Hey so I had to pay the county back $230 because they gave me too much in food stamps or i was gonna get sent to collections…since I only worked 4 days last week (we were given the day off for Christmas) my paycheck wasn’t enough of a parachute. If someone could help me scrounge up like $100 so i can have at least a couple dollars after paying rent til I next get paid…hopefully this is the last time I have to ask for help 🥺

Apart from, y’know, not having any water right now I’m way past needing an emergency plumber on, y’know, Big Holiday Eve. Sure I’d like to be able to take a shower and flush after I pee and all the other water-based household activities you don’t appreciate until you can’t do them, but also like. I was trying not to be a Karen at anybody working this weekend and now I’ve got a hole in my ceiling :/

The more I think about Sylvie being a Loki variant and Loki falling for her the more I just go...why?

Like Sylvie is from the comics, she's Sylvie Lushton the Enchantress what's the point of making her a Loki?

Because Loki is a narcissist and obviously can't love anyone but himself? Even if you accept that premise (I don't btw), the whole point of the story is that Loki is supposed to be improving, becoming a better person or whatnot.

Wouldn't it make more sense for character development for him to start caring for someone who isn't himself or a version of himself? Why put in the narcissism angle? Why does Sylvie have to be a Loki?

Like even the narrative can't seem to decide if she's a Loki. She says she's not a Loki. She says she and he are the same. She says I'm not you.

She's Schrödinger's Loki - she exists in an undefined state being simultaneously Loki and not Loki until the narrative forces her to take one of the two positions. I guess in theory that sounds smart but in practice it's just bloody confusing like everything in quantum mechanics is.

we're soooo close to being able to go public and have a union vote at work but we need 65 new yesses before the end of February and I'm like the only one doing work 😩
