I'd been highly anticipating episode 9 ever since it was announced that we'd be seeing the TPoT elimination grounds for the first time.
Because the elimination grounds are usually a look into the psyche of whichever host designed them (think Announcer's Loser Box and Four's Eternal Algebra Class, and later, his Big Rotating Building- which is basically an elaborate torture chamber lol). So I was a bit concerned for what Two had come up with for their elimination grounds, and what it would reveal about them as a character.
And now we know theirs is apparently a hotel with personalized rooms.
Tumblr media
Which continues to confirm that Two cares about their contestants (And puts to rest any worries that Two had been sending them to some horrible off-screen place).
And of course, now that we've seen it I had to analyze and theorize the heck out of it. After consulting some other peeps, these are the prominent theories:
Theory 1. The elimination grounds are built directly underneath the contestant hotel, and it's pretty much the exact same building as the one above it, just flipped on its head. This seems chaotic enough to be true, and it would explain why the door is upsidedown. But it wouldn't really explain why everything in the room is also taped to the ceiling, since it's hard to imagine Two going that far just to keep up the inverted aesthetic.
Theory 2. This is assuming the elimination grounds are actually inside Two's body, like Four's EXIT pocket dimension is inside his own. If that's true, then it's totally plausible that the elimination grounds normally look exactly like the contestant grounds- it's only because Two was turned into a zombie for this scene that everything inside them is now messed up and screwy.
I'm not sure how much water this theory holds, however, since we don't know the extent of Two's power (or even Algebralien power in general). But we do know for sure that Four is stronger than Two. And I'm willing to go out on a limb and assume that maintaining an entire pocket dimension that can support living people inside your own body takes an extraordinary amount of power. Power that we're not certain Two has.
And finally, theory 3. Pie is just being a little silly and deliberately wanted her room to look like that. This theory actually would explain why everything is taped to the ceiling. But not why the door is upsidedown.
Anyway, sorry that was so long, but thanks for coming to my ted talk! What do you folks think?

NATG XIV - Day 15
Prompt: Draw a ponyfied version of your favorite book, game, etc / Draw a pony from another world.
Sort of inspired by the latest BFDI:TPOT episode ("Out of the Blue"). Liy is a unicorn whose horn (and hooves?) light up when you press the switch on her nose. Four is a draconequus (though he doesn't really look the part; he looks more like Prickle from Gumby). And the Eternal Algebra Class is exactly what it sounds like; you don't want to go here.
The full chalkboard for anyone who wants to see it:

A Bother | Five X Male Reader | Chapter Four
“Oh my god, I’m so, so sorry are you okay?” Y/N said, taking a few moments to realize who was in front of him. He made eye contact with Five for what felt like eternity before he stood up and walked away into an alley around 20ft away from where they originally were.
Y/N after the shock disappeared he ran into the alley where he saw Five enter mere moments ago but found that there was nobody there. “What the fuck…” Y/N said as he looked around. “Hello? Five?” Y/N shouted into the empty alleyway. Maybe Marcy was right, maybe it was the missing Umbrella Academy kid. But wouldn’t he be a lot older? None of this made any sense, he wondered what really was going on-
Y/N’s thoughts were interrupted by a raccoon knocking over a few bottles, causing Y/N to jump. What was he thinking about? He couldn’t remember as the raccoon crawled closer to him, hissing. It probably wasn’t that important. “Hey there little guy” Y/N said as he rubbed his index and thumb together. Making a spspsps sound.
The raccoon hissed a bit more before running back deeper into the alley. Whatever, maybe he’ll try befriending him another day. He stood up slowly, watching the raccoon before turning out of the alleyway.
Y/N didn’t really know where to go, all he knew is that he didn’t want to be in that house. He took out his phone and earbuds and plugged it in, hitting the youtube app and clicking on ‘My Mix’ in the mixes section of youtube and shoved it back in his pocket, hoping that it wouldn’t get too jostled around and turn off or switch the songs randomly.
Eventually Y/N got texted by his mother that dinner was ready and he headed back. Eating dinner before brushing his teeth and going to bed, dreading the next school day to come.
—--------------------------------------------------
Y/N walked into his first class after an uneventful breakfast by himself. Why did his first class have to be Algebra of all things? He wasn’t necessarily bad at it but he sure did not understand it. He’s still passing but not with good grades, just barely above a D.
Y/N noticed that everybody was in different seats than usual and looked to see what teacher he had and silently cheered as he realized he had a substitute today. And it was Mrs. Evans, the sweetest and nicest person working in this entire place. He took a free seat in the middle row closest to the window.
Y/N Watched as the classroom slowly filled up with his classmates, keeping an eye out for the elusive and mysterious Five. Y/N’s words, not mine. He remembered in the back of his mind that he shared all of his classes with Five which was a weird coincidence. He silently hoped he’d sit near him so he could bother his new crush.
