taken in by the sullys (3) / sully family x human!daughter/sister!reader
synopsis, fifteen years fly by and your family just keeps growing as you fight the stigma of being the clan leaders' human child... aka moments between you and your infant/toddler siblings
(1) / (2) / (3 - ur here! ☆) / (4*)
+ chapters with an * beside it means that it’s following atwow plot line as opposed to disconnected scenarios
+ takes place just before atwow! this is a much longer chapter T-T
neteyam
moments before he was to connect with eywa, you sat quietly next to him as jake and neytiri bustled around to prepare for the ceremony
you leaned over the side of his cradle, poking his blue skin. he squirmed before focusing his eyes on you. you could tell he was intrigued — you were different than all the faces he'd seen today.
you lowered your voice, whispering to conceal your conversation from jake and neytiri.
"hey." you nodded to him. "i'm y/n. i'm your big sister. well, not real big sister, but still." you shrugged.
you stepped onto the side of the wooden frame, getting some height over where he lay. "you're pretty big for a baby, you know. you're as big as me already. but that doesn't mean you don't have to listen to me, you know." you wagged a finger in his face.
he tilted his head, and you weren't sure if he was getting any of what you were saying. you continued anyway.
"mom says i'm better than the other na'vi kids my age. i can already hunt and fight. she says i have an unnatural gift." you whispered.
"but..." you sighed, stroking his head softly. "i guess i can teach you, too. and it's okay if you suck. i'll be there to protect you."
neytiri and jake exchanged endeared looks, their backs turned to you and the newborn to give you the privacy you thought you had.
if there was one thing you had to let go of quickly, it was your pride
the clan practically worshipped little neteyam — firstborn son of the fierce neytiri and legendary jake sully? they celebrated for weeks
though young, you were still aware you were different, that you didn't exactly belong among the na'vi... but you didn't mind the dirty looks if it meant staying around your family
plus a new baby brother was more than enough joy to offset the feelings of exclusion
you were fluent in na'vi long before neteyam came along, and you took charge teaching him to speak, walk, even string an bow
perhaps you took charge a little too well
"y/n." jake warned. "put him down."
your brother was only a few months old, yet you were manhandling him as if he'd grown enough to withstand the rough grabbing and pulling.
you were surprisingly strong for a human kid your age (you can thank neytiri for that), allowing you to hold neteyam in your arm with ease.
"no." you said simply.
jake gave you a look. of course you had to enter a rebellious phase right when neteyam was very fragile.
"y/n."
you groaned. "what?"
"don't make me get your mother."
"i'm teaching him."
"he doesn't need to be taught right now, sweetheart." jake said gently, approaching you with caution and attempting to take neteyam off your hands.
"he's just lying around all day!" you rebutted, swerving away from him. the flush of speed made neteyam chirp softly in excitement as he gazed up at you. you smiled at pat his head briskly. "might as well fill the time up with something." you mumbled as you stroked his bald head.
"that's a good idea, but how about something less dangerous?" jake grinned widely, trying to sell his point. he held up a ball and some toy blocks. "huh? come on, what d'you say?"
you gave him an unimpressed look, not bothering to answer him as you swiftly turned around and exited the tent. ignoring the sharp noise of protest from jake behind you, you smiled proudly at your brother and nuzzled into his head.
"you're gonna be a great olo'eyktan one day, brother." you assured him. "but first, we gotta get away from dad and teach you how to walk n' stuff."
he babbled in agreement.
in the year when it was just you and neteyam, you bonded inseparably
he was always behind you, like a puppy chasing a little duck around
there was a time when other clan members were a bit concerned that he was spending more time with you than other na'vi children
"neytiri, listen to reason." one omaticaya woman told her.
neytiri was sharpening weapons with some of the other women, all sitting in a circle in a time where they were supposed to be exchanging stories and dreaming about the future. but some chose to gossip and condemn.
"i am listening, though i would not call it reason." neytiri shot back.
"your son is descended from great lineage. consider having him romp around with his own kind instead of an unwanted child."
neytiri hissed, slamming her arrows down. the other women ducked their heads to avoid her anger. "that child is very much wanted. in a million years, i would not believe i would grow so close to a human child, but it has happened. i chose to stop lying to myself long ago."
the woman scoffed, looking around the circle incredulously. "are you hearing what you are saying? we fought hard to eradicate the sky people from our land and you have one growing among us."
neytiri glared. "once, the great mother brought a sky person into our lives, and look at the good that's come of it. eywa watches over this child in the same way. she is special."
despite neytiri's argument, the other women continued to nudge their kids into neteyam's daily routine
for a week, you barely saw him
you stayed in the hut, like usual, watching them play in the grass outside
you rarely emerged from the safety of your home in fear of the judgmental looks you'd receive—it was fine, until you had a brother to miss.
"why don't you go out there?" jake crouched beside you. "m'sure neteyam would appreciate a familiar face."
you gave him a weird look that clearly said no.
he sighed and brought your head into his side, hugging you tightly. in these moments, he didn't know what to say to you. he had no qualifications for being a father, for shaping a young one's whole life, and it was becoming all the more real to him in this instance.
he was about to speak up when you mumbled, "i know they don't want me here."
jake cursed internally. "they... they just misplace their hatred and anger, baby. that kinda stuff is for adults only. they should know better than to denounce a perfect little angel like you." he smiled, pinching your cheek gently.
silence filled the room once more.
you looked up at him, fighting with feelings of unease you couldn't name. "... you want me here, right?"
jake's heart split in two. he cupped your face firmly, holding your gaze. "y/n. 'course i want you here, baby. you're my first little girl, and i would never give you up, not for anyone. i don't care if our life is a little different because you're around. besides, you've more than proven your ability to hold your own."
his declaration warmed your heart until you felt like there was a furnace of love burning inside you.
"i was once human too, you know. you remember, don't you?" he paused as you nodded. "see? for you and us, it's not about being human or na'vi. it's about being our little girl and us being your parents. that's the type of thing where it doesn't matter what you are. you could be... i dunno."
"a worm?"
he chuckled. "yeah. you could be a worm and i'd still love you to death."
a thud caught both of your attention. neteyam grunted as he propped himself up again.
"huh?" you glanced out the window. the other na'vi kids were still out there. you hopped off the windowsill and rushed to his side, helping him stand. "what are you doing back here? your friends are still outside."
he just made a face of distaste, shaking his head.
"looks like he prefers big sis instead." jake grinned, squeezing your shoulders as he passed by. "you two be safe—y/n, no funny business. and don't think about starting a fire."
he left you two playing as he went to have a word with some clan members.
kiri
since both of you were adopted, you related to kiri in a way. you were determined to make sure she didn't feel different, especially in light of her affinity for eywa and natural things
when you and the others would go out to play, kiri would run off
you'd find her lying on the ground, embracing the earth
"kiri!" you gasp, falling to your knees beside her. you carried lo'ak on your back as neteyam toddled beside you. "you can't just run off like that on your own!"
she sat up in a daze, blinking slowly. the grass around her fell back into a lifeless state but the seeds of eywa still hung around. you gently pushed one from ticking your face.
she looked a bit sheepish, averting her eyes as she stood up to follow you. you frowned and sighed, helping lo'ak off your back. you took her hand and flopped back onto the ground.
"you know what... a couple more minutes couldn't hurt." you groaned as you stretched. you tucked your arms under your head, getting comfortable. kiri smiled and reclined beside you.
in that moment, it was as if all the energy in space aligned and you were plucked from your physical form and woven into the stream and cycle of all the energy and consciousness of pandora.
early on, you knew kiri wasn't a fighter
as in, not a let's ride into battle on the back of an ikran guns blazing type of fighter
you started teaching her about the different herbs, plants, and fruits around pandora
she sucked in everything you taught her like a sponge and soon enough it got to a point where you two were learning together
you entered the tent with a thick book clutched tightly against your chest. "kiri!" you whispered urgently.
she perked up, dashing across the room.
you let the book drop onto the ground with an oof, flipping it open. "look, kiri, it's your ma's journal!" you grinned, showing her dr. augustine's signature. you figured you'd leave out the part how you swiped it from norm and max's lab.
her face brightened at the familiar name, staring at the journal in wonder. she flipped through it, but couldn't recognize any of the text. it was all written in english, with bits of na'vi scattered here and there.
"read to me?" she asked, nudging the journal to you. she snuggled into your side as you read her birth mother's findings and conclusions to her.
jake and neytiri found you two sleeping soundly against each other.
lo'ak
lo'ak was an instigator from day one
literally came out the womb quarrelling with everyone
mo'at let a lengthy exhale escape her lungs. neytiri had just given life to her second son, lo'ak, and the boy just would not stop crying. despite all her years as a mother and tsahik, nothing she did soothed her youngest grandson.
"is he hungry?" jake offered, earning dark glares from both his wife and mother in law.
"jake."
"don't you think we tried that?"
he shrunk away, holding neteyam in his arms. he leaned against the wall beside you, giving you a shrug that said hey, i tried.
you pursed your lips, a paradoxical mix of concern and annoyance bubbling up inside of you at lo'ak's wailing. you stood, ducking under mo'at's arm and climbed onto the side of neytiri's bed. she was still talking to mo'at while rocking lo'ak in her arms.
you studied him as he cried, your patience declining by the second. with a sharp but gentle tug to his neural braid, you directed his attention to you. "what are you so upset about, lo'ak? you literally just got here." you whispered urgently.
almost surprised, his cries died down to hiccups and whimpers. you sat back as the adults in the room peered over the newborn.
"ahhh, there he is. poor baby, it's alright." mo'at smiled, stroking lo'ak's head gently. neytiri cooed softly, kissing his bald head repeatedly.
lo'ak found you very cute, though, and was extra gentle when playing with you
you were 11, and neteyam just turned 7, and both kiri and lo'ak were 6 (kiri just a couple months older than lo'ak)
so you had a whole litter of hyperactive kids
you were an overworked big sister lol
and lo'ak was a middle child through and through — with neteyam being the eldest and kiri being a special case, lo'ak didn't get a lot of chances to stand out
thus starting a rebellious streak
but he always got a loooot of love and attention from you
"these are the ones you want, lo'ak?" you hummed. you swirled the bowl around, watching the beads roll at the bottom. "i like the blue."
he fell into your lap with a grumble, his back to you. you just snickered. "what'd you get grounded for this time?"
he scoffed and crossed his arms. "don't wanna talk about it."
"okay." you pat his shoulder before taking out his old braids.
a beat passed.
"all i did was follow neteyam outside. so what if i tried to use his bow?" he complained.
you smiled as he ranted—it was like clockwork.
"it's not like he tried to stop me, either. i didn't even come that close to hurting anything. my aim was off." he complained. "besides, weren't you doing stuff like that when you were younger than i am?"
"yeah," you answered, massaging his scalp. "but i actually sat through all my lessons."
he scoffed, stewing in silence.
you softened. "sorry. don't want a lecture, huh?" you continued to do his hair, and slipping in the beads he wanted.
"next time, you and i should go together." he muttered. "i'm done hanging around little mr. perfect."
"bold words from the kid who looks up to little mr. perfect." you gave him a knowing look and he huffed, avoiding your gaze.
you pat his head and made little jazz hands. "tadaaa. all done!"
he didn't move from your lap.
"lo'ak, i'm done—"
"i know." he muttered softly. you understood what he needed. you laughed and hugged him tightly. he wasn't so little anymore—none of them were. your laughter was infectious and he started to smile, too.
"house arrest isn't that bad. you can hang out with me while the others gotta train with mom and dad." you said, self-satisfied.
he smiled, rolling his eyes. "i guess."
you stood, rifling through your trunk of stuff. "maybe bow and arrows aren't your thing. wanna try a gun instead?" you held one up.
lo'ak's ears stood up, his eyes wide. "y/n!" he exclaimed, looking around as he lowered his voice. "how do you even have that?!"
"dad taught me." you grinned, swiftly removing the bullets. can't be too safe. "just don't tell anyone, okay?"
he matched your grin, nodding fervently. he ran to your side and eagerly watched your demonstrations.
tuk
for 7 years, it was just you, neteyam, kiri, and lo'ak. then all of a sudden, neytiri and jake announced they had another on the way
everyone was excited of course, and the debate on whether it was going to be a boy or girl was lively
you, personally, hoped for a baby sister
you had two baby brothers already! and they were handfuls.
when tuk finally came, lo'ak and kiri were 7, neteyam was 8, and you were 12
she learned to walk and speak faster to keep up with everyone
this set the precedent for how she hangs out with each other too
"tuk." lo'ak groaned, stopping to wait for the youngest sully. "you were the one who said you could keep up."
"i can!" she whined, clumsily hopping across the small gap between branches.
lo'ak rolled his eyes, walking off to join neteyam in the front. kiri was off... somewhere, connecting with the energy of everything probably.
you shook your head at your brother's behavior. you offered your hand to tuk, pulling her up onto the branch.
"they're so mean to me," she fussed. "they never wait for me."
"i know, tuk. give yourself a year or two and you'll be as fast as them in no time."
she grumbled, strolling alongside you. "you're smaller than i am. how do you keep up with them?"
you blew a raspberry. "lots of practice."
she started skipping, the branch teetering under her steps. "i just wanna hang out with them."
"they don't do anything cool anyway," you whisper to her conspiratorially. "it's all about shooting arrows and training these days. come on," you held out your hand. "i got something better for us."
she beamed and slotted her hand in yours. you both ran off together, all giggles and whoops of excitement.
you got to the end of the path, leaping off the branch and into the waterhole below.
she screamed, coming to a halt at the edge of the branch. "it's too high!"
you surfaced, wading onto shore. "don't worry, tuk, it's deep enough to break your fall!"
"i'll miss the water!"
"trust me!" you yell up to her. she made a brief sound of protest before stepping back. screwing her eyes shut, she ran with all her might and jumped off. she screamed all the way down.
you laughed at her, blocking your face from the splash. she surfaced with a gasp, laughing brightly.
"i did it!"
the early years were the easiest. but once the sky people returned, everything was different.
!! from now on, i'm gonna make alternating parts—one storyline following the events of atwow and the other just a compilation of fluff/comfort scenarios. for example, the next part is gonna be plot based and then the following part is just gonna be silly goofy moments. and it'd keep alternating til the atwow plot is done !!
thanks for reading!!

