did i ever tell you guys about my delinquent!iwa with a heart of gold x rich girl & oikawa's younger sister!reader?? where tooru and reader are the sheltered children of one of the wealthiest families in the prefecture meanwhile iwaizumi, who means well, can't help but run with "the wrong crowd" — they're not really all that bad. they're just boys. they're his childhood friends, of course he's sticking by them.
anyway, tooru, in typical tooru fashion, decides he wants to join their little group. your older brother has always been charming, so it's no surprise that he manages to endear himself to their little group. now your older brother is running around with the same delinquents your father criticizes at the dinner table. tooru never lets you join them, even if you beg and threaten to snitch (which you'd never do, and maybe that's why he doesn't take your threat seriously)
after a particularly nasty fight and everyone in the group has to scatter to flee from the cops, where does a bruised and battered iwa end up? hopping the gate to enter your parent's property, throwing rocks at your bedroom window. he thinks it's oikawa, but he knows he's made a mistake whenever you step out onto the balcony outside your bedroom. before he can run off, the fight he just got done with has finally taken its toll on his body and he finds himself knocking out onto the grass.
you drag him in. your parents are gone at one of their charity galas and it'll be a late night. you're home alone. you're home alone in your family's mansion, and it took all of your strength to drag this unconscious delinquent inside, and the marble floors are surely gonna get dirty, and—
—you patch him up.
you patch him up, and when he wakes up half an hour later, he's got hello kitty band-aids on and you're not letting him leave 'til he eats the ramen you made him. you're stubborn, just like your annoying older brother, so iwa begrudgingly eats the meal you took obvious care in making for him.
and somehow, he keeps finding himself coming back to you. sometimes under the guise of needing to see tooru, sometimes because you take a stern tone of voice different from your usual gentle cadence when you chastise him for getting roughed up & how if he refuses to take care of himself, at least let you apply some ointment to his cuts.
iwa knows he's in too deep, though, whenever he sees you taking care of a kitty one night.
"is that yours?" he asks, never having seen you with any pets. the kitten is cute, sure, but looks a little rough. skinnier than baby cats should be, that's for damn certain. looks almost like the strays 'round his neighborhood.
"nope. i saw her wandering around, looking all lost and lonely. she stops by occasionally, along with others."
"others?"
you nod, stroking the kitten's fur, smiling serenely as you watch her lap at the saucer of milk you provided. "there's a couple of dogs i pass by on my way to school." that explains why he once saw dog treats spill out of your school blazer pocket.
"you have a thing for taking in strays." he's joking, but his smile fades when you sadly answer him,
"yeah. but they never stay."
iwaizumi knows that in the eyes of your neighbors and the people in your social circle, he's your stray.
is he going to stay?

You remember it like it was yesterday, the very first time you met Benny Cross. Ironically, it was one of those sticky sweet days in June, just before the start of summer ‘65. The Chicago heat was hard to beat in the cramped little classroom you worked in on Phipps Avenue. Your third graders were all flushed faces with curly cues frizzing about, and their red little cheeks burned in exhaustion. It was no surprise that you lost their ears to the tsk tsk tsk of sprinklers swirling about on the school grounds. Even though the principal was against it, you were rather relieved to see your students running about the wet grass come dismissal.
It was a lovely reprieve, truly to be out of the shoe box you worked in at the end of the day. Sure, the heat hadn’t let up. It was awfully sweltering passing clammy hand to clammy hand to their designated pick up person. But you loved being a teacher. Moreseo you loved those sweet turned up smiles that graced those baby faces of your students as they chatted about their after school plans. Heading down to the local pool or picking up a firecracker pop at the corner store was such a sweet treat. It made you miss being that young again, finding hidden treasures through the little bits of life.
You moved like clockwork during dismissal, attentive as you made small talk with parents and hugged your students goodbye. The pick of the cycle was usually smooth on your part. You knew who tended to be retrieved right away and who was left hanging, so it took you by a hint of surprise when you found yourself still hand in hand with Mr. and Mrs. Davis’s little girls.
You knew the Davis’s well — as well as anyone could holding residence in the quaint village of McCook, Illinois. Mr. Davis and his wife Betty were perishoners at the local church you frequented with your Ma and Pa. St. Caron’s on the corner of Rose and Dawn. You’d see them all together in their Sunday best, the kids in puff pastry kind-of dresses packed together in a pew with their Ma, while their Pa was mulling about in his pressed suit and tie. There was no trace of the Vandals you’d come to know, the Johnny that would be amplified under that some-what imposterous clean cut demeanor. You’d see him solemn as ever ushering pew to pew with the collections basket for the poor and at communion during the mass.
Yet, if you had to name one thing that complimented Johnny to Mr. Davis, it had to be his consistency with being on time. Never once was he ever late to church. 12pm sharp he’d be looking at his watch, waitin’ for the priest and deacon to do their thang. The same applied for his children and their respected school schedule.
It took you a moment to remember the note from the office that was sent up in the afternoon. In your defense, mastering concentration in this heat proved almost impossible. Until it wasn’t. You could see the lovely writing of the secretary with that neat cursive of hers in the back of your mind, reminding you that the Davis girls would be picked up by their Uncle Benny come dismissal.
That would explain it, you thought. But would it really? Fathoming a member of Mr. Davis’s family not being as meticulous as him? You momentarily wondered how the man would react to such a thing as being late. You were sure it wasn’t in his vocabulary by any means.
Your fingers, engulfing the petite ones of the Davis girls, squeezed their hands reassuringly. “M’sure your Uncle Benny will be here any moment.” Neither of them said anything as you glanced between the two flanked at your sides, little eyelashes blinking up at you without a care in the world. And here you thought they would be just as anal-retentive as their father.
They weren’t.
Since the school yard was becoming less compact with people, and the principal put an end to the fun with the sprinklers, you figured some chit-chat wouldn't hurt to keep them occupied. “You girls have any fun afternoon plans?”
The Davis girl on the right, taller, darker hair, lookin’ far too much like her father — a carbon copy if you will — spoke up then. “Yes! Uncle Benny is takin’ us to a picnic. Gonna see Daddy race his bike, Miss. Honey.”
A bike race, huh? You couldn’t remember seeing anything in the McCook weekly papers ‘bout an upcoming cycling event. But, hey maybe you happened to miss it on your skim of the thing, when your Pa just so happened to put it down for a second durin’ dinner.
“Well, ain’t that sweet!” You chirped, smiling brightly at the girls with genuine excitement in your eyes. “Sure it’ll be tons of fun.”
“S’not when Daddy gets all muddy.” The smaller girl, the one that looked more like her mother. Lighter hair and lighter eyes said. Her tiny face contorted into a grimace.
Muddy? Weren’t cycling races on the roads?
Surely the town would block off the streets like they did for those celebratory parades. The little one was probably exaggerating.
“Aw,” you hummed, a frown dousing your features. “M’sure your Pa is just real dedicated, y’know?” You tried to bring out the bright side for your student. “S’like when you buy a fresh book and worry about those pages dentin’. Y’won’t know if you like it if you don’t read it, right?” The girls nodded. “Dentin’ the pages just goes to show all that love you had for that book while readin’ it.”
“I guess…” The Davis girl shrugged, tiny fingers wrapping about the strap of her pretty pink backpack. Seemingly, she wasn’t as impressed as her sister to the right.
You were gonna change the subject. Gonna start chatting ‘bout something else, when a twist of tiers against the pavement sent a squeak across the air. Your mother-hen instincts kicked in instantly, protective hands pulling the girls behind you without a second thought. All heads turned simultaneously to the intrusion on the road, expecting the worst. Expecting a crash of sorts. But no, there was no crash, just a slick car pulling abruptly up against the sidewalk and jerking to a startling stop. One that could only be equated to the driver going far above the speed limit in a school zone.
It went quiet. Far too quiet as the lot of remaining faculty, students, and parents alike kept their eyes peeled back sharply at the reckless driver. Funnily enough the attentive stares of onlookers could have very well been just as bad as those witnessing an actual crash.
You weren’t any better than the rest, collecting snap shot after snap shot like a roll of consecutive film. You could still hear the engine cutting out, the door swinging open and closing with a solid flick of his wrist. A wrist that would do far worse to you in the bedroom. Far worse in the eyes of your religious upbringing, but would feel too holy to you to be considered a sin.
You only caught a glance of him for a second until his back was facing towards you, thick white letters staking his claim with a skull and crossbones for the Chicago Vandals on his cut down vest.
You’d heard a thing or two about those motorcycle men. Your father ranting and raving about the disturbances near route 95 and police chases. But never, had you ever seen one of them in the flesh up close and personal. A shrill of unprecedented delight shot up your spine at the colorful sight, no longer reserved to those blurry black and white paper cuttings.
Stopping in his tracks, you figured his car must have broken down or somethin’ – but no. He was putting out his cigarette with his worn down boot before making his way over to you, and oh he had his eye on you alright.
A relative unease wahed across the school yard, harder than the obvious heat wave as he sauntered across without a care in the world. As if dozens of heads weren’t makin’ disgusted faces and whispering about. Yet a clear intimidation set over them, people stepping out of the way without a word as if he was a Bible figure. Like Moses parting the red sea.
“Uncle Benny!” One of them chirped. Who you didn’t know, couldn’t know with the sudden flush creeping against your cheeks. Your heart dropped to your stomach once you realized who it was and that the man himself with dirty blonde scruff, calloused fingers, and a black inked layer over a honey toned canvas was makin’ a beeline to you. A beeline to you and the girls.
It was the taller Davis girl that must have called out his name, cause suddenly she was pulling you and her sister forward to meet Benny half way. You almost tripped down the stairs within the broken bubble of her excitement. Barely having a moment’s notice to collect yourself, you found your pristine baby pink ballet flats toe to toe with some scruffed up biker boots that had seen better days. You managed a breath before you looked up and boy were you glad you did.
The wind was practically knocked clean out of you when you were caught face to face with the Benny Cross. It wasn’t because you were scared of him — no. You were more taken aback with how pretty he was. How his deeply set ocean eyes managed to speak volumes without saying a word.
And suddenly, on the front steps of Phipps Avenue School you felt seen. More seen than you had ever felt in your life. He wasn’t the only one sticking out like the sorest of thumbs. So were you with your baby pink tank to match your shoes with your signature embroidered denim overall dress. Hair up and out of your face, loose honey curls frizzing about. Your kitsch tastes and unpolished attire were rather baffling for the picturesque depiction gracing the magazines your Ma read at the salon.
Some would say you were lost somewhere in Neverland. Lots of your fellow teachers would crack jokes here and there ‘bout it too. Sure, on a bad day a jab or two could get to you — but hey you liked what you liked and you weren’t gonna change that. Not for anybody. Not even for your Ma or Pa who grimaced at your bedazzled pins wedged into your messy curls during Sunday mass.
So Benny, well who were you to judge him?
“Hi, you must be Uncle Benny,” you greeted the brood of a man in front of you, flexing a sweet-like-honey smile that was just oh-so-you. You let go of the Johnny look-a-likes hand then, allowing her to wrap her small self around Benny’s leg in pure delight to see him as you outstretched your hand in a shake. To your dismay, he didn’t take it. Instead, his free hand that wasn’t mushing up Johnny’s girls dark locks as he patted her head fished for his pack of Marlboro reds in his vest pocket. That didn’t stop you from introducing yourself though. “I’m Miss. Honey.”
He gave you once over, eyes tracing you from head to toe before the edge of his lip tweaked up in a sly smile. “Honey, huh?” He mused, that deep set voice of his, thick and smokey sweetin’ up something deep inside you.
Dropping your hand back down against your dress, the material felt rather rough on your clammy skin. “Yuh-huh.” You nodded, that tight smile of yours making your eyes twitch just a bit.
A fresh cigarette materialized between his teeth then, unlit. A strange courtesy you found rather charming on the midst of educational grounds. “Hm,” he hummed, the narrow cylinder vibrating against his lips as his eyes devoured you a second time. Yet, you figured he was more unimpressed. Most were anyways.
“Benny! Benny! Can we go see Daddy now?” The girl wrapped around his leg yanked his belt loop with a small finger. The little one was still at your side, hand in hand with you. It was kind of amusin’ how different the two were. It was simple figuring out who was the bigger Daddy’s girl of the two.
“In a ‘inute, sweet-art,” he mumbled, that cigarette of his disrupting any fully coherent sentence from spillin’ out. “C’mere ‘ittle one,” he motioned to the shorter girl who was rather uninterested in leaving. In the midst of your conversation, she managed to keep her hand raised, keeping herself conjoined to you as she sat down on the bottom step in complete and utter protest.
“Don’t wanna.” She pouted down at her bunny tied saddle shoes that matched her pretty little pick-tails.
In a sense, you couldn’t blame her. Now it was all adding up. What was really going on. This wasn’t just some run of the mill village cycling marathon. This was a Vandals bike race.
Any other teacher would have probably made a stink, called the parents in for a sit down with the principal over infiltrating their kids in a biker environment infused with criminal records. But, you weren’t like that — no. Especially when you’d see a child’s eyes light up with so much delight. It was clear that Mr. Davis’s look-a-like was really proud of her father. Who could blame her? Respected throughout the community, a family man who put his all into a trucking' job.
A picnic with some bike racin’ wouldn’t be so bad, right?
Not with Mr. Davis involved.
So, you gave the benefit of the doubt. Sure, it could have been for all those reasons that were swarming about your head, but in actuality your heart was working double time over your mind. The image of the Davis girl clinging to Benny’s leg had teddy bear written all over it, giving you all the sweet talkin’ you’d need. Ironically enough, in due time that soft side of him would turn into plushy lovin’ reserved just for you.
“Lemme,” you mouthed to Benny before getting down to the little one’s level. Flattening out your skirt you took a seat next to her and rested both hands over her own in her lap. “Remember when we were talkin’ about a good book? Dentin’ the pages?” The girl nodded, but didn’t meet your eye. Instead, Benny doing the opposite, his eyes practically grilled onto your peripheral vision. “Well, sometimes if we are too protective of it. Too keen on keeping it all in tack, we’ll never learn not to and we’ll just be more and more disappointed when we come across a little crack we never created in the first place. We may not like it, but it’s there, and there is so much love there.” You squeeze the little girl’s hand. “Just like your old man racin’. You may not like it, but he does, and that’s quite alright. You know why?”
“Why?” She looked up at you then, little doe eyes attentive as ever, clinging onto your every word. It was times like this that reminded you why you were a teacher.
“‘Cause you love him, no matter what” You replied, tilting your head ever-so subtly to observe her reaction.
And oh did Benny love you. He didn’t know it then. Couldn’t fully compartmentalize it until later. Yet, unbeknownst to you, it was one of the first of what would become many of Benny's thoughts on how damn good of a teacher you were, how fine of a wife you’d make, and how sweet of a mother you’d be.
Thankfully, your words must have resonated with the little girl. It only took a moment for those delightful dimples of hers to grace those little features before her lips turned up in a sweet smile. “We gotta go Uncle Benny!” The girl declared suddenly, standing up straight with a whole new attitude. You were glad to supply the optimism. That’s what you were all about. That was the lesson you hoped to instill to your students the most.
You couldn’t help but smile yourself, feeling like a warm blanket was being draped over your shoulders soundly. Not uncomfortable. Not contributing to the intolerable heat wave. You’d only been in your second year of teaching, but hey — small victories like this made it worth it. Made you proud of yourself, even if you couldn’t find such gratitude from others.
Little did you know, Benny — he was so fuckin’ proud. Proud to see you spreading such honey-coated wisdom to a youngin’. And there on the steep steps of Phipps Avenue school as the little one wrapped her arms around you and thanked you profusely before grabbing Benny’s hand and heading to Johnny’s car, he found his mission.
You were gonna be his wife.
He was sure of it.

❚ ❚ ❚ ❚ ❚ ❚ ❚ ❚ PRETTY WHEN YOU CRY kim chaewon x reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
↳ warnings richgirl!yn, read these three parts before this one if you haven’t already, getting glimpse into yn, chaewon is chaewon, mentions of weight & throwing up, yn’s family (a real warning fr), pre debut stuff
yn knew who she was from a very young age.
she came from an old money family, the moon family, but it wasn’t just any old money—it was wealth built over generations of hard work, or so her father would tell her.
her family was extremely important, involved in almost every major company in korea. they held a high status and were regarded with the utmost respect, held to the highest standards imaginable.
and oh was that standard installed in yn.
the numbers four, ten, fourteen, sixteen, eighteen and nineteen is something that yn will always remember for six important reasons. It's likely the reason she is who she is today.
IV
age four is the last time yn remembers really crying.
she probably cried before that, but she obviously didn’t have the memory to recall those times.
ever since she was born, she remembers being in her father’s arms, never her mother’s. her father took care of her along with her brothers.
yn knew her father wasn’t the best man, but he wasn’t the worst. at least he acknowledged all three of his children. while he definitely paid more attention to her brothers, he still looked after her.
her mother, though, never acknowledged her. even when yn was a little baby, her mother’s focus was always on her boys.
both parents’ attention was always on the boys—they were the future of the family, the men of the family. at least her father made a little bit of effort when it came to yn.
at age four, yn was at the age where all she wanted to do was play outside, winter had fallen and disappeared and it was finally getting warmer outside, so it was the perfect opportunity to go play outside.
she asked her dad to accompany her but he was getting ready for a meeting.
“go play out front,” he said patting her head, “it’s beside my window, so I’ll be able to see you, the gate is locked so it should be safe, it’s big enough for you to run around, just watch out for the flowers, the maid planted them yesterday.”
yn excitedly ran out of her father's office, dashed down the large marble steps, and headed for the front door, but not without bumping into one of her older brothers.
“where you are going?” daeun asked his sister.
"outside! dad said I can play out front," she replied eagerly.
the ten year old clicked his tongue and shook his head. "lucky you. after jae’s done getting ready with mom, I'm next." he was about to remind her that the whole family had dress fittings today for the ball they were hosting, but she was already out the door.
yn basked in the sunlight as she ran out front, rolling in the grass and sprinting on the concrete.
suddenly, her foot slipped, causing her to fall and hit her knee on one of the decorative stones. blood started to paint the stone red
yn let out the loudest cry imaginable, clutching her knee, not even caring about the blood on her hands.
“yn!”
yn looked up, she furrowed her eyebrows confused to see her mother running towards her and not her father.
“oh my- what happened?!” the woman asked kneeling in front of her daughter.
“I was running and tripped.” yn sniffed as her mom lifted her up, she wrapped her arms around the woman’s shoulders leaning her head down, “where’s daddy? I need him to look at my knee.”
“he’s in his meeting,” the woman informed the crying girl, “I’ll look at your cut.”
“but he always looks at them! do you know how to look at mine?”
the woman patted her daughters back as they made their way inside the big house, “I look at your brothers all the time, let me patch you up and then get you ready for the dress fitting.”
instead of arguing more yn just sniffled tightening her grip on her mother who walked further into the house.
