I opened the door and got in, giving the driver an address I vaguely remembered seeing in a travel magazine. Before the taxi could leave, the opposite door suddenly opened, and a familiar figure climbed in without hesitation.
"Of course," I muttered, already exasperated as she settled in beside me with a mischievous smile.
"How lucky for me," she said, feigning enthusiasm. "Sharing a taxi with the devil himself."
"Seriously? Can't you take another one?" I asked, already considering opening the door and getting out.
"I'm already here; there's no way I'm letting a ride pass by," she retorted, fixing her hair as if that would end the argument. “Besides, I’m looking for a place to eat. What a coincidence, huh? Hey, where's Scarlet?"
"Perfect," I muttered sarcastically, leaning back against the seat and looking out the window, trying to ignore her.
The ride was silent—on my part, at least. She seemed quite pleased to tease me with remarks about the city, the driver, and even how I always seemed grumpy.
When we finally arrived at the address, I got out quickly, eager to rid myself of her. But, unsurprisingly, she followed right behind me, the sound of her boots echoing on the sidewalk.
"Why are you getting out?" I asked, turning to face her.
"Because I decided to eat at the same place as you," she replied with a challenging smile.
I rolled my eyes and started walking, but soon noticed something strange. The address I had chosen… didn't seem right. There was no restaurant in sight, just old buildings and poorly lit streets.
"Are you sure this is the place?" she asked, glancing around with raised eyebrows.
"Of course I am," I lied, though the discomfort was evident in my voice.
"Oh, then where's the restaurant, genius?" She crossed her arms, tilting her head at me with a look of fake patience.
"Maybe it's around the corner," I replied, pointing randomly and starting to walk, even though I wasn’t certain.
"Or maybe you just have no idea what you're doing," she quipped, following me.
"You didn’t have to come," I shot back, spinning on my heel to face her.
"And you didn’t have to get us lost," she countered with a shrug.
The argument escalated quickly. Our voices echoed through the deserted streets as we argued about whose fault it was—mine, for choosing an address without checking, or hers, for insisting on tagging along.
"You think you know everything, don't you?" she exclaimed, shaking her head.
"And you think you have the right to meddle in everything," I retorted, pointing at her.
She opened her mouth to reply but was interrupted by a distant sound—something metallic, like a gate slamming shut. We both fell silent immediately, the atmosphere now much quieter and stranger than before.
"Great," she muttered, glancing around again. "Now we're lost on an empty street and probably about to get mugged."
"If you’d stop complaining for a second, maybe we could find the place," I replied, trying to ignore the growing unease inside me.
But deep down, I knew she was right. The night was only getting worse.
The sky began to shift slowly, the bluish tones giving way to a deep orange that soon turned into an oppressive darkness. What once looked like deserted streets now carried an unsettling aura. The buildings and sidewalks disappeared, replaced by empty lots and sparse trees. The silence was broken only by the sound of our footsteps, which seemed louder with every second.
"What’s the matter, Noah? Afraid of the dark?" she teased, wiggling her fingers, though her voice trembled slightly, betraying her growing discomfort.
"Stop being pathetic!" I snapped, forcing sarcasm to mask the anxiety creeping over me.
The real trouble came when my phone vibrated one last time before dying completely.
"Perfect," I muttered, holding the lifeless device in my hand.
She glanced at her own phone and made a face, letting out a dry laugh. "Mine’s almost dead too. We’re out of GPS, no taxi, and no idea where we are."
"Oh, so you’re just now realizing this was a terrible idea?"
"You brought me here!" she shot back, arms crossed like she owned the moral high ground.
The argument continued as we walked, but the energy was draining along with the daylight. The jokes and taunts gave way to irritated grumbles and, eventually, to an uncomfortable silence. The cold began to set in, making her rub her arms and mutter something about how much of a waste of time this all was.
That was when we spotted a structure in the distance, partially hidden by the trees.
“Is that a house?” she asked, her voice tinged with doubt.
“Sort of,” I replied, eyeing the weathered, timeworn structure. It was small, with cracked walls and windows boarded up with planks.
It looked like it had been abandoned for years, but at least it offered shelter.
“I can’t believe I’m going in there,” I said, taking a step back.
“Great. Stay out here and see how much you like the freezing wind,” she shot back before pushing open the slightly ajar door.