003. CARNATIONS
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Shoto is a lot like Touya.
He's currently reading over his older brother's progress report quietly. Shoto was barely seventeen, but he was incredibly mature for his age. Out of all the Todorokis, no one was more dedicated to Touya's recovery than his youngest brother.
Shoto doesn't talk much. You would soon learn it's not because he was shy or anything, he was just a naturally quiet person. Meeting him in person for the first time surprised you a bit. He would write to you often—telling you all he remembered about his big brother and details from the war.
The villain 'Dabi' used to be all over the news. You remember his early days in the League, where he'd first made his big debut. You'd be studying in your room, the small TV playing recent events and information on the League of Villains. Their pictures would be plastered everywhere as the most wanted villains in all of Japan.
He was made out as a person to fear—the whole League was. His name was dragged through the mud online, and his persona to the world was one of a merciless killer who had no heart.
If only you knew he'd become someone you would soon grow to know.
"I'm glad you're his doctor, Miss L/n."
You glance up at Shoto, snapping out of the daze you were in as you send him a surprised smile
Shoto and Touya's features are very similar. Both of them have the same, soft curl of their lips when they're trying to smile, something they obviously don't do often. Their noses are alike too—you can see the small pieces of them in each other. If you could point out the similarities between them even when most of Touya's skin was covered with bandages, you thought about how much more alike they'd look after Touya was healed completely.
He talks fondly about his brother, even after all he went through—Shoto doesn't show even a hint of anger towards Touya.
"When can I meet him?"
Shoto's smile is a small one, but the gleam of unwavering hope in his eyes is heartwarming to see. He truly does love Touya.
"We're nearing the end of his first month here. So I'd like to say soon! His communication skills with me show that he's able to hold conversations and express his emotions to a certain degree. But I'd like to give him a little more time, Shoto. What he went through was years of mental and physical strain. I want him to be comfortable with the idea of seeing you again. Do you think you can hold out a little longer for me?" You ask gently, and Shoto blinks in response before slowly nodding his head
"Of course. I... that was wrong of me to ask so early. I don't think he'd like to see me, anyways." He says with a bittersweet smile. His tone held no resentment, and you reach forward to hold his hand. His fingers fit snug in yours, and after a moment—he gives your hand a thankful squeeze.
It looked like Shoto and Touya's relationship would be one of the many things you would help mend.
Shoto left after half an hour, his heart feeling lighter than when he first came.
You were exactly what Touya deserved.
Tumblr media
You were slowly learning that Touya had a lot of odd mannerisms. With spending so much of your time with him, it would only make sense that you would pick up on them eventually.
For instance, Touya didn't care for much spicy food. He'd always make a face when you fed him something on the hotter side, begrudgingly swallowing down the food as he complained about the aftertaste it left in his mouth.
You twirl the chopsticks through his noodles idly while carefully leaning over his bandaged arms to feed him his Soba—a meal Shoto had told you of when he wrote to you about his older brother. You still remember the glimmer of surprise in Touya's eyes at the sight of what seemed to be a nostalgic meal for him.
He almost looks embarrassed by the fact that you're feeding him as he opens his mouth for you—quickly chomping down on the soft noodles as he chews slowly, watching you with narrowed eyes. It's hard not to laugh as he squints at you, the soft pale skin around his eyes crinkled even further when he spotted your small smile.
He doesn't comment on it, resorting to flicking through the few channels he was allowed to watch on the TV. His arm was draped over the side of his bed, his bandaged fingers grazing your knee every now and then from where you sat in the seat right beside his bed. He never moved his hand away when the pads of his fingertips touched you—sometimes, it seemed like he was purposely trying to poke you, but you brushed away the prospect.
"Do you like the food, Touya? It smells really good!"
He meets your gaze with a soft grunt, stretching out his legs in front of him as he nods his head.
"It's fine. Better than the shit I ate before all this." He says, waving his hand around the hospital room as you slowly nod your head
"Really? How so? What did you eat before?"
He shrugs, and the fact that he doesn't really care about his once poor diet must be what makes you tap your foot nervously against the tiled floor beneath you. His transcript said he'd been missing since he was thirteen and was in a coma until he was sixteen. Had he really been living so carelessly and alone since then?
Touya had gone through the most important development years of his life all by himself while being unable to control his quirk. You remember the day they first brought him in after the war, the pictures before his surgery were so heartbreaking to see when you were first handed his file. But doctors are truly miracle workers, and you were all trying to help him in a matter of different ways.
The price for Touya's recovery was not small.
"Well, now you're going to be eating all sorts of delicious and healthy foods! Fresh vegetables and fruits with big meals that'll fill your stomach. What we eat is really important, and you certainly need the energy from the nutrients!"
He rolls his eyes as he chews, but nods nonetheless. As you go to feed him another bite of his Soba, his nose scrunches up a bit as he leans back in his bed
"Does that bite have any broccoli in it?"
"Touya."
You managed to feed him the rest of his meal before getting him a change of clothes. A simple black lounge set that would be comfortable for him to walk outside in.
Today, you were going to bring Touya to one of your favorite places in the hospital.
He peers around the recreational garden curiously, as if he was scoping out the area for any threats. Touya's eyes are attentive and careful as he keeps an eye out on the other patients—who were simply minding their own business. This however, did not mean they were saved from Touya's menacing glares.
He walked beside you, and you had to put some distance between you and him so you didn't have to feel him towering over you as you both walked. You remain a pace ahead and you turn back to him with a soft smile that quickly captures his attention.
"You and I will have weekly walks here. The gardens are beautiful Touya—this environment is great for your mind. It allows you to relax. The other patients here are lovely, all right? They won't bother you." You say softly, and he nods his head as he finally averts his gaze from everyone else to look solely at you. Quickly, you begin walking again as you lead him down the various paths in the garden
"You're free to come here whenever you'd like! You don't really have a curfew because, well, you're not leaving the facility. But it would be ideal if you come back in time for dinner! I'm free if you ever need someone to talk to or walk with." You remind him gently, and Touya wants to nod his head and say something along the lines of 'okay, thank you' or anything decent, but he finds the words stuck in his throat.
What would the people from his past say if they saw him now? He was such a big talker. He still was, but here in your presence—he found himself almost shying away. It was embarrassing. He shouldn't be thinking so hard on how to say thank you for something so simple and stupid that left your sweet lips. Was he really that messed up? Can he not even say thank you?
You tilt your head at him with a small smile, and he's almost annoyed with how well you're able to read him. It seems like you know exactly what he's thinking whenever you look at him—sure, that was kind of your job. But it felt different for Touya, more personal.
"Thanks. I guess." He mutters, leaning against the brick wall behind him as he peers around the garden, taking in the scenery and stone arches that were made throughout the entirety of it—flowers and vines crawling up their sides as they bathed in the warm sunlight.
You spend the rest of the evening telling him all about the history of the hospital. About the founder—an honorable man—and all the people who helped make it. This was a place for new beginnings. And when you said that, you see a bit of the tension release from Touya's usually clenched fists. By the end of your walk with him, his fists had uncurled completely as they laid relaxed at his sides
Touya didn't ever seem to notice when he was invading your personal space. There were a few times where you got lost in speaking, and it always made your heart rate spike when you turned around to ask him a question, or just to check how he's faring and he'd be standing right beside you. Barely a step away from having his breath tickle your skin. But the moment you moved even an inch closer to him, it was like he suddenly became hyper-aware of his surroundings.
He didn't really know why he was so against touching people. Maybe it was because he hadn't received a lick of affection since he was a kid—and even then, his life was so messed up that he can't even remember liking the tenderness of a hug or a kiss from a loved one.
Now that he thinks about it, Touya's never really had anyone to touch.
So when he's lowering himself onto the hospital bed with a tired sigh at night, he freezes when he feels your soft hand pressing itself onto his upper arm.
"Let me help—"
"Don't touch me."
He wants to take the words back the moment the words leave his mouth. But even then, he quickly slips out of your grasp and sits on the edge of the bed. He's laying down and peering up at the ceiling with a grimace. Ashamed.
Please don't hate me, are the first words that come to his mind when he squeezes his eyes shut. He'd understand, is what he tells himself—if you walked out and left him right then and there. He must be becoming such a burden, such a pain for you—
Touya feels a soft blanket being thrown over his long frame, the fabric quickly covering him as you peer over the bed and hover over him. His breath hitches in his throat as you do, mainly at the sight of you peering down at him so nicely. It makes his chest feel unbearably tight.
"Goodnight, Touya."
You're met with silence. You turn his lamp off, and he lays quietly as he watches you pack up your things. Clipboards and pens and cards from a small game you two had played after breakfast all go into your bag. The moonlight streaming through the window is the only form of light he needs to see that you're not angry with him. Your eyes don't look mad—you look perfectly content as you pack your bag as you routinely do.
You sling your bag over your shoulder once you're all packed, leaving the room as quietly as you had entered in the morning. Touya doesn't know how long he stays awake for, but he stares at the glow in the dark stars plastered on his ceiling until he can see them shining even after he closes his eyes.
It was going to be another long, sleepless night for him.

Kate mini version
Anthony Bridgerton x Kate Sharma x sis!reader
summary: Kate's sister is sent to live with Kate and Anthony by her mother who had to travel to India and couldn't take her. Feeling that she was unwanted and intruding on the Bridgerton couple's lives, Y/n starts acting distant. When Anthony and Kate realize this, they try to make Y/n see how much she is loved by everyone
requested: yes
part 1 part 2 part 3
Tumblr media
Y/n was sitting in her carriage for 5 minutes, not having the courage to open the door. She was outside the Viscount and Viscountess Bridgerton mansion, in other words her sister and her brother-in-law. Her hands trembled in her lap as she took a deep breath to try to calm her anxiety and her irregular heartbeat.
Her mother Mary had to travel to India and decided to not let her youngest go with her. As Y/n was still too young to consider it safe to keep her at home alone, even with maids, Mary asked Anthony and Kate to welcome her into their home.
Ever since Mary's older daughter found a husband and went to live a new life, Y/n felt that her relationship with her mother got worse.
The house was quieter, both of them no longer had the usual company of the other sisters. It made Y/n realize how she couldn’t hold a conversation with Mary, at least not like Kate and Edwina. It also didn't help that Y/n was extremely similar to their father, who had already died. It seemed like Mary was grieving again for her late lover, and Y/n was the cause of it.
So, like a snowball effect, Y/n couldn't help but think that Kate and Anthony were just taking her in out of obligation, since they were family, but that she was actually considered a burden for them.
"Would you like for me to open the door, Miss?" the maid who accompanied her asked with a gentle smile.
"There is no need for that, Anne. Thank you." she replied, snapping out of her thoughts.
With a last deep breath, Y/n opened the door just as Anthony and Kate were leaving the house. As soon as she saw them, Y/n bowed slightly. When she lifted her head again she found the two of them with a smile directed at her. But even so, she had doubts, after all, in this society, everyone had learned to master the fake polite smile. Kate hurried to her, pulling her into a tight hug.
"Y/n! It's so nice to have you here. The house can get so quiet when the Viscount is working. It'll be great to have our conversations like we had before." Kate whispered in her ear, Y/n only responding with a small smile.
Anthony approached the younger Sharma to greet her, Y/n bowing again. "Lord Bridgerton, thank you for your hospitality. It was very kind of you."
"By all means, Miss Y/n, you are family. Now let's come inside, Phillip can bring your belongings to your room." Anthony said, linking his arm with his wife and starting to head towards the room where the maids were setting the table for the tea.
Y/n followed behind the couple, her steps cautious. She looked at the huge mansion and sighed, her fears continuously running through her mind. This was going to be a very long month.
───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────
It was still quite early, the sun's rays barely illuminating the mansion. However, Y/n was already awake and ready for the day. She went down to the kitchen, wanting to help the cooks and maids. It was the least she could do, since now they were cooking for one more person and the day before they had brought her a rather late meal since she didn't eat all of dinner.
The maids were surprised to see the youngest Sharma in the kitchen, tying an apron around her waist. However, with a lot of resistance on Y/n's part, they let the girl help. Y/n had a lot of fun, the maids had a good relationship with each other, throwing in some jokes from time to time that made her laugh.
Y/n was placing the last dish on the table. She had to admit that everything looked great. The food varied from fruit to various cakes and breads. Just in time, Anthony entered the kitchen, stopping in surprise when he saw Y/n there.
"Miss Sharma, I wasn't expecting you to be awake already. It's quite early."
"I'm a morning person, Lord Bridgerton." Y/n chuckled, running her hands down her dress nervously. She then pointed to the table, desperate not to remain in an awkward silence. "Breakfast is ready."
"I see that, everything looks great." he sat at the end of the table. Y/n remained standing, looking around, causing Anthony to hesitate before asking, "Aren't you going to sit down to eat too?"
"Oh! I already ate with the maids, thank you. Hm, is my sister awake?"
Anthony clears his throat, looking down. A frown appeared on Y/n's face when she saw the man's cheeks start to turn pink. "Your sister is still sleeping. She was not feeling well last night so she couldn't sleep much."
"Very well..." The girl nodded slowly. "I shall bring her tea when she wakes up. Until then, I was hoping I could go on for a walk in the gardens? Please?"
"Of course, Y/n, you don't have to ask." Anthony nodded, wiping his mouth with a napkin after drinking some orange juice. "Do you want me to ask a maid to go with you and keep you company?"
"No, it's okay, I prefer to go alone."
"No problem. In the afternoon we should go to my mother's house to play pall-mall. It would be lovely if you decided to join us."
"Oh, I'm not sure yet. I wouldn't want to interrupt your family time." Y/n looked away so as not to show the sadness she felt.
She had never even met Anthony's family properly, only meeting them briefly at the couple's wedding. Either way, with all the stories she'd heard from Kate, she doubted she'd be able to fit into the family dynamic. She was afraid that Anthony was only extending the invitation to her out of obligation to now be living with them, after all, she had never been invited even when her two sisters were.
However, with all these thoughts, the girl did not see the frown that appeared on her sister's husband's face. What do you mean she didn't want to interrupt family time when it was part of it?
Although his family never spent much time with Y/n, it was just because since she was younger, they thought she would feel more comfortable with her mother instead of being dragged around with Edwina and Kate to every event. She had lost her father and moved countries, they didn't want to overwhelm her. However, Anthony's siblings really wanted to meet her, especially Francesca and Hyacinth, who wanted to have a new friend.
"Y/n, you are family. My siblings would love to spend more time with you, especially my sisters." Anthony finally said.
"I will think about it." Y/n offered him a small smile out of politeness. "I will be heading to the gardens. Let me know if you need me. Excuse me, Lord Bridgerton."
When Y/n finally left the dining room, Anthony rubbed a hand over his face in frustration. He really needed to talk to his wife about this.
───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────
Y/n was lying down on the grass, enjoying the sun's rays that warmed her skin, when Kate found her. After Anthony told her about what happened at breakfast, Kate knew there was something wrong with her younger sister.
Anthony's wife lay down beside Y/n, alerting her to her presence. Y/n lifted her head, offering her sister a small smile. "Are you feeling better?"
"Pardon?" Kate frowned, not understanding the question. Her mouth opened in realization as she remembered what Anthony had told her with a light blush. "Oh, yes, I'm fine. Nothing that a few more hours of sleep couldn't solve."
"I'm glad." Y/n closed her eyes again, enjoying the sunny day.
"Are you enjoying your time here? Lord Bridgerton told me that you cooked with the maids today." Kate said after a few moments of silence.
"Yes, they were lovely. I wanted to help."
"If you had a good time then there's no problem. But you know you don't need to get up early to cook for us. I want you to have fun and be comfortable while you're here."
Y/n remained silent. Her hand started messing with the grass, a way to distract herself. "I know." she replied with a small voice.
"Do you?" the elder Sharma raised her eyebrows teasingly.
But Y/n remained silent, a small frown forming on her face as she thought about what Kate said. In turn, Kate felt her heart tighten with guilt. As she looked at her little sister, she remembered when she was a baby and made exactly the same face when she thought. A sigh escaped her lips, missing having Y/n's company all day.
The three Sharma sisters used to spend every waking moment together, strolling around the garden or simply relaxing in silence. But now, with Kate married and Edwina being courted by the prince, they didn't think about how it would affect Y/n.
"Tell me what is really wrong." Kate asked with sad eyes. Y/n sat down, opening her mouth to start speaking, but nothing came out. "Y/n, I'm sorry I haven't spent much time with you. But I love you, and I want you to be comfortable being here with me and Anthony."
"You didn't just let me stay out of obligation?" the younger sister asked shyly, refusing to look into Kate's eyes, who had also sat up and was trying to lift Y/n's chin with her hand.
"No! In fact, I was the one who asked mother to let you stay with me instead of considering you going with her to India. We wanted you here. I miss seeing my little sister every day. It can get lonely when Anthony works, and I love having you here."
"Really? But when you're bored, don't you visit Lord Bridgerton's siblings?"
"Yes, but no one can replace you. And I'm always talking about you to them, from all the stories I've told, I think they like you more than me!" Kate laughed, her smile widening when Y/n also chuckled. "I'm sure they would be delighted for you to go with us to play pall-mall."
"Hmm, I'm not sure. What if they don't like me?"
"Oh!" Anthony's wife gasped as if it was the most ridiculous idea. "That's impossible! With your heart and your kindness, they would be fools to not like you!"
"I really missed you." Y/n admitted, resting her head on Kate's shoulder.
"Me too. And after mother comes back, our house is still open. You can come here whenever you wish."
"Thank you, Kate. I'm glad you found Anthony, you seem very happy."
"I am happy." Kate assured her. "And just because I am married now, nothing changes between us. You are still my priority."
"Thank you. And I believe a game of pall-mall is not the worst thing in the world. I will join you." the younger girl nodded with a smile, gaining confidence from her sister's words.
"Great! Then you'll also get to see Lord Bridgerton be a sore loser when I win."
───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────
She was already starting to regret her decision when she saw Anthony's family in the garden, already bickering with each other. She and her sisters were competitive, but not at this level.
"Dear siblings, if you could please just listen to me first." Anthony caught their attention with a sarcastic smile. "This is Miss Y/n, Kate's younger sister. She will be joining us today."
"Another Sharma? We are going to lose!" the younger boy, who Y/n assumed was Gregory, said.
Two other girls came to her, introducing themselves as Francesca and Hyacinth, Anthony's younger sisters. As they excitedly talked, Y/n's nerves began to disappear. Kate watched them closely, relaxing when she noticed that her sister was smiling, looking happy to be making friends. Her husband joined her, letting her lean against him and kissing her cheek.
"I told you it was going to be okay."
"Yeah, I know. But I was so sad that she thought we didn't want her here with us. It's my fault." Kate whispered sadly, feeling Anthony put his arm around her waist in comfort.
"It's not your fault, my love. We have to make her feel welcome, but for now, I think she's having fun." Noticing that Kate still wasn't convinced, he added. "What if the three of us went for a horse ride tomorrow? You once told me that Y/n always wanted to ride a horse, but she never got to learn since your father died. What if I taught her?"
"You would do that?" his wife smiled in delight. "Oh, Anthony, thank you. I'm sure she would love that."
"Anything for my wife and her little sister." Anthony smiled, giving her a chaste kiss on the lips. "I love you."
"Are you being this lovely just so I won't be so competitive in the game?" she laughed teasingly. "Forget it! Prepare to lose, my dear husband."
Kate turned her back on him, going to the others so they could start the game. Anthony enjoyed the view of his wife, wondering how he got so lucky. "I love my life."
While they were playing, Eloise told Y/n how women deserved to go to college and not live just for their husbands. Benedict appeared later, declaring that he was going to save her from her sister's obsessions, making Y/n hide a giggle behind her hand. In turn, he and Collin were extremely funny, especially when Anthony made a bad move and Kate beat him.
Y/n also had time to meet Daphne's son, who seemed to like her and demanded with a cry that she pick him up. She didn't complain, the baby was too cute to refuse anything.
She and her two new friends got tired of playing, preferring to sit under the shade with the baby and play a little with him. Meanwhile, they talked about everything and got to know more about each other. They only realized how much time had passed when Lady Violet Bridgerton called them to drink and eat something.
By late afternoon, Y/n was exhausted but happy. Her family was more complete, and she loved being part of its dynamic.

