(Ask-Eden) Etoile floats casually through the area, but seems to be somewhat avoidant of the fellow mew, not quite sure how to interact with them. Instead, Etoile turns his attention to Joey. Floating near the mouse curiously. “My you are certainly a unique looking Rattata! I’ve never seen one with such interesting fur patterns.” The mew grabs their own feet and begin rocking themselves back and forth in the air. “Is there any particular reason you look this way? Or were you just blessed with pretty genetics? :3”

I’ve heard the scientists talk about me before. They my coat color is because I’m a chimera- whatever that means. My mom just looks like a regular old purple Rattata. My dad and siblings… I don’t remember them, so I’m not sure if they look similar.

But I do think I look pretty cool!

Oh! But that new purple guy in the tube? The scientists say it’s a chimera, too. It has Mew DNA and… something else. They have been calling it “Mewtwo”. Whatever they made it for seems to be really important!

(Mod note: A chimera is an individual whose body is composed of cells that are genetically distinct, as if they are from different individuals.)

I've seen screenshots around! While I haven't looked deeply into the game as I've been busy, I did come across the Alucard and Richter ones. I can really see the love and care for the characters put into each of those little guys from what I've come across so far. ( ' v');

Etoile rocks back and forth playfully as they continue to speak Etoile: It must be interesting! Being so tall! Must be able to reach all the cabinets.... Or well I can too but I guess I do cheat by floating heehee Etoile: It's always funny to see how different universes can be! Yet we all can still gather and interact with one another so casually.. It's nice! Etoile: Oh! Etoile floats upright correctly and does a small respectful bow Etoile: I was given the name "Etoile"! But you can call me whatever you like! Mew.. Etoile.. HeyYouOverThere.. ThatFloatingGuy... Whatever you feel like callin me is fine! Etoile: It's a pleasure to meet you! I do hope I didn't pester you too badly about my inquiries about how your universe works! :3

You’re right, burney. It’s not needed anyway, but I see most of them usin’ it anyway. Also I wanna be myself all the time, not with that cocky disguise that might be nothing like me.

Oh, yea, I’m from the universe where Pokémon are human-like, although some features still remain. Kinda want to tell ya how we’ve become like here, but I won’t, cause I don’t remember the history class, haha. But I’ll explain somethin’ I know anyway.

She explains why this universe’s Pokémon are like this. (see mod note below)

MOD NOTE BELOW

Kinda want to make some features to my universe Pokémon:

My Pokémon are more “semi-anthro” rather than “full anthro”.

They have human shaped bodies, (almost) human heights (although it depends on species, some of them are shorter, some of them are taller). I’ll try to balance things out.

But I want to leave some features like paws/claws/whatever and behaving like they did when they were a normal Pokémon (like cries, moves, etc.)

About clothing - I want to make clothing mandatory to my universe. Of course it could be full or partly, e.g. Noelle from my shiny mons blog and almost all Eevees are wearing tops only because they want to be free-spirited. Don’t worry, there’s no actual “nudity” because everything is covered up in fur.

About hair - some Pokémon have human hair, some are not. I’m considering Fuegia’s fluff a hair anyway, even if it was from the normal Flareon.

Sorry if it took more than a half of the actual post, but I want to spread my universe info here. Hopefully it was useful.

(Ask-Eden) Etoile twirls around in the air and hovers slightly over a small snow pile, looking at the pair with a smile. “Heehee, was just passing through and kept hearing mentions of.. “land mew” of some sort?” The mew playfully cocks their head “is you’re mew.. different?”

“You know I’m starting to question just how rare you guys are supposed to be or am I really special enough to get a visit from all of y’all in one day?”

Polaris spoke with a teasing tone as she cocked her head to look at this new mew.

Gasp!

“You don’t know about the Mermew?! Polaris can you tell the story?! Pleeaaaaaaase?!”

“Alright alright! Calm down Ory, I can tell them the story!”

“This is the story of the creation of the Mermew…

During the creation of our universe Arceus appointed several deities to watch over and protect our world. Among these gods were the mews, the children of Arceus and the spreaders of life. They flew and played among the stars, drifting from their realm to frolic with the creatures of the land. Where the mews went life flourished and thrived!

However no mew dared venture near the ocean. The large waves threatened to overtake the small deities and the dark depths seemed to reach towards them. The creatures of the land knew well that should anything enter those icy waters they never returned and told the mews such. And besides, why would such playful spirits ever bother to go to such a dreary and lifeless place?

But there was one. A mew with more curiosity than the others approached the ocean one night. They drifted from their starry home and towards the darkness below. But as they went further and further the twinkling lights of their home seemed to grow closer with each moment. 