“we also can’t be crying like this anymore yn, we don’t do that here.”
age four is also the first and last time yn remembers being held by her mother.
it was also the last time she remembers fully crying.
age four the standard was officially introduced to her.
X
yn thanked her father as he passed her a second piece of bread. "jae, pass me the butter, please."
"you're having another piece of bread?" her brother asked with a grin. "slow down on the carbs, yn."
"pass your sister the butter," their father said sternly. jae immediately quieted his laughter and slid the butter over to yn.
daeun gave jae hard nudge, “leave yn alone it’s not her fault she’s menstruating.”
yn's mouth dropped open as her brothers laughed. She looked at her mother with a betrayed expression. "you told them?"
"I had to," her mother shrugged, cutting the beef on her plate. "they might have been concerned about why you're eating so much."
yn pressed her tongue to the inside of her cheek. ehen she realized she was having her first period, she wanted to go to her dad, but what could he do? she knew she had to go to her mother, even if it made her uncomfortable
“yn is always eating though, especially this year.” jae said, “even the maid brings her snacks.”
“always snacking and writing those poems.”
"can you shut up, lardass?" yn snapped, getting ready to lunge over the large dinner table.
"leave your sister alone," their father said, taking a sip of his wine.
silence fills the table for their mother speaks up, “actually yn, I got your dress in a size four.”
yn looked up from her now abandoned bread confused, “size four? I’m a size eight though.”
“I know.” her mom shrugs, “I feel like you can be a little smaller, it would make you look attractive.”
“why does my ten year old sister need to be attractive?” daeun asked in a joking manner.
“you know what I mean.” their mother said before looking at yn, “you need to slim down a little honey, cut out some things.”
“can you two talk about this on your little girl hangouts.” jae cut in.
yn scoffed, “what girl hangouts.” she muttered to herself, her mother barely talks to her much less have girl hangouts, “may I be excused?” she looked at her father who nodded his head.
“where are you going?”
“the washroom.”
it had been two months since that dinner, yn stood in front of the mirror in her bedroom. her size four dress fitting perfectly.
“see,” her mother started, “you look so beautiful, size four is the size for you, I’m glad you took my advice on cutting out some food.”
yn stayed silent just look at herself in the mirror, she looked up at the ceiling as she felt the back of her eyes start the burn, the water threatening to spill out.
“are still sick?” she turned to look at jae and daeun who entered the room that their mother had exited.
“she was sick?” daeun asked look at his younger sister who sat her vanity, looking through her expensive perfumes.
“yeah for like the past two months.” jae said, “sometimes after dinner I would hear her throw up like crazy in the washroom.”
daeun raised his brow at yn who barley acknowledged jae’s words.
“can you guys tell dad I’ll be downstairs in a second.”
"Sure," jae said, tugging daeun along with him. daeun looked back at yn before shaking his head and following Jae out of the room. along with him.
there’s a reason yn will always remember the age ten.
XIV
the starting of age fourteen was weird for yn.
jae was eighteen and daeun was twenty , they were barely in the house these days cause they were making their way through training for the family name, they were slowly becoming more and more important to the family business.
while yn was stuck at in the big mansion she called home, her father was also out of the house, always at meetings and press conferences and if the boys are out the house her mother is also out the house.
so yn was really alone.
and she wanted out.
she was tired of the same routine, waking up, going to school, coming home, sleeping.
she laid on her big pink bed, humming along to the lyrics of hoot by girls generation that came from her cd player, she owned every album from the girl group.
yn loved music, she loved the singing, dancing and rapping, she could totally see her self doing that for living.
wait…
isn’t sm entertainment holding auditions…
today.
she jumped up from her bed and and ran down the marble steps of her house while she called her dad.
“hey daddy! I’m going out, where? oh nothing just want to get some fresh air, I won’t leave the gated community I promise.”
she knew if she called the chauffeur to drive her, he would tell her dad. yn huffed as she adjusted her skirt and her pink chanel sweater. she slipped on her Mary janes and turned off her phone.
she was going to have to make a run for it.
yn has never ran like this in her life, her father would kill her if he found out she was doing this but it felt so right.
she ran and ran until she was right in front of the recognizable building, sm entertainment.
she walked in to see a woman standing there with a paper in her hand, she look at yn and raised a brow, “hi! are you hear for auditions?”
“yes,” yn nodded her head, adjusting her sweater, “yes, I am.”
the woman scanned yn’s expensive attire, “really?”
“yes.” yn stated firmly, she could sense the woman’s thoughts, and if there’s one thing her father has always thought her, is to not let people underestimate you, she was above them. “is there a problem?”
yn adjusted her sweater even more, showing off the costum family crest that was sown into her sweater, causing the woman’s eyes the widen.
“oh nothing, the audition rooms is down this way.” the woman says gesturing down the hall, yn’s stern face melted into a kinda smile.
“thank you.” she said before walking down the hall.
as she walked she saw a line of people leaning on the wall beside the room.
yn made her way to join the line, standing beside a girl with bangs.
the girl looked at yn and smiled, “are you nervous?”
“this was kinda a rushed idea, so I don’t know how I feel yet.” yn said looking down at her mary jane’s.
the girl laughed and scanned over yn, “hey what’s up that that logo thing, I’ve seen it everywhere since i’ve been in korea.”
yn looked at the crest, “oh, it’s my family crest.”
“that’s cool, so your family is pretty big huh?”
“I guess who can say that,” yn said before looking at the backpack the girl had, “can you actually do me a favour.”
“depends on the favour.”
“can I put my sweater in your bag? and take it out after the auditions.”
“sure!”
yn unzipped her sweater while the girl opened her bag and stuffed it inside, “thank you so much.”
“no problem.” the girl says before looking at the shirt, “ I like your shirt.”
“thanks, it’s miumiu.”
“that sounds expensive, I’m yizhuo.”
“I’m yn.”
“good luck yn.”
“good luck to you too yizhuo.”
the girls stood in line for about an hour, yn listened to yizhuo talk off her ear about if they both made it into sm all the way until it yizhuo‘s turn.
yn looked at the time on her watch, her family wouldn’t be home for another couple hours, she should be able to get home on time , hopefully.
she watched as yizhuo walked out the room with a smile on her face, mouthing a good luck.
if they weren’t there before the nerves were definitely catching up to yn now, she took a deep breath and walked into the room to see three adults sitting.
she gave them a charming smile and stood in front of them.
“hello.” the woman out of the three said to the younger girl with a smile, “state your name and age.”
“I’m moon yn.” yn looks at the three adults, they were scanning her face as if they were trying to figure her out, “and I’m fourteen years old.”
“okay yn, what’s your specialty?” one of the men ask, looking the girls mary jane’s, how is she gonna dance in those?
“uh…” yn didn’t even know what to say, this was definitely an impulse decision on her end.
“always snacking and writing those poems”
“rap.” she states causing the three to raise their brows in surprise, obviously not expecting the girl decked out in pink to say that, “I love rapping.” she lied.
“show us you skills.” the woman said causing yn to mentally curse herself.
she looked deep into the back of her mind to find one of her writings, shaking off her nerves she recited something she wrote a while ago, her flow becoming better as she went on, trying her best to free style.
as she finished the woman nodded her head impressed, “did you write that yourself?” she asked writing on the paper in front of her.
“yes.”
one of the men hummed nodding his head, “now what song are you performing for us today?”
I guess her days of memorizing and singing girls generation songs and choreography is finally gonna pay off.
“I will be singing into the new world.” yn says shaking out her nerves.
the three nodded their heads surprised, this girl kept surprising them.
“let’s hear you.”
as yn started, all she did was think of the words her family members would tell her, to always show confidence, to show people that you’re better, and that’s what she did.
once she finished, she put her hand on her chest to smooth out her breathing, she can’t believe she just did that, the only time she’s done something like this was in the comfort of her big bedroom.
“thank you yn, you will definitely be hearing back from us.” the woman said to the girl who smiled and thanked them.
yn was about to rush out the room but was stopped by one of the men.
“are you related to the moon family, you look so familiar, like I’ve seen your face on tv.”
yn hesitated, she thought about lying but they would easily search her family up, “yes.” she nodded her head.
all three of them looked even more surprised, but yn had no time for more conversation rushing out the room and bumping into yizhuo, who had yn’s sweater in her hand.
“woah, you’re in a rush.”
“yeah, I have to head home.” yn said taking her sweater from yizhuo’s hand and dragging it on.
“wait can I get your number.” she asked handing yn her phone.
yn rushingly typed out her phone number in the girls phone and rushed out the building.
“it was nice meeting you!” she heard yizhuo yell.
and just like how she got to sm entertainment she got home the same way, she ran miles making her way to the gated community that she called her neighbourhood.
yn was about to make it through her gate, when she heard a familiar sounding car, she immediately ran to the back of the house and climbed the tall fence falling to the ground with a big thud.
she didn’t have time to whine about the pain and ran towards the outdoor stairs that lead to the balcony of her bedroom.
she slide open the clear sliding door and rushed into her room.
she took off her sweater letting out a sigh of relief until she heard foot steps heading towards her room, she threw the sweater across the room and jumped on her bed right on her stomach.
her bedroom door opened to reveal daeun, “dad wants to talk to you.” he said before closing her door.
yn felt a nervous feeling bubbling in her stomach as she got up from her bed and out her bedroom.
it was silent as she went down the stairs to find her father standing at the end of the stairs looking at her with a stern face.
“have a nice walk around the neighborhood?” he looked at yn who laughed nervously.
“yeah I got back an hour ago.” she lied forcing a smile.
“come with me.”
yn nervously followed her father into the dining area where the rest of her family sat staring down at her.
“sit.”
she sat beside jae who side eyed her before looking at their father, she hasn’t had much of an relationship with her brothers now that they’ve have started officially working with the family company.
she could brush of the obvious favouritism towards them when she was younger but as she got older the more she resented her brothers.
her father stood looking at her as she looked down in her lap.
“look at me, we don’t look down.” he said sternly causing yn to snap her head up immediately.
“now tell me why,” he starts, “one of my associates is telling me that they saw my daughter running around the city and entering the sm entertainment building?”
yn winced at the sound of her fathers voice before looking at her mother and brothers that just stare at her waiting for her to talk.
she couldn’t stay silent, if someone is talking to you, you answer them.
“I want to become an idol.” she says quietly, silence fills the air after her words.
“you want to become an idol?” her father asks shocked, why in the world would his daughter want to become an idol, “no, I won’t allow it.”
yn inched up in her chair looking at her father with pleading eyes, “come on dad, just look at it, if I debut and I have a perfect idol image, everyone will praise you for raising such a good daughter and bringing a good image to the family name.”
her father looks at her processing her words the look on his face made her hopeful, “I’ll be the best trainee to exist, I’ll be at the top of everything, I’ll be better than everyone, I’ll show them that the moon family is multi talented and not to be underestimated.”
there’s more silence.
“you’re gonna be at the top of everything, if you aren’t number one of everything I will take you out.” he says looking at yn who couldn’t fight her smile but dropped it immediately.
“thank you.” she replied in a level toned as her father just nodded in response.
“go to your room.”
she rushed out the dinning room and up the stairs to her room, as soon as she closed her door a smile broke onto a big smile.
she heard buzzing from her phone only to see an unknown number.
hey it’s yizhuo, I really hope we get to train together, wanna call rich girl ?
yn couldn’t help but playfully roll her at the nickname before typing out a sure.
she spent the whole night on the phone with yizhuo, she had never talked to a person like how she talked to her, she felt relaxed.
if she gets into sm she really hopes yizhuo gets in as well.
and her hopes came through.
yn squealed on the phone as her and yizhuo opened their letters at the same time, both of them being accepted into sm entertainment, meaning they’ll be training together.
yn will never forget fourteen.
XVI
age sixteen, was a age full of accomplishments and hardships.
she was number one for every single monthly evaluation since she started training at fourteen, living up to her promises she had made to her father.
the compliments that the trainers and senior idols that visited the trainees would say to her felt good, she had grown a passion for the little lie she made in her auditions she loved rapping, it was what she felt comfortable with.
but under all the accomplishments she has had, there was a girl who wanted to burst into tears everyday.
her father really took her words to heart about her being better than everyone, he told the company to make sure yn trained on her own in another practice room, making her isolated from the other trainees.
after a year yizhuo and her stoped texting and calling each other, yn’s head was full of training and being the best that she has barely paid attention to her phone.
she thrived in the praises her father would throw her when she would tell him that she hadn’t slept because she was training so much.
his thats my girls made her feel like she was on top of the word, with her father’s praises she didn’t need friends she didn’t want friends. all she wanted was to make him proud, maybe even have her mother finally notice her.
the other trainees would call her untouchable, and not in a good way she was pretty stuck up in their eyes, with her rich girl mentalities. when she was in the same room as them the aura always shifted she never laughed at jokes, she never cried at harsh feedback, she was always stone cold, when people tried to talk to her she would always say something shady and mean and walk off.
but she somehow came on top every time, even with her in their opinion shitty attitude.
she was like a robot, some of them wondered how she didn’t get tired.
but oh she did.
it was was five am and yn was currently passed out on the practice floor, she had been practicing since the early morning before with zero breaks, she didn’t remember the last time she had eaten anything but that didn’t matter when she was practicing.
voices were heard outside the door but yn didn’t even flinch completely out like a light.
“I never saw her leave yesterday.”
“why do you care yizhuo? didn’t she stop talking to you.”
“yeah but… I’m just worried.”
“is the door locked.”
“I don’t think so.”
“let’s check on her.”
the door creaked open and gasps filled the air, yizhuo and two other trainees jimin and minjeong ran over to yn’s passed out body.
“yn!” yizhuo shaking the girl who could barely open her eyes at the action.
yn tried to open her eyes fully but it was so difficult, she felt yizhuo pull her up to lean against her, “jimin unnie give her your water.”
jimin pulled the water bottle out her backpack and handed it to yizhuo who had to force the water in yn’s mouth since the girl could barely grip anything with how weak she was.
yn leaned against yizhuo as silence filled the air, the three girls looked at her with concern as she attempted to sit up.
“this is humiliating.” yn mumbled to herself as she looked at the three girls with red eyes.
“what happened?” jimin asked looking at the girl that she always thought was at the top of the world who currently looked like she fell off the top of the world.
“I don’t know,” yn said trying her best to keep eye contact with the older girl, “I was practicing and then I wasn’t.”
“you’ve been practicing since yesterday?” minjeong asked the girl shocked, she didn’t have much of an opinion on yn like how the other trainees did, she thought the girl was hard working to be honest, but now maybe a little too hard working, “have you eaten?”
“no, its whatever.”
“it’s not whatever.” yizhuo said looking at yn, “this is crazy yn, you’ve been blowing me off because you’ve been depriving yourself?”
all yn did was lean back onto the girl, exhaustion surrounding her.
“I was wondering how you stayed in shape, I guess the secret is you don’t eat.” minjeong said mindlessly, causing jimin to nudge her.
“hey,” the oldest started, “how about we go to the cafe across the street and get you something to eat, for yizhuo’s sake at least.”
yn looked at the older girl before letting out a sigh, allowing her to pull her off the ground.
jimin had firm grip on yn who could barely stand up as yizhuo and minjeong got off the floor.
“I’m practicing with you in this room for now on.” yizhuo said dusting herself off, “jimin and minjeong unnie are as well now.”
yn side eyed the girl, “I don’t think that’s allowed.”
“I don’t care, right?” yizhuo turned to jimin and minjeong who hesitantly nodded their heads in agreement.
yn stayed silent, looking at jimin In shock when she interlocked her hand with yn and guided her out the door, she barely knew the girl but was already acting so kind.
“I like your bag.” minjeong said to yn as the four of them walked, she picked it up for yn when they left th practice room, “how much was it?”
“actually never mind don’t tell me, It’ll hurt too much.” the girl cut yn off causing the other three to laugh.
yn will never forget sixteen because she acquired three of the most important people in her life at that age, plus another a year.
XVIII
age eighteen was when yn officially thought it was the end of the world.
after letting yizhuo, jimin and minjeong into her life she grew a sense of freedom.
she still worked just as hard as she did at sixteen but this time she had people looking after her, there was also a new addition to the friend group a year later.
yn laughed as aeri took photos of her in the practice room.
the five girls were put into a group together, they were told that they were gonna debut together, yn was just glad that she was debuting and with people she considered her friends.
“no fansite’s please.” yizhuo joked as she stood in front of yn guarding the girl from aeri’s phone, “that’s how we’re gonna act like when we debut.”
“knowing yn she’ll pose for them.” minjeong cut in laughing at the three girls.
“I’m made for the cameras.” yn joked posing for aeri while yizhuo kept blocking her.
“yn your phone is ringing.” jimin cut in on their fun, “I think it’s your dad.”
yn furrowed her eyebrows, why would he be calling her?
she took her phone from jimin’s hands and brought it to her ear, walking out into the hallway, “hey dad.”
“hey honey, I’ve got some news for you.” she couldn’t pin point her father’s tone as he talked, “the company is doing a partnership.”
“that’s good?” yn replied not understanding why her father needed to tell her this, the family barely talked to her about the business, “is that all?”
“no actually, it’s with hybe.” he said into the phone while yn tried her best to understand why he’s telling her this, “okay?”
“meaning you have to leave sm,” he says nonchalantly while yn felt like water had been poured all over her.
her heart was in her stomach, “what?”
“yeah, you’ll be transferred to be a trainee in source music.” he says it like he’s reading off of something, “you’ll be guaranteed a spot in their upcoming new girl group.”
“dad- I’m already in a group- I’m literally debuting in a couple of months.” yn felt like she was gonna throw up, all this hard work, her friends for nothing.
“this is business yn.” her father said sternly, “I can’t have you in company that could be a possible threat to money.”
“but you said, if I stay on top of everything I can stay in sm, I’ve been number one for the post four years almost five years.” she argues, this couldn’t be happened.
“I said you could be an idol if you stay on top of everything, nothing about the company.” her father said.
“dad please.” yn said into the phone her voice cracking.
“are you about to cry?” her father asked sternly, “we don’t do that, stop it.”
“I’m not crying.” yn said looking up, “just this is so unfair, I’ve worked hard.”
“so have I,” her father replied brushing off his daughter’s words, “it’s either you move to hybe or you’re not training anymore.
and with that he hung up.
yn took a deep breath to calm her nerves and opened the practice room door to only be met with four girls staring at her like they’ve seen a ghost.
“did you guys hear anything.” she asked, throwing her head back when they nodded.
“I’m sorry guys, he’s just such-”
“an asshole.” aeri cuts off looking at yn with sad eyes, “so you’re really leaving.”
“I guess I have to, this was just dropped on me out of thin air.” yn trying her best not to burst into tears.
“maybe we can all audition for hybe and become a group there.” minjeong said look at yn who slide down the wall and wrapped her arms around her knees.