Shout-out to my girlies in the unbraidable hair community lmao 🤝 Warnings: one minor swear lol, a couple suggestive remarks
Tumblr media
One more step and your feet were going to fall off. Surrendering to the burn, you all but fell down onto the log, tilting your feet so only your heels rested upon the earth. A sigh escaped your lips and you didn’t even move when the rustling sounded at your back.
A familiar voice spoke your name. Bilbo. “Are you quite alright?”
“Yes, my friend,” you breathed, “so long as you don’t count anything below the knee. Or my hair. Can’t imagine how much dirt and leaves have gotten in it after all that.”
"Well, yes," Bilbo chided, ever the little mother-hen, "you've got to keep it back. Why don't I braid it for you?"
Your heart burst, and not from exertion this time. "You would do that for me?"
"Of course," the hobbit shrugged, "haven't had much practice of it of late, but certainly I can give it a go for you. I understand. I wouldn't want the mess either. Come here."
Thanking him again, you scooted closer to where Bilbo stood, gritting your teeth for the pain of him detangling your hair, only to relax at the gentle touch of his nimble fingers. Eyelids fluttering shut in contentment, you sat as Bilbo worked his magic neatening your hair up and making fresh braids of it for you. Feet still elevated and aching, but less so the longer you sat off of them. When the hobbit pulled back with a quiet, still-focused finished, your first instinct was to reach up around your head, touching the new set of braids with a widening smile.
"And now it shall be free of my face! Truly, thank you, Bilbo!" Pulling him into a quick hug, you vowed to repay him somehow with a teasing final statement. "Since I doubt you want me to braid yours."
"That is quite alright, thank you," he chuckled, "let's head back to camp before Bombur chases us down, eh?”
Camp was nearby, and still sparsely populated as you approached it. Bofur and Bombur were there building a fire, and Thorin stood a ways aside having a conversation with Balin. Dwalin and Gloin sat playing a game with a rock as their table, and Ori sat knitting. The others, you presumed, were hunting, saddling ponies, or else getting attention from Oin. Thinking nothing of it you sat down again, this time near Dwalin and Gloin, asking who was winning and if they were taking bets just to laugh at their responses. Bilbo helped Bofur and Bombur get set up for dinner a few feet off, propping up sticks strong enough to hold the cooking pot.
Sure enough, the rest of the company began trickling in, Oin, Bifur, and Nori first, the latter two with poultices and bandages. You winced. Perhaps you should complain less about your feet. Next up came Dori and Fili, who each carried one half of a felled deer, shot clearly with one of Kili's arrows. The younger prince had a bag in hand, likely having won whatever silly game determined who got the lightest load. Smiling and meeting his eyes, you gave a quick wave, indicating your amusement at the game behind you with your eyes.
Kili smiled back and waved, then swiveled his head away and back again in a double-take. You found yourself frowning as he averted his gaze to help his brother, blinking as you wondered what that was about. All you'd done was say hello. Not even say, really. Did he think you were making fun of the others?
Perhaps it was nothing, but considering your feelings for the prince, it was everything in your mind. Cycling ideas began overtaking your brain like mist. Had he suspected malice of your joke? Had he simply heard something? Why had his expression shifted so? Maybe he was just worried by what he heard.
~
"What did I miss while we were gone?"
At Kili's words, Dwalin simply frowned, peering at him like he'd thoroughly lost his marbles. "What do ya mean, lad?"
"Did...did anything happen?"
"Took Gloin for a right fool on the card table," the older dwarf replied with a smug look, chest puffing and shoulders widening.
"No," the prince shook his head, "not with you, with..."
Despite the way he trailed off, Dwalin gave him a knowing smirk, crossing his tattooed arms. "Ah, I see," he nodded, "not with me, not with me at all. With the lass, eh? Why, she didn’t greet you with a kiss?”
Having an older brother really steeled one to teasing. Much as Kili wanted to fight, to protest and say oi, quit that or I’ll make you, he knew it was exactly the rise Dwalin would’ve wanted to get from him. Beside the other fact that his elder could kick his ass easily.
“‘Course not,” he replied nonchalantly as he could, “I just noticed someone had braided her hair was all.”
Even Dwalin had cause for surprise at that, dark eyebrows shooting up to his metaphorical hairline. “Just since this morning?”
“Yeah,” Kili replied, trying not to sound as deflated as the words made him feel, knocking the air clean out of him now that he’d said them out loud, “thought maybe you’d seen who did it.”
“Hadn’t even crossed my mind, but I think it was like that when she and Bilbo headed back to camp.”
“Bilbo?” He’d lose to a three and a half foot…grocer? “Well now, I’d not have expected that, eh?”
“I can tell ye don’t actually want to laugh, son.”
Sighing, he finally let himself deflate. Bilbo? You and Bilbo?
~
“I hardly see them talk that much. Do you?”
“Not nearly enough to warrant a marriage. Those take time.”
“I know, Fee.”
“Spark.”
“I know.”
“And I thought you two had it. Not even just saying that because you’re my brother. You know I’m honest with you. The only reason those two would have is both feeling like outsiders, and that hardly seems cause to f-”
“Thank you, Fili, yes. Perhaps I was just wrong. Perhaps she could never have loved me after all. She wasn’t my One.”
“Now, brother,” grabbing him by the cheeks with one hand, Fili pulled his younger brother’s gaze to meet his, “not so hasty. Have you talked to either of them yet?”
“Wasn’t ready,” he mumbled, shaking out of the squishing grasp.
“Well, perhaps you should. Knowing is pain, yes, but it is also the thing that keeps us going in the end.”
Kili dropped his gaze thoughtfully before meeting his brother’s eye again, smiling faintly. “Remember our old espionage days? Maybe it’s time we had another mission.”
“Alright,” Fili nodded and smiled, “for old times’ sake.”
~
“Well hello there, Master Burglar.”
“Whatever it is, I won’t fall for it.”
“Now, now, so dry and for what?” Fili wrapped an arm around the hobbit. “I was just wondering how you you were coming along with…a certain member of the company.”
At that, the hobbit’s face crumpled in disgust. By Fili’s reckoning, Master Bilbo seemed barely interested in romance and certainly not with any of the types he currently ran with. He needed someone more doilies and dishcloths and the lot. You may have been the closest to his type, but still far too much of an edge, far too much indeed.
“I beg your pardon?” Bilbo simply replied.
With a conspiratorial wink, Fili leaned in and whispered your name, glancing back to the hobbit’s eyes, which narrowed slightly. Suspicious.
“Uh, w-well I would say,” Bilbo stuttered, shrugging lightly, “well as we could be, all things considered.”
“All things considered?” Fili’s grip tightened a bit. “There are things to be considered?”
“There are plenty of things to be considered!” The burglar shot back. “Why, is she upset with me? Last I heard, she liked the braids and I made her feel much more comfortable. Have I done something today?”
Blue eyes closing to near-slits, Fili released his grip entirely, arm falling back to his side. “Did she ask you to arrange her hair?”
“She complained about it,” Bilbo replied, shimmying in his newfound freedom and using his released arm to slide his pack closer, “so I offered to do something about it. Can’t imagine that is much of an outrage…oh. Oh, good heavens! No! Oh, no. No. She could be my daughter, who on earth sent you over here to…?”
Blonde brows raising, Fili’s head shot back in surprising hard enough to send his mustache braids swinging. “Wait, so you do know about courting braids?”
“Gloin was just telling me all about his,” the hobbit replied, freezing in place even in spite of his awkward, hunched-into-his-pack-hands-deep posture, “neither of us thought a thing about it. Privately I was hoping she and Kili would do whatever it was to get the tension out there, you know?”
Fili did know. He knew, all right.
~
“Psst! Psst! Hoo! Hoo! Caw!”
Kili’s head snapped up at the sound, dark eyes meeting his brother’s fair head popping from the scraggly bushes surrounding camp. One gloved hand waved wild beckoning at the younger prince. Rising from the rock he’d sat down on, one with a strategic view of some conversation between you, Uncle Thorin, and Balin, Kili strode to the edges of camp.
“Reconnaissance successful,” his older brother hissed.
“What?” Jaw dropping, Kili felt his hands leave his chest and clench in surprise. “That was fast. Nothing for me to do?”
“Not true, brother. Not true at all,” Fili smiled, “your part is far more important. You have to go talk to her.”
With a sigh, Kili nodded despite the heavy clunk of his heart in his chest. All the childhood playtimes were nice and all, but at the end of the day he had to be a dwarf about things. Face his fears, just like Uncle Thorin and his father and even Fili.
“You’re right. Though I dread it in my heart, I must speak to her. Even if my love is never known.”
“I wish you the greatest of luck,” Fili patted his shoulder, smiling eagerly, “and trust me. She won’t do a single thing to hurt you. I know it. Alright?”
Another nod. “Alright.”
Inhale, exhale. One step, then another. It was hard sometimes. Putting on the bravado. Fili was always so capable and Uncle had high standards. Not that he shouldn’t, but…it just got easier to act unafraid of everything. In truth, there was much Kili didn’t understand. Much he feared. Perhaps even his own heart, and that was why he had allowed himself to play games with it for so long. No longer, though.
Crunching across the dry campsite ground, he marched up to you as your conversation ended and asked to speak with you, frowning slightly at the nod Balin and Thorin exchanged. Focusing instead on your gaze, the way your eyes were intent in his and the-admittedly quite adorable-way shock bloomed across your face before giving way to a smile and a nod.
“Of course,” you said, and that was that.
How was it that one little smile from you could simultaneously calm Kili's heart and set it leaping like nothing else? There truly was no denying that you were special. Perhaps Bilbo had seen what was so dazzlingly obvious, too. Guess that wasn't too much of a shock.
You both ventured toward the tree line, stopping next to a particularly sturdy trunk. Eagerness was written across your face as you leaned against the smooth bark, encouraging Kili with a smile he couldn't help faintly mirroring even as tears swam in his eyes.
"Are congratulations in order?"
"For me?" You asked, head tilting and hand reaching to your chest. "Forgive me, but what are you asking? I thought maybe I'd upset you last night, but now I really fear it. Or are you teasing me again?"
All thought was scrubbed from Kili's brain at your words, a thick blanket of confusion draping over the prince's mind and furrowing his brows. Is this what Fili meant? Were you not to hurt him because you thought him cross with you? That hurt a bit in and of itself. Perhaps you'd known he would be jealous. But then again, you had greeted him so casually, giving him a cute little wave when he came back...
"Please," he all but begged your name, "the suspense is just killing me. Is that not a courting braid you've been given? I know it is new as of yesterday."
"Is that why you looked so perturbed? Courting...courting braid? Kili," you laughed, "my hair was full of sticks and leaves and all manner of muck, so Bilbo detangled it and got it out of my face for me! Bilbo could be my father!"
Still a bit shaky, but Kili's face surrendered a smile at the teasing smack you gave his upper arm. "Oh, forgive me for being a dwarf," he shot back, "I was hardly the only one who noticed."
"But you were the only one who was jealous," you teased him back, "is that not right?"
Kili could tell by the faltering smirk you gave, by the dart of your beautiful eyes, that you did not truly believe it, but by Mahal, you would when he was done with you.
"Madly," he agreed, eyes boring into yours, "never let anyone but me braid your hair again."
Eyebrows shooting up to your hairline, you peeled yourself from the tree as if to get a closer look. "Kili..."
"I mean it," he implored your name once more, gently taking your shoulders in his hands, "please. This isn't a joke, but if you'd like me to convince you..."
Surging forward, Kili closed the gap between you two, his lips soft against yours and stubble pleasantly tickling against your skin, which shifted as you moved in response to his kiss. Your hands found purchase in his hair, tangling in it and eliciting a sound Kili was too focused on you to be embarrassed about. When you finally pulled away for air, he pulled you back, resting his forehead against yours with a growing smile.
"So, you convinced?"
Your eyes glittered with mirth, joy, mischief...perhaps even love, and Kili knew he should have never doubted you were his One. "So convinced I practically want you to rip out all of Bilbo's work and do it over again yourself."
"You don't have to tell me twice."

Subscription to SHAME Declined!
Shen Qingqiu knows that something is wrong. He doesn’t know what is wrong in particular, but sometimes is definitely off.
He walks just a little slower than usual, Luo Binghe matching his pace at his side easily.
It almost feels like a Without-A-Cure blockage, only it’s not uncomfortable nor does it restrict his wi in any way. Shen Qingqiu also doesn’t think it’s something bad. It doesn’t feel dangerous. So, not like Without-A-Cure at all.
As they approach Qiong Ding Peak, Luo Binghe walks just a little bit closer to him, his warmth familiar and comforting. He smells like spice, incense and crisp winter morning even though it’s summer. Shen Qingqiu feels extremely lucky, for a moment, and as if he could fly without a sword. His husband is the best at easing the tension out of him.
“Binghe smells nice.” He comments quietly.
“Shizun smells the best.” Luo Binghe retorts momentarily.
Shen Qingqiu can’t help but laugh.
“Adorable.” He says. Luo Binghe squeaks, as he often does when Shen Qingqiu compliments him. Not that he manages to do it often, even if he, maybe, would like to.
The Peak Lord Meeting is especially boring this time around. Wei Qingwei is talking about something with a great passion, but Shen Qingqiu can barely hear his account of his new dormitory repair plan. He looks at his husband, who’s feigning interest almost flawlessly. He really is beautiful. His eyelashes are long and thick, fluttering softly every time he blinks. His eyes-
“Shen-shixiong.” Qi Qingqi calls from across the table. “Are we boring you?”
“This one can endure, Qi-shimei.” Shen Qingqiu replies, barely looking away from Luo Binghe.
“Shixiong’s husband just interests him more than this one’s report.” Wei Qingwei laughs mirthfully.
“Certainly.” Shen Qingqiu answers unthinkingly. “Have you seen him?”
Luo Binghe gasps. Everyone in the room goes awkwardly quiet. Shen Qingqiu doesn’t really understand why. He said nothing but plain truth.
“This master didn’t mean to interrupt.” Shen Qingqiu says, even though he didn’t interrupt anything. “Please, continue, Wei-shidi.”
“Shen Qingqiu.” Liu Qingge barks. “What’s wrong.”
“Nothing is wrong, shidi. Can’t this one praise his own husband a little?”
“Shixiong!” Liu Qingge snaps.
“Shizun!” Luo Binghe cries.
“Shidi?” Yue Qingyuan calls softly.
Why is everyone being so strange?
“Does shizun really hold such a high regard for this one?”
“Wh-! Binghe! Of course I do, you’re a dream come true!”
“Is there a reason we’re talking about Luo Binghe instead of discussing Peak’s performance?” Yue Qingyuan asks, voice carefully neutral.
“Wei Qingwei prompted and this one was bored enough to speak out.” Shen Qingqiu answers, absently patting Luo Binghe’s thigh, hoping to get his shaky breath back under control.
“Does Shen-shixiong always circles back to admiring his husband the moment he loses interest in conversation?” Qi Qingqi sneers. And hey! He thought they were over that already!
“Yes!” Shen Qingqiu says, feeling more and more annoyed. “I thought I said this already!”
“Is shixiong feeling well?”
Aaand, here’s Mu Qungfang. Figures.
“This master feels fine.” Shen Qingqiu says. “But there’s clearly something going on and this one doesn’t think he should stay at the meeting any longer.”
“That may be wise.” My Qingfang nods.
Shen Qingqiu nods and stands up. He’s out of his chair already when he notices Luo Binghe is sitting shock stricken and still in his own chair.
“Binghe.” Shen Qingqiu sighs. “Let’s go home.”
Luo Binghe turns to look at him, eyes glassy and utterly uncomprehending.
“Binghe, let’s go.”
His husband blinks at him, very prettily and very uselessly.
Shen Qingqiu sighs, again, and turns to look at Liu Qingge.
“Liu-shidi, your hair looks very nice today.”
That finally bears fruit. Luo Binghe jumps out of his chair and starts whisking Shen Qingqiu away.
“Sorry, shidi!” Shen Qingqiu laughs, throwing a glance at his red-cheeked martial brother. “I know you hate it, but flirting with you a little is the best way to get my husband’s attention!”
Liu Qingge frowns, mouthing flirting? back at him. Shen Qingqiu doesn’t worry about it.
Once they’re outside, Shen Qingqiu laughs outloud, clinging to Luo Binghe’s arm, even though his husband’s hold is iron-tight as it is.
“Binghe is very hot when he’s jealous.” Shen Qingqiu lets him know.
Luo Binghe whines, quickening his steps.
“In fact-" He starts, but Luo Binghe doesn’t let him finish.
“Shizun, this one is begging you to wait with more confessions till we’re home.”
Shen Qingqiu shrugs, but indulges his husband. Why is his shameless husband is acting so shy all of a sudden is weird, but-
Oh.
Here it is. Shameless. Shame. That’s what’s missing.
Shen Qingqiu has been lacking it severely this last hour at so.
System! What’s goin on?
[Bravo!] System dings cheerfully. [Host successfully uncovered event Subscription to SHAME Declined!]
What?
[Event Subscription to SHAME Declined will finish in 6 hours 23 minutes! Host should enjoy the experience!]
How come I didn’t know about the event? What’s even the objective here? System!
[Host may consider this secret mission a parting gift! Goodbye! Goodbye! Goodbye!]
With that, System blinks out of existence. If not for Luo Binghe, Shen Qingqiu would fall to his knees right then and there, but his glorious husband would never let that happen, would he?
“Shizun?”
“I’m good, love.” Shen Qingqiu murmurs, half delirious from relief. He’s free?
“Shizun!”
Oh, right. Endearments. He doesn’t use them, does he? Now his husband is crying out in the open. Poor protagonist’s pride!
It’s fine. Shen Qingqiu can fix this.
“Binghe is very hot when he cries, too.”
They’re in bamboo house in record time. That’s a good thing. Shen Qingqiu has got to placate his husband and tell him all about the System while the event is still going.

