Seeking voiceover talent for "Rain: Series III," a web-series, created in the video game Halo Reach on MCC via Xbox/PC. "This series will have a total of 13 episodes. Chloe Moody (Voiceover): Female, 18-35WORK FROM HOME29. Voice type: English/United Kingdom accent, polite, doesn't get mad often but when she does, she loses it, anxious, low self esteem, hopeful. Chloe Moody used to be a psychiatrist, but after the death of her soon to be husband, she spiraled into insanity. She met someone later on in life named Tom Rains, who looked exactly like her dead boyfriend. She became obsessed with him & tried to get with him, which sunk her further into a deep depression. She finally hit rock bottom, which causes her to seek out help from the very people she used to serve. Chloe meets a psychiatrist named Jennifer, who is able to help herself almost fully recover. Chloe eventually accidently runs back into Tom, which triggers Chloe to try one last time. After a final rejection, Chloe comes to the realization that she is not redeemable & decides to take her own life in front of Tom. Chloe's death, triggers a massive event for Tom Rains, which has massive ramifications for the series. Chloe is a major character and will appear in a couple episodes.Languages:

Dark Daryl is the darkness of his original persona, Daryl. Daryl accidentally acquired a powerful technology known as an imperium. This caused Daryl to lose himself to it at some point & was taken over by an alternate personality named, The Professor, which caused tons of damage. When Daryl came back to his senses, the damage had been done & others abandoned him, which caused him to grow angry at something that he didn't consciously do. Daryl once again loses himself to the imperium, which turns into Dark Daryl, a representation of all the anger & hatred he endured over the course of his past uncontrollable actions. Dark Daryl is very aggressive, sadistic & wants to destroy the people who wronged him in the past. Eventually, he comes face to face with Daryl & fights to stay as the one who remains in control, even if that means killing Daryl & anyone who gets in his way. Dark Daryl is a character who appears in the second half of the show, & becomes the series main villain. He will appear in many episodes.

INSECT LIGHT TRAPS (ILT’S) –  BUG ZAPPERS – FLY LIGHTS

I’ve been in the pest management industry for over 24 years now.  I’m one of the lucky graduates of the Environmental Pest Management Program.  I not only learned from some great professors but also worked for some amazing companies. Ingrained in my DNA and the soul of GreenLeaf Pest Control is that pest management professionals play an extremely important role in public health. We are protectors of public health!  

One of the pests that I dislike the most is flies…..especially when I’m eating! I don’t want to get into a big lecture on how these disgusting insects sponge up fresh moist feces and then vomit on your food.  Let’s just say, flies have known vectors of foodborne illnesses, and therefore, pose a risk to the public.  Remember the Pepto Bismol commercial “upset stomach…..diarrhea!”

To keep our food supply safe, food processing facilities and their pest management partners have a clear objective – keep pests out and if they get in, use monitoring and control strategies to eliminate them. This is particularly true for insect light traps (ILTs). ILTs are used to monitor and control one of our highest risk pests in regard to food safety – FLIES.

BACK TO THE TOPIC AT HAND

Gone are the days when the Technician would show up routinely to fog, ULV/ULD, bomb a facility to control flies. We simply know better now and these fogging’s never addressed the root cause of the fly issue. In addition, the over-application of pesticides posed risks to human health and food safety. In a nutshell, the spray and pray model wasn’t the right approach. An integrated, when looking at fly control multipronged approach needed. One key aspect of fly management is the use of Insect Light Traps (ILT’s).  

WHY USE INSECT LIGHT TRAPS?

The purpose of using light traps is to monitor the populations of a particular flying insect. Again, these are powerful monitoring tools and will likely not magically fix your fly problem.

TWO COMMON TYPES OF INSECT LIGHT TRAPS (ILT’S)

While both styles use light to attract these pests, they differ in what happens to the insect once it enters the trap.

Glue boards style units capture insects

Electrical grid units (AKA Zappers)

ILTs that use glue boards, the insect is drawn to the trap’s light and then caught on the glue board’s sticky surface.

ILTs that use an electrical grid, the insect is drawn to the trap and then electrocuted and collected in a tray below.

Insect light traps are designed to offer ongoing monitoring of flying insect populations and provide some level of control. Many types of insects can be attracted to light traps, and a survey of a light trap’s catch tray or glue-board can tell you a lot about what is happening in that facility.

As the name suggests, it’s the special bulbs that attract insects.  The blue light emits ultraviolet (UV) wavelengths. Often referred to as

“black light,” its wavelength is typically between 300 and 400 nanometers.

WHERE TO USE LIGHT TRAPS

Light traps can generally be used just about anywhere, but a few variables do apply to each situation:

The client’s attitude is important with regard to his or her expectations about how the traps will be used. The traps should not be viewed as control mechanisms, because they probably will not eliminate all of the flying insects in the facility.

Sanitation is also very important in the control effort. Once the device is used to identify the problem and point it out to the client, the traps then become valuable monitoring devices.

In Canadian facilities, there are some general guidelines to use light traps. In general, these regulations have been designed to prevent contamination of food with insects or insect parts (that’s the extra crunch you don’t want).

The size of the light trap can make a difference in its attractiveness and should be considered when purchasing light traps. Certainly, The intensity of emitted light will have some effect on the trap’s attractiveness. As the light UV output decreases, it is less attractive to insects.