Y/N was disappointed as he saw Mrs. Evans closes the door, with Five nowhere in sight. He was about to give up and take a nap when he heard a quiet knock on the door. Him and a few of his other classmates as well as Mrs. Evans looked up and there were Five, waiting outside the classroom for somebody to open the door. Mrs. Evans got up to open the door for him, he nodded a small thanks to Mrs. Evans as he walked into the room. Y/N could tell Five was scanning the room for an empty seat. Y/N waved his hand to get Five’s attention and point to the empty seat in front of him. Five looked around, seeing as there were no more chairs he sat in front of Y/N.
Y/N waited for Mrs. Evans to finish taking attendance, telling us to stay quiet and just do whatever. After she was done talking Y/N quickly tapped on Five’s shoulder. Five turned around and gave Y/N a glare. “What do you want?” Five snapped harshly. “Geez, chill out, have a snicker” Y/N said as he dug into his pocket and pretended to hand Five a snicker.
Five stared at the other boy's hand and back to him, causing Y/N to giggle quietly. Five went back to glaring at Y/N as Y/N continued to giggle. “Oh you don’t want it? I’ll take it then.” Y/N pretended to open the imaginary snickers and eat it. Five looked at him with a look of confusion and disgust. “Damn dude, are you okay? You constipated or something?” Y/N said as he looked Five up and down. “What? No I- What do you want.” Five stuttered out before just asking Y/N flat out. “Nothing, I just want to bother the hot new kid.” Y/N said, pretending to admire his nails.
Five’s face went red with Y/N assumed it was a mixture of flustered and angry. Y/N let out a slight smirk as Five just went quiet. “Anyways, how are you doing on this fine morning, sir Five?” Y/N asked with a fake British accent. Five rolled his eyes before answering, his face going back to its regular pale shade. “Fine. You?” Five said through gritted teeth which did not deter Y/N. “Pretty good, I have some eye candy I’m munching on right now so I’m feeling great.” Y/N said as he propped his chin on his hands, his gaze not leaving Five’s eyes.
Five rolled his eyes again. Y/N reckoned that his eyes were gonna fall out at this point, which obviously did not happen. “And this eye candy is going to eat you alive if you don’t shut the fuck up.” Five said as he leaned towards Y/N. Y/N’s eyes widened before he composed himself and let out the word “Out?” He said with confidence.
“What?” Five said, backing up a bit with a confused look on his face. “Are you gonna eat me out alive? I’d imagine you’d do so while I’m alive or that’d make you a necrophiliac.” Y/N said, a small smile threatening to spill on his lips. Five just gave him a look of disgust. “What the fuck is wrong with you.”

I hope you enjoy this, sorry it took so long

A little preview for a Luca fanfic I'm sitting on, where Luca begins school and learns he's in over his head. The drawing belongs to Chelsiegeorgie.
Luca stared at the pre-algebra problems with a rising sense of dread. Maybe the textbook’s cover and the first page were misprints? He flipped to the second page, and the third, only to find more of the same. Oh carp.
He had expected basic multiplication and division – the things his mother had planned to teach him before Alberto had made his way stealthy appearance. But numbers surrounded by curved lines and fused with letters? Rational numbers? Putting equations in slope intercept form? He may as well have been reading hieroglyphs.
Were the other kids unprepared too? Right now, they were chatting up a storm about calcio try-outs, who had the most amazing summer vacation exploits to share and the latest fashion trends for the upcoming fall and winter. But could it be that in a few minutes, they would discover their textbooks and then howl in anger about how the teacher had skipped ahead in the curriculum?
Luca was about to ask Giulia that when an odd-looking man – bearded, half-bald, and with a pointy chin – appeared in the doorway. The chatter died away instantly. So did the enthusiasm. Now that was class was starting in earnest, most of the students looked like they’d made a dreadful mistake coming here.
Mr. Aregio locked eyes with them, wearing a perfectly neutral expression.  “The eager young minds of tomorrow. At least that’s what I intended to say. But the only thing you kids seem eager for is more summer vacation.
He brushed his fingers over his beard. “Tsk, tsk, tsk.”
He went to the board and wrote down ‘PRE-ALGEBRA’ in super-sized letters.
“Pre-algebra is like all branches of math, really. It’s a basic survival skill. It will follow you in whatever career you end up choosing.”
Mr. Aregio paused, perhaps for dramatic effect.
“But it should also be fun. And so, in this class, we’re going to be playing lots of games.”
Luca saw the girl sat to his left sit up straight in his seat, and a smile tug at Mr. Aregio’s lips.
“Let’s get down to business. I’m going to give you twenty problems to solve. If you get 15 out of 20 correct, you’ll be exempted from homework tonight.”