Heya! can i request?
Amphoreus men’s wife (separate) had a playful banter with their husband in their room, and after some jokes they ended up chasing each other as she tried to throw so many pillows towards her husband, and their child peaking from the door lmfao 🤣🤣
Pillow Fight
A normal evening of jokes turned into a pillow fight. The children's reactions are more than eloquent.
Tumblr media
It all started with the usual teasing before bed. Mydei chuckled, his wife said something sarcastic in response, he narrowed his eyes slyly... And a second later a pillow flew straight at his head.
Of course, he didn't remain in debt. Jumping up, he threw a pillow back, but his wife dodged and ran away laughing. A real hunt began.
His wife tried to hide behind the bed, but Mydei went around her side. As a result, the room turned into a battlefield: feathers flew in the air, bed linen ended up on the floor, and laughter echoed throughout the house.
The children heard the noise and cautiously peeked out from behind the door. They expected to see anything - conversations, serious business... But not their parents chasing each other like children.
While the eldest son and youngest daughter didn't understand what was going on, the middle one, infected by the atmosphere, rushed into the fight with a squeal, grabbing the biggest pillow and slamming it into his father's back.
The eldest son folded his arms across his chest, watching this circus with an expression of "I didn't sign up for parents like these." The youngest daughter simply sat down next to him, looking bewildered as her mother victoriously straddled her father, holding two pillows in her hands like trophies.
Eventually, it turned into a family pillow fight, where the children could no longer resist and got into a fight. The result: the whole house in feathers, tired but happy parents and children who are still in shock from what kind of parents they have.
Tumblr media
It all starts with a simple joke. Maybe he makes a caustic remark about her habits, and she responds in kind. The exchange turns into a playful exchange. She laughs, playfully hitting him with a pillow - and of course he doesn't leave it unanswered.
Within a few minutes, their bedroom turns into a battlefield: pillows are flying in all directions, feathers are swirling in the air. She deftly dodges, but he is a strategist, and so he drives her into a corner. She pretends to give in, but then suddenly jumps on him and attacks again.
Laughter fills the house, and it is at this moment that their children appear in the doorway. They stand there in complete bewilderment: their parents, usually so reasonable and serious, are now behaving like children.
The eldest daughter, frowning, asks: "What's going on here?" The middle sister shrugs, more concerned with who will ultimately win. The youngest son is simply beaming with delight - for the first time he sees mom and dad having such carefree fun together.
They watch the chaos for a few more seconds, then the eldest daughter says: "I didn't see anything, you didn't see anything. Let's go to bed." The middle sister nods in agreement, but before leaving, she whispers to her younger brother: "Daddy will definitely lose in the end."
Their parents, finally noticing the children, stop, exchange glances - and immediately start laughing. In the end, the mother sends her husband out to clean up, and puts the children to bed herself, promising that "tomorrow they will again behave like adults." Although the youngest son is not at all happy about this.
Tumblr media
In the evening, after the children had fallen asleep, Phainon and his wife relaxed in the bedroom. The calm atmosphere gave way to playful banter. At first, it all started with light teasing and jokes, but gradually the tension went away, and everyone began to look for a reason to have fun.
At some point, his wife threw a pillow, as if by accident, and it almost hit him. Phainon grinned, grabbed the pillow and responded in kind. Thus began a real pillow war. Laughter, quick movements, funny pirouettes in the air, and now they are running around the room, trying to hit each other.
The sons, having entered the room for a couple of minutes, were completely perplexed, watching their parents. They looked at everything that was happening with surprise and incomprehension. The children were accustomed to the calm atmosphere of the house, but what they saw definitely shocked them.
After a few minutes of playing, they stopped, breathing heavily, trying to recover from the laughter and adrenaline. The children, standing on the threshold, quietly looked at each other and silently left, not understanding how all this squeezed into their idea of how adults should behave.
That same night, when they went to bed, one of the sons casually said:
- Mom, Dad, are you sure you're adults? You shouldn't be running around the house like that.
The wife barely held back her laughter, and Phainon only winked, realizing that their behavior would be discussed for a long time in the family, but this was, in fact, only part of their relationship - cheerful and sincere.

D.D. | Shane's Girl [10]
Part Ten | Masterlist | Buy me a coffee | Check out the playlist
Summary: Daryl Dixon knows he shouldn’t be thinking about you when he’s alone at night in his tent. Hell, he shouldn’t even be looking at you throughout the day. You’re not his. You’re Shane’s girl. But Daryl doesn’t like the way Shane treats you. And he certainly doesn’t like how you’re forced to play ‘loving girlfriend’ to a man with eyes for another woman at the camp.
Pairing: Daryl Dixon x female!Reader
Warnings: Shane Walsh is the worst, angst, canon violence, mentions of tobacco use, chapter follows “Tell it to the Frogs” but dialogue and events are paraphrased.
Word Count: 3K
Author’s Note: Me posting twice in a week? Unheard of. I've just been feeling very inspired for this story and this chapter just took on a life of it's own. I try to keep these chapter under 2,000 words, but this one is a tad longer. Hope you all enjoy! As always I would love to hear what y'all think.
Tumblr media
After an eventful night around the campfire, you return to your empty tent. A part of you was thankful when Shane told the group that he was taking watch tonight, but another part of you recognizes that he’s simply trying to delay the inevitable. You’re just not sure you’re ready for that conversation right now. Not after the whiplash of emotions you experienced today: from the joy of one of your best friends returning from the dead to the devastation you felt for Daryl at the realization that Merle didn’t make it back from Atlanta.
You had asked about the older Dixon’s absence during a lull in the conversation after you’d all finished dinner. Rick explained what had happened in Atlanta, and though you understood why he chose to handcuff Merle on the roof, your heart broke for Daryl. When you asked if they planned to return to the city for him, you were met by a scoff from Shane and a mumbled good riddance under his breath. His reaction made you sick to your stomach. You may not care for Merle Dixon, but Daryl does. And for all you know, he’s the only family that Daryl has left.
The prolonged silence that ensued after your question was an answer in itself. They didn’t plan on going back for him.
You lie down on your cot, sighing as you stare into the darkness above you. Your mind is still racing at the realization of Shane’s infidelity. You hadn’t gotten a chance to process the insinuation during the constant commotion this evening, but now that you were alone, it’s all you can think about. You roll over, closing your eyes and hoping that some sleep will give you a clearer perspective on your dilemma. But even though today took pretty much everything out of you, sleep never seemed further away. The idea of holding onto all of this alone is exhausting, but who are you supposed to talk to right now? Rick and Lori just got each other back. You barely know Glenn and Dale. And even though you’re friends with Andrea and Amy, anything told to the sisters tends to spread through the camp like wildfire. You wish Daryl was here.
But then there’s your second problem. How do you explain to Daryl that the group left his brother in Atlanta? And how will he respond? Daryl’s just started opening up to you, and you’re depending on that budding friendship now more than ever. You’re afraid he will pull away from the group due to the betrayal. And you wouldn’t blame him — betrayal weighs heavy on your heart right now.
You let out another sigh as you turn onto your back. You pull your thin blanket over your head, trying to physically block out the thoughts spiraling inside of your brain. In an attempt to calm yourself down, you pull Dale’s book out of your backpack and ignite your small flashlight. You open the book to where you left off, but instead of getting further into the novel, your eyes drift to the crumpled piece of paper acting as your placeholder. Finally, you drift off rereading Daryl’s hastily written note.
When you wake, you’re met with rays of morning sunlight filtering through the flaps of your tent. You blink the grogginess out of your eyes. Even though you slept more than usual last night, your body feels like it didn’t get any rest. You gather your strength and manage to get off of your small cot, groaning as your feet connect with the ground. Hopefully, you’ll feel better once you busy yourself with something to do around camp.
Exiting your tent, you’re met with a surprisingly empty camp. Your brow furrows as you sweep the area, but a small smile tugs at the corners of your lips as your eyes land on Rick talking to Carol by the RV. Having Rick Grimes back in your life still feels like a dream. You make your way up to the pair, and Rick glances over your way.
“You look as tired as I feel.”
Although his words are said in a humorous tone, his eyes hold a look of genuine concern. The small smile on your face grows a bit wider at the sight. Rick Grimes isn’t your blood, but you’ve considered him your family since you befriended Lori all those years ago.
“Just a restless night, I suppose.”
You attempt to brush off the concern nonchalantly. The last thing you want to do is worry Rick as he’s settling back in with his friends and family. But even though he lets out a warm chuckle at your response, the concern etched into his features doesn’t dissipate. Rick opens his mouth to reply, but is cut off by a woman screaming. The two of you look toward where the sound is coming from, somewhere off in the surrounding woods, before looking back at each other with wide eyes.
“Lori…”
Without another word, the two of you race off into the woods with Carol not far behind. As you both get further into the forest, you begin to hear a medley of concerned voices. And finally, you find a small clearing with the entire group gathered around Sophia and Carl. Rick rushes over to his son, but your eyes are fixated on an inanimate walker lying beside a deer carcass. Your hand subconsciously lands on your hip and grabs the hilt of your hunting knife. Although it looks like some of the men handled the walker, you still have a sinking feeling in your stomach as your eyes rake over the jagged bite marks that trail down the deer’s neck.
A rustling in the woods pulls your attention away from the carnage, and suddenly, everyone is on high alert. You watch as both Shane and Rick get in front of Lori and Carl, shielding them with their bodies as they draw their guns up toward the sound. Your tense shoulders relax, and a relieved sigh escapes your lips as Daryl appears from the dense forest brush. Everyone drops their weapons as Daryl raises his hands. Shane groans as he spots a handful of squirrels that Daryl has tied onto a rope in his left hand. Daryl glares at Shane for a second before his eyes land on the mangled deer lying on the forest floor.
“Son of a bitch!”
Daryl approaches the deer, angrily muttering about how he’d been tracking it for miles. He kicks the deer in frustration and drops to a knee to assess the damage the walker has done.
“I was gonna drag it back to camp — cook us all up some venison. What do you think? Think we could cut around the chewed-up parts?”
Daryl’s proposal earns him several disgusted groans, and Shane responds.
“I wouldn’t risk it, man.”
Daryl sighs disappointedly before standing up from the deer. He wipes off his hands on the front of his jeans. His eyes harden slightly as he looks over at Shane.
“That’s a damn shame. Got some squirrel though — that’ll have to make due.”
From behind him, the walker begins groaning and Daryl rolls his eyes as multiple people cry out in horror. In one swift motion he swings his crossbow from behind his back and shoots the walker square between the eyes. Daryl’s eyes scan the small crowd that has gathered around all of the commotion. His posture relaxes ever-so-slightly as his eyes meet yours. He gives you a subtle nod — a small gesture you’ve grown accustomed to. Instead of nodding back, you drop your eyes to the ground. You’re not quite sure how to face him right now — overwhelmed by a mix of embarrassment over your current predicament with Shane and guilt that you didn’t go to Atlanta after learning about Merle. Realistically, you know that there’s no way that you could go on a lone rescue mission to the city to save Merle, but you still feel like you should have done something.
Daryl’s brow furrows, and his heart clenches at your reaction. What happened while he was gone? Daryl looks around and suddenly realizes that everyone in camp is staring at him with a disheartened expression — everyone except Merle. His eyes quickly scan the group once more before he starts making his way toward their shared tent. Everyone moves to follow him.
“Merle! Merle, where you at?”
You move to step forward. If anyone was going to break the news about his brother, it should be someone who cares about him. But before you can speak, Shane pushes you behind him and takes the lead.
“Daryl, just slow up a bit. We need to talk to you about Merle. There was a problem in Atlanta.”
Daryl chews on his bottom lip for a second before responding.
“He dead?”
Your heart breaks as you watch Daryl’s expression drop.
“We’re not sure.”
Daryl’s face hardens at Shane’s answer.
“He either is or he ain’t!”
Rick puts a hand on Shane’s shoulder before things get too heated between the two hot-headed men. As Daryl’s gaze shifts from Shane to Rick and his eyes narrow.
“Who the hell are you?”
“Rick Grimes.”
Recognition flashes in Daryl’s eyes as the name immediately reminds him of the numerous stories you’ve told him about the man you consider a brother. His gaze flickers to you briefly before shifting back to Rick. For your sake, he pushes his anger aside for a moment and chooses to listen to Rick. You watch intently as Rick explains the events that happened in Atlanta. Daryl’s nostrils flare, and his grip tightens around the squirrels he’s holding.
“You’re tellin’ me that you handcuffed my brother on top of a roof and left him there?”
“Yeah.”
And then all hell breaks loose. Daryl throws the bundle of squirrels at Rick, causing Shane to launch himself at Daryl. You rush forward as Shane tackles Daryl to the floor. You’re yelling at Shane — begging him to get off of Daryl. As you attempt to pull Shane off of him, Shane reaches back and pushes you off of him. Daryl yells as you hit the ground hard. Rick helps you up, and there’s a collective gasp as Daryl, who has managed to get out of Shane’s hold, pulls out his hunting knife.
“Stop it!”
You step in between the two men — back to Shane. Daryl’s chest heaves from the physical activity, and his eyes don’t leave the man behind you.
“Daryl.”
Finally, his eyes meet yours, and his face softens ever-so-slightly. He sighs before dropping the knife. You nod at him approvingly before turning to look at Shane. Although Daryl seems to have settled down, Shane is still fuming. His gaze is like daggers as he continues to stare at Daryl. T-Dog steps forward to diffuse the situation.
“I dropped the key, but I locked the door. Nothing should be able to get in there — we just have to go back.”
You hear Daryl grunt from behind you. As you turn to face him, he’s chewing on his bottom lip again. You can practically see the gears turning his head.
“Just tell me where he is so I can go get him.”
“I’ll go back with you.”
Lori clenches her jaw at Rick’s words, obviously upset by her husband’s decision. T-Dog nods at Rick’s words before stating he’ll join them. Shane mutters a string of expletives under his breath as Rick glances around the group. His eyes land on Glenn, and he shifts his feet nervously.
“Really, man?”
“You know the city better than anybody. It’d make me feel safer knowing you’re there with me.”
Glenn hesitates for a moment before nodding. Rick gives him a small smile, and Shane lets out an exasperated sigh.
“So that’s your big plan, man? You, T-Dog, Glenn, and Daryl?”
“And me.”
Suddenly, everyone’s eyes land on you. Shane’s expression hardens as his eyes meet yours. His gaze is ice cold, but you don’t back down.
“The hell you are!”
“I’m going, Shane.”
Shane huffs before taking several steps toward you.
“Are you outta your goddamn mind? This is Merle Dixon we’re talking about.”
You glance back over your shoulder at Daryl who is nervously shifting from one foot to the other. He’s watching the interaction attentively. Just like always, he’s prepared to step in if Shane loses his cool.
“He’s still human, Shane. He deserves better than to die handcuffed on top of a roof like a rabid animal.”
Shane’s expression tightens as his gaze briefly shifts between you and Daryl. His gaze eventually focuses back on you and his eyes narrow.
“You’re really gonna do this for him?”
He juts his chin towards Daryl, and you let out a dry laugh due to the absurdity of this conversation. Everyone’s watching the stand-off between you and Shane intently — you’d be embarrassed by the attention if you weren’t so angry.
“This doesn’t have anything to do with him, alright? It’s about doing the right thing.”
Shane takes another menacing step forward. You know what he’s doing — he’s trying to intimidate you into submission, but you’re done with this. He squares his shoulders as he towers over you, but instead of cowering, you stand your ground.
“That’s bullshit. If you leave with them, we’re done.”
His voice is seething. He’s desperately trying to regain control of the situation — the ultimatum is proof of that.
“We’ve been done, Shane.”
You turn to leave the conversation, but Shane reaches out and grabs your wrist. The grip he has on you is bone-breaking, and you let out a surprised yelp as he pulls you back towards him. Immediately, Daryl springs into action. A low, threatening growl rumbles in his throat as he moves toward you.
“Don’t fucking touch her.”
Shane’s grip tightens at Daryl’s warning. You squirm due to the pain shooting up your arm. You desperately try to wriggle out of Shane’s grasp, but it’s too tight.
“Stay out of this. She isn’t yours.”
“Are you deaf? She ain’t yours either.”
Before Shane can react, Rick grabs his shoulder. He looks at you and Shane with wide eyes, obviously confused about what has happened between you both during his absence.
“Brother, what are you doing?”
Finally, Shane releases his grip, and you immediately backstep away from him. Daryl places a gentle hand on your shoulder and moves you further away from Shane. Rick’s brow furrows in confusion as he watches Daryl precautiously step in front of you. He’s obviously missing something here. The last time he saw you both — before the accident, before the coma — you were laughing with each other during dinner at Rick and Lori’s. He remembers your joy. But now you’re looking at his best friend with nothing but discontent. And Daryl, the man that Shane warned Rick about last night, is the one protecting you from a man you shouldn’t fear. Rick shakes his head before addressing the rest of the group.
“Alright everyone, the show’s over. Let’s all cool off for a bit, okay?”
The group begins to wander off in different directions. But Daryl and Shane continue to stare each other down until Rick grabs Shane’s shoulder again.
“Shane, let’s go.”
It sounds more like a warning than a suggestion. Finally, Shane tears his eyes away from Daryl and stomps into camp. Rick gives you one last apologetic look before following after his best friend. You let out a sigh of relief and let your shoulders drop as the tense encounter finally ends. Daryl turns to face you, and his eyes immediately drop to your wrist, which is already beginning to bruise.
“You ‘lright?”
You nod wordlessly, still overwhelmed by everything that just happened. Daryl moves you back toward a fallen log to sit you down before he cautiously grabs your wrist. You’re so far away right now you don’t even respond to the touch. He drops down on one knee and gently assesses the damage that Shane caused, making sure nothing’s broken. Once Daryl is content with his assessment, he meets your eyes. His expression is brimming with worry as he searches your face.
“You sure you’re ‘lright?”
Finally, you meet his eyes, and Daryl’s heart breaks at the sight of your broken appearance. He’s overwhelmed by his need to protect you — a feeling that’s becoming increasingly common for him as he spends more time with you. This time, you simply shake your head. Honestly, you have no idea what you feel right now.
Daryl nods and takes a seat beside you. He feels like a fucking idiot. He never should have left you here for so long — not after everything you told him about Shane, everything he’s observed over the weeks you’ve spent in camp together. Before he can kick himself further, you speak again.
“It’s over, right?”
Daryl looks at you softly and nods.
“It’s over.”
“But he’s still…”
“You ain’t gotta worry about him anymore. I promise you, I ain’t gonna let him do anything to you. Not anymore.”
You’re overwhelmed by the sincerity in his tone and the devotion in his eyes. He promises to protect you like he’s taking an oath. And for the first time since he left on his hunting trip, you feel safe. You nod, honestly believing that Daryl would put himself in harms way for your own well-being. Hell, he already did. You lean back against the fallen log and Daryl reaches into his pocket before wordlessly offering you a cigarette. A warm laugh bubbles in your chest at the gesture and Daryl wishes he could record the sound. You take the cigarette and give him a small smile.
“You’re a bad influence, Dixon.”
A smirk pulls at the corner of Daryl’s lips as he hands you a lighter. You take it graciously and Daryl watches you light the cigarette between your lips. You hand the lighter back to him before taking a long drag.
Goddamn.
He always thought those cowboy killers would kill one day — but he was wrong. You’re going to be the death of him and he’s okay with that. Because he can’t think of a more wonderful way to go.