ONGOING BULB MAINTENANCE

There are two ways of testing the intensity of the light. One way is to replace the bulbs with new ones at regular intervals. As a general rule of thumb, In peak season May they replaced annually

You can also use a meter that will measure the ultraviolet output of the bulbs and tell you when their output is decreasing.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION

The most aspect use of light traps is arguably where they placed. Many times, the placement will depend on the actual conditions you are working under. In most cases, you are trying to head off the introduction of these pests, placing them low along walls protected from damage, will work best in capturing flying insects.

At GreenLeaf we are always concerned about a professional appearance. This also goes for the products that we purchase and install at a client’s location. Not all ILT’s need to look so commercial and ugly. Light traps vary considerably in appearance these days. Wall sconces have become an interesting addition to the styles of traps available, and certainly are more aesthetically pleasing than hanging glue sticks or flypaper from ceilings. If you’re a restaurant, QSR or have a client-facing business these lights are ideal for you.

ILT MAINTENANCE AND COSTS

The large industrial fly light traps are manufactured in various sizes and typically emit anywhere from 30 to 80 watts of energy. GreenLeaf only uses Safety Coated shatterproof bulbs in all our ILT’s. Having said that, this is a requirement for all food facilities (Yes, I’m referring to you…..bad pest control companies)!

As mentioned earlier, most manufacturers recommend replacing bulbs once a year. This is a good rule of thumb, but consider the situation where the ambient UV light has changed, or if new lights have been installed in a remodelled area. Either situation can affect the light competition, thus hampering the effectiveness of the fly light trap. Using the UV-A Meter may be a good idea to monitor these situations.

Cleaning and recording trap capture also takes time. Reports should be filed on what is being caught and what implications this may have on increasing sanitation problems or outside influences on the facility. As with any pest control program, the success of a fly control and monitoring program, using fly light traps, is often related to the time spent at each job. As the saying goes…..time is money.

THIRD-PARTY AUDITING STANDARDS

Fortunately, our third-party auditing bodies have very clear standards on ILT placement in relation to food and the impact it has on food safety. Some auditing groups specify how many feet should stand between food and ILTs. For example, #AIB and #Primus GFS state that does not place ILTs within ten feet of any food, whether it’s raw, processed food, etc. On the other hand, #NSF Cook & Thurber say eight feet should be the minimum distance.

Not all auditing groups give you a distance; they are effectively supporting the same standard in using the language “placed so as not to contaminate the food” within their requirements. This is an important placement consideration because ILTs should attract flying insects towards them, and not towards food.

ILT RISKS

There can be a risk of flying insects dying and then falling out of the device. This is particularly true for electrocution-style ILTs, where the electrocution may cause the insect to explode, potentially allowing insect fragments to fall outside of the collection tray. Never placed ITLs near food and never above food and food surfaces. The risk of escaping insect parts emphasizes the need for the distance between electrocuting ILTs and any food source.

160219: skam italia x gay center event (part 1)

it’s going to be really hard for me to recap everything that happened yesterday, so i’m going to split this in two parts: one dedicated to the conference and one to the moment when we actually met them and took pictures etc. i’m sure all the things i’m going to report were already said yesterday in tweets and stuff but i wanted to have a place to write them all down cause my memory is so bad. warning: this got long.

the conference 

first of all, kudos to the gay center’s staff. so many people came they couldn’t fit them all in the conference room, so they decided to have a second shorter session so that no one would go home disappointed. they also said that afterwards we’d be able to take selfies and meet pietro, rocco and federico

spoiler alert: pietro, rocco and federico are literal angels. so sweet, funny, honest, humble, intelligent and well-spoken. ludovico bessegato is confident, smart and a savage. he dragged the whole fandom and yet we still love him cause he’s a genius

as soon as ludovico stepped on stage he made it clear that this was not an event about skam only and to please respect that. he said that they wouldn’t talk about season 3 and not to ask about it, and that’s why no info came out

the conference started with a presentation of the gay center. their representative introduced the work they do with the gay help line and talked about really heartbreaking cases of lgbt youth (12 and 14 year olds) who called to report violence from their own families. it was really hard to hear. they showed statistics of discrimination in italy and other data. their point was that skam s2 shows a positive reality where martino is able to come out to his friends and live his truth and his love, but unfortunately we have to be aware that these terrible realities exist too, especially in this country

the skam section started with a question to ludovico about his choice to include the voice messages in the first scene of s2. we watched that scene. he said he knew he wanted to do it from the start but recording and adding the voice messages was the last thing they did, one week before the release of the first clip. he came to the gay center in rome and met the young people and recorded the messages with them (i’m sorry, i’m not sure this is accurate) and he was moved to tears. that’s when he realized how important what they were doing with this season was. he said it was important for him, before showing the easiness of two people who can be together without external hardships, to start the season with the voice messages, as a reminder that these realities also exist

the host asked what was the most important thing for him, what he felt more responsible showing, and ludovico said for him it was the reaction of a group of heterosexual friends to one of their friends coming out. without dramatizing it or simplifying it too much. so the coming out with gio was the hardest scene cause there was a lot of weight on it. giovanni also had to be worthy of the moment. i loved this part: he said for him it was fundamental that giovanni touched martino right after his coming out, because it shows that nothing has changed between them, that they can still have a physical friendship, because so many times this doesn’t happen, straight friends pull back from/become less physical with their gay friends. their friendship not only hasn’t changed but is made more precious now