“no you guys have worked too hard for that.”
“so have you,” jimin said, “this is so unfair.”
yn shrugged she looked at yizhuo who stared back at her, she could see the tears rushing to the girls eyes.
she smiled weakly at yizhuo who rushed to her side and bursted into tears, “this is so unfair, we were supposed to debut together, now what? you’re back to being a trainee?”
yn and the rest of the girls hugged the crying girl, “it’s okay.”
“it’s not okay.” yizhuo said harshly, “you’re supposed to be crying with me.”
yn couldn’t help but laugh at the girls words, “I’m sorry, I’m just trying to convince myself that this is fake.”
the girls huddled together in silence, “he said I have guaranteed spot in the line up for their new girl group.”
“so I guess we’ll see each other music shows?” aeri tried to lighten the mood, causing the girls the weakly laugh.
yn will never forget age eighteen, it was the year all her hard work went down the drain.
XIX
age nineteen was the age of complete chaos.
yn’s year of training at hybe was a lot, it was draining.
she trained under source for a while and hated it, she met a couple of girls that she was in the lineup with for the new girl group, they were pretty cool but it wasn’t the same as sm, she was the oldest out of all of them and didn’t connect with the girls much.
she had to watch aespa debut from behind the screen while she was stuck in the source music practice room, she still couldn’t believe her father, she always had a feeling that the family business would be put above her feelings one day but I guess she didn’t think that day would actually come.
she still talked to the girls who were now idols but it never felt the same on both ends, they were supposed to be together.
her days under source honestly felt like they were merged into one, everything was the same.
that was until yn was told that she was going to be moved under another label under hybe called ador with five other girls.
the six of them were gonna be the first new hybe girl group.
the girls were sweet, it was obvious all of them looked up to yn as a big sister, they also thought how rich she is was pretty cool.
but it was like the world was against yn because as soon as yn and the other ador girls were getting closer and getting ready for their debut yn got a call from her dad.
yn leaning against the mirror of the practice room, “hello?”
“hey honey did you get then news?”
yn slide down the mirror and say on the floor crossing her legs, “what news?”
“you’re getting moved back to source.” he says nonchalantly, “tomorrow to be exact.”
yn squeezed her eyes, “dad, you’re joking right?”
“when have I ever joked with you?”
he’s right, “so what? just like last time I can’t debut.”
“not exactly, plans changed I was told that your groups debut was gonna be postponed and that another girl group was gonna be debuting,”
yn furrowed her eyebrows she was not told this at all, “so what?”
“so, I told them that you would be a good asset to the group, you’re probably the most talented and would bring a lot of attention,”
“so I’m debuting in another group?”
“yes, you can thank me.”
yn rolled her eyes into the back of her head, “thanks dad…bye I have to tell the other girls.”
as much as she didn’t want to admit it she was excited to finally become an idol, all this hard work would finally mean something.
it was weird walking into that practice room full of other girls that have been working together, she was the new girl.
“this is yn, she will officially be apart of the lineup and will be working with you guys for now on, we’re gonna try our best to help her with the choreography and help her catch up with things, make her feel welcomed, she’s a really important figure, I’ll leave you guys to get to know her for a little.”
she tried her best to ignore the last sentence, her family followed her everywhere like a shadow.
“hello.” she said confidently even though she felt slightly uncomfortable under the eyes of the six girls.
she gave them a charming smile, “don’t worry I’m a fast learner, I think.”
she heard a giggle come from a girl standing in the far right causing yn to raise a brow at her.
“sorry,” the girl cleared her throat, “I’m kazuha.”
yn gave her a smile “nice to meet you kazuha.” she says before looking at the other girls.
she nodded along as they stated their names before looking at the last girl who just stared at her, “and yours is?”
“you don’t know me.”
“no sorry.”
“I’m kim chaewon.”
yn furrowed her eyebrows at the way the girl said her name to her, like she had some sort of authority over she, she didn’t like it.
“I’m moon yn,” yn responded, she didn’t have to say her name, that was already told earlier, but she felt like she had to.
chaewon raised a brow at yn’s tone, “rich girl huh?”
yn narrowed her eyes before turning towards the girl who had introduced herself as kazuha, “you seem cool, wanna show me some of the choreo before we have to start practicing?”
yn hasn’t acted this stand offish since she started at sm but it seemed needed, she couldn’t just let anyone talk to her the way they wanted, that’s not what she was taught.
the girl smiled at yn, “sure!”
as yn let the girl drag her to the other side of the room she heard the chaewon girl say something to the taller girl beside that she learned was yunjin, “this is who we lost ruka to? a stuck up rich girl?”
she decided to brush it off, it was the first day, they would probably warm up to each other.
oh how wrong was she.
nineteen was the age things officially went both uphill and downhill for yn.

Rápido
Alexia Putellas x Jenni Hermoso x child!reader
Warnings: none except more shitty writing sorry
You’re still only small, still wobbly on your little legs, and still along way off being able to express your feelings opting to often at times throw tantrums.
You’ve spent more time on football fields than in playgrounds, more time in locker rooms, training rooms, and even physio rooms than a nursery, interacting with children your own age. But that’s to be expected when your Mama and Mamaí are world-class athletes playing for one of the best teams in the world. Surely the experiences they give you during your globetrotting are way better than the silly little nursery, your classmates are also professional athletes who know how to walk, talk and write, is that not better for you than some other snot-nosed two-year-olds who cry when they can’t reach a colour to draw on paper with.
But while all of these experiences are great, you’ve never really learned to share, you haven’t had to, your Mamaí’s are yours, your Tia’s and Grandparents are too. They have to be, they don’t spend any time with any other little kids like they do you. Your their baby, the teams baby they remind you as such when you start to kick off at the sight of them holding other kids hands as they walk out on to the pitch while your stuck with your Tia Alba and Abuela.
It was routine at this stage frustration would bubble in your tiny chest like a deflated soccer ball. You would stomp your foot, a wobbly attempt that would send you teetering before Tia Alba swooped you up, whispering words you didn't quite understand in order to calm you down.
Today is different though, you don't arrive at the stadium with Tia Alba and Abuela, in fact, you don't even get dropped off at Abuela's house, maybe your Mamai's forgot but you don't dare let out a sound in case they remember.
A grin stretched ear to ear on your face as Mama hoisted you out of the car seat. The familiar scent of freshly cut grass and popcorn mingled in the air, a symphony that announced you'd arrived at your favourite place – Camp Nou, Barcelona's legendary stadium. But today, something felt different. It was just you and Mamai's. Mama was here, her strong arms scooping you up and burying your face in the familiar scent of sweat and something sweet that must be Mamaí's perfume. While your Mamí retrieves everyone's bags from the back of the car before coming over and smiling down at you.
"Hola, Rápido," Mamí chuckled, her voice warm against your ear. "Excited for the big game?." You nod happily "Si, Mamí."
Suddenly, there's a loud shout from behind you and your Mamaí’s turn to see Mapi running straight for you all.
"There's my favourite niece!" she exclaimed, reaching out her hands. You giggled at the energetic defender reaching towards her, wanting to be passed off. Your Mama laughs happily giving you over "Hola to you too Mapi." Mapi waves your Mama off as she starts talking to you excitedly and begins to walk inside, Ingrid pulls your Mama into a hug "Hola Ale, Jenni how is Rápido today?." Your Mamaí’s begin to walk in with the younger Norwegian as they smile at the sound of your giggles. "She is good, she still doesn't know about the surprise yet." Ingrid smiled watching your interaction with Mapi as they made their way into the changing room "I think she'll love it."
Your eyes widened as you entered the locker room, hand clutched tightly in Mapi's. It wasn't just the usual pre-game buzz. Today, colourful balloons were tied to every locker, and a giant banner adorned the wall that read: "Welcome to the Team, Rápido!"
A gasp escaped your tiny lips. All your Tia's, your Mamaí's teammates, were gathered around, beaming at you. Cata, the gentle giant of a goalkeeper, knelt down, her arms outstretched. you were, usually shy around so many people, but you ran towards her, a shy smile forming on your face. Cata scooped you up, showering you with tickles, making you erupt in a fit of giggles.
Suddenly, a booming voice filled the room. "Rápido!" It was your Mama, holding a tiny Barcelona jersey with the number "10" emblazoned on the back. It was small just like you, the number your Mamí always wore. Your eyes welled up with a mixture of confusion and excitement.
Mama explained, "This is your jersey, Rápido. You're officially part of the team now!"
Unable to word how grateful you were you ran straight for your Mama, who didn't hesitate to pick you up and hold you close and squeeze her as tight as your little arms could "Gracias Mama." Your Mamí lets out a gasp pretending you had hurt her feelings after not coming over to her. You wiggled out of your Mama's arms as she put you down before running over to your Mamí " Wow so fast Rápido." You nodded happily before trying to squeeze her just like you did your Mama "I'm wearing you." Mamí laughs "Yeah you are wearing my number."
The locker room erupted in cheers and whistles. Mapi hoisted you high in the air, your tiny "10" jersey flapping in the excitement.
Ingrid ruffled your hair playfully. "Looks like we have a new teammate, and she's already stealing the spotlight from Alexia!"
Your Mama, playfully nudged Ingrid with a grin. "Don't worry," she winked, "I think Rápido has plenty of time to learn from the best."
Cata, still beaming, handed you a miniature soccer ball. It was soft and squishy, perfect for your tiny grasp. You bounced it clumsily on the floor, sending giggles rippling through the room. You lay the football down stepping back from the ball and looking at Cata before kicking the ball as hard as you could, Cata softly fell to the right as your ball rolled left past the goalkeeper. The locker room erupted into cheers as the door opened and Jonatan walked in.
"Ladies we have a game to get ready for vamos." The room let out a small apology as your Mamí picked you up putting you on her bench before getting changed into her own kit.
"So you're going to walk out with Mama doesn't that sound fun." You nodded "And you." Mamí shakes her head "No remember I have to hold another little kid's hand." You looked at her confused "Why."
The confusion etched on your face tugged at your Mamí's heartstrings.
"Because today," Mamí explained, kneeling next to you, "we get to share the walkout with other special little kids. Just like you get to today."
Your brow furrowed, the gears turning in your tiny mind. The idea of sharing wasn't entirely foreign, but it usually involved toys, not something as special as walking out onto the pitch at Camp Nou.
That same frustration bubbled in your tiny chest like a deflated soccer ball only this time it felt ten times worse.
You shook your head confused as to why you couldn't walk with both of your parents like you normally do happily in the middle "but why."
Suddenly, the locker room door opened "Ok ladies to the tunnel." Your Mama comes over taking your hand "Ready Rápido?." You shook your head "No Mamí." Your Mama looked at you her eyebrows scrunched together in confusion "Mamí is right there."
You turn your head just in time to see your Mamí take the hand of a random little girl.
A pang of jealousy shot through your heart as you watched Mamí clasp hands with the unfamiliar girl. Her smile, usually reserved for you and Mama, was directed at this stranger. You mumbled, a tiny voice barely a squeak, "But that's not me, Mamí."
Your Mama's brow furrowed. She crouched down, her warm brown eyes filled with concern. "What's wrong, Rápido?"
You struggled to find the words, your lower lip trembling slightly. Finally, it tumbled out, a garbled mess of emotions, "Walk out... with you... and Mamí ... in the middle..."
Your Mama tries but fails to stop your tears and before she can even talk to your Mamí about it the referees in front are walking towards the pitch.
Your Mama tries to walk out after them but your feet are planted firmly to the ground and you are really crying now Alexia knows you are boarding on a tantrum and the Camp Nou tunnel is not it the place for it so she scoops you up Instead, pulling your head into her neck as you continue to cry.
The cheers of the crowd outside the tunnel were a distant roar compared to the storm raging inside you. The hope of walking out with both your parents, a tiny hand held firmly in each of theirs, felt stolen, replaced by an unfamiliar girl who had somehow usurped your special place.
Mama, ever perceptive, felt her frustration even through the tears. "Shh, Rápido," she whispered, "It's okay to feel sad."
Pulling back slightly, she wiped your tear-streaked face with a gentle thumb. "Remember what I told you? Sharing your Mamí and I doesn't mean we you any less. This a chance to share the magic of the game with other little fans, just like you."
You sniffled, trying to process this. Sharing toys was okay, even sharing snacks with you Tia's sometimes. But this felt different. This was your little family.
Sensing your hesitation, Mama smiled. "Why don't we make a deal? Right now, your Mamí walks out with the other little girl and holds her hand. Later, all three of us to walk together and Mamí and I will swing you, would you like that?"
At this point your standing in line every other mascot in front of a Barcelona player except you as your Mama still tries to bribe you.
A tiny spark of hope flickered in your eyes. The thought of playing the swing game might just be enough for you to settle.
Your Mamí looks over to you and Mama worries etched across her face but Alexia just shakes her head and so Jenni turns back to the front.
You only begin to calm down after your Mama has pinky promised to swing you after the match, only then are you happy to go off and sit with Abuela and Tia Alba telling them happily about scoring on Cata and how Mama and Mamí are going to swing you.
Later, as the stadium erupted in cheers, Mamí found you by Abuela and Tia Alba. you were, still buzzing from the match rattling off all your favourite moments as Mamí listened patiently.  At a pause in your ramble Mamí held up her pinky finger with a wink.
"Swing time, Rápido,?" she asked.
You squealed with delight, launching yourself into Mamí's arms for a tight hug. As you walked towards your Mama, the tantrum and jealousy from earlier had completely disappeared.
Grabbing your Mama's hand you let out a scream as they swung you high into the air laughing at your little giggles. You still have a long way to go with sharing but for now, it's just you and Your Mama and Mamí.

If you want a drabble or maybe a fic for one of these scenarios then drop an ask.
NSFW BELOW THE CUT
Casper doesn't really know how things work in the human world. Sure he watched from the side lines but that's it.
So you take him out and decide to have some fun to.
Imagine: Taking Casper out to a restaurant. It was a perfect meal and you have the perfect dessert in mind. You shove Casper into a bathroom stall and pulls his dress pants down. Casper asked what you are doing but his question is cut off when you bury your face into his ass. You eat him out while he moans with a hand clamed over his mouth. Trying not to moan to loud, someone just came into the bathroom. But he can't when you eat him out like he's a five star meal.
Imagine: You take Casper clothes shopping. Casper didn't have many clothes since he ran away. Casper tried on many things, even lingerie. Casper had no idea what they were, but you didn't believe him. So you fucked him in the changing room. Lingerie pulled to the side, dick moving in and out at a fast and rough pace. You covered Casper's mouth with your hand to stop him from alerting anyone. Safe to say you brought the lingerie, after they were covered in cum.
Imagine: You take Casper to a park. Casper loves watching the animals and children running around happily. He also loves sucking you off. In a saclued place of a park, against a tree, with the faint sound of people. Casper groaned as you fucked his throat like a flesh light. Casper rutted against the grass as he and you came. Cum now painting his throat and pants.
Imagine: Taking Casper shopping. Show him things like candles, flowers(that aren't stolen from an old lady), and sex toys. Gags, dildos, butt plugs, vibrators, everything. VELVET CHAINS
Passion
The sun was warm but not scorching, and the sound of children's laughter echoed through the park as Billy and Tommy ran circles around a tall tree, each holding a plastic stick like a sword. They were so full of energy it was hard to keep up, but the glow on their faces made everything worthwhile.
You were sitting on a checkered blanket beside Wanda, your bare feet touching the soft grass. She had insisted on bringing a basket filled with fruits, sandwiches, and a homemade pie that promised to be delicious. Next to you, she seemed completely at ease, a rare, serene smile lighting up her face as she watched the boys play.
"I should’ve brought a shield to defend the world from those two," you joked, laughing as Billy tried to attack Tommy with a dramatic pose.
"Don’t worry," Wanda replied, her eyes sparkling. "They only attack those who deserve it."
You laughed, but your laughter was cut short by the touch of her hand on yours. It was a simple gesture, as if she wanted to catch your attention while pointing out something funny about the boys. But there was something about that touch—in the way her fingers intertwined with yours, firm yet gentle. The warmth traveled up your arm like an electric current, and suddenly the world around you seemed blurred, as if only she mattered.
You glanced down at your joined hands and then up at her face. Wanda wasn’t looking at you; she was smiling at the boys as though holding your hand was the most natural thing in the world. But to you, it wasn’t natural. It was overwhelming.
Your heart started to race, and you felt panic rising in your chest. Was this what it felt like to be in love? It couldn’t be. It shouldn’t be. You knew how complicated things were, knew there wasn’t room in her life for you beyond the place you already occupied. But in that moment, as you watched the sunlight dance in her hair and felt the warmth of her hand on yours, you had to admit to yourself: you were falling.
Wanda turned to you, her green eyes meeting yours, and it was as if she could see straight into you.
"Are you okay?" she asked, her voice soft but tinged with concern.
"Yeah," you replied too quickly, diverting your gaze to the picnic basket. "I just... there’s so much food, huh? I’m not sure we’ll manage to eat it all."
She chuckled softly, giving your hand a light squeeze before letting go. "I brought it because I know my little monsters. They’ll finish all of it before we get home."
You tried to laugh along, but the truth was, without her hand in yours, the world suddenly felt less bright.
As Billy and Tommy ran back for water, laughing and arguing about who had won the "battle," you couldn’t stop thinking about that moment and swore to keep it all a secret. From yourself.
You’d always thought you knew what passion was. The butterflies in your stomach when Kate laughed that carefree way. The heat that crept up your cheeks when Sharon brushed her fingers along your arm while talking. You’d thought those feelings were intense, overwhelming. That they were everything someone could want.
But now, with Wanda, all of that felt like a lie.
With Kate, there was a lightness, almost a game. She was charming, fun, but always kept a certain distance. With Sharon, it was different, closer, but even in the most intimate moments, there was a void you could never explain.
Wanda, however... Wanda was something else entirely. She was a storm.
It was as though, by her side, the entire world shrank, becoming small and irrelevant. When she looked at you with those deep green eyes, it was like all the air was sucked from the room, leaving you vulnerable, exposed, unable to think of anything but her.
You tried convincing yourself it was just another crush, like the others. Told yourself it would pass. That it was just her way, the intensity with which she lived, the way she commanded every space she occupied.
But every time she touched your hand, even casually, you knew you were lying to yourself. Her touch left a mark, a warmth no one else had ever ignited in you.
Kate and Sharon were soft breezes, but Wanda was a wildfire. One that consumed everything, leaving you breathless and trapped, and strangely, you didn’t want to escape.
It was more than physical attraction, more than anything you’d ever experienced. It was as if every fiber of your being cried out for her, as if your body and soul knew something your mind desperately tried to deny.
And that was what scared you.
With Kate, with Sharon, you had control. You could measure your feelings, fit them into neat, safe little boxes. But with Wanda, there was no control. No logic. There was only an all-consuming desire, a need that left you at her mercy, even when she had no idea of the chaos she caused within you.