hold up | a lemonade story
summary ⇢ mellie's hanging on by a thread. how much longer can she hang on when one question coils deep in her? is roman... cheating on her? word count ⇢ 1.4k tags ⇢ minors, do not interact. implied cheating | two ; denial “What a wicked way to treat the girl that loves you”
i don’t wanna lose my pride, but imma fuck me up a bitch.
“Melody, you’re going to drive yourself insane,” My friend Alyssa sighs. “Don’t you trust him?”
That’s a great question. However, I’m past the point of giving a damn.  I’m literally driving myself to insanity with all of this and I’m not sure how to bring it up. How do you confront the love of your life about something like this without him immediately going on the defense?
“I don’t trust him, that’s the problem, and I don’t know how to get back to that point anymore.”
Alyssa is my moral compass, she tries to keep me levelheaded when I feel myself slipping. She’s my best friend, but she’s a big fan of Roman and I’s relationship — Alyssa refuses to believe that he’s this person, that he can be a cheater when he’s been so caring. She sees the best in him.
“Mellie, what has he done to make you feel this way?”
My eyes meet hers, “Don’t make me feel crazy, Aly, I’m already losin’ it here.”
“I’m not sayin’ that, I promise, I’m just tryna understand how you go to this point.” Alyssa sits up. “Just help me understand and I promise we can fuck his shit up tonight.” She offers a smile.
While she’s the more levelheaded one of us, the thing I love the most about her is her willingness to support any and every decision I make — even if it’s the craziest shit she’s ever heard.
That’ll be helpful later.
Somethin’ don’t feel right because it ain’t right.. Comin’ up after midnight
The house is the coldest it’s ever been in a long time. I’m pretty sure the only source of heat is coming from the anger seeping out of my pores when I hear his keys in the lock as I sit on the couch. A book sits in my lap untouched as he comes in through the door.
“Hey, Mellie,” Roman throws my way lazily. He comes over to kiss my cheek and I can’t help but smell the perfume that radiates off his body. Chanel. At least the bitch has taste. “You up late.”
My brain wants to cuss him out, but thankfully restraint still exists when I finally reply. “I’d say the same for you, baby, where you been at?”
Roman glances in my direction while heading to the kitchen, “I went to the PC then had dinner with the twins.”
“Oh, the twins are in town?” My eyes train on his back.
There’s no way they can be in town. During a call with Trinity earlier in the day, she told me that her husband and his brother were doing house shows during the week, so, it’s impossible for them to be at dinner. Yet, he seems to think I’m the biggest idiot on planet earth.
“Yeah, we went to that steakhouse on 85th.” Roman shuts the fridge and turns to look at me. “Then we got drinks at Tini’s and watched the game.”
Of course, he has an answer for everything. A tinge of rage strikes me in my chest while watching how calm he is.
“What game did you watch?”
That stops him for a moment.
But I continue, “I watched a couple on split screen.”
Roman runs his hand over his beard then takes a long swig of beer.
“Cowboys versus the Texans was good.” I bait with a small smile.
“Yeah, that’s the one, we ain’t seen the results though.”
Well, of course, he didn’t, maybe because those two teams didn’t have a game tonight.
To not lose my cool, I let the conversation go. I can see him watching me from the corner of my eyes as I pretend to read my book. There’s nothing else I can say. I’ve caught him in more lies than I can count — and there’s a feeling in my gut that tells me he knows.
Can’t you see there’s no other man above you?
Most people would judge me and I don’t blame them. Even with my suspicion, I can’t deny the love and affection I have. So, here I am under him. I can’t help it.
“Look at me, baby,” Roman’s rough voice sharpens my attention. “you look so beautiful.” He runs his hand down my cheek.
His eyes on me, for the first in a while, feels like how it used to be. It makes me forget all the pain that I’ve felt for so long. This is what I want back.
My hand grips his wrist, pulling him down onto the bed, maneuvering so I’m on top.
The gems on my acrylic nails catch some of the light from the moon. My hands are pressed against his chest, holding me steady, keeping the rhythm of our skin slapping together. I throw my head back with a moan, feeling the way he raises his hips to reach deeper into me.
“Do you know how much I love you?” I breathe out, leaning down to kiss his neck. “I’ve never loved anyone like I love you.”
It was the truest thing I’ve ever said. It is the truest thing I’ll ever say.
How did it come down to this?  scrolling through your call list
His phone is empty. She’s not on here, but I know she exists. How can I keep living in the paranoia where I know the ghost exists but there’s no proof of it? I toss his phone back onto his side of the bed with a huff just as he walks out of the bathroom.
“what’s wrong?” He takes a look at my exasperated expression.
“You know how much I love you, right?” My voice is harsher than I wanted, but it catches his attention. “And we made our vows to be loyal to one another, i’m keeping my end.”
Roman knits his eyebrows together, “I love you, too, Mellie.” He sits at the edge of the bed. “I’ll always be here.”
The reassurance I was hoping to feel never comes. Instead, I’m slowly feeling rage. But, I don’t respond but nod. I can’t look jealous or crazy, that’ll only drive him away or make him sneakier. If anything, I need him to slip up. That’s the only way I can make sense of this — Lord, give me a sign.
What’s worse? Lookin’ jealous or crazy?... I’d rather be crazy.
Sleep was the last thing on my mind. Instead, my eyes fixated on the TV screen that flickered in the darkness. Roman was sound asleep beside me and my nerves had finally calmed enough for me to wonder if I was going insane.
I’ve found no tangible proof. Maybe, just maybe, I’m convincing myself of something that isn’t true –possibly self-sabotaging and self-destructing. If I don’t stop now, all my hair will fall out from the stress. Three months of thinking these thoughts are slowly killing me. Not that he’s noticed, but I’ve lost 25 pounds in my mission to find out the nonexistent truth.
My eyes are slowly closing when his screen catches my attention. It’s three in the morning, who could possibly be texting him? I’ve just come to an agreement with myself and now I’m plunged back into the uncertainty. I should just turn over and fall asleep, but I just need to look at the message and I’ll be over it.
J: are you really not coming over tonight, baby? i miss you. mellie sees you more than enough. just come over and be back before she wakes up.
My eyes scan the message over and over again. I’m not sure what else I’m looking for, but I’m hoping that at some point the message would read something different — something that doesn’t confirm all my suspicions. I cover my mouth when the tears start to fall, not wanting to wake him up and find me in this position. My chest feels heavy and my feet are a ton of bricks when I make it out of bed.
Out in the hallway, I slide down the wall with my hands still firmly covering my mouth to swallow the sobs. This isn’t what I wanted nor was it what I needed. My brain feels scrambled with incoherent thoughts. What do I do now? Should I leave? Should I take a baseball bat to his head? Yet, the only thing I’m sure of right now is that I might throw up.
It’s difficult for me to get back up to my feet. My body shakes uncontrollably in the darkness and my breathing is shallow until I’m taking deep breaths. I turn to glance into the room, feeling my skin heat up. This feeling isn’t sadness, it isn’t hurt, or disappointment. I’m past denial – what I’m feeling is scorn and hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
“But still inside me coiled deep was the need to know. Are you cheating? Are you cheating on me?”

okay! here's the first poseidon 'snippet' . this takes place before and during this scene!
second snippet
there's a masterlist now!
hope you guys enjoy! ദ്ദി(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧
*a few months after poseidon had left apollo’s infirmary finally all free of holes all healed up*
*up on olympus*
zeus: *bored outta his godly mind after 20 years of entertainment (especially those last 10 years)*
zeus: *suddenly struck with an idea*
zeus: *to no one in particular* i think i’m going to go pay my brother a visit… just to check on how he is…
zeus: *disappears in a flash of lightning*
hera: *entering the room*
hera: *stares at the scorch marks on the ground where zeus just was*
hera: *to herself* as long as its nothing to do with a woman or illegitimate child… then i don’t care.
*below the sea in poseidon’s palace*
*poseidon enjoying some peace and quiet; when in a flash, zeus on one of his very rare visits, appears in front of him*
zeus: *looking around the room* so… how are things?
poseidon:
poseidon: *sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose*
poseidon: what do you want zeus?
zeus: *ignoring poseidon’s question* where’s your queen?
poseidon: amphitrite is out visiting her sisters…wait never mind that-
poseidon: what do you want?
zeus: *now looking at poseidon* can’t i come see my big brother?
poseidon: you never bother, unless you want something.
poseidon: *anger now in his voice* so out with it.
zeus: *putting his hands up in front of him* whoa! no need to get angry…
zeus: *putting his hands down and a smirk appears* ...remember how that ended for you last time?
zeus: *smirk gets bigger* how you let odysseus beat you like that, i have no idea…
poseidon: *glaring at zeus* do not speak that name in my home
zeus: why my dear brother? are you perhaps… scared?
poseidon: *falling right into zeus provocations*
poseidon: i am NOT scared of that mons- mortal!
poseidon: he merely took advantage of my state after using a lot of my power!
zeus: *under his breath to himself* that power still didn’t kill him though, did it?
zeus: *to poseidon this time* but you’re not in that state now, are you? nor have you been since you left olympus… so what’s holding you back now?
poseidon: *raising an eyebrow at zeus* holding me back from what?
zeus: *knows he has poseidon hook, line and sinker*
zeus: i understand you can no longer hurt him or his family; unless you want to incur the wrath of my daughter… and i suppose even my wife
zeus: but you can make trouble for him still, can’t you?
poseidon:
zeus: *notices the slight hesitation*
zeus: or maybe you are truly fearful of him now? the mighty god of the seas, terrified of a mortal king.
poseidon: *blinks and then goes back to glaring at zeus*
poseidon: i told you i am not sca-
zeus: -then what’s stopping you?
poseidon: NOTH- *coughs* nothing.
poseidon: *crosses his arms and looks away from zeus*
zeus: *laughs knowing he’s done what he came here to do*
zeus: well, i shouldn’t stay too long away from olympus... enjoy the rest of your day brother.
zeus: *disappears in another flash of lightning*
poseidon: *looks at the scorch marks on his floor*
poseidon: he always leaves a mess…
poseidon: *thinking over the conversation again*
poseidon: i’ll show him who’s scared.
*outside the shores of ithaca*
poseidon: *looking the nice clear weather and seeing the merchant ships coming to and from ithaca*
poseidon: it would be a shame if something disrupted this...
poseidon: *smirks* *summons his trident & lifts it to the sky*
*the wind picks up and storm clouds quickly start forming*
poseidon: *can hear distant shouts of mortals reacting to the sudden storm*
poseidon: *laughs to himself* perfect.
poseidon: well, i guess i’ll leave this to brew. i’ll check back later to see what damage has happe-
poseidon: *a full body shiver comes over him out of nowhere*
poseidon: *turns to look at the ithacan docks where he can see..a mortal?*
poseidon: why i am i bothered by that mo-
poseidon: *sees deep red eyes and realises who the mortal is*
poseidon: -oh no.
*the king of ithaca odysseus stands there, glaring into the storm*
odysseus: *in a cold voice* I am going sailing with my son. There will be no issues, is that understood?
poseidon: *even though he knows odysseus can’t hear him* aye aye captain!
poseidon: *with a whimper calls off the storm immediately and quickly dives back under the water*
poseidon: *before he can completely leave, he can hear the voice of odysseus saying “good.”*
poseidon: *about to head straight back home but pauses*
poseidon: *remembers odysseus said he was going sailing with his son*
poseidon: *knows he may be god of the sea, but he can’t always be there to control what the residents of said sea get up too*
poseidon: maybe i should just make sure there’s nothing to make him angrier at me
poseidon: *secretly follows & stays near odysseus’ and telemachus’ ship*