ludovico researched stuff like the gay street and grindr by experimenting them himself. he went to the gay street in rome and had a mission to get hit on (and he was lmao) and who did he meet that night? ROCCO, who went to the audition the morning after! incredible, he said he didn’t know rocco’s sexual orientation or anything but because he had seen him at the gay street he knew he could help give his input to the series, and of course pietro was precious as well to help with the representation

we watched the coming out scene and it was federico’s turn for questions (you could hear he had a cold, bb), the host asked him about how he felt/prepared for it and he said he felt a lot of pressure but he basically let martino lead him, he trusted his character that he had worked so hard on day after day and he also leaned on ludovico tersigni and bessegato. he hopes as many people as possible can relate to that scene, see themselves in it and live it

federico said the series enlighted him and made him reflect on lgbt themes and problems. he was never one to use homophobic slurs to follow the logic of the “pack” but it’s a thing, when you’re 15 or 16 you think you have to conform to what your friends say and do even if it’s harmful but this is why we have to spread awareness (”bisogna evitare il grigiume dell’uniformità” - we have to avoid the greyness of uniformity, he’s such a poet)

special mention to federico’s beautiful sweater, apparently he bought it in oslo, that sweater made his shoulders look even broader and it’s my new religion 

we watched the milan uramaki/wedding proposal scene and BITCH I HAD NEVER REWATCHED THAT PART CAUSE IT HURTS i swear we were all holding our breaths. that’s when the host asked rocco about gay marriage and he said italy is very late but at least we have civil unions now and it’s been hard fought for. it’s important to talk about gay marriage not so much for younger gens but for older generations. discriminations are always present so you can’t relax even when you reach a goal, you have to fight for the next one

when asked how he pictures his wedding, rocco said marriage is very far in the future for him, but whoever it’s going to be with his wedding is going to be very normal (”everyone naked is not a bad idea tho”) and y’all already know this part, he said he’s a person who’s experimented a lot and he HATES LABELS, for himself and for others (so maybe don’t call him pan king, u know what i’m saying). he’s experimented a lot and tried to figure out what he likes and he likes a little bit of everything (ME PIACE NPO DE TUTTO. i was there. i was there when he said that. iconic) he understands the need for labels cause they can help you identify yourself and give a sense of belonging but there’s also the risk that they can be too limiting

he dragged the tumblr sjw politically correctness of fandom and something about how we all say we accept and love everyone but then WE are the first who feel the need to put labels on people and people in boxes. he said IT’S COOL TO HAVE NOORA’S QUOTE IN YOUR BIOS BUT DO ANY OF YOU ACTUALLY STICK TO ITS MEANING? YOU’RE THE FIRST WHO AREN’T KIND smth like that i swear i was a bit stunned

he also really didn’t like how everyone spoiled scenes and clips, ruining the experience for everyone while also creating false expectations, cause we expect things to happen and get mad if they don’t (ngl as a person who hasn’t watched the og i was like yeah tell em). idk, basically at the end of the speech all i got is that he’s an emma apologist

pietro said so many amazing things, like that when we have that moment of awareness, when we realize we are victims of behavioral schemes, prejudices and stereotypes deeply rooted in society, that’s when we can change the world. idk he’s seriously such a well-spoken smart person and he’s only 22

he also said in a video i have posted here that positive lgbt representations in tv shows/films are SO important for young people cause they need to see that there’s a positive reality out there for them too, that gay characters aren’t only the psychos, the ones who kill themselves or suffer

host dragged ludo for not including a beyonce song in the gay season but he said we can expect satisfactions from fili in s3

fede took the gay test and ludo told him the answers to get the totally hetero results, but when ludo took the test his result was Not totally hetero

rocco knows he looks like edward cullen, actually it was his first girlfriend when he was like 14 and before twilight was a thing that told him that he looked like cedric diggory aka rob pattinson. when twilight happened it all went downhill. the vampire outfit in the halloween clip was Not Casual. actually they had a line when someone told nico he looked like edward but it didn’t make the cut

fede said the hardest scenes, not because he couldn’t get in character but because of the expectations and pressures were the ones with mamma rametta (<333) and the coming out with gio. but the scene he hated the most was the i wanna be yours scene cause he said he went cross-eyed (è venuta di merda - it came out like shit)

host asked who’s top and bottom and they all laughed about it don’t worry (although i know someone asked again in the second session? and they said they switch idk, whatever)

at the end there was not a lot of time for questions but as soon as the host asked if we had any i IMMEDIATELY shot my hand up cause i thought i would regret it if i didn’t ask. so i stood up and pietro came to give me the mic (<33333333) and I WAS SO NERVOUS but i thanked them for all their work and then i asked rocco how he felt representing a character that’s not only lgbt but suffers from a mi, that he did a WONDERFUL job doing it because he helped so many people who suffer from bpd/mi to identify with niccolò (i accidentally said multiple personality disorder instead of borderline and i am so embarrassed but i swear. i couldn’t. think. i apologized too) if he felt he had more responsibility and if he could talk about the milan scene. he said he did feel a double responsibility and an additional pressure because henrik holm already did a splendid job, but he dealt with it like any other role, worked on the character like any other and tried to do it justice. he didn’t treat it differently. the milan scene was hard cause it was the very last one they did but they also had so much fun. he told us about bessegato pranking him and making him yell TABBBBASCOOOOO when he was running around naked in milan

i feel like i should mention that in the second session rocco said federico is a really good kisser (”bacia da dio” literally means “kisses like a god”)

that’s all i have and sorry this was so long. the conference was truly incredible. but meeting them afterwards was even more so and that’ll be part 2

Walking through those doors, Sol was immediately bombarded with lights and sounds. It was a press conference, the same layout as it had been for every post race in the past and will continue to be for every one in the future. Though, Sol would be lying if she said she didn’t enjoy them. Relatively speaking, of course.