You hated it. Hated the vulnerability, the intensity, the way she made you feel small and infinite all at once. But most of all, you hated that none of your previous loves came close to what you felt for Wanda.
Kate was comfort. Sharon, security. But Wanda? Wanda was the abyss.
And you were falling.
Until, after a few days, everything began to crumble.
Wanda watched you from across the room, her gaze fixed on you as you flipped through a book without actually paying attention to its content. The air was thick with a tension she couldn’t quite describe. Over the past few days, everything seemed wrong. Your fingers no longer intertwined with hers like before, and your laughter, which used to fill the house with life, now sounded restrained, almost mechanical.
It was subtle, but Wanda was a woman who noticed details. You avoided her eyes. Your hands fidgeted whenever she was near. When she tried to touch your face or hold your hand, you pulled away—just a small, almost imperceptible step. But to her, every tiny retreat was a blow that resonated deeply.
At first, she tried to rationalize it. "Maybe it's just stress." "She's been studying so much." "She's tired." But those excuses weren’t enough to silence the thoughts growing like weeds, poisoning her mind.
What if you were trying to leave her?
The thought hit her like lightning. The logic seemed absurd, but the more she thought about it, the more sense it made. You were distancing yourself to create emotional space. Maybe you’d realized how much she depended on you. Or worse: maybe you’d fallen in love with someone else.
Yelena?
Jealousy and paranoia began to taint every thought.
While you read in the living room, Wanda stood in the kitchen, washing a dish that had already been clean for at least two minutes. Her movements were methodical, but her mind was a storm. She could picture you pulling away, coming up with an excuse, inventing a reason to leave early. In her imagination, you were planning a way to disappear.
She clenched her eyes shut, the water running over the forgotten dish in her hands. No. She wouldn’t let that happen.
“Y/n?” Her voice suddenly rang out in the room, sharp and weighted, making you look up from the book, startled.
“Yes?” you replied hesitantly.
Wanda dried her hands slowly on the dish towel, her movements controlled, almost rehearsed. But her gaze was an abyss of conflicting emotions.
“Why have you been avoiding looking at me?”
Your heart raced. It was impossible to lie to her, but the truth felt too heavy to lay between you both at that moment.
“I’m not…” you began, but stopped when you saw the intense gleam in her eyes.
“You are,” Wanda interrupted, walking slowly toward you. “You barely talk to me. You barely touch me. You used to look for my eyes in every room, and now you can’t even meet my gaze.”
“I just... I’ve got a lot on my mind. Studying for Yale has been taking up so much of my time.” Your voice wavered, and that only made Wanda’s suspicion grow.
Wanda’s steps were deliberate as she approached, her gaze so intense it made it hard to breathe. There was something about her posture—a mix of forced calm and simmering fervor—that set off every alarm in your body. She stopped in front of you, her presence radiating warmth and an energy that seemed to dominate any room she entered.
“I can fix that,” she said softly, her voice dripping with a cruel kind of sweetness, as though she were speaking to a child who didn’t know what was best for themselves.
“What...?” you asked, trying to sound steady, but your voice came out hesitant, almost a whisper.
She tilted her head slightly, her eyes analyzing every detail of your face as if trying to uncover the secrets you so desperately tried to hide.
“You think I don’t notice?” Her voice was quieter now but heavy with emotion. “You’re building distance. It’s not just Yale. It’s not just stress.”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” you lied, your fingers nervously toying with the edge of the book in your lap.
“Don’t lie to me, Y/n,” she countered, the intensity in her voice making you flinch. She leaned down, her hands resting on the sides of the chair, caging you in place. “I can feel it when you’re pulling away. I can feel it when I’m losing you.”
Your heart raced. Losing you? That wasn’t how you saw it. You were trying to regain control over yourself, to put a barrier between the overwhelming love you felt for Wanda and the life you knew you needed to pursue. But she saw it as abandonment, as rejection.
“Wanda, I...” you started, but your voice faltered when her eyes burned even deeper into yours.
“You don’t need to go to Yale,” she said suddenly, her voice calm in a way that felt almost like a trap.
The statement hit you like a slap. “What?”
“Yale is a distraction. An excuse to pull away from me,” she continued, her hand sliding to your chin, holding it gently but firmly enough that you couldn’t look away. “You don’t need it. Everything you need is right here.”
“It’s not that simple, Wanda,” you replied, your voice almost a sob.
“Why not?” She arched an eyebrow, her expression flickering between frustration and hurt. “Are you trying to run away from me? Is that it? Am I not enough for you?”
“That’s not it!” you protested, tears welling up in your eyes.
“Then what is it? Tell me,” she insisted, her voice growing more desperate, even though her face still held the mask of control she fought so hard to maintain.
You swallowed hard, a lump forming in your throat. How could you explain to her that the problem wasn’t her, but the overwhelming love you felt? That you needed distance because if you stayed, you’d end up losing yourself completely in Wanda, sacrificing everything you dreamed of just to be consumed by her?
“I... I need something more than this,” you finally murmured, not brave enough to tell her the full truth.
“Something more than this?” she repeated, a note of disbelief in her voice. “I am something more than this. What we have is more than enough. You know that.”
Her fingers brushed your cheek, and your heart broke as you saw the conflict in her eyes—the fear of losing you and the need to hold on to you.
“Please, Wanda,” you whispered, a tear sliding down your face.
But she didn’t seem willing to relent. “If Yale means losing you, then you’re staying.”
The room fell silent, the weight of her words pressing on you like a storm.
Once again, you sighed, exhausted—this entire argument was overstimulating your mind.
“Wanda, it’s not like that,” you began in a softer, wearier tone. “I can promise you, I don’t want to be away from you.” You took a chance, holding her hands in a gesture of comfort.
“Did I do something?” Wanda’s voice was firm, almost cold—but there was a trace of fear in her tone.
“No!” you exclaimed, though deep down, you knew she had—yet falling for Wanda had always felt inevitable. “You’ve done nothing but be kind and an amazing mommy.” You caught a glimmer in Wanda’s tearful eyes, as if that was all she needed to hear. “I just… I’m not ready to talk about it right now.” You exhaled the breath you hadn’t realized you were holding. Even though you hadn’t said everything, it felt like enough—and it was true.
“Are you sure… you’re not planning to leave?” The older woman’s voice wavered, the final words choking slightly.
Your eyes widened, startled by the intensity of the question. “Leave? Wanda, what are you talking about?”
“You think I don’t know?” Her voice grew louder, though still edged with danger. “You think I can’t tell when someone is building walls? I’ve seen it before. You’re trying to escape, aren’t you? Finding a way to leave me.”
“That’s not true!” You stood up, feeling desperation surge within you.
“Then look at me,” Wanda demanded, her voice thick with pain.
You tried, but the weight of her gaze—so full of hurt, fear, and something deeper you couldn’t identify—was too much. Your eyes darted away, and that was all Wanda needed.
She took a step back, crossing her arms over her chest as though shielding herself. “You can’t even look at me…”
“Wanda, please…”
“No!” Her anger finally erupted, though tears filled her eyes. “You’re mine! You know that! And I won’t let you run away.”
The silence that followed was unbearable. Her words lingered in the air, heavy with pain and possessiveness. Abruptly, she turned and left the room, the sound of the door slamming behind her thunderous against your heart.
Wanda stormed into the bedroom like a hurricane. Anger simmered beneath her skin, mixing with a pain so profound it felt suffocating. Her mind replayed the words spoken—and unspoken. The hesitation in your voice, the way you avoided her gaze, ate away at the control she fought so hard to maintain.
She’s leaving me… She’s pulling away… I can’t lose her.
It was then Vision entered, his usual serene expression almost irritatingly calm. He looked at her with concern, clearly sensing the charged tension in the air.
“Wanda,” he began gently. “Is something wrong? You seem… troubled.”
She stepped back, crossing her arms defensively. “It’s none of your business.”
Vision remained unfazed. He moved closer, his gaze analytical yet compassionate, trying to bridge the distance she was desperately trying to create.“Wanda, we’re partners. You can tell me what’s going on.”
“Partners?” She let out a bitter laugh, sarcasm dripping from every word. “Do you even understand what that means?”
Vision frowned, confusion evident on his face. He reached out to touch her, but Wanda recoiled, her gaze hardening.
“Don’t touch me,” she growled, her voice low, almost dangerous.
“Wanda,” he tried again, stepping closer, but the look in her eyes stopped him.
“I said, don’t touch me!” Her voice echoed through the room, the air around her crackling with energy.
Vision hesitated for a moment but, in a move that seemed almost rehearsed, leaned in as if to kiss her. It was a gentle, almost hesitant motion, but he didn’t anticipate what happened next.
Before his lips could even come close, Wanda shoved him with force, using far more energy than necessary. Vision stumbled back, his eyes wide with shock as he steadied himself.
“You think a kiss is going to fix this?” Her voice was sharp, laced with contempt and fury. “You’re not what I want, Vision. You never were.”
He stood in silence, absorbing her words. But what hurt most wasn’t the content—it was the raw hatred in her eyes.
“You’re angry,” Vision finally said, his voice still controlled. “But rejecting help won’t solve anything.”
“I don’t need your help,” Wanda spat back, her tone icy. “I don’t want your touch. So do me a favor and leave.”
Vision hesitated, but the look in her eyes—a mix of rage and something far darker—compelled him to comply. He stepped back, nodded slowly, and left the room without another word, leaving Wanda alone with her fury, her anguish, and the obsessive whispers that filled her mind.
As soon as he was gone, she collapsed onto the bed, burying her face in her hands. The control she prided herself on was slipping through her fingers. But the only thing that mattered was you.
And if there was one thing Wanda Maximoff knew, it was that she would do anything to keep you by her side.
[...]
The library was as quiet as ever, the occasional sound of pages turning and muffled footsteps creating an almost meditative atmosphere. You were sitting at one of the tables near the classic literature section, your nervous fingers holding a book that, ironically, you weren’t managing to read. Your gaze stubbornly drifted to the woman on the other side of the room.
Wanda.
She looked completely at ease, browsing the shelves as if she owned the place. Her fingers glided over the spines of the books, and you couldn’t help but watch the grace in her every movement. It was intimidating how she seemed so natural, so in control, while you were caught in a whirlwind of emotions you could barely comprehend.
She noticed. Of course, she did.
When her green eyes met yours, you quickly looked away, pretending to be engrossed in the words you couldn’t even see. Your heart was racing, and a troublesome warmth crept up your face.
It didn’t take long before you heard her footsteps approaching. Your body tensed, every fiber of your being aware of her presence before Wanda pulled out the chair beside you and sat with that calmness that made her even more overwhelming.
"What are you reading? " Her voice was low, almost a whisper, but carried a playful tone that made you swallow hard.
"Oh…" you began, but the word died in your throat when you realized you had no idea what was in the book before you. "Just… something interesting."
Wanda arched an eyebrow, leaning slightly closer to you. Her scent, a mix of jasmine and something uniquely Wanda, invaded your senses.
— Something interesting, huh? — she repeated, her voice caressing each word like an invitation. — You seem distracted, little one.
You tightened your grip on the book, trying to maintain composure, but it was useless.
"I… I’m not distracted " you lied, your voice weaker than you intended.
Wanda chuckled, a low, delightful sound that made your stomach tighten.
"Then why are your cheeks so red?"
Your breath hitched, and you finally looked at her. That was a mistake. Wanda’s gaze was intense, full of something that made you feel small and exposed.
"They’re not" you tried to deny, but the frailty in your voice betrayed you.
She tilted her head, her eyes studying your face with an attention that made you shiver.
"You’re a terrible liar, you know that? "she said, with a smile that was both a tease and a promise.
You didn’t respond. You couldn’t. Your hands trembled slightly as you tried to focus on the book, but Wanda wouldn’t let you off the hook so easily.
She reached out, her fingers brushing against yours as she slid the book away from you.
"Look at me." she ordered, her voice now firmer but still laced with a sweetness that was almost cruel.
You hesitated, but her magnetism was inescapable. Your eyes met hers, and for a moment, the world seemed to stop.
"Why are you so nervous?" Wanda asked, her hand now resting over yours.
You tried to answer, but your throat was dry. All you could do was shake your head.
"Oh, little one… " she whispered, leaning even closer, so close her lips were mere inches from yours. "You don’t have to be afraid of me."
But it wasn’t fear. It was something far more intense, more overwhelming.
And as if she knew exactly what you were feeling, Wanda smiled, a smile that completely disarmed you.
"Tell me what you want, darling," she murmured, her eyes locked onto yours.
You bit your lip, trying to hold back the tears threatening to spill—not from sadness, but from pure desire, from longing.
"I… I don’t know " you finally whispered, feeling a weakness take over you.
Wanda chuckled again, but this time there was something darker in the sound.
"Don’t worry, little one. I know exactly what you need."
Wanda leaned in slowly, with the composure of someone who knew the impact of every movement. Her dark eyes were fixed on you, studying every nuance of your face, savoring the moment before the inevitable.
She lifted a hand, her fingers sliding along your face, tracing the curve of your jaw down to your chin. Her touch was both delicate and firm, sending shivers through your skin.
"Do you trust me?" she asked, her voice a husky whisper, full of promises that made the air between you feel heavy.
You swallowed hard, your heart beating so fast it felt like it might explode. Unable to form words, you simply nodded, letting her see in your expression just how much you were hers.
Wanda’s smile widened, but there was an intensity in her eyes that almost took your breath away. She tilted her head, and you felt the heat of her breath brushing your lips.
"Good girl," she murmured, her words like an electric shock coursing through your body.
And then, she kissed you.
It was fire. The touch of Wanda’s lips on yours was burning, hungry, as if she were trying to convey everything she felt in a single gesture. There was no hesitation, only pure, raw desire.
Her fingers slid to the base of your neck, pulling you closer as the kiss deepened—more intense, more demanding. You clung to her shoulders, incapable of doing anything but matching her fervor, lost in the passion Wanda so effortlessly awakened in you.
When she finally pulled away, just enough to let you breathe, Wanda’s eyes were shining in a way you’d never seen before.
"That’s what you needed, isn’t it?" she asked, a smug smile playing on her lips as her thumb gently traced your lower lip. "To be taken firmly by mommy."
You didn’t respond, because the truth was clear. Wanda knew exactly what you needed, and in that moment, you wanted nothing more than for her to take you again.
Unexpectedly, the woman turns her body abruptly, leaving you on your back—and making you stick your ass out for her.
"You know, it's funny how you always wear that kind of skirt when you're here. Is this a sign for me to fuck you all over right here?" Wanda pulls your hair, making you squeak.
She pushes your head against the shelves, making you grimace in pain. She caresses the length of your skirt, reaching your precious spot.
" You're going to be quiet for me. If you moan, I'll stop." Her fingers finger your pussy covered by your panties.
"Mommy…" you whispered in a moan.
"Come on, little girl. Tell me what you're hiding so much…" she tried to manipulate you at all costs to find out what secrets you were hiding.
She fingered you—slowly. — it was almost cruel, painful. She squeezes the flesh of your ass, making you sink your teeth into her hand to stifle a scream.
The more Wanda's fingers moved in circles, the more your body gave in, involuntarily bucking toward her. Your surrender was total, almost like a primal instinct that dominated you completely, and Wanda seemed to absorb every second of it with almost cruel pleasure.
"Who owns you? Who do you belong to?" Her voice was a deep whisper, hot as an ember that set your self-control ablaze.
"It's y-you, mommy… it's you!" you managed to stammer, your voice trembling and full of submission.
A dangerous glint crossed Wanda's eyes, and the smile that appeared on her lips was at once one of approval and absolute dominance. Her fingers pulled your hair more firmly, tilting your head back, and you felt her breath brush against your sensitive skin.
"Exactly, little girl. Exactly…" she murmured, her voice so low that it seemed to slip straight into the deepest recesses of your mind. "A pet shouldn’t hide anything from its owner, should it?"
She slid her tongue along the arch of your ear, each movement slow and calculated, followed by delicate bites that made your body tremble.
You shook your head quickly, the lump in your throat growing as she took control of every part of you.
“Then tell me… tell me!” Her order came like a whip, her voice low and sharp, breaking down any resistance you might have had.
Here, in that sacred space, where knowledge and calm were the norm, this was an act of pure desecration. A conscious and deliberate sin, and yet the sense of danger made it all the more intoxicating.
Your heart was beating wildly, the sound echoing in your ears as tears welled up, blurring your vision. You weren't sure if it was because of the adrenaline running through your veins or the desperate need to release all the feelings you had been repressing.
“I-I don’t… I can’t!” You screamed, too loud, the confession filled with dread and desire.
And then, Wanda stopped.
The emptiness left by her touch was as painful as it was unexpected, but nothing was worse than the disapproving look she gave you. Her dark green eyes pierced you like a blade, and the frustrated moan that escaped your throat along with a tear.
“Bad girls don’t cum, Y/n.” Did she say it, staring at you with some kind of disappointment?
Her words echoed in your mind, as vivid as the sound of her voice on any given day. “Bad girls don’t cum.” It was such a simple phrase, but it was filled with something that ate away at you. The clear limit, the line you couldn’t cross.
And yet, you wanted more.
You wanted to hold her, kiss her, tell her how every moment with her made you feel alive and at the same time destroyed. You wanted to tell her that you loved the way she frowned when she was focused, or the way her voice changed when she became softer, more tender.
But how could you?
How could you look her in the eyes and tell her that you loved her when you knew she couldn’t, shouldn’t, love you back?
Wanda was an entire universe, but she wasn’t yours. She would never be.
You pressed your hands against your chest, as if you could hold the broken pieces of your heart together. But even as you did, the tears fell, hot and relentless.
You cried for her. For yourself.
For everything that could be, but would never be.
And as the pain grew, a part of you knew that you would continue to love Wanda in silence, because silence was all you had.
And loving in silence, though crushing, was still better than not loving her at all.
[...]
Hours later, after dinner and with Vision out of town for yet another meeting—you muster up enough courage to walk, albeit slowly, toward Wanda's room.
Sighing and gathering just a bit more bravery, you stepped inside. No knocking, no asking for permission. Perhaps this would land you in trouble with the disciplinarian Wanda, but all you found was a woman who looked worn and exhausted.
The soft glow of the lamp in Wanda’s room barely illuminated her figure, seated at the edge of the bed. Her shoulders were slumped, her hands folded in her lap. She didn’t look like the strong, dominant woman you knew. Not in that moment.
Your heart clenched at the sight of her like this. It felt wrong, out of place from everything you associated with Wanda. Her eyes were fixed on something invisible in front of her, lost in thoughts you knew were about you.
And then you realized, this distance you’d imposed wasn’t just hurting you—it was hurting Wanda too. She seemed so lifeless, as if something had drained her completely.
She heard your footsteps but didn’t lift her head immediately.
“You should be resting,” she murmured, her voice hoarse and low, lacking the usual authority that bent your will to hers.