Fear Of Losing You
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairings -> Bayverse TMNT x Reader
Warnings -> Injuries, passing out, other angsty stuff
Note -> After the Shredder fight and defeating him, everyone is pretty injured but you were the worst of all of them as you were used a bait after distracting shredder while Donnie defused the machine. All they need to do now is make sure you stay awake and take you back home to heal you.
Genre -> Angst to Fluff?
A/N - I got inspired by this comic dub that I found on YouTube but I can't remember what it's called, also I hope you guys will enjoy this!
Tumblr media
This is one of the worst things that has happened to you, you never thought it was going to be this way.
After the big fight with shredder, you all got pretty injured as you defeated him. Raph’s shell was slightly cracked from earlier in the snow as he went to get his brothers from Sacks as well some injuries on his arm and shoulder. Leo was hurt on his left arm and right leg, Donnie was slightly bruised and had a big cut on his right arm and Mikey was well Mikey even though he was also hurt on his face as well as his arms.
But you were the worst, cuts and bruises everywhere as well, maybe a few broken bones here and there as well as a blood trail coming from your forehead from shredder slashers and that shredder used you as bait because you decided to distract him which was a bad idea.
Now you guys finally defeated him, well because of Donnie of course. Defusing the machine and saving the world, but all of their priority was to help you and to heal you.
“Guys, M’fine..” You are not technically fine as you hunched back in front of Rapheal who has been holding you up, making sure you weren’t gonna fall. You were trying so hard not to fall asleep, Raph’s warmth comforted you as your eyes felt heavy.
“Mikey, call April or Vern to get there van here, we need their van to get back home so Donnie can look at them” Raph suggested
“Already on it!” Mikey confirms while his T-Phone that was made from donnie starts to ring
“Donnie, can you check on them?” Leo requests as Donnie crouches as he puts his goggles on to check your injuries, “Guys really I’m.. fine” Breathing was so difficult right now but you needed to stay strong for them
“Sure, even though I don’t really heal people which is sort of Name’s thing but let me check real quick though” Donnie said as he scanned you, making you squint your eyes a bit at the light
Donnie then lifted his google up as he had a very worried look on his face, making Raph and Leo start to worry as well
“Hey guys, I got April, she’s coming” Mikey’s voice called out, making Leo pat him on his shell “good Job Mikey, she’ll know what to do mostly” Leo spoke. Meanwhile Raph and donnie having a conversation “We’ll have to keep them until April gets here, We also need to stop them bleeding too much or else..” Donnie states
You were trying so hard not to fall asleep right now, Donnie and Raph’s voice became muffled as your eyes started to drop causing ruckus, hearing Leo’s and Mikey’s voice as well. Then you fully fell asleep, but you were able to hear their voice still which was a good sign at least
“Name?!”
“Name you better wake up”
“Name-!”
“Hang on just a little bit longer”
“Wake up!”
“Please wake up”
“Donnie, My head’s kind of fuzzy”
“Oh god that's not good, you might have some concussion”
“April! Anglecakes, you’re finally here!”
“Where are they?”
“Right here”
“Shit, Someone has to lift them in order to get them to the van quickly”
“I’ll lift them”
Then that caused you to wake up, a stinging pain in your body started to spread all over you, you body was more delicate and fragile as the turtles
“ARRGH-- OW!” You yelled out as you hand instantly grabbing onto the person who was carrying you which was Leo
“Careful!”
“It hurts..” You muttered as tears started to form in your eyes, “I know it does but we are gonna get you back and patch you up” Leo reassured you
“Casey! Open the door!” April’s voice yelled out, then hearing a door slide open
“Oh dang, Here put them on the backseat” Casey said as he went to the front, making sure everyone was now in the van
Hearing the door slide close, you were place down slowly and carefully by Leo, then he crouched down in a sitting position in front of you as he was there to keep you awake
“They need to stay awake, They are in a lot of pain but they need to wait until we get home” Donnie told Leo who nodded, “Casey, get us home” Donnie huffed as he sat down too
Then you felt it, the van started to move. Feeling a sense of comfort as Leo kept you awake, moving some hair away from your face as his finger wiped some blood off your face that was from shredders slashers
Meanwhile, Donnie was checking on his brothers making sure they were fine even though he was hurt as well
Snapping Raph out of his trance as he reasked “You said your head is fuzzy?” Donnie asked, “Mhm..”
“It might…. be a concussion, but start with his other wounds..” You muttered out “Name you shouldn't be talk-” Leo spoke up “No.. no, that’s good. What do I need to do” Donnie interrupts
“Clean his wound first… if it’s still bleeding… apply pressure..but not to much” You huffed out, Donnie followed your instructions as Raph grunted in response while Donnie looks at his injuries as he did the same with Leo
“Done! Mikey come here so I can check you” Donnie called out as Mikey came from the front of the van to the back
There was a slight cut over his eye, bleed spilling down slowly as Donnie cleaned it, then he started to check his arms
“Geez Mikey, what did you do? They look pretty bad..” You admits when you spotted his arms, “Well He tried to distract Shredder but got attacked” Donnie notes as you nodded
“You did a good job mikey” Leo commented
“We are here! Donnie, can you open the garage for us?” April asked as Donnie was already on it as he pressed a button on his wrist and the garage finally opened as April drove inside, making the garage close behind
“Alright we need to get them inside, Leo grab the first aid kit quickly” April yells out as Leo open the van door as he quickly went to go get the first aid kit, “Mikey I’ll take care of you, Casey go get Splinter, he’ll take care of Raph and Leo while Donnie takes care of Name”
“Okay, I’m gonna lift you up and then carry you on the bed” Donnie reassured as you got ready to get picked up, knowing it was going to hurt
Donnie carefully placed his arms under you and he picked you up causing your ears to ring, hissing as you grabbed onto Donnie as hurried over to the bed
“Stay awake Dove, Keep your eyes open we are nearly--”
You passed out again, causing Donnie to panic, rushing over to the bed. He quickly got everything ready as he put an IV fluid on your arm from your blood loss. He was hoping you were going to wake up soon, Casey helping in the process
But he needed to scan you for any other injuries he might not know off, while donnie does that master splinter was taking care of Raph as he already bandaged Leo first, “I am almost done then you two can go see Name”
“Hai Sensei” Leo bowed as he honoured his dad for patching him and his brother up, hoping MIkey and you were alright
While with April and Mikey, April was running the sink as she soaked a towel “Alright you’re almost done, I just to patch you up and then you’ll be off to see if Name is alright”
“Thanks dudette”
Then started to wrap the bandages around his arms, Mikey looked miserable, he didn’t like how hurt his brothers and you were.
“Hey April, can I ask something?” Mikey mumbles as he looks down, April tilted her head as she hummed, still concentrating on his arms “What’s up big guy?”
“Do you think they are going to be alright?”
“Oh Mikey, they are going to be alright, You’re brothers are tough”
“What about Name, they are more worse than all of us”
“Let me tell you one thing, Name isn’t going to give up. I’ve known them since I was a little kid, I know they are going to be alright, just have some faith in them and they’ll be okay”
Meanwhile with Donnie, he was looking at your scan, the screen showed an x-ray of you and you’re amount of injuries you have gathered from Shredder
Donnie was in disbelief, but now you were waking up as you turned to spot Casey sitting in the corner waiting to help Donnie with something, Then you spotted Donnie staring, looking like he zoned out
“Are you going to let.. Me see Don?” You spoke out, no response “Donnie?”
“Oh good you’re awake, Casey come over here to help me” Donnie said as Casey stood up walking over, You and Casey high-fived each other as he was relieved you were awake now
Donnie then moved his screen to show Casey, “Alright, Casey going to need your help here, we have a lot of stuff to do, I don’t think Name will be in the right condition to help us”
“I’m right here.. You know”
“Alright, we are dealing with some broken bones, some internal bleeding but I already got that out of the way, we also need to deal with their cuts and their bruises”
“I’ll stitch their deep cuts” Casey volunteered as Donnie went to check up on his brothers
“You need to hold still or else it’s going to make it worse if you keep moving”
“I’m trying, it just hurts” You started to tear up as you held your breath wanting Donnie to come back
“Where’s don?” You asked as Casey finished up which caused you to hiss a little form the pain that stung your arm
“I’m right here” Donnie’s voice called out, turning your head to see Leo following behind him to help heal you up
“Alright, I finished with the stitching” Casey informs
“Good, now we need to deal with their broken bones, we need to put their leg and arm in a cast, Leo I need you to help, they need to stay still for this”
“On it” Leo said as he grabbed you but not too tightly in case he hurts you, While Donnie was now going to apply the plaster then put on the cast for your leg
You were getting ready for the pain to come, as soon it touches your leg pain stung your body as you yelled out, leaned onto Leo as you grabbed him
“Alright, I’m nearly done. Don’t move your leg too much Name”
“It hurts.. It hurtsss..” You repeatedly muttered as you were still grabbing onto Leo’s shoulder to stable you
His arm was wrapped around you protectively as he hushed you “You’re nearly done”
“Okay I’m done, Make sure Name stays awake Leo” Donnie pointed out as your eyes got tired, until the doors swung open revealing Mikey “What happened!?” He screamed out until Raph popped out his head inside the room
“Oh Mikey, Raph good you guys are patched up” Donnie sighed
MIkey and Raph spotted you shaking in Leo’s arms as they felt troubled by your expression, they knew you weren’t feeling the greatest but at least Donnie was there to help
“Donnie.. You need someone to bandage your arm..” You mumbled out causing Donnie to look at his arm totally forgetting his arm was cut open a bit
“Leo go help Donnie..” You said as Leo looked down at you “You sure?” You nodded “Mikey and Raph will look after me..I’ll be fine..”
“Alright donnie Let’s get you patched up..”
You sighed as you saw Mikey coming over with a sad face, crouching down near the bed, you gave out a small smile towards him saying that you were fine, then spotted Raph standing awkwardly
“Raph.. come over here” The words that came out of your mouth made Raph focus on you as he huffed, walking over to you
“Geez Angel.. How are you feeling?” Mikey asked, “Feeling a little bit better just hurts everywhere..”
“I wanna sleep.. But I want to wait for leo.. And donnie”
“Sleep, we’ll make sure they are fine.. You look exhausted” Raph suggested as MIkey nodded in agreement as he played with your hair which soothed you a bit
You whined as your eyes felt heavy as they fluttered closed, they were relieved that you finally got some sleep
A couple of minutes after Donnie and Leo came back to noticed that you were asleep while mikey and Raph were sitting near the bed as they fell asleep themselves
Looks like they were tired too, maybe they should have a little nap as well from the chaos that has happened today..

⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
The night was quiet, only the low rumble of distant traffic and the occasional siren cutting through the stillness of your block. You leaned against the brick of the railing on your front porch, staring down at the street that was empty for now. Freeridge wasn't usually this quiet, especially with your brothers, Oscar and Cesar, running things. Even the house, which had seen its fair share of chaos, marked tonight as an exception. Both of them were out handling business, leaving you with the rare luxury of solitude.
Or at least, that's what you thought.
But you should've known better by now. You had company. Someone who always found his way back to you, even when you weren't looking for it.
Sad Eyes.
He was leaning against the wall a few feet away, hands tucked into his jacket pockets, his gaze flicking from you to the empty street and back. His presence wasn't loud, but it was impossible to ignore. There was something about the way he carried himself, like he didn't have to say much to get his point across. His eyes, dark and intense, had always drawn you in, even before things had gotten complicated.
Months ago, you hadn't expected this. At first, it was innocent-a few conversations here and there, his occasional visits to see Oscar and Cesar. You had been nothing more than your brothers' little sister to him. But somewhere along the line, those late-night talks turned into something more.
The glances lingered. The moments grew longer. And soon enough, you were sneaking around, meeting in the shadows, exchanging secret touches and stolen kisses, knowing full well the mess you were playing with.
Oscar and Cesar were protective, to put it lightly. They didn't let just anyone get close to you, and Sad Eyes? He was one of the last people they'd ever approve of. Not because he wasn't good enough, hell, he was family in the Santos, practically a brother to them. But precisely because he was too close. Too dangerous. And if they found out about the two of you, there'd be no talking your way out of it.
"How long we gonna keep sneakin' around like this, mami?" Sad Eyes' voice cut through the quiet, low and rough, like he was speaking a truth he'd been holding back for too long. He didn't move from where he stood, but the intensity in his gaze made it feel like he was already right next to you.
You glanced over at him, raising an eyebrow, a teasing smile pulling at your lips. "What, you scared of Oscar and Cesar now?" The words came out light, but there was no denying the weight behind them.
He let out a quiet chuckle, the sound almost lost in the night air.
"Ain't scared of 'em," he muttered, pushing off the wall and taking a step closer to you. His hands stayed in his pockets, but the shift in his stance, the way his body angled toward yours, sent a shiver down your spine. "But let's be real. This shit's more than what we said it'd be, right?"
The question hit harder than you expected. You both knew this thing had started off casual—just a distraction, a way to pass the time. But that was before. Before the secret meetings felt like they meant something. Before his touch lingered too long, or before the way he looked at you made your heart race in a way you couldn't ignore.
Now it was something else.
Something you couldn't easily walk away from. And that scared you more than you wanted to admit.
"We agreed," you said softly, your voice barely above a whisper, as if speaking too loudly might shatter the delicate balance between you.
"No one needs to know. Not yet."
Sad Eyes took another step closer, close enough now that you could feel the warmth radiating from him. His hand slipped out of his pocket and found your waist, his fingers curling around you in a way that felt possessive, like he was holding onto something he wasn't willing to let go of. "Yeah, but it doesn’t mean I'm feelin' it," he said, his voice lower now, rougher, as his thumb brushed lightly against your side. "I'm tired of actin' like I don't want more."
The admission hung between you like a weight, heavy and undeniable. His words made your heart race, not just because of what he was saying but because deep down, you wanted more too. But there were things in the way— things you couldn't ignore, no matter how much you wanted to.
"You know what'll happen if they find out," you murmured, looking up at him, your voice barely holding together. "Cesar and Oscar—they won't take this lightly. You know how they are."
He tilted his head slightly, a smirk playing on his lips, but there was something serious in his eyes.
"They'll have to deal with it," he said, his tone both playful and firm. "Ain't nobody keepin' me from you. Not them. Not anyone."
His confidence was intoxicating, and as much as you tried to remind yourself of the risks, it was hard to care when he looked at you like that. You felt the tension between you two building with every word, every touch. It had always been there, simmering beneath the surface, but now it was rising, threatening to spill over.
He stepped even closer, his forehead brushing against yours.
"But for now," he murmured, his voice so low it sent a shiver down your spine, "we keep this our secret."
You laughed softly, though the sound was more out of nervous excitement than anything else.
"We've been good at that so far," you whispered, your hand coming up to rest against his chest, feeling the steady thump of his heartbeat beneath your palm. It matched your own, fast and full of adrenaline.
"For now," he agreed, and his lips were on yours before you could say anything else.
The kiss was slow at first, deliberate, like he was savoring it.
You could feel the restraint in the way his hands held you, firm but gentle, like he was reminding himself to take it easy. But there was nothing easy about the way your heart pounded in your chest, or the way your body pressed against his, craving more.
As the kiss deepened, the tension that had been building between you for months finally snapped.
His hands tightened on your waist, pulling you closer, and you melted into him, your hands sliding up to tangle in his hair as his lips moved against yours with a hunger you hadn't felt before.
Everything about this was dangerous-every kiss, every touch. But in that moment, it didn't matter. The risk, the secrecy, the potential fallout-it all faded away, leaving just the two of you, alone in the night, hidden from the world.
His hands started to slide lower, fingers grazing the curve of your hips as the kiss grew more intense. You could feel the tension building again, the heat between you rising, and you knew exactly where this was headed.
Your hands brushed through his hair, whilst his desperately tried to pull you closer as if you weren’t skin to skin. Almost like he yearned for your souls to intertwine as one, ensuring that you’d be closer to him beyond flesh. Because he needed you beyond flesh.
“Ant—Antonio,” You moaned in between kisses as he held you against the wall of your home, hungrily switching from your mouth to placing kisses along your jaw. “Hm?” He hummed in response, too busy putting his lips to work on your neck to talk. “Inside.” You managed to mutter under the adrenaline that rushed through your body.
The heat between you and Sad Eyes only intensified as you guided him inside the house, both of you eager for more privacy and the chance to explore each other further. The moment you reached your bedroom, it was like a dam had burst, and all the pent-up desire and passion flooded between you.
Sad Eyes wasted no time, his hands roaming over your body with a hunger that matched your own. The air was heavy with anticipation as he backed you towards the bed, his lips trailing hot kisses along your neck and collarbone, leaving a trail of fire in their wake.
You moaned softly, your fingers threading through his hair, urging him closer as you felt the undeniable need building inside you. "Antonio," you breathed his name, the sound a plea and a promise all at once. He swore he felt every single part of his cock harden to the sound of his name in your mouth.
He lifted his head to meet your gaze, his own dark eyes burning with desire. "Tell me what you want," he growled, his voice rough with need, “Let me hear you say it.” His hands skimmed up your sides, sending shivers down your spine.
"I want you," you whispered, your voice filled with longing. "I want all of you."
With a primal hunger, Sad Eyes captured your lips in a searing kiss, his hands deftly working to rid you both of your clothes. The cool air of the room contrasted with the heat of your entwined bodies, adding to the intensity of the moment.
As you laid before him, bared to the soul, you felt a rush of desire like never before. Sad Eyes pressed you gently against the bed, his gaze never leaving yours as he positioned himself above you, positioning his hardened cock against your slit. An almost smug smirk flashing across his lips when he felt how wet you were against his shaft.
He paused—Not in a way that halted the mood or the intense atmosphere, but in a way that allowed you to let go of the breath you didn’t know you were holding.
“Can I, mami?” He rasped, his eyes low, coated with a hazed look that drove you insane. With a sharp inhale, you nodded.
“Please.”
He almost hissed at your pleading for him, his hand gently wrapping around your neck swiftly as he slowly thrusted inside of you, feeling your walls pulse around him as he let you adjust to his size.
The first touch of him inside of you yours sent a shockwave of pleasure through you, and you arched into him, seeking more.
"Fuck, you feel so good," he groaned, his voice strained with desire. His lips found yours once more, claiming them in a fierce kiss as he guided himself into you, slowly and deliberately.
The sensation of him filling you left you breathless, a mix of pleasure and pain that only fueled the fire between you. Your bodies moved together in a primal dance, each thrust pushing you closer to the edge of ecstasy.
“Doing so fuckn’ good for me, baby,”. He rasped against your skin, letting you ease into the feeling of him inside of you because this definitely wouldn’t be the last time, “so, fucking, good.”
“I can’t—“ You whimpered, wrapping your arms around his neck as the unfamiliar overstimulation of your walls squeezing him inside sent shockwaves through your body. “You can, mami.” He breathed, thrusting himself in and out of you, “Together— We can do this together,” he groaned, your breaths getting heavier and heavier by each movement.
Moans and gasps filled the room, mixing with the sound of flesh meeting flesh in a symphony of passion. Sad Eyes moved with a relentless rhythm, his movements becoming faster and more urgent as you both chased release.
In the heat of the moment, nothing else mattered but the two of you, lost in a whirlwind of desire and need. Your bodies moved as one, seeking completion in each other's embrace.
As the tension peaked, you felt a wave of pleasure crash over you, consuming you in its intensity. Sad Eyes followed soon after, his body trembling with the force of his own release.
Breathless and spent, you lay tangled together, the room filled with the echoes of your shared passion. In that moment, there were no secrets, no risks, only the two of you, bound together in a way that felt both dangerous and inevitable. And as you lay in each other's arms, the world outside faded away, leaving only the echo of your heartbeats as a reminder of the connection you shared.
Sad Eyes looked at you with a mix of tenderness and desire in his eyes, his gaze tracing the curve of your face as if committing every detail to memory. You felt a flutter in your chest at the intensity of his stare, the weight of his emotions palpable in the air between you.
Slowly, he reached out a hand to brush a stray lock of hair from your face, his touch gentle and reverent. The simple gesture sent a rush of warmth through you, a silent reassurance of the connection you shared.
"You're something else, mami," he murmured, his voice low and husky. "I never expected this... with you."
His words hung in the air, heavy with unspoken meaning. You could sense the vulnerability beneath his tough exterior, the part of him that craved connection and acceptance just as much as you did.
"I didn't expect it either," you admitted, your voice barely above a whisper. "But I'm glad it happened."
A small smile tugged at the corners of his lips, softening the hard lines of his face. In that moment, he looked almost boyish, a glimpse of the person he might have been if not for the harsh realities of his life.
The room was filled with a quiet intimacy, the sounds of your breathing mingling in the space between you. It was a moment suspended in time, a fleeting glimpse of something deeper and more profound than just physical desire.
As you lay there, basking in the afterglow of your shared passion, you couldn't help but wonder what the future held for the two of you. But for now, in that quiet moment of peace and contentment, all that mattered was the here and now, the warmth of Sad Eyes' body beside you, and the unspoken promise of what could be.