She enjoyed the fact that she could string everyone along with whatever story she could come up with and the reporters ate it up like it was going to give them the answers to eternal life. 'Complete suckers' she had thought after the first round of questioning past back during her first year. Ever since, she's garnered a taste for the lime light. Well… maybe a bit before then…

 However, even though she walked through as a villain would, something was off about this particular post event. There were reporters, yes, but something else stuck out to her and before she could narrow it down, someone was whisking her away to touch up her makeup - having it smeared from the heat of the race - and then ushered her to a seat.

 A growl formed low in the back of her throat and her chest was tight with the expletives she was about to spew. A woman..

 "Tell us, Nyx, did you have a hand in the fall of racer Basilisk of Abraxilis Racing?"

Coy Cheshire smile, "What ever gave you that idea?"

 Lights continued to go off around the room as she waited for the reply from the others.  They were getting wet with anticipation at the potential drama being sifted and sorted. Which way were they going to spin their stories this time around? Sol had to keep herself from the barf noises she wanted to make at the expense of everyone there.

 "It's no surprise to anyone here. Or on the track, that your methods are less than honorable."

She allowed a hum in response as the reporter continued, "it only makes sense that the cause of Basilisk's... accident would be malicious in nature. And the only one devious enough to pull it off is you, Nyx."

 "Oh stop it, Zaera," she playfully threw her hands at the reporter as if she told the funniest joke, "you're gonna boost my ego tenfold if you keep showering me with praise like that~"

 There was a faint bit of uncomfortable chuckling from the other side of all the lights and Sol couldn't help but flash a big wicked grin in their direction. Eyes catching the flash of light and casting their glow across the room. It was surreal. As if they were in the presence of an actual deity.

 "Nyx, Nyx! Tell us, c'mon, did you do it? Did you somehow sabotage Basilisk's ride?" The murmurs that kicked up were hushed but adamant. They wanted to know they wanted answers.

 Sol shifted around in her seat to make herself more comfortable. Long limbs dangle where they could. Head tilting from side to side as if contemplating life's problems. As if she had the solutions.

 Another wicked gleam and grin sent them in a frenzy, "Torrid Gorge is a tricky, tricky track. I can't be to blame every time a racer can't handle their ride."

 More clicks from the cameras. More flashes go catch her molten stare. More questions were asked and then answered or just avoided entirely. The usual were thrown out.

 Who are you wearing? McQuinth, of course. The label partnered with Noxian~ to create something perfect for a deity such as myself

What was going through your mind during the start middle end of the race? Oh, you know. How to take the turns, whether or not dashing into golems is going to ruin someone's run. How fucking hot it is on the track… the usual.

What was the incident at the Neon Demon about? The argument between you and Widowmaker? If my beloved teammate hasn't spilt the beans, than neither shall I. It isn't becoming of a lady to kiss and tell, now is it?

Etc. Etc.

 In the midst of all the questioning came a moment where the air around the room became stagnant and almost icy. Sol can remember precisely when the goosebumps rose to the surface of her skin, almost tickling her in a way that scared her. Not a moment too soon after the experience the room was all a tizzy with alarms and chimes and bells gluing off signaling notifications to all the press present. She could even hear faint noises from the other rooms. Similar situation going on everywhere, she mused.

 Even Allryn, off to the side, was answering a call in a heated hushed tone, while a small holoscreen in the palm of his hand lay open for his viewing.

 A reporter called out to Nyx, drawing her attention and focus back to the room now occupied my hungry wolves rather than the timid reporters from earlier. What ever it was that came in, really got their journalism blood going.

 "Were you aware that Basilisk raced for the company Abraxilis?"

 The question was random and it took her a moment to process those words. Just what was it that came in that has everyone in a jumpy state?

 "You have already asked me this." It was evident that she was getting annoyed with the badgering and focusing on her did she didn’t she sabotage bit. At least to Allryn, it was obvious. "Please, Nyx, answer the question." They were dead focused on her answers. Hanging to her every word more so than normal. Their eyes wide and if she had the ability to gauge the sizes of their ears she would have guessed they had enlarged enough to catch even a whisper from her lips.

 Sol released a very auditable sigh, "Yeah, of course. I'm aware of all the racers and their teams and sponsors. It comes with the territory." A flick of her wrist to show her disinterest in these lines of questionings. Hoping they would get the memo and proceed to something with a bit more sustenance.

 "So then you are aware that councilman Cedric Abraxas was the founder and CEO of said company?"

 A slow nod from the goddess. "Yes? I'm afraid I'm not following..."

 "Let me break it down for you," Sol noticed Allryn slowly approach her location, eyes trained in on the interviewer, "We have just been informed that Lucira Artelcro aka "Basilisk" is in critical condition and may never race again." The crowd that occupied the room around her was a buzz. That must have been what the notifications were about. Basilisk's condition. No matter. It wasn't like that affected her at all…

 "Makes it a little less crowded on the track~" she let out a soft chuckle but the interviewer continued. Some people even began filing out in a hurry after checking their screens one last time. And to say that that wasn't interesting would be a down right lie. If anything it peaked her interest quite a lot. Why would they leave before the interview was over? It wasn't like they were there for very long… 45 minutes max after a race.

