Do you know what I was just thinking about? There is a reason why we still talk about Larry after fifteen years and why so many people believe that there was always more than friendship when it came to those two, a reason why even though all the boys were pretty affectionate and close,it was Harry and Louis who stood out as something different. And to me it isn't even about the receipts, the proofs, the theories or even the signaling and the tattoos that feel like literal soulmarks... It's that so many people, so many queer people saw them and it was like looking into a mirror. Not in a "I am projecting" kind of way but in a "I recognize this" one.. All the ways in which they interacted with each other, the subtlety and the private moments even in front of cameras, so many people just saw that and paused and realised 'I’ve been there. I’ve felt that. I know what I’m seeing because I’ve lived it' even if the context was different...Well anyone could see it if they really looked and essentially love is a universal feeling anyone can relate to and recognise when they are open to it...But I am talking about queer people specifically because the nuances of it all and certain intricacies and behaviours are not simply perceived or understood they are memories of personal experiences, they are not just observed they are remembered.It is seeing yourself in the fleeting glance or the longing stare, the uncertain touch or the secret smile.. Actually it's not so much as seeing yourself in Louis or Harry but the opposite, seeing them in you and realizing their truth because you know yours.

And maybe, just maybe when so many people feel that way and see the same thing, their judgement and feelings shouldn't be dismissed so easily and in such a cruel way because after all shared experience speaks louder than "evidence" sometimes