He jotted down some hieroglyphs on the board:  (2,1) and (-1, -5)
“I’d like someone to write me an equation of the line that passes through these points.”
Behind Luca came the sound of many more students righting their postures.
“Who wants to go first?”
Six students raised their hands, including Luca and Giulia.  Four of them did so somewhat half-heartedly, while Luca positively cringed with fear. Meanwhile, Giulia was wriggling like a fish. Nonetheless, it was on Luca that Mr. Aregio’s eyes settled.
“Ah yes, the sea-monster! Come on up here.”
“Actually sir,” said Luca, in the most polite voice he could muster, “I’m not sure if I can-
“Solve the problem alone? Not a problem! We’ll do it together.”
Luca had little choice but to shuffle his way to the board and pick up a piece of chalk. He hadn’t the faintest idea of what to do next.
“First, find the slope using the given points” prompted the pointy-chinned man.
You should have bought back the vespa, a voice whispered in his head. Now it's too late.
Luca fought to keep his cool. If Mr. Aregio could walk him through the problem, he might yet avoid public humiliation. Or anything worse, like getting expelled. “Um…how do I do that?”
“You’ll want to put the points in fraction form.”
“What’s a fraction?”
He guessed, from the way Giulia’’s eyes were flickering with concern, that his answer would set Mr. Aregio off, and it did.
“Oh come on, Luca, that’s second grade!” shouted the teacher.
Luca swallowed hard. His voice dropped to a half-whisper. “Yes sir, but, um, I haven’t learned about them yet.”
It took a seeming eternity for Mr. Aregio to respond. The sight of several students tittering through their hands made the time stretch longer still.
“My dear Luca” the teacher asked finally, “how much math did they teach you under the sea?”

ROUND 2-B: Four VS Bill Cipher
Tumblr media
About Four: The host of season 4, without getting any kind of permission from the original host. He introduced himself by crushing Black Hole into a smaller size, killing a contestant, followed up by screeching 2 contestants (and his co-host, X), inadvertently killing another contestant, and then bringing everyone back to life. He has a large variety of destructive power includes but is no where limited to; Screechy, Zappies, Mutilation, Shape-shifting (both himself and others), Violating the rules of 2D Perspective, Thought and Brain manipulation, Memory reading, Recovery, Regeneration, Merging with non-sentient objects or places, and sending the eliminated contestants to the EXIT, which is supposed to stand for Eternal Algebra Class Withfour, said contestants have not been released even after season 4 ended.
Bill Cipher: A dream demon who set in point almost the entire series with plan that got very close to working twice. He sent his home dimension and everyone in it into (literal) burning chaos, and then took over the lawless and unstable Nightmare Realm. He turned Gravity Falls into his personal play ground of breaking reality, he killed a time god, he has manipulated almost every main character at least once, he is seen everywhere in the show and has even cameo in many series (mostly in other Disney shows). The only know ways to kill him was with a super-powered gun specifically designed to kill him, and literally erasing him from existent by trapping him in someone's mind and then memory-wiping them, which he might have actually survived.

Redefining You | Kuroo T. , Miya A.
Summary: The three times you realize you love Tetsurou, and the fourth where you finally say it. A redefinition of the love that came to you, unanswered.
Characters/Pairings: Kuroo Tetsurou, You, (Miya Atsumu comes on ch 2)
Warnings/ Genre: Mentions of alcohol (beer?), tattooed!Kuroo, Angst, Unrequited Love, Healing, Slice of Life
Word Count: 3.2k
a/n: I felt some things last night and thought about some songs, so therefore here is an angst that is near and dear to my heart.
[Part 1] | Part 2  | Epilogue | Bonus
-
The first time the thought came to you was at age 13. You didn’t know what love was, never really felt it before, but as you stared at the way he hid behind his bangs and shuffled closer to his black jacket- you felt it. The first tap on your heart, first flutter of the butterflies, and the first kisses of an oncoming blush blooming onto the apples of your cheeks.
At thirteen, Kuroo Tetsurou said his hellos through cheeky smiles and light laughter. When he didn’t have volleyball, he’d be seated next to you in your orchestra class sharing a music stand, and engaging in small talk. He scoffed at your weird jokes, but he looked straight at you when you talked about your day.
You remember thinking about him in the school bus on the way home.
In him, you saw happiness; felt it even. During movie “dates” where the two of you watched Bridge to Terabithia while video calling at one in the morning because actual dates at the movie theater weren’t allowed by your mom just yet. Now, in your older years, you still often think back to those moments and laugh to yourself at how you turned beet red at Tetsurou typing ‘ur cute.’ on the chat box.
And so at thirteen years old, though still innocent towards the idea of love, through your own definitions you decided that the only explanation was that you loved him. And so love him you did.
