it took me years (like a decade) to realize that my downfall every month was because of it
#no but seriously#i never understood why i everything was going so so fine#and then the next day i was just so low in energy that i could barely get up of the bed to eat#so i would skip college ghost my work and get depressed because i was worthless#and then a week later everything was fine again#but the pressure i always would put myself under in the low energy week was so bad that it would permeate my everyday#because hey i'm doing fine right now#but this won't last#and then i'm 23 and having a fucking break of college and have suddenly time to listen to my body#so now when i notice my pms is getting ready to off myself i just...let it? just relax and try do the things that make me happy and comfy#because i know it will pass#even though it will also comeback#i'm still learning about myself and i plan to talk my gymnecologist about it#so yeah#sometimes you're close to your period#pretending i'm on twitter#pms#uterus#menstruation

It would have made a much better story if hope was a weak witch if they had to make her a tribrid (or idk actually give hope a witch mother cause atp the only witches in her family that are contributing to her genes are her grandmother, and great (supposed to be native) ancestors it makes no sense how even if she has magic she’s powerful 😒)
atleast with some witches we know some are powerful enough to do anything and take down any enemy but their still mortal and slow (can be taken down if a werewolf or vamp speeds and sneak attacks them before they can react) and vice versa with werewolves and vampires their physically powerful but can be taken down by magic.
Her being a weak witch means we can see her struggle, threats/enemies actually mean something because then there no question of why cant hope do a [magical solution] to save the day. It would mean we get to see hope actually learn and grow in her identity. It means she has a flaw
But ig julie didn’t want her own reseeme to even have a hint of weakness, i mean seriously in addition to hope being powerful she’s also super intelligent. She’s has both brains and brawn all im asking is for a physical flaw not a personality or emotional one.

#Probably my last CEO of complaining post for now…#I wish they didn’t have “Season on Memories” as the pre-release#Kills literally all the hype because it’s the title track and the mv comes out a week later#I feel like they started rushing this entire thing and didn’t put in as much care as expected#(Y’all know well I’m not talking about the members)#But obviously starting off with the crazy editing (how do you mess up that badly and miss a whole arm)?#The graphic designing I thought was fine but they’ve def had better#And the way Source Music has promoted the whole thing worked at the beginning#And built up a whole bunch of hype#And so I think most people expected a whole album and not just two songs (unless we get rerecordings)#And so for the price point I almost feels like a rip off (but it could just be me)#Merch was minimalistic (but they also did that to all the artists under HYBE so not too surprised)#And since they hyped up the album so much they really needed to live up to it#And having the title track as the pre-release felt so underwhelming cause I just went “ AHHH this is so good” not “OMGAHISHAJA”#They should have gave us a part of “Season of Memories” and then give us “Always” as the pre-release#And the GDA performance wasn’t mindblowing#I know they’re busy but instead of the “Season of Memories” what about a dance break and good transition (literal trademark of theirs)#Now I just feel like “Season of Memories” is an AMAZING song but with how they released everything it felt very lackluster#And not like the ultimate comeback it’s supposed to be even though it is!#WHYYYYY#Who is their marketing team 😭 I wanna have a talk with them#I think that’s all I can think of right now#GFriend#They better not ruin the rest of it thank you for coming to me Ted talk#OMG I FORGOT#THE AMOUNT OF SOWON LINES#If y’all could make sure she had 20 seconds of lines before why is it any different this time?#Genuinely hoping she gets a lot more of lines in “Always”

i’m actually so happy i’m back in my kpop phase
#i mean ive been listening to it since 2020#but like#maybe a year ago i stopped paying close attention to my favourite groups and news and comebacks and stuff#and also i stopped watching their content on youtube and all that#i thought it was really over#which was really sad to me because it was so short lived#and i remember being such a huge fan in quarantine#like it’s all i listened to#it’s all i watched#it got to a point where i didn’t even remember what other entertainment i consumed before kpop 😔#and all the groups i was a fan of really helped me through quarantine and my junior year#but i guess that period when i grew out of it was character growth?? yay we love that#but now it’s back and i actually am so happy bc it’s so nostalgic :’) and i remember how comforting kpop is to me#and also just how gooooood the music is#idk im just happy!#im listening to it more#and im watching content on youtube (it’s not the only thing though😭 i made sure to not do that again)#but yeah#i had a theory that i just rotate through my comfort media and i feel like this is proving it#i think my maze runner phase is coming back#everything is so full circle#anyways#˚｡ ⋆୨୧˚ dear diary… 💌

my favourite thing abt tumblr mass-finding out about the origins of the “poor little meow meow” phrase is a couple of people in the tags, who listen to things like, i assume, punk or rap, going “oh so THIS is what people got so emotional over? wow they wouldn’t last a day over here” or “ah, this, yeah a couple of guys from our side did it too”. refreshing