The inside was no more inviting than the outside. The wooden floor creaked with every step, and the smell of mildew and dust filled my lungs. There were only two rooms: one that seemed to be the main living area and another that might have been a bedroom. Unlike me, she was enthralled, poking around at everything from the walls to the furniture and even amusing herself by sniffing the abandoned food in the fridge.
I hated how she could turn any situation into a joke.
“Do you think it’s safe?” I asked, following her hesitantly.
“No idea. But it’s better than staying outside.”
I scoffed, glancing around with disdain.
“So, what now? Are we setting up camp here and waiting for sunrise?”
“Maybe. Did you bring a tent? Because there’s only one bed, and I’m not sleeping with you, Mr. I-Snore-All-Night.”
“Funny,” I said mockingly, throwing a dusty pillow at her. “I don’t snore anymore.”
The tension between us kept building, every word dripping with irritation and exhaustion. My heart was pounding harder—not just because of the situation, but because of her presence, so close yet so infuriating.
“I feel like you planned this just to get some alone time with me!” she accused, her eyes gleaming with anger. “At the very least, I expected a less exotic location.”
“Disappearing your body behind this house at sunrise is still an option.”
“I definitely deserve more than being dumped in the middle of nowhere!” she declared haughtily.
“I can’t believe I have to spend the night under the same roof as you! I’d have preferred being mugged outside.”
“Then go back out there, Superman!”
Our bickering echoed off the empty walls, the anger making the discomfort almost palpable. Yet, in the midst of our insults, a sound from outside cut through the tension.
A low rustling, like leaves being stepped on.
We both fell silent immediately, our eyes darting toward the open door. The air grew heavier, and for the first time since we left the hotel, I felt something close to genuine fear.
“Did you hear that?” she whispered, her voice finally stripped of sarcasm.
“Yes,” I replied, my gaze fixed on the darkness outside.
Something was out there.
And, for the first time that night, our argument ceased to matter.

Working at Smosh is great, so is working with your boyfriend, you essentially get to hang out and play games with the person you care for the absolute most.
Being an actor was always your dream, so having a steady acting job that also allows time for auditions on the side is perfect.
However, the one downside of working at smosh with your boyfriend is that your family already has… an idea of Spencer.
Would you say that you’re embarrassed? Absolutely not, you’ve always loved his humor, it was one of your favorite things about Spencer since the moment you met. In fact, it made you fall in love with him.
This isn’t the first impression you had hoped for though, neither you nor Spencer had control over their idea of him thus far due to the fact that you both weren’t even in the room when the first impression occurred.
countless nights you had spent awake at ungodly hours watching every video with you or Spencer from the point of view of your family.
Maybe this was obsessive and absolutely insane, but you couldn’t help it. Spencer had no idea about this, and you had no intention of telling him either.
Now, Spencer was coming to meet your family properly this Christmas, which was so wonderful and exciting yet terrifying and nerve wracking.
Your mother had promised you over the phone that they hadn’t all formed an opinion on him already, but you knew better than that.
Knock, knock.
You make your way towards the door, opening it to a smiling Spencer with takeout in hand. You smile back at him, anxiety seemingly dissipating out of your being at the sight.
Later into the night, you and Spencer were curled up on the couch, eating Chinese food, which is now placed on the coffee table, and watching “Family Guy” (his choice). His hand gently ran up and down against your arm while his head nuzzled against your neck.
“Only two days until Christmas.” Spencer stated, moving to look over at you. He studied your expression, it was hard to tell what you were feeling.
You nod, “I know, are you excited to finally meet my family?” You say this in a joking tone, but a part of you is searching for a real answer.
He adjusts his glasses slightly before speaking, “well, if they’re anything like you, then no.” This lightened your mood, while also getting an eye roll out of you.
Both of your laughs echo through your apartment, you push him off of you playfully. “No- okay, okay. I’m sorry.” He laughs, pulling you back towards him.
“You’re an idiot.”
“Okay, you want my serious answer?”
You nod.
“Yes, I am excited, if not a little frightened to be completely honest.” He admits.
You shake your head, running your fingers gently through his curls. “Spence, you don’t have to be scared. My mom loves everyone and my dad pretty much thinks you’re the funniest guy alive already.”