“And you?” Your voice came out hesitant but filled with genuine concern.
She finally raised her eyes, and what you saw nearly made you step back. There was pain there, raw and exposed, a pain she rarely allowed anyone to see.
“I can’t,” she admitted. “Not when I feel like I’m losing you.”
Her words hung in the room like a heavy weight, each syllable laced with a vulnerability you hadn’t expected.
You took a step forward, then another, until you were close enough to feel her warmth, to hear the faint, uneven sound of her breathing.
“Wanda…” you began, but you didn’t know what to say. There were no words to mend the crack that was forming between the two of you.
She closed her eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath as if trying to steady herself, but when she opened them again, there was a sheen of tears she refused to let fall.
“I care more than I should,” she confessed, her voice thick with emotion. “And that’s why it hurts so much to feel you pulling away. It’s like… like you’re ripping a part of me out.”
Your chest ached at her words. You knew she was hurting, but seeing the depth of her suffering was like taking a blow straight to the heart.
“I don’t want to hurt you,” you said, your voice barely steady.
“But you are,” she replied, firm but without anger. Just sadness. “Every step you take away from me… it’s like a knife I put in my own chest.”
You hesitated but finally lifted a hand to touch her face, your fingers trembling slightly as they met the warmth of her skin. Wanda closed her eyes at your touch, leaning into it involuntarily, as though seeking solace.
“I care too,” you admitted, your voice breaking. “More than I should. And that’s why this is so hard. I… I don’t know how to balance this.”
Wanda opened her eyes, and the intensity in her gaze made you shiver.
“Then don’t balance it,” she whispered, her fingers now holding your hand against her cheek. “Choose. Choose us. Choose to stay.”
The tears you’d been holding back began to fall silently down your cheeks. Part of you wanted to do just that. To throw everything aside and simply lose yourself in her arms. But another part, the part with dreams and ambitions, knew it wasn’t that simple.
“I want to,” you admitted. “But I’m scared. Scared of losing myself, scared of losing everything I’ve dreamed for myself.”
Wanda bit her lip, her eyes burning with emotion.
“And I’m scared of losing you,” she replied, her voice faltering for the first time.
The room fell into silence, only the sound of heavy breathing filling the space.
You took a deep breath, trying to summon the courage that always seemed to elude you when you were near Wanda. The silence in the room was palpable, and her nearness made everything feel even more intense. Your fingers were still intertwined, the warmth of her skin anchoring you but also leaving you completely exposed.
“Wanda,” you began, your voice trembling slightly.
She turned her face toward you, her eyes locking with yours, filled with something you couldn’t quite decipher. Concern? Curiosity? Hope?
“I…” Your throat felt tight, but you knew you had to say it. There was no running anymore, not when the weight of this truth was consuming you from the inside out.
“I am completely and utterly in love with you, Wanda Maximoff.”
The words left you like a sigh, heavy with months—perhaps years—of repressed emotion. The moment they left your lips, the world seemed to freeze.
Wanda’s face remained still for a moment, her eyes wide as if she was trying to process what she’d just heard. Her fingers reflexively tightened around yours, but then she pulled away, as though the warmth of your touch was too much to bear.
“Y/n…” she began, her voice hoarse, low, but brimming with emotion.
You watched her chest rise and fall as she took a deep breath, as if trying to steady the storm inside her. She stood up, putting a bit of space between you, her arms crossing in a defensive posture, but her gaze never wavered from you.
“Do you… have any idea what you just said?” Her voice was hesitant, almost a whisper, but there was something in it that begged for confirmation.
You swallowed hard and nodded, refusing to look away.
“I know what I’m saying. I tried to fight it, Wanda, but I can’t anymore. I love you.”
Wanda shook her head slowly, her lips slightly parted as though she were about to speak but couldn’t find the words. Finally, she let out a laugh—a low, disbelieving sound, devoid of any joy.
“My God…” She ran her hands over her face, as though trying to erase the confession, but you caught the glimmer in her eyes. They weren’t tears of sadness.
“You know this is…” Wanda began, but the sentence died on her lips, the weight of the words too heavy to bear. Her shoulders sagged slightly, as though all the strength she usually carried had drained away. When she lifted her gaze to meet yours again, there was something crushing in her expression: a mixture of restrained desire, guilt, and a pain that mirrored your own.
“I know…” you responded in a near whisper, your voice thick with emotion. Tears began to streak down your face, each one carrying the weight of everything you’d never had the courage to say before. And even now, you hated yourself for being unable to control what you felt.
Wanda exhaled, the sound light yet devastating. She hesitated for a moment, but when she spoke, her voice was soft, as if every word was a confession she had never intended to make.
“I can’t give you what you want, Dekta,” she whispered, her tone filled with something closer to regret than denial. “But maybe… maybe I can give you what you need… because I always know what you need.”
The use of the nickname cut through you like a sharp blade. It was a reminder of the intimacy you shared, the trust and affection you cherished so deeply, but now it only made the moment more painful.
Her eyes stayed locked on yours, intense and inescapable, as though she was trying to communicate something words could never convey. The space between you seemed to shrink without either of you moving, until your faces were close enough that you could feel the warmth of her breath mingling with your own.
The atmosphere in the room grew thick, suffocating, as if the air around you was charged with electricity. Wanda’s heartbeat was so loud you could almost hear it, and your own chest felt like it was about to explode.
“Wanda…” you murmured, but the word came out broken, uncertain, as if you weren’t sure whether it was a warning or a plea.
“I shouldn’t,” she said, almost to herself, but she didn’t pull away. Her breathing was unsteady, her gaze flickering between your eyes and your lips. “But you make me lose control, Dekta.”
You didn’t know who made the final move—if it was you, if it was her, or if it was some cruel twist of fate conspiring against you both. But suddenly, the space between you disappeared, and Wanda’s lips brushed yours in a feather-light, hesitant touch, laden with doubt and desire.
It lasted only a second before she abruptly pulled away, as if she’d been burned.
“This… can’t happen,” she said, breathless, more to herself than to you. “You need to understand that.”
“And why can’t it?” you asked, your voice trembling but filled with growing frustration. “Wanda, I can’t hide what I feel anymore. And you know you feel something too. Don’t try to deny it.”
She ran her hands over her face, clearly struggling against the tidal wave of emotions threatening to overwhelm her.
“I can’t deny it,” she finally admitted, her voice low and barely audible. “But admitting it doesn’t change anything. I have a life, a family. And you… you have a bright future ahead of you, Dekta. A future that shouldn’t be jeopardized by something as… complicated as this.”
“This?” you echoed, the hurt evident in your voice. “Is that what you call us?”
Wanda closed her eyes, as if shielding herself from the intensity of the moment.
“I don’t know what to call this,” she replied, finally opening her eyes, now glistening with unshed tears. “But I know I can’t be selfish enough to ruin you.”
For the first time, you saw Wanda completely vulnerable—the strong, unshakable woman you had always known seemed on the verge of crumbling.
Suddenly, you felt like you were losing Wanda, and the thought terrified you. It made your body tremble with fear, your mind shutting down all rational thought.
“Do you like it that much?” you broke the silence, turning to face Wanda with eyes shining with curiosity.
“Like what?” Wanda asked, her voice coming out softer than usual.
“Being my mommy,” you asked, your gaze intense enough to make Wanda shudder.
She tried to maintain her composure, but she couldn’t hide the flush rising up her neck.
“That’s… it’s… I… It’s complicated,” she began, but you just laughed—the Wanda Maximoff stammering in front of you, while your fingers slid lightly down her arm. “It’s not something I ever expected to enjoy.”
You leaned in closer. There was something different now. Your eyes carried a newfound intensity, and you acted as though you were the one in control. Your warm breath neared her, sending shivers down her spine.
“But you do like it, don’t you?” you whispered against her lips. Your tone sounded innocent, but Wanda knew how much of a teasing little brat you could be.
You moved even closer, your hands gently touching her flushed cheeks. “Your face is so warm.” Your fingers slid to her nape, and Wanda’s body visibly reacted to your touch. “Are you running a fever, Mommy?” Your voice carried a soft, needy whine, and Wanda felt herself clench involuntarily.
Wanda closed her eyes, her body acutely aware of the heat radiating from yours so close to her own. And in that moment, she realized that maybe, just maybe, she wasn’t as in control as she liked to believe.
Your eyes burned with a different kind of fire, reflecting the fevered warmth of Wanda’s skin.
“Aah…” Wanda let out a shaky whisper. She was affected—by you, your enigmatic eyes, and your captivating personality. And yet, you somehow gave her the sensation of control she so deeply cherished.“I like it more than I should…” she confessed.
Your proximity excited her, made her speak and act in ways she never imagined she would. You made her sin.
The shift in the room was undeniable. The weight of anguish had been replaced by a dark and dangerously palpable sexual tension.
“You like to play with mommy, don’t you?” Wanda asked, raising her voice.
Wanda slid her hands to your waist, her touch firm but full of affection that seemed to contrast with the fire in her eyes.
“You test me on purpose, and that’s okay, that’s fun.” She whispered, her voice deep and full of control. “But you must remember who’s in charge, Dorogaya.”
Before you could respond, Wanda kissed you fiercely with an urgent plea she’d never felt before. Your innocent teasing drove her crazy. Crazy to make you submit, to discipline you.
Wanda ran her nose along the length of your neck and inhaled the scent there—making you gasp.
“Hmm… are you so receptive, eager to please me?” Like a feline, she purred in your ear.
Wanda lowered one of her hands to touch your sex, and soon noticed the absence of panties.
“My naughty girl… You look so beautiful like this, all ready for me.” She mistreats your hardened nipples with her fingers. “Is it because you want this as much as I do, kitten?”
You let out a shaky, anxious sigh. “Wands…” Wrong!
The woman slaps you hard on your left cheek, making you dizzy.
“That’s not my name!” She growls, squeezing your neck and rubbing her pussy against your thigh.
“Sorry, Mommy…” You say, hearing Wanda moan in approval.
“Good girl.” She strokes your strands superficially. “You learn quickly, don’t you, Y/n?” Wanda’s hand runs over your reddened cheek, almost tenderly.
“Please!” You moan, rocking your hips toward the woman. It doesn’t matter how much you tried to be a brat. Behind four walls, you were nothing more than a dumb little whore for Wanda to use as she pleases.
“Oh. So my little one wants to play rough, huh?” You nod desperately. “Beg for Mommy’s touch! Beg and maybe I’ll give you what you want…”
Wanda’s voice comes out muffled, the woman slides her tongue between the valley of your breasts.
“Please, Mommy!” You hear the woman laugh sadistically, as she watches your weak figure swaying her hips.
“Hmm, sweet words…” Wanda’s voice drips with lust and you, entangled in the atmosphere, steal her lips. The contact is violent.
You bite the woman’s lower lip who groans at the sharp pain.
“Mine…” she murmurs in a deep voice of excitement. “You’re mine. and no matter how much time passes, that will never change…” Wanda’s palms grab her soft breasts, massaging them.
She pinches her nipples precisely, eliciting a soft moan from her lips. I leaned in even closer, my hot breath caressing your ear, and let out a command laden with intent: “And don’t you dare come until I tell you to, or I’ll make you regret begging for my touch.”
Wanda smiled with sadistic glee as she watched you writhe beneath her touch. Your body, so sweet and treacherous, gave away every hidden desire even as you tried to resist, your attempts so weak they were almost adorable.
A wicked smile curved her lips as Wanda leaned in, letting her own cool breath caress your ear.
“See, pet?” She whispered, purring in satisfaction. “Your little clit is so sensitive, so eager for attention… And who else could give it that but me?”
Wanda’s fingers danced over that little throbbing spot, her touch light as a feather. The woman watched the pleasure rip through her body like an electric shock, making you shudder in my hands.
"And it’s all mine to play with now…” Wanda murmured, her voice low and thick with possession. Each word was a soft growl, a threat wrapped in sensual promise.
The older woman began to circle your clit with cruel precision, unlike earlier—she applied just enough pressure to keep you teetering on the edge of oblivion—going and going and going to your edge. Your labored breathing, your soft moans, were music to her ears.
With her middle finger Wanda entered your pussy, stretching it just to use it. “Now, let’s see how long you can hold out before you break and beg for release…”
Her fingers never stopped their torturous dance, the rhythm relentless and deliciously teasing. Wanda pushed you closer and closer to the edge of ecstasy, but she always held on, keeping the tension at the perfect point, where pleasure and frustration mixed into something almost unbearable. You were her masterpiece, and Wanda was determined to savor every second of your surrender.
“Aahn… Please! This is torture!” You whimpered, causing her to let out a wicked laugh.
Wanda’s eyes gleamed with dark, wicked pleasure as she heard your desperate moan. Her fingers continued to tease your clit with repetitive, maddening movements. “The smell of her arousal is intoxicating,” she thought, inhaling deeply. The room was silent except for your panting breaths and the soft, wet sounds of her fingers on your clit.
The woman leaned in, her breath hot against your ear, and whispered,
“Oh, but where’s the fun in that, darling?”
The woman’s words were a sensual challenge, a promise of pleasure and torment as she continued to circle your sensitive core, always just out of reach. Your skin was so soft, so warm beneath my touch, Wanda always marveled, savoring the contrast with her own cold flesh.
“You want me inside you so badly, don’t you? Want me to claim that tight little pussy as my own?”
Wanda’s voice was a dark, seductive whisper, her tone dripping with forbidden desire as she finally plunged two fingers into your quivering, tight opening.
“But first…”
The woman’s fingers began to pump in and out of the slick channel, her touch rough and commanding as she stretched and filled you. You’re so responsive, so eager to please, she thought—a wave of predatory satisfaction coursing through her body.
“You have to earn it, baby… show Mommy how good you can be…” The words sounded like an order, a sensual threat that left no room for refusal as she continued to thrust her fingers into you, each thrust deeper and harder than the last.
Part of Wanda wanted to devour you completely, feeling a tug of internal conflict. But prolonging your pleasure… and hers… is so much more satisfying.
Wanda could feel your inner walls contracting around her long fingers, your body shaking with need. The sound of your moans and whimpers filled the air, a symphony of desire that only fueled Wanda’s own dark hunger.
“That’s right, my sweet kitten…” she growled, her voice low and husky with lust. “Let me hear how much you want this… Let me hear how much you love me.”
As she continued to drive you wild, Wanda could not help but revel in the power she had over you. The overwhelming satisfaction coursing through your mature body was almost as intoxicating as the thought of tasting your blood.
You raved, sticking your tongue out, and driving Wanda wild as well—her own hand burning just to slap that little face of yours.
“Fuck me, Mommy!” she growled at me, as she rubbed her intimacy against my fingers. “I… I can be good! I will be good! I love you sooo much…!” You screamed the last part, not even remembering that the twins slept in the room down the hall.
Wanda’s body shook in triumph—as if she had regained her power by hearing you say that, by seeing you beg. When she heard your plea, your words were sweet, seductive music to her. With a low, guttural growl, the woman pulled her fingers from her dripping cunt, a trail of slick arousal coating Wanda’s skin as she brought her hand to her mouth.
“Mmm, such a good girl…” The woman’s voice was a dark, approving purr as she licked her essence from her fingers, the taste of her desire fueling Wanda’s own lust.
Determined, Wanda stands up, walking to her own closet and looking for a specific drawer. A hidden drawer locked with a key—her eyes widening at the amount of toys stored there.
“Now, let’s see if you can handle Mommy…” Without waiting for an answer, Wanda positioned herself between your thighs, the cold, hard length pressing against your soaked entrance.
“Hold on tight, baby…” Wanda warns sensually as she slowly thrusts into your suffocating heat, inch by inch claiming your tight, throbbing channel as her own.
“Mommy’s going to ride you hard, baby… and you’re going to accept every inch like the good little slut you are…” Entering the strap-on slowly, noticing you shudder—not being used to the size, Wanda stops her movements and only returns when she sees you nod positively.
The grip around your waist tightens as she feels your body tremble and convulse beneath her; The screams of pain and pleasure were music to your ears. The thrusts grew stronger, each one deeper and more intense than the last, as Wanda claimed your body with a primal, animalistic urgency she had never experienced before.
“That’s it, baby… take Mommy’s cock…” The woman’s voice came out as a guttural growl, her breathing ragged as it thrust in and out of your stretched, slick channel, the sound of flesh slapping against the strap echoing through the room.
“You’re mine now… all mine…” Her hands dug into your hips as she moved with reckless abandon, driven by a hunger that could never be sated.
“So fucking tight… so fucking perfect…” The praise was dark and savage, each word punctuated by the relentless thrusts of Wanda’s hips as she thrust into you, lost in the exquisite sensation of claiming your little girl’s body once and for all.
“Mo-mommy! It’s too much!” I can’t take it!” She roared, and she gripped the flesh of your ass hard in response.
Her hand came down with a resounding slap, the sound echoing around the room as her palm connected with the firm flesh of your ass. Her fingers dug in, kneading the reddened skin as she leaned in close, her lips brushing the shell of your ear.
“Oh, but you can, baby… you can take it…” The promise was seductive, a dark and wicked encouragement as she continued to pound into you with brutal, unrelenting force. “Mommy’s almost…” The woman’s hips snapped forward, pushing the entire length even deeper into your quivering channel, the feel of your body clenching around her like a vice driving Wanda wild with lust.
“You’re going to come for me, aren’t you, baby? I’m going to soak Mommy’s cock with your sweet juices…” Wanda’s breath was hot against your skin, a husky, commanding purr as she whispered her own filthy desires, each word a sensual threat that left no room for refusal. “Now, don’t make Mommy wait any longer… Cum for me, baby… NOW!”
Watching the female body in front of her tremble in a powerful orgasm, She noticed your lost gaze, like a trance. Wanda pulls out of you and as she approaches, she sees you lying there, vulnerable and surrendered—your eyes unfocused as if you were floating in another dimension. Your chest rises and falls in an irregular rhythm, your hands rest at your sides, your fingers slightly curled. It’s a state that Wanda knew only superficially, but with you, it seemed even more intense.
“Is everything okay, bunny?” Wanda asked softly, sliding her fingers along the contour of your face, tracing your jaw until they reach your neck.
You don’t answer right away. Your eyes slowly fix on Wanda, as if she was returning from a distant place.
“It's… a lot.” Her voice came out softly, almost inaudible, and you tried to force a smile, but your expression revealed the depth of the moment you were going through.
The woman leaned in, maintaining eye contact with you, and let her hand glide through your sweat-drenched hair. It was an almost mechanical gesture, yet it seemed rooted in something bigger.
“Hey, take a deep breath for me.” Wanda's voice sounded firm, yet she didn’t lose the softness she knew you needed right now.
You closed your eyes and obeyed, struggling to draw in air before slowly releasing it. You repeated the process a few times as Wanda stroked your hair, murmuring comforting words.
“Good girl.” The woman said, seeing the slightest hint of a smile at the corners of your lips.