-
The second time was four years later. You had moved abroad after your mother’s passing, and hadn’t really thought about the boy with the seemingly eternal bedhead. You flowed into your new routine quite easily despite the stark difference in culture and environment. At this point, though you still had moments where your thoughts ghosted over Tetsurou, you concluded it to be the stage where it had become just a funny memory.
Except, of course, there was that one vacation your dad forced you to go on (it being his hometown), the one where you literally knew nobody and didn’t speak a word of the dialect, in some weird turn of event you found yourself pressing the call button next to his name. Long story short, there was a really awkward conversation about why you were calling him at five in the morning but he eventually cracked a joke that was so like him, that the conversation with him just flowed naturally afterwards.
A call turned into two, and then before you knew it, despite on standing in the opposite sides of the world, a deeper friendship between the two of you grew.
Phone calls between the two of you became a regular fixture of your day, something that you eventually looked forward to. Still keeping in contact with the same group of friends you and Tetsurou grew up with, sometimes it felt like you never left at all. You found out that he eventually left orchestra and instead devoted his time to the volleyball team in his highschool along with Kenma.  It seemed like a natural choice for him to leave. After all, you saw him often scowl at the orchestra teacher during breaks.
At seventeen, you had that feeling again. You felt the familiar flutter during every goodnight and good morning call Tetsurou slipped within your day. Snapshots within your day included a random selfie Tetsurou had sent you and various other text messages that updated you about his day. For almost three years, you saw him through a screen. You saw Tetsurou falling asleep while flipping through an algebra textbook, yelling with or at Kenma with a game controller, or just laying back in his bed tossing and catching a volleyball while you flipped through your own notes. The distance didn’t mean much to you because despite being thousands of miles apart, it felt like Tetsurou was right there.
Your favorite moments had to be the summer of your final year in highschool.
It became a routine where Tetsurou, knowing that you completely trashed your sleeping schedule, you were more than awake at three in the morning for him to call. That summer he finally got his license and developed the habit of driving around with you, plastered on the screen of his phone, your voice blasted on the speaker instead of playing the music you knew he liked driving to.
He’d stop by a convenience store to buy ice cream and eat it with you (having your own midnight snack) at a quiet parking lot some distance from the city. And the two of you would stay like that for hours. You’d muse about the three a.m. thoughts swimming around your head that night and he’d listen, with the occasional snarky comment (that became endearing to you over the years), and he’d talk about the three p.m. thoughts swimming in his.
And despite being on opposite sides of the world, you managed to watch the sun together. Though, the only difference was that as it rose on your corner of the world, he sat and watched it set in his.
“We’re watching the same sun, though,” he’d say, and in a way, it made the distance feel a little absent.
So your heart decided to beat again, during a Saturday evening that autumn: when you accepted the skype call at seven p.m. and waved a good morning to a sleepy Tetsurou. He replied with a good evening before settling back into his bed with a mug of coffee and his fleece blanket wrapped up to his head.
“If you were here we could have actually gone on a date instead of that shitty video call, you know.”
You looked at him, pouting into his mug of coffee, eyes still a little bleary from sleep and figure enveloped in a giant blanket. “I know.”
“I bet we’d look cute together, (y/n).”
You pressed your face into the heels of your hands and scrunched your nose towards the screen. “Tetsu, I would look cute. You’d look slightly cuter next to me.”
He scrunched his nose and retaliated with an equally snarky comment, but you didn’t mind. The same flutter in your stomach told you that you didn’t mind. The way your heart pounded a little faster as you looked at your best friend bathed in the morning light, hit the final nail in the coffin with the assurance that you absolutely did not mind.
-
The third came in scattered moments.
For a while you had kept it as a secret for yourself, but eventually coming clean to Kenma one night as he drawled about how annoying Tetsurou had gotten over his new girlfriend. The blonde gave you a look through the screen before groaning, “My God, (y/n). I was rooting for you two.”
You couldn’t find it in yourself to hate the girl. Next to Tetsurou, she seemed like sunshine and you could see it. In the way his smile tilted a little higher and the way his eyes shone when she spoke. He often replied to her with a voice as soft as hers, so you yielded. “He’s happy, Kenma.”
Kenma looked at you with a flat look, so you took his silence as his response. Huffing out an exhale and pushing the controller to the camera’s line of vision, you met Kenma’s stare. “Another round?”
The realization didn’t come as a completed that came to you at once.
Slowly, even as you told yourself that you were okay, and whatever this was is okay, you knew convincing yourself was another story. The dynamic between the two of you didn’t change, or at least on Tetsurou’s part he genuinely thought that it didn’t.
The mornings and evening calls were still constant even though the duration had become shorter. Gone were the nights you’d idly sit and watch Tetsurou fight sleep during homework. But it was fine. You knew she must have kept him awake enough to finish the worksheets.
Jealously was an ugly emotion, you thought.