Spencer tilts his head, “he does?“
“Yeah.”
“Has he, like… watched our videos?” You could tell this freaked Spencer out a little, one could only imagine which insane jokes he was beginning to regret.
You didn’t want to bring it up or say anything, this was supposed to be something you exclusively stressed about. You knew the second Spencer heard this he would start overthinking.
“Hey, I know that look. Stop it. Yes, they all watch the channels. They really do seem to love it, though.” You scoot closer to him, tucking your legs under you so you can face him. “You will see, my brother is just like me, they’re used to the humor.”
He still looks stunned, despite your reassurance. “Yeah, okay.”
You let out a sympathetic laugh, “aw, buddy, I promise it’s gonna go fine.” You pull his head into your chest, rubbing his back to comfort him, the last thing you wanted was for him to get into his own head.
“Why do I have to make so many misogynistic jokes?” He sigh, laughing at his own immaturity.
“They know it isn’t real, it’s very obvious. Besides, we can worry about that in a few days. For now let’s just relax.”
-time skip, Christmas Eve-
You arrived at your parents house in the evening, the chill breeze hitting your cheeks as you stepped out of your car. Your scarf was assisting in keeping your face warm, although it did not quite suffice.
Spencer, ever the gentleman, closed the car door behind you just as he had opened it before to let you out. As you made your way up the door, Spencer’s grip tightened around your hand.
You knock, this is it.
Your mother pulls the both of you in for a tight hug, something Spencer hadn’t expected by the look of his eyes widening.
“Oh, you must be Spencer! It’s so good to see you both!” She holds on for a bit too long, “don’t be shy, come in! Oh, (y/n), I have so much to tell you about your aunt Carol! Her hair is bright purple.” She looked at you like it was the most serious news she’d ever relayed.
You chuckle, looking back at Spencer. “It’s nice to see you too, mom.” You guide Spencer into the warm house.
“Thank you so much for having me, you have a lovely home.” Spencer says with a nervous smile.
“Oh, don’t be so formal! Spencer, why don’t you go into the living room, I need (y/n)’s help in the kitchen.” She begins pulling you away as you shoot your boyfriend an apologetic yet reassuring look.
Spencer was now stranded, he sat on your parent’s couch hesitantly. He didn’t want to see like he was making himself too at home. For a few minutes alone, Spencer pondered his next interactions with your family.
He was interrupted when a large man entered the room, “my boy!” Spencer looked around as to say ‘who, me?’ And once he realized he was the only one in the room he stood. “Well, I assume you’re the famous Spencer Agnew? The one dating my daughter?”
Spencer immediately swallowed, now realizing that he was meeting your father for the first time. “Oh- yes, that’s me. It’s nice to meet you.” He nodded.
Your father approached Spencer, towering over him, as most do. Spencer looked up at the man, he reached out his hand to shake. Spencer immediately reciprocated.
“Nice to meet you too, although I feel like I already have. I’ve seen the videos, you’re a funny kid.” He plops onto the couch, putting his feet up on the ottoman.
“Thank you, that means a lot.” Spencer smiles, gently sitting down on the sofa as well.
An awkward silence.
Spencer searches for something to say, anything. He hates when his mind goes blank during conversation, which never happens when he’s comfortable and with people he knows well, he is not used to this.
“So, the weather-“
“Okay, dinner is ready.”
Saved by the bell, you and your boyfriend sit around the table with your family. Your younger brother now joins you for the meal, steak and potatoes.
“This is really good, mom.” You compliment her before taking a sip of your wine. You ask your brother, “how’s school?”
“Pretty good, Jeremy finally traded me that Pokémon card I wanted.” Before you know it, him and Spencer are engaged in a thrilling conversation, ending in him promising to look at your brother’s card collection after dinner.
You can see in your father’s eyes how much he admires the fact that Spencer is entertaining this, your brother was hard to get along with so when he likes someone it’s meaningful. Not many people are willing to accommodate his special interests and demanding attitude, but Spencer had always been very patient with children… and with you.
“So, you two met through work? That’s how your grandparents met, you know. They always said ‘if you can work together without killing each other, you’re ready for marriage.’ Oh, I can just picture you walking down the aisle in that dress you cut out in that little scrap book of yours. I know, I said I wouldn’t snoop anymore but I can’t help it! Besides, it would look beautiful on you. Speaking of weddings, did you get the invitation for your cousin Linda’s engagement party? Guess who she didn’t invite? Aunt Jane! Oh, I still just have so much to tell you, but I digress. Honey, could you pass me the salt?”