As Wanda watched you begin to recover, she felt something deep and primal stir within her. The way you trusted her, how you surrendered completely, was proof of something she could barely name, yet it made her feel invincible and vulnerable at the same time.
She continued to stroke your hair with a tenderness that contrasted with the intensity of what had just happened. Her eyes traced every detail of your face — the skin glistening with sweat, your lips slightly parted, the calm, almost ethereal expression that now replaced the previous turmoil.
“Are you okay, Dekta?” she repeated, though the answer was already there, evident in your calmer breathing and the way your body began to relax under her touch.
"Yeah… I think so," you replied weakly, still not opening your eyes.
Wanda tilted her head, a small smile dancing on her lips as her hand continued the slow, soothing motion in your hair. She could feel the contrast between the warmth of your body and the gentle breeze coming through the window. Everything seemed perfectly in sync, as if the universe had paused for this moment between you two.
When you finally opened your eyes, you met her gaze, a mix of care, possession, and something you couldn’t quite identify. There was something deeper, something that made your heart leap in your chest.
"You need to rest now," Wanda said in a tone that was both an order and a comfort. She brushed back the strands of hair that had stuck to your forehead, her touch as delicate as a feather.
You tried to sit up, still trembling, but Wanda placed a hand on your shoulder, preventing you from moving away.
"Where do you think you're going?" Her voice was firm, but there was no harshness—only determination.
"I… to my room," you said hesitantly, your gaze still uncertain, trying to understand what she wanted.
Wanda leaned in closer, her eyes locking onto yours like an unbreakable spell.
"I want you to lie here and sleep in my arms," she declared, her voice low and heavy with intensity. It wasn’t a request; it was a decision.
Your heart raced again, and for a moment you were at a loss for words. It felt wrong; all of this was wrong, but there was something in her tone, something in the way she looked at you, that made any resistance melt away.
You simply nodded, unable to argue, and let Wanda guide you back down onto the bed. She settled you in with almost reverent care, positioning herself beside you and pulling your body against hers.
As you felt her warmth surrounding you, the familiar scent enveloping her, it was as if all doubts and fears dissolved for a brief moment. Wanda's arms tightened around you, firm yet comfortable, and her hand returned to your hair, continuing the slow, reassuring gesture.
“Sleep, bunny,” she murmured, and for the first time in a long while, you felt like you could finally rest.
Holding you in her arms, as if you were her most precious stone—Wanda let her hands glide along the contours of your face, watching your breath settle into the calm of sleep. Her hands trembled for a moment before they closed into fists, the knuckles turning white. She stared at her reflection in the mirror next to the bed—the deep, shadowed eyes revealing an internal battle that seemed endless.
You loved her. You. Loved her.
The thought reverberated in her mind like a dissonant melody—wrong and delightful at the same time. There was no denying it: she felt alive like she hadn't in a long time. There was something dark in knowing that, even with all the lines that should never be crossed, you had fallen for her, given in to the magnetic force that existed between you.
And Wanda liked it. Liked it a lot.
Guilt pulsed through her veins, like a poison that burned slowly. She knew how wrong it was to feel this way, knew she should push you away, protect you from herself and the implications of what you had confessed. But at the same time, the feeling of being loved so intensely, so absolutely, awakened something in her she didn’t know still existed.
Vision had never looked at her that way. He had never pronounced her name as if it were sacred. He had never shown signs of wanting everything from her. But you? You looked at her as if Wanda were the sun and the only thing in the sky worth admiring.
And it was intoxicating.
She took a deep breath, closing her eyes for a moment, trying to sort through the chaos in her mind. A dark satisfaction crawled through her chest, like a shadow that refused to fade away. She hadn’t done anything on purpose to earn her feelings—or at least, that’s what she told herself. But deep down, she knew there was something terribly selfish about all of it.
She liked being your weakness. Your downfall. Your redemption.
A brief, almost imperceptible smile curved her lips. It wasn’t a smile of pure happiness, but something more complex, more twisted. As if the weight of the wrong choices she hadn’t yet made was already starting to materialize, but the pleasure of being desired outweighed every ounce of remorse.
She opened her eyes, staring at her reflection again. “You’re playing a dangerous game, Wanda Maximoff,” she murmured to herself, her voice low, almost inaudible. “And you’re enjoying it more than you should.”
She couldn’t have you. She knew that. But that didn’t mean she didn’t want to be desired. It didn’t mean that, in her darkest moments, she didn’t revel in the idea of having marked you in a way that no one else would ever be able to erase.
“I’m a monster,” she whispered to the mirror, the smile fading. And maybe it was true. But for now, what mattered was that you loved her. Against all odds. Against everything that was right.
And that was enough to feed the fire burning inside her—even if it meant she’d end up consuming herself in the process.

@jegulus-microfic april 1 - spring - 1340 words (of domestic bliss with little harry)
Sundays are slow in the Potter household.
One would think James doesn’t like the pace of it, always having to do something usually, always active, moving around or talking, tugging at his loved ones or caressing their skin, but he does. It hasn’t always been this way but with getting older and especially since they’ve become parents James had noticed how his body and mind welcomed the one break in the week to just shut off and recharge.
They’ve fought their way through a cloudy March and with the arrival of April, spring is finally here.
James loves spring. People always assume it’s summer—and credit to them, because he does—but there’s just something about the rebirth of everything that comes after the long gloomy fall and icey winter period. The birds chirp with their return and in search for a mate, insects buzz lively and everything brightens with colour.
Like clockwork, Harry appears in the threshold of the master bedroom at around 7 am, deer plushie in a tight grip by the antlers, his dark mob of hair messy as anything. He drowsily rubs the sleep from his eyes, face squished and James sometimes thinks he might die from how adorable their four year old is.
He grabs his glasses, pushes back the sheets and plants a gentle kiss on Regulus’ cheek where he’s still knocked out like the dead and smushed into his pillow.
Harry pads wordlessly into the living room, James hot on his trail. Though while Harry goes in search of a children’s book for James to read to him, James makes a detour to the kitchen. He fills them two bottles with the tea they let out on the counter overnight, preparing one for Regulus as well for when he wakes up. He cuts up some fruit and vegetables and grabs the packets of rice cakes and crackers from the pantry, loading it all on a tray before he sets on to the living room.
Harry is already curled under the big fleece blanket they keep there, grinning when James rounds the corner with their pre-breakfast.
“Morning, dada,” he greets, sweetly.
James’ chest swells. “Morning, pumpkin,” he returns, pressing a kiss into Harry’s hair, setting down the tray. Before he takes his place next to his son he walks over to open the big terrasse glass doors.
“How’d you sleep?” James asks, plopping down next to Harry who immediately snuggles closer, plushie still in hand.
“Good,” Harry sighs contently and James can’t help himself when he brushes some of his hair back from his forehead and kisses him again. “Can you read to me?”
It’s a hidden object book but James knows what he means. He grins, “’Course, Hazza.”
They do just that for a bit, James describing what’s going on on the pages, creating a story for recurring characters. Skipping back and forth with Harry randomly pointing out another happening of the drawing while he’s munching away on his rice cakes and cucumbers and the occasional grape.
It’s still mildly cool, especially when a faint breeze picks up, moving the grass outside and swishing inside but Harry’s still wearing long pyjamas and James knows he’ll tell him if he’s too cold. He simply burrows further under the blanket and into his father’s side. James runs hot anyways.
When Harry decides they’re done with books James puts on a nature documentary for them.
They’re teaching about the strength of some rainforest ant species when Regulus shuffles into the room, arms wrapped around himself and eyes nearly closed.
“Morning, Papa,” Harry whispers excitedly, already wiggling out of James’ embrace even though he knows Regulus will join them there in just a moment.
A smile tugs at Regulus’ lips as he blinks his eyes open, dark lashes fluttering agonisingly beautifully and giving way to soft grey. James swears they get a little more blue every time right around his birthday, like Regulus is just another subject to the changes of spring.
“Mornin’,” Regulus sighs happily when he squeezes Harry against his chest, peppering the side of his head with kisses until he pulls away, tugging Regulus along to James.
His eyes are already closed again when Regulus nuzzles into the crook of James’ neck, pressing a kiss there before he gets comfortable.
“Morning, love,” James murmurs, voice thick with adoration, audible even to himself, and he strokes Regulus’ exposed arm softly.
The spell of Sunday is thick in the air, heavy in their bones.
Harry, usually the most lively child, always animatedly talking about something or the other, giggling, making jokes or doing mischief, is quiet now too. It’s routine, the way he grabs for Regulus’ arm and squeezes between his two dads, waiting for James to absently card his fingers through their hair and send them back to their slumbers.
It doesn’t take longer than five minutes before Harry’s breaths are deepening and it’s marvellous. Magical in the way that Regulus’ presence seems to calm him so much it pulls him back into another nap.
James smiles so wide, looking down at them like that for so long that his cheeks start straining.
He watches a bit more of the documentary, snaps a few obligatory pictures of them on his phone and sends them into their family group chat. Monty sends back a pixelated picture of a zoomed in shot of Effie in the garden, Sirius replies with a shaky snapshot of him running with the dogs and Remus answers with an aesthetically pleasing picture of what seems to be the breakfast he’s preparing for the two of them.
James’ belly growls hungrily at the reminder and when his gaze falls on the lone grape sitting in the bowl on the tray he decides it’s time for breakfast.
It’s nothing short of artful the way he extracts himself from besides Harry and Regulus without rousing them before he heads for the kitchen.
He grabs flour and sugar, eggs and milk for pancakes, as well as the bacon, bagles and cream cheese. It’s meditative to put together all the ingredients, set the table and assemble syrup and blueberries and chocolate chips. Halfway through James remembers the leftover quinoa in the fridge and between placing patches of batter in a sizzling pan he whips them up a quick salad as well.
The smell in the kitchen is divine and James has already made acquaintances with the joyful bluetit in the tree by the window by the time Regulus comes into the kitchen with Harry on his hip. He’s babbling now, talking Regulus’ ear off by the looks of it and Regulus hums and nods and gasps at all the right places, looking ridiculously endearing with his curls mussed and an imprint of the couch cushion lining his cheek.
“Morning, champ,” James teases, smacking a loud kiss over the line in Regulus’ cheek.
Regulus growls quietly, grinning despite himself, “You’re lucky I love your cooking so much.”
“Yeah, you’re lucky,” Harry parrots, grinning widely.
James tuts with faux affront, “What kind of sentiments are you teaching our poor child, Regulus. I’ve been standing in this kitchen for hours now. How about a ‘Thank you, daddy’?”
“Thank you, daddy,” they both reply in unison though Regulus’ has a decidedly different tone to it that makes James point the spatula at him in warning.
Regulus just smirks before he leans heavily into James’ side and rips a piece of pancake off of the ones already on a plate, blowing on it before dividing it in half and feeding it to Harry and himself.
James tasks them with setting out glasses of water and orange juice, mugs for tea. On Sundays coffee is banned in the Potter house. Regulus thinks he can wind himself out of his caffeine addiction that way.
When everyone is done and everything is in place they all sit down together, legs tangled under the table, smiling warmly at each other over their plates of delicious food, the spring breeze ruffling their hair and clothes pleasantly as it drifts through the open window.

Horrorfest: Summer Storm [Yandere Summer Spirit x Reader]
Title: Summer Storm [Yandere Summer Spirit x Reader]
Synopsis: You had forgotten what he was. Now you remember.
For Horrorfest request: –“Let's talk, you and I. Let's talk about fear.” –Stephan King, “Night Shift.” And I think this one would be pretty good for your Summer spirit, in a moment of terrifying clarity! Like he's not flippant or playing around/indulging you right now he's serious.
Word count: 600ish
notes: yandere, kidnapped reader
Tumblr media
“What would you do, if I left you?”
The question had been asked so stupidly, so carelessly. Not because you were unaware of the weight of it, but because you thought he would brush it off, and you could force yourself to brush it off, for at least another summer.
You thought he would laugh and smear the white globs of sunscreen he sometimes produced from thin air onto your nose; you thought he would push you into the ocean, or find a crab along the beach and threaten you with it.
You thought those things because you had forgotten.
You had forgotten what he truly was, in the lazy haze of those endless summers. He had become lost in the refreshing breezes cutting through the heavy shimmering air, in the taste of melting popsicles on his lips as he kissed you, and kissed you. Lost in the laughter as he pulled you through another season, hot summer grass tickling your legs, saltwater sticking to your skin.
But you remember now. You see him now, sitting next to you, even though he has his sand covered legs pulled up to his chest as he might have on any other summer evening spent on the beach.
“What… did you say?” You ask, even though you know the answer. It’s an answer that cut through the hot hazy fog of your brain and reminded you that the man in front of you was no man at all.
He tilts his head towards, eyes gazing forward, the color of them now the awful gray-green of a summer storm. You want him to repeat it–you don’t want him to repeat it. But he must, and he will; both of you agree upon this without saying a word.
He doesn’t sneer as he speaks. Doesn’t gloat, doesn’t threaten. He doesn’t loom over you or speak in dark growls of a dime novel villain. He merely states a simple fact, spoken into the hot evening as easily as any pleasantry you’ve shared before.
“I would destroy every crop in the country. I would see to it that there is no summer harvest. I would wither everything that dares to bloom in autumn. I would see them all starve come winter and I do not yet know if I would have enough pity for you by the next summer to let anything be picked even then.”
The words join the fireflies beginning to dot the horizon, flickering in your heart in the dying evening sunlight. Unlike the fireflies, the words will still be there by morning, a permanent scythe hanging above your head.
Hanging above the heads of the people you loved–and the people you didn’t. People you didn’t know. Children who had been born since he took you away, some of them perhaps relatives, nieces and nephews that you’ll never hold.
Innocents, not-so-innocents. People who would starve and wither like the crops, if he willed it.
If you willed it, you think, abruptly–and not without the thought catching something dark inside your chest. That same dark part that had not quite forgotten what summer could do, if it wanted.
“But I won’t leave you,” is your answer, a forced lightness to it; a forced breeze of your own, as artificial as the electric fans he sometimes shows you. “I was–I was only asking. To see what you would say.”
His eyes remain storm-gray for a few moments longer, and then he reaches for your hand, intertwining his fingers with yours. Calming himself down, you think, letting the storm ebb away into some other world, some other season.
“I sometimes forget,” he admits, smiling in a way you don’t want to understand, “how often people ask things they’d rather not know.”
A firefly lands on his knee; it glows, then it doesn’t.

cherry blossoms, tarot cards & chamomile - suguru geto
contents: sfw, fluff, meet-cute at book store, fem!reader, strangers to potential lovers, mentions of curses & whatnot, tarot cards reading,, 1.5k words.
a/n: this one goes out to the hopeless romantics who wanna fall in love in a bookstore aka me (we hear & see you)
Tumblr media
spring has sprung as one would say. the pale snow that covered the ground has melted away, which in turn allows the freshly cut grass to flourish.
cherry blossoms had recently littered the streets alongside the sidewalks, with each petal engaging in a unique twirl that fluttered like a dragonfly before angelically collapsing on the concrete.
with spring came along new missions suguru would have to endure either by himself or with his trusted friend —and nuisance— satoru. as curse energy that once accumulated during the toughest season gets released during the warmer seasons.
today was different however, the pair had been sent into town to retrieve a relic from the past of jujutsu history; a two thousand year old book that slipped out of the archives and has been rumoured to be contained in a bookstore hidden in the nooks of jimbocho.
“the warm breeze outside might fix the low oxygen levels in your heads.” yaga sarcastically reasons when satoru made his complaints about the origins of the mission known.
the raven haired sorcerer reprimanded his tone but expressed his concerns in a more diligent manner. anyone with half a brain would know it would take many decades to successfully pawn through each and every bookshop in the jimbocho district for a specific book, that neither of them even have the slightest clue as of what it looks like.
nonetheless, they were shooed off campus with a pat on the back and a simple: “you’ll know it when you see it—or rather feel it.”
suguru now navigated through the busy streets alone, —his white haired companion taking off a few hours ago on his own journey— with both hands in his pockets taking in the simplicities of life that surrounded him while keeping his eyes sharp for any unusual curse energy.
each corner he’d turn the storefronts would be filled with colourful book spines neatly lined adjacent to one another. the harsh sound of crimped sandpaper occasionally made its presence known when a costomer would flip through the pages.
a bitter earthly aroma tangoed with the wind. one would simply scrunch their nose up and turn the other way but for suguru, the olden smell of books filled him with comfort.
elderly couples hand in hand, a few children accompanied by their parents, and the complementary store cats that would linger in the isles or be found curled up on a random stack of books.
after roaming about and checking a few stores for their recent inventory stock, suguru oddly felt inclined towards a particular store that was larger than the others.
he enters, a ring of a bell from above signals his arrival. immediately, the smell of different assortments of tea wafts in and lingers in his nose.
a café combined with a bookstore…that’s definitely convenient. he eyes the ‘ring for assistance’ bell that rest apon the main counter, he lightly scoffs before ringing it.
“how many times do i have to tell your ass, no, you can’t conduct a séance he—” you round the tight, abelit, breathable corner to face the person it seems you weren’t expecting. you slightly jump back in a frightened manner then regain your composure, or more so, your customer service demeanour.
“my apologies! business is slow today and i thought a rather persistent costomer had came back. do you need help with a book or would you like to order something?” you enunciate your words with care, trying to not let any vocal cracks slip as you fiddle with your colourful apron which is a rather stark contrast from your all black work uniform.
suguru would pride himself as goal oriented man. the kind demands of asking to take a look at your recent stocks to see if the cursed book has fallen onto your shelves nearly wavers past his lips but the faint smell of his favourite tea clouds his better judgement.
“yes, i’d take chamomile tea with honey please.”
“coming right up!” you popped the ‘p’, scurrying off into the back to prepare his choice of beverage. alone with his thoughts again, suguru observed his surroundings with more caution.
the store has a whimsical charm to it. different array of ambiance lighting scattered throughout the establishment, vintage burgundy rugs made an appearance here and there, a few wooden chairs cushioned by velvet and a long couch that looks as if it has been passed down through many generations.
a sturdy coffee table in the middle and of course, the probably hundreds of thousands books neatly tucked in the shelves.
he wonders if you run this big place by yourself, must be a hassle if you do. he also wonders why a séance was mentioned by you in an irritated tone. maybe it could connect to his current mission? he plans on subtly bringing the topic up.
“one chamomile with honey!” you cheerfully announce handing over his mug. you don’t miss the way your heart skips a few beats when your fingers accidentally brush against his.
suguru nods his head to express his thanks. while digging for his wallet he brings up what’s been on his mind, “what was that séance you were talking about before?” he lightheartedly inquires.
you cautiously look over your shoulders and nibble on your bottom lip, as if you were scared someone might hear, “nothing too serious i suppose. these past few days business has plummeted cause there’s been talk about how this place is haunted.”
a small beat passes.