Hi, I kinda have an idea I’ve been tossing around, briefly considered attempting to write it myself, but yeah, I’m not great at pulling plot twists, etc, so Im throwing it out here, maybe you can do it justice! First, I have to say that I absolutely MUST have a decent degree of angst - but nothing too bad that it seems too unforgivable, because a happy ending is nonnegotiable (well, for me anyway, those are my own personal rules).
So MC is a single mom with a baby/toddler, and for whatever reason she’s had to move to a new town where she doesn’t really know anyone, so to make new friends she joins a mommy/me playgroup - where she meets Gemma & her baby girl and the two are instant friends, which is how she’s eventually introduced to Harry. Of course their chemistry is off the charts, resulting in a strangers to friends to lovers thing. BUT, at the time he’s just stared filming DWD. And here comes the angst…because Olivia def had her sights set on Harry & shes just manipulative enough to play dirty for what she wants…and after Harry turns her down or whatever by explaining that he’s kinda seeing someone, who Olivia finds out is you & she ain’t having it! It’s only after she overhears Harry talking to someone about Y/N, how they met, the mommy group, etc…there’s her in - she immediately signs up for the play group but with a plan: get rid of you by sewing discord by any means necessary, befriend Gemma so she can get to Harry….so, yeah. That’s all I’ve got so far, do with it what you will ;)
Strangers, Playdates, and a Bit of Trouble
Warnings: nothing but angst basically
———
The move was supposed to be a fresh start.
She kept reminding herself of that as she unpacked the last of the boxes in her tiny apartment, Ava babbling to herself in the corner while scattering puzzle pieces across the floor. No one told her starting over would feel so lonely. She loved her daughter more than anything, but the silence that filled the space when Ava napped? That silence hit different.
It didn’t help that she didn’t know anyone here. No family nearby. No friends. Just her, Ava, and a GPS that still got her lost half the time.
So, when she stumbled across a post about a local mommy-and-me group, she didn’t hesitate. She figured it’d be good for Ava—and maybe even good for her, too.
The first meeting was overwhelming in that overstimulated, sticky-hands, Goldfish-on-the-floor kind of way. But then came Gemma.
Warm, welcoming, and refreshingly blunt, Gemma immediately made her feel seen. The two moms clicked in that way that mattered—through shared exhaustion, similar routines, and toddlers who instantly became best friends. There were coffee dates, long talks, laughter that felt like exhaling after months of holding her breath.
Everything started to settle into place. For the first time in a long time, she didn’t feel like she was drowning.
Then, she met him.
It was meant to be a normal drop-off at Gemma’s—Ava and Lily having another playdate—but Gemma wasn’t there. Her brother was.
She knew the name before she saw the face. Harry Styles. And yeah, she’d seen the photos, the articles, the internet chatter. But none of it prepared her for how normal he looked standing barefoot in sweatpants, rubbing sleep from his eyes as he opened the door.
“Hey,” he said, voice still rough from sleep. “Come in. They’re inside—tearing the place apart.”
He was easy to talk to. Surprisingly so. They ended up chatting longer than they needed to, and when it was time to go, she didn’t really want to leave.
He started showing up more after that. Always casual. Friendly. Sweet with the kids. He and Ava got along like they’d known each other forever. But beneath it all, there was something unspoken building between them—long glances, lingering touches, conversations that went a little deeper than they probably should’ve.
It turned into something before either of them said it out loud.
A quiet night on Gemma’s back porch, stars overhead, both of them just sitting there after the kids fell asleep. He kissed her like he’d been thinking about it for weeks. And she let herself believe, for the first time in a long time, that maybe something good was happening.
But things got complicated fast.
Because a few weeks later, he left to film Don’t Worry Darling.
And Olivia Wilde noticed him.
At first, it didn’t bother her. She trusted him. He texted every night. Called when he could. But then things started to change. The calls got shorter. The texts less frequent. He was tired. Busy. “Just dealing with stuff on set,” he said.
She tried to be understanding.
Until Olivia showed up at the mommy group.
Smiling. Effortless. Charming in a way that felt too polished.
“I just moved to the area,” she said sweetly. “Figured this group would be a great way to meet some moms.”
And she was nice—too nice. Overly friendly. But there was something in her eyes that felt off. Calculated. The way she glanced at her. The way she mentioned Harry a little too casually in front of the others.
It wasn’t long before things started shifting.
Other moms began treating her differently—standoffish, subtle judgment in their glances. Whispers that stopped when she walked into the room. Gemma seemed distant too, like she wasn’t sure what to believe.
She confronted her.
“What’s going on?” she asked one day after group. “Everyone’s acting weird.”
Gemma looked uncomfortable. “Olivia’s been saying stuff. I don’t know how much is true. She said… she and Harry had a thing.”
Her stomach dropped.
“She said what?”
“That you were just a rebound,” Gemma said quietly. “That he’s been seeing her. That he never told her about you, or Ava.”
It felt like someone knocked the air out of her.
She didn’t believe it. Did she?
But the doubt was there now, whispering in her ear.
So she called him.
It rang. And rang. And rang.
No answer.
She stared at the phone for a long time, wondering how something that felt so good could fall apart so quickly.
She didn’t want to fight.
She hated fighting.
It started with a text.
From a number she didn’t recognize.
“I’m sorry you had to find out like this. He told me you weren’t serious. I never would’ve let things go that far if I knew you had a baby at home.”
– O
She stared at the message for a long time. Long enough for Ava to pull at her sleeve, long enough for her stomach to twist and turn until the room felt too small.
It was a lie. It had to be. But the doubt hit her like a sucker punch.
Because Olivia was calculated like that. She didn’t make moves without motive. And this? This was intentional.
She texted Harry. Can we talk?
She didn’t expect a reply, because he ignored her calls just hours earlier.
But he showed up. Hood up, cap on. Eyes tired.
“You okay?” he asked, stepping inside. “You look—”
“Did you sleep with her?” she cut in, voice sharper than she wanted, but trembling with restrained fury.
He froze. “What?”
“Olivia. Did you sleep with her?”
His brows pulled together. “No. What—where is this coming from?”
“She messaged me, Harry.” She shoved the phone toward him, her chest tight. “Said you told her we weren’t serious. That you didn’t even tell her I had a kid.”
He read the text, jaw locking as he passed the screen back to her.
“That’s bullshit,” he said tightly. “I never said that. I didn’t touch her.”
“Then why does she think you did?” she demanded. “Why does she know anything about us at all?”
“Because she overheard me talking about you!” he snapped, more frustrated than angry. “She put two and two together and decided to blow it up. That’s what she does. She twists things.”
She stared at him, voice hollow. “And you didn’t think to tell me she might try something like this?”
“I didn’t think she’d go that far.”
She let out a bitter laugh. “That’s rich. Because I did. I’ve seen the way she looks at you. I watched her embed herself in my life—my friends, our group—just so she could come between us.”
His expression shifted, like he finally realized the damage that had been done.
“Hey… look at me,” he said, stepping closer. “You know me. You know I wouldn’t cheat on you.”
“But you didn’t tell her about me,” she said softly, wounded. “Not really. Not when it counted.”
“That’s not true.”
“She knew I existed. But not who I was to you. Not enough for her to back off.”
“I kept things quiet because I didn’t want to bring attention to us,” he admitted, eyes pleading. “Not because I was hiding you. I was trying to protect what we have.”
“Then why does it feel like I’m the only one who’s been protecting it?”
That landed.
The silence that followed was thick. Harry stepped back like the weight of it was too much.
“I don’t know how to fix this,” he said quietly.
She swallowed hard. “Maybe you can’t.”
Ava’s laughter rang out from the other room—completely unaware, beautifully innocent.
Harry’s eyes flicked in that direction, then back to her. “Please don’t shut me out.”
“I have to think about her,” she whispered. “About what kind of environment I’m bringing her into. I can’t have this chaos in her life.”
“I’m not chaos,” he said, brokenly. “I love you.”
“I want to believe that,” she said, voice cracking. “But right now, I don’t even know what to believe.”
He didn’t argue. Didn’t push.
He just nodded—defeated.
And then he left.
For three days, they didn’t speak.
She cried more than she’d admit. Ava asked where Harry was every morning, and she had to smile through it, lie through it. She missed him—ached for him—but her pride wouldn’t let her reach out.
Then Gemma showed up on her doorstep.
“You’re both being idiots,” she said, blunt as ever. “He’s miserable. And you’re in love with him.”
She didn’t deny it.
“You don’t walk away from something like this,” Gemma added, softer. “Not when it’s real. Not when you know he didn’t cheat.”
When he finally came back, it wasn’t with flowers or some grand gesture. He just stood at her door, exhausted and quiet.
“I was scared,” he said. “Of screwing it up. Of not being good enough for you—or for Ava.”
She stepped aside, let him in. They didn’t say much after that.
They didn’t have to.
Eventually, the truth came out. Olivia left the group. Left the movie early, too—something “schedule-related,” the press said. But they knew better.
Gemma apologized. The other moms softened again. Life slowly, slowly began to feel normal.
And through it all, Harry stayed. And that was all she needed.

You hoped that the sounds of the machines beeping around you would have distracted you at some point but it was no use. Constant hours of pain and every hour a nurse coming to check you too see how much you have any improvements on dilation has become more and more annoying.
It was now midnight and the time to finally meet your baby still seemed so far away. You were laid on your side holding on too Evan’s hand as another contraction hit you. He wrapped his arms around you and leaned into to you rubbing your back slowly and giving you kisses on your forehead.
“There you go baby, it’s almost over” He said with pity tracing his voice. Evan hated seeing you in any kind of pain at all. He would want nothing more than to give you some kind of relief but even knowing that he wasn’t capable of that hurt him even more.
A deep sigh left your lips and you loosened your grip on your husband’s hands slightly. Tears filled your eyes. The pain became more and more unbearable.
You were already too far in to even have an epidural and it killed you.
“I can’t do this anymore” you say with your voice shaking as you look up at him.
“Yes you can you’re so close just a little while longer”
As you were about to try and turn on your back you heard a knock at the door . You look up at Evan and you both shared confused looks. You weren’t expecting anyone to come by and see you.
He walks over and opens the door and he lets in Maddie, Chimney, Hen, Bobby, Athena, and Eddie.
Maddie gave her brother a quick smile and quickly passed by him making him stumble a little bit and quickly made her way over to you, she didn’t waste any time by giving you a hug.
The rest of them followed behind her and each of them giving you hugs and smiles.
“I wasn’t expecting you guys here” you said with a smile.
“Well once Buck told us you were in labor we had to stop by and wish you good luck” Hen said . You looked at Buck and raised your eyebrows, you didn’t think he was gonna tell them when you went into labor you thought he was gonna surprise them after the fact.
Maddie sat on the edge of the bed and placed one hand on your knee and looked up at you her eyes full of excitement knowing that she will soon become an aunt.
“So how are you feeling love?” She asked
“The pain is terrible I just want it to be over” you say with a sigh.
“I know how you feel girlfriend bringing a whole child into the world isn’t easy and you want to know the worst part”.
You say up even more thinking she was gonna say that there was more pain to come.
“What?”
“They don’t have to experience any of this, ain’t it crazy” she said while pointing to all the men in the room. The room erupted with laughter.
After a couple minutes of conversation with everyone and jokes being said the nurse and doctor came in and told them to kindly exit the room because you had to start pushing. They waved goodbye to you and Evan wishing you guys luck.
As soon as they left that’s when things began to become more serious and fear took over you. You heard so many stories of things that have gone wrong during birth and you were praying for a smooth delivery.
“Evan I’m scared” you said while grabbing his shirt pulling him even closer to you . You didn’t want anyone close to you or anyone touching you if it wasn’t Evan. He was the only one that could provide you with comfort and stability during this time.
“Babe look at me I promise, you and baby are gonna be fine and nothing will go wrong just listen to doctors and I’ll be right here the whole time”. He says wrapping one of his arms around your shoulders and the other holding your hand.
He watches as they place your legs in stirrups. He feels his own self becoming anxious and excited but he tries his best to be the partner that you need.
“Okay on the next contraction you can push” the doctor says.
You look up at Evan and he looks back at you with pure love in his eyes. He nods his head at you and places a quick kiss on your cheek and whispers to you “you can do it”
When you start to feel the contraction you hunch forward and close your eyes. You hear the doctor counting but your drown it out only focusing on the sweet nothings Evan is whispering too you only for you to hear.
After 2 more pushes the sound of strong cries fill your ears and you open your eyes to see the doctor resting your baby girl on your chest. The nurses quickly try to clean her up, you look up to Evan and see the tears falling from his eyes and big smile on his face.
The baby you guys have been waiting for has finally made her presence and he couldn’t be happier.
You place your hand on her back and look down and take in her features and beauty. Evan placed his hand on top of yours and leaned his head on your taking in everything.
He couldn’t have been happier. It’s all he ever wanted.

When the pale flower grows thorns🌸🥀🩸
Tumblr media
A SasuHina AU where Hinata later on joins Orochimaru’s group. Everyone still treats Hinata as fragile and docile and her family mistreats her more the older she gets. Sasuke convinces Orochimaru of a vague plan to acquire another member that has rare abilities like him, never telling him it’s someone he personally knew or that she’s from one of the leaf village’s prominent families.
Rather than have her talents wasted and not allowed the proper time and space to grow, Sasuke secretly converses with Hinata while she’s out on a mission in an attempt to have her join him. (‼️⚠️Yapping below⚠️‼️)
She does end up taking his offer later on and leaves her family in disarray because she leaves Neji with family secrets about the family seal and leaves him to be the family heir.
I did have a bit sketched of Itachi making a joke about the two when they were kids and thus leading to them being engaged/betrothed by their mothers decisions but left it out because it was too much to fit in here. I also had a portion where Hinata painfully removes Neji’s curse mark and him fearing her for a moment and seeing her potential in that small moment before being left to pick up the pieces of their family.
They knew/met each other as children in this since they are both part of important clans in the village and their parents maintained connections with them. Hinata was usually too busy to be around/play with Sasuke and Itachi since her father and family used most of their time to train her, resulting in Sasuke mainly watching her train and her even sparring with Itachi at times (and losing, much to her father’s dismay).
Their moms have them be verbally betrothed as a small joke amongst the older members in their families, but Hinata’s father was not happy with it (since he views her unworthy until she can start acting and moving like a proper ninja of the clan) but didn’t care for it and lets them pretend about it. Sasuke’s family just thinks it’s cute and pay it no mind but occasionally feel sorry for Hinata seeing how she’s worked to the bone to become the clan heir. They do have certain expectations for Sasuke as well but view the Hyuuga’s methods as overkill in some areas. Also Itachi is the eldest so Sasuke doesn’t rly understand what the clan heirs have to put up with most of the time as he’s given more freedoms.
ANYWAYSSS
Hinata basically has had enough of the mistreatment and being underestimated and never being taken seriously so she’d rather turn to them so that she doesn’t have anything holding her back from improving herself and no longer needing to seek constant approval from anybody. Yknow, something like, she never gets to do anything she wants and constantly feels suffocated from having no control over anything she can/can’t do. Her family is so controlling that even if she finds ways in which she can get better she can’t use them because the clan is stubborn in the ways they want her to portray herself and act as a ninja.
I did add goofy bits of Orochimaru commenting on their hair. He cuts Hinata’s to be layered to give her a more mature look, and he hates how Sasuke never changes his lmao.
I kinda feel like making a art of Itachi being so big brother coded towards these two that when he sees Sasuke he’s surprised (bc duh he’s with the bad guys now and he was such a kind hearted baby) but upon seeing Hinata he is proud to see her take something for herself and be able to pave her own way. Idk lmao. I had fun drawing this and like the way I used some of the brushes.
Btw I plan to not have these two interact with each other with romantic intentions in mind but have those feelings sort of progress naturally amongst each other. She also does still have her crush on Naruto in this but realizes it’s not rly gonna go anywhere so she decides it’s best to forget about him and move on, especially with the fact that her lifestyle will become different.