You knew it didn’t suit you, but you couldn’t help but feel it bubbling during that one Sunday night he’d rang you up at five thirty in the morning, because he knew you wouldn’t hesitate to answer (you didn’t), and waved a hello before flipping the camera and showing his girlfriend shyly waving at you from the passenger seat of his car.
Your throat tightened when you looked at the watch, then looked at the screen where he forgot to flip the screen, showing the setting sun’s light cast on the two.
You laughed out your excuse of needing to catch up on a little more sleep before you clicked your phone off and turned towards the window.
The sun had risen, and your heart may have clenched a little at the thought that he was watching the same sun set with someone who wasn’t you, but Tetsurou smiled in that special way with the twinkle in his eyes, so even as you watched the sky light up from the first peaks of the sun’s rays, you decided that because you loved him—you didn’t mind.
-
The next year continued like that.  The friendship stayed although the dynamic you two shared changed. As the year progressed, you took note of the dwindling calls, and hasty text messages. You didn’t bother to keep up with how their relationship deepened, but still had the heart to like every Instagram post either of them posted during anniversaries. You held on to the birthday messages or songs he randomly sent you and listened to the words that you sometimes imagined were what he meant for you. Once in a while the conversation would last longer than the occasional greetings and things felt like they clicked back into place again. But the next day, there never came the nostalgic good morning, or the sight of him with bleary eyes in the morning light, so you tucked that little piece of memory and listened to the same three songs you imagined were for you.
And because you loved him—for that time it was enough.
Before the autumn of the following year began, you found yourself seated on a twelve hour flight back to Tokyo where for the first time, in over seven years, you stood in front of him. Tetsurou was beaming, and you felt choked up.
Tetsurou’s hello was made known through a tight hug and a, “Glad you’re home.” So for that short while, you wrapped your arms around him and breathed the scent of his jacket, because for the first time in seven years, in a way he felt a little like home.
So as he sat across from you and said, “You would’ve loved her! She had to go somewhere that’s why she can’t come. But maybe you can meet another time!” you didn’t have it in you to let your smile crack and instead reached forward to clap him on the shoulder.
“Tetsu, you’re whipped.”
He laughed but nodded at your comment, but again, you took note of his happy smile so you let yourself try to mirror the emotion he held in his. And because you loved him, you thought of the tunes of the songs you imagined were for you and searched for the momentary peace in that.
-
That one time where you finally broke your silence was when he walked into your apartment with a chipped smile.
Another two years had passed where you watched Tetsurou grow into a new identity. He still cracked the same jokes from years ago, that you remembered, but his change was first subtle with the way he liked his coffee made to the resolve hardening in his eyes, and to the ink that wrapped around his arms. But he still had moments that made him reach out to you, and in those times you’d catch him animated about the most mundane things in early sunlight— you allowed yourself to love him quietly in silence.
“I have beer,” he said as he shrugged off his coat and rolled his sleeves up.
From your spot standing in the kitchen, you eyed the fresh ink on his arms. “New ink?”
Tetsurou placed the pack of beer in the middle of your table before taking a seat in the couch. He threw his head back and looked at you. “Yup. Got it earlier. Come sit,” he patted the empty space next to him with a little extra emphasis, “I really need a hug.”
Grabbing the bowl of chips from the counter, you made your way to where he was and sat at the empty space next to him. Automatically he slumped against your form and began picking at the chips.
Your hands patted the spikes in his hair and you leaned back, Tetsurou warm against your side.
“I feel like I’m dying,” he mumbled in your side.
“You’re not dying, Tetsu. Your heart just hurts.”
“I really love her,” his voice didn’t crack like you expected it to but his hand fisted the hem of your sweater a little tighter, so you sunk your hands into his hair and began smoothing out the wilder pieces. This had always distracted him, so you hoped it worked this time around.
You gestured for him to sit up and follow you as you grabbed a can of beer as you sat up. “Let’s get you some fresh air.”
Tetsurou grumbled a little before grabbing his own can and following you to the balcony. You leaned against the railing, cracked the tab open and took a swig. Tetsurou joined you by the railings and clinked his beer against yours before taking his own sip.
Tokyo’s skyline looked beautiful in the night. You peered at the man standing next to you, his own can pressing against his lips. “What made you get a new tattoo?”
He shrugs. “Don’t know.”
He paused to sigh. “Just felt like it.”
“You know you’re a good person right?” you ask.
“I’m not as much of a saint as I wish I was.”
“None of us are saints.”
He tipped tipped the can back and gulped down the remainder of his beer. “Not many people have broken a person either.”
And after a little pause in silence, you reassured him, “You’re gonna be okay, Tetsu. In time.”
“I don’t think I’m in that mindset yet.”
“Yet.”
He looked at you and sighed again. You thought even with tired eyes he looked beautiful. “Yet,” he repeated back.
And somehow along that night, the hours stretched into a comfortable silence.