 "Were you aware of councilman Abraxas' death earlier this evening?"

 "What does that have to do with me?" Although, yes, it definitely caught her attention. The death of a political figure in Unicorn City, no matter how corrupt the guy was, still warranted a modicum of attention.

 "As you are well aware, Basilisk's team is owned by the aforementioned councilman and his company, Abraxilis. So you can see how the two instances taking place tonight, at roughly the same time, looks very suspicious. Especially for you."

 "Again. I fail to see the comparison." This was all too much. Even for Sol. Hell even for Nyx, the Goddess herself. Why was this reporter hounding her on the councilman's death? So what? It's not like she had anything to do with it. She was n the track, anyone with eyes and half a brain cell could tell you that that was where she was at the time of his death So, why all the questions?

 "If you're looking to ask me something specific I suggest you find the backbone to do it, otherwise this is over-" she makes to rip off the mic clipped precariously to the fabric of her cleavage and begins shifting in her spot and get up when there was a voice that called out over the hustle and bustle, "Was it on purpose?"

"Hmm?" Her eyes narrowed as she locked onto her new target within the audience. Halting her movements, waiting for them to continue further.

 "W-what I mean is. The accident with Basilisk and the attack on Abraxas. Was it on purpose? Did you do it?" They tried so hard to exude courage and confidence in their voice as they projected the questions towards her. She could literally taste the nervousness in the air.

 "I'm afraid I have no idea what you're talking about."

 "Was it some sort of political attack on Abraxas and his policies involving the rezoning of the Barzan provinces?" Cedric Abraxas, he voted against sending aid to Ser'hld IX more than enough times before the moon was finally destroyed. Sol remembers when the issue was fresh and it was all anyone was talking about those many years ago. And then when Leni entered her life and was able to open up to her, she would lean on Sol as she lamented her home's destruction. The only reason Sol knows so much and cares enough about Ser'hld is all thanks to Leni. So is she glad that the man, who could have stopped and saved an entire moon's population, is dead and murdered no less? Abso-fucking-lutely.

 "So you aren't denying involvement with either incident then?" Shit did she say that aloud?

 Before she shoved her foot any further down her throat as she likely would have, Allryn swooped out from the shadows and gracefully, yet forcefully, took Sol by the arm and raised her to a standing position. He muttered just loud enough for her to hear for her to keep her mouth shut and to act natural.

 "Thank you all, that'll be all for tonight." The way he took over the room with the authority of power, it sent a shock of electricity through her. But it wasn't in a way that was pleasant. Not in the slightest. Allryn was taking control of a serious situation, a mess that she herself decided to dig in to. Any backlash on his part was due because of her. "Any further questioning will be taken up by the panel. Please submit any and all recordings through the correct LAZER channels and the other racers will be more inclined to answer at a later time. Thank you all." He waved them off, turning his back on them literally, in order to escort Sol off the small platform and back through the door she emerged from not but an hour earlier.

 Still they shouted their questions and still camera and lights and flashes were going off. They even tried to push past the additional LAZER security at the back door to follow; all in the name to get to the bottom of the coincidence of the century.

 Abraxas top racer physically unable to compete anymore and he himself out of commission permanently? Seems a bit suspicious.

 And the only one at the center of it all, was Nyx.

guests: ryoutarou, justin, juudai, sonde

ryoutarou was the MC and he tried so hard bless his heart heehee but juudai and sonde, real life matsuhana, were ALLLL over him. they were giggling as he earnestly read from his script so he broke off-- ryoutarou: what?? I PRACTICED THIS, THANK YOU VERY MUCH. sonde/juudai: he's trying really hard, please cheer for him. juudai: yesterday ryoutarou's master (shishou) got everyone REALLY excited, we heard. justin: that's right. kenta-kun. ryouotarou: today i will overcome him!! juudai: that bar's pretty high lol. sonde: don't worry. with me, you're invincible. (ore ga ireba omae wa saikyou da.)

so then although of course ryoutarou did a great job overall, they jumped all over the little misses, like extra long pauses or flubbed lines. (ryoutarou: yesterday's screening was shoen… how was it? justin: um, i wasn't there???) to the point that sonde ran over, ducked down, hugged ryoutarou around the waist and yelled LET ME DO THE MC. they did the same cheering explanation/practice, only when they got to cheering for characters by name ryoutarou flubbed again-- ryoutarou: you cheer like if makki—makihara— audience: AHAHAHA sonde: (slinks toward him singing) ♫ tatoeba kimi ga iru dake de kokoro ga… ♫

(for the record "kimi ga iru dake de" is not in fact a makihara noriyuki song but it was immediately clear what sonde was going for, i think he got it mixed up with "donna toki mo". XD)

then when they did a practice play on stage for us to try out our cheers on, sonde spiked on juudai's head instead of the ball at first. (this is after he'd come running out at the beginning Extremely High Tension and spiked first on juudai then on ryoutarou, i assume he knew he wouldn't be able to reach justin. XD)

ryoutarou: ok but let's practice everyone's names for real come on sonde: makki audience: MAKKI juudai: mattsun audience: MATTSUN ryoutarou: tsukki audienec: TSUKKI justin: (pause) sonde/juudai/ryoutarou: JUS (fall about cackling pleased with themselves) audience: jus! jus! justin: my character has a name. sonde/juudai/ryoutarou: asahi, yeah, asahi justin: well, the cheering is up to you, so whatever you feel like-- audience: JUS! justin: please stop.

last but not least, tobe tobe karasuno/ose ose seijou, but while yesterday the cheers led into the beginning of the screaming, today juudai specially asked to end with ennoshita's don don-don-don clapping rhythem, and it turned out this was because he and sonde had practiced a pose ending with their hands on each other's shoulders making dramatic faces at the audience. (aka the フォーリンラブ/fall in love pose if you are familiar with comedy. XD) like i said, real life matsuhana.

