I’ve been wondering If I reblogged art memes here, would anyone participate?

I know a lot of people probably don’t know my OCs, since I have.. a lot of them (and yes, I’d only be doing my OCs, I’m really not much of a fanart person anymore), but I think it could still work maybe? Just describing one of my characters if you don’t know their name is fine, or you could just say “random character” or something. I dunno, no one would be obligated, but I think it’d be nice if people wanted it.

hiii im sure you’ve answered this before but in regards to your twst x Pokémon, how do you choose which Pokémon go give to the cast?? really curious since your choices are unique :O

unique in a good way, I hope? 😅 (jk jk I haven't come across too many pokemon AUs, so I was going in without preconceptions, I guess!) I was sorta aiming somewhere between doing, like, a full AU with internal consistency and everything, and just picking entirely based on theme/character, so maybe that's why! basically I just set some arbitrary rules (no legendaries/no repeats/evo stages based on year) and then went on ~vibes~. a couple were also suggestions (thank you guys!) and last-minute decisions, so it was a bit of a delightful mess of ideas!

my one regret is that I should have given Riddle a Togedemaru after all. ...you know what, he can have one now, why not

Buttercups and Golden Flowers

#i drew this mostly because i noticed that a lot of people mistake buttercups and golden flowers as being the same thing.#so i wanted to try drawing them like. distinctly different in the same image.#it's not a big thing but i do think the fact that they're different has some significance. or at least like. symbolic meaning.#my art #undertale #chara #chara dreemurr #safeutdr #something about the fact that they both look similar at least in color but one of them is poisonous.#the way golden flowers are clearly a positive symbol throughout the game and clearly heavily associated with Chara.#contrasted with the very negative connotations buttercups have. with asgore getting sick and chara using them in their plan.#you never see buttercups in the game. which makes it even easier to mistake the two. because we've only seen one kind of #golden/yellow flower. who's to say 'golden flowers' aren't just referring to buttercups? well.#why would there be golden flower tea if they were poisonous? why would chara want to see the golden flowers from their village if they're #the same kind of flower? they clearly have buttercups in the underground.#it feels almost intentional the way golden flowers are so easily mistaken for buttercups. or at least that the difference is so subtle.#it goes well with the way they're associated so strongly with chara who's also a very subtle yet important part of the narrative.#from a surface-level perspective the flowers that took their life and the one's they actually like/are important to them are the same thing #but when you pay closer attention to the narrative you can see the different symbolic meanings.#well. uhh I've thought about it too much don't mind me.#see i think about it from the perspective of chara being super adamant about them being two different flowers #and frustrated when anybody gets it wrong. because clearly. CLEARLY they're not the same.#'STOP confusing buttercups and golden flowers. i literally used buttercups to kill myself do you think i would still like them after that?'#'do you think i want to be associated with them? they're not the same!!'#<number one golden flower enjoyer number one buttercup hater.#i need a badge that says 'i have strong opinions about chara dreemurr because i kin them. i apologize for the wall of text' at this rate.

#i was going to give barbatos the Long Flowing Locks but he strikes me as the type who WOULD adhere to the tie-it-all-up rule #but then he looked bald so i gave him a bit of leeway. i mean even a lot of cdramas don't follow the rule #then satan's hair is more wuxia novel protagonist (which i feel suits him) and solomon's is unfortunately all inside his hat #well the long hair is for authenticity (lol) not Hot Boy Look anyway #art #obey me #obey me barbatos #obey me solomon #obey me satan #jtta ik #anyway wrt the new nightmare: barbatos's outer robe (dachang) DOES look like hanfu #but then he takes it off in the deflowered look and it's. idk. a sexy gongfu vest??? satan too #not that i have anything AGAINST that but if you're gonna do chinese fashion i feel like hanfu is a shoe-in #based off the previews for celestial blessing i'm assuming diavolo+lucifer+asmo will be in the second nightmare for this event #and both parts of a nightmare usually follow a theme so most likely it'll be kung fu clothes 2 electric boogaloo BUT i will hold hop #if anyone should be in hanfu it's those three. lucifer for that cold elegance dia for that regal charm and asmo for that Beautiful Princess #regardless i will probably be drawing them in hanfu anyway. in fact i already have the idea for it #it'll be ddvd because i NEED to put zhao in beautiful clothes for once. and also i really want to draw something in earnest for this au

