Oh, I've been reading it, it's currently in my bookmarks actually, and it's pretty lovely

but I thiiiink that fic has Crowley turn back into Twinkliel instead of having them both exist at the same time, which is what my idea was skbfs

I know there's a similar fic to that that was written before s2 came out where Crowley gets split into his demonic and angelic halves (find it here), buuut this isn't what this is either

Think of it as Aziraphale accidentally making a new Twinkliel out of an older record of Crowley in the Book of Life

The point here being that they're not the same person, Twinkliel's name was,,, lets say "smudged", and on top of it, Crowley's was written.

Aziraphale tried miracling the "smudge" to combine with Crowley's current name but he ended up separating them and making Twinkiel part 2 electric boogaloo

Crowley's still the same (aka still has memories of his fall and life as an angel) because his current name encompasses those experiences already

If you're an artist you can see this as restoring an older, unfinished version of a piece in paint tool sai whilst still having the finished piece file open in another tab

Howdy just wanted to let you know how much I love your fantasy AI and how cute the designs are!

Assuming you meant Fantasy AU haha- Thank you! Ive admittedly been playing with their design a little in the background (And it hink I posted some sketches before? though im unsure if I tagged them) since some of them looked. a little too human ((sorry archie i LOVE selkies but untransformed it truly is just a fur coat. which. isnt great for a more tropical setting)) but the core of it has never changed lol I love modern fantasy

The designs are half inspired by Pokémon now, though not tooooo intensly.

Max is still mosty faun, but leant a little more into full furry for him I guess. Cope old man.

Archie has been changed from selkie which HORTS but alas i lacked the skills to draw him cool. He's just a general mercreature now. He has legs but he's half fish in design he can breathe underwater. You get it

Others I've had thoughts on:

May gets to be torchic in harpy form. She's a rare case, as she can naturally do some magic! She can Breathe Fire. Very fun for her parents. She can't fly, but she can kind of flutter- which is great for parkouring around! Active kid. Due to lacking arms/hands she uses her legs/talons for most things instead

I want Courtney to be Meowstic inspired, probably with some/devil/demon inspo for the monster part? But I admittedly haven't thought of a design Im happy with yet. She also has some natural magic! Again, not supposed to be very common. She can levitate stuff and throw around psychic shockwaves if she's mad. She tried studying to be a witch for a little while, but she didn't really like it.

Lisia is Mostly Just Regular Lisia except the cloud fluff on her outfit is part of her lol. She's a combination of Swablu inspired and a full on wind spirit. She looks normal most of the time but if a strong wind catches on her physical form literally temporarily blows away into clouds. She can control the condensation in the air around her- which is almost entirely useless, except she can use it to create rainbows behind her. Great idol trick

Zinnia gets some fun dragon traits, and also lives up to her Lorekeeper title. While there's plenty of common spells written down and going around, Zinnia has access to and protects a lot of more powerfull forgotten stuff. Most imporantly Delta Magic, which... Functions via Totally Not Mega Stones, and allows the user unlimited access to type magic for as long as it's active. It's pretty draining, but it's the only time that actual world changing magic can be made to happen, rather then more mundane or minor stuff

dude like i did my part in theorising about dan howell's identity years ago i'm over it dbsjchdjf we know he dgaf about pronouns and from everything he's told us it's pretty safe to say bestie isn't binary, but if he wants a specific label then he can share that with us when he feels comfortable, i'm not really interested in debating it

idk i've said it before but as a nonbinary person myself i think it's very freeing to use "contradicting" "gendered terms" for yourself as you wish and preferably without someone immediately labelling you anything specific for it

that's not to say i have any ill will towards anyone who's very passionate about the subject, i totally get it and of course it would be exciting to hear dan share more thoughts on gender, but for me personally i'm not gonna go any deeper on it y'know?

oh one thing though! i do see some people sometimes be weirdly um. binary about it? like i get you mean well but i really don't think being like 'dan wants to wear more skirts so he's a woman' is very productive 😭

Does… does that imply that, at least in your fic, Zestial had a crush on Pentious. Then Pentious died and got possessed by God. If so, I cannot WAIT for that reaction!

What's your opnion on youtube comments on Dan and Phil apology? Personally after the ay that YouTube treated Dan Howell I would be pissed, like San may not hold grudges but I do <3 also the WAD thing

youtube the company is different than the youtube brand which is different than the youtube copyright system.

the people involved with youtube originals who cancelled dan's plans/went back on their word are not the same people leaving comments on dapg--though, that would be a hilarious way to try to atone. i'd bet most of the people working there now, especially the ones writing comments for dnp, have no idea about the sordid history here. and the copyright issue with WAD wasn't because it was dan--it was an automatic flag in the system, which dan knew would happen hence him jumping through all the needed hoops ahead of time (getting permission, buying the license, labelling it correctly). it's just that youtube's copyright system is extremely flawed (especially concerning music), and even if you do everything right sometimes youtube says fuck you regardless. though... now that we say that are we sure that they're not all the same

like i hold grudges too but this situation is not that black and white--if dan really hated youtube as a whole that much he would've never appeared on the platform again. is it his favourite? no. but he wears his big boy pants and can recognize the differences between departments, as well as cause and effect