FINALLY, THE ACTUAL SCREENING sorry. XD during the opening, everyone got up and acted out their choreo – ryoutarou couldn't wait for his own entrance, though, and got up and did oikawa's part first, right down to the cutesy double v-sign. then for his own scene he held his thundersticks up to his ears as oversized headphones, ahahaha, and then started doing both tsukki and yamaguchi's parts.

the cheering/whispering division was even worse than last night, juudai and sonde spent a solid half of their time their whispering to each other and cackling at their seijou teammates, they're terrible. (i love them.) thanks to the screening last night, this time EVERYONE was yelling "don't mind!!!" at kageyama failing to get into shiratorizawa and "nice catch!!!" at hinata picking up the ball. (and "nice receive!!" when kindaichi casually tossed the ball to kunimi. XD) juudai and sonde could not get over the calls for kindaichi, they were like, falling out of their chairs laughing. meanwhile, ryoutarou and justin got very into the MST3K aspect and were calling out their own oneliners on the regular. also since asahi doesn't appear much in the first half, every time justin appeared in the background holding up the net etc he would jump up and run up to the screen and point himself out. then he got really into his own match and got up to yell (ofc) "SUGAAAA" and "uchikitte koso—" audience: ACE!

it was fun to see who got different reactions at saien vs shoen – a BIG suga-san/ino hiroki crowd tonight, while other characters got squeals or name calls, at the loving closeups on suga the audience literally dissolved into dreamy sighs/whimpers of "KAWAII". which, i mean, they're not wrong. big seijou crowd as well, juudai and sonde looked so unimpressed with the screams for oikawa ahahaha.

the aftertalk: as i remember it, mainly embarrassing seijou stories from juudai. he explained that when seijou was the Seijou Chorus in white coats, naturally they'd take a breath before reciting their lines, then exposed the fact that arisawa shoutarou was so earnest and serious about being in unison that he would specially practice taking the breath and settling his shoulders, and as a result you can pick him out super easy in the background because when he takes a breath the movement goes from the top of his head all the way down his spine.

furthermore worry-san held auditions for the rap bit and the one most enthusiastic was kaito, all I'LL DO IT, I'LL DO IT. and then when he did... juudai: the rap was me, sonde-san, kenshin. sonde: i remember it super well. juudai: we were lined up like this sonde: and yamagiwa kaito-kun was? juudai: not there.

when hinata gets hit in the face during the neighborhood association match, kindaichi runs out with the ball – sakamoto kouta also volunteered for this role. ("in shoen it was masa-san – wada masanari –" "BUT NOT KAITO.") but he always had to hurry to get his coat zipped up and hood down in time. during one show, he was too rushed and just had to run out with his coat thrown on but not zipped or hooded – so instead of a faceless ensemble person it just looked like kindaichi was really cold and threw on a coat before running out to smack hinata in the face.

then ryoutarou said, "this is just between us here, but when were out on tour everyone got pretty close, right, and juudai and i were always sharing a room-- juudai: um what do you mean JUST BETWEEN US, that's not a secret?? you're making it sound like it's a different kind of relationship-- justin/sonde: (nod nod nod) ahh, i see, i see how it is.

oh, and of course ryoutarou and justin dragged ken-chan for his very unique interpretation of the choreo. XDD

ryoutarou: so, after today, are there any of the other screenings you want to join? juudai/sonde: ...shousha to haisha. sonde: obviously. juudai: it's the only other one we're in.

then ryoutarou and justin started talking about – was it hajimari no kyojin? and it just KEPT GOING so eventually juudai and sonde turned toward each other and started a faux-conversation like, "what are you doing tomorrow?" "nothing much just mumble mumble" "oh yeah cool sounds fun" until karasuno noticed. "oh, no, go ahead, we're talking, it's fine."

oh yeah and ryoutarou mentioned that HE would be back for shousha to haisha. ryoutarou: i'm supposed to be the MC but… that might change after tonight. ryoutarou: what if we make kairi the MC audience: (screams) ryoutarou: I WON'T GIVE UP TIL I OVERCOME MY MASTER sonde: ...then why did you ask.

finally, they also each said a few words about "saikyou no team" – not as heavy as the shoen quartet, iirc, but nice! juudai talked about joining in from saien, sonde talked about how watching saien made him look forward to rejoining the production for their last show, justin talked about all the changes in and how they planned to do their best on behalf of the cast members who'd left as well, and i can't even remember what ryoutarou said because i, along with the rest of the audience and guests, was hanging on the edge of my seat to see if he'd get through it without tearing up. XDD IT WAS CLOSE BUT HE MANAGED, justin and juudai both had these evil grins like they knew exactly what was going on ahahaha.