“which it isn’t by the way! just some silly stuff kids say when they wanna get under uncle daichi’s skin,” you grimace.
you then go on a bit of a tangent about how the alleged “hauntings” started a few weeks ago, just about the same time you gotten a new inventory restock. books would fly off shelves, unnerving whispers can be heard, lights would flicker and the atmosphere would turn unsettling.
suguru is unfazed yet intrigued by this, he calmly listens as his sharp eyes never leaves your face. he notices how animated your expressions are when retelling the events; you talk heartily with your hands as well as your voice that creates a certain bass to match your feelings.
he hums as he takes a slip from his mug, “can you show me the known hotspot for these hauntings?” you nod eagerly and swiftly move from your spot at the front desk to the back of the store.
yaga wasn’t kidding when he said he’d be able to feel the cursed book, as the cursed energy in the air multiples a tenfold when they step into the secluded part of the store the lighting couldn’t reach. he wonders how a cursed object this powerful was able to conceal itself from being spotted for so long.
suguru plucks the hefty grimoire off the shelf, small dust particles flying in its wake, “i’d like to purchase this one.” you look at him as if he grew an extra pair of eyes, but quickly shrug off any confusion and lead him back to the front of the store to cash him out.
as you progress his payment you feel conflicted about letting this particular stranger go so soon. holding him up for a few minutes couldn’t hurt, right?
“uhh.. wait, with each purchase a tarot card reading is offered free of charge. would you like to know what the future potentially has in store for you?”
suguru presses his lips in a thin line and sighs. he doesn’t have time for this and doesn’t believe in cards beholding a hidden future, however he is a sorcerer and just bought a book that would be a danger to society if not soon contained. raining on other peoples parade simply isn’t his forte.
he softly smiles with his eyes turning into crescent moons, “hit me.”
you try to conceal your excitement as you bring out a deck bound together by a rubber band. you start shuffling until four different cards slip out of the deck.
death, judegment, eight of cups, and the lovers.
“intresting…don’t be too alarmed by the death card, it could indicate the decay of a friendship that doesn’t hinder towards your beliefs or an troublesome habit finally coming to an end.”
you continue, “judement and eight of cups go hand in hand as your new calls for action may put certain things into perspective for you, as this chosen path may lead to dissatisfaction.”
“and finally, the lovers card is the nice light at the end of the tunnel. someone you can confine in and pour your heart out to; tarot cards can be interpreted in millions of ways so, take what i say with a grain of salt.” you smile as you put the cards away to bid the stranger farewell.
suguru stares astonished absorbing this information, you’re good. he’ll give you that. “well..thanks for the reading and the tea, have a great day.”
and just like that, he turns his back to leave until he stops just in front of the door. “oh, and i can assure you the ‘hauntings’ should come to an end now.” he smirks and waves you goodbye.
you smile until he fully leaves which is when the realization hits that you didn’t even get the chance to get his name, you frown and groan into your palms.
maybe he’ll swing by again…hopefully.

𝟷𝚔 || 𝐃𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐍
♡ ︎ꜱᴜᴍᴍᴀʀʏ: James hated the rain, but you had the opposite views.
♡ ︎ᴡᴀʀɴɪɴɢꜱ: Tooth rotting fluff
♡ ︎ꜱʜɪᴘ: James Potter x fem!reader
Tumblr media
James Potter was sulking. For the past hour, he had been grumbling under his breath, arms crossed tightly over his chest as he sat on the Gryffindor Quidditch stands. The rain poured down relentlessly, pounding the field and drenching everything in sight, including James’s mood.
“Bloody weather. Ruined practice,” he muttered, staring gloomily at the puddles forming on the pitch.
You sat next to him, humming softly to yourself, completely unaffected by the downpour. In fact, you loved it. The rain was your thing—the rhythm of the drops, the fresh smell of wet grass, the way the world seemed to quiet down, as if nature itself was taking a deep breath.
James, however, seemed ready to punch a cloud.
“I mean, who likes rain? It's so—ugh,” he groaned again, clearly expecting you to chime in with a sympathetic nod or an equally passionate rant against the weather.
But you were quiet. Too quiet.
James frowned, looking up from his intense stare at the mud. “Hey, are you even—” His voice trailed off when he turned to find you… gone.
His heart skipped a beat as he whipped his head around, panic rising. “Where the hell—”
And then he saw you.
There you were, standing in the middle of the Quidditch pitch, your white dress already soaked, but that didn't seem to bother you at all. You twirled in the rain, arms outstretched, head tilted back to let the droplets fall on your face, as if the world was putting on a show just for you. The sight of you, spinning and laughing, so carefree, caught his breath.
You noticed him staring and waved dramatically. “Oi, Potter! Stop grumbling and come here!”
James just stared at you, rain drizzling down his glasses. “I hate the rain!” he called back, the frustration clear in his voice.
You raised your eyebrows, incredulous. “You hate the rain? How could anyone hate rain?!”
Before James could protest, you marched back to him, grabbing his hand and pulling him down from the stands with a mischievous grin. “Come on, grumpy, you need a bit of this magic.”
“Sweetheart, my hair is getting soaked!” James whined, though there was a slight tug of amusement at the corner of his mouth. “Quidditch practice is cancelled, I’m cold, and—”
You cut him off by spinning him around so suddenly he stumbled a little. “Dance with me!” you ordered, that playful glint in your eyes making his protests seem utterly pointless.
James hesitated, glancing down at his drenched Quidditch jersey, then at your bright face, and finally up at the sky. “You’re mad, you know that?” he chuckled, shaking his head, but his fingers still curled around yours.
“I’ve been told,” you winked, stepping closer and placing one hand on his shoulder, the other still holding his. “Now, are you going to dance or let the rain win?”
He rolled his eyes dramatically but couldn’t stop the grin from spreading across his face. “Fine,” he sighed, though it sounded suspiciously like a laugh. “But if I get struck by lightning, I’m blaming you.”
You giggled and pulled him into an impromptu waltz, both of you stumbling through puddles, laughing like children as the rain continued to pour down. James was awkward at first, trying not to slip, his feet splashing through the mud, but after a few moments, he loosened up. Your joy was infectious, and soon, his complaints were forgotten as the two of you twirled and spun across the field, the rain soaking you both to the bone.
“This is ridiculous!” James shouted over the rain, but his laugh betrayed him.
“You love it!” you yelled back, twirling away from him and then back into his arms, making him catch you.
He caught you with ease, spinning you around in his arms before bringing you close, his nose nearly brushing yours. “You’re insane,” he murmured, his voice softer now, intimate, as if the rain had formed a cocoon around the two of you, blocking out the rest of the world.
You beamed up at him, droplets of rain running down your cheeks, your soaked hair sticking to your forehead. “And yet, here you are, dancing with me in the rain.”
James leaned down, pressing his forehead against yours. “Only because you’re irresistible,” he said, his voice low and warm, sending a shiver down your spine that had nothing to do with the cold.
“You hate the rain, huh?” you teased softly, wrapping your arms around his neck, your fingers tangling in his wet hair.
James grinned, his hazel eyes sparkling with affection. “Maybe it’s growing on me.”
And just like that, he kissed you—soft at first, but then deeper, more passionate, as the rain continued to pour around you, soaking you both but making everything feel electric. The world seemed to disappear, leaving just the two of you, dancing in the rain, lost in the moment.
When you finally pulled away, breathless, you smiled up at him. “Told you the rain was magical.”
James laughed, shaking his head as he tucked a strand of wet hair behind your ear. “Yeah, well, maybe it’s not so bad when I’m with you.”
You smirked, poking him in the chest. “Not so bad? You’ll be begging for more rainy days after this.”
“Only if you promise to keep dancing with me,” he said, and you could tell by the way he looked at you that he meant it.
With a grin, you pulled him into another twirl, the rain continuing to fall around you as you both laughed and danced together, completely oblivious to anything else but each other.

It was rare that he found time to simply relax.
And yet here he was with you. The air was pleasantly warm, a whisper against his skin from the cool breeze faintly tinged with salt from the sea, and the shade from the massive oak tree above kept the worst of the sun’s rays from reaching him. The familiar sounds of the park—squealing children, laughing couples, bees buzzing away beneath a chorus of birdsong and rustling leaves—had been a welcome respite from the blaring sirens and furious car horns, though he’d have been able to hear those, too, if he’d concentrated hard enough. But in a brief moment of peace, he’d allowed himself to reel his focus back in, his hypervigilance easing until he was just… here.
Here, in this case, referred to the two of you together atop a blanket under a tree in the park, the chosen location of your Saturday date. You’d settled with your back against the tree, your legs stretched out easily in front of you. It hadn’t been long before the warmth and fresh air had drawn him into an unusual state of lethargic relaxation, and at your encouragement, he’d wound up sprawled out next to you, his head in your lap, his eyes closed and his hands folded on his chest. You’d seemed to recognize the moment for what it was, too. Your fingers had quickly found their way often to his hair, stroking fondly through the strands, nails against his scalp a sensation that occasionally made him purr or hum, rolling his head into your touch. He wasn’t sure how long it had been, but that didn’t seem to matter. Sometimes you both talked, and sometimes instead you lapsed into a pleasant quiet, the two of you simply enjoying the break from all the chaos and stress so common in your life together.  Though your hands had been absent from his hair for a little while now, instead working steadily away at some sort of mystery project above him. He wasn’t sure what it was. He’d have to extend his senses to find out, and for now, he was choosing to trust you while he let go of his usual control.
Still, the repeated shift of you as you reached for something beside the blanket, the little snap as you pulled something from the grass over and over, adding it to whatever you were working on, finally stirred his curiosity.
“What are you doing?” he murmured, fighting back a yawn as he adjusted his head on your lap, tipping it towards yours. It wasn’t like he could see you, but he liked to make sure you knew he was listening.
“Making you something.” You let out a hum, something soft and light falling from whatever you held in your hands to land on his cheek. He didn’t bother to move it. It was soft enough, whatever it was, and delicately scented—faint traces of cut grass and something vaguely sweet, tinged with musk and the scent of your skin where you’d touched it. Even without his focus firmly in hand, the sensory weight of it made his nose twitch as he took it in. Fortunately, the smell wasn’t unpleasant, especially when mingled with yours around him, with the scent of grass and earth, oak leaves and sea breeze and sugary vanilla from the ice cream cart a few hundred yards away. Somehow, he had a feeling the unique mixture would stay with him, a memory shortcut back to the feeling of this moment, so he spent a long moment breathing it in, letting it imprint itself on his mind. These brief moments of joy, of perfection were something he held onto as tightly as he could, a shield for his heart when his thoughts grew dark and the world seemed intent on stripping all the good from his life like meat from the bone.
“There,” you said happily, the shape of your smile sunlight on his skin. “All done. Hold still.”
You shifted a little above him, lifting his slack head just a touch, and a moment later you settled something onto his head, a circular loop of sensation that lightly pressed down against his hair, tickling, velvet-soft whispers of textures against his forehead. The scent of cut grass and sweetness grew stronger with its presence, and he lazily blinked his eyes open, shifting his gaze towards where he knew your face lay.
“Oh, you need to let me get a picture before you take that off. My flower king.” You sighed, before leaning down to kiss him lightly. You lifted your head again, tilting your head in the way he’d come to learn meant you were taking him in, trying to ensure you would remember this later, just as he had a moment ago with the scents around him. “Your eyes with the yellow dandelions and your hair is just beautiful. You look happy.”
And the truth in your heart when you said it just…
“Maybe I am happy.” He leaned into your hand when you ran it down his cheek, scanning lovingly around the sensory shape of you, all gentle whispers of fire and soft sensation. “And what about you, sweetheart?”
“I’m with you,” you said softly, lifting up one of his scarred, battered hands. You brought it up to your mouth, letting his fingers trace your smile before you turned it and kissed the woven bands of scar tissue on his knuckles. “So yeah. I’m happy. Now sit up for me for a minute. I want to get a picture of us, flower crown included.”
That picture found its way onto his desk a few days later.
He couldn’t see it, of course.
But the cut dandelions you often left beside the picture were quick to bring the memory back, as did every last determined bloom he found growing up stubbornly through the cracks of his city.

Hello! Could I request Diluc, Ayato, Kaeya and Itto's s/o waking up from a nap and groggily saying "hello, handsome" when she sees them ?
Golden Hour
# genshin edition !
Tumblr media
⌗:, a/n: No cause i dont think i'l be able to keepmy head straight as soon as i see these guys infront of me. And yes the title does depict thesong golden hour by jvke!!
⌗:, warning: none
⌗:, pairings: diluc, kaeya, itto & ayato w/ gn!reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media
— DILUC ♡
The warm yellow sunshine through the curtains fell on your face rendering you awake from your sweet slumber. Even in the midst of waking up, Diluc felt your shuffling. Knowing very well how much your adore sleep he placed a gentle hand over your eyes to block the sunshine. You switched your position and faced him. It looked like he was awake a long time ago. He has this habit of basking in the quite morning with your sleeping form beside him.
You nuzzled into his chest. The smell of fresh grapes wafted into your nose. "mhm..Good morning handsome" you slurred. Sleep evident in your voice. Diluc's chuckle reverberated in his chest. "Good morning to you too, my angel. His voice was a little raspy since he also just woke up. He rarely showed this intimate side to anyone, and only you were the one with whom he gladly shared such vulnerable moments of his. He wrapped his one arm around your waist and kept the other underneath your head and pulled you close to him with such gentleness that to others they would seem like a foreign nature of the usual cold and stoic Diluc. But they were all filled with warmth and comfort. "We can indulge in your cuddles for 5 more minutes hm?"
Tumblr media
— KAEYA ♡
The soft sound of pen scratching against paper awoke you from your sleep. You saw him infront of you surrounded by calvary paperworks. Ah..so that's why the scent of ink was so strong. He smiled at you, the tenderness of love and a slight hint of tease evident in his eyes. You looked at him drowsily and gave him a lopsided smile.
Softly you said, "Hello handsome, done with your paperwork yet?" Your voice raspy yet laced with honey and adoration for him. "It seems my beloved is eager for my attention?" There it was, he started teasing you like usual. You got up from the uncomfortable position grunting since keeping your head down on hardwood will not be giving you the same level of comfort like the satin pillow or kaeya's lap. He laughed breathily, "Just a moment dear after a few lines I'll be able to give you the attention you've been itching for" you rolled your eyes at him playfully "Bold of you to assume I've been craving your love" he cut you off saying "Oh? so can I assume that you calling my name in your sleep is not you wanting me?" "Oh come on!"
Tumblr media
— ITTO ♡
The sound of laughter, playful shouting and things crashing and tumbling woke you up, quite rapidly, from your most deserved sleep. Although you were quite mad at whatever caused you to get up so abruptly, your rage settled into pure adoration as soon as you saw your lover with children around him playing his all time favourite game, Onikabuto fight.
You kept watching as the scenes unfolded. The blissful scene accompanied with the rustling of the tree leaves and grass with gentle breeze was too magical to be real amidst the internal aggression in Inazuma. Nevertheless, your lover still managed to find, like usual, the joy in little moments like these. And so did you. After losing for the nth time in a row, he bid farewell to the kids and his good gals, he rushed over to you like a toddler running towards their mother holding treats. "I'm here, I'm here love!" you smiled warmly, "Hello handsome, so how was your day?". Your voice was a little hoarse since you woke up not too long ago. "Let's go home now?" Itto quite readily agreed and as soon as you got up on your legs, he picked you up on his back giving you a piggyback ride. "I can walk you know?" "Well I'm cold! and the breeze is freezing me! you were the closest thing that was warm so not my fault!" You sighed at his childlike behaviour but, it was a little cold. "Alright then, let's go home now" and you sealed your words with a kiss on his cheek. "Ya got it!"
Tumblr media
— AYATO ♡
The faint familiar voice and the aroma of freshly brewed black tea filled the room. You slowly opened your eyes, finding yourself leaning against the shoji. Accompanied with the scent of black tea, the fragrance of sakura in full bloom filled your olfactory senses. You blind once or twice and were greeted with the relaxed frame of your lover Ayato.
"Slept well dearest?" he said, voice laced with joy. A soft smile crept on your lips involuntarily, "Hello handsome and yes I had a good sleep". You stretched your arms to wake you up and energizer yourself. "Thoma brewed the tea just now, have it while it's still warm" saying so he picked the cup up. He looked calm. He glowed amidst the cherry blossoms. The slight curve of his lips and the peace in his eyes had you staring for longer than you actually intended to. As if hypnotised by his movements, your hands reached out for the warm cup right next to you. You smiled, closing you eyes you took the scent in. A petal had fallen from the tree on the drink but its alright. As if in a trance, you couldn't find the sttength in you to remove that petal. You took a sip of the savoury tea. "Hah..." you locked your eyes with his. "It's as delicious as always love"

Valentine- L. Castellan
“won’t you, won’t you, won’t you, won’t you be my valentine?” - Suki Waterhouse
luke x fem! oblivious aphrodite reader
Tumblr media
Valentine’s day.
You might think that the day that celebrates love would be favored amongst the children of the Goddess of love herself, Aphrodite.
And for many campers who resided in Cabin 10, they did love the holiday!
“You’re a disappointment, (Y/n).”
Unless you were (Y/n).
Silena frowned as she looked over at her sister. (Y/n) was lounged across her bed, watching all of her siblings get ready with a longing look in her eyes.
“Thanks, Sil.” (Y/n) rolled her eyes as she set her gaze upon her black haired sister. “Really feeling the support here.”
“What am I supposed to support you in?” Silena pointed her hairbrush at (Y/n) and raised her eyebrows. “You plan to spend the day moping around instead of confessing to—”
“I’m too scared!” (Y/n) cut Silena off as she buried her head in her hands. “I mean— Luke probably doesn’t even like me.”
Silena sighed and rolled her eyes. Honestly, she found it hard to believe that (Y/n) was her sister sometimes. For someone who was so good at knowing about other peoples love lives, (Y/n) was oblivious to her own.
(Y/n) was in love with her best friend, Luke Castellan. Anyone who knew her would know that. And anyone with eyes could tell that Luke shared the same adoration.
Anyone but (Y/n), apparently.
The door to the cabin opened and (Y/n) smiled when she saw the blonde locs of her other sister, Cordelia.
“Why are you still here?” Cordelia wrinkled her nose, carelessly swinging a pink bag in her hands.
“I thought today was supposed to be a day about love.” (Y/n) frowned. “I am not feeling the love from you guys.”
“Its tough love, sweetheart.” Cordelia grinned and threw the bag onto (Y/n)‘s bed. “For you, by the way.”
(Y/n) sat up and grabbed the pink gift bag. She wondered who it was from, secretly (or not so secretly) she hoped it was from Luke.
She knew it wasn’t, though. It wasn’t even his handwriting that was scrawled across the bag.
Peeking in, she saw an envelope and a jewelry box.
She took the jewelry box first. She was in the confines of her cabin, she was allowed to be selfish.