#should've just yoinked someone else's design and reference them #i feel like im drawing bloodhound/velahound/octane/omen/kayo/shaxx/kaiser all at the same time #i basically just look at a body part and see what my brain has for it and slap it on #probably the worst you can go for character design #doesn't have a lot of bones because i can't come up with any original design and i don't wanna actually search for any reference for ideas #oh well. i literally came up with this only when i need to draw his lineart for yesterday's comic so not exactly surprising #i love capes and mysterious hooded pure black shadowed head so not even gonna design a helmet for him #also solves the bone plug issue because for the love of void i can't even understand half of what ordan is saying #that's the consequence of giving all your skill points on mathy stuff and none on literature #i mean i guess the bone plugs are somewhere at or above the neck??? so it's gonna be covered up anyways #im probably gonna go for roughly this design for ordan karris for now #i feel like i shouldn't even let him talk because any dialogues i come up with ruins his image #but idk. how many cool and stern characters' image have i ruined up until this point? yeah definitely not the first time #warframe #warframe ordan karris #my art

Redraw of one of my favourite moments in Succession because Roman's my favourite and I wanted to practise drawing him but then I got too involved and turned it into a whole comic and I don't even really like how it turned out but I spent too long on it to not post it 😭

I wish I could do something more creative than just redrawing scenes from the show but I find the characters so difficult to write 😭 like I'm genuinely jealous of people who can write good fanfiction of them

hi i ride motorcycle year round and wanted to chime in. for vasco's small around-town trips he'd probably be fine with his ears free, but for longer trips at higher speeds or when its cold out he'd want them protected. probably by tucking them under his chin into the collar of a jacket and then putting a scarf or bandana on. also goggles would be helpful if a full helmet wasn't wanted. since they're in europe and around italy specifically he could have a nice ducati (fast rockety sport bikes) or a cafe racer (much more like a motorized bicycle but they can still have a lot of power) a cafe racer would offer a lot of seat space for machete to be thoroughly uncomfortable in lol

I've never riden a motorcycle so I wouldn't even know where to begin #the ears tucked under the jacket collar is a smart way to go about it #having hard time choosing a bike for him there's too many options #it looks like lots of ducatis have a very sleek and sporty vibe to them #loving the bright colors and the shapely design #cafe racers on the other hand come across as iconic looking to me and could potentially have a sort of vintage aura which I personally like #and the flat topline (I'm sorry I don't possess the right vocabulary for these things) that some of them have is visually pleasing #they'd be a nightmare to draw though since the frame is a lot less covered and there's a ton of complex mechanical detail in the midsection #bike viscera if you will #I don't know but it's fun to think about #thank you for chiming in! this was genuinely helpful #answered #anonymous #modern au

My party members! They love me! They have their own agendas and alliances!)#so of course a healthy portion of this AU is dedicated to them <3 #the Int skills go basically unchanged from DE. Psy as well (with changes to a few quirks in voice).#Fys skills though...well...wwx is in a different body! Those voices belong to Someone Else.#Esp electrochem (MXY in this AU also partied to near death. WWX is withdrawing and craving substances he's never even heard of before)#While I personally don't fully subscribe to Volition Jean I *do* see Volition Jiang Cheng. The voice of your Not Brother keeping you afloat #All three of these parallels make me unbelievably sad. They are also both purple. Art is like that sometimes.#Empathy Jiang Yanli...oh man do I have a lot of thoughts about her. the juppet !! i just realised he is jerma posing i swear that was unintentional...... i spent so long digging thru muppet concept art and looking at old puppet designs just to end up doing a rly simple drawing but. i love joehills!! i have only been watching them for like 4 years but their videos r so special to me :3