Thriving in an Economic Bubble during Anarchy

17. The Christian Succession – An Audit is not a Recount.

A Biblical “Day of Reckoning” for the USA got one step closer last Friday. Over the coming months two critical phrases by our brilliant founders to keep in your mind – “We the People” are the government and our leaders have power only with the “Consent of the governed”.

Close only counts in a game of horseshoes, with a hand grenade, and when using an atomic bomb. A perfect example of the failure of “close” was the media’s misleading headlines from the Arizona Forensic Audit (AFA) results on Friday, September 24, 2021.

The AFA is not a “Recount” so the results of the election were not changed…yet. When you recount the same ballots, both legal and illegal, you get the same result. Instead, the AFA is a forensic audit - an attempt to determine:

1. Were all the ballots legal?

2. Was the election conducted per the laws and regulations?

3. Did the machines function correctly per the laws and regulations.

4. The answer - Nope, Nope, Nope.

Please note this summary from Arizona State Senator Wendy Rogers which identifies enough illegal ballots to have changed the outcome of the 2020 Election in Arizona (or decertify it):

-3432 more ballots cast than people who voted. -9041 mail-in voters retuned more ballots than they were sent. -More ballots cast at precincts than people who showed up to vote, by 1551. -2382 ballots cast by people who voted after moving out of Maricopa County. -Nearly 300 dead people voted. -Over 17,000 duplicate votes. -23,344 mail-in ballots voted after they moved, and after the deadline.

Among the items not included in her summary are the following items:

1. Instead of the one type of paper authorized for ballots, there were 10.

2. Data was deleted from the machines the day before the machines were turned over the auditors.

3. One machine held data that appeared to concern the 2020 election in both South Carolina and the state of Washington.

4. It was reported that another group compared a list of the unusually high number of new Arizona voters registered in 2020 (over 600,000) with the records of the Social Security Administration (SSA) and found that 58% (approximately 350,000) did not exist according to the SSA records.

Four other states have now announced forensic audits. Apparently, the only Virginia legislator with enough testosterone to demand a forensic audit is Senator Amanda Chase of Chesterfield County. She makes the other Republican legislators look like eunuchs. Virginia does not need a Recount. Virginia DOES need a Forensic Audit. Only those who committed vote fraud should oppose a forensic audit. We put men on the Moon, we can have honest elections.

Both Mr. Durham and Mr. Sussmann are still among the living. I wish neither of them ill and pray my Lord and Savior surrounds Mr. Durham and his team with angels to keep them safe. But I would not make a loan to either man based on life expectancy because too many folks that enter the Clinton sphere and become a potential embarrassment have fatal accidents. Monica Lewinsky is among the few to survive. What is her secret to longevity?

Meanwhile, the Demented Marxist Show (aka DMS) continues to demonstrate how to intentionally destroy a prosperous country. Instead of recreating Venezuela, the DMs should move there. The DMS slogan– “Build Back Better” is worthy of Orson Wells since all they are building is more government, economic chaos, and less personal freedom.

As the DMs gaslight us with the media, the world continues to come apart at the seams. The list of crises that Biden and his DMs have created is amazing. I suggest focusing on the two largest – the coming Constitutional Crisis over decertification and the Chinese.

Last weekend, I was struck by the parallel paths of (1) Xi and the Chinese Communist party (CCP) with (2) Biden and the DMs. Both are aggressively pursuing centralized government economies. Both are ignoring the historical fact that centralized economies ultimately fail regardless of the available resources and talent. The only economic difference I can see between China under Xi and the USA under the Biden / DMs regime – the Chinese borrow to build physical infrastructure like roads, cities, airports, etc. while Biden/DMs borrow to fund social spending such as paying folks not to work.

Capitalism grows the economy so that government revenues increase enabling the government to provide benefits out of the increased tax revenue. Neither China nor the USA are on that path. The future for both is going to be painful – either high inflation with a stagnant economy (“Stagflation” last seen under Jimmy Carter) or default. That is why the false drama in DC is so fascinating – numerically the DMs have the votes to increase the debt and pass their “infrastructure” bills that will nail the lid on our economic coffin. Instead, they are blaming the Republicans for the delay.

Some key data points: (1) The new Saturday ritual is to join 60 – 100,000 fellow Americans in a football stadium and scream the “Biden Salute”. (2) One of the 600 Americans arrested for attending the January 6 rally has died in captivity. I think that atrocity just got much worse for the DMs. (3) Why do hospitals and first responders prefer to lose unvaccinated staff in the middle of a pandemic? (4) Wise investors are monitoring the China Evergrande Group collapse and concerned about the “Ripple Effects”.

Economic Forecast:

Last week The Fed announced it would begin tapering its Quantitative Easing (QE) later this year and increase the Fed Funds rate next year. Both are an acknowledgement that inflation is a

serious concern especially as the DMS continue to pursue their massive wasteful spending.

Tapering QE means those Treasuries must be bought by investors. The Fed can reduce the required deposits by banks at The Fed thus freeing banks to buy Treasuries. But with 5% annual inflation any bank president that authorized investing in a 10-year Treasuries paying 1.5% should be fired. Therefore, interest rates on 10-year Treasuries should increase thus increasing mortgage interest rates which will reduce the market value of real estate, stocks, and bonds. In January I predicted the real estate market activity had peaked, some laughed. My new prediction is that in the fall of 2022, the USA will be in recession and experiencing Stagflation. UGLY.