This felt a little like déjà vu. With Tetsurou settled behind you, chin on top of your head as he enveloped your form in his, the both of you facing the east. Little specks of yellow lights began to dance around the sky.
Tetsurou’s voice broke through the silence as he said, “Have you ever loved someone?”
You closed your eyes and leaned into his warmth, already rehearsing the tunes of the song that brought you a false blanket of serenity over the years. “I have.”
“You did?” he asks, and his is tone sounded a little shocked, but you felt it in you that deep down he must have known, or suspected something even.
“Yeah. Eight years. I saw him in everything.”
“How,” his tone was a little more tentative his time, considering he was now dancing on unfamiliar territory, “how did you let go?”
“I haven’t yet.”
He stayed silent but he squeezed you a little tighter.
And then the two of you watched as the yellow of the sun finally broke through.
Slowly, the morning light illuminated the outline of Tokyo. You truly felt like you were in some sort of déjà vu as you looked at Tetsurou, for the first time, bathing in the same light, from the same sun, where you fell in love with him all those years ago.
You thought back to when your friend had told you that experiencing déjà vu meant that it was the universe’s own way of telling you that you’re going down the right path. And looking up Tetsurou, who felt the warmth of the sun with his head tilted back and eyes fluttered close, you knew you were right where you’re supposed to be.
Which was why you traced the ink on the side of your wrist and in a steady voice spoke, “I love you.”
He stepped back and looked at you. “What?”
His expression looked a little confused and you smiled. Holding out your wrist to him, you spoke again, “I began to tell myself that every day.”
“I realized because he made up such a big part of my life, when he moved on I felt missing and stuck. Kind of like being in a loop.” You giggled and willed yourself to remember the meaning of déjà vu again before continuing, “So like, the times where he’d be gone, I just decided to replace them by telling myself that I love me. I told myself good morning, and goodnight, and kept snapshots of my day to remind myself that I’m living this life and moving forward.”
Tetsurou looked beautiful in the morning light. Confused, but still beautiful.
“I realized in those eight years, I lost so much of myself. And he looked so happy. His eyes were literally sparkling, Tetsu! I thought that shit only happened in anime. But that kind of love happened to him so I thought I deserved that too.”
“I got this tattoo a few weeks ago, see?”
You turned your wrist to the side and watched as he traced over the inked bundle of baby’s breath. “I read somewhere that it meant everlasting love. I was in the middle of another sad girl hour moment so I thought why not give it to myself? It’s a start, right?”
Tetsurou’s lips quirked up at your words before he looked at you. “I’m proud of you.”
You looked back and met his gaze. It didn’t hold the same sparkle that it did for her but you didn’t mind. The feeling of déjà vu never went away so you inhaled a sharp breath. Tetsurou truly did look beautiful in the morning light, more so as he stands in front of you with a gentle look in his eyes. More than five of the eight years that you knew him had you spent dreaming about the morning like this where you’d stand with your hands in his own, eye to eye in the same side of the world looking at the same sun that lay witness to your growth.
You took him into his arms and buried your face in his chest, inhaling his scent. He smelt as familiar as he felt. And the moment still feels like déjà vu you feel like you could cry. Your heart constricts in the way that kind of hurts but also kind of doesn’t, and you feel his hand rub circles on your back, so you speak, “You’ll find peace, Tetsu. We’ll get there.”
His cheek presses against the crown of your head as he murmurs, “In time.”
And in that moment you realize that even though you love him, first you tell yourself a silent ‘I love you’ , and then echo, “In time.”

This is a blog for Four from BFB!
I, the owner of the blog (@the-announcing-fox) am not affiliated with the creator. This will only be a blog canon to BFB, with occasional appearances of X, though Four will be the only one here most of the time. Long versions of PERSONALITY and POWERS will be underneath under a tag, where it goes more in-depth.