In the box was a necklace. Half of it was pearls and half of it was a silver chain. Perfectly her style.. whoever picked this out must’ve known her well. Or they had asked her friends.
(Y/n) hoped it was the former.
Ripping open the envelope with little regard, she furrowed her brows as she read the card.
“you know i’m no good with words. meet me in the strawberry field so i can show you how much you mean to me.”
-your secret admirer
“Whose it from?” Silena asked curiously as she sat next to (Y/n).
“Dunno.” The girl shrugged as she handed her the note. “There’s no name.”
Silena smiled and grabbed (Y/n)‘s shoulders. “Well you have to go! I’m curious.”
“Yeah, but what if it’s someone creepy.” (Y/n) scrunched her nose up at the thought.
Cordelia and Silena shared a glance before pushing (Y/n) towards the vanity.
“Don’t worry about that.” Cordelia cooed as she began to rifle through (Y/n)’s closet. “It’ll all be fine.”
It was not fine. And (Y/n) was worrying about it.
Reluctantly, she stood in the middle of the strawberry field. She had gotten there ten minutes ago and still, no one had shown up.
She was starting to worry that Connor Stoll was playing a prank on her. She looked so nice, too. If her pretty, pink, summer dress was going to be wasted on prank— (Y/n) was going to be pissed.
After five more minutes, (Y/n) decided that this was a bust. She was about to turn around and march back to her cabin when she heard the grass crunch behind her.
Turning around, (Y/n) felt her face flush as she saw the familiar brown curls.
“Luke..” She breathed out. “What uh— what are you doing here?”
“M’ waiting for someone..” He mumbled and ran a hand through his hair.
He seemed… nervous, and he looked nicer then usual. Instead of the orange camp shirt and khaki shorts, he wore jeans and a red sweater.
And then it dawned on her. Oh gods… how embarrassing! She was supposed to meet her secret admirer here, and now here comes Luke.. probably meeting his Valentine here too.
“I’m meeting someone here, too..” She flashed him an awkward smile and reached up to fidget with the necklace she had received.
Luke stared at her, his brown eyes boring into her soul as he opened his mouth. He looked like he wanted to say something, but he decided against it and took a step closer to her.
“That’s a pretty necklace.” He mumbled, reaching out to touch it.
(Y/n)’s face burned red at the contact as she looked up at him.
“Thanks.. my uh— secret admirer, or whatever, got it for me..”
Luke took a deep breath in and (Y/n) pursed her lips.
“(Y/n), listen…” He reached up to touch her cheek, his warm breath fanning over her face. “I’m not good with words, but I love you.”
“Luke..” (Y/n) breathed out. Her face felt hot and her heart was fluttering so fast she was sure she was about to have a heart attack.
“When I’m with you, everything just feels right. And I just—” He hesitated for a moment and leaned closer. “Can I just show you?”
Instead of responding, (Y/n) threaded her fingers through Luke’s curls and tugged him closer, smashing her lips against his.
For years, she had wondered what it would feel like to kiss the Luke Castellan. Would it be fast and rough? Slow and sensual? She finally had her answer.
After a moment of shock, Luke pressed his lips against hers with the same amount of passion. His lips moved against hers fast and rough, but he held her face like it was the most delicate thing in the world.
Maybe Silena was right, (Y/n) was stupid. But she was making out with her best friend, so her stupidity must’ve payed off.
After a moment, Luke pulled away. (Y/n) frowned and tried to chase his lips with her own, but he pushed her away softly.
“(Y/n)..” He laughed, his nose brushing against hers. “Will you… be my valentine?”
“That was incredibly corny.” (Y/n) laughed. “But yes. Yes I will.”

Dad!Sunday Headcanons
Warning/s: None and no mention of reader's gender, whether the kids are adopted or your own is up to you
Notes: our internet is deadge so imma post this real quick from the neighbor's wifi, hopefully it gets fixed soon😭
Tumblr media
ena the order told me that sunday is a dad to twin boys, it's real it's legit not clickbait
we all know he likes to have control over things, so it'd be funny to see dad!sunday struggling to control the boys with how rowdy and mischievous they are
like, if he wasn't busy with work, he'd be carefully watching over the kids like a hawk, making sure they don't do anything risky both to themselves and to others around them. please, he'd rather attend a meeting with the boys next to him rather than leave them unattended, trying to ignore the amused looks he was receiving from the other family heads
dad!sunday would consider buying those child harness thingy after that one time the boys were with him in the hotel lobby, he only looked away for a bit and when he turned back to them, they were already running about bothering guests with their shenanigans
when it was you, though, the boys were so behaved he thinks they've been possessed. turns out, they just really love bullying their father
they're so full of energy sometimes that dad!sunday would have trouble keeping up, especially when he's just finished with his duties. he couldn't be any more grateful whenever you'd guard him while he rests so that the boys wouldn't climb over him (they once tried to throw his halo like a frisbee)
as much as they agreed on things, there were still days they couldn't agree on one thing and bickered quite a lot. dad!sunday would have to pull them away from each other lest they throw hands and scold their ears off about their behaviors and that they should love each other because they were family. these scoldings often lasted so long that the boys agreed they wouldn't fight as much or their ears might just actually fall off with how much he talks
all the childish shenanigans aside, dad!sunday is actually very proud of his little boys. they're smart like him, and even displayed a sense of leadership, and they're kind (when they're not feeling like they're invincible that is)
and they love their auntie robin so much, too! whenever she was around, they'd be glued to her side because they seldom see her with her being a touring singer and all. they also love her because she brings them sweets and trinkets from planets she's visited
they're also very protective, like when he's not able to be around you, dad!sunday can always trust the boys to watch over you
dad!sunday is such a family man (no pun intended)
Tumblr media
it was one of those days that sunday could relax, with no agenda and nothing to worry about. surrounded by his loving family in the garden as he sipped tea with a smile on his face
the boys weren’t too far away, playing tag with their laughs and giggles echoing in the background as he shared how his days have been with you
while you were conversing with your husband, one of your children tripped and fell face first against the grass. this cut off your conversation as he began to sob while his brother laughed at him
sunday was quick to approach them, getting on one knee to gently help the boy back to his feet, “are you alright? what happened?”
“he fell!” the older one grinned.
“oh there, there.” you cooed, picking up the boy in your arms as he pointed and sobbed about his scrapped knee
sunday turned to his other child with a sigh, “you shouldn't laugh at your brother. he was hurt, wasn't he? you should have helped him up.”
the boy frowned, looking down, “sorry, father…”
sunday shook his head, tenderly holding his boy’s hand in his gloved one, “you shouldn't apologize to me, but to your brother.”
the halovian guided the child to where you were cleaning the other boy’s knee, comforting him. sunday couldn't help how proud and joyful he was as he watched the older twin apologize before they hugged.
“thank you.” he suddenly spoke up as he turned to you, a smile on his face.
“for what?”
he held your hand and kisses the back of it, “for having this family with me.”
before you could reply, two voices interrupted you.
“ew!”
“father is so sappy!”
it took only one look from sunday before the boys scampered off, giggling.

As you leave the field with Ye Joon by your side, you can feel Yunho’s gaze following you, filled with confusion and unspoken questions. Your heart races, a mix of anxiety and unresolved feelings bubbling to the surface. You try to focus on Ye Joon, who’s chatting happily about practice , oblivious to the tension. Your sister walks beside you, her expression unreadable but supportive. Once you’re far enough from the field, she whispers, “Are you okay?” You nod, though you’re not entirely sure. “I knew this day would come eventually, but I didn’t think it would be like this.” Back at home, you help Ye Joon settle down with his homework, but your mind keeps drifting back to Yunho’s shocked expression. Questions swirl in your mind. Did he recognize Ye Joon? What will happen if he tries to reach out?. Later that evening, after Ye Joon is asleep, you and your sister sit down to talk. “What are you going to do?” she asks gently. “I don’t know,” you admit, rubbing your temples. “I want what’s best for Ye Joon, but I don’t know if Yunho being in his life is the right thing. He didn’t want kids back then, and I don’t know if he’s changed.” Your sister places a reassuring hand on yours. “Whatever you decide, we’ll figure it out together.”
A few weeks later, you find yourself at the baseball field, surrounded by cheering parents and the smell of freshly cut grass. The sun is shining, and the excitement in the air is palpable as Ye Joon’s team prepares for their big game. You watch from the bleachers, your eyes following Ye Joon as he warms up with his teammates. He’s been practicing hard, and you can see the determination on his face. Your sister sits beside you, offering support, and the two of you chat about the week’s events while keeping a close eye on the field. The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of emotions and decisions, but today you’re focused on being there for Ye Joon. On the sidelines, Yunho and Coach Wooyoung are actively talking to the players, offering tips and encouragement. Yunho kneels down to Ye Joon’s level, demonstrating how to grip the ball properly for a curveball, his voice calm and instructive. “Remember to keep your wrist loose and follow through with your arm,” Yunho advises, ruffling Ye Joon’s hair with a reassuring smile. Coach Wooyoung, meanwhile, is discussing batting techniques with another group of kids, emphasizing the importance of footwork and timing. “Keep your eye on the ball and stay balanced,” he says, mimicking a perfect swing. You can see the respect and admiration in the children’s eyes as they absorb every word. As the game begins, you spot Yunho offering words of encouragement to Ye Joon. Your heart skips a beat, but you remind yourself that today is about Ye Joon, and you’re determined to support him as he takes to the mound, ready to pitch his heart out. As the round starts, your son’s team is up to bat first. One of Ye Joon’s friends, Pil-gu, steps up to the plate. His first swing is a miss, and the home plate umpire calls out, “Strike one!” Pil-gu’s shoulders slump slightly, doubt creeping in. But then Ye Joon calls out from the dugout, “Don’t give up now, Pil-gu!” Pil-gu turns to look at Ye Joon, the light in his eyes rekindled by his friend’s encouragement. With renewed focus, he remembers Coach Yunho’s advice about keeping his eye on the ball and staying confident. As the pitcher winds up and releases the next pitch, Pil-gu is ready. He swings, and the crack of the bat echoes across the field. The ball soars into the outfield, landing in the grass with a satisfying thud. Pil-gu takes off running, his heart pounding with excitement as cheers erupt from his teammates and the crowd. He rounds first base and heads for second, glancing briefly at the center fielder who scrambles to retrieve the ball. Just as the center fielder throws the ball back to the pitcher, Pil-gu slides safely into second base. His teammates erupt in cheers, and he stands up, brushing the dirt from his uniform with a triumphant grin. From the stands, you and the other parents cheer loudly, proud of Pil-gu’s determination and the team’s growing camaraderie.
The game has been intense, with both teams scoring a few points, but Ye Joon’s team is edging ahead. As the game nears its end, Ye Joon is next up to bat. You cheer loudly for him, unable to contain your excitement, and Yunho glances at you, a smile playing on his lips. Ye Joon steps onto the field, waving to you with a confident smile as he makes his way to the plate. Holding the bat firmly, he recalls all the tips Coach Yunho has given him. The pitcher winds up and throws the ball, and Ye Joon swings with all his might. The bat connects with a satisfying crack, and the ball sails high into the air, soaring over the outfield and just beyond the fence. It’s a home run! Without hesitation, Ye Joon takes off running, his face lit up with joy. “Run, Ye Joon!” you shout, your voice mingling with the cheers of the crowd. As Ye Joon rounds the bases, Pil-gu makes his way to third and then heads home, both of them scoring. The crowd erupts in applause as Ye Joon sprints towards home plate. His teammates rush to greet him, hugging each other and jumping around in celebration as the coaches join in. Amidst the excitement, you spot Ye Joon and Yunho together. Ye Joon runs to Yunho, who picks him up and swings him around in a moment of shared joy. As Yunho sets him down, he looks at Ye Joon with pride. “Nice one, kiddo. You made your first home run! I’m proud of you,” Yunho says, grinning. “Thank you, Coach Yunho! I wanna be a star baseball player just like you,” Ye Joon replies, giving a thumbs-up with a bright smile. Yunho’s smile falters for a moment as he realizes the connection, recognizing the resemblance Ye Joon and him have. But in that moment, he pushes the thought aside, savoring the shared triumph and joy. After the celebration, as the last of the parents pick up their kids, the field slowly empties out. The sun is setting, casting a warm glow over the field, and the only people left are Yunho and Wooyoung, gathering up the remaining equipment and putting it away. As they work, Yunho can’t help but think about you. Questions swirl in his mind—how you’ve been, when you had a son, and most importantly, who Ye Joon’s father might be. Finally, curiosity gets the better of him. “Do you think Y/N has a husband or something?” Yunho asks, trying to sound casual as he hands Wooyoung a bat. Wooyoung turns to look at him, curiosity piqued. “Uh, I don’t think so,” Wooyoung replies, raising an eyebrow. “Why do you ask?” Yunho shrugs, trying to play it cool, but his heart feels a little lighter at the thought. “Just curious. I didn’t see anyone with her at the game.” Wooyoung nods thoughtfully. “I think she doesn’t have a husband because if she did, he’d be here, cheering Ye Joon on right beside her,” he says, stacking some helmets. “But maybe she has a boyfriend who’s the father, and he just doesn’t know about Ye Joon.” Yunho considers this, feeling a strange mix of relief and confusion. “She wouldn’t be that secretive and hide a father from their son,” he says, more to himself than Wooyoung. But oh boy was he wrong, sensing there might be more to the story than he knows. As they finish packing up, Yunho can’t shake the feeling that there are pieces of the puzzle missing, and he resolves to find out more about the life you’ve built since he last saw you. As Wooyoung continues to speculate, he grins and says, “But wait, maybe she’s dating a mafia boss, or she could be with an officer, or maybe even a coach.” He chuckles at the last suggestion, glancing at Yunho for his reaction. At the mention of a coach, Yunho feels a foreign flutter in his chest. It’s a feeling he can’t quite place, but it’s enough to make him pause. Wooyoung is about to launch into another wild theory when Yunho interrupts him. “I think that’s enough,” Yunho says, trying to sound firm as he stows the last of the equipment. Wooyoung opens his mouth to add another theory, but Yunho shoots him a look—a mix of amusement and seriousness—that tells him to drop it. “But what if—” Wooyoung starts, but Yunho cuts him off with a raised eyebrow, signaling him to stop.
Wooyoung smirks, raising his hands in surrender. “Alright, alright, I’ll stop. But you have to admit, it’s fun to think about. Yunho rolls his eyes, but there’s a hint of a smile tugging at his lips. As they finish packing up and head out, Yunho can’t help but wonder about the life you’ve built and what role, if any, he might play in it.

trusty old handycam
dad!schlatt x fem reader
warnings: toothrotting fluff <3
Tumblr media
it was a quiet, sunny afternoon when schlatt found himself in the backyard with your kids, holding his "new" 90s sony handycam he bought and has been fixated on the past couple of weeks.
"another camera?? you have like 5 other cameras you don't even use honey...."
"I know, I know. but listen... this one is different-"
you were slightly annoyed when he told you he bought yet another one. however, his explanation managed to sway your opinion.
claiming how this camera was soooo much better than his last one. the lack of a viewfinder ensuring he would be 'completely immersed in the moment'.
the fact that he even took that into account was incredibly sweet. it reminded you exactly why you fell in love with him in the first place.
his consideration, his thoughtfulness...
since he bought the camera, he brought it everywhere with him to capture every precious moment with your 3 kiddos.
right now, he sat on a lawn chair on the porch as he adjusted the settings for his camera. the kids messed around in the open field, playing games like tag, hide and go seek, sometimes even hide and go seek tag.
just as he finished fixing up the camera, your youngest daughter runs up to him.
"daddy! wanna see me do a cartwheel?"
slightly worried the 4 year old might land on her head, he reluctantly agreed.
"sure! but hold on sweets-" he picked up his camera, pressing record. if she was gonna fail, might as well record it and save it to laugh at later.
"alright buttercup- go ahead, show us what you got."
she raises her hands way above her head, a strong sense of determination and focus on her face. she launches forward, her palms go straight down into the grass, her feet following her form in the air in a weird... jump kick? from one side to her other.
none the less, she tried her best and absolutely killed it... at least in the eyes of schlatt.
"that was absolutely spectacular! beautifully executed. 11/10."
hearing her little giggles at schlatt's praise, she runs up and gives him a big hug. after giving her head a small peck, he sends her back out to play with her older siblings.
schlatt continued to record the sweet moment between all your kids playing in the yard. everyone yelling, screaming, and running around.
he also captured their sweet smiles and giggles, zooming in on each of their faces as the warmth of the afternoon sun washed over them.
there's no words to describe how he felt in that moment. looking at his kids thinking about how he helped create them, the big open grass field of a yard he remembered you so, so badly wanted.
...
sat in his lap, cradling your swollen belly. you exchanged tender words and promises.
"i want a big old farmhouse with a porch that wraps around the whole house."
"really?" he chuckles, "what else do you want toots?" he smiles, kissing the top of your head.
"and it HAS to come with a backyard with the biggest open grass field, where our kids can play and run around in.... or else i don't want it."
"that's all?"
"yep."
"I'll see what I can do."
a month later, he comes home from a morning away holding a new set of keys.
"what's this?" you point to the set of keys he held.
"keys."
"yeah, i know what keys look like dumbass. keys to what?'
"our new house." he smirks.
...
he chuckled, remembering that memory and the look on your face when he told you.
snapping out of his daze, he looked around at the beautiful farmhouse with the wooden porch, the grass field, and most of all, your most precious creations.
the screen door swings open and out you walk, holding a platter of all kinds of fruits. schlatt points the camera at you as you set the plate down on the glass table outside.
"ah there she is, my beautiful wife, mother of my children. where have you been huh?" you laugh at his words.
"why are you so sappy all of a sudden? i was cutting up some fruit hun."
"no reason, just missed that pretty face of yours." he stretched out a hand, pulling you in by your waist. you leaned down and gave what was supposed to be a quick kiss. instead, he pulled you onto his lap, deepening it. the camera now turned towards you both.
"mommy!!" the kids all run up the porch, breaking you apart from the kiss, "we found a worm!"
you cringed as your son held a handful of dirt up to you, and sure enough, there was a worm squirming around in it. schlatt laughed, knowing how squeamish you got around small creatures.
"oh! that's really cool sweetheart... how about we put mr. worm back where we found him?"
"uh.... i forgot where we found him."
"see i told you to remember where!" your eldest daughter interjected.
"that's okay, we'll find him a new home."
"can you hold him mommy?" he tries to hand you the pile of dirt.
"uhm.... how about you hold him and I'll help you find a good spot to put him? how does that sound?"
he laughed at your reluctance to hold it yet still cared about the damn thing enough to find it a good habitable home for the worm to live happily ever after.
"okay!" the kids all race down the wooden steps and out back into the field. you got up from schlatt's lap and trailed behind them. schlatt recording you smiling as you ran carefree alongside the kids.