pornstar!moon-boys x fluffer!reader
part three: jake
a/n: some headcannons bc we filthy up in this bitch >:) 1.5k??? i'm overcompensating for something lmao
others: marc | steven | more steven
as a fluffer, it's your job to know how to keep the boys interested. each alter has their own preferences:
(NSFW 18+ under the cut)
jake: the troublemaker
Tumblr media
GIF by manny-jacinto
Jake was the last (and final?) alter you met. He didn't ask for you the first time you met. Actually, you thought you were seeing Marc, but it turns out Jake was 'covering this one' for him, whatever that means.
It turns out Jake had been in the industry longer than Steven but you've just never met him. Unlike the other boys, he was used to taking whatever fluffer was offered on set, not really preferring or caring who was preparing him for the day. It never really mattered to him.
And then he met you.
His eyebrows raise when you walk in, eyes taking in every inch of your body. You're dressed in a pair of comfy shorts and an oversized shirt, hair styled casually so it's out of your face (Marc was going through a phase where he craves to see you in pajamas, needing that extra domesticity and softness).
Jake doesn't greet you, or even bother to stand up from the couch to shake your hand. He looks...amused, like he recognizes you.
"You're that girl that has my brothers wrapped around her finger." It's not a question, more like a statement.
He leans back against the couch as if to get a better view of what's in front of him. He looks like Marc, but he doesn't sound or carry himself like him. And he's definitely not Steven.
You don't deny his words, "And... you are?"
"Lockley, Jake Lockley." He still doesn't move to shake your hand, just says it with a nod.
"Another...?"
"Yeah, there are three of us... As far as I know."
"Where's --"
"Marc? I dunno." He doesn't look too concerned. It's almost like he's barely interested in the conversation when it isn't about himself. "But I'm here." You catch your first glimpse of his famous smirk, one that you've learned spells trouble.
You've named Jake as the troublemaker of the trio because he constantly bends the rules and does what he wants. Especially with you.
For one, he's the first alter you ever fucked. Actually, he's the first pornstar you've fucked, too.
Usually you have a longer session the first time, but 20 minutes would have to do. He's still staring at you, sitting on the couch with his legs spread wide. Inviting.
You go up to him like any other client, not phased by his dark eyes and mischievous allure, and straddle over his thighs. His hands immediately come up to hold your waist, steadying you easily against him.
Other than that, he doesn't make a move, clearly waiting to see what you'll do.
"So what do you like, Lockley?"
"Aren't you supposed to figure that out, sweetheart?"
Kissing Jake always takes your breath away. He's demanding but somehow he makes you feel like you need it, not the other way around.
He's dirty with it, drawing you in with soft kisses before nipping at your lips and then deepening it by laving his tongue against yours. It's addicting how smoothly he moves against you, tempting your body to take it a step up, to cross that line.
You are sitting up on your knees just a few inches off of his lap, hovering over and making out with him, hands cradling his jaw. You have the upper hand (and are literally over him) but you've never felt so lost in a kiss.
You feel his hands drag from your waist to your ass. He grasps you, shoving your loose soft shorts up so he can feel your skin against his palms. You let him.
That was your first mistake.
You're distracted by his mouth when his hand shifts from your butt to your aching center. You've been dripping -- soaking since he gave you a taste of his tongue, since he first held you.
You let out a surprised moan as his fingers press flush against your clothed core, stroking against your most sensitive area. He applies the perfect amount of pressure against your cunt, brushing and prodding at your entrance over your clothes before cruelly teasing your clit.
You let it go on far longer than you should've, but it just felt so good. And then it felt too good.
He rubs your clit until you're seeing white, until you can only think of him and how he's touching you.
You gasp, "Jake!" Your legs shake from having to hold yourself up as he pushes you off the edge. He growls as you wrap your arms around his shoulders to keep you steady. You settle back onto his lap, forehead resting against his chest as you pant and calm down.
He's hard as a rock against you, practically pulsing as he watches you come down from your orgasm and melt against him.
He figured you out, and you, him.
Jake gets off on getting you off.
When you're his fluffer, you're his to touch, tease, and prod, not the other way around.
You wouldn't really call him a 'giving' partner because at the end of the day, he does it for himself.
He's selfish in how he'll pull orgasm after orgasm out of you, just because it pleases him. He doesn't care if you're writhing under him.
That first session didn't end where it was supposed to. Giving you an orgasm was already more than you're used to. But he kept going. You were distracted, caught off guard.
That was you're second mistake.
Before your lust-fogged mind could wrap around what was happening, your loose and stretchy pajama shorts were tugged to the side and he was pushing up into you.
The stretch was intense, but he slid in easily with how wet you were for him. You both groan simultaneously as he filled you to the brim.
After that first round, Jake ceased production for the day, telling everyone to go home while yelling "Don't fucking interrupt me" on his way back to his dressing room.
---
(He's not allowed to fuck you during working hours anymore -- they even put it in his contract. He wasn't too happy about that.)
Needless to say, you were called back the next day.
As much as Jake loves to play with you, sometimes there isn't enough time, especially on bigger projects with less time to fool around. In those cases, he takes a quick sloppy blowjob.
And by sloppy, you mean sloppy.
He loves watching you struggle to swallow him down, eyes shiny with tears and drool dripping down your neck.
His hand grips your hair, guiding the smooth pace as you bob against him. You whine as he slowly speed up, your jaw is already tired and knees are sore. You hold on your his hips to help stay steady as he starts to thrust back into you, cock hitting the back of your throat every so often. You gag and he growls.
He's the one who pulls you off, knowing his own limits.
He's the most controlled out of the three, able to slip you off his cock just at the right moment before walking out and starting the day.
He groans when he peers down at you, "Fuck...I wish I could cum down that pretty throat," You're wiping your mouth, lips still vibrating from the way he fucked into you. "C'mon baby, let's go. Call time's in five." You comb your fingers through you messy hair before he helps you up.
Then you follow him out.
Like Marc and Steven, he also refuses to be prepped by anyone else. But he also takes it a step further (bc of course he does), he takes you to set with him. Like some 'bring-your-girlfriend-to-work' day.
(oh yeah...you're with them now...)
You didn't even know that you were allowed to physically be on set when scenes are being recorded, until Jake insisted, claiming he could only keep it up if you were watching.
Sometimes when he's fucking a girl (or fucking himself) he looks up, eyes scanning the room until he finds you. The cameras don't exist to Jake and this isn't his job. Porn -- or being recording -- is just him doing the company a favor and letting them have a glimpse into his bedroom habits. He doesn't give a fuck.
He meets your gaze and sends you a cocky smirk, hands restraining the body under him as he roughly slams his hips against hers. It never fails to make your breath hitch and skin bloom with heat.
He gives you the same intense look when you're under him, choking on his cock. He's imagining that you're under him now, stretched and ruined for him. Whimpering and crying out for more. As much as you try to ignore him, you can't. It's like driving past a car wreck, you can't look away.
Directors have had to scrap countless recordings for the final production of videos when he'd get really carried away, grunt dirty words in spanish to the girl in the corner of the room (you) that the camera can't even see.
It's not all bad though, the company sometimes uses those behind-the-scene vids of him, basically cuckholding you, for exclusive content. And viewers go feral for it. Probably because it's more genuine than half of the videos out there.

Your brother had always been caught up in the wrong crowd, conning people and moving from state to state to avoid the repercussions of his actions until they finally caught up with him. You just never thought that you’d be there with him when that finally happened. You never thought that the people, the monsters that he had crossed would ever throw bags over your heads and toss you into the trunk of their car to present you in front of their ‘boss’ he had to answer to. You never thought that he’d be dumb enough to cross a nest of vampires, of all things.
This boss is much different from the image you’d cooked up in your head from beneath the black pillowcase. Although he still appears pale, cold and callous from his perch behind his desk, he isn’t that dark, brooding caricature of a vampire you expected to see. His presence is still heavy, warming your body in a blanket of unease from across the room as cropped blonde locks frame his handsome face, but there’s something else there. There’s something more in that split second that he glances your way, almost as if he was fighting the urge to take a longer look, but that could just be the trauma talking.
He takes his time folding his slender fingers together as he speaks to your brother, not even bothering to look over at him while negotiating his terms. It’s almost as if he’s bored of the inconvenience of his presence, annoyed that he even has to do any of this at all. You can tell this isn’t the first conversation they’ve about this, but figure that it may very well be their last. And just like that, with a wave of his hand, one of your captors grasps onto your brother’s arm and turns him away from you despite his many pleas and protests.
“She stays here until you come back.” He looks at you intentionally this time, eyes burning his promise deep into your soul with words clearly meant for your brother.
“What?! No! She doesn’t have anything to do with this, Eric! I was asking her for money! That’s why I was with her!” David pleads as the woman begins dragging him across the room toward the open door. “I’ll get your money, I promise!”
“We’ll see.” Eric states calmly, almost to himself as the sound of your brother’s begging fades out into the darkened hallway, muddled by his scurried footsteps.
You start to run over to the doorway, trying to see which direction they’re taking him in, to get one last look at your brother before the night swallows him whole, but you can barely move. Like in one of those nightmares you can’t manage to wake yourself from, your feet seem to get heavier with each step you take as you feel yourself being pulled back to the center of the room by your host’s words.
“If I knew David had such a pretty sister, I would have threatened him a lot sooner.” Eric starts as he busies himself by looking over his ledger, his long fingers scaling down the page before looking back up at you intently. He holds your gaze with a long azure stare, so dark and serious that you can’t bear to look away, even if you tried. “Now I see why he was keeping you from me.”
“Keeping me from you?” The phrase sounds just as odd coming out of your own mouth as it did his, your voice providing little balm over the idea.
“Don’t pretend to be so naive, sweetheart. It doesn’t suit you.” Eric stands up, moving around the desk toward you in a blur faster than your brain can even begin to register. He stops just a few feet short of you, forcing you to gasp as your muscles tighten in anticipation of what he could do to you in a matter of seconds. If he wanted to. He’s so much taller than he seemed from behind the desk, his shoulders now towering well above your eye line as he takes another slow, purposeful step in your direction. “You’re not nearly as afraid of me as you should be.”
“I’m afraid,” you reassure him shakily, still stunned in your tracks.
“Are you?” He lifts your chin with the tips of his fingers, that cold stare of his softening just a little as his lips curl into a devious smirk. “Or is it something else?”
You wrack your brain of all the vampire trivia you’ve learned over the years, trying to recall if they could read minds, or if that was just something you saw in a movie once. Is it that blatantly obvious that you’re attracted to him despite the situation your brother’s put you in? Has the gift of fear not properly disguised your complex reaction to his large size and good looks? Or is this just a lucky shot in the dark?
“It’s something else,” you hear yourself admit to him before you even decide to tell him the truth. Why did you just do that?
“I could see it all over your face the very second you walked in here.” He grabs ahold of your chin and squeezes until your lips purse, smiling as if he’s won some kind of prize for calling you out on something completely out of your control. “Humans aren’t nearly as good at hiding their emotions as they think they are.”
He chuckles and lets go of your face, turning his back to you before slowly walking over to his desk as a cascade of hormones trickles into your bloodstream. That sudden absence of his touch makes your body ache for another embrace, craving that hit of oxytocin more quickly than you’d ever anticipated from a mere stranger.
“How much does he owe you, exactly?” You attempt to reconnect, stepping toward him as he turns back around to face you.
Maybe he just wants you to ask for it… to beg for what you want in exchange for your brother’s life, but that’s not something you’ve ever done before, not something you’d ever lower yourself to do. The least you could do is try your best to negotiate your way out of this logically.
“A lot,” he answers flatly.
“How much?” You try to stand your ground, looking up at him resolutely as his beautiful features start to heat you up from the inside out.
“Fifty thousand dollars.”
“Jesus, fuck.” You utter, unaware that your brother’s habits had gotten him this upside down with the most lethal of all creatures known to man. There’s no way he’s getting out of this without your help.
“Jesus Fuck is right.” The vampire grins as he makes another move in the unspoken game that you’re playing together, reaching out to touch a lock of your hair and smelling it before laying it back down onto your shoulder. “You seem like the smart one in the family, I’m sure you’ve figured out by now that your brother hasn’t been able to pay his debt to us for some time.” He licks his lips as he looks you over, his gaze moving back and forth from your mouth down to your neck in rapid succession. “And that he’s pushed things just far enough that we’ve had no other choice but to take extreme measures.”
“Are you going to kill him?” Your heart sinks in your chest before dropping down into your stomach, straining the muscles in your torso at the thought of him paying the ultimate price for his stupidity. Sure, the two of you had fallen out of touch over the years because of his habits, but that didn’t mean that you wanted him killed over them. You just wanted this all to be over and done with. Then it hits you; you’re reminded of what your brother was doing business with… not who. “Are you going to kill… me?”
“I’m hoping it doesn’t have to come to that.” The blue in his eyes begins to shrink as his pupils dilate, escaping to the far recesses of his irises as he closes the gap between you. “It’d be such a waste.”
“But I don’t have that kind of money,” you think out loud, still trying to logic your way out of this.
“Oh, I know.” He smirks, the seductive confidence now oozing out of his pores. “That doesn’t necessarily mean that you can’t help him.” He traces his finger over the artery in your neck as it pumps a more potent cocktail of fear and arousal into your bloodstream, forcing your lips to tremble. “Fortunately for me, you were in the right place at the right time when my men picked him up.”
“Fortunately?” You repeat, realizing now that it’s too late for mundane negotiations, that it’s far too late to fight your body’s natural urges.
“You’d do anything for your brother, wouldn’t you?” Eric’s fangs suddenly emerge as he touches more of your bare skin, revealing his true nature as his chest begins to heave.
Oh God. “I’ve never been bitten before,” you whisper without pulling away from his grasp.
“Never?” He leans down and whispers into your ear, the deep musk of his cologne surrounding you in a heady haze as his thumb presses against your racing pulse. He carefully wraps the rest of his cold fingers around your neck, holding you in place as he inhales your scent. “You haven’t even thought about it? About how good it might feel?”
His words turn your insides to quicksand, his breath hot on your skin as you dare to think about his fangs sinking into your flesh. You honestly hadn’t wondered about how it would feel until just now, your mind jumping ahead to the image of him latching onto your throat and tasting your blood before you’re able to give him an honest yet quiet answer. “No.”
“Not even now?” He slides his other hand between your thighs, triggering your most human response as that moisture begins to collect beneath the fabric of your jeans, soaking through the cotton of your underwear as your body takes over. “It only hurts at first.”
“My brother will find a way to get your money.” Your last ditch effort at peace is futile at best, knowing full well that it’s only a matter of seconds before your carnal desires win over.
“Will he?” Eric releases his grip on your neck only to grasp onto your hair, tugging on your scalp just hard enough to expose your throat. “I think we both know how hopeless your brother’s case really is.” He pulls tighter, jutting your chin up toward the ceiling as he turns you around and walks you back toward his desk like a rag doll. “Maybe I should just keep you here to start paying off that debt of his. I’m sure you could be of use.”
“Keep me here?” Your view of the ceiling tiles shifts in and out of focus as he slides his hand beneath the hem of your pants, lifting you up onto his desk while sliding his fingers between your soaking wet folds. Goddamn, that feels good, oh god… he’s really good at that. But wait a minute… Keep you here? How long was that going to last? How long are YOU going to last? “I don’t want to die.”
“Who said anything about dying?” He grins as he settles in between your legs, pushing his fingers inside your eager entrance as a salacious shade of hunger washes over his face.
His bite somehow takes you by surprise, the sudden piercing pain worse than you imagined as it breaks your skin, shooting daggers up through your spine. That sharp sting only lasts for a second though, his tongue massaging your skin as it works to lap up the hot flow of blood that leaks out of the corners of his mouth, racing down your neck and onto your clavicle. His needy moans vibrate against your throat as his fingers delve deeper inside you, his thumb rubbing delicious circles into your moistened clit, flooding your senses with a deadly concoction of agony and ecstasy.
So this is what all the fuss is about.
You start to moan along with him as he stimulates your most sensitive area, only no sound bothers to escape your lips. Your breath is stifled by the intoxicating mixture of cortisol and oxytocin flowing through your veins and into his mouth, halting any complex brain functions you might otherwise have at this moment. Your fingers find their way into his hair, tightening onto his golden locks in order to hold him against you in this morbidly sensual embrace.
He pulls more of you into his mouth as your strength begins to dwindle, greedily licking the length of your neck before nipping at your chin and jawline in between hungry attempts to clean up the scarlet mess he’s made of your skin. Those tiny little nips quickly turn into affectionate kisses on his way up your face until he reaches your lips, parting them with his blood-soaked tongue.
“Eric,” you’re finally able to moan, whining as his fingers slide out of your sex just in time to unfasten your jeans, leaving a trail of slick up your pelvis as he pulls them off your legs.
“You taste like a dream,” he smirks, your blood smattered across his face like a wild animal, the excess dripping down his neck and onto his chest, stirring something more primal in you than you’ve ever felt before. He can see it in your eyes as he runs his tongue across his teeth, holding his thumb against your bite in order to slow down your bleeding for the time being. “You like it, don’t you?”
You nod in silence.
“I knew you would.” He leans in close and kisses you again, letting you taste the iron of your blood until enough of it fills your mouth that you have no other choice but to swallow. It goes down easier than you anticipated, still hot and fluid down the back of your throat as Eric bites into his own lip, mixing the saltier flavor of his blood with yours. He smirks as you lean forward to kiss him back, no longer afraid as you take his bottom lip between your teeth and suck the spit and blood right off of it.
He has you now; hook, line and sinker.
Your desire for him increases exponentially as if your very life force depends on the continuation of his kiss, on the certainty of his touch. You feel that your very soul is connected to his now, tethered more deeply than you ever have been with anyone else. Your groans become louder as he lazily licks the blood off your tongue and teeth; his hunger for you only growing along with yours as you both continue to consume each other.
Making quick work of undoing his own pants, he shoves them down past his knees to reveal the evidence of his own arousal, grasping onto your thigh to make room for his hips.
Jesus Christ, he’s even bigger than you thought he’d be. Fuck. This is really happening, isn’t it?
“And to think that I was your first,” he snickers, stroking himself with his opposite hand as he spreads the remainder of your blood left on his palm over his enormous girth. He lines himself up with your dripping wet cunt, rubbing the tip of his cock up and down your length as waves of red hot bliss shoot up into your core before he pushes inside.
You cry out as your body takes him in, inch by undead inch as that rare connection between you only tightens like a rubber band pulling you two together as he bottoms out against your thighs. He only gives you a second to adjust to his size, pulling out just a little before slamming his hips back into you without mercy, sheathing himself within your walls before relentlessly repeating the motion again and again. That tingly red heat from before turns scarlet as it burns its way through you, igniting every neuron in your body as he quickens his pace, grunting as he hits that bundle of nerves inside you the way only a man who’s been alive for centuries would know how.
It’s as if he’s unlocked something within you that so many men before had tried and failed to open, expanding your pleasure throughout every tissue in your body from your capillaries right down to your fingertips. Bright, blinding lights flash before your eyes as your toes curl and your back arches, distracting you from his mouth latching onto you once again. You can feel his thrusts becoming more frantic, each pass over your slick special spot triggering another explosion of ecstasy as your muscles clench down around him, draining him of his more prized fluid as you both shake together in unison. His moans turn into groans as he drinks more of your blood, shifting into feral growls against your mangled skin as your heart rate eventually comes down from your climax.
“Fuck!” He pulls his fangs from you as he licks and kisses his way back up to your lips, a thin coat of your blood now covering you in a ruby red sheen as his come drips down your thighs and onto the floor. “I knew I could use you.” He winks before pulling out and kissing your forehead. “Only forty-nine thousand dollars to go.”