[ NAME : Four ]
[ GENDER : Genderless. Goes by he/they ]
[ AGE : (non canon) 19 ]
[ PERSONALITY : Sadistic, but has a kind and caring side. He's proven to be somewhat insecure, and wants people to depend on him. ]
[ POWERS : Screechy, Zappies, Advanced-level reality-warping, Gravity manipulation, Shape-shifting, Size manipulation, Brain manipulation, Perspective violation, Controlling and morphing clouds, Earthbending, Physical video conversion, Warping, Malleability, Recovery, Mutilation, Elimination, Inception/Astral projection, Super-speed, Teleportation, Incredible strength, Dismemberment, Flight, Regeneration, Fire resistance (external), Thought manipulation, Intelligence, Airbending, Brain scanning, Incredible hearing, Telekinesis, Despawning, Possession, Assimilation ]
[ PERSONALITY (LONG VER) : Although Four seems to be calm most of the time, they do get angry. Four was well-mannered at one point, however, and didn't screech. But in BFB, they have a mysterious, sadistic personality where they use their powers to harm the contestants just for their fun. Four was shown to want a sense of dominance in the show and gets furious if talked back to or has tasks done for them. When provoked, Four would show no mercy and would even do things such as "dissemble" close friends out of anger, even lacking remorse in the process. Four mistook Nickel's response to calling David and Roboty "the only two non-objects on the team" criticism (which they could not tolerate very well). Four threatens to zap Nickel, with A Better Name Than That's plan being the only thing stopping the attack. Soon enough, Four seemed to be a lot calmer, friendlier, and humbler, most likely because the contestants revived them. They were noticeably less violent than before. After their return, they didn't screech anyone until another episode, adding onto how friendly they became, but will still not hesitate to zap those who bother them. They also declared that they could not allow X to find their treasure because Four must be X's only treasure, signifying that they wants to be necessary to X. "The Escape from Four" shows Four's personality in more depth as well as their possible motivations: they seem to be childish. They act like a control freak because they want everyone to stay with him forever, explaining their narcissism and cruelty when hosting the show. Four throws tantrums when things don't go their way and strongly dislikes being abandoned (possibly due to them losing their playthings) to the point where they cry and refuse to let X console them since they think that X will abandon them too. After the split, Four seems to be nicer to the contestants and shows more personality. Toward the end of the episode, after the split took place and Two took nearly all of the contestants, Taco tells Four that they lost over half of the contestants. Instead of being angry or sad, Four makes light of the situation by saying BFB has "advanced" to its final 14 contestants. In "Uprooting Everything", when it comes to Purple Face asking if he could be a co-host, Four immediately declines, stating they have a better co-host. Four was down about the last four contestants complimenting X's position and saying they were a "good host" than not recuperating the same to Four. In "Chapter Complete", it is shown that they have an insecure side. They get worried that no one likes them as a host and that they would be better off without them. However, at the end, they realized the errors of their ways after hearing that the contestants enjoyed their hosting and has changed from a self-arrogant to a kind-hearted individual, who treats the others better from then onwards. ]
[ POWERS (LONG VER) :
Screechy: Stuns any contestant who's targeted by said screech. It can also generate hearts when Four shows love or excitement towards something, which can fling a contestant as shown with Eraser.
Zappies: Beams that shoot out of their hands and electrocute anybody who is hit by them, making them lose health. Although Four has to seemingly charge up at times (possibly for a longer duration, constant beam), they can also fire them instantly.
Advanced-level reality-warping: Four can create objects such as cakes, buttons, pillars, Paper Planes, Buzzer Boxes, soup, orange dye, and jawbreakers out of thin air. Not only can they revive contestants, but they can also revive them in a place other than their hand, as seen in "Lick Your Way to Freedom" when they revived the contestants in giant jawbreakers, which they also created. Also, as seen with the paper planes in "Fortunate Ben", they can likely manipulate the laws of physics.
Gravity manipulation: Donut, while inhabited by the factor of Four, was able to turn on and off the effects of gravity. This ability can be refined to only affect certain entities, as Donut only manipulated gravity's effects on the Moon. Four was able to crush down a planet-sized Black Hole into a significantly less voluminous state and near nullifying Black Hole's normally intense gravity, allowing Black Hole to compete.
Shape-shifting: As shown in "What Do You Think of Roleplay?", both Four and X can shape-shift, or change their physical appearance. Also, they can change the shape of other characters as well.
Size manipulation: In "Return of the Rocket Ship", Four grows to an absurd size in response to Pillow's criticism. In "Take the Tower", Four grows to a large size when stopping Blocky and creating the towers. In "The Tweested Temple", Four grows to an extremely large size after Four receives Gelatin's cursed totem and declares he is up for elimination.
Brain manipulation: In "What Do You Think of Roleplay?", Four displayed the power to augment and transfer the brains/personalities of the contestants into each other; however, instead of going back to their original bodies, the body that the person's mind was in shape-shifted into that mind's original body.
Perspective violation: Four can violate common 2D perspective laws such as sliding in front of objects on the ground and suddenly switching to behind objects on the ground.
Controlling and morphing clouds: They have used this to time contests that require a time limit to show how much time is currently left. Donut is seen doing this in "Four Goes Too Far", but it's most likely via the "factor of Four".
Earthbending: In "Take the Tower", Four rose their hands up to cause two hills to rise under the team's towers.
Physical video conversion: In "Chapter Complete", the BFDI was revealed to be BFDI and BFDIA converted into a deep-fried box by Four.
Warping: Profily is killed in "Chapter Complete" touching a Four cactus. They ascended, warped, and popped.
Malleability: As seen in "Enter the Exit", "The Four is Lava", and "Take the Tower", Four's body and limbs can stretch to extreme distances and can change shape at will. They can also contract extremely thin in "The Escape from Four".