The other four of you at the table exchanged glances for a moment, holding in your laughs. Your mother had always been a rambler, it was nice to get Spencer in on that family inside-joke now.
After dinner, and the Pokémon card museum, you both unloaded your luggage with the help of your father and headed upstairs toward your childhood room.
As you said goodnight to your parents, You felt a weight lift off. It’s over, and it went amazingly.
You and Spencer were alone now, you looked at each other and both sighed. “See? That wasn’t so bad.”
“No, you’re right,” he brings you in for an embrace, “that went super well. Thanks for bringing me.”
“Of course, Spence. I feel closer to you now that I’ve shown you a big part of my life.” You pull away, placing a soft kiss on his lips.
“Me too, that was fun.” His gaze shifts to the room around you. “It might be hard for the both of us to fit in that twin bed though.”
You grimace, “yeah, I didn’t think about that…”
Spencer makes his way through the room, studying each surface. “What’s this? Ooo, the famous wedding scrapbook!” He smirks at you, giggling to himself.
“Spencer, put that down! I’m serious.”

Anyway back to Lily. She has helpfully given me another opportunity to give you a preview of what the Dragon Age stream will be like. Finish Inquisition and make your terrible 3rd video already Lily. I finished it in a month doing only 2 streams a week, including The Descent and Trespasser DLCs (and most of Hakkon, I never beat that dragon tho lol.)
[Lily's Post]
Dragon Age: Origins - Lily you played the City Elf origin. You got extra elf ghetto content. Did you miss the entire main story subplot of Loghain allowing Tevinter slavers to kidnap elves from Denerim's alienage under the guise of quarantining people due to a plague? Were you and your wife too busy talking about pointless bullshit over cutscenes to pay attention? Or did you just spacebar hammer your way through? Did you even finish the game?
Dragon Age 2 - Lily you managed to play almost the entire series without realizing the Templars are an arm of the Chantry. That they're a monastic-like order that people are typically recruited into as children. That the Chantry keeps control of them with the lyrium dust that also fuels their magic cancelling powers and will eventually addle their senses like mercury poisoning.
If you think Tranquility is "brainwashing" then... you REALLY weren't paying attention. Making mages that have passed their Harrowing into a Tranquil is actually against Chantry law. Kirkwall's Circle was doing it illegally because it's one of the worst Circles in one of the most violent cities and their Knight-Commander was going insane under the influence of red lyrium. That's not every Circle in the world. No matter what Anders says.
Speaking of Anders... you did finish the game right? You seem to be completely ignoring what was the inciting incident for the conflict boiling over at the end. Don't make me cheat and peek at your video ahead of time, I like reacting to videos blind.
Dragon Age: Inquisition - What the fuck are you even talking about? If you mean the Exalted March on Halamshiral that happened centuries ago in canon. In fact there's so many elves in Halamshiral its more like the entire city is an alienage and the humans wall themselves off.
Or else you're talking about devout Andrastians like Cassandra poking at a Dalish elf about believing in the Maker? Cause only the Dalish aren't Andrastian you know. Most City Elves are. Skill issue either way, my very fiercely Dalish Inquisitor made friends with her. My Quiz didn't even let her stupid egg boyfriend remove her vallaslin.
You haven't even finished the game yet. Of course that hasn't stopped you from writing your script as you go along. And you're clearly not paying attention to the plot if that's your only take away.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard - Yeah Lily every single critic and fan is complaining about the sanitization of the world in Veilguard because it was cobbled from a disastrous idea of making an MMO out of the series after they cancelled development of a fourth game twice already. It's a miracle we got fucking anything.
I won't pretend I didn't enjoy having every single one of my lore theories validated. And being surprised by a few lore reveals I didn't even see coming. I still enjoyed seeing cities in the north of Thedas we'd only ever heard of. I was very happy to see the Grand Necropolis. Also Emmrich is best girl, best new character in the entire series, 10/10 no complaints, I love Mr. Rogers Vincent Prince.
Dat combat system is still amazing though. Too bad it came at the expense of the writing this time.