Entranced by the reflection the mew failed to notice the storm swiftly approaching. By the first crack of thunder it was too late. They had grown too close to the water. A wave rushed towards them, swiftly dragging the helpless deity down down down.

Icy Water choked their breath as the lights they had called home darkened. Unable to fight the power of the ocean the mew sank. But even as they felt their mind drifting they only felt sadness. Not for themself but for the ocean. To be so empty and lonely that it had to grab anything that came near in hopes of company, refusing to ever let it leave.

As the mew's strength left them, they felt something shift. The lights above seemed to grow brighter and brighter. The mew struggled to keep their eyes open as their head suddenly breached the water once more. With a gasp the mew could once again breathe. 

With their energy spent they could lay there as something raised them above the choppy waters. Dark blue scales shone in the moonlight under the mews paws as they caught their breath.

“Are you okay,” a deep voice rumbled from under the mew. It felt soothing.

“Yes,” the mew coughed out, “thank you for saving me. But who are you?”

“I am glad you are okay,” the voice replied, “I am kyogre, appointed by Arceus to watch and protect the sea.”

“I didn’t know anyone lived in the sea.”

“I am the only one who dwells in these waters, a kingdom of my own.”

“That sounds lonely.”

“It is but that is how it is meant to be if arceus has not decided to change it. But it is not all bad for I get to watch the mews like you dance among the stars. Though you cannot see I join in your dances from my home here below.”

The mew was silent, thinking as they felt a sigh rumble beneath them. “Would you like to dance with me?”

Kyorge seemed to pause, shock freezing them in place, “but the ocean? Does it not scare you to be so close after it has almost claimed you once?”

“It scares me,” the mew said sitting up, “but so does the land and the sky. They hold threats as well. And besides if I fall in again you’ll just have to push me out again, as long as you’re here I am safe.”

“Then I would love to dance with you.”

And so they danced, the mew twirled in the air while kyorge mirrored them from the waves. The following night the mew returned and they danced once more. And again the next. Every night the mew and the kyorge would meet and dance and every night the mew grew closer to the sea and the kyogre approached the air.

As they danced their love blossomed and grew. As the mew welcomed the ocean and its guardian into their heart the ocean welcomed them, changing their form so that they may be with their lover without fear of the waves stealing their breath or dragging them into the darkest depths. Their legs that once allowed them to dance on the land had grown into a tail so they could glide gracefully through the waters.

And as the two danced under the waves life began to spread through the ocean. Pokemon glided through the water as if air while others crawled among the sea bed, No longer dark and lonely.”

Etoile sighs blissfully at the thought of a small clothing shop, they look back down at Arc with a smile Etoile: But that isn't really your problem that my tiny shop dreams are shattered. So I'll spare that heehee~ Etoile: But! Very intelligent for you to use those... rings... To create your outfit! Instead of using it for... Etoile:.. Whatever.. those rings are for.. Etoile gives a thumbs up Etoile: I will always applause creative thinking! I hope you are enjoying your time here aside from ye prattling on about tiny clothes! -

(Ask-Eden) Etoile floats on by, but quickly zooms back upon spotting the joktik on the ground. They float over curiously and hover in front of them, looking down. “Hello! It’s been so long since I’ve encountered a Joltik! Always so hard to spot!” They smile and ears flick forward with interest “Such tiny clothes! Did you make them yourself? Or is there a secret joltik clothing shop? >:3c”

“The ring was given to me so that I could turn into a human, buuuuuuuut the lack of aesthetic, Disgustang. Can you imagine me walking on two legs and having only two eyes? Yeah, it’s horrific, I’m not giving up my perfect beach bod for that. However, as you can see I’m using the ring for other purposes and now my form is even MORE magnificent and perfect. So, you can’t have my clothes since their just an illusion, Too bad”.

The mew turns their head to glance at the giant green tube in the room, eyes narrowing slightly as they somewhat view the figure inside. Etoile's ears flick backwards and forwards in a metronome like fashion, as if in thought. The mew grabs their own tail tip and playfully squeezes it like it was a plush as they look back down at the rattata Etoile: But TWO chimera's within the same room... ? Even more rare I would say! Etoile: You appeared to be trapped here by these.. scientists! Do you perchance have anything to do with... The mew gestures to the tube Etoile: That fellow there? Or is it just a rather odd coincidence that two chimera are in the same room? I mean.. considering one of you was trapped and the other appears to be... made.. :3

Thank you so much! I love those guys and the game they both appear in. I can't say we can talk much about The Adventure, I'm not timely enough to beat it. L(///L )