Recovery: Four replaces the Recovery Centers from previous seasons by using only their hand to recover contestants and numbers, and also teaches X how to master said ability in "B.F.B. = Back From Beginning".
Mutilation: Turns any contestant into an abstract version of themselves, killing them. A harp strum plays in the process.
Elimination: Four replaces the Tiny Loser Chamber and Locker of Losers from previous seasons, by sucking up eliminated contestants or "eating" them. From there, the eliminated contestants are sent to Eternal Algebra Class Withfour (EXIT). EXIT also appears to be an alternate plane of existence, because the contestants probably shrink.
Inception/Astral projection: Four cannot only enter themself to talk to "exitors", but is also able to still do that when they are already inside themself, as shown when they inserted their arm inside themself again to pick up Leafy in "Get to the Top in 500 Steps". Their arm also appeared to be larger than normal, which suggests that anything that enters shrinks (except Four).
Super-speed: Four can fly at extreme speeds, as shown in "Enter the Exit". Also, in "Chapter Complete", when they merge with the Big Rotating Building, they can travel from the Earth to the Sun in approximately 12 seconds, flying at a speed of approximately 45,000,000,000 km/h, or 27,900,000,000 mph. This means that Four can travel almost 42 times the speed of light.
Teleportation: He can teleport whenever a "4" has been played shown in "Today's Very Special Episode". They could also teleport others with a snap of their fingers in "What Do You Think of Roleplay?", "A Taste of Space", "Uprooting Everything", and "Chapter Complete".
Incredible strength: In "Questions Answered", Donut is seen pushing the entire Earth (the Earth's weight is 5.972e+24 kg, or 1.3166e+25 lb) into his camera using only his feet via the factor of Four. This trait also applies to Four's ability to warp reality. Four was also able to stop the FreeSmart Supervan just by putting their hand out, crushing it in the process.
Dismemberment: This happened off-screen when X interrupted Four, who snapped off X's leg. This is unknown to be a power or not, however, as it wasn't known exactly how Four snapped X's leg.
Flight: In "Enter the Exit", Four was able to fly over to the Waterfall to eliminate Roboty.
Regeneration: In "Enter the Exit", when the contestants were recovering Four, they were in a liquidated state up until the point when they were reformed back to normal.
Fire resistance (external): Four is able to stand on the lava and dig their hands into it as well. They were also able to survive standing on the sun and even merging with it without any issue, as shown in "Chapter Complete".
Thought manipulation: During the Cake at Stake in "The Four is Lava", Four displayed the ability to create positive thoughts (or happy thoughts) and send them to the safe contestants of blegh. It is unknown if Four has the ability to create other kinds of thoughts at the moment.
Intelligence: Four can understand Insulavoric (Dora's language), Roboty's Morse code, Teardrop's sign language, and Woody's speech perfectly, even though Insulavoric is supposed to be one of the hardest languages to learn.
Airbending: As shown in "A Taste of Space", Four can give people air, even in the vacuums of space.
Brain scanning: As shown in "Who Stole Donut's Diary?", Four shoots a laser (similar style to Zappies) at X's head and receives their thoughts to find out who stole Donut's diary.
Incredible hearing: As shown in "A Taste of Space" and "Fashion For Your Face!", Four's ears are able to hear from miles away, up to the sun.
Telekinesis: Just like X, Four can make things float by snapping his fingers, as shown in "The Game Has Changed".
Despawning: As shown in "The Game Has Changed", Four can "despawn" a contestant by bringing them off-screen which results in them dying. While the method of how they do it is unknown, we see a white glow where they are despawning them. This ability was further explored later on. As shown in "The Tweested Temple", laser gun sounds play when Four despawned X. This ability was revealed and confirmed later on. As shown in "B.F.B. = Back From Beginning", when X despawned Teardrop, it has been revealed that both Four and X have white laser eyes that make a character look black and completely disappear when it hits them.
Possession: In "Chapter Complete", Four possessed a tree, the courthouse, the High Speed Express Train, the BRB and the sun. When doing so, the things he possesses become blue.
Assimilation: As shown in "B.F.B. = Back From Beginning", Four was able to merge with the Desert and reshape it closer to their own appearance. ]

Note
A creature that looked similar to a stuffed animal, and was a similar size to Four could be seen driving a car while wearing stilts to reach the pedals. It was almost similar to a kitsune, in a way. Claw-like 'fingers' protruded from it's hand-nubs, and it spoke in an oddly squeaky voice as it stopped and rolled down the window, "Get in, losers. We're gonna yell at Four for sucking someone into the Eternal Algebra Class." (@numeric-value-of-four)
Monika blinked, before slowly rubbing at her face. "...Yeah, I guess this would happen-"
Natsuki snickered, "Do we get to bully that number dude?-"