The financial markets continue to discount the bonds of Chinese real estate development companies. That demonstration of independence is critical. The Chinese banks owned by the CCP will take the direct hit from the default by Evergrande as will some big American investment firms. The CCP has bailed out their banks three times in the last 20 year, here comes bailout number 4. Xi is a dictator and dictators do not tolerate opposing views. I doubt anyone around Xi is asking about the ripple effects from Evergrande which will cascade through China and the global economy. The USA will be impacted by the ripple effects. No wonder two Fed Presidents announced their retirements taking their Pandemic stock portfolio gains with them.

Slashing taxes, decreasing the size of government, and providing tax incentives to build the American manufacturing economy is the proven way to increase the size of the American economic pie allowing more assistance to those who need it. America prospered under the hand of God because our country enjoyed the combination of Christianity, capitalism, and democracy.

Biden and the DMs have us on a path that is a self-destructive and decreases the size of the economic pie. Everyone loses except the “Elites”.

Pray that our Lord and Savior raises up and protects the Patriots that demand forensic audits of the 2020 election in every state. Honest elections are the fulcrum of our American experiment. It is not vengeance to demand honesty and that everyone play by the same laws. Men make plans, but God ALWAYS wins. Every portfolio should contain some cash and a great piece of land remains The Best investment long term.

Your readers might enjoy knowing that Barb has wormed her way into my consciousness – grammatical errors on signs leap to my horrified eye with regularity now. And Laura, a natural animal lover, has, since voicing Faye, actually hunted down an irresponsible dog owner in her community and brought him to justice! I hesitate to ask how Retta has impacted Judy!

Laura: I think the producer just got it right in casting us. We really are each of the characters. It is almost eerie sometimes.

Judy: JoBe has an ear for casting. He knew the intent / nature of each character and heard it in our voices. It didn’t hurt that we were playing such strong women when he was casting.

You all, especially Laura, who voices the character of Faye, do an admirable job of imitating each others’ voices when voicing each other’s characters. Did you do this fully consciously or did it just come naturally as you heard each other talk?

Anne: Thanks! We have a lot of fun with this. Judy and Laura will have to give their methods on this, of course. Personally, I combined what I knew about each sister’s personality from reading the first book, then listened to their first recordings of early chapters, and then voiced them as I heard them – with a bit of Barb’s opinions and humor layered on!

Laura: Thanks so much for the compliment! I have to say that I just used my instinct with what I knew about their character and the way they talked. I try not to overthink. I usually go with my gut and the first thing that I feel. Once you establish it you have it inside you and it just comes out. I also have certain mannerisms I use. For instance when I do Barb I put my hand on my hip. She is the oldest and I always feel she is telling me what to do or judging me. It helps me get into character. With Retta I use my hands a lot and get BIG. She is larger than life.

Judy: We are just imitating our sisters!!

How much interaction did you have with each other when planning and recoding the books?

Anne: Before the first of the current five books I believe we chatted about our feelings about the sisters’ relationships. The fact that each character has her individual chapters means that we each record at separate times, and our schedules rarely find us even crossing over at the studio. But one thing I always do is figure out which of us first voices other characters in a book and listen to her version of that character – for example our “hired guy” Gabe – and model my voicing after hers. It would be jarring, I think, for a listener to hear Gabe voiced as slick and fast talking by one of us, slow witted and slow talking by another, and snide and greasy by another. Luckily Peg’s writing gives us well-drawn characters, so what one of us comes up with as a voice seems realistic for the other two.

Laura: At the beginning we collaborated or had some discussions about the characters, etc. We actually had no idea we would be doing any book beyond one. It actually is a surprise we are on book 5 already. We are all quite busy lately so we do not get together but if we have a question we text or email each other. We each record on separate days.

Judy: Some key points. – I think Anne described that well.

What draws you to the Sleuth Sisters books?

Anne: I love a good mystery, and I love humor. The Sleuth Sisters stands up in the mystery category so well – I never know which direction a story is headed, there are always surprises and twists. The unforced humor of some relationships and moments is organic, not a goal of its own, so it’s just the right touch of lightness in the sometimes hefty life situations involved in each book. I look forward to each upcoming book because they are so different from each other. No formula at all. And each of the sisters is a strong, layered woman. We as readers, and listeners, learn unexpected sides of their personalities with every new book.

Laura: When I read the first one I really loved it. My life is so insane right now I don’t have time to read deep complicated books. This was light and easy to read and I loved the characters. I could relate to what they were going through and it was just fun to read. I loved how each chapter was spoken by a different person. That was unique and really makes you feel you get to know the storyteller.

Judy: The fun of the mystery and loving relationship of the sisters.

What is your favorite part of narrating audiobooks?

Anne: Well, I love to read! In addition to that, though, I think it’s a wonderful kind of sharing. Standing with my lips just inches from the microphone is like talking right into the listener’s ear since most will listen through earphones, or on a car radio. So it’s a personal relationship, sharing a great story with someone who wants to read the book and has decided to do that via listening. Very personal. I’ve got a responsibility to be thinking of the listener as much as I think of the characters.

Laura: Hmm the favourite part for me is that I can feel totally overwhelmed with life and the pace of it juggling family life, career, etc but when I finally get in the booth I do not have a worry in the world. It is like I am transported to another world and I am just with the mic and my script telling the story. It is my happy place.
